Time to sit back, listen, learn and earn with me on the sports card strategy show. Me and Lefty McKee. Lefty, we just got done leading the Nashville based celebration of Espana. Vamos, vamos, Espana. Copa Mundial. Campiones got done leading the celebration. The family is very excited. How you doing, man? I'm good, man. I, I honestly was a little down by the way that the game went yesterday. As you know, as you can see, I'm wearing the England kit and so. But the third place game was everything I wanted the World cup final to be. I wanted 10 goals. I wanted Messi to score a hat trick, I wanted Lamine Yamal to score a hat trick. I just wanted it to be just pure, pure visual entertainment and chaos. It wasn't. But the outcome that I wanted still was achieved. I did. I was rooting for Spain to win partially because I like the underdog or like the newcomer story, but partially because, you know, I knew Max was like really, really passionate about it. Oh, man, tell me about it. He was. And I appreciate that support of, of Max. He, My son Max was so pumped about Spain dating back to, like, when they first started practicing in Chattanooga. He tried. He had this plan to, like, break into the practice and we weren't going to let him do that, so. So he and I went to the Cabo Verde game, the Cape Verde game, and it was, it was so much fun. And it was like this, like, he and I were kind of disappointed by that, that outcome. But then, like, as both teams started going through the World cup, we're like, oh, we were actually at one of the coolest games. Like, one of the, one of the games that kind of went down as like, you know, classic, even though it was a 00 tie. And then, yeah, to your point, like, England and France in the third place game, I think scored more goals combined than all of Spain's games or pretty close. I mean, Spain only allowed one goal, which is just nuts. And yeah, I mean, like, Yamal should have had two yesterday, I think, and Nico Williams should have had a hat trick. Even though he only played, you know, he played like the final 60 minutes kind of subbed in, but he just kind of like biffed. I mean, he assisted on the, the only goal of the game, which was good, but I think there should have been a lot more goals. But it was still, still a good win for Espana. I couldn't believe that Spain, I don't know if you've seen this, but Martinez had more saves, so he had 11 saves last night. So that's. The Argentinian goalkeeper had more saves in, in just yet yesterday's game than Spanish goalkeepers did in the entire tournament. So it's like not only did they not have very many goals scored upon them, they just didn't allow people to get close enough to shoot. Yeah, it was, I was. That's a great stat. Like, because it. I was thinking about how good the defense was with Kubar C and Kukare and you know, they like the entire team played good defense. It wasn't just the defenders. It was like the entire team played really good defense. So. All right, so actually, let's jump into. We had Lamine Yamal sales on the agenda today, so let's, let's segue right into that. But Lefty, I'm looking at Lamina Mall data and you know, a lot of his cards in the last two months because the World Cup's kind of been going on for almost two months. Not quite, but almost. But over the last two months, you know, many of his cards, you know, Number of sales 5 or more filtered by price change by the dollar amount. And you can do this in Hobby Flipper, but there's several cards up more than a hundred dollars. Not surprising. The, you know, people again continue to most of the hobby continues to buy in at the high points, you know, so we reverse engineer that. And for example, you know, I listed we've got some consignment services@nooffseason.com and the reason I bring this up is because I wasn't holding any Lamina Mall cards. I think you were. So let you talk about that in a second. But one of our premium members had some Lamina Mall cards and I of course got them all listed and not to end yesterday, but to be up yesterday during the World cup. And they're doing very well obviously. So I'm really happy about you know, being able to get those from our premium members get those listed during the World Cup. And you know, I think this is probably something unlike where like a player gets traded. I'm interested to your take on this too. Unlike where a player gets traded moves teams where those selling markers can only really see prices rise for maybe like 24 to 48 hours. I think someone like Lamin Yamal, this feels like it could be a selling marker that lasts at least, at least a few weeks as people are like sort of riding this wave of Spain winning and him only being 19 years old and things like that. But, but talk about your, your situation with your Lamina Mall holdings and, and then your, your take on what I just said. Yeah, I think so. Right before the World cup started, I was thinking, you know, I had made some plays and then I had realized that I just fell into the classic like dang, I just don't think I have enough guys to sell if there are problem or if there is great things that are happening. And I've, I had a lot of cards for the United States Mitch national team, which you guys know how that worked out? Didn't work out. How did that, how did those go? Like how, how did those did you auction off your U.S. men's National Team cards while they were still alive in the knockout stage and stuff. And how did, how did that kind of play out for you overall? I. Yeah, so I actually listed them. I listed all of my United States men's national team cards the day that the last exhibition game happened. So like the day that, so that I think it was the game in Atlanta against Germany maybe I listed them all that day knowing that within seven days the first knockout game was going to be. And I really just had a bunch of stuff that was kind of hanging over. I knew like it was, it was old things that I had bought from a long time ago. It was stuff that I kind of had just, you know, thrown in every now and then, you know, like it wasn't like they weren't current plays that I had made in the last six months for sure. And so I really was like, hey, the best point, the best point to like get off the track for a lot of this stuff that I just would like to liquidate is probably at the beginning of this. So I had like some, you know, like national treasures pulisic stuff. Nothing like super big but nothing. You know, it's a couple hundred bucks here or there and was able to get funds back. There was no way that I was gonna make them 20, 21 money back at this point. You know, like we the. The buying stuff, holding stuff from back then. Yeah, I was holding stuff from the Winter World cup last, last World cup that we were like, okay, it's going to have a huge selling marker and then the market. Yeah, that's right. And so I was holding stuff from back then and it was all vaulted. I kind of had just written it off as like a learned lesson from a long time ago and was kind of just able to recoup funds. So that was nice. But then right before the World cup started, I was like, I think I want to get like a PSA 10 Lamine, just an average something, you know, maybe in the 100 to 200 range to just see how that to like kind of make a speculative play on them potentially going all in. So and, and winning. So I ended up getting two PSA 10 slabs right before the tournament started. One of them was a PSA 10 Pandora, which is a short print from select and then a PSA 10 of a another insert. And I got them both for 400. So it's 200 apiece. Sold one of them for 250. And then the current one I have, I just still had. So I put it up for sale at Buy it now for 400 at the start of the game, had a couple of offers on it for like 280. And then I was like, you know what, I'm okay keeping a lamina mall PSA 10 if they're not going to pay full price for it. Like, I'm not, I'm not really not that worried about having to move him right away. And so I'm already pretty much in, you know, I'm, I'm breaking even for sure. And I still have profit on it because I made good option on the buy side at 200 for this slab. And so I'm really not that worried about it. But I still am holding it. I thought maybe somebody would bin it yesterday, but he didn't score a goal. So, you know, that didn't happen. So. Okay. And I'm okay with that. Okay. So, all right. I like that strategy. That makes a ton of sense. And thanks for breaking that down for us. You know, kind of understanding what you're into each card for. What. What's probably the best time to get rid of cards even if you're going to take a loss or break even, slight loss, break even kind of a thing. And then maybe with your