We got in our first PSA submission order. LeBron James. 2024 Topps Finest Die cut. I think this card is just really awesome. 13 out of 150. It is worth $65. Worth it. Now we're getting into the tens. 2024 Select Damian Lillard. It's about $100. 2025 Donruss Optic TE. This was also a 10 auto. That card. PSA 10, 225. 2024 Caleb Williams, Phoenix Venetian. $300. Oh, that's gotta be triple auto. Julio Jones, Roddy White and Andre Risen. 7 out of 10 and out of 10 triple auto. You don't get those every day. No, like comment. Subscribe, darn it. Yeah, and maybe you'll get lucky. We'll find you and give you one. Welcome to the Collector Nation podcast. Here on the Collector Nation Network. Whether you're chasing grails or calling bluffs, we take you inside the hobby. Here are your hosts, Ryan Alford and Brian Lutt. What's up, guys? Welcome to Collector Nation. Here on the Collector Nation Network, you got Ryan and Bella. It's R and B. Yeah, R and B tunes. No extra B today. Yeah, I know. R B, B B being Brian, CEO of LudX, who usually joins us on these Fridays episode, is busy running a company. I mean, how dare him? I know. With the all the craziness of this summer, he's. He's like everybody else and running around like a chicken. With the two weeks and counting to the national and doing, you know, business deals behind the scenes. I'm getting excited. Like, I, It's. I can't believe it's finally here. Exactly. Two weeks. I. I feel. I knew it was going to kind of happen this way because it felt like forever, you know, four months, three months, two weeks. I knew it was going to kind of. It's not snuck up on me, but there was a lot to prepare. I mean, even for us, it's like. Yeah, it's for you. My brain's like hardwiring a little bit. How many different little printed things we've got going on, how many, you know, events and podcasts and all that stuff. It's fun, though. It's. It. It will be overwhelming even without that. Oh, yeah, No, I. I'm just mentally prepared to be overwhelmed the whole time. So then hopefully it's not as overwhelming. Yeah, it's not. But I was looking at the LUDX interactive map today, and I. I mean, it's hard to not be overwhelmed. Yes, it is. It's a lot going on. You just gotta. How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time, baby. Yeah, it's gonna be one tiny. One national. One national thing at a time. I think I need to get more comfortable shoes. Yes. Oh, you definitely do. But I've seen your shoes. I've also been, like, trying to think of, like a funny stick I could have, you know, like, what if I show up in like, like a wig? Just like every day a new colored wig, so then I'm just like, wig girl, you know? Exactly. I think it's proper. I'm just going to jump ahead on the schedule because it's on here. We do record this sometimes the day before, sometimes two days earlier. But England and Argentina are playing on our 200 inch. I think that's what it is. 150 something. Very large screen here in Collector Station. More of a sports bar. Let's call it what it is, than card shop. It's both. If a card shop ate a sports bar, it's kind of what this is. Or vice versa, I don't know. But yeah, they're playing. They're 12 minutes in at 00 when. When you hear this, we'll have the team maybe dub over. Yeah, well, what the final ended up being. I personally am hoping Argentina wins. And I know that that's kind of a hot take in the soccer community, but I entered the doordash competition to, like, where you picked a winner, and then whoever picked a winner, that winner, they split whatever amount of doordash money evenly amongst the people. And I picked Argentina. So, like, now that Holland is out and Norway, like, I was rooting for them as, like a fan favorite. You know, he's just a character. But now that they're out of it, I'm like, okay, now he won't. Now I want Argentina because I want free food. There you go. Free food. And messy for life. I watched Spain and France yesterday, and my son, who's, you know, suddenly everybody's a little bit into soccer, but not really. Yeah, I've already admitted it's not my favorite thing. I. The quality of the yesterday was hard to ignore. And I know it's all good quality, but it just felt elevated. I enjoyed. I watched the whole game first. All the entire game. I'm so proud of you. I got back from vacation. That's why I do have this tan. You know, you get a tan on vacation. We went down to Folly beach Boys and Nicole and I had all six of us there. And we have the tech to get food delivered in 15 minutes. But we all have horror stories about buying tickets. The GameTime app gives fans the advantage. Get amazing tickets in just a few taps. Anyway, we got back, it was just, you know, vacation from. You got to have like a. A night of vacation from your vacation because I don't know what vacations you're going on. No, we weren't even like family vacation. But like, you get. I don't know, you're back in your own house. House, your bed. You've traveled all day to get home. Yeah. Are you a robot or something? Like, I think everyone else listening is going, yeah, I know what he means. I know I'm always tired when I get back from vacation, but yeah. And so plopped out on the couch with my jersey Mike sub