So on today's show, we're going to talk about the fact that when you go to a card show that's out of town and you add up all your expenses, is it potentially more fiscally responsible, potentially better to just buy cards on ebay? And the reason I bring that up is because Fanatics Fest is this week. I am not going. The cost of just simply staying in a hotel room in New York City was outrageous, about six or seven times higher than it has been in the past, mainly because of the World cup being in Manhattan or East Rutherford or wherever they're playing it. But a lot of hotels booked in New York City, Manhattan and around the surrounding area. So we're going to talk about the best way to spend $5,000 on sports cards online instead of going to card shows. And I think, you know, this could potentially be applied to other card shows, not just Fanatics Fest. But we're going to talk specifically why it might make sense to skip Fanatics Fest. If you are going to skip a card show, it may be the one to skip. And we'll talk about the reason why. We have a kind of a cool collector call out today. One of our no offseason.com family members. But let's get into the do's and don'ts of buying on ebay and the best way to spend $5,000 on sports cards online instead of going to card shows Fanatics Fest Specifically because Fanatics Fest is super expensive to attend. Not only from the lodging standpoint in Manhattan, the travel standpoint. I mean if you're in and around the New York City area, if you're in New Jersey, if you're in Philadelphia even, you can definitely, you know, a friend of the show, Ziggy, right? Ziggy is from the D.C. area. So you know, you're able to save using public transport. Public transportation. If you're able to drive in from surrounding areas, then your travel cost can be a little bit less. But your lodging is still going to be extremely expensive unless you have a friend to stay with in the city or something like that, or unless you stay far enough outside of the city and then commute in every day, it's just, it's a very. There's a lot of barriers to entry for Fanatics Fest. As I mentioned in the opening of the show, and I've mentioned it in previous episodes leading up to this one. Fanatics Fest 2026 has been on the calendar for me as a maybe, and I made the decision recently to not go because of the reasons I've already mentioned. Cost prohibitive, but also a couple other things. Number one, it's super close to the National. I mean this is the closest it's ever been to the National. If you remember two years ago, the inaugural year of Fanatics Fest, it was in August. The next year it was in June. Now it's like, it's literally like a week and a half, two weeks away from the national. Which if you're, you know, you're, I'm in Middle Tennessee. I'm in the Nashville, Franklin, Tennessee area. So if I am to go to back to back card shows in New York one week, come home the next week and then the following week after that go to go to Rosemont, Chicago, that, that's a lot, you know, so, so the timing on the calendar was a factor, but I would say the main reason to skip Fanatics Fest is it's not really a great card show. Like, and that's not to say that there's not great vendors. That's not to say that there's not great cards. It's not the vendor's fault necessarily. They have great cards, they have great vendors there. PSA is going to be there this year. CGC is there every year. So they have like top notch corporate entities in the hobby as well and they have great sponsors at the show and they have giveaways and there's a lot of great things about the show. But from a card show standpoint, it is really more of a fan fest. It's really more of do you want autographs from celebrities? Do you want to pay for those autographs from those celebrities? Do you care about seeing celebrities? Do you care about meeting celebrities? Do you want to stand in line to meet one of your favorite athletes? If the answer to any of those questions is yes, then Fanatics Fest might be the show for you. Do you care about experientials? You know, do you want to like jump in the WWE ring, the ufc, Octagon? Like, do you want to, you know, have other experiences? Do you, do you want to listen to roundtable discussions from media members and celebrities? If the answer to any of those questions is yes, Fanatics Fest might be for you. But if you want to go to a good card show and that's what you care about the most and you care about getting deals at a card show, Fanatics Fest is not for you. So as I was thinking through all of this, I was like, why not just stay home and spend the amount of money that I would have spent at Fanatics Fest using the guideline, guideline strategies and plays that we talk about@noallseason.com and, and that we use no offseason.com and Hobby Flipper for. And so it's a perfect time to talk you through my ebay buying process in terms of bidding on cards and how we can use noofseason.com and Hobby Flipper to do that. And I think the first, the first way to jump into that is to look at what the new sports card rankings will look like@noallseason.com in the coming week or so. And it's all powered by Hobby Flipper. So there is a Raw to Grade tab and it is sorting cards by the ROI percentage that you can make from going raw to grade. We're gonna first walk through the Raw to Grade tab, then the Regrade tab, which is the same as a PSA 9 to BGS 95 and a BGS 95 to PSA 10 tab, kind of all in one. So it's super co cool. But the Raw to Grade has several improvements. So if you're, if you're Already a no offseason.com member, this is coming for you. So what we're looking at here, and this is updated now every day, not just every week. So you've heard me say on the sports card strategy show that are that our sports card rankings are updated every every week now. This is updated every day. So what you're looking at is the projected raw price of the card and that's based on the 30 day average or the last sale if there's not a, if there's not a sale in the last 30 days. And then what we've done is we've mixed in all the grading companies together