Yamal, because we just. So that kind of kind of answers my, my question as well, which is like, what do you think of Lamal's value? And it sounds like you're saying, look, there's no reason, even though this was a selling marker, there's no reason to get rid of this guy's cards unless you're up by A lot or you're getting the price that you want for your card. Right? So that was kind of why I really don't think it's like, like, you know how like when in the playoffs, NFL playoffs, you're like, man, I have this. If the Cowboys were ever to do anything, this would be some, this would be a, a narrative. We would have be like, oh, I have this CD Lamb that I really would like to sell in the playoffs. You have to get rid of that CD Lamb card during their playoff run. Like, if you hold it after that, you're losing equity immediately, you know, And I, I don't think that's the case with Lemine. I think he's 19 years old and he's like one of the best players in the world. Like this, this card could be triple the value in, in a couple of months. You know, it's a short print, it's a PSA 10 and it's him and his national team kit. So it's like, I'm okay with it, I'm okay holding it, you know, and, and I know it doesn't fit in our 90 day play that we normally have, but for me, like, I'm okay holding a long term, like, guy of this caliber. If I have to hold it for longer, it's okay. Yeah, for sure. And he is. We talked about. There's kind of two other points I want to make. One is like, you know, while we were sort of missing each other with the scheduling, there were like, you know, eight episodes or whatever where you, you and I just couldn't be on the show together due to our schedules. And during one of those shows, I kind of went through some social media posts and kind of slammed some, some content creators for, for saying like this, this Lamina Mall card and this again, this was back in June. So again, the World cup, it's. It's been a while, but like, like Spain was, was playing really well right before the knockout stage. And during that time, Yamal's kabooms and other like really low pop or low serial numbered cards were up like, you know, from say basically there were posts that were like, if you would have bought this card two years ago, it was 500, now it's 15,000. You know what I mean? It was all those posts. Yeah, and so, and so I just slammed those posts because I was like, well, yeah, but this is like, out of five. Like this is like a green kaboom or a gold kaboom or like, you know, or it's like a pop you know, I'd look up the pop count, and I kind of put it on the. On the show and said, the popcorn on this card is like 32. So, like, yeah, that's great, but there's only 32 people in the world Post applies to that. That it. It. Yeah, but that it applies to. But like, who's to say that. That. That those cards were for sale back, like, 32 of them were not for sale. One of them sold a couple years ago. One of them sold before the World cup, but there's only 32 of them. And one of them. Look, one person. One person had the opportunity to buy it because there was one auction for one card. So it's like it. The whole. If you would have done this thing again. And I think that that's why we have the audience that we have, because people appreciate what we do, which is not necessarily say, hey, this card sold for $3 million, or this card sold for $15,000, when the reality is none of us could have had that card anyway. So we try to talk about what plays actually make sense that we can all participate in, especially those of us that can't necessarily go to card shows all the time. So that's what the Sports Card Strategy show is here for. The other point I kind of want to bring to your attention is, remember Lefty, you know, we had a lot of smart listeners of our show, but also really, really smart Premium members of Nooffseason.com ask us, okay, what do you guys think about buying soccer cards? And this was back when nobody was thinking about the World Cup. What do you think of buying soccer cards with the World cup as a selling marker? And I've always been pretty lukewarm on that. Right. And I don't remember my exact answer, but I think it was something along the lines of, unless it's somebody like Lamina Mall Messi or maybe Mbappe, I probably would fade everybody else. And I can't remember if you and I mentioned Holland or not, but he was. He's. He's in that discussion. But at the time, I hadn't really done my research. This was a long time ago. You know, we're talking in World Cups every four years. This could have been 18 months ago or, you know, 12 to 18 months ago. Point is, I didn't know Norway, you know, the last World Cup, Norway wasn't in it. The World cup before that, Norway wasn't in it. So we. We. Back when we first started the Sports Card Strategy Show, I remember talking about Holland as somebody who, like, isn't going to be in the World Cup? Well, I think partially because they expanded it this year. We got to see Holland come into the World cup and the world got to see how good he was. And so the reason I wanted to. You know, I'm setting the table for some data here. I'm looking at 106 cards that went up by 200 or more in the last 60 days. And I'm counting how many different athletes. This is soccer only were actually had cards that went up to see kind of like how well we did in that big blanket statement prediction that we were trying to guide everybody. And really other. It's. It's Lamina Mall, Erling Hollande, Messi and Mbappe. The. There are a few others sprinkled in, but those are the bulk of them. The others sprinkled in with like one car. Now, like. And when I say those four athletes, that's like multiple. Multiple cards, most of them being messy. To be honest. I'd say Lamina Mall looks to be second. Mbappe third. Holland fourth. With the amount of cards in those 106 cards. Fuller in Bull Lagoon has two cards because he was the guy. He was the guy. The World cup or the US's goal? If I. If I. Can you just run that name by me one more time? Fuller in Bologoon. I don't even know how to say it. Florian. Florian Baligan. Baligan. But it's. It's spelled F O, F, F, O, L, A, R, N. So I said Folarin, which. That's how I would read that word. And then. How do you say it? Baligan. Okay, so him. And I know who he is. I just don't know how to say his name. So there's that Jude Bellingham, which I'm. That doesn't surprise me. But he only has a few cards. Julian Alvarez. Who I don't know that anyone. And this. And Julian Alvarez's card is a. Is a. Is a Blue out of 299PRISM World Cup. So that's. Again, take that for what it's worth. And he played well. But does anyone know. I mean, if. Unless you're a soccer aficionado, you know, that's. That seems like a super sleeper to me. And it was this 2022 PRISM World cup rookie. So has a rookie card shield on it. Blue out of night out of 299. Raw Venecius VDJR, as I like to call him, because that's what's on the back of his. His kit. And Ronaldo wasn't on there. No, that's it. So every, Every other athlete was either Mbappe Messi, Laminal or Erling Holland. And so, and so my. So I think, like, I'm not sitting here and saying that I was like, right on any, like, particular prediction about how, how soccer cards did during the World cup, but I think I am gonna, I am gonna say I was right about my overall strategy of where I, where I would have veered people, which is like, tread very, very carefully on, like, any sleeper plays that you're gonna make. Go with the big names, go with the bit. Go. Go with, like, the big four. And I think I, I think I say. I remember saying, like, I'm not into Messi, so I'm not gonna buy Messi, but obviously his cards did well. But Messi's one of the big four. Mbappe for sure. Lamina Mall. And hopefully I said Holland. I can't remember if I did or not, but he's def. He's definitely in the conversation. So anyway, that's me kind of coming out and saying, look, I think we were kind of right about how we, how we predicted, you know, the impact of the, of the World cup on the card market. I know there's probably a lot of people that see the, the money, the prices of the cards that are being sold and say, well, hey, did we miss something here? I think my answer is no. I think we kind of knew this was going to happen. The reality is going out and getting a lot of those cards that went up in value was not easy because a lot of them are like low serial numbered cards. Messy rookies, like, you know, now lefty, I think there's probably some Lamina Mall cards. I remember on lefty cards when you were, when, when you were doing that show a couple years ago and we had some conversations on the sports card strategy show about like, being like buying his mega