On this week's episode, we're going to be talking about an update to the Japanese tournaments where foreign players will no longer be allowed to compete in them. There is a update to the Play Pokemon rule books, things that specifically pertain to the tcg, which we will talk about. We will of course have guest that flavor, text everyone's favorite segments of the podcast. And then we're going to wrap up this week by looking at the results of the Melbourne Regional Championships this past weekend. We can't look at the results of the Lima Special Championships because there's no results posted online anywhere. But we can dive into Melbourne and we also have indie this weekend, Indie regionals this weekend. So we'll be talking about that and kind of around Melbourne, you know, make some predictions about what we think will happen based on on the results of the last couple of weekends of tournaments. And then of course, we will have our weekly bonus episode exclusive to YouTube channel members and Spotify subscribers. If you want to get a little extra content from us every single week, be sure to check one of those two things out depending on where you are listening. My name is Chipperji, joined here as always by my friend and co host Azul gg back home from Australia. How does it feel, Azul, being back home now everything's right side up. You're not, you know, like walking around upside down. How's it feel? It feels pretty good. Yeah. Melbourne was good. Played honchkrow, got top 32. But I definitely was in like a spot to be able to get top cut. I'm gonna have to go back and review my match on stream at some point. I did lose there and then Kind of a loss. What'd you say? Throwing. It's possible I made some mistakes for sure. I don't think I played. I think I definitely made some errors. I don't know if it would have impacted the outcome of the match, though. That's kind of the. The question for sure. But yeah, I had a great time in Australia last couple weeks. Went out a week early and played or streamed commentated the troll us 8k league cup. So shout out to them for having me out early for that. And then hung out in Australia for a week. Got to see a lot of the city. It's pretty fun. Shout out to everyone I, you know, met and hung out with over there. Did some bouldering. I still have the kangaroo on this, this screen. My bad. Definitely inspired to find or to try bouldering further. Did you find a gym in your area? Gym near me, so. So, yeah, I did. Yeah. There's one actually pretty close by. I thought there might not be, but yeah, it's there. So I'm gonna check it out, Continue my bouldering ventures. But yeah, had a really good time in Melbourne. Term was good. Community was cool. People were cool. Shout again to everyone I met and hung out with. I think there's anything else. No, that's kind of it. Yeah. Melbourne was cool. Sick. I'm definitely gonna try and go back next year. That's one of the things that look like. That's one of the reasons I've been like, not one of the reasons I haven't been competing as much lately is because I just haven't been able to come with, like, a reason to compete over, you know, cast the tournament. If TPCI wants me to come out and cast a tournament or watch party, it's just like, what is the. Like I could go to any of these events, theoretically, right? I could go to Europe. I could go to Australia, like I did. So one of the reasons behind why I went to Melbourne was like, all right, I can, like, set the goal of trying to win a regional in every region because I won a regional. I won Stockholm. That's Europe. I won Mexico and Merida. That's Latin American region. I've won a couple here in North America. So I was like, okay, let's try and win one over in OC and so I'm definitely gonna go back to regional next season, maybe two to try and get that, get that dub over there. You could try to be the only person besides Tord who's won every single ic. I know that is also I, I, that is One of my goals as well. So I'm gonna put that. So I'm gonna go to UIC LAIC next season, but that's one of the reasons I haven't been competing as much. It's just like. It's like, not for a lack of, like, wanting to compete or feeling burnt out or whatever. It's just like a fact of just like. Like, why. Why go to a tournament versus watch party A tournament versus cast a tournament. If Pokemon invites me to cast a tournament, it's like, obviously I went to Toronto and whatever, but I think, yeah, I actually set like a goal behind the tournament. Like, what is the reason to go to the tournament? So try and win all the ics. Try and win a regional over in the. The OC region. Some people do it to try to qualify for Worlds. Yeah, I mean, if I go to enough tournaments, I'll probably qualify for Worlds and I'll compete at Worlds, obviously. Yeah, that's. I mean, I've never had, like, previously to this point, I never had goals for reasons to go to tournaments. So just go to every tournament because. Because my group went to every tournament. So we all just went to every tournament. And that was just kind of like, all right, we're just going to go to every tournament. And obviously, like, by going over to every tournament, I'll, like, get my World's invite, so I'll play at Worlds and so on and so forth. So previously I'd never set goals behind going to tournaments, but now that there's other reasons to not go to tournaments but still kind of participate in the tournament in some way, how do I pick between that versus competing? But I think that's got to be my. My reason moving forward to compete in tournaments versus just watch partying tournaments or whatever. And obviously this will be plenty of tournaments to watch, party, even if I compete more next season. But I'm going to try and be a little bit more next season. That's kind of my plan moving forward after playing in Melbourne. I'll stop Naic this year, I guess. But yeah, that's where I'm at. Melbourne was cool. What about you, Chip? What were you up to for the last week? Yeah, my week was pretty good as well. Pretty normal really. Nothing fancy happened to, no travel, anything like that. Hung out, spent some time with some family. I did go to a local tournament on Wednesday to look like Pokemon League Night, which was fun. I hadn't done that in a while. Played a little tournament, Played Raging Bolts, similar to Ian Rob's list. I went what x1 1, I guess tied one, lost one. So the tie I probably was gonna win. It was a pretty bit of. It was a bummer where I, like, was against the Cynthia's Garchomp, and I saw blocked the roserade, and I had to, like, draw into my night stretcher to recover the water energy. And I prize night stretcher had one left, and it's like, two turns to do it in turns of time. And just. I had a pretty good shot but didn't quite get there. So tied and yeah, lost to a honchkrow, which is not a fun matchup, but, yeah. And I'm playing in Indianapolis regionals this weekend, so that's one of the reasons I went to go play at the locals is because I'm just trying to, like. But it's so much easier to play on live. And so when I haven't been playing in person as much, it just feels, like, uncomfortable to sit down and play a tournament when I've, like, not been, like, physically holding the cards and, like, you know, shuffling and searching like that. So want to just get some reps in, as they say. Still not sure what I want to play this weekend. You were telling me you think Sarah Ledge could be kind of good. So that. That did. That piqued my interest a little bit, but probably not going that route again. Yeah, I thought about it for a second. That's. I literally, like, on Friday, all I did was, like, go over the results. Like, the whole day I was, like, just thinking about the. Thinking about what I wanted to play and, like, going over the results of the term. Everything I was, like, thinking about, I was like. From my experience with Sarah Ledge so far, this format, I feel like Sarah Ledge would actually be pretty good play. And like, I had played the deck a little bit early on in the format I never tried. Like, the Area 03 Drillbur build kind of just like, played like, a. A more standard build. But, like, the deck felt pretty good when I tried it previously. I don't know. I was like. I was like. I gave it a thought, but I was like, I. I would want to have, like, reinvested time into the deck before I committed to, like, playing it for the tournament. So I didn't give it that. I didn't really, like, ever put a list together or anything like that, but I don't know. I mean, I think there's, like, a lot of decks that seem like pretty good right now, but you just have to put the time into, like. Like find that next level to Them because a lot of them are, like, underdeveloped. Sarah Ledge being one of them. It is really interesting because it's like, Pult is the best deck and. But it doesn't feel as gatekeepy as a lot of best decks have felt in the past, you know, like broken Lugia, Regidragon. It's like all these other decks can beat Dragapult. Right. Dragapult is not. It's the best, but it's not. It doesn't feel oppressive. Right. Like, at least to me. I don't know how you feel about it. Yeah. Like, every deck can be built to, like, I think, be fine against Dragapult, but then they all like the. But it's not like you're overwhelmingly favored. Right. There's some decks out there, I guess, like, probably like the Megalopony deck now. Like, we're seeing a little bit more watchtower in the Dragon Pulse to kind of combat that obviously. And then, like, I don't stop Box is like, pretty good against Dragapult. But then when all these other decks going up against each. But it's not like you're like, you just auto win. So it's like, all right, yeah. At most, maybe you get like a 60, 40 against Dragapult. And that's not even that. That high of, like, an extra win percentage. Right. If you're winning 6, 6 out of 10, best 2 out of threes against them, but then all these decks against each other where they. A lot of them come up, you come up short against, like, half of the decks. Right. Against, like, half of those decks, you're just losing. It's, like, bad. It's like. And it's not even like a Dragon poll. You're like, I can kind of beat, like, you never feel like you're out of it at Dragon Pult, you always have solid lines into, like, every matchup. But if you're playing, I don't know, Lucario, and you go up against Team Rockets Mewtwo, you're just like, well, this just sucks. Like, there's not anything good here to, like, play towards. It's like, I just lose. Yeah. So that's why it is just like. I feel like it's almost. I think I feel like the worst part about Dragon Ball is that it's. It's mattress spread is so bulletproof. That's like, kind of like. The worst thing about it is that there's not, like, one deck that's like, I'm favorite against Dragon Pult, and I'm worse against some of the other stuff, but not to the extreme degree that all the other like decks kind of are. We have like a super big drop off against everything that's not Dragapult. Once you've built your deck to beat dragapults. Not everything, but like some things. But yeah, stuff like Reggie Drago and broken Lugia were like so much more oppressive because they just like they beat so many things so much more handedly. Yeah, like there's very few things that have even had like a slight chance against Lugia. And at those times too there was decks that were good against like what the second and third best deck were but like just could not with like just yeah, absolutely got destroyed by those two broken decks. Yeah, which is like why this format I feel like doesn't feel terrible because like you can still play any deck you want for the most part. You do just have to, you have to compensate decently heavily for dragapult. But if you, once you commit that, you