and we're hitting gem rate.com so again, shout out to gem rate.com ryan@gemrate. I know he's a listener of the show. He's, he's the one who's really been helping me out getting this data and you know, using their API to pull in the data. So we appreciate that and we're showing you the gem right now. So this has been a request from our premium members. We're showing you the gem rate and so you're seeing the suggested greater, you're seeing the projected raw price, the suggested greater and the gem rate for the grading company of the suggested grader and you're seeing an ROI percentage. So you're initially going to see the top 100 sports card rankings overall. Now there are thousands of cards in Hobby Flipper, right? Like I mentioned earlier, there's, there's 5 to 10,000 cards that we're tracking the most investable cards. And so to get more than the top 100, there's a couple different things you can do. There's a few different things you can do. You can filter by sport. So if you want to go look, I just want to see the top baseball card rankings, the top football card rankings, the top basketball, even golf, hockey, multi sport racing, soccer, tennis. So you can see the top 100 per sport. The other thing you can do is filter by player. So if you just want to see the top Drake May rankings and if you know you, here's the top Drake May rankings. If you just want to see the top, you know, Michael Jordan rankings, just type in Michael Jordan and click Michael Jordan. All right? And so on. So now another request from our premium members is what about budget? You know, what about like I just, you know, I want to make raw to grade plays or I want to make regrade plays or already graded plays. We'll get to the already graded in a second. But I don't want to spend any more than a hundred dollars on any, any card. Just type in a hundred in the max raw price and it's going to give you the top 100 cards under a hundred dollars based on ROI percentage. You can also filter by gem rate. So if you want to filter by gem rate, you can do that. Which cards have the highest gem rates? And then, you know, okay, wow. Like Aaron Judge has some pretty freaking high gem rates on his rookie cards. So that's interesting. From 2017, Caleb Williams, his Donruss and his Tops Chrome Prism refractor have some really high gem rates. That's interesting. But Caleb Williams Prism might not. Okay, so now it's giving you more actionable insights and data. Now the other cool thing is what if you just want to look at a year? Okay, so what if you just want to look at 2023. Okay, boom, there's 2023. Now again, the formula is, you know, based on the same formula that we launched a few years ago@noallseason.com it takes the raw price of the card, the upside of the gem mint grades at all the grading companies and then it hits gemrate.com and it says, okay, well what grades are you likely to get based on the gem rate? And then based on that data, what's the projected average sale price that you're likely to sell the card for. It takes into account all of your fees, your shipping fees, your taxes, your ebay fees, all of that. Your grading fees. It takes into account the grading fees. So you know, even the updated PSA costs and things like that are taken into account in our formula. So we do all that for you. And then also it's, it's, it's, it's very conservative. So for example, fees on the front end and fees on the back end. Right. So are you selling this for 100% of the latest comp. No. There's obviously ebay fees taken out of that, transaction fees taken out of that and so on. So we, we actually account for that as well. So your job is basically just to do what I'm about to show you that I do, I use this tool all the time is I'm going to look at the sports card rankings@noallseason.com first from a raw to grade standpoint, then from a regrade standpoint. Then we'll talk about the already graded rankings, how those work and how those are coming into my decision making process. And then we're going to marry that in with the ebay buying tips. Okay, so when we look at the sports card rankings, we want to pick potentially a card to go raw to grade. Let's just take a look at how Hobby Flipper works again. So I'm going to type in 2020 and again right away I see Victor Women Yama Prism Silver 2023. But I see, oh wow. SGC has 183.99% potential ROI and the projected raw price of this card is 465.34. When I click on that card@nooffseason.com it's going to take me to this card details page on Hobby Flipper. And again, if you're a Nooffseason.com Premium member, you have premium access to Hobby Flipper. So as soon as you click on the card details page on that, you know which, which again the card details page you're going to click, it's going to take you to when you click on the rankings@noallseason.com or you know, if you're on Hobby Flipper and you're searching for the victor when many RAW Prism Silver 2023 and you click it, that's also going to take you to the card details page. But again, the reason why we're using the sports card rankings is because that's a decision making tool for you. Now when you click it, this is Another big improvement. No offseason.com members will recognize how big of an improvement this is. You're going to be taken to the card details page at Hobby Flipper and it's making a decision for you. See, because up here it's telling you the last raw sale of this card. It's telling you the last SGC10 sale of this card, $2300. The last PSA10 sale of this card, $2800. And the last BGS9.5 sale of this card at 1434. Now it's saying, it's doing all the calculations for you. So it's saying should you grade with sgc, there's a green thumbs up. Go for sgc, it says. And it's saying you have, you are going to make more ROI percentage with SGC 98.87% versus PSA 61.60% for a PSA 10. And obviously looking at that data, even though you're selling the PSA 10 for about 500 more dollars than the SGC 10, you are that much more likely to get an SGC 10, basically is what Hobby Flipper is telling you in terms of the gem rate. So now, how do you buy this card? Well, you know. Well, there's