shameless non sponsored plug and watched it from beginning to end. High quality. And Spain just looked, you know, dominant and them all look good. Didn't score at one. Oh, offsides. Don't get me started on all the, the little intricacies of soccer. I didn't realize if you beat the man down, you get penalized. Hmm. I know there's somebody's gonna, you know, hate Maomi, why that is, and I'm sure there is. But like, you can cherry pick in basketball, why can't you cherry pick in soccer? I didn't realize how many like, like slight offside rules there were. And yeah, I mean I've been learning a lot and it's, it's been fun and interesting and. I don't know, I, I'm kind of sad that the World cup is, is coming to an end. I think it brought the world together. Maybe. I'm not really, I'm not really like sad about it. I, I'm excited to watch the final, whoever it might be. I'm thinking Spain might take the cake, though. I think Spain is too. God, they look good. You got a lot of weapons, a lot of options. So that was fun. And we'll see what happens in the final, oddly enough. So, you know, Fanatics Fest is happening as we speak and this whole weekend they're actually releasing a football X football little jersey switch up where they're recreating NFL jerseys into soccer kit jerseys and they're released during Fanatics. I like that. Yeah. And to be honest, I'd probably rather wear soccer shirt than an NFL jersey. So if I've, I mean, yeah, yeah. I mean, that's more, you know, jersey's just kind of like, hey, I'm in a jersey and I've got a couple, but Nicole doesn't let me wear them. And it's probably a good thing. I don't know. You get it's the shirt that makes sense. I like that. And look, I was a, I was, I did both last year. They were a little more spread apart national and Fanatics Fest. But now, two weeks, I mean, you know, I know you can't plan, you know, tops. Fanax doesn't give a crap at the National's doing and they're going to do it when they want to do it. And it made sense and I'm sure there's a lot of people that will do both, but we had to choose one or the other. Yeah. We got a new store. We got a building team. We're doing things. And I'd love to be there, but I'd love to be there in September. You know, a little cooled off in New York but not two weeks before the national and billion other things going on. So maybe we'll have to do a separate business trip up to New York. Maybe I'm open next year. They give a little separation. Like. Yeah. I hope that the Fanatics doesn't decide to do this again because I don't think the Nationals date pretty much always in July. So I'm hoping Fanax Fest spaces it out. I know they're probably doing it because everybody's on summer vacation, so kids come. I know but like don't do it in June then maybe. I don't know. Yeah, they have some cool things going on though. They have. You know, LeBron James is going to be there. Serena Williams, David Beckham, Kevin Hart, Wemby, Aaron, Judge Brunson. I mean the list goes on. Yeah. I mean it's a true engagement event and activation. The national is all about is a gigantic large card show. Yeah. Like and it. They've. They've add entertainment and it's its own thing. They're very different. The Fanatics Fest was a ton of fun. It felt. And I've talked about it before so I don't. But it definitely feels like a who's who place card show. Feels like card show, baby. Like gigantic. Is Fanatics Fest more expensive to go to? Yeah, the tickets are a little higher. But it's a. It's reasonable. It's very reasonable. You can get in with a family of four. It's. It's 70, 50 to 150. Like different varied levels of tickets. You can get in affordably. Okay. So it's not. The national is a little. Is more affordable. But it's. But you also get more. You get at access to more freebie opportunities at the Fanatics Fest. You're, you know like when you walk around at a trade show or something but you get all the marketing things and free this and free that. So I think you get good value and I enjoyed it. Wow. Just really close. Almost scored there for that. England, Argentina. Argentina almost scored. Nice. Nice save here. Calling it in the background. Get live commentary. Live commentary. We should have faced you the other way so you wouldn't be describing. I'm a lady anyway. Hey has a. There's a shiny baller there being kicked around. I think what would be fun is one year we try to get you into the fanatics game which has 50 athletes, celebrities and etc and then 50 everyday fans. I might could play my way through that. I mean $2 million cash for first place, a Ferrari for second or a $250,000 messy trading card. I am a professional lawn game player. Like I, you know. You know my son did beat me in bocce. That was hard. I hadn't lost in bocce in like 10 years. Dang. And I got a 16 year old BB. Oh, it was tough. Bloated the ego. Blow the ego. But Clayton did it and, and he's got his dad's touch. I'll just say that. So somehow you still circle it back to you. Exactly. You know, you make yourself feel better as a dad. I guess. No, he's, he's good. We had fun though. And, but I would love some fanatics fest gaming with me and Wimby. Yeah, I, I, I think that that would be a fair matchup. His. No, he's on my