Clark To Appear on Sports Card Live With Jeremy Lee; Setting Up at ARC World Homecoming In September; Plus Teaser On Upcoming Tuesday Episode

Hey guys, welcome back to another Friday edition of Cards to the Moon. It's been a Zebra busy week for me and I wasn't sure if I would be able to get a Friday episode out, but I did want to give you guys a heads up on a couple of things that I'm involved with or I'm currently working on. First, if you're listening to this episode on Friday, the day it's released, I will be on Jeremy Lee's sports card live YouTube stream this Saturday night. That's August 15th. I believe I will be on at 1045 Eastern, but there will be other guests on his show. Pretty popular in the hobby, so I'm really excited and really looking forward to to being on Sports Cards Live as I'll get to talk about five Card Guys and I'm sure this podcast Cards to the Moon as well as other hobby topics and issues that seem to be relevant right now. On Monday I actually had a quick chat with Jeremy just to catch up and we realized we have a lot of similarities, especially when it comes to creating content for the hobby, so I think it's going to be a lively discussion. We both also happen to be Canadian, so I wonder if our mainly American audiences for both of us will notice our Canadian ness coming out. Loyal listeners of the pod will also know that we've had Jeremy on the show before. I believe it was season two or season three early on, but I will include the link to his episode on our POD below in the show notes I'm also looking to continuing my Breaking Ground series which focuses on influencers, content creators and movers and shakers within the hobby. I kicked off with John Amendola who owns Mint Inc. Here in the GTA and he's expanding quickly and I thought Jeremy will be a great second episode, so I'll be working on that and hopefully I'll get that episode sometime in the next month or two. one-of-one I'll include the link to his YouTube channel. The other thing I want to give a quick heads up on, especially if you're local and you're around the Greater Toronto area. I'll be setting up at the Asian Roots Collective market on Saturday, September 12th. It's part of the Arkworld Homecoming event. Some of you might have already heard it because there is a charity basketball game at the end of the day. I believe Sumu Lu will be there and I believe Jeremy Lin will be there as well. But the organizer, he noticed the popularity of trading cards in our culture. So I'm happy to represent the hobby the best way I can on that event on September 12th. Again, that's a Saturday and it's an all day event, of course, for those who can't make it in person. I do plan to create and produce content for a podcast. Last but not least, I just recorded a regular Tuesday episode with Will and Roy. It's another fun one as usual. And yes, we do talk about the Cooper flag bounty, but I just wanted to tease that and.