a couple different ways. You can scroll down on Hobby Flipper and you can see the most recent active listings for this cart. So you can see active listings right here and you can click Active listing Buy on ebay. The other thing you can do is you can click Buy cart on ebay up here. Now, if you click Buy card on ebay, obviously some of the cards aren't that particular card. So that's one thing. So you're going to have to obviously keep an eye out for that. But most of them are. Now, the other thing that you're going to want to do though, and this is where we get into the ebay buying tips, okay, is make sure that it's filtered by auction, okay? Make sure that it is filtered by. Because the, the. The target cost for this card is way over $250. The target cost for this card, again, being the last raw sale over here on Hobby Flipper Card details page, I would highly recommend that you also filter by the authenticity guarantee. Okay? So to also filter by authenticity guarantee, you're going to want to click on more filters over here on the left on ebay. And. For some reason, it's easier to find on mobile than it is on desktop. See all. Here it is. Okay, so click See all and then check Authenticity Guarantee. But There's a toggle switch if you're on mobile. So once I do authenticity guarantee, I can see. Okay, here's one for 950. And@nooffseason.com you have a lot of video tutorials. And you also have the Card Analyzer and Predictor tool where you can submit any listing that you're looking at. Directly through our Card Analyzer and Predictor tool, use our centering tool and get an analysis as to whether or not we think that card is worthy of grading. So following the process, just recapping the process, you've looked at the sports card rankings@noallseason.com from there, you've made a decision on the raw to grade side, which cards you want to try to go after. In my case, I went Victor wembanyama Raw to grade. Why did I go Victor wembanyama Raw to grade? Well, for a couple reasons. Number one, super high return on investment. Number two, a couple different grading companies where you can massively profit. One being psa, which has a longer turnaround time unless I want to pay for the regular. Another one being sgc, which has a much shorter turnaround time. And being told by Hobby Flipper that based on the gem rate, SGC actually is going to give me a higher return on investment for this particular card. So that's an interesting strategy. Now, before I bid on a card, I'm going to do two things. Number one, I'm going to submit these listings through the Card Analyzer and predictor tool. @nooffseason.com I'm going to use the centering tool and I'm going to get an analysis from that tool on my dashboard. I'm not going to go through that whole process on today's show. It's going to be focused more on the other ebay tips. So other ebay tips I want to look for is I want to look for how many bids the card has on it. All right? I want it to have, you know, I want it to again, I want to filter by auction and authenticity guarantee. I want items to have multiple bids. And I'm going to give more examples of those items that have multiple bids here in a second. But this one has 11 bids. It also what's also interesting about this one is if you were to go to I'm going to show you how to use another insight at Hobby Flipper. Hobby Flipper has this sale timing page. So if you click sale timing, it's giving you of all the cards that Hobby Flipper has tracked, it's giving you the best and worst times to end your auction. So you can use that in two ways. Right? You can use that. Obviously, if you're looking to sell a card on the card details page for every, every card at Hobby Flipper, it has it for per individual card. So if you're looking to sell a card, you can look at, okay, what's the overall sale, best sale timing on Hobby Flippers sale timing page. Or you can go to the card details page of the card that you have and you can see for that particular card what's the best way to. What's the best time to end my auction? But in this case, we're talking about buying tips, ebay buying tips on today's show. So I want to look at what's the worst time to end an auction because it's based on sale price. So it's telling me that in my local time, which is central time overall, Thursdays at 7pm Fridays at 9pm or Saturdays at 8pm in those hours, in those, in those 60 minute windows, those are typically the worst times to end an auction. Slash, best times to buy a card. Now obviously I'm recording this on Monday. So in terms of Monday, the worst time to. The worst time to end an auction is around 2pm my time. What's interesting about that is it's 1:28 my time right now. What's interesting about this, Victor, when Minyama auction going back to it is it ends in four hours and 30 minutes, which will be about 6pm local time. So if I go back to that Hobby Flipper sale timing page, 6pm Happens to be on Monday. Not a great time to. I mean it's okay, but it's, it's about the average. It's going to give you about average. Whereas later on, on Monday you get, you know, auctions that end like simply three hours after 6pm So 9 and 10pm Are you're selling it for 19 to 22% more. So again, the takeaway here is if I can find auctions that end within this window today of say 5 to 9pm I'm gonna get a much better deal in theory, not always, but in theory I'm gonna find that I'm gonna pay about 20% less. So that's a big takeaway. So that's telling me like, look, if I bid on this particular Victor Wembanyama Prism Silver that ends in 4 hours and 30 minutes, which again is like 6pm the chances that this auction sells for 20% less than what it normally would is pretty high. Based on the Hobby Flipper insights. Now using the centering tool@noallseason.com I can see this card probably has a pretty good chance of gemming, maybe not at PSA, but SGC potentially, which is according to the no offseason.com sports card rankings. New sports card rankings. One of the top cards from 2023 to go ahead and, and, and look at. And it also has a 183.99 return on investment. So the, the, the, the numbers