know, you kind of just hope to not hit your other matchups and only hit your playable matchups and then you throw in the fact that, you know, even if you've got a 6040 into dragapults, well if they flip, you know, three for four on their crushing hammers, then all of a sudden it's not quite 6040 anymore, is it? Yeah, or they find you know, like the right candy crisping combos. There's like a lot of things that Dragon Ball players can play. Although it feels like more people are moving away from the right candies. But yeah, basically just dusk nor builds. It feels like true. Yeah, I guess like industrial builds can still overwhelm you in that way. But yeah, form doesn't feel terrible. We might have to wait for Dragon Ball to rotate before it actually seen like seeing the initial results from or Japan or seeing what people are saying about because they got pitch black or a beside this week. Right. It seems like Dragon Balls is still the dominant force over there. So we might have, we might have to wait till rotation. But at least, I mean to me the game doesn't feel terrible. Well, Quentin, one quick little announcement before we get into our main topics this week. There is going to be a final wave of registration for naic and I. I guess I shouldn't say wave because it's going to be just probably a couple of spots. I don't know how many. Probably not very many though. So may 7pm central. Definitely less than 100, probably less than 50 by. I don't know, it's probably a lot of. Probably a lot less. Probably a very few amount of spots. But if you're wanting to go still, there is still just one last opportunity. So a little bit of Hopium there for those of you still trying to register for N A I C. I do see someone else mention this as well. Yeah, if you're for sure not going and you were registered, make sure you unregister, you know, open up that slot for whoever else. If you're 100 not going and didn't remember to unregister, hopefully get your registration feedback and then open it up for someone else who can make it. But yeah, last slash change. I mean, this is like the effective. Yeah, it's not really a wave, but it's like the fourth opening now. Right. Because they had like already another one of these, I think, a couple weeks ago. Yeah, Obviously gonna be very few slots. Good luck. There was a pretty big update out of Japan. So one of the cool things that's happened the last two to three seasons has been we've seen a lot more players from the west part of the world outside of Asia go over to Japan to compete in their big Champions League tournaments toward got top 16 at 1. Fabian and Pedro and Rahul have all had deep runs at these tournaments. We've seen plenty of other players going and competing in them as well, which has been really cool to follow. You know, I. I think we all enjoy seeing the Japanese players come over and compete in our tournaments. And you know, we've seen some cool stories this season, like the last couple seasons, like Ryuki doing so well. Yoshiyuki, you know, winning regionals this season, getting top forward and IC as well. So it's been helping to make the game just feel more global. But there's been a change made in Japan where in order to now register for Pokemon trading card game tournaments and then also to purchase cards online, they're going to introduce a new identity verification system which uses my number cards, which from what I understand is basically like a residence card similar to like a license or a passport. So someone who's not a permanent resident of Japan or a citizen is unable to now register for these tournaments. We saw Rahul tweeting about it. Rahul, of course, for those who don't know, has been living in Japan for what, the last like six months or something like that at this point, I guess since January or so. I feel like competed in quite a few champions leagues. Has been kind of sharing his experience online, playing it Japanese local tournaments and stuff as well. Been fun to follow, but he's the one first person I saw posting about this saying that this is going to disallow him from participating in those tournaments for the time being. Yeah, it is kind of unfortunate. I, I talked to Rahul a little bit about there and it does, it does seem like it makes a lot of sense because there are a lot of like, like a ways people are using multi accounts from trying to participate in more tournaments than they should be able to. And then with like the, the scalping, reselling stuff, people trying to get as much product as they can. Yeah, I feel like that's a big part of it too. It seems like rahul made a YouTube video about it and I watched it and he said it's like a big thing where people from other countries outside of Japan, China, Korea will come to Japan to try to get product like on release weekend or like make accounts to try to get it sent and ordered and stuff like that. And so they're Japan, they're trying to just make sure that the people who they're making the game for get it first. It seems like, but it almost feels like the, it does seem like there is issues with the trading card events stuff, but it almost feels like it's a little bit of collateral damage to deal with the scalping issue. Yeah, yeah, it's definitely a little bit of both. But it feels like the scalping issue might be priority number one for sure. And it's just unfortunate because it is, it does seem like it's going to make it harder, if not impossible for that international competition to happen. And from what I had heard from talking to people, it seems like the, the, the, the. Some of, some of the players I feel like don't love it but the tournament organizers and stuff, they, I think they liked that international players were coming over and competing in their tournaments. I think they like the idea of that. I think it's just like a big thing. It's a, it's a. What do you. Where the game is headed, becoming more international? I mean Australia is basically which Japanese player is going to get an invite at every single of their tournaments at this point. So there. So it is because the game is becoming more international over here and it's cool. It's really cool to see on all levels and be cool to see it more happening in Asia, not just Japan, but even for like some of the Master Ball League tournaments. I know some players have been able to compete in those. I think it'd be cool to just see more of this registration be open up the way it is for TPCI tournaments. As far as I'm aware it's pretty easy for anyone to register for a tournament in TPCI. Like go on RK9 from any country and register when the registration goes live. As far as I'm aware, it's pretty easy for anyone to do that. It'd be really nice if it was just as easy for us to compete in these tournaments. It wouldn't be even that big. That many players I think would be trying to go over and compete in Japan and stuff. Like I would personally like if they opened up the lottery to anyone, they could even like do like theoretically and I'm sure there'll be some pushback from the players in Japan maybe with this. But like, like just an international lottery, like 100 slots going to players outside of Japan, like something like that for their Champions League stuff like and things like, I don't know, it'd just be cool. I think we should just be wanting more international. International's competition is good. We should want more of it, not less of it. And, and I don't think this change is specifically trying to prevent international competition. It's kind of like a unfortunate thing they have to do to solve problem, very real problems in the system that they currently have. So the international competition is kind of getting unfortunately collateraled. But it'd be nice for them to find a workaround for that because I think we should, we should just be trying to have more international competition in any way that we can. And we, and we even see that being not encouraged but like this season or is it last season, anyone who wins, like previously if you won a regional, you didn't even get your world's invite as a Japanese player, right? Yes. Before last season. Yeah, yeah, that changed last season. So it's being obviously like further encouraged. But I feel like this is like a step back but not in a way where it's like intentional. But there should be like at the same time they should be finding a solution to get more international competition at the same time. So it Feels a little unfortunate that they're not coming up with a solution for that while they're putting out this policy moving forward. Yeah. Hopefully something they can figure out some other option for to keep it opened up. It definitely. I mean even the current system, I mean it's not really meant for open international registrations at the moment. People just kind of have found little workarounds to be able to register. So even the people who are doing it, they're not doing anything wrong. But it's not like a super easy process. Yeah. Very convoluted. You kind of got to know someone who knows how to make it happen type situation. You know, there's no information really online about how to do it. Like you got to know someone who knows type thing. Yeah, yeah. So that's like already it's like difficult to begin with, but they. Yeah. Hopefully they just make it easy at some point in the future. Yeah. It does not seem like this is a change that is happening because of international competition. It's just like fully collateral because of it. Another big update was a update to the Tournament Rules Handbook, I guess the TCG Handbook. I don't know what the technical correct verbiage is for which section of the. I guess it is TCG Handbook. It says right here. But yeah, they tweeted out. Check out the summary of play Pokemon Rules and resources for Quarter 2 of 2026 summary of changes and under TCG Handbook, functional reprints are tournament legal upon obtaining the card, even if obtained during an expansion' pre release window. So of course the big story with this recently was Pokepad, a card that came out in Ascended Heroes. Ascended Heroes was a special set, very difficult to find cards for. And then Perfect Order came out, but was not tournament legal. There was the Houston Regional Championships in perfect order. Pokepad was printed. You could not play Perfect Order Poke Pads at the Houston Regional Championships. Even though pre releases had happened, people had obtained the cards through legitimate means. They were still not able to play them because the set had not officially been released yet. That is no longer the case. As soon as you legally obtain the cards through the pre release window, if they are legal for play in the standard format currently, AKA a reprint card, you can play them right away. So and this is like something we were like. I don't even remember if we came to a conclusion on it. I mean you were right for sure where it was like they changed the wording on that section of the handbook. I remember. But I mean this obviously clarifies that. No, that change did not like allow us to use pre release cards. But they thankfully did make this change. Now, although this is like another of those things where it's like so silly how long this took. I know it didn't conflict with like any other stuff. Set releases, right? There was no set release that happened where they like printed a card. Yeah, I don't think so. It is one of those things where it's like kind of silly how long this took. But yeah, thankfully they made they did the right thing. Like this is not even a question of like, what. What should this rule be? The rule should obviously be. This is like if you get the card, if the card is currently standard legal and you get a different version of it in the next set in a pre release, you should obviously be able to just play it at your next