cracks PSA 10. Like, okay, they're like, people who did that definitely are doing very, very well today. If they're selling those. I sold those way too early. Like, those, those are like the plays that we want you to try to be making. And I just faded that because I just didn't. Honestly, I was too burned by Ansu Fat. Yeah, you probably had ptsd, bro. I did. I did. And that's why. But anyway, that, that I, I made like triple what I invested in that. In that play. Yeah, I bought three of them for. I, I bought three of them for like 400 bucks or something like that. I ended up selling several of them for almost 600. And now that card is worth like, I think like five grand or something like that. So it's like that would have been a crazy play to hold on to, but. Yep. But Ziggy's in the live chat. Ziggy says hobby flipper.com is very cool. Thank you Ziggy, appreciate that. I wanna, I wanna present something to you as, as a question. Yeah, go for it. I think over the last five years. We'll say five because that's, we're almost on the five year anniversary. Although we've been doing sports card stuff together for a little bit longer than that. But over the last five years, Killian Mbappe's market has been confusing. I think both of us are like, oh, there's been good times to buy in, there's been bad times to buy in. There's been people that have made tons of money and then there's been people that have been burnt. You know, it's like, ah, okay, what do we do here? Some of that's market cycles, some of that's availability, some of that's Mbappe's career. You know, like there, there's been quite the up and down for him. Yeah, this is his third World Cup. He won his first World cup when he was 19 years old. He is 28 years old now. It's been nine years since that time or something like that. And Yamal is on the exact same trajectory. Yeah. World cup winner, 19 years old, massive market. Going to be like what everybody's talking about for the next eight years. You know, everyone's gonna be like, I gotta find some leming cards. Got it. I wonder if we can look at Mbappe's market as a somewhat of a Runway of how confusing and potentially volatile Lamina Malls market will be over the next better part of a decade. And, and soccer cards, I think what, I think what we've seen. I saw a graphic yesterday that said there's been four cards that have or five cards that have sold over a million dollars in the past six months and three of them have been soccer cards. So I think like, I think it's like generally saying like the world is eventually going to pick up on this and we've been saying this for five, six years. You know, like eventually the world, you know, once the streams of, once they figure out a couple of things like what card is the card to buy? Is there like access is grading. There's so many hurdles that you're gonna have to jump through for the world to become available to this card market. But eventually that will, I think, happen. So, Paul, just humor me for a second. Look back over our last six years together with Mbappe. How do you, I want you to, to potentially perceive how would you play the Mbappe card market now, knowing what we've known previously? Like, would you have bought and hold or would you have bought differently or would you have stayed out completely? Or would you, you know, like, traded your way in and out? Because I think, I think it's a good strategy for how we eventually, at least initially approach le means market. Especially right now. Did you know Sam's Club isn't a store? And so I agree with you that going back to your first point, Mbappe's card market is confusing if you look, because, yes, we have tracked him pretty closely since like 2021, early 2021. And then we have the 2022 World cup where he, you know, he played well but lost in the final. But he won the 2022 World cup for a card perspective is really hard to gauge because it was the winter, it was the. Well, yeah, like, I think that's part of the con. Part of the confusion, though, lies within reason that we can look at and say, so, for example, 2018, he won the World cup, which is kind of where you started the discussion, your comparison to Yamal's first World cup in 2026, which is. I'm gonna try to, like, answer your question, like, bouncing back and forth between all the points you made. So, like. And like, keep the discussion. I like this discussion. So, like, Mbappe's Market has been confusing, but I think part of the reason why you can look at it, and we predicted some of the confusion is because of things like the World cup being in Qatar in the winter in the United States and being sort of weird also, we knew we, we were able to look at him as someone who, who won the World cup in 2018 and go, oh well, if he doesn't win the World cup in 2022, then that's not good for his card market because you have that expectations built in. It's almost like Mahomes not winning the super bowl or not getting to the super bowl and then you see his cards go back down. So confusing. Yes, true. But also looking at the pattern in hindsight, it starts to make sense. And it's, it's one of the reasons why soccer has scared me over the last few years is because you have such long gaps between like there's a Super bowl every year and not only is there a Super bowl every year and a World Series in an NBA finals, but like a couple months later there's an event for that sport where the rest, like all of the US thanks to the media and social media starts to get excited about that sport again. So there's like the NFL scouting combine, there's the NFL draft lead up to the draft, there's the free agency. You can do this, you can. I'm not going to repeat myself. For baseball, for baseball and basketball, but there's the same thing. The summer league, etc. Etc, etc. So with soccer, like there could be a whole episode of this show and maybe we'll do a special episode of why soccer is odd and like hard for American sports fans to participate in. Not only from a fandom perspective, but from a sports card investment perspective. One contributing factor is you have so long between selling markers and then what are the selling mark? Is the euro? Are the Euros a selling marker? Not really. Are freaking big ass deal. Yes, but they're every. But now you've got them every two years, right? So there's. So every four years there's two big things, but every two years there's one that maybe 25% of soccer hobbyists care about or even know about, which is the Euros. So like. So okay, that's my point. My point is one of my points is confusing to do soccer because spread out selling markers. And what even are the selling when a player transfers? Is that the same thing as a big free agent signing or a trade in another in another major sports league? I don't think so. I mean I think people like you who are big into soccer and others who are big into soccer, that's important to you. Like that's, that's a cool news item that you get excited about. Great. Like, but is that a selling, like, you know, a lot of, like, ask. I don't know. The 8 billion people that watch the World cup, out of the 8 billion people, what percentage do you think could name the players for each country's team? The actual professional team that they play for? It's just, it's not 8 million, that's for sure. Yeah. And so you've got back to kind of where we were going with the comparison. I think maybe I'll just go to my thesis and then we can unpack some other discussion. My thesis is now that this. Well, let me. Before that we talked about. I talked about these four players and how they were the main four players, other than the other few who had cards go up by 200 or more dollars in the last 60 days, which is kind of like looking at the impact of the World Cup. One thing I didn't mention is they all, I mean, Yamal won, his team won and he's 19 and there's a lot of hype around him. He had one goal, but it doesn't, that one goal doesn't matter. He still had a big enough impact on the World cup to be like performance spike kind of. Right. But Mbappe had how many freaking goals and is now the all time gold goal scorer in World cup history. Messi, same thing. I mean, Messi broke the record and then Mbappe broke his record in the same World Cup. Hold on. We talked, we texted with Turner about this. Hollande, Mbappe and Messi all had, I don't think, hat tricks, maybe hat tricks. They all had multiple goals and at least one of them had a hat trick on the same day in the, in their first match of this World Cup. So my, my point is like part of the reason why these guys saw this pricing increase is not just who they are, but what they did and what they did in America, in North America, in times where, where