that that's based on is based on a 1300 $37 raw sale to, to get a 98.87 ROI according to the card details page. Okay. So those numbers will match UP on no offseason.com and on hobby flipper.com daily. Again, the rankings are updated at the beginning of every day and then the data@ Hobby Flipper.com is updated throughout the day. So the numbers might be slightly off, but again, it's going to lead you in the right direction 10 times out of 10. So this, this is, you know, a card that I can definitely profit from. And I, I see that it has the authenticity guarantee. So what's going to be my play if I win this card? It's going to be to grade it at either PSA or sgc. And I'm going to make that determination if I win this card and I'm going to make that determination when I get this card in hand. Now the fallback would be to sell it raw in October leading into the NBA season. If for some reason it doesn't get the grade that I want or if it, I don't, I really don't think it's going to grade well. But having examined it again, having used the card analyzer and predictor tool@noallseason.com which is super easy to use, having seen, okay, it ranks very, very high on the Nooffseason.com rankings. The data on the Hobby Flipper card details page when I click on it is validating that. And it's got 11 bids. It ends at a time where the data is telling me is a good auction end time. I'm going to go ahead and bid on this. Now. One more thing before, actually, one more thing I want you guys to do before you bid, before you bid is I want you to just look at the seller really quick. Okay, so this is G L JLA and it says that they have 100% positive. So click on that and just kind of validate these ratings. So it has this this seller has 386, has 100 positive feedback through 386 sales, joined in March of 2000. So this seller's been on eBay for 26 years. Then click, seller's other items. Okay, so just look at the seller's other items. So this, the seller is selling generally sports cards and other related items. I mean, a Rawlings mitt and some jeans are not really related. But because I see the authenticity guarantee here, this is a legit item. And, you know, I mean, thanks to Hobby Flipper and all the data for kind of helping us find this. Right? So again, like, going on ebay and searching is one thing, but using the tools@nooffseason.com and Hobby Flipper are really going to get you there to, you know, where you need to be looking at the right card for the right player at the right time and following this process. So I'm going to place a bid on this card because it's got. It checks all of the boxes that we just talked about. And I could get it for potentially well under the 1337 of the last sale. Now, I tried a bit at 980. That's not gonna work. And again, I've always talked about being okay losing ebay auctions. I just put in a bid at 10:30 and I am the highest bidder right now. So I'm gonna stop there and I'm probably gonna later on as this auction looks to end within the next four and a half hours, I'm probably going to go up to. But not over that 1337. All right, so now, but now, like, if I do win this card, I have to be. I have to be cognizant of it being against that $5,000 budget. And again, I got the $5,000 budget from the ebay or from the not going to fanatics Fest. That's. That's kind of where that, that budget comes from. Now, another way to use Hobby Flippers rankings is to use the Regrade. I'm getting a lot of positive feedback from no offseason.com Premium members and listeners of the Sports Card strategy show about the Regrade plays that we've talked about on the show in the past. And the PSA 9 to BGS 95 rankings that the no offseason.com premium members have access to. Now, here is the new and improved Regrade rankings, which include PSA9 to BGS9.5 and BGS9 to PSA10. What's really cool about these rankings is that not only can you sort by sport player, the minimum price, the maximum price and the year. But you can also see both the PSA 9 to BGS 95 potential win and potential loss, which is not somewhere that you can get that's not something you can get anywhere else. So we're really, really proud of this@nooffseason.com and@ HobbyFlipper.com is it's showing you if you were to cross over this card or crack and submit really is what this is from PSA to BGS in hopes for about nine to get a 9 5. What's the potential win and what's the potential loss so that you can mitigate your risk and make the right decision. Same thing with the BGS9.5 to PSA10. So as these cards are ranked, you will see essentially that they're, you know, the ability to find the PSA9 price and cross over to a BGS9.5 is basically what these rankings are built on. But you also see the possibility to cross over from a VGS9.5 to a PSA10. So how do, how do you want to look at this? Well, you can look at it however you want, but I want, you can look at it as like what's the most upside from a PSA9 to a BGS9.5. But I want to start looking at it like at least for the, for the purpose of today's discussion, what is the play that has the most upside but the least downside? And I found a card is a Michael Jordan card. So I'm just going to go ahead and filter by, I'm going to filter by year because it was a 1988 Michael Jordan card. It's this FLIR All Star and actually the FLIR base. So look at this. I mean FLIR All Star 1988 has a potential win in a crossover from PSA 9 to BGS 9. 