team. Oh, oh, oh. Basketball or anything where you need height. And give me him and Aaron Judge and we'll take on all, all comers. Yeah, I fear that they probably, you know, wouldn't have that happen if $2 million is on the line. Well, we did get lucky a little bit. We got in our 4 1st PSA submission order from way back. Yeah. As a store from way back in February, first week in February, something like that. It's not that bad. I guess. Four months, five months. Yeah. They as of like last month they released that they have a 11 million colored backlog. So honestly it's really impressive that these are even sitting in front of us that they can. I was organized enough. Cole sent me a text right. Yesterday when we were getting back and I was like, we actually got surprised. So. Yeah, I just figured it would be like September. October. Yeah. Well, I opened it on camera, which was fun and did a little unboxing to see, see what we got. So I'll share the stats on my handy dandy little sticky note. Okay. Okay. Started off we have a Pokemon 20. 25 Volcanion Volcano. Yeah. PSA 9. So this is one of our nines 25 card. If a PSA 10 probably would have been around a hundred dollars. So. Yeah, but we're gonna get hate mail for those because that's exactly what Bonkers was talking about. All the Pokemon that gets sent in that, that, that filled the pipeline. Yeah. 10 million of them. Okay. Cole, before sending all of these in like, I mean he, no, I, the percentage he did Way better than average. Let's say that if I did this, we'd have seven sevens and four eights. Our second Pokemon, this one, we also got a 9. And this one is about $30 as a 9. PSA 10. Again, about $101 $25. So, you know, it was worth it if we got a 10. Yeah, it's worth that. That one. You. You kind of know what you're going for. You're. Hey, you might 5, 6, 7, 8x. And it worse. You. You spent. You get it. What this does, I want to give. It's a good point to make. I want to make this point. So some people might go, well, it's only worth 25, so it wasn't worth sending in. I actually disagree because it. It actually gives you the encasing it. It. There's a lot of fake cards in the market, so, you know, it's not fake. And so I still think, especially if you're a collector, this has a lot of value over and above maybe the abso point in the moment. That's my take on that. Yeah, no, I. I think that's a fair opinion. Number three, this is our last nine that we got. LeBron James, 20, 24, tops. Finest die cut. I think this card is just really awesome. I love that card. I pulled that card and was praying it was a 10, and I still love it because it's cool card. It's cool LeBron ever pulled. Yeah. 13 out of 150. Yeah. I don't know what it was worth. What did you jot down there? Um, it is worth $65, so, I mean. Yeah. Worth it. Yeah. Cause I think it's, like, three. I think it might have been several hundred if it was worth. That was definitely worth it. Cole was telling me that the lower numbers it gets. It gets more die cut. Yeah. And the colors get brighter. So I'd be curious, like, what a one out of, you know, 10 looks like. If we got a heat map, we'd know why again. I know. And I can probably guarantee you it's. It's something to do with the die kit. But we should. At the national. Ask NBA. Yeah. Baker. Ask Mike. He can tell us. I'm just curious. He'll immediately point to, like, some blemish that we didn't see. Yeah. I wonder, actually, if it's in. Like, he's secretly grading my hair when I'm sitting there like, Ryan's haircut's, like, eight and a half today. I'm like, damn it. I get a sticker at least. All right, now we're getting into. Into the tens. So, yeah, we have our 20, 24 select Damen Lillard card. I got a good story on this card. I talked about it on one of the very. Actually, very first episodes of the show, and it was at the national last year that I talked about it because I had interviewed Gio from sports card. Nonsense. Yep. I got this card from Gio. Really. So I was on his live feed, and we were doing some projects together at the time, and literally he's live selling his live selling field on ebay. And this card comes up and nobody's bidding on it. And I bid on it. I think I got it for like $8 or something. And it's, I think, raw. Like a 30 or 40 card. Yeah. But I was like, I'm gonna buy $8. Yeah. He's like, dude, you bid. You. You bought the clutch. He's like, you did. He kind of. He wasn't mad at all. He just kind of gave me, you know, that I bought it. And anyway, and I got a 10. So I'm going to have this, the national, to show Gio, and he's going to remember it. So, Gio, if you see this episode, you probably got better things to do coming up to Nashville. But if you were to see it, I'm going to bring this up to you. And you know what? I may just give it to him. I mean, good content, as long as we get the content. Yeah. That card, as a PSA 10 is about a hundred dollars. He will remember it because Gio's the guy that remembers things. And literally, I'm gonna go geo. Remember this guy? I bought it for $8 from you. And, hey, you over 12x. What is it worth now? A hundred dollars. Okay, so, but I like. I think this card is really sick. It's a tie dye. I think it has really. It's like one of the best things select does. Yeah. All right. 