This is something that that many of you heard me talk to Lucy Yang from ebay about in our national recap a couple of weeks ago. So I want to give you guys an update on that. I also have a big time suggestion for ebay to improve and I'd like to know your thoughts on that potentially. We'll see. So I'm going to throw that out your way and you can, you can hit me up and let me know your thoughts that@pauloffseason.com or if you're watching at YouTube.com PaulHickey you can always drop a comment there as well. I guess I'll be 45 this weekend and you know, 45, I don't know. To some of you, that's old. To some of you that's young. I feel young. I think I'm young, but I guess since I operate in my email, maybe that's an old person thing. I don't know. Lefty calls me a boomer, but I mean, that's obviously inaccurate. If you look up the definition of a boomer, I'm not even close. So hobby Flipper improvements. I want to report on that. A new top PSA 2 BGS Blue Ice well as my play of the week. They're two separate plays. So like I said, I'm help here to help you make money flipping sports cards. So I'll report on that and then I want to have some real Talk about the nooffseason.com Premium member Discord. We've gotten some feedback on that and I want to let you know at the end of today's show, kind of some plans that I have to improve that. So let's get into it. But look, that's why I say it's, it's, it's best to join annually or if you want to join monthly, make the commitment to yourself that you're going to be in long term because it is a long term patience game. It's not a get rich quick situation. Start your dynasty today using code no off season for 20% off your first slab dynasty purchase. And if you're confused by my earlier statement about or a 0% marketplace fee, that is if you are a no offseason.com member. All right, I want to report quickly on some wins. Fernando Mendoza F Men Card was a card that Lefty and I talked about last week in our time to sell your football cards episode and I got some sales to the report as of last week. In last week's episode I had sold three PSA nines for a significant profit. My PSA 10s. The auctions ended for those last week. Sorry, the auctions ended last night and that's why I'm reporting on them today. And I did not have the data last week. I did pay for the PSA value max grading service level back in May. So if you're wondering like how the Does Paul have his cards back from PSA already? It's not because I'm Paul Hickey. It's because. It's definitely not because I'm Paul Hickey. It's because I paid a little bit more. So what I did in Hobby Flipper in my portfolio was I put a PSA value max grading fee of 40 $45 in there, purchase price of 9.99 because that's how much they were per card. And the auctions ended at. Oh man, my screenshot's really small here. Hold on one second. My auctions ended at. God, let me just look at my Hobby Flipper portfolio. I don't know why I'm looking in the show notes for this. So one of the auctions ended at 325.54 was the sale price. The other auction ended at 357.95. And then in Hobby Flipper, what I do is I put the ebay transaction fees. So for the 357.95 card, eBay transaction fees were $43.09. And then the shipping label, which I insured for the entire value of the card was 1111. Make a wish. And then I got total net Profit on the first PSA 10 of $248.76. Total ROI percentage of 227.82%. So that is outstanding marked as a flip in my Hobby Flipper portfolio, which you can see on hobbyflipper.com in the Hobby Flipper rankings. And Mendoza, the second card sold for 325.54. That is the total collected minus the sales tax of 22.71, minus the transaction fees of 3,922, minus the shipping label of 996 to fully insure the card, minus the PSA value max grading fee of $45 and of course the card purchase price of 999. My total net profit on the second Mendoza PSA 10, which ended last night, Sunday, August 16, in an auction. Total net profit on the second one, $198.66. Total ROI 156.57%. Marked as a flip in my Hobby Flipper portfolio and boom. My total net profit for 2026 is $15,383.60. That's a 42.12% over 77 flips. So my total revenue collected $51,907.91 off of a total cost of $36,524.31. My wife is very happy, my kids are very proud, and I am in the top five. Well, let's see the flipper rankings. I'm number three. Top flippers in 2026. Tim S. Is ahead of me and Brian K is ahead of him. Brian h is number four, Rose Bros. Number five, Sci Brady number six, John A. Number seven, Zach E. Number eight, Heston number nine and East End number ten. Our guy Lefty is number 14. And you know those tiny back to school emergencies that somehow become your problem? That's why I love Ubere. You can order school supplies, snacks and lunchbox essentials for $5 or less. So when your kid casually drops, I don't like peanut butter anymore or I need five green highlighters for a project due tomorrow, Uber Eats has you covered. Get everything you need for back to school today from your favorite brands like Aldi and Staples. And Uber Eats order now ends 97, $5 or less before taxes and fees. Select items only. Availability varies. See app for details. Chevy is called the heartbeat of America for a reason. With SUVs, move with your rhythm. The versatile Equinox tackles your entire day. The spacious traverse fits your crew and your whole weekend. And tracks bring style with value you can count on, all infused with tech that has your back. So your drive always hits the right chord. Chevrolet together. Let's drive. You know, just that's in the last year, the last 30 days, I'm number four and lefty is number 13. So get in, get in and compete against us@ Hobby Flipper.com if you haven't already. All right, so that's my F men auction results. And what I really want to emphasize here is that, I mean, it's all timing. It's all timing. And in last week's episode, we talked about the fact that, you know, this is football card selling season. But I've had some questions and I'm going to answer them on this week's premium podcast. They're from premium members and they're about specifically like, hey, I heard this, I heard that about, you know, football from some other content creators on like, maybe it's not football card selling season. Let me just say this. It always it depends on the card and, and that and, and how much you paid for the card. It depends not only on the player, but the specific card of the player. It depends on the card. It depends when you bought the card. Man, timing is everything. When did you buy the card? How much did you pay for the card? What is the card worth now? And that's why the Hobby Flipper portfolio with the Sell Alerts is the best way to put yourself in a position to understand when you should list your cards and when you should flip them to auctions. And so the blanket statement of its football card selling season doesn't mean to go blindly list all of your cards. But when you've got a card like the Fernando Mendoza or even the Ty Simpsons that are coming back graded from the NFL draft tops now cards, you're in a situation where timing is critical to get those listed. Because if you don't get those listed, they're going to be superseded soon by other cards for those players. When Fanatics and top starts releasing rookie cards that aren't the tops now cards, they're going to be superseded. And I wouldn't put it past Fanatics to have a release early on in the NFL season. So, you know, what's kind of concerning about that is I still don't have my 20 card submission from SGC back yet. Those were submitted at the same time as the psa. I've got the BGS and the PSA already back. They've both done very well. Now I did pay additional to get the quicker turnaround time for both BGS and PSA at the time. So that could be why my SGC submission is lagging. But we're, we're at the point where I'm about 60 to 70 business days from having submitted my SGC submission. And as I look at SGC as go SGC.com it's now saying they just kind of snuck this in on us. It's a 75 day plus turnaround time and it wasn't when I submitted those cards. So still don't have them back from sgc. Lot of ambiguity going, going on in the grading circles right now. And so I want to segue into more of a deep dive into that topic. Last week with Lefty, we talked about Beckett pausing their submissions and what that means. And we talked about how they expect to reopen the base and the standard levels on September 15th. Today's Monday, August 17th as we talk through this strategy. So in last week's show I kind of said, look, you know, you could still submit BGS Express, but that doesn't make as much sense because you're paying the same amount as PSA Regular for essentially the same turnaround time and you've got greater upside in the PSA unless you're trying to submit a PSA 9 cracked out to BGS and you want to submit to BGS regardless of the upside for psa. The other thing too is like, you know, our card analyzer and Predictor tool@nooffseason.com for premium members has started to identify a lot of situations where a card looks like it could gem at BGS but not PSA. And that's because of the 9 5. I mean when you can look at a card and analyze it and see that, you know, it's, it's got, it's Flawless except for like it's off centered by PSA standards and it could likely get a 9 centering at BGS or something like that, right? Like maybe there's a small surface issue but everything else looks pristine or whatever it may be. Those Topps of situations could lend our card analyzer and predictor tool to say you should send this raw card to bgs. So in those cases, there are some situations where we're like, hey look, BGS Express