5 of 218432 a potential loss of $517. Now $517 is not, is nothing to scoff at, right? Like we've, it's still, that's still risky. Like we've, in fact we've, we've seen like Kobe Bryant plays that are far less risky than that. And I'll, maybe I'll pull one up here in a second, But Michael Jordan Flir base doesn't have as much potential upside 1677 but it has far less potential downside of 474.62. Now the possibilities of what you can find@nooffseason.com in these rankings are endless, right? I can't possibly go through all of them on the sports card strategy show. I'm just giving you some examples during some, some, you know, how to spend $5,000 on sports cards instead of going to a card show, how to do it online on ebay instead of going to a card show. So that's the purpose of me showing you this. So I like the Michael Jordan fleer All Star 1988. Let's look at the card details page@nooffseason.com for that particular card. Right. So from a PSA9, again, a lot of upside there, you can buy a PSA 9 hopefully for around $1700. That's the last sale. That was last week. BGS 95 upside. And again you can click on this on no offseason.com and from the Movements tab on Hobby Flipper. And it takes you, it does the calculations for you on the card details page, which is amazing. No other sports card platform does that. So potential win 218432 potential loss 5 1703. Well, let's see what it looks like to buy this card in PSA9 on eBay and then let's use the same principles that we talked about. Okay, so as we scroll here, we haven't seen any PSA nines yet. Here's a PSA nine off center. Oc I'm going to skip that one. I might modify the search here in a second because I'm seeing some PSA sevens. Here's a PSA 8, PSA 6, another PSA 8. Here's a PSA 10. I mean PSA 10 has 40 bids on it. So let's just add PSA 9 to the search bar and okay, here's a PSA 9. So this would be. Some of these look really, really good, right? This one right here. 1988 FLIR All Star Michael Jordan PSA nine. PSA is the seller. So we know that's reputable. 22 bids ends in four days and six hours. Well, four days and six hours is going to put us at Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday plus four hours Friday at about. Oh, sorry, six hours. So Friday at about 8:00pm Central Time, if we really wanted to get into. Is Friday at 8pm Central Time a great time to end this auction? Not really. Friday at 8pm Central Time is about 3.3.2% average variance and Friday at 9.0pm just a few minutes later is negative 1.1 average variance. So that is not a great time. So are the stars aligning for me on this? Well, do I want to run it through the card analyzer and Predictor tool@nooffseason.com first? Absolutely. But once I do that, if it tells me it has a great chance at a BGS9.5. Now I will say on this one, I see some fraying up at the top here. I see some fraying up at the top here. It's probably a PSA9 due to it being off center enough on the front and back as well as these edges. So will it get a bg? Like what's going to be the edge grade at BGS for this? Is the edge grade at BGS for this going to be a 9 or is it going to be like an 8 5? I might pass on this particular card just because I don't know that it would that it's centered well enough and I don't know that it that I don't feel confident enough necessarily in the edges. But there are a couple other, there are a couple other options here. There's this one that ends in six days and one hour. I like the one hour because look, that one hour it's gonna be like 2:43pm on a Sunday, which could could bode well for me. And then when I look at this has much better top edge. The bottom edge looks a little rough on the front, a little rough on the back. It looks like the centering is about the same. So that's actually a pretty decent option. I'm just gonna add this one to my watch list. All right, that's a good one to just add to the watch list. Now here is another one. PSA 6 ends in 6 days and 6 hours looks way better centered than the other two. And again, you could run this through the centering tool@nooffseason.com and see that it looks way better centered. It looks like slight edge issue on the bottom front and bottom back, which could be the reason for the PSA 9. I'm not gonna lie, this is going to be a very risky play just because hobbyflipper.com's telling me I could potential lose 500. But I might want this to be part of my there's so much upside here. Based on what hobby flippers telling me and the no offseason.com sports card rankings, I think I might I'm just gonna add it to my watch list. All right. But I mentioned earlier that there was the the some Kobe Bryant plays that had worked really well. So let's just see what the no offseason.com regrade rankings say about the Kobe cards I was looking at. So when I just type in Kobe, we've got a lot of great possibilities here. And one thing I really like about the Kobe cards is like, look at the potential losses. Okay, you've got much lower potential losses. You've got metal fresh foundation 160 potential loss. You've got skybox Z force 103 dollar potential loss. So what's the lowest potential loss with the highest potential upside? It looks like Kobe Bryant metal base would fit that description. So $530 potential upside in a PSA9 to a BGS95 with with only quote unquote, only a potential loss of $177. But would I like to take that bet maybe over losing $500, I would say yes. So when I click on that and I see the Kobe metal base, I might wanna, I might wanna go in on that card. So the, when I look at that card, there's the Skybox metal and the FLIR metal, right? So we got to clarify that. But there's a PSA 8. So sometimes the card is just not available. Now in this case, I don't see any auctions ending. So part of the process is like, look, you're going to run into that. You might go ahead and say, all right, look, card not available. Let's move on, let's do something else. So let's do something else. Another potential play. Because I like those plays and that's part of the reason why I wanted to bring that up to you guys. But here's one that you're going to be able to find. It's Caleb Williams Don Russ Downtown 2024. All right, raw 1125 PSA 1026 hundred BGS 9.5ROI 4838. No sale in the last 14 days. Same with SGC, but an SGC ROI of 3590. So now what you have is you have several different grading opt options. And let's go ahead and expand the time period on Hobby Flipper. So again, We've used the Nooffseason.com sports card rankings. We click on it, it takes us over to Hobby Flipper and we see, okay, once we expand, the last SGC sale was back in February in SGC10. The last BGS9.5 sale was June 28. So not that long ago. The last PSA10 sale was July 8. So what would the play here be? Well, it would have to be in this case a RAW to grade Caleb Williams Don Russ down tons now