20, 25, Don Russ Optic, Ted McMillan. This was also a 10 auto. I. I mean, this is a clean. I didn't know that. That Cole had actually sent that one in. I wouldn't have the guts to. To know that an auto would actually grayed out that well. I don't know. I don't know if the audio auto was. I know I'm just about the card in general, and he nailed it. And it's a 10. Yeah. It's a beautiful card. That color matched, too, on the sides. Maybe that's the way the design is, but it. It pops Yep. That car. Blue ink, too. I mean, there's little details on this card that are really nice. Yeah, that card, PSA10,225, with a population of six. Wow. Yeah. So that's because people. A lot of people are like me. They're not brave enough to send this in. And that's beautiful card. Yeah. All right, big boy over here. 2024. Caleb Williams, Phoenix Phoenician. You know these came from the Phoenix Blaster. Yeah. That we. The boys and I pulled that or bought it. I can't remember. But I'll tell you this. Here's what I know. Cole and I went back and forth on this card. This is a hard one because it's a little. It's a thick card. It's thicker than most. And we went back and forth. I think we convinced ourselves seven times that we weren't going to send it. And then the eighth time, we finally said we're going to send it. Yep. And I got a 10. Yep. And it's a beautiful card, too. It's got some subtle detail. And I don't know, do you have the pop on that or did it not? I don't have the population. 300. Oh, it's gotta be more than that once the season starts. 3,000. If that's really all it's worth, I'm not selling it. I'm gonna keep that baby. I'm gonna have it walking around the National. And here's what I think. This card. If this card doesn't pull 500 at the National. No, I won't sell it. But I would be surprised if it wouldn't. I don't care what that comp says. I just think this is a $500 card at the National. And even then, I kind of. This should be $1,000. I mean, again, it might just be Caleb Williams. I want to see the pop. Maybe the pop's higher than I think. I don't know. But, yeah, I'm not sure. We have to look at the pop, but that's a beautiful card. I remember the boys when we got it. I just can't remember if we opened it or we bought it from a guy that opened, like, a box with us or something. Been long. We opened a lot of cards, but I think that one's cool. I mean, I've opened some of the. The Phoenix packs and gotten literally nothing. So it's pretty cool card. And our last one, our most expensive one as of what I comped, we have a 2023 Pokemon SVP Umbreon. And this one is 375. And we've actually already sold it. We have, Yep. All right, Rich, if you're listening, Rich claimed. Claimed the card. But I mean, I. We do buy. We do buy them to sell them, so, you know, we got to sell some of them or, you know, we won't stay open very long. Yeah. Yeah. So I think this one's really cool. It is cool. And this is my first time ever getting back a PSA submission, so it was fun. It was like, you know, Christmas Day. Exactly. We got another bigger one coming too. I hope We. Yeah. And that one has like 25 cards in it. Yeah, I think that's some customer cards in that one too. Yeah. Hopefully they did just as well. It's fun. Yeah. It is kind of like Christmas Day opening and they come back from psa, you're just like, hmm. But it is so funny how. How it determines the value. Well, that's what. So I posted a video of me unboxing it. And like, the. One of the comments was like. Because I. Not that I was disappointed when I got the first nine, but like, you know, there's a little set of disappointment. And the comment was like, it's crazy that, like, a mint condition card causes disappointment. And it's like, well, when the card is valued at $25 when it's a 9 and 1. $25 when it's a 10. Yeah. That's a big difference. I still think there's a spoof video out there for grading different things. Like, like, everything got graded. Yeah. You know, like in your life, everything you go to, like, you go to the grocery store, the checkout lady gets graded. The. Yeah. And I'm not your day on a PSA scale. Exactly. What else is cooking? Well, Wemby. Oh, thank God he got paid. I was really worried. He. He signed a five year, 252 million dollar contract, and believe it or not, this was a 25% discount. $50 million under. Because he wants to. How's he gonna pay for anything? I don't. I don't know. But he wants to help the spurs build, so give it a part. But, you know, I don't know. It's gonna hurt not getting that extra 50 mil. He'll make it up in the endorsements. I. At least. Yeah, at least. Yeah. So I. I don't think he's too. Too butthurt about it, but glad he'll be with the spurs for another five years. And I think that we'll only see him get better I do agree that it helps potential long term value of his cars because it'll be tied. His value will be tied. Performance will be tied to championships. Yeah. So got people around them and he gave it a better shot at his long term card value and you know I don't think he was necessarily thinking about his card value in his no ultimate decision. He's worried about his legacy and you know 22 I mean yeah he's got he's good. I