makes sense for this raw to grade. But one-of-one there is another solution. In last week's show we talked about CGC still being good sgc, although SGC seems to be falling way behind. Their value proposition was more of a quick turnaround time and they are, you know, 75 plus. The only reason why we've ever said use SGC is because of the quick turnaround time. And now that has kind of been eerily swept under the rug on all of us as like 75 plus business days all of a sudden when we've already submitted a card and now it's taking longer. So I don't really love what's happening over at sgc. That's not to say don't use them in particular situations, but MBA, we've had some premium members@nooffseason.com submit to get some NBA slabs. And I know some of you may be skeptical of that and I understand why, but I do think it's a worthwhile experiment given the cost and given the turnaround time to try NBA because it's, it's, it's got the brand recognition of the, the sticker that has added a lot of value to PSA 10s or even PSA Nines or BGS 9 fives based on the Yu-Gi-Oh appeal and it's got the reputation of Mike Baker having been like supposedly the first PSA employee ever. So with NBA I think it's a worthwhile experiment, especially when SGC is taking so long, especially when CGC slabs still quite aren't quite selling for what they probably should be selling for. I think like CGC obviously is a legitimate grading company, but the secondary market still hasn't begun to recognize their value just yet. So I think this NBA experiment is worth it. And so I applaud any no offseason.com member who is utilizing our MBA grading services with us. But I want to go another I want to go a big step further. I want to go a big step further right now. I believe based on some hard work research conversations that I've had since pre national that we have had one of our listeners who reached out to us before the national and then met with us during the national and has worked hand in hand with me to help me understand specifically what they're doing. I believe that we have a solution now via a partnership for two things. Number one, a grading solution that you can get within a month that's going to increase the value of your cards. Okay. So that, that should be something that everyone perks up listening to. Now I just talked about MBA and that's a pretty similar solution, but there is an even less expensive solution out there and I'm going to tell you what it is in a second and I'm going to bring in the owner, the founder of this company to talk about it as well. And I've talked to him several times at length, even in person at the national and he has alleviated all of my concerns about new grading companies, all the BS that's out there and, and they have put something together that I believe is very, very intriguing. Intriguing enough for me to partner with them for not only no offseason.com premium members, but also all of you listeners of the sports card strategy show that may not be premium members of Nooffseason.com to take advantage of this partnership that is only being offered currently through through no offseason.com and what I'm talking about now you can go to them directly but you're going to pay more. It might take longer but because this company who I'm about to talk about has partnered with no offseason.com they are offering sports card strategy show listeners and no offseason.com members. Some sweet deals here. Okay? So not only is this a end to end solution, meaning you submit raw cards and they come back with a grade that will increase their value on the secondary market. Not as much as A CGC pristine 10, not as much as an SGC 10, not as much as a Mike Baker 10, not as definitely not as much as a BGS 95 or a PSA 10, but definitely more than a raw card, making it worth it. Okay? And so that's one, one advantage of using them, the other advantage of using them is when they send you back your card. And it's going to take a minute to kind of get through all of this because there's, there's some levels to it. When they send you back your card, it is graded, but it is in a penny sleeve and a card saver with a sticker on it that denotes the grade range that it got. Okay, let me pause here and let me tell you that the. I've been told by the owner of this company, who I'm about to bring on the show in a minute, that the graders for this company are former professional graders at the other major grading companies. So I don't want to, I don't want to say anything that's inaccurate, but my understanding, based on my face to face conversation at the national with the representative of this company is that he was a employee at, he will refer to it as. CCG Certified Collectibles Group. But we, we have always referred to it on this show as cgc, but it is essentially the same. It's the same company. CGC Cards is the grading company for sports cards. And CCG is the parent company that oversees not only the sports card grading, but also like the comics, the coins, all the other collectibles, the TCG cards and everything like that. So he was one of the first employees and, and for a long time was an employee of ccg. He's worked with other grading companies. He's worked in the hobby for a long time. He has a good hobby reputation. And not only that, but he has told me that the greater, when I specifically asked him face to face at the national, who are your graders? Okay, we all, we alt art hoping to hear that, that the answer is former PSA graders, former CGC graders, former BGS graders. That was essentially the answer. I'm paraphrasing that I walked away with my understanding. So those two facts, the facts that this gentleman worked and he told me he worked with our guy, Andy Broom at CGC Cards and he told me that he vouched for the greater resumes. Right? Of course, it's his own grading company, but you know, he's, he's talking to me. He knows what's up. That made me feel like, okay, this is somebody that I need to talk to further. I need to continue along these lines to figure out if I can in fact, come on the sports card strategy show and recommend this to the family and give no offseason.com members a sweet deal. All right, so let's get into more of the value proposition here. So you heard me say a minute ago that your cards will come back in a penny sleeve and card saver. Now why is that a good thing? Well, it's a good thing because this can be, this can be used as a pre grade solution. And the reason I think that that's the a, the fact that currently we're waiting several months for even a value submission to either reopen or we're waiting several months to get cards back or we're overpaying to get cards back quicker. Now is the best time ever. There's never been a better time for, for, for no offseason.com and the sports card strategy show to partner with this company. And the company is called. Many of you are probably like F. Paul, just tell us what the company's called. It's called GCC Grading. Okay. GCC grading. Never been a better time for us to partner with GCC grading because it solves many issues. You can now increase the value of a raw card and get it back. I'm gonna say 21 business days because that's what I've been told and I trust that. Okay. Now it may take a little bit longer than that because obviously there's shipping times involved and things like that. But we're not dealing with a situation with this company where they receive it or it arrives at their location. Now all of a sudden, it waits in a backlog for several weeks before it actually gets into a queue of some sort of. We're dealing with a situation where, Yu-Gi-Oh it may take a few extra business days, but that's it. Because it's going to be right into a grader's hands and then it's going to be graded not encapsulated. I think that's another important thing. Chad Hawk is the gentleman that will join us in a moment. When I bring, when I bring in Chad, he's the, he's the gentleman that I've been referring to with, with his resume and things like that. It's not encapsulated. Right. So when I met Chad face to face at the national and he and I talked for like almost a couple hours. And he made the point like, look, we can do this quicker because we're not encapsulating our cards. And that made so much sense to me. If you think about why things in grading take so long to get back, it's because a lot of it's because of the QA process and the assembly process, right? My understanding from talking to people like Chad, and I'm not quoting Chad, but I know I've talked to, I have relationships with graders, right? You know, those tiny back to school emergencies that somehow become your problem. That's why I love Uber Eats. You can order school supplies, snacks and lunchbox essentials for $5 or less. So when your kid casually drops I don't like peanut butter anymore or I need five green highlighters for project due tomorrow, Uber Eats has you covered. Get everything you need for back to school today from your favorite brands like Aldi and Staples on Ubereats. Order now ends 97 $5 or less before taxes and fees. Select items only. Availability varies. See app for details. Chevy is called the heartbeat of America for a reason. With SUVs made to move with your rhythm, the versatile Equinox tackles your entire day. The spacious traverse fits your crew and your whole weekend. And tracks bring style with value you can count on, all infused with tech that has your back. So your drive always hits the right chord. Chevrolet together, let's drive. When I talk to these people, the impression I get with the information they can give me is what takes so long is not the grading of the card. Like my