we're back in the raw to grade. Okay. So we looked at a couple of regrade possibilities. Probably gonna bid on those Michael Jordan cards. Might find some of those Kobe metals, not the FLIR metals but the skybox metals was the card that that was talking about. So I might go back and try to do those because I really, really like that play. And that's that exact card that I talked about last Monday with Lefty where we had Toby, one of our premium members, have his gem and it was just shipped off to him. So that if that gems at PSA, which in this case we would be buying a PSA 9 and trying to have it gem at BGS. But we had a raw to grade gem of that Kobe skybox metal from one of our premium members. It's like a three thousand dollar card where of course we covered the upcharge if you grade through nooffseason.com as a premium member. But back to the raw to grade. Caleb Williams don russ downtown 2024 a lot of upside in this play with all three grading companies. PSA higher gem rate and higher upside. So that's why you're seeing the 111.73 ROI. Now again, looking at the active listings, we could just click on one of the active listings and we could see like okay, what, you know, do we want to maybe try to buy that active listing? Or we could see like do we want to just search for the card? And so if we just go ahead and click buy card on ebay and search for the card, we're getting a lot of great possibilities here. Now one thing we wanted, one thing we want to be aware of is not to look at the oversized. Okay, so like for example, oversized, we're trying to filter those out at Hobby Flipper. So but you want to, you want to make sure you're not bidding on the oversized or the jumbo. But we have a new listing here of a what appears to be not an oversized Don Russ Caleb Williams Downtown and we want to make sure that we read the description to make sure that it's not oversized. And again, what I talked about earlier is making sure that you're filtering by the authenticity guarantee and that's going to weed out the oversized as well. And then auctions or it should, it should weed out most of the crap. And again, if I go auctions, I actually don't see any auctions. So there's only if we expand to all, then we see some. But this is a good time to probably get into your don'ts okay, the reason I don't want you bidding on anything or the reason I don't want you buying it now or, or putting in any offers is because you have such a vast look at the, look at the difference in what people are listing this card for versus what people have actually paid for this card. So if we go back to Hobby Flipper, we see the last raw sale for this card is 1125. Now look, when you, when you're not looking at an auction, look at what people want. 3003-500350-04000. 3000. So you, you would have to put in an offer at like I would say the maximum offer for a card that you really think is going to grade well, maybe based on either your own eyeballs or the card analyzer and predictor tool@nooffseason.com and the centering tool, you're gonna have to put in an offer at like 1100 maximum, like 1175, maybe $1200 maximum. And they're wanting 3500. I mean, they're probably gonna do. It's probably just a waste of time. So. And that's what you're gonna find with a lot of these cards, unfortunately. So go. That's why going through and using, you know that, that's why it's a, it's a time intensive process. You know, I want you all to know it's a time intensive process to try to make money flipping sports cards. And again, the best thing to do is understand that not only is it a time intensive process, but when you use the tools@nooffseason.com and at Hobby Flipper, it's going to help you save you time. It's going to help cut you to the chase. And there are going to be cards that you can buy that you can bid on and you don't want to win every card because you don't have the budget for it. That's the other thing. So you have to be okay potentially losing out on some cards. Now having said all of that, we've, we've worked through the tools@nooffseason.com and at Hobby Flipper. You've seen that there are some really good possibilities. And then there are some times when you're like, okay, I hit a dead end and that's just part of the game, that that's just how it's going to be and I'm okay with that. I've succeeded for the last several years knowing that I'm not going to bid on every card I'M not going to make offers on every card. Like, just because the numbers say that this is a great card doesn't necessarily mean that you're going to find it. All right? So. But if you continuously use these tools, you see that there are thousands and thousands of possibilities for you to make money flipping sports cards using the raw to grade rankings, the Regrade rankings, the already graded rankings, and the the other tools@nooffseason.com and at Hobby Flipper. It's going to put you in a position where you can quickly move through things. But what I want to do next is talk about really recapping the do's and don'ts here. So items that I want you to potentially try and go for and the items that I did a little bit of research as well before the show that I want to try to go for, we've got cards based on. Now these are all based on my research as well, using all the tools that I've already talked about. Right here. For example, this would take up maybe my entire budget of $5,000. It might even go for more than $5,000. But I wanted to show it to you anyway because I went through the process of finding what's a Victor Wembanyama card that has multiple bids on it that ends at a good time sold by a reputable seller with the authenticity guarantee. And that's this BGS 9 tops Mercury Jersey Texas Auto out of 35. Okay, so that's one example. And then another good example is this Victor Women Yama Kaboom. All right, you know, again, everything lines up with the Hobby Flipper data, with the no offseason.com rankings data. And you've got a card that ends in four days and eight hours. It has 72 bids on it. This one's definitely. Probably blow my budget out of the water, but I wanted to show it to you anyway. Another one I like though, we talked about Caleb Williams downtown. But another one that aligns with that is Caleb Williams Kaboom horizontal. So this again, authenticity guarantee. 