think he'll be okay for a few years. That250 yeah have you been keeping track of any of the summer league? I haven't you know the World cup if if sports been on it's been that it's seemingly at our house with the kids and that's not as much as probably most people even but it's. I've caught the headlines AJ not surprising. Yeah 27 points in his Vegas debut. Yep. Pretty awesome. He's had but then so did Darren Patterson. Yeah so Darren Patterson had like 36 or some 30 plus in his debut so not surprising. They're both going to be really good and you know it's the summer league so let's temporary expectations. I mean they're still playing as really good players but it's not the NBA. Yeah it's I'd call the NBA light light we've had so for listeners I went to Furman University and we've had a couple couple basketball players make it to summer league. Yeah that's far as they've played a couple points and in the NBA but nothing. Oh f you nothing much Fast Granger knows when you're a procurement manager for an office park you're not managing one building, you're managing all of them. And to stay ahead you need to see through walls and around corners. Lights about to fail, filters ready to clog H Vac on its last leg. If you wait until something breaks, you're already behind. Count on Grainger for quality products, easy reordering and 247 support call 1-800-Grainger click grainger.com or just stop by Grainger for the ones who get it done. We also did have a pretty exciting poll in well it was bought in store. Yeah I guess they opened in the parking lot. I don't know. No the customer so we didn't have any top loaders for them to buy. We had run out of of top loaders and so Cole was like they were opening a tops chrome black. He was like I don't want you to be in store and get Something and not have a top loader. So the guy goes home, opens, opens it, gets a Travis Hunter $3,000 card. 101. 101. Yeah, yeah. Crazy. Out of tops come black. I guess it was super refractor. Had to be. So it's. And then he came back like 20 minutes later and he actually ironically didn't even have a top loader that fit it because it was like a little bit thicker and so it. Yeah, I think we had thick top loaders here. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So we. We were able to get a picture of it and it was a fun story, but I mean, yeah. $3,000 card. Yep. Can't beat that. Exactly. That might be for sale. Could sign it. Who knows if someone's big Travis Hunter fan. My kids love Jaguars. I love the Jaguars. But not a big one on one guy buying them hard to get a comp on. And I mean like demogronic Trevor, Josh Allen. Yeah, it's the right number, but it's really hard. You buy when you want to collect it. Yeah, it's not. Or if it's just somebody that's noted eyeing all time. Great. Yeah. Buying a freaking Brady 101. Sure. But like if it was the right number, it could go up. Yeah. It's speculative. While these guys are still rookies. Second year hadn't played out yet. He was injured at the beginning last year and look, he's a freak. He could be an all time great and I would bet more likely that he will. But it's tough buying one on ones. So I did open some. Some cards with the boys over the weekend. We didn't film the opening, which is, you know, cardinal sin, but you know, we're on vacation. Didn't want to get the camera. I'll give you a pass this time. But every other day and of course we hit, you know, all kinds of stuff. So Ryan at 10:30 last night sends me 15 pictures of these cards. And I'm like, there's just simply no way that you ripped all of these in four days. Yeah, well, it was only one night actually. We'd only open like five hobby boxes. I think like some card like fairy has like blessed you with maybe dust. It's it. Look, it goes in waves. You'll. You open 10 things and get absolutely cooked. And then you open 10, you think you're the luckiest person alive and it goes back and forth and you never know. I've definitely been on a heater more than not lately. I'll just say that maybe it's just like I haven't opened enough. You haven't opened enough. You gotta open like thousands of 500 boxes to live the pain and the glory. You know. Because everybody in the shop thinks that I have a golden touch. And let me tell you, I've opened way more and gotten absolutely cooked. Yeah. The dollar bins are proof that Brian has single handedly stocked these dollar bins. This is true. And I mean we'll have. I have more stockings. So if you're, if you're listening and you're in the area, come by the store. There's. They're going to be restocked even today because I've got a bunch in the box. We got at least 10,000 out. I will say I didn't get any dollar cards. It was like a lot of 5 and 10 cards. Like it. I'm truly hot right now. Cry me even with the crappy cards. But let me just tell you, two months ago it was the exact opposite. And I'm ready for the decline at any moment. I know how it goes. These are in descending. Yes. I, I do want to say. I'll start with. I mean let's start. We'll go big first. This was out of Cactus Jack. NBA Fun Rip. Let me just go ahead and tell you. This is like playing the Lotto 101 here. This is truly the scratch card of, of boxes. You have a high ceiling and a low floor. You can get $5 worth of cards or you can get $50,000 worth of cards. Luckily we were somewhere in the middle. Yeah. Was it a. Do you see a hobby box? Hobby box. Cactus Jack Basketball by Tops Fun Rip. Look, I'll say this. They're cool looking cards. I do have a, A mission. I, I won't say this is going to be definitive but I, I don't open as many as we used to. Like it might seem like we open a ton, but it's usually one night a week with all the boys I have could be every night. So one night a week. I think I'm done with retail. Why? I think it's all a hobby because we don't open enough. I think we're spoiled. I think we'd rather take the risk and get cooked than to open 10 boxes and get your best cards. Like you know, an attitude. 