understanding is that a professional grader is trained to grade a card relatively quickly. Okay, but it's all the other steps. It's first of all the receiving and the backlog. Right. Getting it into the graders hands takes forever at the major grading companies because of the demand people sending in cards for grading and we want people to continue to make no mistake about this, we want people to continue to submit cards for grading. That's a good thing. Everything that's happening right now with the grading companies scaling up and the announcements that we've had over the last several months, those are all positive things. Even the, even the pauses. The pauses I think have scared people away. I know the pauses have scared people away because they've emailed me, right? Some of you have emailed me, some of you have left no offseason.com strictly for the you've said I love no offseason dot com. I don't want to leave, but there's nothing I can do now. Well, that's not true. That is definitely not true. We've given you a lot of different options for grading your cards. Now we're giving you another one, and it's through this gcc. So here's how this is going to work. Okay? There's two different options for you. The simplest option is if you want to grade your cards with gcc, you get a huge discount and a faster turnaround time if you go to nooffseason.com pre grade. Now, Chad, don't kill me for using the word pre grade in the URL here, but if you go to nooffseason.com pre grade, any of you, any of you, whether you're a premium member or not, submit your cards there and you'll see, you'll see how much it costs and you'll see like, that it's very, very affordable. And then the way that it works is you're going to get one, one of the several different potential grades, quote, unquote. Okay? And the reason I say this is because it's, it's a little bit different than like the, the slabbing situation. Okay, so what, what we're all hoping for is called a black gem. This, this would be equivalent to a. A gem mint card, essentially like a. A 10 or a 9, 5 and a gem mint situation. So GCC calls it the black gem. They say it's mint condition and it's either a 10 or a 9, 5. So they define this as a Flawless card with perfect centering, sharp corners, vibrant colors and a pristine surface. The ultimate example of condition. So now there's not many ebay listings or sales data. I used our card analyzer and predictor tool before the show to try to pull up some actual sales data. And I'll just tell you this. There's nothing. There's not much. But we know that this is a new company and we know they've been around for a little over a year. They haven't been grading cards for that long. But we know that with the reputation of the graders and the reputation of the ownership group and the people that I'm working directly with, we trust that over time, as more and more of these hit the market, as GCC grades more cards, sales on ebay for these black gem stickered or gold stickered or green stickered or maybe even silver stickered, we'll talk about the other levels in a second. Will will potentially sell for significantly more than raw cards. Now, gold is near mint to mint. So it's a 7 or above, but it's not a 10 or a 9 5. So I would say like, I mean it'd be interesting to see. I know Chad's kind of explained this to me, but I. So I would say that that is a. Somewhere between a 7 and a 9. All right, so the gold sticker is like a 7 and a 9 and not necessarily just for PSA, but this is spread across all the major grading companies. Right. Green would be the next level down. That would be a four to a six. And then silver would be a one, two, a three. So if you look at the pre grade page@nooffseason.com if you go to nooffseason.com pre gr like you essentially see the cart. I think it's smart. The cards that they're using, right. For the black gem they've got a show he Otani 2018. For the gold they've got a John Stockton 1988 FLIR. For the green they've got a James Worthy 1986 FLIR. And for the silver they've got a Jim McCarver or sorry, Tim McCarver, not Jim McCarthy Tim McCarver. I actually don't like Tim McCarver because he, he as an announcer in the World Series when Deion Sanders was playing both baseball and football on the same day. Tim McCarver I think kind of slandered Deion Sanders a little bit. And I don't really like looking back at that. I don't really like that. But one-of-one I digress. Tim McCarver is the silver example, good to fair one to three. And I think that that's smart that that Chad and his group have done this at GCC because it's basically what it's telling you is like they're basically saying like we know that a 1 to 3 of an ultra modern card is not going to sell for more than a raw version of that card. But ha. But again there's authentication to this. So that's, that's the other value proposition is you, you. They, they authenticate. They have, they have the technology and the experience to also authenticate. So you're getting if you're sending us an older, more vintage card that's frequently faked and I asked Chad this face to face, I was like say a frequently faked card, whether it's like the Trout rookie or whether it's the Kobe rookie or whether it's the Jordan rookie or a Jackie Robinson rookie, those would be frequently faked cards. Right. So do you authenticate and guarantee the authentication? And Chad said absolutely, like without missing a beat. So approximate 21 day turnaround time cost is $12 a card. No minimum. I think that's a big thing. No minimum. Going through, no offseason.com, no return shipping fee. And that, that's huge because if, when you submit your cards to any grading company, and we're very detail oriented here on the sports card strategy show, we look at all the fees. You heard me, you heard the rundown of my Fernando Mendoza sales. And if it's the first time listening to the show, you might have been like, Yu-Gi-Oh this guy is listing out all of the fees. And if you're a longtime listener, you're like, yep, that's what Paul does. I mean, he's very detail oriented in terms of how you're actually making money, what's the actual sales price of a card and what fees you need to keep in mind. And one thing we talk about often, Lefty and I both and anyone else who's ever been on the show, we've talked about the fact that the return shipping fee is a thing. I mean, if you, if you submit five cards to any grading company or one card or 40 cards, you're paying like 20 to $40 additional to have that shipped back to you. So if you're doing this through nooffseason.com pre grade, you're not going to pay a return shipping fee. The other thing is we'll crack the slabs from other grading companies for you and then we'll also, you have the option to have a seller consign the cards for you. So we're giving you a lot of options. Now the other level to this, that I think is very important. So that was for you, Chad and I, but I agree, like, I'm not just saying, I'm not just saying it was for Chad, but Chad texted me and he wanted to make sure that I, that I emphasized not, I mean, I think it's, it's obvious, but he wanted me to emphasize, and I agree with him, the fact that this isn't just a pre grade solution. This can be an actual solution. So to be able to sell the cards with the black gem sticker, I mean, they should in a way become the Mike Baker sticker Yu-Gi-Oh appeal sticker of a graded card. Right. They should up the value of raw cards. We'll see if they in fact do that. That'll be something that we track. But our hypothesis is that over time this will absolutely be the case. The other, I think the other so, so that, so if we just kind of recap the first part, right. The reason I like this and I'm clearly excited to be telling all of you about it, I've been thinking about it for the last few weeks, planning as to when it would be a good time to. To launch this on the show and everything. And it's not just a promotional partnership. It's like, I am gen you. Hopefully. You're like, Yu-Gi-Oh this guy's. Is this a infomercial? No, this guy's actually excited to tell you about this strategy. It's because, again, like, the other options are starting to dry up and we're having to become really, really patient. And so that's why this is perfect for Chad, Chad Hawk to come in and be like, hey, Paul, what about this? Because, you know, you can send us your raw cards and you can get a grade on a sticker in a card saver and then you can either sell it quicker or you can submit it to another grading company because it's in a card saver. All you would have to do, you'd have to take the GCC sticker off, which is fine, but it's already in a card saver. So here's the other. I think the other benefit to this is that you're getting. Well, actually, one thing I wanted to say before I forget is some of the cards would come. So there's the four grading tiers, but then some of the car. Some of the cards one-of-one come back graded. And the reason why they can do. I think part of the reason why they can be so efficient and they can be very like turnkey with their operations is because anything less than that silver tier, they're not going to put a sticker on it. They're going to essentially send it back in its original, like in originally what you sent it in. And basically what they're saying there is, we took the time to grade this, but it's not going to be a card that's worth grading at another grading company. And it's not going to be a card that's worth necessarily you investing in more or us investing more of your money or time into. So that's. I think their business model lends itself to efficiency in that we've talked about what they return the