tournament. It's just not that big of a deal. So back on track, back where we should be. And I think I remember someone in the comment section, I don't remember if we discussed this at the time. Some of the comment section of that video where we discussed that said that's how it used to be. Like you used to be able to just pull a car from a pre release and you used to be able to just play it instantly. I don't know how far back they were talking about, but I don't know when it changed. But we're where we should be now. This is the correct way to approach things moving forward. So I'm glad they made this change. Yeah, same. Definitely a good update. Yeah, I mean the amount of like just kind of red tape and like layers and levels of approval that any of these changes has to go through in order to like get codified and put in the guidebook. There's just so many steps. It is a bummer it took so long. But I'm glad to see, like you said, that they did come to the correct conclusion and have made it so that. That this is not an issue moving forward. Any reprints in Pitch Black, I guess would be the next relevant one. I don't think so. No. No. Was there, Was there any reprints? What was. Well, Chaos Rising just dropped, so I guess. Dude, I keep wanting to call it Crimson Invasion. Gas Rising. Yes. Because the set abbreviation is cri. I don't know why I just keep wanting to call it Crimson Invasion. What was the set before this one? What did we just get? We just, we. We have Chaos Rising before that. It was Perfect Order. Oh, it was his Perfect Order. The last one. Okay. Okay. I guess this is like fine then for Some reason I thought a set had come out between previously and now, so I guess it's like this coincides with, like, the next set release, so. Oh, sure. I guess this was as early as it would have been changed. Yeah, well, I feel like when the. It would be nice, like, when the community's like, yeah, why is this a thing? Like, what is going on? For them to be like, you know what? Why is that going on? Yeah, let's, like, make a statement and then tell them it'll change before the next set release. Like that, like, they could respond to have responded sooner. Right, for sure. But set release didn't happen before the rule change, so it basically works out. It does kind of, I guess, like, for TBCI's track record, though, like, once again, that's like one of those moments where, I don't know, it's just like, it's a moment for them to kind of win favor with the community to just, like, be more. Because otherwise it kind of feels like we're in the same cycle of, like, we just never know what's going on. Everything seems like it's going to be like, they're never going to make, like, the appropriate adjustments. So I don't know, it's like, where they could win brownie points with the community to just, like, more aggressively respond to the situation. Right. They had plenty of time to have put this out sooner or, like, within the time span of when people are, like, talking about it. So listen, I just want. I don't want people to hate DCI to hate DBCI for no reason. We should, like, be annoyed with them for the correct reasons. We should make sure we know why we hate them. Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure. That's a joke. Joke. Yeah. No one. Okay. No, we should have legitimate reasons for why we're frustrated with them. When we're frustrated with them. Just be any reason, anything they do. All right, let's keep it rolling. We're kind of flying through the episode this week because we're already on to guess that flavor text where each week you or I picks a card, reads the flavor text from it, and has the other host try to guess which Pokemon is featured on that card. Would you keep score? And you get four points if you get the Pokemon correct without any use of lifelines. There are three lifelines we use. They are what's at the card is from what stage the card is. And read an attack name. And last week, Azul, you were unable to correctly guess. So our score remains 45 to 40. And this week is an opportunity for me to jump back in here is you have a card picked out for me. Any thoughts on the situation we find ourselves in as we get to the end of the season? No, I mean, as long as I can, you know, maintain what I've been doing the last couple weeks. Should be looking for. Looking for an easy dub in our first season conclusion. Our first season conclusion, AKA four years of the podcast. Yeah, but are you ready for this week's Labor Texture? I'm ready. Give it to me. It always scowls in an attempt to make opponents take it seriously. But even crying children will burst into laughter when they see Blank's face. Always scowls. One of the first Pokemon that popped into my mind was like Scraggy. Just like a little Pokemon that like, wants to be big and tough and taken seriously. What are some, like, first form fighting Pokemon as well? Maybe like Timber or Machop. These guys don't really have funny faces though. That's like a piece of this. You gotta have something with a funny face face. Let me get. I mean, it's definitely a basic. It feels like it's got to be a basic. Let me hear the flavor text one more time. First. Always scowls in an attempt to make opponents take it seriously. But even crying children will burst into laughter when they see Blank's face. What set is this card from? Aul Paldea Evolved. Paldea Evolved. Okay, so. Let me hear an attack name. Smash Kick. Me. I mean, it sounds like some fighting Pokemon. The only fighting Pokemon I can really think of from the set. Oh, man, I can't even really think. I'm thinking of our PAA Evolved Evolution series episode where you used a lichen rock or not a Lycanroc. A Crookedile deck. But that was all cards from Scarlet Violet Base set, I'm pretty sure. So not correct. Here it is. Pade Evolved. Not Paldean Fates. Right? But they evolved. Yeah, but they evolved. I'm just. I'm assuming this is a basic, so I'm not gonna use that one. I guess it could be like Makuhita or something like that. I can't really just put my finger on what Pokemon are in this set, unfortunately. Let me just hear the flavor text one more time. It always scowls in an attempt to make opponents take it seriously. But even crying children will burst into laughter when they see Blanks face. What set was the baby Tyrogue from? They came out early. Scarlet and Violets. Could it be Tyrogue? Smash Kick is the attack. I kind of want to say Tyrogue. I know there was a bunch of baby Pokemon in Obsidian Flames, which is the next set, but were there any impal. They evolved. Azul, I'm not going to use the last lifeline because I'm pretty confident this is basic. You know what? I'm gonna go with the Tyro Gazzle. Let's lock it in and see if that's right. All right, Chip. Final lifeline for those playing along. It was a basic Pokemon. It's not Tyro. It is Maschiff. Oh, well. What. What is that guy kicking on? He's got legs. Four legs. Yeah. Yeah. But he's just like, why is he. Why is he kicking? Smash. Dude. Why were there three mastiff before the first. This. The. The second Scarlet and Violet set? Oh, it's because there's two mastiffs in this set. They're just, like, printing, you know, like, there's so many Char Cadets, and like, they're just, like, printing basic Pokemon right now. I don't know what. You gotta have options. Maybe that's something that they're really. But also, many of them are just obviously terrible. Dude. 14 charcadet prints, but there are some reprints in here, I think. Yeah, there's. See, that's the hardest part about playing Sarah Ledge is figuring out which. Which Charcadette to play. Yeah, that is actually the hardest part. Yeah. Well, that's unfortunate. Why is it, though? I didn't think that. Did I spell it wrong? There we go. I was from Mega Evolution. What the heck was I? I was thinking of this guy, I guess, but that was way too long ago. Yeah. What was that played in? That was actually played in something. Ratty kick. Well, yeah. I feel like I remember this being played in something, too. Let's see. It's like to break a stalemate. I think it was, like, to, like, initiate. Like, you didn't want to draw a prize card, but you want to build up damage or something. Nobody laugh at the fact that I just spelled Tyro Grong on this website as well. Kind of embarrassing. Obs Again. Pidgeotto. Checkmates. Do you need 30? Oh, I remember that deck. Go to. Why was it played in here in the obstacle deck? Maybe there just wasn't anything better to do on your first turn. I don't know. What the heck is this guy doing? I completely forget why people played it. Check my deck. I think it made way more sense. Go look at, like, the Cameron Chinoi. Well, not Camera Shino San Diego. Look at the San Diego Bill Preston Ellis here You have to set up 30, then using the Ganadel, then you somehow abuse the 30. Look at how many Pokemon are in this deck. 31 Pokemon in this deck. Quite a deck right there, Man. What an era of the Pokemon TCG this was. Yeah, this definitely. There was too many good control cards and the late Coronary. Good cards, though. It's kind of cool. Good cards, right? Yeah. It gets to a point where it's maybe a little much, though. We're going too far. Yeah. Doll stall. Too far. Oh, one thing I remembered, I was gonna say is actually our title. Someone mentioned this comics. The title of the last episode actually is incorrect. Dude. No, it's not. It's not. It's not. What do you mean? Was Toronto not. Toronto was. No, it's in January. Oh, I thought it was in December. Oh, wait. I feel like I looked it up and it was in December. I'm tripping. So I did go to a tournament in 2026. I've already been to a tournament 2026. So, Chip, honestly, that's on me. Maybe our first all full clickbait title. I mean, we do. We do clickbait pretty hard, but where clickbait becomes not. I mean, I think clickbait is all in good fun up until you do something dishonest. And apparently I have unknowingly done something dishonest. I do apologize. It was. Yeah, it was unknowingly. I really did think Toronto was in December for some reason. I thought it was. I thought it was pre 2026 as well. And it was a decent time ago for sure. And it was literally in the first two or it was like the third weekend of the. So you weren't too far off. Yeah. Second third weekend of the year. Close. That's tough. Wait, so how many championship points do you have now? What did you get at Toronto? Top hundred into top 32 or top 128 into top 32? So how many points is that? Let's see. That is. You have a 128 and a top 32. So you have 240 points. What do I need for the ace trainer thing? You have the ace trainer thing. You need 200. Oh, let's go. All right, cool. So you're gonna get, you know, 500 plus card mailed to you at the end of the year. Congratulations. Thank you. What do I. What? I think it's like 7, 800. Could I get top eight? Naicing in my world zone right now. Is that 600 points? Top eight? That's literally what I was just pulling up. So you have. What did we say? 201 40? Is that what I said? Wait, you have 80, you said plus 160. Yeah, 240. So 240. And then if you get top eight, it's 380. So that's 620. That's not enough. Oh, no. So it still has to be to the top four. Or if you won two cups, then you'd be at 720, but 720, I don't think is safe. I talked to some people about it. Three cups. I don't even know if there'll be three cups near me that are happening between now and an aic. It's not that many. Yeah, so it's also being a top four. That's fine, though. Needed to, you know, win more in Melbourne, I guess. Yeah. Yeah, I could have made it. So I need the top eight. I got top eight. Melbourne. All right, Melbourne. Speaking of Melbourne, we do have the results of the event to look at. We don't have any results yet from the Lima Special Championships, but if we get them, we'll bring them up next