15 bids, 35 watchers. It's at 660 right now. So if I, if I type this into Hobby Flipper. Let's just use the movements tab at Hobby Flipper here to see what's going on with Caleb Williams horizontal kaboom. So we have one sale in the last 14 days for 1509. When we click on that card, you definitely see a go for psa at a 22% ROI. So 1509. And you can go again back over to my Auction. I'm gonna bid on this. You know, this, this is, you know, run it through the card analyzer and predictor tool. The centering tool looks good by the time, you know, it's also a great grading candidate for the PSA regular service. So I should be getting it back by the end of September, which I like. And again, you're not gonna find a deal on this card at Fanatics Festival, right? So I'm gonna go ahead and bid on this. This is gonna be another one. And it's 762 I'm at. So I've got, you know, I've got the wiggle room to get up to. What was it again, that hobby flipper? It was 1509, so I can go double that. And that, that could probably, that's probably going to end up being a good card that, you know, maybe I win. So I feel pretty good about that one. And the Wemby, maybe the Jordan, here's another one. I mean, when you look at the data, this card's. Let's talk about Regrade. Let's talk about the Regrade rankings. So the Regrade rankings@nooffseason.com are based on what cards that are down, what cards are down in the last 30, 60, 90 days in all the sports that are for the top athletes that sold for between like 200, like $200 and up in the top grades. And looking at seasonality, we look at seasonality with these rankings. So is it the off season? Is it a buying cycle? And is there an upcoming hype rise that's going to bring up the value of this card? So we look at all those factors. We have a formula for that in our Regrade rankings and we publish our Regrade rankings. Very similar to what you saw a minute ago with the. So these are the already graded rankings, look very similar to the Regrade and the raw to grade. But it'll show you the data around how much is this card down, what's the potential upside? When will you sell it? And what you could expect to potentially sell it for based on historical data, not even based on anything needing to happen spectacularly, but just based on a hype rise of that card. Now, with the already graded rankings, you kind of have to throw out of your mind what you may have paid for a card like this in the past. Like in the past, this victim and Yama Prism Silver PSA 10. I've made so much money flipping these cards. But, but I started with like $500 investments, sold them for 1500 then rebought them at 1500 and sold them for 2,800. 3,000. Well, now they're starting to come down a little bit after the NBA Finals, and there's no reason why this card won't go back up again as we get closer to the NBA season. So when you look at what was the last. What does Hobby Flipper say, the last sale again of this PSA 10? It says it's 2802. Well, let's just go like, let's just look at a PSA 10 in Hobby Flipper and see what the data looks like. So when you look at the PSA 10 data over the last 90 days, this card's down 3.6%. And so that does qualify for something that would rise up again. So again, because, like, look at. And look at May. So, you know, October might be a little bit tough, but we can look at October. This card in October sold for 1800. So that's. That's an October with him coming off of an injury. What is an October of him coming off an NBA Finals and an mvp. NBA MVP run look like? Well, it could look a lot more like what May looked like. So this card in May sold for an average across many, many sales of $3,465 in May. Now that's down to 2802. So it's down. And it's down $200 just by regular matriculation, just by seasonality in the last 90 days. So this to me, if I can get this card. And again, it matches everything. If I can get this card for under $2800, I'm feeling pretty good about myself. So I'm gonna bid on this card. Does 2450 get me the high bid? It does. So I'm the high bid. And I think that's a good place to stop because I've given examples of. I've given if I win these cards, which I don't think I'm going to win all these cards, but I'm going to continue this process right throughout the week. And I'm going to spend $5,000 this week on sports cards instead of. Instead of going to Fanatics Fest. So let's let me go through some cards that I want you like, types of cards that I want you to avoid. Okay? So I said don't make offers, don't buy it now, don't bid on items with no bids. So let me give you some that I found that were, like, slightly deceiving. Here's one that's slightly deceiving like Cooper flag 2025 tops Chrome future stars autograph. I think like in general I like this card. Like the data lines up. I think that as we get closer to I think there's like a window of like Cooper Flag buying now potentially grading some of his higher end stuff and then selling it at the end of October. Like I'm going to be looking at some of that using the same tools@nooffseason.com and Hobby Flipper that I just used on today's show. And if you're a premium member I'll probably you'll probably see some of that more later this week on the premium podcast. So I like there's a good chance that a lot of these cards that I'm bidding on today will have resolved and I'll be reporting back to everyone that's a premium member@nooffseason.com on Thursday or Friday this week on the Premium podcast what I won, what I didn't win. And it'll include a lot of other plays that I haven't discussed on today's show. Like potentially some of these Cooper Flag plays. But so I don't want you just going out there and buying any Cooper Flag card. That's not what I'm saying. That's the exact opposite of what I'm saying. But this is one to avoid. Why? Because it has zero bids. And when you look at the last sales of this card, they are far less than what like they're a third