card to you in, the way that they grade the card, the way that they don't encapsulate the card, the fact that there's no backlog because they're new. And I think that's obviously, you know, you could easily say, well, they're new, so maybe they're not, maybe they're not legit. I mean, okay, sure, you could always make that argument, but I'm, I'm here to tell you, based on my due diligence, I feel like we should give this a try. And so that's why again, @nooffseason.com pre grade you can try it. The other thing for no offseason.com premium members is. We are now including this GCC pre grading service for anyone who submits a card through our grading services for Premium members@noallseason.com and I think so if you think about what this does to some timing, it's actually perfect for the BGS pause because like we there's about, I don't know, 15 to 21 business days between now and BGS reopening. But we all but if you think about it, even when BGS reopens, there's going to be a situation where it's going to take them a while to get cards into the grading queue. And what I've heard, and I think I alluded to this on last week's episode with Lefty, is that a source at the national told me that they believe PSA will reopen the value tiers as early as January 2027, which is not that far away. So for any cards that you're that you were thinking of submitting through, like BGS base BGS standard PSA value, us giving this essentially for free to no offseason.com premium members to get this GCC pre grade now puts you in a situation where you can either sell it raw, I guess not raw, but graded by GCC or you have it now you have a pre grade to make a decision on whether or not you want to continue the play through BGS or PSA or or one of the other grading companies. But I think it makes the most sense to just say look, everyone atnooffseason.com now gets this when they submit a card for grading. It just makes the most sense because even if you I think like when I first I for those of you who are new and even for those of you who aren't new to the sports card strategy show, I I'll give you a little bit of a window into the grading service@nooffseason.com for Premium members. All right, it's not a money maker for me, it's not a money maker for no offseason.com it's an addition. It's an additional benefit to our premium members because a lot of people the Majority of people who re enter the hobby and like most of you are middle aged men. Most of you are based on the show demographics. Some of you of course are middle aged women and we love you too. But most of you are middle aged. All right? And so the reality is like most of you collected as a kid, took a hiatus, are getting back in the hobby. But as you're getting back in the hobby, there's a lot that's like intimidating, right? I one-of-one bore you with all that's intimidating, but we have sports card school as a solution for that. But one of the things that's intimidating is grading or cracking slabs. So that's why I started the grading services for premium members is to make it a little bit frictionless for people who don't really want to have to deal with the ambiguity or the, you know, the, the mist. Mystification of the mystery. I don't think mystification is a, is a word. Demystification is a word. But I want to demystify the mystery for you of grading by just basically helping you do it right. So that's why now since 2024, we've graded an average of about 300 cards per month for premium members. So many of you, like, especially if you run a grading service, you're like, oh, that's nothing. But when you have like around 500 premium members like we do, and you're submitting 300 cards a month, it's significant enough to be like, okay, look, we haven't been able to necessarily actually pre grade cards, but now we can with this partnership. So that's where I was going with that. So I'm excited about that. And it's by professionals. So without further ado, I asked Chad Hawk of GCC to join us on the show and, and he's going to talk for about four to five minutes. I asked him the following questions. Chad, tell us about your professional background, Tell us about the background of your graders, explain your business model and explain your value proposition. So now we welcome in Chad Hawk to the sports card strategy show. You know those tiny back to school emergencies that somehow become your problem. That's why I love Uber Eats. And tracks bring style with value you can count on, all infused with tech that has your back. So your drive always hits the right chord. Chevrolet Together, let's drive. Hi everybody, I'm Chad Hawk from Global Collectibles Consulting and here to answer some questions for Paul Hickey@nooffseason.com first of all, I'd like to thank you all for what you do and the information and everything that's going on is just fantastic. Especially at this time. We've got lots of activity going on in the grading world, lots of interesting developments as we all know. So that's why I'm here to answer some questions to give you some background information and answer a little bit about what GCC is doing to help refer restore some answers and solutions in areas that we really haven't haven't been able to do much with. I was able to speak with Paul and this is going to give you a little bit of enhancement on those answers. So first of all, I'll give you a little bit of background to myself. I was vice president at CCG with PMG, was there for over 20 years working professionally grading with grading teams, not just with banknotes but across the board as sports cards and other things were developed. I was a big consultant there and I've always been a huge, huge collectible fan myself, starting with sports cards going back when I was a kid, big baseball fan of course. So that's where I got my start, where I've been and how GCC came about with my development. Our grading team is built of the same fabric. We've all worked with it, the professional groups, we've worked on both sides. We understand how grading works professionally, how it can affect dealers, how it can affect collectors. So that's a big part of our team, is making sure that everybody has that same background and affiliate. And with me spearheading it with the experience that I have and working with the connections in the collectibles world, it brings a trust in experience product to you where we're looking to add value by giving you an affordable product that can serve cards in the raw soft slab area where you really haven't had a chance to capitalize before. And as grading companies elevate their submission rates, narrowing the gap for your cost effective profit margins. We want to bring you a product that focuses directly on that, not distracted by tcg, distracted by other things. We want to narrow that lane to focus specifically on the raw group of cards that are facing a lot of problems these days. So what GCC does is we bring that value by adding significant, significant expertise behind it with an affordable submission rate so you're able to submit cards. And the best part in a very, very viable turnaround time to capitalize on those hype bubbles. We're entering the end of baseball season and the beginning of NFL, so we want to be able to make sure that cards that we grade or pull are going to get back in time so that we can make the money that we want to make, serve the collectors that we want to serve and keep that movement going. So that's what GCC is out to do and that's our business model. And by giving you that value in profitability, affordability, turnaround times and expertise, you have everything that you need with the focus that you need in the area that you need. GCC is proud to represent this. We've worked hard on this for many years. This is not a recent development. This is something that we've put a lot of work and study into. And so as you discover the Black Gem and the GCC gold, you will find that not only do those grades serve you very well, but for vintage, your green and your silver are going to put these cards in vessels that really haven't been there before. So we encourage you to ask questions and engage with us and we welcome you to our community. So thank you Paul for all that you're doing to bring us into this and this conversation as it's very necessary, especially now and we look forward for what's to come. Thank you very much. Yu-Gi-Oh I think this is again, Chad, hit on it at the end. I think this is perfect timing for this. So thanks again, Chad for joining us on the show. Just another quick recap. If you're a no offseason.com member, it's free. We're now offering a pre grading service via a partnership with GCC Grading and we believe it's beneficial to you for the following several reasons. One, get a reliable authentication and pre grade from professional graders with backgrounds at the major grading companies including PSA and cgc. Two, take advantage of the pause at PSA at the value level and BGS at the base and standard level by getting a Certified pre grade. In the meantime, GCC black gem stickers also add value on the secondary market. And then of course, the gold and the green and silver, potentially for some older cards, vintage cards. And again, it's not just a pre grade solution. It's like, I know I, I'm using the word pre grade because I think that that makes sense to everybody. But this is also a solution where you can sell these car. You can, you can sell them. Or if you're a collector, you know, I know collectors listen to this show as well, and, and collectors sometimes get annoyed with me because all I do is talk about making money. But if you're a collector, like, this is a