Americans who spend a lot of money on sports cards can watch the, watch the matches, talk about the matches, participate in the matches, all those different things, be at the match, like participate being like whatever that. You guys know what I mean? And so performance spikes, performance spikes played a role. If Mbappe would have, would have, if Mbappe wouldn't have scored as much or if Holland wouldn't have scored as much, or if one of them would have been injured or if, you know, any of those things would have happened, like their card prices wouldn't have done what they. So it wasn't My point is it wasn't just the World cup, it was a performance spike. But my thesis is now, because they all did what they did in front, in front of the audience that they did it in front of in 2026. Now I think actually all four of these guys, including Yamal, are sort of goats. Like they're sort of goaded in a way with American sports card hobbyists. And so now, now that they're goaded, we shouldn't really see a huge drop off in any of these guys prices, which is good, should we? Can we see slight pockets where it's a good time to buy them? Yes. So now I feel a little bit differently about these four guys and their top cards, which is probably going to lead me into adding a bunch of. Adding a bunch of their cards into Hobby Flipper and talking about them more on the Sports Card Strategy show and@noallseason.com. and I do think there will be investment opportunities in these four guys moving forward because I think they're goaded in their own way. You hit on why Yamal and Mbappe are. There's no reason to hit on why Messi is. And now everyone's like, who the fuck is Erling Hollande? And we've been talking about the guy for a long time. So it's like, like my sister in law who knows nothing about it at dinner the other day was like, I love that guy. And I'm like, okay, well there's an indicator that this guy, you know, you know that he's. And we look at his, his card data and it's there. So, so I think Yamal, Mbappe, Messi, Holland are in the same discussion. If you were to ask me right now who I would start investing in maybe once the World cup hype dies down in a few months, it's probably a short list of Mbappe and Messi. I think Messi is now The Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant all rolled into one. Even though you and I already knew that. Well, now he did it again. He's Tom Brady also now too. He's also Tom Brady. So now I feel more confident than ever with Messi stuff. It's not going to be cheap, but I think it could, it could be like Ohtani where it keeps going up. I think Mbappe could maybe be the same thing, but now Mbappe Mbappe is more like Lebron where it's like he's a goat, but he's still. He's LeBron and Otani where like he's a goat. But he could still win more. And then I think Yamal is still like. I think who. Who's a good, like, a good, like, Yamal comparison would be like, I mean, like, maybe, I mean, Stretch, but maybe. Yeah. I mean, Patrick's done a little bit more than Lamine, but their markets is insane. But maybe he's. Maybe he's Patrick. Maybe he's. I mean, he's somewhere between Cooper Flag. Maybe he's somewhere between Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes. And I know that that's a big gap, but Hertz has won a Super Bowl. Mahomes has won multiple. They're both still active, that kind of thing. We're gonna get railed for somebody be like, they prepared him. Patrick Mahomes. Yeah. I mean, it's just. Someone's gonna rail me for the Jalen Hurts part too. They're way better than Jalen Hu trailing hers. What? Yeah. Yeah. I think it's just this part of the show, but I think it's still gone well. I like, I think it's just really interesting to look at the next 10 years and say, like, I don't want to not be a part of Lemine's market. Scares me. I'm just gonna say he's still absolutely the reason he scares me. Scared because of how much we've been kicked by soccer cards. I would not. Let me just flag plant the reason. You guys are probably like, well, why not Yamal? Because you've said Mbappe and it's because Mbappe and Messi are at a completely different level from a goat perspective than Yamal and Holland. Holland is like, as good as any of those four players individually. But in terms of, like, what his. Like, does he have a golden boot? Does he have a blonde Oro? Does he have a like, whatever. Like, does he have. Does he have, like, team championships? Does he have, like, will he. Will Norway ever win a world, you know, like, those kinds of things. I don't know and I'm not knowledgeable enough about. About the sport, world football to like, really get into that. That's why he's a question mark for me out of the four. Yamal's a question mark for me out of the four. Because he's 19. The way that he plays scares me because he's so. He's the way that he was defended in the World cup and he was held to one goal. I feel like that could be mimicked moving forward. And I feel like he's so goal dependent that it just scares me. Like, if he goes On a drought or gets injured, everybody could just forget about the guy. Whereas like if, like it doesn't matter what Messi or Mbappe do, I don't think to this point. So that's where I'm at and people will argue with me. But I, that's what I think. I think it's a pretty good defense. I think, I think it. There's a lot of off the field issues with him too. I mean like people have a, there's a narrative in Spain that's like not kind to him sometimes and like how about just who he is as a person? But he's also a 19 year old that's like wildly famous as he was a 16 year old when he first burst on the scene. So I think there have been times where Mbappe's market was not good either. Like the whole saga with him and trying to get to Real Madrid from psg, like that was, that was really bad. Like they were like people weren't. His narrative in his media wasn't kind, you know, so to his market, not just kind in general, they were being mean. Yeah. But yeah, I'm nervous about Lemine too. But I get. I just am gonna say you're gonna flag plant there. I'm gonna flag plant, saying I will not, not be having an attention and a pulse on his market. I like it, I like, I think it and I think it's fair either way. I think it's, it would be foolish to not. I think I would still rather buy the other two like you said. Yeah, I think it would be foolish to not track Lemin overall. As someone who could give you, give us all opportunities to make money. I think Messi and Humbape are the safest. Holland and Yamal are. We should track them. I think I do. Like what one of our, one of our loyal live chat listeners here is saying in the live chat. Catawba is saying just better places to put the card money. And that's ultimately where I land, right? I mean that's ultimately where I, where I land because I just to your point about it kind of being confusing, that's, it's a little bit confusing to me. And so I don't, I don't like to, to put my money into things that are confusing or that have just like burned me over and over again. It's like I'm not sticking my finger back on the burner on this one. I mean I might. I'm definitely going to look for deals and I'll report back to all of you. If I, if I find some. But it's, it's going to be few and far between in terms of the, the soccer cards that I look to buy. And the reason I want to talk about our hobby Flipper.com portfolios is because I want to talk about what I'm starting to see in mine has given me a topic for this episode, which is today's July 20th. What's upon us and what's past us. What's upon us is NFL training camp, right? What's upon us is the NFL season starting, right? Like, you know, it goes NFL training camp, it goes hall of Fame game, it goes preseason. Before you know it, it's week one. And so when you look at, are you going raw to grade or are you going already graded that calendar. The calendar we can all see should dictate what we should be buying right now. And what I'm, what I'm looking at is no time to get football cards back before, before, you know, they start to go down in value. Also, as I look at my portfolio and hobby Flipper, I'm seeing a lot of the football cards that I've been buying this NFL off season going up in value a lot, which makes me really happy. But it's also an indicator that maybe I should stop buying football cards because the there's less and less profit margin to football cards. So what I'm, what I'm starting to do, I'm starting to buy basketball. I'm looking at raw to grade basketball and I'm looking at my football card portfolio and going I'm pretty good with this. Yeah, I'm holding football from now through, probably for the next month, maybe 40 days and paying