99. Yeah. Buddha Baker. You know, like, no offense Buddha, but it's like, you know, I think we're, we kind of. We just, we'd rather have it for the fun and we. More exciting. It's more exciting and the hits are better and everybody knows this, but I just think. I don't know. I think I'm over the. It's not because I'm too good for it. It's more that I just don't open that much. Yeah. And so when I do open, I kind of want the ceiling to be there. Yeah. So this Cooper flag reached the ceiling, or at least somewhere in the middle at a 99. Cooper flag. We'll do a better version of that on screen. But if you're watching, you need to be listening. If you're listening, you should be watching. Don't forget to, like, follow and subscribe on our YouTube channel and tell your friends. That's how this works. So if you enjoy the show, tell somebody. So Cooper flag on the parallel green. For lack of better word, someone's going to DM me with the exact name, but it's 30 something out of 99. 58. 78. I can't read it. 55 out of 99. That was brutal. Someone needs to go get their eyes checked again. I. They're bad. I mean, in all fairness, I don't think that they could have made the contrast on the. This card any darker if they tried. So I. I can't fully blame you. And I also don't really think that they could have chosen a more unflattering picture of him. But I digress. Yeah, there's some worse ones of him that. That would at least sound like, you know, is my biggest pet peeve. Like, if I had trading cards, I would have to approve every single photo. Well, that's not going to happen. I. Yeah, I know. Because I would be. I'd be like brides for cards. Yeah, exactly. It's like, guys are just like, all right, I'm there. It'll work. I get paid for it. You didn't say how much this one was. Yeah, it's about 700. Yeah. Some there. There were signs that it could be slightly less and a lot of signs that it could be slight, significantly more. So we settled there. I would say this. The comfortable range is 500 to 1200. Okay. So quite a range. 500 to somebody who doesn't care. And 1200. I think long term, it's a big card. I think the set being the Travis Scott Cactus Jack brand with him and his rookie season. Are you going to be trying to flip that one? That one? That one will be for sale on the higher end. Yeah. Come make me a unfair. I'll make you an unfair offer. I just want to get my unfair Share the I'm kidding. We'll go on latest comp plus 30%. 30% I'm just kidding sort of the I just like that card. Most cards I wouldn't be like that. That's a cool card. The other one if you're a Falcons fan this is for you. Three of the all time leading receivers for the Falcons. Triple auto I I didn't pull too many triple autos and this was Hogan pulled this one. I pulled that one. So I need to clarify this was you know the offer clan opened some version of these. I'll give credit where I remember, where I don't. I'll lean me the just like to make myself feel better and maybe it rubs off on the next box. We all know we get cooked. I get cooked, you get cooked. So but Holly boxes better better odds for not getting cooked. Well you at least lose the cost of the box. Maybe but not getting com like disappointed where you just get completely crushed seeing a number like a low numbered card. But these this is a fun rip. So this was Adapanini's last product. Silhouette football. If you can get any Silhouette hobby boxes that's a fun rip. For the price we had them here at collector station. I think we still got some. Yeah I liked those ones. And triple auto. Julio Jones, Roddy White and Andre Risen. 7 out of 10 and out of 10 triple auto. You don't get those every day. No, that's that. We guessed it made it around 300 to 500. We settled around 400 was a guesstimate. Just got pulled last night actually out of a retail box. I was just bumping on retail box Ibuka. I think this one's my favorite card that you pulled. This is out of signature football. Opened quite a bit of it. It was a blaster box and it's the acetate is the name of that one. It's see through. What a weird name. Don't ever call me an acetate. The acetate class something can't remember the name. It has a name class. I know it's signature class but I feel like this acetate it was a signature class too. I'll think of it by the time we finish anyway. Case hit or an SSP of some sort or SP got so many acronyms now. Short print. Super short print. But I just think I really like the kind of like clear see through