cool solution for you too, where you can actually put your card in, like Chad said, a vessel that is unique and different than a slab and you can get it cheaper and quicker and in theory, just as authenticated and just as accurate. So. All right, appreciate that. Let's move on to some more show topics here. I want to remind everybody first though, of our member store@noallseason.com like, just because this is cool. Like, we had somebody named George who some of you who might be familiar with from his appearances on the sports card strategy show. He was a premium member at no off season, is a premium member@nooffseason.com and runs that company called Slab Dynasty. He used his member points a little over a year ago to co host a podcast, a show episode of this show with Lefty and I. That was Zebra fun. You can all do that too, if you're sitting. You've wanted to, if we're one of your favorite podcasts. First of all, I really appreciate that. It means a lot to me. Secondly, you want to co host the show with us. You can, you know, you. All you have to do is save up enough member points@noallseason.com which basically, I think you have to be a member for a little over a couple years. That's not that long to just have a free ability to co host a show with Lefty and I. You can also join us on our premium member only discord or do a call with me. So there's a lot of cool stuff happening in our member store. Definitely check that out. There's also a ton of data tools. Ebay doesn't show you what cards to search for, but nooffseason.com does, and we're getting better. We've created a new data tool that our premium members have been using and testing. It's called Hobby Flipper. The purpose of Hobby Flipper is aligned with the purpose of no offseason.com to help you find the right card for the right player at the right time and help you make money flipping sports cards. Hobby Flipper doesn't compete with the market movers and the card ladders of the world in terms of the numbers of carded tracks. In terms of include. I had this guy email me, a listener of the show, shout out to Sean. Sean's created an app that he says has over 16 million cards in it. I have zero interest in having any strategy related to more than 5 or 10,000 cards. That's just like, like I'm like, you got to be Zebra laser focused to make money flipping sports cards. And it's insane to track 7, 8, 16 million cards. So we're not trying to compete with that. Since less than 5,000 of more than 7 million cards tracked on the other platforms actually result in repeatable plays, Hobby Flipper focuses on approximately 5 to 10k total cards. Helps you immediately see the plays to make and the plays to fade based on data and math. So any of you can join@ Hobby Flipper.com if you're a no offseason.com member, you get it for free. You have to be active though, which means you have to have auto renew enabled in your subscription. So we've had some great improvements this past week at Hobby Flipper that we are aiming. Hobby Flipper is aiming to be the most actionable analytics platform in the hobby. So a couple simple improvements. We have a new CSV upload feature. So the CSV upload feature allows you to take a CSV from any other, you know, down, like nooffseason.com for example, the old inventory tracker. You can download a CSV file card ladder, I think you can download a CSV file. Market movers, you can download a CSV file. Many of you have, many of you have tracked your inventory old school, like in a G sheet or a Excel spreadsheet. Well, any of those platforms, you can download a CSV file. So if you want to start using Hobby Flipper and the portfolio feature, not only to be in our Flipper rankings, but also just for your own sell alerts and everything that Hobby Flipper gives you, you can now upload your CSV, format it, and then upload it to download your CSV format it based on the Hobby Flipper example, and then you can upload it to Hobby Flipper and voila, you are in the Hobby Flipper portfolio with all of your previous inventory uploaded and your flips. So like anything that's marked as sold, it becomes a flip Anything that's not sold becomes a holding. And you can also another advancement that we added this past week which many of you asked for any manual entries in fields made when trying to find cards now carry over into the manually enter option, which basically just means there's less manual work for you. And one thing I'll add we've had a lot of questions on well, what if I have a card that's not tracked by Hobby Flipper? So I just mentioned a minute ago you, you've got like 5 to 10,000 cards in there and that's about it. We're continuously adding cards, right? Because as the hobby grows there are more and more investable cards. We've been doing this for about six years now. So we've been through the bubble, bursting prices coming down, putting together strategies for how to move forward. Now we're in a situation where prices are going back up again. So we're cautiously adding cards, more and more cards to it to get towards that 10,000 number of repeatable plays. But there's a good chance still that many people have cards in their inventory that just aren't tracked by Hobby Flipper. Don't worry, because when you put it in manually, Hobby Flipper starts tracking it for you. So even if there's no market data right away based on the subsequent sales of your card, you will get market data and sell alerts based on that. So it's definitely the best new tool in the hobby. You can go to hobbyflipper.com tutorials if you want to learn more. No off season members get it for free along with all the other benefits at no off season and Hobby Flipper members get it for 9.99amonth or 99.99 a year. So let's get into our sports card rankings@nooffseason.com I want to bring up one card that I believe is a new PSA to BGS 95 play. And again@nooffseason.com the only place in the universe with sports card rankings this thorough. This many options. There's many, many more that you can look at. But I'm going to tease it here and tell you The Michael Jordan Flir base 21 from 1989 and PSA 9 according to Hobby Flipper. Last sale $265 average in the last 14 days. 251. Hobby Flipper tells you automatically on this cards page that is a potential one-of-one of 5.15.52 in a BGS9.5 and only a potential loss of 182.21 in a BGS9. So we love this play. The Michael Jordan FLIR base 211989 in PSA 9 in the sports card rankings@nooffseason.com there's many, many more cards in the sports card rankings@noallseason.com also my play of the week is a good go where they one-of-one It's a great go where they one-of-one Which basically means while everyone is looking, this is going to be the clue that I give you. While everyone is looking for, you know, like SportsCenter and Instagram Barstool, whatever other sports podcast you listen to, whatever other sports outlet you listen to. While everyone's focused on Arch Manning and the Heisman Trophy candidate list and the College Football Kickoff and NFL preseason, right? Like all the news, the quarterback battle in Cleveland, there's probably other hobby podcasts that are wasting a ton of your time babbling on about stupid NFL news. When to get the NFL news or the College football news, listen to an actual person who covers the NFL or college football. So while other hobby podcasts are doing that, we are talking about going where they one-of-one So that's a big clue on my Play of the week, which every week I will reveal on the Premium podcast for Premium members only@nooffseason.com so to get my play of the week, join no offseason.com. remember that no offseason.com is the only place on the planet with sports card rankings now updated every day, sorted by the ROI percentage you're likely to make in the future. You can also sort it by the gem rate now thanks to Ryanrate.com we appreciate his help with that. Join Nooffseason.com before no more spots are available. And oh, by the way, like, it's going to show you for all premium members out there, I just want to remind you, it's going to show you the top 100. But all you need to do, you can search for any player. You can search like it's now powered by Hobby Flipper. So the rankings have been a phenomenal tool, a groundbreaking tool in the hobby since 2024 when we launched them. Now they're way better. Like today, they're way better than they were two months ago. Like, way better because it's powered by all the cards in Hobby Flipper now. So it's the same formula, but it's powered by all the cards. It's not just the cards we had added to the rankings list. All right, so let's get into our next topic. Does ebay automatic checkout actually work properly? And the reason why I worded it this way is because I talked to Lucy Yang at the national who's who run basically helps run collectible collectibles for them. And I forget her exact title right now. I think it's like GM or VP of collectibles. And she was great. You can go back and listen to that episode two episodes ago, two Mondays ago. So it would have been August was the Monday after the National. August 3rd. It's August 3rd's episode of the sports card strategy show. Lucy does a great job. One of the questions I asked her was like, look, it's a little bit frustrating as a. I'm an ebay top seller, right? And if you want to become an ebay top seller, there's a great lesson in sports card school@nooffseason.com for premium members on how to become an ebay top seller. It's actually not that hard. So I'm not like bragging. I just happen to be an ebay top seller. And so when you're an ebay top seller, you're basically transacting very often. So, you know, pick up on a lot of things and