week, should they still remain, I guess. I don't know. How relevant will they be? Because it'll be a new format, right? Yeah, we'll moved on by then. So, chaos rising, I guess. Real quick, before we get into the tournament. You wanna. Is there anything about your tournament one run you wanna talk about? Any memorable matches or anything like that? I will. The person who I hit in round one actually got me my third honchkrow for my deck. So shout out. Noah for Noah's friend had a. An extra honcho. Wait, what was the situation here? Was it like you got paired, you sat down like, dude, do you have an extra honchkrow? No, no, I had, like, was it. I played a couple games with them at the venue the day before, and I was like, I am missing one honchkron from, like, what I need. And they sent me a message. I was like, yo, I have a friend who's got a Honchkrow if you still need one. I was like, yeah, sure, yeah, I'll take it. I was still hunting it down. Tim found most of the extra. Shout out to Tim as well. Tim hooked me up with some Hunchkrow cards. And then I was. It was short one hunch. Crow still after him helped me out, but no way. I had the hookup. And then I hit Noah round one, which was. Which was funny. I feel like that matchup could probably be a little scary for you, honestly, because he could just like. Yeah, blow you up before you have a chance. Yeah. No one ever drew like, an aggressive start, but it can be a scary matchup because, like, turn two, they can be knocking out two Pokemon. And getting to the 330 that early on can also be a little bit tough as well. But I was able to pull out pretty easy. One hit KOS on the. On the Starmies early on. And there was never, like, multi dust nors in play to have to worry about before I got my board at a range of like, the dust clop snipes and stuff like that. So did you talk much in the. You didn't mention much about, like, what really led to you deciding on Honchkrow as the. Oh, yeah. The deck you went with. Yeah, I mean, I was just trying to come up, like, I was thinking about Zorark. I was thinking about. I almost just played dragapult. Russian Hammers. I almost played dragapults. I really wanted to play something like the Festival Lead or Zork or Alakazam. But when I thought about like, I was like, okay. And I think they all, like, I think I could do fine with. They all have, like, their own flaws, like Alakazam. And I solely. I'm like, less confident into Dragapult than something like the Honchkrow and then something like Zorark or what's the other deck? I was thinking about Zorark or. Or something like a Zorark like, has like, a lot of flaws into matchups outside of the Dragon Ball matchup. But I was like, contro kind of beats like everything outside of Dragon Pulse except for like, like Festival leader, unfavored against. But, like, that's not like. I actually was decently popular. I sat again. I sat. I saw it next to a lot of festival leads, and I actually play against any. So with all that in mind, I was like, I definitely think the Honchkrow matchup against Dragon Ball is way better than people think it is. And you kind of beat most other decks that aren't Dragon Pult already. I guess out of like these matches here, my. The most notable matchup was against Jade with the. The slow king deck. That was like a. A super close set. That's a pretty tough matchup for Honchkrow. It's hard to come overcome multiple kirums in a row. She was playing a pretty interesting list as well with like, trolley and stuff like that. So really, really close set. Intense set against Jade. But Those are probably my most notable Games was hitting no. 1 Round 1 after he helped me find the Honchkrow and then the set against Jade. For sure he played Slow King at a locals as well before this tournament, right? I did. There was a 1k 1k plus it ended up being tournament on Thursday night. I played Slow King there because I couldn't really. I was like. I kind of like the idea of slicking. The thing is like the reason I end up on Honcho as well is like I had confidence in Honchkrow as a deck more so than most other. I had confidence in Dragapult too. Like if I rolled up a Dragon ball hammers I'd be confident in the deck. But like I didn't have confidence in like Zoroark or Slow King or any of those other decks. They were like they're all fine. I'm not like like okay, I have like an edge because I know the deck better. The deck's matchups better than my opponents are going to. Or I could have some like cool inclusions in the deck or something like that. But like I was like Zora could be cool. Slow King could be cool. Festival league could be cool. Alexander could be cool. I did play Slow King at the that tournament the on Thursday night and I did go what five and one with Slow King. I think got some cash. I actually played against. I played Charlie in the last round of this term. I played Charlie in round six of that tournament as well. And actually speaking of memorable matches, it got into a really weird comeback situation for him where he made a big comeback after I got the board wipe with the kirum and then I needed. I played a Lily. I needed three pieces to pull together a kirum attack or a club. Oh to pull together a clefairy attack. I needed night stretcher energy wonders patch. I Lily hit one piece and out my deck with whatever I had. And then off of run errand. I needed energy. Oh my gosh. I out of like a 25 card deck with like four or five energy and two night stretcher left. I hit Energy. Nice stretcher. Absolutely disgusting. It was a pretty, pretty funny moment for sure. Well, not if not for Charlie. No, not for Charlie. And then I ended up beating him again in the the main tournament as well in the last round there. But yeah, I was like I don't know, I just had no comp. Like I was like I like the idea of Slow King. It's a cool deck. But am I really confident that I'm gonna be able to, like, win the tournament with the deck? Not really. Like, I. I think like we actually saw there was a 8o slow can go into phase two who ended up missing cut. We'll talk about the term results here a little bit more in a second. But, like, I mean, it did well soaking overall, I think had a pretty good showing actually at the tournament. And I think there might be something for all these decks that I didn't play that I was like, thinking about. I think there might be something more to them. I just didn't have confidence in them because I didn't put that much time in with them. So supposedly there was an indie deck. I would have played it, but supposedly there was an undefeated Slow King in Peru as well. Oh, really? Yeah. Interesting. Yeah. So Slow game was kind of showing up a little bit maybe. I mean, it does have a pretty decent Pulp matchup. I mean, Pulp really can't do anything against the Kieran board right at this point, the way it's built. Yeah, the problem is, like, against the hammer build specifically, they can then just trap that Slow king in the active. That's what kind of happens. Yeah. And like my build that I played at the the 1K tournament, I had boomerang energy. This build here we're looking at has the power glasses, so those are like pieces to help. But like against the crushing hammer build, maybe both, like a step further, maybe I missed a lot of it. The reason I like the Boomerang Energy is kind of like a two for one. But the Power Glass, sometimes you do get those situations where like they try and trap the slughing for multiple turns in the row. The Power glass is like constantly regenerating the energy, which can be nice. Oh, there's like, value to both. I feel like they have their own value. Well, let's look at the metagame breakdown from Melbourne here. So no surprise, Dragon pult leading the way. 25 though, so maybe a little bit down. People figuring out other decks they like. Maybe in the format a bit. Zor and Meganium Archetypes, both on the up here. Raging Bolt, I think kind of a surprise. Not the second most popular deck. Yeah, I kind of thought Raging what was just going to be the second most popular deck, like all the way through this format, but no dropping quite a bit here. And like you mentioned last week, and I agreed. I think I thought we were gonna see the numbers start to climb. Like it was going to start to separate itself as the second most popular deck. I still think it's going to be over 10 in indie. I think Raging was going to be really popular in indie over 10. I don't know. Now I have less confidence in it after seeing the results here. But this is like the first tournament in the region, so that's like always something we have to like, kind of keep in mind like the, it feels like the metagame does develop a little bit more. The more tournaments are that happen, especially within like a certain time frame as well. Like if there's like a tournament in North America and then it's a month till the first tournament in Australia, they'll. Their metagame will develop more around what happened in America. But we're kind of going like back to. Back to back here with these tournaments pretty, pretty quickly. I want to look at. Well, while we're talking about the, the metagame, we could go through one of our predictions here that we had where we predicted what we thought the, the next three most popular decks were going to be. I thought it was going to be Raging Bolt, Boppity Lucario. You thought it was going to be Raging Bolt, Mewtwo Lopanine. We're both wrong as it was. What was it? Zoroark and then Ogre Pond, Meganium. Yeah, yeah. And then Lucario at the fourth. Yeah. Which I do think is a bit of a surprise. I was giving basically no respect to Lucario, but I don't know how many of the people were on this build. But this seems like the new wave with Lucario right now is like a dead on sparse soul rock engine. So like, I mean the best two draw options outside of Dracloak in the format are these. Do you know what the. What's the story with Rahul? Why did he not have this guy? Or what's the deal? I guess. Oh, you want a poffin for this one? Okay, I see. Yeah, yeah, yeah, sure. Okay. Okay. She's out here. Like why are you throwing? Why is he throwing here? He's not a Briola. Oh yeah. You want to play the. You have poffins, so you want to get to get the 70s. And I'm like, we've looked at, I think we talked about built it like this on the podcast. I'm like, why play this build unless you're gonna play something like Wally or Acerola's mischief. And we see Rahul is including at least the wallies in here, which makes sense. Makes a lot of sense to like play. Like if you have all this extra draw power through the dun Sparses. Like usually the lists are just like four bosses orders. It's like, what do we just play Hariyama at that point? What are we doing? So yeah, I could see this becoming like one of the ways that people approach the deck, but people got. Yeah, you got to get like more. You got to bring in some new. The. The heroes cape, the wallies. Like I said, I like the. Like, I think Asia rolls one of the best cards in the. In the game right now, but it's like really hard to utilize. Man, he was beaten up on some pulse though with this deck. Yeah, I talked to him. He said he was very confident in the. In the Pulp matchup for sure. Like, that was the one of the reasons to play the deck. So if you're looking for a deck that's probably like 60, 40 plus against Paul, I mean, this might be it right here. This is the cardio build. Very interesting. Also has the Genesect in there. Take away that unfair stamp, just allow you to build up those big hands that you can then use the Wally from more consistently. Dude, I just don't know how to feel about Genesects and I mean, I guess you do see a decent amount of cards, but it's like there's only three tools and it's like want to air balloon for sure as well. You see a lot of cards though. Like you have the