ones. And I mean this one kind of gives like oil spill vibes. I just I think this one's my favorite one that you pulled recently right there in the Tampa Bay oil spills. The best name in football. Maybe Jay saying Yep, yep. We're talking saying from Ohio State. The Ohio State by the way. 10 out of 15. Yes, 10 out of 15. That's a jersey match out of silhouette. The same product. So J saying Julian saying that's a good looking card. You got the silhouette in the background. Yeah. No, I like that one. He's one of the. I would say top two. Him and Manning coming in next season. Yeah. Projected good Heisman candidate. Could be a gigantic card. I think it's around $100ish. I think for the right Ohio State fan maybe a thousand 10x we're gonna give you that Buckeye. I mean if he goes within the first five like a five top five draft pick and you know one of the highestmen or had just a big year has a lot of. A lot of upside there. Yeah. I don't think it actually has that much downside because the Ohio State quarterback and it's at a. It's a dumber match. Yeah. I feel like that's going to always be a $50 card. Yeah. But it could be 500 to 1500 or more depending. Ohio State has a killer year this year. Are you going to keep that one or that one's for sale? Any Ohio State player is likely for sale. Not because I just don't care about Ohio State. I just don't. I have no fandom there whatsoever. I roof actually, you know they're kind of like one of the blue bloods of college football. So it's like it's fun to watch them because they're always typically good. Clemson's had more luck than not luck against them but it's been a little a few years. So I think they had the best of us last time we played but this was out of signature football as well. This is a case hit first class. Kind of like the. The ticket ticket. I think that was Justin Jefferson. That was a. That was out of a blaster too. I've been knocking retail and I pulled those two out of but still that's like the first two I've hit out of blasters and I can remember. Yeah. And then tops chrome black football. We did open a hobby box of that fun rip 25 out of 25 got the book in Jalen Milroe don't think his market's been set yet and I think guessing around 100 ish is the guess but we'll see. This is a. This is a nice one. So Ashton Genty, you may have heard of best running back last year's draft had a decent season. 14 out of 14. I don't know what made him choose 14. I know. 14 out of 14. Auto Ashton Genti. Very cool looking parallel there. Yeah. And that one's going for about 300. Yeah, that's our guesstimate but we'll accept the offers. This one will definitely be for sale. The National. So are you gonna have the boys try to negotiate these or. Yeah, definitely. They. They get more than me. I get perceived as a, you know, scrummy white dude that's doing deals like the grimy dealer. Maybe not. Not really. I don't think I come off necessary that way. But I do. But I do. I'm not a kid. Yeah. You know, they can play both ways. They can try to think they're gonna get the deal in over the kids or. And most of them aren't that way anymore. Everybody knows what the fat. But I mean also you've. You've raised your sons to the point where they can handle themselves. I. I think they could handle themselves way better than I could handle myself trying to do. Well, they know the cards and they know the value so they're not going to get pushed over and you know, we'll give them some boundaries. We'll see. We might do a little video of. Yeah. See who can get the best value, the best trade out of something. So I've only seen his baseball cards. I haven't seen any of his. His football cards but we got a big box of like shoebox full of vintage cards and I. I saw my first Bo Jackson football card today so that's a cool card. All of his card. I mean greatest. One of the greatest athletes of all time. All star in baseball, all pro in football. Don't think it's ever been done. I think he's the only player ever and to be there's had crossovers but not to be all pro in both those sports. This is ridiculous. Ridiculous. I don't even think people recognize. It's kind of like you don't recognize how good Shohei is pitching and hitting at the level that he does like on another planet entirely. But Bo Jackson is greatest athlete of all time. Speaking of Ohtani, he. One of his cards just went for $3.365 million a 2018 Bowman Chrome Super Factor 1 of 1. Beckett 9.5. Wow. Yeah. That's crazy. Crazy. And before I forget it though, before I want to comment on that, I do want. Hey, leave a comment, let us know you saw this segment Tell us what you think. What do you want to see more of? Like, follow subscribe. Trying to do better about that. I'm gonna give away we Tops Chrome Black. I've got a Drake May base card. I think it's like 225 bucks. Not. Not nothing to scoff at or a base card. Yeah, base card, something. It might be less than that. I don't know. But if you're a Drake May fan, it's cool. Tired of the new Topps Chrome Black. So don't quote me on that value. It could be anywhere. I'm guessing 10 to 25. They always start high and go low with new sets, so we'll see either way. Drake May 2nd year. Here's where we get interesting. So. And I think