of the price of what the opening bid of this card is. So that, that's an easy one to avoid. But. But again it's authenticity guarantee and it's an auction so I wanted to bring that up. It's not. It has to also meet some of the other requirements. Here's another one like Victor Wembanyama Prism Base CGC10, you might be thinking wow, like the PSA10 sells for a couple times this 299.97 but there's no bids. Now it still has six days and six hours. So there might. But that's a high opening bid. That's why it has no bids. So I want you to kind of avoid auctions like that initially. Now if that gets bids later on in the week, great. Here's another one. Looks super clean, like future stars Cooper Flag auto. But when you break this down In Hobby Flipper, the way that I've broken down the other cards for you today, you see that the buy it now at 1250 just eats into all of your upside. Like, even, even if this one gets a PSA 10, you have no upside because it's because you paid 12.50 for it. So you really have to be cognizant of all of that stuff. There are a lot of data tools out there. I mean, I think I've shown you a lot of reasons why. No offseason.com and hobby flipper are the best. We have someone in the live chat asking, do you get a free trial? No, there's no trial. I mean, it's super cheap. There's a monthly option as well. So I mean, if you don't like it, you can unsubscribe. But I would say try it, right? I mean, there's raw to grade, upside and downside. There's best time to auction off your cards, top ebay sellers to buy from. There's the inventory, and flip management is outstanding. So, for example, I want to show you guys Lefty and I looked at it last week, but I want to show you guys my updated inventory and flips on Hobby Flipper. So on my portfolio, You can see here. This is my Hobby Flipper portfolio. And again, no offseason.com premium members have access to this as well. So I have $27,189.27 total invested. That includes all of my grading fees because Hobby Flipper helps you keep track of all your grading fees, your shipping fees, and all that stuff. And the market value estimated is 24, 457.31. But that's lower because most of the cards that you see here that are raw, I have 111 holdings. If I go raw, you see I have 60 out of 111. So more than half of the holdings are in grading right now. So that's why. Right, that's why that the market value estimated is lower. But the potential profit that I'm holding is 20 $521 and $29. So when you look at a lot of the cards that I'm holding, I'm up on a lot of the stuff that I've talked to you guys about. Like, let's look at my PSA 10 holdings, for example. So my PSA 10 holdings, Patrick Mahomes. I'm up on a lot of them. Justin Herbert. I'm up. Why? Because I bought those cards back in March, February, March, April. Joe Burrow. I'M up on Jaden Daniels. I'm up a ton on Jalen Hurts. I'm up on. I'm up on my Bryce Young Prism Silver that I bought on January 21st. That's worth 50 more now than it was. So there's just a ton of, there's a ton of positives to tracking your portfolio in this way. And Hobby Flip. Hobby Flipper helps you do all of it. Now, from a flips standpoint, that's also cool. So out of all my flips, my actual sales in 2026, total revenue, $41,553.85. Total cost that I've spent 28,900. My total net profit, 12,648.69. That's a 43, 44% ROI. So I'm making 43.76% average total average ROI across 49 flips. So. And then just being able to see like, which ones I've done the best on. How about the Kobe Bryant PSA 9 to BGS 9. 5 play? What a win that's been for not only me, but many of you in the no offseason.com fam, including Lefty. We're pumped about that play. And again, there's many more when you look at the sports card rankings. Now, the other thing is the Flipper rankings. The Flipper rankings are badass. So when you track your portfolio and your flips the way that I just showed you, you can enter yourself into the Flipper rankings at Hobby Flippers. So we can see who are the top flippers over the last year. Well, Tim S. From a total net profit standpoint, Tim S. Is beating me. He has 84 flips.14.439.26. Loyal. No offseason.com member for several years, obviously executing our plays to perfection. I'm number two. $12,660 and 33 cents across 47 flips. Rose Bros. Is number three. 10,883 across, 136 flip. I mean, and then just go down the list. I mean there's so many great. It's going to show the top 25 hobby flippers lefties in at number nine. Let's see. Is turn Turner's number 16. Same with this Victor Wembanyama prism red ice PSA 9 this Victor Wembanyama rookie blue yellow green choice PSA 9 Patrick Mahomes prism silver PSA 9. Again these all have a ton of bids on them. Victor wembanyama tops chrome PSA 10 tops chrome number one base. This is an interesting one. Cooper flag on card auto. It's a goal. It's got an uh, NBA gold diamond, it's a tag nine. So my thought here is Cooper flag on card tops Chrome auto. But if it's a tag 9 and an NBA gold diamond, that could be a crack and submit the psa. So I'm eyeing that one. But that's just a little sneak peek window into more that I'm going to talk about on the premium pot. We noticed a few discrepancies between your submission package and our packing requirements. Upon reviewing your submission, we noticed the following issue. Incorrect semi rigid card holder. You used top loaders or oversized semi rigid card holders that do not meet our specified requirements. To help ensure a speedy pro smooth and speedy process, we kindly ask that you take a moment to review our PSA Shipping guide. Thank you for your attention to this process. If you have any additional questions, please reply to this email. So really, no harm, no foul on that one. So for peace of mind, if you're submitting through me a any of the submissions I've already made, not that big of a deal. Worst case scenario, I get this email, it's not going to really slow it down. If you submit your cards to me in a One touch or a top loader, I'll take them out, I'll put them in card savers, everything's gonna go well and that's what I'm gonna do with all of my cards as well.