Dunn Source and Soul Rock Lunatone. You're seeing a lot. Yeah, I don't know. I mean, also they don't want to just unfair stamp you aggressively. They're trying to wait for a certain turn. Right? Sure. So you have more time. It doesn't have to be like second turn of the game. Unfair stamp for them. Exactly. You almost want them to do that. And then because if they're not attacking, you just like find a lily and the lily like literally got you out of the unfair stamp. So also like doing stuff like shutting down, enriching energy or. I mean, the thing is the Genesect is just good against everything because taking my opponent's a spec is just good. Right. It was never bad. Never bad to be Genesecting. There are a few things scarier in the format it feels like than a hero's caped Mega Lucario. I will say that. Pretty big lad. It's pretty big. It's pretty big. Ogre Pomeganium continuing to kind of have a bit of an uptick here. I actually wanted to look here at the Zoarks. Is this just the Safwinte? It looks very similar to Safuentes list. Something's different though. Yeah. Christian put the. He put The Petron Ex in there, but no, no emojis. I did talk to him about that because I was like, why are you playing a patch without the watch? He's like, but you did tell me it did win him. I think his last round, his opponent sobbed his badoo, and he's able to go, like, pets bring up the zork. Whatever. It does get around like this. There's, like, a big play in the against the slot box Matchups or Raging Ball whatever is sobbing the badoo. Like, you want to use badoo to slow them down to kind of set pace, then they sob it. But then that allows you to just go petch Zekrom knockout immediately as a response. Otherwise, things can get a little bit weird. But, yeah, it did feel like a lot of people gravitated towards the. The Marco Cefuentes builds what I think makes a lot of sense because Zora Cordy kind of struggles against the one prize stuff. So, like, even though you play the Darmanitan, it's not like you just beat them or anything like that. Things are just like. It makes. It's like making your deck, like, worse against Dragapult, basically because you never used our manaten against Dragon Pults. So you're making your having yourself have a worse dragapult matchup to, like, have a better matchup against sex you're already unfavored against. So is it really. Is it really worth it to play stuff like the Darmanitan, the Hermione build, I guess, and then Ogre Pond on the upswing, the Arboliva getting top four. But it does feel like most people are playing high drapple these days. As the alternate attacker in this deck, I think it makes sense for honestly overpowering him to get more popular because the Hydrapple does have a lot of hype right now, or, like, did have a lot of hype leading into the tournament. And for, like, a lot of people that were, like, undecided, it becomes, like, a cool new deck to consider. And then for all the Arboliva players who are kind of down on their luck being like, man, this is. I just. I'm not. Not putting it together now. Now you switch to the Hydrapple, and things feel so much better. And I was kind of a sleeper on the Hydra apple, honestly, but see how it plays out a little bit more against, like, Dragapult, Even the high grapple is, I think, pretty good. Yeah, for sure. Just having, like, a big body is just, like, kind of nice, for sure to just, like, give yourself another out to winning the prize trade, you can either unfair stamp your opponent, hope they whiff their combo. You can hit them with just a high drop with 330 hp. And now they have to find boss to actually keep up in the trade. The healing can be nice too, you know. Can matter a lot for. For especially like on your ogre pawns, like healing them after a 10 ping. Right. From a phantom dive. Yeah, it was actually funny. I've played a little bit with this deck this week, and it's like I go through my first turn and a half and I'm like, dude, this like nothing is gonna come together here. This deck seems terrible. And then all of a sudden I end my second turn with a high draplin play that's knocking out my opponent's active Pokemon. Honest. Like, it just somehow it. There's no engine here. Right. You're really living off Lily's determination. Maybe a fez draw the one or two cards from a teal dance. Right. Depending on how many you have in play. But it just somehow ends up being enough. It's kind of wild. Yeah. A lot of it just comes through like the. The car generation from bug catching set. Like card, like card advantage. Card value in the Pokemon TCG doesn't really exist the way it does in other card games, but sometimes you play a deck like this where it's like. It all kind of comes down to like, if bug catching sets are hitting two pieces that are like, good in the situation, you can really like bring together some huge plays with the deck for sure. And then I think another reason we didn't maybe see as much success from this deck over the weekend. A lot of people were playing Moltres in their Dragon Pulse as kind of like a response to a little bit of the hype of the Hydra Apple. Yeah. Well, speaking of Dragon Ball, we'll go ahead and just hop into the results of the event, which was won by Japanese player Hiromu, who was playing Pult Hammers with the Moltres. Double Badoo here as well has a watchtower. Yeah, here it is. It's Dragapult and Hiramu for anyone who's not familiar is the player who won the Champions League with Fraligator a while back now, last beginning of last year, I believe. Yeah, he's had some of the results since then as well, and played what a lot of people consider to be the best deck and the best way to play the deck. And I think it's the best way to play the deck as well. Crushing Hammer, Dragon Pulse. Nothing too crazy. Didn't play the Dunsparce, which I didn't realize. Both top lists here or Crushing Hammer builds without Dunspars. Other notable inclusions. Like I said, a lot of people were on that Mole trace double Badoo and this is actually. I feel like something we talked about on the podcast last week is like, when do we get back to just playing two Badoo and Latias? I don't know if we'll ever go back to the Ladias. But like, I think the like the value of Badoo in the Dragon Ball mirror is like super, super high. And then obviously you can't go wrong with it in other matchups. Increasing your odds of starting it or not pricing it by playing a second one. Doesn't seem bad. Or just using it twice. Right? Just being able to go between them. Yeah. And there's like played the Watchtower as well. Like I said, there was like a lot of Watchtower at the tournament or the. The lopany deck, specifically in the Dragon Ball decks. What is this? Amy Jones with a the Dunsparce control deck? Well, it's. It's Alakazam. How did this get called the dumb sparse control? It's prioritizing the. What does the behem do? It's punching his swinging. I was like, I just saw this on Hiromu's matches. I was like, well, intriguing. But yeah, I mean, played a lot of different stuff. Not that many poles, honestly. Just four poles. Five bolts. It looks like. Yeah. Five pole total. Including. Gareth Murphy who got second place with Crushing Hammer Moltres Watchtower at 10 energy. So no, dawn had the extra energy. Only one Badoo. The finals was not very well, the finals was kind of exciting. It was actually funny sitting in the venue watching it because they had the names but backwards at first. So I thought Gareth was the one sniping with Fez at the beginning in game one. But then it was obviously, you want to be rooting for the local. I was with some of the local players that we're rooting for. The Australian, obviously. But what's the sentiment in Australia about the Japanese players coming down and yoinking dubs? I mean, they don't really care, I don't think. Yeah, they don't really care that much. It is like. And they understand as well, like the Japanese players that are coming over are of a higher caliber than like an average player. Right. Whether it be in Australia or Japan. Like these are like tier 1 TRS players. The majority of them are tier 1 TRS players coming over to Try and win these tournaments. So it's going to make it harder or the results don't. Like, they kind of make sense. Right? I think. I think they just understand that it's. Yeah. Winning their own tournaments is going to be a lot harder. It was a lot harder this season. It's gonna be a lot harder moving forward. More and more Japanese players are going to keep coming to these events because. And we saw it from. We're not gonna look at the results too much. But like, Daichi, like went to Peru. I think there's another Japanese player who went there as well. I think he got top eight. But like, they're going to these events to try and get their. Like their intention is to win these tournaments. Like, you see Daichi tweeting and he's like, I'm gonna get my world's invite. Every time he goes to like a one of these major tournaments. Like, their goal is to win these tournaments. They're playing for their world's invite. Like, they're going all out to try and get the world tonight. They're not just like showing up to their local regional to like just playing it, whatever. Like, this is like very serious for when they attend these major events. So Dutch, he's gonna have two more shots, I believe, to get his world's invite. He's gonna have Japan championships and Naic. So we'll see if he's able to pull it out. Yeah, they have the caliber of players that are going to the events are like very, very high caliber players, obviously. I mean, you look at this, we got Hiromu Champions League winner. I've never heard of. I've seen anything. I've seen Sean's name before. I've never seen Soda or Tyson, but right under that. Yeah. Cato and Yoshiyuki Arai. Like, these are players we've seen have top level placements in events before. Sean's got some finishes outside of Japan. Soda, same story here was at like, who just won literally the most recent Champions League. He was at this tournament. Like, it's gonna get really hard to win these Australian tournaments, to be honest. Like, And then there was Sean here on a polt nor build. Yeah, the polar getting up there. Watchtowers. Yeah, you go with the double. Monkey Dory actually does have to the. Is it three dark as well? Nope. Two. Oh, okay. Interesting. It's like a little. It's just a little bit help for the prizing factor. Like you could play a third dark. You could play a second monkey Dory. Whatever. One seems to make the most sense. Just like mitigate the pricing of your monkey dory for the mirror match a little bit. And like the pulp nor build I will say like I pull more is better into everything that's not the pulp mirror. If your opponent has crushing hammer but you are unfavored into the crushing hammer pulp build. So like that's like the trade off you make when you play Paul Nore. It's not by like an extreme I would say but you're unfavored against pult hammers. You're more favored against like everything. Like the nor helps you against literally every matchup that is not pulp mirror if they have hammers basically. Not that the hammers are bad against other stuff. Then we've got this Meganium Arboliva deck pretty similar to like a very early build of this that we saw start of the formats energy switch in here. Yeah, I was gonna say like none of the cars that people have been like pushing in the deck recently which is like Scuba Cyclone and Owl and all that kind of stuff. Just kind the Celebi. I guess that's the one thing we saw from that Champions League build that a lot of people were playing. There was a badoo. But honestly the Celebi just makes. I'll be just good man. Selby is a really good card. It makes as much sense in this deck as a high grapple deck. I feel like although this deck is trying to be