Pokémon Bank Has a Final Date: February 26, 2027

Nintendo has confirmed February 26, 2027 as the official end-of-service date for Pokémon Bank, timed just ahead of Pokémon Day 2027. When the service goes dark, the only existing transfer path from older Pokémon titles into the Switch generation disappears with it. Separately, Pokémon HOME is adding compatibility with Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen Versions in October, and players who complete that integration will receive a Celebi reward.

For collectors who have spent years building living Pokédex archives or hoarding event Pokémon in Bank, the February 2027 deadline is the hard stop they have been dreading. Any Pokémon still sitting in Bank that has not been moved to HOME by that date is gone. The FireRed and LeafGreen HOME support arriving in October is a meaningful expansion of what the modern ecosystem can hold, and the Celebi reward gives collectors a concrete incentive to act before the window closes.