attention to my sell alerts at Hobby Flipper. And I'm selling football and I know that's not what a lot of people are doing. I think a lot of people are, are getting excited about the national being next week and that's when a lot of people buy football. And, you know, I'll get into some of the plays I'm making, but what do you. Are you. Sounds like you're saying you're, you're aligned with me here, but what are you thinking? Yeah, I think my thought process was pretty similar. I sold some stuff recently and I was like, okay, I have some capital to move back into other cards. You know, like my selling, selling all those soccer cards I talked about earlier did give me around a thousand dollars to move into whatever. And so I was like, cool, what do I do? And so I started looking at football cards because that's what we've been doing for the past three months. Started looking at the kind of the save searches that I had on, on ebay where I was like, okay, downtowns and kabooms and stuff like that, you know, and short prints and prism silvers of all these athletes that we've been talking about and actually went to the local card shop this week and, and got Jaden Daniels slab. And so there are some opportunities that I'm still seeing as potentially like, like you said, if there was a, a graded degraded option that made sense for this, it was the PSA 10. Jaden Daniels neon green prism was. I saw it on Instagram. Looks, looks good. Yeah. So it's like that, that's a card that I was like, okay, this was cool. And they, they had it priced in a price point that I was, that I was fine with. So. But I started turning my attention towards basketball as well because baseball at this point from a raw to grade strategy is just off the table. Football from a raw degrade strategy for the most part is off the table. So I started doing, I started really Googling three things over the past or not Googling ebaying three things over the last week. And that was Sandy Koufax because we had talked. Oh yeah, talk about Sandy. And I was like, okay. So I, and I talked about, you know, like wanting to get into that It's a little out of my price range at this point, but I want to have a pulse on it. And then I I've gotten looking at Cooper Flags again because the Dallas just made a trade that is going to bring in another first round pick. There's just a team that has a good market and I just think Cooper is going to be a fun guy to get in and out of over the next five years. And then I pause right there because I am going into Cooper Flag as well. So I'm gonna. This is my. This is my Hobby Flipper portfolio. And when I go football, you're going to see how much green I'm up. And that's kind of what I was talking about earlier. But the, the new player rankings@noallseason.com should launch this week. And this is kind of a preview of what the page looks like and you can filter by athlete. So I've just filtered by Cooper Flag from a raw to grade standpoint and I'm going Cooper flew ton of opportunity with grading Cooper Flag a ton of different cards. And I had said that I was going to wait until like December to start to buy into Cooper Flag. But what I'm starting to see with everyone's attention diverted to football and having been diverted to soccer is there's so much raw to grade upside with all of mo a lot of Cooper Flag's cards. Not all of them and not most of them, but a lot of them. And that's why I'm using our sports card rankings to kind of point me in the right direction. Is the timing also lefty. So going getting rather than wait rather than and I'll probably do the same thing. I'll probably buy back in in December as well and then grade as well to get them back in case Dallas does make a run this year. But even if they don't to what you were just saying, even if they don't make a run this year, buying raw to grade Cooper Flag I think is a good investment even for the. For the upcoming seasons. Almost like a Wemby because if you recall, Wemby had an amazing gem rate and all we had to do was just wait for him to have hype rises and performance spikes. And so you can see right here there's so many different high gem rates for Cooper Flag compared to other releases of recent years. And so I'm just Excited? Are you getting to that screen again? 55. But since you mentioned Cooper Flag, I wanted to agree with you right away because of the data that's pointing me to it. So back to what? Back to what? You were. There was another guy you were going to mention. I was. And I know you're excited about this guy. During the World cup final, I made a purchase and you made a purchase as well. And you're. Yeah. Just because the cat's out of the bag a little bit. You purchased a Cooper Flag. I did. I purchased a Mercury Victor Womenyama for the first time. I have been bidding on them like crazy. I actually would. I. I think I actually this is a random point, but I'm not sure I bought the right card because I'm new to Mercury cards. But I think I bought a Mercury that may ended up actually not be a good win for me. But I'll let you tell me if I made a mistake or not after I explained this. But I bought a Victor Womenyama card. I've been bidding on them all week. Really? And. And this one happened to end during the World Cup. The particular card that I bought is a Victor Wembanyama tops Mercury French language back. So it's the back of the card is all in French and the checklist says that those are out of 45. So I was like, cool. And out of 45 that I'm getting for the price of an out of 75 blue. Like this is like that's great. But then I'm realizing the French language back card, it is on Checklist out of 45. But there's no out of 45 marker on the card. And so I'm like, ah, you know, like, did I mess this up? You know. And so yeah. And so I, I start. I tried to like kind of look around and I'm not 100% sure that not all of them are not out of 45. So I don't know. I probably should have looked more into this before just bidding on it. But I was bidding on a swath of Tops Mercury cards and this was one of the ones I was bidding on. And I ended up winning this one. It was cheaper than all the other ones. And I think that is potentially why. So I'm wondering, have you, I know you've done a lot of WIMBY research. Have you ran across these French language backs and like, what are your thoughts there? Well, I haven't run across the ones that aren't serial numbered out of 45. That's how I'm most familiar with the French language cards and that I do know that they're like. As I was building Hobby Flipper, I was kind of noticing that I think there's like 20 different. 20 different cards. I don't want to call. I hate to call them base cards because there's really no base cards in Mercury, but like 20 different photo cards and there, but then there's serial number. There's a bunch of different, like consistent serial numbers throughout that. Throughout the 20 that don't have. And then, but then there's also like relics and all that stuff that are different. But anytime there's like a relic or an auto or a non auto, non relic, those kind of three categories, there are. They all have variations of the out of 45 French language. So I'm surprised to hear actually that there's a French language that's not out of 45. I'm interested to see like, how much you paid for the card and is it covered by the ebay authenticity guarantee? Is somebody going to check up on this or is like, is something in the listing that you bought say out of 45 and really it's not. Yeah, the title says out of 45. Then it, you know, then in that case. So on one hand, checking in how many bids there are, and if there's like a high amount of bids, it might be okay to keep it just because you got it for less than the other French language cards that actually are out of 45. So it might be something that you're gonna profit on anyway. That's kind of my initial thought, is that it sucks. But I bought it for $213 and there's 21 bids on it. I messaged the seller and I said, hey, it looks like this is labeled as an out of 45. And in fact, there's not an out of 45. Where all the other ones say, have the numbering. And he's like, yeah, this, but this says in the checklist that is a French back and it is a French back. And it does, in fact, not have the out of 45 on the front. Interesting. Well, I definitely want to look into this more because it's not something that I was totally familiar with. I assumed because when I was building Hobby Flipper, I was looking at all the checklists and I was doing all these. This is something I could send to tops. I saw that it was out of 45. Like, you know what I mean? So I'm with you and. And the seller on the auto 45 thing. It's just weird that there's no serial