a little bit more aggressive I guess through the arbor leva. Right. But if you go second on your first turn, you're not doing anything else anyways. May as well reverse time, set up for the following turn. Yeah, not much disruption running around in the format right now. So it's like you're just going to get to set up through this basically. Yeah. I was a little surprised to see this build place. Like if I had to predict a Meganian build to make cut, it would have been the high drapple. Yeah, it's not like a shock that this build made cut but I was like I. I would have predicted the high grapple for sure. But I mean this deck like it just feels like the hydropo build is the better way to go with. But obviously our believa has its values. Not a bad card. Raging Bolts. This looks like the Ian Rob. Oh, not quite the end. Rob 60. There's only three Area 0 and an iron leaves. I think that might, might be the only difference here. Yeah, very close to. Very close to it obviously can always be some modifications moving forward, but this is Definitely standard here as well. Yeah, definitely like standard. Raging bolt though, right? Nothing crazy in it. Oh, yeah. No Pacimian, no Persimmon and fourth king. So it's minus Passimian, minus area zero, plus leaves plus Kang, no Sota with pull the Dunspars. This looks similar. We saw a lot of. We'll go through some more list here. A lot of people actually went down to the three hammers to make room for the Moltres and second Purdue and stuff like that. Yeah, this looks pretty similar to the. To Hedrick's list. Just like minus a hammer plus a mole trace, basically. Yeah, yeah. And has the Dunspars in here. Like we saw the top two lists not playing that had done sparse, which was definitely interesting to me because I felt like that really helps the flow of the deck to like kind of have everything you want. Always. A little surprised to see the. The lack of the Duns force in all the builds. Tai say with a poker pond box. A little slot box action. Yeah, yeah. Only one. Dude, there's no Pokemon in here. How do we find our Pokemon? It has to be Serena. Like we're going like turn go second zero Brocks. Yeah, this is like not a very aggressive list at all. You can still obviously attack turn one going second. But you're. You're probably looking for Brocks and Cyrano more often. One teal mask. That's kind of nuts. Very heavily on the crispin. But with that as well though, like you need to Brock's or Cyrano first to like get your Pokemon and then Crispin from there on out. Yeah, very interesting. And that's kind of what ends up happening with these. This engine of deck most often anyway is to set up. You basically have to see Reno like. And sure, sometimes you make something happen with a energy switch play, but it just doesn't really realistically come together like all that often. No, definitely not. It's like sub 50% it feels like. And then Silas with Pult, Blazan with. Oh, your favorite card is all. Let's go. The baby Blaziken. It's around. It's in there. Rounds out our top eight. Yeah, I wouldn't say I'm like shocked to see ball players getting up there because obviously it's still like a pulp deck. But I definitely think this is the weakest way to play Paul right now it feels like straight pulp kind of just doesn't exist. Well, that's not true. We saw it a lot at Utrecht, actually. Well, it's straight pulled, not just pulled hammers Is that not like the same deck? Not really, though. I was about to say that, but then I was like, if you looked at the U track results, that's not true. Right. Because there's a lot of people playing with no hammers, but no Dustin or blazing as well. So we'll see how true is that going to be moving forward. Yeah. Yeah. I think I did even mention when we were looking at you trucked, it did feel like. I mean it felt like you tried to say maybe still behind a format because people were still like there was also still a lot of hammers. I guess in Cut we saw some. I guess we saw some. Yeah. Straight Pulse. I would say they're either. Right now, I'd categorize them as two different decks. We'll see what happens. At Indie though. I. I feel like everyone's going to be on Hammers or Nor. Oh yeah. Moving forward. And there'll be the Blaziken. They'll be like, I guess a little bit of Blaziken and straight pulp. No hammers. Like as like outliers. Yeah. I was wondering if Blaziken seemed kind of good because, I mean, in theory, you know, they discard your energy with crushing Hammer. You can get it back. Right. Get caught back up in the energy exchange with Blaziken and it also. If the Hydra Apple deck is picking up steam, it's pretty good in that option, that matchup as well. I don't think. I don't think it actually matters too much in the Hammer against the Hammer build. Like, it doesn't really. Like, it's like sacrifice so much bench space and like resources to develop the Blazer kid that you're not actually gaining an edge by the time you're both punching with Dragon Pulse just kind of on the same playing field. Yeah. But sometimes in the Blaze game build, you can punch sooner with Dragapult because I guess that is not really true because of Badoo. Right? I was gonna say because you have candy. It just. Just doesn't actually come together like that at that point. If that's the goal. Would playing something like the Tord build from Prague with the three candies not just be the better way to go? Yeah. It just feels like. Yeah, it feels like the Blaziken is best when like you. You really want that as like your extra attacker. When you're like Blaziken as an attacker is really good in the current metagame, that's when you want to be playing Dragon Ball Blazer. Can I feel like you know what would be really cool is on the front page of Limitless, if Robin added, like, a deck leaderboard or something like that where you could see which decks had the most entries of the current format. We could be like, I guess you put a bunch of stats behind that, right? Yeah. Like a format leaderboard. Yeah, something like that. Where you, like. I don't know. If we look at. You kind of already do that on labs, though, right? Where you select all the tournaments in the format. Well, you can't see, like, I'm talking about seeing this, like, a 60 leader board, so you can see how many from the six from a certain 60. Yeah, yeah. Like, what is the most popular, most successful 60 of a given format? Check the haunch, actually. I think I saw. Yeah, yeah, that was one I was gonna look at, and I feel like it's gonna just keep going up to you've joined the ranks. There was a decent amount of Melbourne running it, right? Seven. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, this probably. I mean, this feels like. I don't know how you would improve this list, really. Did you feel like there was anything you would change about the list if you were to want to run it back in Indy? Would you play the same 60? Maybe cut a roto stick for, like, a pokey? Like, a little bit more access to Proton would be nice, because obviously, the roto sticks aren't super reliable. That'd be, like, the only thing, though, I think. Yeah, maybe just, like, one rotor stick for one poke a year, but the rotor sticks are pretty good. I did have some, like, double triple supporter hits that, like, were impactful to, like, win games, but I could have also played more games by finding Proton more often. So, like, that maybe. It feels like if you do not play Proton on your first term of that deck, you're not having a fun time. Generally, you can definitely recover, but it does make things difficult. I'm not gonna lie. Hitting the Proton is pretty good. Like, yeah, having Proton versus not having Protons, like, a pretty big difference. Yeah. I even had games where I would, like with Proton turn one. The thing is, like, the price trade is so favorable, so I would, like, play Proton turn two. Because I was like, well, I whiffed to turn one, but it's like, I need to get my bench. I think this 60 is gonna go crazy at Indy this weekend. I think we're gonna see. I think anyone's gonna make any of the. Any changes, though. No. I think there's gonna be 20 Indianapolis names on this list. The Rob Bolt, Rob Bolt the Dragon Pulse are a little different because like it's format to format. So easy to change like one or two cards or metagame to metagame, I should say. I feel like a lot of people could copy the Hiromu 60 though. Yeah, this does feel pretty good. Maybe the Watchtower gets cut out moving into Indy, but I feel like the Bunnies and that's just so much of done sparse like. And he's also like pretty good against slot box. Right. Taking away Kangaskhan, taking away Meowth on a judge or unfair stamp turn is like a pretty powerful. So it's Bolt. Never mind. We're keeping the wash hour. Leave it in there. Run it. All right. This is it. Perfect. Well, the dawn is the iffiest card for me, I guess. I feel like fine. There's probably a decent amount of times where it does literally nothing in a game. Yeah. Without like in Dust nor builds. Like if you look at Natalie's build, I think Natalie played two dawn actually in Polt Nord like has so much more value in Polnore than it does or in like the Blaziken build. Yeah. Just versions where you have to Natalie end up. Yeah. Like double dawn in here. Versions where you have two stage twos. Yeah. More than one option for the Dawn. Yep. Yeah. There's a lot more value in. In this kind of in the dust storm build and it's not terrible in a non dust storm build, I think. And I could. I think you make the argument specifically it was like kind of probably leaning towards like inclusions for the mirror second Purdue Dawn. They're not bad cards in any matchup, but specifically it feels like the Mirror match is where they see the most value for sure. I don't know. We'll see what people do moving forward with that. But the dawn feels like the weakest card in this 60. So if you're looking to like add something like another tech card for a certain situation or matchup, I think that'd be the card to get cut. Be the dawn second Judge another stadium fourth Grispin. What if you played the Abra to get the risky ruins damage constantly. I guess you don't cycle it back to the Active enough to. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, if you keep your boo on board Ben Jabber retreat the Badoo cycle. That's two bench spaces though it's probably not. That is like another thing I guess without. Without playing the Dunsparce that you lose. Not that it's like that big of a deal though. Like I feel like you can still generate a lot of damage from your sea ruins without having to non sparse. It's kind of like to break stalemates or like prolonged like board trap plays where you like bring something up and you're. You need to lock it in the active and generate ruinous damage to like make a comeback. Well, let's recap our predictions. We already did the one of most popular decks in cuts or not in cut in the metagame. Our other ones. What was Azul's placement going to be? Azul's modest with his top eight. Guess I was going all in on the Azul dub. The Azul will take over. I don't think I would have picked it though if you had told me you were gonna play Hunch crow. I'm not gonna lie. I almost made I was in a good spot to make top cut at the tournament. What do you mean? Yeah, well you lost three games so you can't lose three games and make cuts. I don't know what you mean. True. That's fair. That's fair. You can't do that now there and then. Our last prediction was highest placing high drapple. I said top eight. There was a our believer deck there. Yeah, It's a top 16. There was one in top 16, right? Or it was. There was one in top 16. Yeah. So shift the only one to walk away with a prediction dub. Easy dubs time around. I do expect to see more of that in India as well. I guess. The Hydra apple. Yeah, where that goes. And speaking of which, moving on to indie. Where do we feel like this meta game is right now? It's like obvious pulse. It's gonna be the most popular deck. Feels like it's gonna be mostly the crushing hammer build, the Hedrick 60 or maybe even something similar to Hiromu here. Is there much reason to play any of the other builds? You know you talked about Dusk Snore being a good option into a lot of stuff, but if you're just folding the mirror most of the time. And that's what the data shows as well. If you look at matchup data, Polt Nor is just losing to hammerpolt pretty consistently. What are the actual numbers? It was not good in Utrecht. At least let me look at it in Melbourne. This is some straight p. I guess there's not like a individual classification for hammers. It looks good here though. Yeah, it's not looking too bad. Hang on. Let's see. Oh, I forgot you could do this. Right? You can do like. Yeah, yeah. Frog. Because there was no hammer. Yeah. Pulse Hammer Pult had not been unveiled into the world yet. Please turn the van craping off though. That is a good point. We're getting there. Yeah. 40 win rate. Yeah. Straight bolt or Pult. I'm assuming most of these Straight Pulse is pulled hammers also pulled. The Dunsparce will have hammers sometimes because like Hedrick would be. Yeah, it's probably classified as dragapulted on sparse. Yeah. So it is. Yeah. It does lose. It does. Paul Hammers has the edge to. Against Paul Moore for sure. Like, and the thing is about the Hammers as well. They're good in like every matchup. They're like good against everything. You can create awkward and interesting plays in literally every matchup with the Crushing Hammer. So it's not like you're like only playing them to beat other Dragon Pults. I think the way that Hedrick talked about the cards, I think I saw him talk about on Twitter where it's like Dragon Ball has like four open spots right now. And why would you not just designate those to the cards that are kind of seem to be the best in the mirror, which seems to be Crushing Hammers and they're just. They're good against everything. Like, if it literally is four free spaces, I think every deck would play just four question Hammers if you could because they're not bad against anything. Pick off energy against Slot Box and Raging Ball before you go into an unfair stamp turn or a judge turn to close out the game. You can do really weird stuff against like Alakazam specifically where you can like remove their only energy and play. Then gust something up, then punch something, but not KO it's. Or like you get rid of their wondrous patched energy off the bench or whatever so that they can't use enriching after you unfair stamp them. Like they're good against everything. So it's like I don't see a real good argument to not play the Crushing Hammers when the best. The most popular deck and the deck that the most good players are going to play is Dragapult. So it's hard to argue against Hammers and argue for Dustin right now. And those are the only two builds where I think you can have an argument because I feel like the Blaziken build, there's not enough of the other decks that are popular enough to warrant Blaziken. Moltres also does a lot of what Blaziken does in most matchups where you'd want the Blaziken. And then the only other thing you could make an argument for and I haven't played enough with it. I would currently side that you do have the space for Crushing Hammers. I know there's some believers out there who think you're just wasting four deck spaces. I mean, obviously I think that's a little bit silly to say. Why play 56 cards, right? We saw a tord kind of have that sentiment on Twitter post LA results. I know he doesn't probably truly think that, but he obviously does not like playing cards like Crushing Hammer. Yeah. So like playing straight Paul without dust nor without Crushing Hammer just kind of seems like you're limiting your potential in the deck. As well. So it does feel pretty bad to sign up for a tournament. And like, I don't think anyone wants to roll into a tournament and accept the fact that they're going to win or lose games based on a 5050 flip. Yeah. Like in the moment, like, it all culminates to this. One coin flip with Crushing Hammer doesn't feel good. No, I agree. I mean, like I said at Melbourne, I almost played pulled hammers. If I was going to Indian playing Paul, I'd be playing pulled hammers. Not only I'd want to find something that's not Paul, but if I was playing a Dragon Ball, it'd be bold Hammers. I just don't see a good argument for Baltimore right now. Unless you have like some read on the metagame that like gets you to that conclusion, you're gonna play Pulp. Probably should be playing Ball Hammers feels bad, but kind of where we're at, I will say we've been seeing like, and I think this is why Dragon Ball was less popular at this tournament. Like we're just seeing more people come with more stuff that is better into Dragapult as well. And maybe the what Dragapult's gonna include is becoming more narrow and more well known. So that opens up, makes it easier to like play or come up with more counters. But like we saw Slow King have a lot of success at this tournament. I think there's probably more to Slow King to think about and play around with the way people are playing like Zork now and stuff like that. So I think I wouldn't shock me to see Dragon Balls continue to kind of decline in percentage play percentage like we kind of saw with like Reggie Drago, even as more people kind of figure stuff out with other decks. I'm excited to see what else people are able to come up with at Indie as like answers because those answers also, like Carry over to the next format pretty heavily. There's not that much changes when Chaos Rising actually drops. I mean if we look at the Japan tournaments that happened in this format, like it's not that much the same format. Did I go back? No, I think you're in the same format. Well, this is. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's like Dragapult was still popular and still good. Right. But yeah, it's not dominating their top cuts. It is the most popular deck. But there's still all this other stuff including Hunch grow hunch back then. Yeah, I think there's like, there's a lot of room for other stuff to like be successful and do well. People just have to be willing to like take that risk. If you want to call it a risk. I don't think it's that big of a risk. But willing to put the time and effort into something that when. But Dragon Ball's like such a safe play, just such, such a safe choice. Right? People are just such meta drones, bro. It's like. No, it's hard to like argue against polt though because. It just has something that every other deck doesn't have, which is a built in engine that's like. I think what separates it. Obviously the Dragapult EX as an attacker is very powerful. But like just having Dr. Cloak as the consistent draw power throughout the game, which is like built into your evolution line for your attacker already. I think that's the, the deal breaker. The, the break point there for what, what puts the deck over the edge. Yeah, the built in draw power is just really, really strong for sure. The only other deck that has. The only other deck that has it is Zoroark. Right. But Zor has, is less powerful. I mean you don't have Phantom Dive. I don't know. See this work is like it's a, it's a deck where it's like maybe there's more to Zork. I think Zorg's biggest problem is that it's weak to grass. This does not feel like. It doesn't feel like Indy is going to be a good weekend to be weak to grass. Yeah, not great. Yeah, I don't know. We'll see. I think there's like a lot of room for those other decks to be played though. And we've seen a lot of them have success so far. I think we can see more of it. A lot of it's going to always kind of come down to what the good players play. And I feel like maybe not more so than anywhere else. And there's gonna be a lot of good players playing Dragon Ball tat Indy. So it's gonna be tough. It's gonna be tough if you're not playing Dragon Balls. We tough to succeed. But I mean, I want to see people like, like another, like shout to that would be Lucario. Like the Lucario built from Rahul. Like there's still all these other things like the Slow King, the Lucario from Rahul. See more people gravitate over towards that. The Zork build that. That Marco. So Fuentes had success with the week prior. The grass deck evolved. Now it's got the high drapple. Even though we saw our believa be the more successful build there, there's still so much stuff you can do with these slot box builds and decks as well. So we have a lot of. There's a lot of tools in the format to like for people to take advantage of. That's not just play dragapult fault. He was going to put the effort and time into them. And we'll see what people chose to put the effort and time into North America as we get closer to Indy. Is Slow King a real meta contender? Like, do you think Slow King could win the Indianapolis Regional Championships this weekend? I think so, yeah. Like, whenever I played the deck, the deck has always felt really good. And. And one of the things that is like. I mean, it's like I'm not going to tournaments to try and prove how good the deck is, but neither is like any other top player that I could name. Right. So that's always going to be something that holds a deck back. It's just like, not only is it not even. Not even that, but it's also just not a very popular deck. Right. Numbers are always gonna be a thing as well. It doesn't even have to be like a tier one player playing the deck. Yeah. If no one's playing the deck, it obviously just can't succeed. Succeed. Obviously it's not zero people, but I think it's there. I think it's got the potential for sure. Yeah. It's just interesting because, like, it did really well in Melbourne and did really well in Lima. Like, are we gonna set up to see something similar? Awesome. There's also a lot of interesting builds. Like the. The bill I played against Jade was like a trolley build. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Which was cool. No Kangaskhan stuff like that. We see the Kangaskhan build being the more successful, successful build, but always to play the deck on top of everything else. There's so Many ways to play Teal Mask Ogre Pawn. It feels like Teal Mask is also, you know, just one of the premier ex. Like one of the best cards individually powerful cards in the format. Which deck would you be if you had to play Teal Mask Ogre Pawn in your deck this weekend? Which one would you play? You got Raging Bolts. You got High Drapple. You got our Believa, which is kind of the same Ogre Pond box, Slop box. What do you think? Definitely something with Noctowl. So I'd look at, like the Yurko build. I played like a nocturnal Meganium Ogre pond deck recently. It would definitely be something with Noctowl. Interesting. But I feel like Noctowl is like, super good right now. Every time I play with the Watchtower stuff maybe turn me off of that a little. Yeah, okay, that's fair. That's fair. But I feel like if you. If you look at like the Yoko build, it wasn't like all in. Bless you. Wasn't all in on Knock Towel. So something like that I still still think would have some viability. So probably not all in on Noctowl, but having it be like supplemental to your potential big pop off turns, I think would be still pretty good. So something like this. Yeah. I try and get knocked out involved for sure. Knocked out just seems so strong right now. Pretty interesting build. Yeah. And I could see something like this too, because, like. So Ian Rob's list. The four Energy switch. You don't need four Energy switch, but you just need them on like a couple key turns. So, like having the noctile to like, just piece that combo together easier. Right. I would be a little scared of Watchtower though, this weekend to go all in. Yeah. Watch hours. Pretty popular probably. It's pretty good. It's also not a lot of grass energy in this list, which I don't love. It's not a lot of. What's up? There's like a ticking sound coming from. Is it the fan? It's the fan. Okay. I'll fix it as we go to the bonus episode. Okay. Okay. Yeah. It's the little chain. It's just. It's not like a full pull tab, pull chain, pull tab, pull chain it. But if you, like, rest it gently up against one of the light bulb screws, it like, stays put. But it must have, like got knocked loose. It's. It's been warm. So, like, it gets. You know how it is in this room. This is the room you sleep in whenever you come here. Like it gets hot out here so I had to get the fan rolling, buddy. Okay. Yeah. I just wasn't sure what it was, but it sounded like that. So let's make some predictions here for Indianapolis this weekend. I think one that could be fun since it's the deck you played. What is the highest placing Honchkrow player going to be this weekend? Yeah, I won't have the numbers to back it up because timing crew will not be there with all the Honchkrows. I mean, Tim didn't play Honchkrow but he did form the Honchkrow army. I think there's like hunch like Honchkrow is like on the up after Joshua's finished. Yeah, definitely a little bit discussion around it. Right. I think that Honchkrow's on the up. Like it's not going to be as popular as it was in Melbourne, percentage wise. Yeah. Yeah. We didn't even really talk about that when we looked at the meta share. But yes, Honchkrow was 5% of the medicame. Yeah. In Milburn that's not going to be the case. But yeah. And there was 54 of them and I think like 40ish of them were from Tim's Honchkrow army influence. So a lot of them. A lot of them came from that. So yeah, definitely. I agree. It's probably on the up. It's kind of a lot in day two, honestly. Yeah, not bad for sure. Yeah. Highest facing Concord though. I don't think it'll squeak out of top cut once again. Still, like it's not gonna be that popular. And then also on top of that, like there's not going to be any top level players playing Honchkron, I don't think. Right. So I think I can get. I'm gonna give it a top. I want to say top three. I think I might say top 64. Yeah. Give me a top 64. If you are. If you are playing Honchkrow to the tournament, make sure you test the Dragon pulp matchup. A lot of people do not know how to play the Dragon ball matchup like at all. Don't involve your bench. Just deceiving and chilling is fine. Remember that torment chaos bedew in Duskull. Like there's like a lot of little nuances for the dragapult matchup so they can't just kind of roll you over really quickly. So things like that don't punch something and leave damage in play. Like just. Yeah, passing is better than punching. Most of the Time. Yeah, just chill out. You don't have to. Like, they can't win that fast. Like, unless you're up against the Dust Store Bill. The Duster Bill is the only one that can kind of set pace every other build of dragapult. Like, they're drawing one prize card to turn most of the time and that's it. Be careful of their jet head butt lines, stuff like that. But yeah, make sure you test the Dragon Ball match up early because there's a lot of depth to that matchup for sure. Yeah, I'll go top 64. Yeah. I want to have more faith in the deck, but yeah, no top level players gonna be playing the deck or anything like that. So I hope I'm wrong, but someone's gonna pick it up and gonna hit like eight raging bolts and get a top 32 finish out of it for sure. So I'm gonna lock that in. Go for the. It is so funny. Like, so many more of those runs happen than I think people realize they do. And now we get to kind of see them sometimes when we, like, look at the. Yeah, we have limitless labs. We can look at people's runs and be like, well, they just hit 11 dragon pulse in a row or whatever. Or didn't hit any dragon pulse. Yeah. What is it? Noah's run at la. All these dragon balls. Yeah, just an insane amount of dragapult. Disgusting. That's a lot of nors too. A lot of dust noise. We've of course got to pick a player to make cut. Do you. You got a suggestion for another prediction before we get to pick a player to make cuts? Oh, I mean, looking at lab. No. Pick a non dragapult deck to make top cut. What do you got, Chip? I know you're high on the Raging Bolt. I do like Raging Bolts. I was pretty high on the lopunny deck, but I think I'm coming down on that because of all the, like the dragon balls are teching for the lop. I don't think now is the time for the lobby this weekend. Yeah, I think it's had its moment. We can maybe see it come back for an aic, though. Yeah, I think. I think I'm gonna go. I mean, I actually. Nice. It's a little bit early, actually. I was gonna say. Yeah. Because it's two weeks separated from naic. Otherwise we might have seen like a lot of foreign players at this tournament. I'm just gonna say Raging Bolts. Yeah. A little bit of a cop out, but I mean, it is tough Because, I mean, I like Raging Bolt a lot. I'm probably gonna play Raging Bolt. I don't know for sure yet, but that's probably what I'm gonna end up playing. But I think, like, the deck's just so powerful and it's Dragon Ball matchup is honestly pretty decent. So I think those things going for it. I have considered adding Psyduck, to be honest, because the Pult Nor matchup is a bit closer compared to the other pull builds. But it's just so hard to find. Yeah. When you need it, it's like out of Brocks or something. Yeah. I mean, we got Ultra Ball and Cipher. You know, we can. We can. We can get them out. That's honestly like the big. The biggest problem with like the slop in the Raging Pole. Your Pokemon search options are so miserable. They are pretty bad. I did want to just put a fourth Kangaskhan in the deck. There were some of those lists we looked at that had that just so I can like. I just want to start that thing anytime I have to Cyrano to just play the game. It feels pretty bad. It's not. I had no. It's not that bad. But I had a third Kangasan in my Slow King for that tournament that I played in. I almost played. I cut it for the Smoochum to try the Smoochum. Man, I hate this Smoochum. I saw you ripped it up. Yeah. He got donked by Zarua. And that was my one lossy donk. And then like the one time I used it, I shouldn't have even used it. I like, I got baited by it. It was like, oh. I mean, the way the things are set up on the board, I guess Smoochum's kind of good here. And then I used it. I was like, this is terrible. I'm. I bench locked myself. This is not good. Punished almost. I did win. Well, no, I did get punished. I did get punished. But you still won the game. Yeah. My opponent made the correct play. Did not take a KO on the turn. We actually even saw the most successful list of Slow King. There was no Smoochum in there at all. Also no Badoo. I'm a pretty big fan of the Badoo. But the rare candy is becoming less popular in Dragon Ball. And that's one of the main reasons you want the bedew is to stop the red candy from the Pult. But no one's really playing well, I guess the Pull nor. But you can still out trade them. Because you have the clefairy in there now, so it's not that big of a deal. All right. As we'll pick a non dragon pole deck to make. Cut. I was gonna say Slow King, but once again it's just gonna be tough. It's like the. The caliber player they're gonna play Slow King. There's. There's just no tier one players are gonna play Slow King. I don't think. I don't think so. I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go. Zoroark. I could see some pretty good players choosing to play Zorark and I think. I think this is a bad weekend to play Zorg. To be honest. I don't think the Raging Bolt matchup is as bad as you think it is. Or like. Well, I'm more thinking about the Hydra apple deck. That matchup is terrible. Or the Hydrapple matchup is bad. Yeah, you can be like other teal mask decks, but Hydra. And I think the Raging Bolt matchup is pretty solid for Raging Bolt. It's not like a auto win, but I think it's pretty solid. Gotta play. Actually the more I've thought about the matchup, the more I actually think Ace Rolla actually might help that matchup as well. Do I just want to play as rolls Mischief man. The card's broken. It seems kind of hard to use in the deck that you're trying to put three to four Zorix in play? Well, no, no. But you combo with unfair. Unfair. Sam. Mischief can't go through the active. Okay, final prediction. Pick a player to make top cut. Do you got. I actually wonder if some of the Japanese players are like leapfrogging their way over to Indy this week weekend and then staying until any Melbourne to Indy to Newlins. Yeah, I could see it. Oh no, wait. Don't they have when is the Japan Championships? Is that it's the week after Naic. You know that for sure? Yes. Okay. You have no confidence in me, man. It's kind of. Kind of sad. Honestly. Yeah. Who you got, Chip? Who's been cut? You know, don't know. That's why I asked. I think. I don't want to pick one of the easy choices. If you have someone, you go first. I don't. That's why I asked you. I want to look at the leaderboards. Low key, real quick. Get a quick look. Little sneak peek in. Yeah. Honestly. You know what? I've got mine. Okay. All right. Let's get it. I'm gonna go with Hail Obernulti. Even gonna be there. He doesn't go to very many events. Yeah, he is gonna be there. Okay, the Hail's a good shout. Hail's a good shout. What if he runs back with the bunny, though? The bunny does seem iffy. Bunny is a little iffy. But I think that Hale is the type of player that if he doesn't think the. It's a good meta gameplay, he will pick a different deck. Yeah, he is pretty. Yeah. That is like his move usually. For sure. That's a good shot. Actually. I wouldn't have picked him because I just wouldn't have known if he was going to be there or not. It's hard to pick. Hail Z does not go to very many events, but it's always a good shout, man. I don't. I just don't even know who's going to this one. I mean, there's a lot of good players to, like, pick from who are probably going to. It probably is all playing dragapult, which is just boring. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know, man. I'm gonna go. Give me. What about for, like, for the. And I'm trying to think, like, for the bit, like, for the. Who would just be someone, like, cool to make top cut for whatever reason. I don't think I need. All right. And yeah, maybe some Japanese players are going, but I don't know. You think it'd be cool if your podcast co host made top cut? It would be pretty cool. Raging ball. So you making top cut with Rainbow. It's not very cool, though. Probably also not very likely to happen. You gotta work on getting phase two first and then we'll get you. Yeah, okay. Okay, buddy. Dude, let me. Give me. Dude, I don't know, man. I am looking at the leaderboard. Yeah. I want to say, like, I would be down to say, like, Henry, but he's just playing pole, so that's not very fun. Dude, just pick someone, man. Nah, but there's got to be, like, a good reason behind the pick. You can't just, like, pick someone, you know? Gotta have a dude. This is terrible. Give me. Oh, actually, you know what? Someone who might give me Alex Shymansky. There we go. Looking for a redemption after la. See, honestly, he might have been. Yeah, but I might just default to Paul after bringing the festival lead. He's like, but no, no, I. I sure Mancy's gonna come up with something. Something cool, something interesting. Yeah, that's true. Yeah. All right. I'm confident in the choice. All right. Azul. Well, that is gonna do it for our episode this week.