you, you have a lot of knowledge, right? So what I notice, since I'm using the platform constantly, I notice that when I buy an item, I have my account, for whatever reason for any card I ever buy has automatic checkout enabled within an hour. So as soon as I one-of-one an auction, this is like auction specific. So as soon as I one-of-one an auction, the, the card obviously gets added to my cart and there's an immediate countdown of 60 minutes before it auto charges me. So I have no choice. Once I one-of-one that auction, I have no choice. I'm paying for that card. I can't cancel it. And I will say I love this because if you like, if you've been a long time listener to the sports card strategy show, you remember Lefty and I used to up a storm and we used to one-of-one and flail and bitch and moan to ebay all the time on this show about you need to have this automatic. You need to hold people accountable. People who one-of-one an auction need to pay. So kudos to ebay for doing that. But my question is, why is it that when other people buy my items, they're not in an automatic 60 minute auto pay checkout situation? In fact, they have a week in most cases. Well, 99 of people who buy items from me, from, from my account, no off season sports cards on eBay 99 auto pay is enabled. But it's, it's, it says it's, it's a week. They have a fricking week. Why do I have 60 minutes and they have a week? And I think Lucy did a good job of answering the question, but it's still confusing because like some people don't even have like auto pays isn't even on for them. Like, I still had to cancel an order. You're not, you're supposed to be able to not cancel or request to cancel an order as a buyer, which again, kudos to ebay for that. It's not quite working perfectly yet because I still had to cancel an order the other day because the buyer didn't pay. So we still have buyers slipping through the cracks not paying. So that kind of pisses me off. But I will say, and I was skeptical of whether or not this 7 day auto pay actually works. So in other words, what I mean is like most of the sales I've made, the buyer pays before the auto pay. But I was skeptical that if a buyer didn't pay all the way up to the auto pay of a week later, would it actually charge their card give me the payment? Right? Because like I had never had that situation until this past weekend. So I had in the show notes, does ebay automatic checkout actually work properly? And I was ready to slam it on today's show. I was ready to come on and be like, what the fuck? Right? I was ready to come on and be like, this was an auto pay situation. Gave the person seven days saying the buyer would like to shop longer from your account, whatever, like combined shipping, blah, blah, blah. I get that. But like a week, a week, that's a long time. That's a long time to have someone's credit card before you charge it. Well, sure enough, it worked. The freaking week long auto pay actually worked. So I guess kudos to ebay on that. I do have a suggestion for ebay and again, everybody knows how much I love, literally, I don't know how many times I have to say this. I still have people ask me questions about card shows. And I guess it's because I do go to some card show. I barely go. I literally go this pat. This year I've been to one card show, it's called the National. I do not really do card shows. And the reason why is because everything is better online, everything is better on ebay. Like everything is better on ebay. The entire premise of what no offseason.com is and always has been is ebay. So here's my. Here's my newest conundrum with what's happening on ebay. So right, like, and this was actually the biggest reason, in my opinion, why what was that stupid platform called that Brandon Steiner bought? You know those tiny back to school emergencies that somehow become your problem? That's why I love Uber Eats. You can order school supplies, snacks and lunchbox essentials for $5 or less. So when your kid casually drops, I don't like peanut butter anymore or I need five green highlighters for a project due tomorrow, Uber Eats has you covered. Get everything you need for back to school today from your favorite brands like Aldi and staples on UberEats. Order now ends 97. $5 or less before taxes and fees. Chevrolet together. Let's drive. Stock something with stock in it. Not slab stocks. Not StockX. Stock something stock. Not card stock. Hold on a second. This is annoying. Now I wasn't planning on mentioning this. Brandon Steiner's collectible exchange bought a company and I'm trying to find it now on that website because I'm absolutely drowning here with what the name of this is. But many of you will know. Maybe it'll come to me. Anyone in the live chat, help me out here. Stock something. I used to be on it all the time. All the like back in 2021 and all. A lot of the other content creators used to be like. Because you used to get like, if somebody used your promo code, you'd have like money towards buying cards and you could make a lot of plays on it. Basically the premise, you didn't have to ever see your cards. You could just, you'd send them your. It was kind of like com C but a little bit different. Had like more of a stock market feel to it. But the premise was like you either send them your cards or you buy cards on their platform and then they keep your cards and then you trade them through the platform. So the premise was like you never really are supposed to be able to have to touch the cards. Star stock. Terry Anderson for the one-of-one Start. Thank you so much. God, what an idiot. I Goldin think of star stock. Okay. This is why I think star stock failed miserably. Probably there were some other reasons, like logistically with like storing cards and getting people pack their cards and other things that they did from a business standpoint, that was weird. But I think the number one re. The number one reason why I stopped using it is because there was no auction feature. So there was only buy it now. And. And so what would happen is like somebody would buy a card for like 50 cents and they'd list it for like $50. So the problem ebay needs to fix their own situation happening with this in that. So like this. Joe Burrow 2020 Prizm 307 red, white and blue raw. It's listed for $399.99. Buy it now or best offer. That is insane. Why is it insane? Because when you click the Insights, last sold three days ago for $51. Median sold price over the last three months, 5,750. So why in the f. Would somebody be listing this for 399.99? To rip someone off. Now we identify as flippers, but this is ridiculous. Like, this is scalping. This is scalping and ripping off. And that's not. We are not about that. So. Hague two eight two Hague H E I G 828 100% positive. I mean, this person's sold almost 4,600 items on eBay. 100 positive rating. They've been on eBay. They've sold almost 6,000 items. They must be doing. They're doing something right. But this is not right, man. This. This is not right. Not right at all. That's a 51 card listed for 400. The funny thing is, now many of you know this when you. And for those of you that don't, I think it's interesting when you list the card in a buy it now or best offer and somebody looks the way. This is also cool about ebay. When someone looks at your item, they don't even have to add it to the watch list. You can send them offers. So I got an offer while like it when Chad Hawk was talking about I got an offer for this card from this he IG828 and guess what? My offer was for $160. So what is that person's strategy? That person's strategy is maybe, maybe I can rip the off of someone. Maybe, maybe I can get some poor schmuck to pay 400 for a 50 card. But you know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna. I'M gonna offer them. I'm gonna comb down off of 400 and I'm gonna make it look like it's a great deal. Here's $160 offer. Hey, hey, dude. It's still a $51 card, jackass. So, no, that's horrible. Yu-Gi-Oh Fabs cards in the house says nice call Terry on the star stock. Ebay's got to fix that. That's just not. Especially when you got a bunch of new people coming into the hobby. I mean, that's just misleading. I mean, I think, I think there could be easily, there could be a situation where ebay says, look, we can't let you list based on our. And I think the reason why they can do this is because of the. I think. See, I don't think many of us use the insights tool. I think it's a nice tool, but obviously, like, there's better tools like hobby flipper, market movers, card ladder. Those are all better. I mean, ebay will be the first to even tell you, like, those are better decision making data tools. The price insights is cool because it gives you, it gives you the insights from ebay. So it's accurate, but it's not a great solution. It's a free solution. It's not a great solution because it's not the decision making engine that hobby flipper is. But it's obviously a good enough solution to be like, hey, look, wait a minute, we got a $51 card here. Here's my suggestion to ebay. Use that to deter the seller from listing the card for that. And, and it's up to you, obviously, ebay, but I'm going to give you a few suggestions here. Ebay. I love everybody at ebay. I'm not going to name anybody by names, but I know that one of the main, one of, one of my boys, one of my, my guys is at ebay, probably like, oh, taking notes here. So I love that. Okay, here's what I would do. One option would be you. I think the strictest option would be to not allow the seller to list it for any, any amount. Any certain percentage amount. And based on you, ebay, what you guys decide. Cause this