Brian. Brian would approve of this. I did have two of these Ken Griffey Jr. Cards from the storage unit. Storage unit. And so one of these 90s inserts. This is approaching a hundred dollars, and it is a Ken Griffey Jr. We're gonna put these in. We'll see how many people we get. Yep. We'll put them in a pot. We'll draw. And this is a tops insert. What year was this? Is it 92 or 93? And for context, if you're new here, Brian Ludden, CEO of LEDX, normally joins us. And he has a huge storage unit that he bought off a woman whose husband had sadly passed and she didn't know what to do with the collection. So they paid a pretty penny and got his whole collection. And Ryan got to go look through it. Yeah, he may let me have a couple of cards. So we'll spread the love around. I have a second one that's a cool card. If you're older, you'll appreciate that. If you're younger, you should. But hey, last but not least, okay, that Cactus Jack product, the base cards are pretty high. These are all right from 30 to 50, 30 to 60, depending on what you look at maybe coming down. So again, don't quote me. They're free. We're giving them away. I've got a Wimby and a Cooper flag. So out of that Tops, Cactus Jack Basketball, we'll put those four in and we'll throw in some. Some extra cards from our value bins. Exactly. Even further, sweeten the pot. Maybe one of our. One each of our tops now. You never know. So want to hear from you. We want to incentivize you and we want to make the show better. I actually. So a couple weeks ago, when we had told people to DM you on it. Yeah, uh, one of the people DM'd our card shop account. Um, and so I was messaging back with them and he was like, I've been listening to your show from the very beginning. Love it. Uh, and it really warmed my heart. It made me happy that, yeah, you know, you know people are listening. Exactly. It's, it's, you know, with radio, talk radio, you have call people call in, you see people in your local market. Podcasting is a weird thing because like even my business show, which is popular, you know, you don't know, you get comments here and there, but a lot of people just listen, they're enjoying it. But you don't have dialogue or have any real feedback loops. So it's fun when you get that feedback. So, so if you DM the card shop store, I will, I, I manage the Instagram, the TikTok. So I will answer you and it will make me really happy and we'll start doing more giveaways. This is popular and gets people engaged and wanting to drop. You know, we know we gotta, hey look, time is money and so we want your feedback and for yours, for the share of your time and listening and giving us feedback and going and being really nice about everything. Yep, we'll give you cards. No, be honest, like what can we do more or less of? I know you'll probably enjoy more openings and seeing different things, but there's probably some other things and we'd be changing the format with new app coming out. Got some things up our sleeves, so. Oh, speaking of new app, final thought before we head out here. Yeah. If you are a hobby content creator in any, whether that's TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, whatnot, we are launching the Collector Nation app that is going to be the one stop shop for all things hobby. So you know you can go on Tik Tok and there's a million different things that people could be interested in. But this is going to be the one stop place for all things hobby so you'll get more eyes on your content non exclusive and you don't have to do any extra work because we can pull all the content from where you're already posting. So it's actually just another way to get your name out there. So if you're interested and you're a creator in the hobby and DM us either DM the store page, collector station or drop a link too. Yeah, we'll have a link to where you can sign up for that. The link will be in the description. But we really hope that more creators join and there will be monetization happening in the future. So, yeah, that will be on. You know, we'll have it on day one. We just, you know, again, we got to grow this thing, got to have eyeballs and ultimately you don't lose anything if you got sponsorships, it's no different. Think of us as another version of TikTok or YouTube. But it's the collector version. Yep. So. And if you're going to be at the national, come say hi to us. We can talk to you about it or, you know, just chat and grab a beer. Exactly. And maybe some freebies. We'll be handing out a few different things and you never know. I'll have a mom bag shoved with, you know, all the giveaways. I'm going to have a lot of cars to hand out. So just come say hi and for sure sign up for that. It's just again, no competition with other platforms, no, you know, conflicts. This is just somewhere to get seen and heard. And aggregating some of the best voices, best news. We got other things that even Bella doesn't know about. Coming for the the app yet. I believe it. You're always cooking up something. So. Yes, but Collector Nation app not live yet if you are in the market for downloading the app. But it will be within the next two. Two weeks probably. Yeah, it's soon. Coming soon. Right at the National.