number on it. So it could be. It could be something that you could send to TOPS or at least. Yes, submit a question, a ticket, and just see what they say. It's just. Just falling just short of the ebay authenticity guarantee. But that's okay. I mean, I think. I think it's a good purchase, though. But it is kind of a weird situation. Yeah, I don't. Yeah, it's. It's. It struck me as not stupid, but definitely something I prop. I would, like, look back on and be like, I should have just paid more attention. Yeah, makes sense. Is it in the mercury seal still? Yes. Okay, I think that's good. Here, I'll show it to you. I think that's a good detail for everybody out there wondering, like, how to buy tops mercury. I think if top. Typically, if tops mercury are not in the mercury seal, it means someone tried to grade it, didn't get the grade they wanted, and then just sold it in a. This one's the one I bought. Usually the numbering is right here. Yeah, here's another exactly like that with the numbering. Like, exactly like that. Yeah. Okay. There it is. That is so weird, man. I would definitely. I would definitely contact tops on that 100. Now that you've showed me the photos, I'd be like, yeah, this is. This should be serial numbered. And the back is clearly in French. Exact same as the other back. Yeah, that's so weird. Yeah, I definitely. I definitely would contact TOPS and then, you know, see what they say. And then you could always be like. Because this one is quite different. Yeah. What's that selling for? 980 something. Well, right now. Yeah, right now it's just under a thousand listed. Oh, but it's a Buy it now. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. I like it, though. I Any. And I like it because it's Wemby. I like it because you want it in an auction with. With multiple bids. I like it because it's mercury sealed. I like it because you won it during the World cup final and the card that I won during the World cup final is the Cooper Flag Topps Chrome Sapphire Edition base, which is currently number seven overall in the Cooper Flag raw to grade rankings. Average raw price of 773 suggested greater PSA with a 52.29 ROI and a 55.1% GEM rate, which is actually very high compared to other cards of the ultra modern era, believe it or not. And then when you. What I love also is when you click on the card from the no offseason.com player rankings, you're taken to the Hobby Flipper card details page where you can see the latest sale, in this case the 90 day average, the PSA upside, BGS upside and SGC or CGC upside. So that's my process right now. My process is to follow those rankings to click over to the Hobby Flipper card details page to click buy card on ebay from Hobby Flipper. You know, Hobby Flipper shows you the active listings, all that stuff too and just try to bid on those cards. Now I did pay a little bit more than the last sale I won mine for and I went ahead and did the PSA regular at Grading checkout on ebay. So we'll see how, how mine does. What, what I noticed was that it was listed as excellent and not near mint or better. And so for those of you that, that know, I'm wondering but I looked at the photos like a lot and I was like, I don't. This looks gemmable. It really looks gemmable. So I don't know, I know that some, some ebay sellers just put excellent so they don't get dinged if the card goes to like, if the card goes to authentication and it's like, oh, it's not just extremely near meant like you posted. Then they're, they'll say, well, I put excellent and just you can just have your own, you can have your thing. You would say, I've heard that is like for instance, when I list raw cards, I generally list them as excellent. Just because I'm like, that's my thought process is I'm like, hey, if the card looks good to you, you're gonna pay for it. There are tons of data tools. Ebay doesn't show you what cards to search for. But no offseason.com and hobby flipper do. We've created the new data tool. Our Premium members@nooffseason.com have been using it. So I think Turner's definitely got me beat on margin. Sergeant Bunks, Sergeant Buck's bunker is number one in margin. He's made 548.1%. Jim McKeedon 407.8% Josh at Hobbyguys Co 360% Nick Eppler 341% AB sports cards 247%. You got to scroll all the way down. I'm not even in the top 25 because I'm at. I'm number two in net profit, but I'm not even in the top 25. I'm 44 margin. But lefty, look at all the. And Turner is. Turner's on this list. Should be. Well, he's like just under it. Actually. He's at 80. So he's. Yeah, he's just out of the top 25. But I mean, like a lot of people have asked. I'm at 27. How many total flips? Let's see. So Lefty has 26 total flips. So like that's, you know. And I have 47. The. The. I think the more flips you have, the harder it is to keep up that margin. But look at Tim S. 84 flips. 86. Matt Winzeller, 209 flips. That's crazy. I love seeing this actual data because we've. This is something we've talked about for the last five years on the show. Like, how much margin should you be making? Well, what's. How much net profit? Like, how often are you flipping things? Like it's. It's gonna be right here, baby, to compare in the Flipper rankings. So this is, this is in the last year. As we, you know, we'll make this a regular segment on the show where we'll do who's the best in the last 30 days. That kind of thing. But also top flips. So if we go top flips in the last year Rose Bros. The top flip is a. A PSA 10, which I'm guessing was a raw to grade. Yeah, yeah. Bonix John Elway dual gold out of 10 downtown PSA 10. So he made $5,575.73 on that one play. That's insane. Zach E. LeBron James Panini one and one manga got a PSA 10. He made 183 margin. $5,078.91. That Tim S. Like, how about the most margin in a play? Well, Sergeant Sergeant Bucks bunker made 25 19% on a raw. Ken Griffey Jr tops archives blue cyber stats auto out of 25. He made a. It's a thousand dollars ten, $58. And I wonder so Sometimes maybe he pulled it. He pulled it. Yeah, because it's raw and he had to have had something really low in as the cost. So my guess is that he pulled that. But that's fine. That's not what most people are doing. But hey, you put that in there if you pulled it. A lot of good stuff in here. You can see most of these are not polls. Right. They're like PSA 10s, raw to grade or bunch of Victor Wembanyama Prism Silvers on this list. Yeah. Good. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Nine of them out of the top 25 are the same card. Great. Great takeaway there, Lefty. Nine out of 25 are the same card. So the, the top flipped card in the last year is definitely that one. Yeah. I mean, and then, and then if you just go in Victor Womenyama, broadly. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 of the top 25. Yep. So it's just validation of what we do, what we're doing. I mean, you just bought a Wemby. Yeah. During. During the World cup final. That's why you're, you're using the data to drive that decision making. And that's, that's why we want you listening to our show. That's why we want you using Hobby Flipper. Why are you using no offseason.com? because we're not just making this stuff up. It's like, yeah, you might see, you know, a VJ Edge comb on here, but one. One player like VJ Edgecomb in the top 25 speaks volumes versus more than half of them being Victor Wembanyama. I want to give a shout out to some of our premium members who have had some wins. But Lefty, why don't you go next until I know you had a RAW to grade one with bgs, right? Oh, dude, I'm so excited to talk. Oh. And not just a one win. It's a whole play. It's a whole play. A whole play. It's 10 cards. So here is the 10 card play. You ready for this, Paul? Just wait. This little stack right here, if you're looking on my, on my camera here, these are the 10 PSA 91996 Kobe labels that I had cracked them all out of different types of PSA slabs. Some of them were new PSA slabs, some of them were ancient PSA slabs. I think I had one that was probably slabbed in 1996 that I bought. And I was just like, you know what I'm going to. And that was the play that we talked about many times about. I don't know what it was about six months a year ago and I was back in like September, I think. Yeah, I was consistently buying them at between. At one point, I think on the podcast, I told you guys, I do not bid higher than $175 on this card, which I won. I had 10 of them. And at under that with shipping and fees and all that kind of stuff and grading after cracking everything. And you can look on my hobby rankings because they're all in here. I think I was at $203. If I can pull that up quickly, I'll be able to confirm that for you. But, oh, $210. Vaguely