is like to list a 400. To list a $50 card for 400. That's insane. And that's why I'm like, I don't think it's, I don't think it's necessarily bad to do the strategy that we've talked about on the show as recently as last week with football season. Like, I'VE got archmanning cards that Last sold for 900, listed for 1600. I've got some of them last sold for 500 that I've got listed for 1500. That's. That's only 3x. And it's coming up on a time period where I expect the. That card to sell for closer to 1000 or maybe over $1000. So my strategy is, okay, I'm going to list it for 1500. I can come down to about 1100 or 1000, which is pretty reasonable for a 500. You're kind of meeting in the middle, right? When you list a card at 3x, what you're doing is you're like, look, my offer can meet in the middle of where it is currently. Where I expect it to be is in the middle of what I'm asking for it. That's. That makes sense. And so that's why it's a fine line and a slippery slope for ebay to step in and say, make a decision here. But when. But I think when you have price insights saying, this card has sold this amount of times over the last three months for an average of $51, and we have this seller who. Who is. Who is a legit seller listing it for 400, I mean, that's. Let me just get my calculator out here. That's basically 8x. So some of mine that I think are acceptable. And like, my. My recommendations to sports card strategy show listeners and nooffseason.com premium members. My recommendation is like 3x maximum 3x. A lot of times just two. This is eight times, which is ridiculous. So option one would be, don't even let us, as sellers market up this much, right? Because you have this Price insights tool, so you could use it in this manner. The next option would be like, you get dinged a little bit. Like, you get like. Ebay would come in and be like, we know you have a hundred percent positive feedback from users, which matters the most. But ebay matters quite a bit too. And we don't like what you're doing here. So we're gonna give. We're gonna add something to your profile that basically says, this is. This is something that this seller has done negatively in the last. Now, before that, though, you could give them a warning. I think you could get like. So, for example, I've had a. I've had a card listed on ebay recently where ebay has. Has took. Taken it down. It was a Steph Curry Beckett authenticated auto. And for whatever reason, even though it was a. In a bet. It was a legit Beckett. Like, you could look it up by the cert number. You could see it, like all that stuff. It was a legit. Steph Curry had signed. It's a weird situation, but Steph Curry signed a sticker that was put on a reprint card of his 2009 tops. Rookie Beckett encapsulated it and authenticated the auto and called it a trading card. Right. It was not the authentic card, but it was an authentic auto on what they called a trading card. Ebay made me take that listing down. They wouldn't even let me list it on ebay. I had to sell that on my slabs. And even though it was a legitimate card, I had to sell it. So if ebay, if you can do that, why can't you warn sellers that they're ripping somebody off based on the Insights tool and make them only be able to list it if they lower the price? Because I just think that could be very bad for the hobby and I'm very interested to hear what all of you think of that. So you can either follow me at Sports Card Strategy on Instagram and DM me what you think, or you can go to YouTube.com Paul Hickey and drop a comment on this topic. All right. Fabs cards asked me, what's your ebay account? Maybe he's. He's asking Terry. I don't know. I don't know. Terry's. Mine's no off season sports cards. No offseason.com members are saying the following. Matt W. Says, hey, Paul, we talk about repeatable strategies. And I had a question about grading frequency. This is from the premium podcast. All right. I primarily just make plays from the rankings, the sports card rankings@nooffseason.com but I have a lower end card that I buy and grade a lot to fill out my grading orders. Over the last year, I've graded 91 of these cards. The bulk have been PSA, but I've graded about 20 with BGS and SGC up until my last order. My overall gem rate has been about 32% with this play. So that's kind of kudos to, you know, Matt as a premium member utilizing our tools. He says for reference, the gem rate across graders for this particular card has been 23, 25 with PSA. So a little better than average on this card. And I feel like I've improved significantly thanks to you and thanks to the experience on this one specific card. Based on the content@nooffseason.com I just received my largest. Here's kind of the downside. I just received my largest order to date for this card back from PSA and I got killed. He said, this order represents half of the copies I've graded with PSA across 5 separate orders. My gem rate this time was only 7% compared to the earlier 32 I had going into this order. And given the size of the order, needless to say, it hurt. He goes, so my question is this, did I just get unlucky with an individual grader and should I brush it off as a one off? Or when making ongoing submissions of the same card, do you recommend sending them in more frequently but in smaller groups in order to spread your risk out from a bad draw on the individual grader that picks up your order? And he says, thanks for all your help. Oh man, great fricking question. So I answered this on last week's premium podcast. So to get my answer, you gotta go there. But the reason I threw this out on the Sports Card Strategy show today is because I think this is a great topic and I'd like to know what all of you think. So again, what do you think about Matt's situation? Matt's question you can answer by dropping a comment below@YouTube.com Paul Hickey or if you're listening on Apple and Spotify, you can email me@pauloffseason.com or you can DM me at sports Card Strategy on Instagram. All right, let's move into new ebay data. This is from our guy Joey. Football fever continues. This is Jude Bellingham and Erling Holland who play football slash soccer. Their cards since the World Cup. Well, not their cards, but searches for their names. So searches for Jude Bellingham have gone up more than 350%. This was in the month following the World cup compared to the month prior to the World Cup. Erling Holland searches for his name more than 190%. So that's interesting. NBA Summer League Caleb Wilson, the fourth overall pick in the NBA Draft in July 2026 when he had a dominant Yu-Gi-Oh popping summer league searches for Caleb Wilson of the Chicago Bulls increased more than 200% in eBay.com's collectibles category compared to the prior month, June 2026. So just keeping this in mind, like that would have been a nice raw potential, raw flip of like a. Well, it would. It would have been complicated. So that's why we didn't really there. There was a lot that had to happen to make this work. So we didn't recommend it as a play. But like we have done plays like this in the past where like you would buy a Tops now card and then you would pre sell it. So if you're interested in those kinds of plays, like Sports card school@nooffseason.com kind of explains how to not kind of it in detail explains how to do these plays. But like that could have been a play where like Caleb Wilson draft night card base. We could have bought those and then pre sold them during the summer league raw. And then I think what the Blue Ice there is like maybe you also get a hit, a lucky hit. I like I actually like that for next year potentially or the NFL draft with Arch Manning coming up in 2027. All right. In July 2026, Upper Deck Michael Jordan Collection was announced. Searches for Jordan in eBay.com's collectibles category increased more than 30% compared to the month prior June 2026. Okay, the five I always like this. The five top five most searched athletes in eBay.com's collectibles Category during July 2026 were Michael Jordan, Victor Wembanyama, Shohei Ohtani, Kobe Bryant and Cooper Flack. Now I have been ahead of this and I've also used this to get ahead this. When Joey sends out this bullet point, it a lot of times both validates and indicates what I'm doing and what I should be doing. When you are transacting, you know those tiny back to school emergencies that somehow become your problem. That's why I love Uber Eats. You can order school supplies, snacks and lunchbox essentials for $5 or less. So when your kid casually drops I don't like peanut butter anymore or I need five green highlighters for a project due tomorrow, Uber Eats has you covered. Get everything you need for back to school today from your favorite brands like Aldi and Staples on Uber. UberEats. Order now ends 97. $5 or less before taxes and fees. Select items only. Availability varies. See app for details. Chronic migraine is 15 or more headache days a month, each lasting four hours or more. Botox Onobotulinum toxin A prevents headaches in adults with chronic migraine before they start. It's not for those with 14 or fewer headache days a month. It prevents on average eight to nine headache days a month versus six to seven for placebo. Prescription Botox is injected by your doctor. Effects of Botox may spread hours to weeks after injection, causing serious symptoms. Alert your doctor right away as difficulties swallowing, speaking, breathing, Yu-Gi-Oh problems or Mosaic weakness can be signs of a life threatening condition. Patients with these conditions before injection are at highest risk. Side effects may include allergic reactions, neck and injection site