a piece on all of these Kobe cars with BGS grading included in that price. The raw or the BGS9 Kobe card coming back right now is coming back at like, I don't know, I think it's like 240. So I'm, I'm at a $30 profit minus fees on a BGS9 right now because people are realizing that the PSA nines are going for like 300 plus right now. So my bidding stopped at 175 and that current card is going for like 300 plus. So what I, what people are now doing are finding BGs9s and trying to convert them into PSA nines. When we were trying to find PSA9 to convert them to PSA9 fives or BGS9 fives. So like the play now has a new layer to it, which is. I love that. Which is kind of funny. Yeah. Because you were saying, like when you were texting me this, you're saying not only do I have such a good success rate at PSA nines to BGS9.5s, but even the BGS nines I got, I've made a profit on. Right. If I had enough time, like, if I, if I was like, okay, I actually was thinking about this. Those BGS9s, including the BGS fee that I paid, and if I was to send them back to psa, I would still be in a profit margin, like very small, but I would still be able to get profit margin if I turned them back into PSA nines Because this play has evolved so much. So isn't that like a bizarre piece of this? Like, that is. I ended up not doing that. I ended up just. I listed all of the nines already on auction, and immediately they're at like $130. Like immediately, like people are just bidding on this card all the freaking time. So this is going to be an absolute win for me. But nine, I. I sent 10 of them into BGS. Five of them got nines, and five of them got nine fives. What I'm going to call gym rate. I know it's not a gym rate. Gym rate, success rate, same thing. For me, it's a 50 success rate. Turning a PSA 9, Kobe 96 into a 9. 5, which we. We had gotten murmurs of that with like some of the no off season people that had like that had done this play. But it was like two or three cards. I think is when you were. When you were like, this seems to be early. Early speculation seems to be like, this is a pretty accessible play. Yeah, well, for me is exactly 50 on 10 of them. I had a little over 2k invested in this play, which was a huge play for me, especially a year ago. Now I'm like in a little bit of a different situation because of some Messi and LeBron plays that I made earlier this year that now have put me in a different echelon, but that at the time I was like 2k on a Kobe experiment. Oh my gosh, this is crazy. Well, I'm looking to make over $257 or 257% profit on five of these cards. According to the conservative estimate of those 9,5 selling for 750, some of them are selling for over $900. Let's fricking go, Lefty. What can I say? Everybody, except you're welcome because this was on the sports card strategy show where I broke this down back in September and people are winning. It's so excited that Lefty's winning and I've been winning too. But I think Lefty just getting his grades. I still have several at bgs, but the results so far, you can see them right here in my hobby flipper portfolio. So PSA nines I had 1, 2, 3, 4, 4 that I cracked and sent to BGS. I had the same success rate. 52 of them got 9 fives. 2 of them got nines. I sold mine on April. I sold my nines on April 28th. If I would have waited to now, I'd be making a lot of. I'D be making a lot more money. I lost $12.65 on each of them, even though they were both purchased. That's kind of weird. They were both purchased for different prices and sold for different prices, but my net profit was the exact same. My. My BGS9 fives, though, I made total net 378. 52 on one and 321. 35 on the other. Again, if I would have waited a little longer, would have made a little bit more. But there's more on the table for all of you guys and for myself when I get my other grades back, the other two, so. But I did purchase six, so technically my success rate was higher than 50% because the other two I sent to SGC and they got SGC nine fives, which I was able to make 57.67and 63.81 on those two. So that Kobe Bryant lefty is now beating me from a overall. We got the same success rate, but he's beating me from an overall net profit and an overall profit, which is amazing. And hopefully many of you are beating me as well, because that is. I also had more to lose on this play. I went further than. Than most people. Yeah. Which kudos to you for doing it because. And here's the other part of it though, is like, yes, you took a bigger risk than most people, but according to Hobby Flipper, this. And this is another feature of Hobby Flipper that I'm just obsessed with. Yeah, the PS. When you pull up a PSA9 of any card, it's going to show you the potential win and the potential loss of grading it, crossing it over to bgs. And so this card in particular, this is the data you were just, you were just talking about. And potential win is. Is pushing $300 now and probably a little bit over $300. And the potential loss is under 200. So it's, it's not necessarily a ratio. It's more of looking at. And when you. And actually, that's another thing with, with Hobby Flipper in terms of the. Of the rankings@nooffseason.com that are powered by Hobby Flipper, I'll show you the card rankings real quick because it'll give you a little bit more of a window into that. So when you go to the Regrade tab. And again, this should be accessible for no offseason.com members, maybe even by the time you guys are all listening to this, you have a PSA 9 to BGS 95, potential win and potential loss column. You have a BGS 95 to PSA 10 potential win and potential loss column. What you want to look for is not necessarily a ratio of like trying to make thousands of dollars on the potential win and only hundreds of dollars on the potential loss. But you want to look for what are the cards that you're going to lose the least on but potentially gain the most on. And so that Kobe, even though it's not one that you would be necessarily gaining the most on, it is one of the ones that you are losing the least on and you're still gaining potentially $700. So you're talking about risk mitigation as well as upside. And that's, you know, more for you there@nooffseason.com and Hobby Flipper. But speaking of this card, one of our other, one of our premium members, like loyal premium members for a long time, Arif purchased a Kobe BGS9.5 for $310 in December last year and he crossed it over and got a PSA 10. So he went from a BGS 95 to a PSA 10. He hasn't sold it yet, but it's a 2200 card according to the, to the most recent comps. And that's a post that he made on the Discord. So big win there. I have that card. I have two of the nine fives that came back with all nine five sub grades. So what are you gonna do? Well, for me, I was like, okay, do I list that one for more? Because I know, I know that is worth more, should be worth more. But for me, I was thinking, do I keep one of those? Do I hold those for like, I mean I'm way in the profit on this play. So do I keep one as a long term hold? Do I. But then I thought I was starting to think, do I crack one of the nine five all. All nine five subgrades, send it back to PSA and say is this a 10? Because if it becomes a 10, it's a huge win that, a massive win. Yeah, like, okay, so let me see. I'm gonna do this right now in, in no offseason.com and again, you guys are going to be able to do this later. But when I go to, I'm going to find, I'm going to try to find that card and see. And this is, this is a lot less time consuming than trying to do all the, all the math on your own. But. I'm seeing it's not in the, it's not in the top the tops Chrome version Oh, here it is. Got it. Okay, so yes, it is number 13 overall Kobe Bryant card and BGS 95 potential win $1200 potential to cross over to PSA potential loss 564. So it is, it is a big. And we are, we are taking into account like the, the fees, like the, the ebay fees that you would, you know, so. But the loss of 564 is if you purchased it at a 9. 5. Yeah, that's. I purchased it at a PSA 9. That's a good. Yes, that's true. That's exactly right. So I purchased it for $175 and it was a PSA9. And now, now it's got BG. That's the other thing we need to take a minute and unpack here. Is like it was a PSA 9, everybody. And Lefty cracked it, submitted it to BGS. It got a BGS 95 with all 9. 