pain, fatigue and headache. Allergic reactions can include rash, welts, asthma symptoms and dizziness. Don't receive Botox if there's a skin infection. Tell your doctor your medical history, Mosaic or nerve conditions including als, Lou Gehrig's disease, Myasthenia gravis or Lambert Eaton syndrome and medications including botulinum toxins, as these may increase the risk of serious side effects. Why wait? Ask your doctor. Visit botoxchronicmigraine.com or call 1-844botox to learn more. The top five names on eBay. You're putting yourself in a position where you really can't lose. So I've been criticized by premium members of saying like one guy even was like the rankings and this is totally incorrect, by the way. It's like not even, it's not even true. And you can go to no offseason.com and you can see that it's not true because again, in the sports card rankings, you can search by like, you know, a thousand different players and you can see cards that rank for them. But I was accused of only showing my Paul's Players quote unquote in the rankings, which is not even true. True, but like, but again, even if it were true, it's pretty freaking smart because like, my players are these guys. Like, these are the guys that I'm buying. Michael Jordan, Victor Women, Yama Shohei Otani, Kobe Bryant, Cooper Flagg. And like. And why am I buying them? Because the data is not only validating but also telling me to buy them. Now what cards am I buying? You got to dig into the Nooffseason.com sports card rankings and Hobby Flipper to really see that. If you need, we talked about timing on this episode. If you need help selling your cards at the right time, use Hobby Flipper Sell Alert feature. Join no offseason.com now. Stay alert. Keep making plays using our card analyzer and predictor tool. We also have consignment services. So actually just, just today I was emailed by two different premium members, one in Australia who was like, hey, how do I work with you to put me in a position where I don't have to pay these obscene shipping fees to get my cards to and from Australia. I'm like, dude, that's what our solution is for. @nooffseason.com for premium members, you can buy your card, have it drop shipped to me. I can get it Graded for you. I get it back, I can sell it for you and then pay you out. So again, we have that consignment services and again, PSA vaults had a lot of issues. Fanatics Collects had a lot of issues that we've heard from our premium members. So definitely want to make sure that you guys are aware of that service. Okay. One of our premium members, you know, I, I mentioned a Great Michael Jordan 1989 FLIR card number 21. Great margins on a PSA to BGS PSA 9 to BGS 95 play. Also, I've looked in the, in the premium podcast this past week. I looked at the Bo Jackson 1990 score with that kind of a play. Thanks to one of our premium members who brought it up. It's interesting. I'm not really willing to co sign it yet, but it's close. I'm gonna, I'm gonna dig more on that, potentially add it to Hobby Flipper. Also, I. Okay, I want to improve the premium member discord@noallseason.com I think it's like, and this is my fault, I think it's like probably a 7 1/2 to 8 out of 10. And I want to get it more to like a 9 where people are like, 9, 9 and a half, 10 out of 10. Part of it is like, part of it is because I think it. Well, I think it's like an 8 because of all of the premium members. I think like the Premium members@nooffseason.com have made it valuable. I came out, see, we used to have a discord for the show listeners. I kind of thought that that was a little bit weird just because there was some neg when you. Whenever it's like a free open discord or a free open Facebook group for like listeners of a show or like, whatever. You get some weird negativity in there. And like, I don't know about you guys, but like, I'm just not about being mean to one another. Like, I know I just called out that ebay seller a minute ago, but like, I think that was warranted. I'm not gonna like, be mean to that person. I'm not gonna like if that person posts something on a message board. I wouldn't like if someone was like, you're an idiot. Like, how dare. Like, you know, go screw off or whatever. Like, those kinds of things. Like, I just. When I. And it comes from a place. When I first got back into the hobby in late 2020, early 2021, I was just trying to do A lot of research and I was asking a lot of questions. And part of that was like, I Goldin go to card shows because I lived in Spain. So, like, I would go to Reddit, I would go to Facebook groups, and people made me feel like an idiot. And I'm not an idiot. Like, there's a lot of. There's a lot of topics. I don't know very much about politics. I know nothing about politics, but I don't feel, I don't feel bad about asking questions and being ignorant and being naive and being like, uneducated about politics. I'll be the first to tell you, I don't talk about politics because I don't know anything about politics and I'm not that interested in politics. So I'll be in a conversation with someone talking about politics and I'll say, I have no idea what you're talking about. Can I ask you a few questions? Sometimes it's like, no. Sometimes it's yes, that I'm that way with sports cards when people are like, now that I know a lot about sports cards because I've dedicated the last six years of my life to knowing as much as I possibly can about making money flipping sports cards. Now I'm a subject matter expert on it. But I'm not going to make somebody feel like a piece of shit if they're not. And I think that a lot of Reddit, Facebook, free discord. Free. That's bullcrap when people do that. So the reason I made the discord for premium members only and premium members that have to use member points to get in, the reason why I did that is because I want it vetted. I want it. I want the people in our discord to be committed to being a positive member of our community for as long as they possibly can be. So based on that, we only have about 150, 160 members, because out of the 500 members, only that amount have enough member points and have chosen to use their member points on being in the discord. I like that because it's a. It's a way of saying only this small, small, small group of people care enough to be in this discord. I think that's where you get the quality. So I think from a quality standpoint, we're a 10 out of 10. I think from an overall standpoint, we're probably more like an 8 just because we don't have as much action as other discords. And I think people value that. Part of it is because when I first came out and made the switch to a premium member only Discord with member points is I came out and I said, look, I don't have time to be in the discord. Like, if you think this is access to me, it's not. I'm not in there. Well, now I think I'm at a point where I want to be in there. And I want to be in there because I. I actually don't think. I mean, the reason why I'm a podcaster is because I think this is the best. I used to be a really good writer, so I think I'm a good writer. I just don't really like writing as much anymore as I did like 10 years ago. I used to write for, like, fantasy football magazines. I used to write for all sorts of stuff and I loved it. I don't love writing anymore. I love podcasting. And I think that I'm a good podcaster. And that's why I think out of all the media, I don't think I'm a great Instagram, like, personality. I don't want people following me around with the camera. I'm not gonna try to alt art and be someone I'm not. I'm not gonna try to use kids to get Instagram views and all that weird stuff. I think. What's most organic to me is this right where you can. You can open up Spotify, you can open up Apple Podcasts. If YouTube's your deal, then you open up YouTube, whatever, and you listen. This is where I'm most comfortable. And so this is why I do that. I suck at Discord. I'm not good at Discord. I'm just not. But I want to get better and I want to be there more. And that's why I'm saying this. So I think I've tried to manage expectations up until now, and now I'm coming in and I'm saying my commitment is to be there more often. My commitment is to talk about all the plays I'm making, all the plays I'm thinking about making, all the cards I'm bidding on. My card is to my commitment. My goal moving forward is to be in the premium member Discord more. So above and beyond what I talk about on this show and in my nooffseason.com content, I'd like to be doing it in the Discord. That way it can help all of you understand my thought process more and what I'm cooking up. So Fab's card says I only have 50 points, but I will be there soon. That's awesome. And the reason why Fabs card says 50 points is because that's a monthly member and when you join monthly, you get 50 points. So the more months Fabs Cards stays a monthly member, the more points they will accrue and then it's only 350 points. So you're not that far off. Now if you are a if you join annually for that less than a dollar a day. And you can switch from monthly to annually if you want to. But if you join annually, you automatically have 500 plus member points, which means you can not only join the discord, but then you have points. You have points left over to use or save up for other things. Okay, all right. That's enough for today. That's enough for today. You have heard me talk other than chad hawk for four minutes. You've heard me talk for 90 minutes straight. But I love all of you. I Goldin do this without all of you. Have a great day. Thanks so much for being here with us on the Sports Card Strategy Show.