5 subgrades. And now it's looking like it could be a PSA 10. But it was a PSA 9. So it was, go figure that, like it could have been one of the really old ones or something like that. What I would probably do is not try to try to get it to be a PSA 10. I would probably again try to sell it as is at a higher price based on all BGS 95. But that's what I think I'm gonna do. But like conservative. I could get cheeky and, and try to like. And try to really get it crazy out of this play. Could get cheeky. So a lot of times people are like, well, you talk about all these raw to grade wins. Like how, like what's the data on, like the whole success rate thing of all this. And I'm like, well, here's what I can, here's what I can tell you. Real, real life Examples. Just got a grading submission back from our, you know, no offseason.com member submissions. A 2001 upper deck led. This is going to hit lefty right in the heart. A 2001 upper deck card number one, Tiger woods just got a PSA 10. That's a beautiful transaction. Raw to grade PSA 10 and then a raw to grade. This is a different type of card, but raw to grade 2025 upper deck Matthew Schaefer young guns just got a PSA 10. So a 20, a 2001 card and the 2025 card each getting a PSA 10 in the same submission. These are, these are cards that I'm about to ship Back to no offseason.com members right now. And the one thing I want to mention is I'm covering the upcharge for these because these were both submitted earlier at the value bulk level and these are clearly cards that. Well, the Matthew Schaefer is clearly a card that's above the max insured value for that. So I am cover. I cover the upcharge for premium members that grade through no offseason.com so not asking for any more money. Couple other wins. So I purchased an Aaron Judge 2017 tops Chrome base. It's the fielding. So it's just the base version where he's fielding. And I'm gonna tell you what I purchased it for and what grade it got and I just picked it up today in my portfolio. Aaron Judge. Gotta go back to my portfolio. I was in my flips. Okay. Aaron Judge tops Chrome Base 2017 Raw to grade at PSA total cost including grading and everything like that. 164.80. Just got back a PSA 10 of that card and I'm gonna convert it to a PSA 10 right now in Hobby Flipper and see if it'll. It should tell me exactly what everyone knows. That unexplainable it factor. That smile that lights up a room, that wow. Well, it doesn't happen by itself. There's chemistry behind the charisma. And judge is kind of down right now, but because of that raw degrade win, I'm now up $265.20 with a total ROI of 160 92%. So I should get a sell alert later tonight from Hobby Flipper telling me it might be a good time to sell that card. I get a seller every night. That's because you're so freaking good at flipping sports. It actually just is like you need to sell your Caitlin Clark card every time. Hey now, congratulations. A Caitlin Clark holding of yours is now up by X amount. Now it's now. It just sold. It just sold for X amount. Now might be a good time to sell. And then let's see. Is that everything? I think so. Pretty pumped about my raw to grade win. Pumped about lefties. BGs PSA 9 to BGs 95. Kobe Bryant plays. Gave the shout out to all the no offseason.com members. We got so many testimonials. So many testimonials. We're 90 minutes into the show. I'm not even going to read one. I just think I've talked so much about how amazing we are so far that I'm going to pass it over to Lefty for any parting shots that he has in today's episode. Turner and I completed the play this week where we officially got our Cooper X fractures back and we sold our blue X factors. People might be asking, you just said buy Cooper Flag. Why are you selling Cooper Flag? We had so much profit on this play because we got in really early. I bought a PSA 6x Fractor Cooper flag and cracked it out and then told Tops, hey, I pulled a X factor or X factor. X factor, one of those. And I need you to give me a blue one. And they were like, okay, just mail it to us. So we did that. And so I sold mine within 16 minutes of it being on eBay for 700 or 699. I sold it within 16 minutes to somebody who said, I'll pay 600 and I'll pay right now. And I said deal. And I told how much into that? Maybe 2, 240, 250, something like that. And then Turner, he put his on there and his sold for 650 within a couple hours. So he got $50 more than I did. But his sold in a couple hours. Mine sold in 16 minutes. Good play for both of us. We decided not to grade it. We could have gotten really good money had either of those gemmed. But we, for us, we were just like, hey, dude, that was a fun little thing that we capitalized on, and we're glad that we get $600 cash back. So that was good. Good play for us. And that is now making sense that our. Our text string was about. Because I had bought the sapphire and you guys, I was so confused. The blue X fracture. So I was so confused. I was like, why are. Or I. I was like, I was missing the mark on photo. Yeah, it's the same photo. And like, the. The top don't sleep on the TOPS Chrome Sapphire, everybody. Sapphire. I mean, that's something that, you know, if you. If you look on most Tops Chrome cards, that if the TOPS Chrome card is doing well and you're looking for, like, what's. What's another play? Like, how do I potentially parlay this? Taking the base sapphire of like a TOPS chrome auto or something like that might always be kind of the next best thing. Or like a X factor or something like that. Like, Lefty was talking about. Lefty was talking about something completely different with the. The blue X fractor. There was a sort of a redempt Lefty. Do you remember exactly what it was? We talked about it on an episode where it was like, people were supposed to be getting a specific card and then, yeah, Tops. The TOPS Chrome boxes that were originally released were supposed to have a blue X fractor variation in. And no, they weren't included in any boxes. And so somebody was figuring that out. And so Top said, okay, anytime you pull any X factor for. I think it was for a couple of months, they were like, you can send it in and we will give you. We'll mail you a blue one. Because the regular X factors were supposed to be blue. And so Turner literally saw that and goes, cooper Flag team color. That could be a legit. Like, that could be so big. That card could be huge. So we started looking at just what the X factors were, and we're like, all we have to do is obtain one. And then apparently we needed to obtain one. Send a message to TOPS and they'll be like, yes, we'll send you a blue one. So I bought a PSA6 of that card. People had already kind of caught on by the time I was there, because a PSA6 should not have sold for what it did because people knew that they were just going to be able to crack it and get a. A. Yeah, a blue X factor. So I sold my blue x factor for $600 and $600 and then he sold his for 650. But interestingly enough, so you, you. I think this is an interesting play on this side of it. Yes, I sold them. But I would like to say that those cards you might want to look at to grade and here's why. Your tops chrome sapphire, the last one that sold on ebay that I'm just looking at right now is sold on 24 bids for $725. I don't know what you bought yours for, but that the last sold on eBay, 725. The PSA tens of that are going for pretty crazy money. The P or $2,121 PSA nines are coming in at a, at a loss for that card. The previous nine sold for 700. So after grading fees and everything, that's getting pretty pricey if you're getting. If you're not Jimming it. What I would like to say is the X factor probably is a very con like comparable number to that, except for they're coming in sealed. I think that is something that we should look at because usually when you redeem a card and when. Or when you get a redemption or that kind of thing, when they had the top sealed logo on it and all that kind of stuff, in my head that means they're going to have a better gym rate. I don't know if that's true or not. What do you think about that? I like it. No, I think, I think not only that, but also you can, you can trade those cards almost like a graded card. You can, you can transact with those cards almost like a graded card because. And that's why I asked you about is your tops mercury still sealed? Because if it's sealed, it gives the impression like you just said, that it, it has a higher potential gem ability because it came directly from the manufacturer. It wasn't put into packs and boxes and cases and handled and ripped and pulled and put into a penny sleeve, top loader, etc. It was just from the printing press to, you know, the, the, you know, cut and into the one touch and then, and then sealed with the sticker. So yeah, I'm totally with you on that and I, I think I need to dig more into that. And we love that Turner guy. We love Lefty and we love that Turner. Turner's just so freaking crafty. Dude. He'll just come at you with something that you just never seen or expected. Yes, absolutely. We love it.
