It's episode 31. Yes, it is. We are coming off the National. Rusty Guard Takeover and SummerSlam, otherwise known as. This is Hangover week, folks. Trying to recover, get back to normal. However, Brett and Adam, how we doing? I'm well. Adam has probably had more of a stretch than I have with Summer Slam in the mix. I feel like I've been digging out all week, but the energy is high for me. Maybe I'm faking it a little bit. The spirits are high probably because the energy around Wrestling Cards in Rosemont, Illinois last week, it was just fantastic. Gotta agree, gotta agree, man. It was. I've been to a number of, of that, of that experience type of A convention atmosphere unlike anything I've ever seen before. I had the most success there of any show I've ever been to. Just great to meet the people. Great to see you guys. Brett for the second time in a. In a few weeks. But then Dakota SummerSlam and sort of witness everything they did on Sunday night was even made it like the most epic week of wrestling that I think I've ever been a part of. And it's only. It's like I. I feel like, yes, hangover, I definitely feel like the hangover exists, but the same time, like I feel like we're still just on the road to everything that's going to happen in the second half of the year. New set coming out, you know, new pay per view sort of set up by WWE that I think are awesome. Directions that they're heading, you know, it's just incredible overall. Ryan, more importantly, how are you doing, sir? I'm a day off, boys. I'm still, still going hard. No, I came in yesterday. I will tell you this. It was. I, I tried to get up early. I didn't get home and get to bed till about 1 o' clock Sunday night, going in till Monday morning. And I had to get up early enough, like six o' clock in the morning because it's my wife's birthday. I want to have our presents ready, get the kids up, went to breakfast. But 9, 15, I go, I got to get my car clean because I had so many bugs on my windshield. So I'm going through the car wash. And I'm not kidding. Those 30 seconds, I'm pretty sure I pass out the wheel for 30 seconds. And I was, I was brain fog all day yesterday. However, I got through the day, I left like an extra 30 minutes early. Cooked steaks last night. Finally got my first really good night's rest last night. I woke up today feeling like myself. I'm ready to go. I'm here. I. It never stops, never sleeps. So we're here. We're back at it. So I've recovered and let's get on with orphil. And you. And you had chlorophyll. More like. Yu-Gi-Oh You had probably one of the most epic sales weeks that you've ever had at one of these conventions. I think you said to me that you had set some records, so congratulations. All that hard work throughout the year absolutely paid off. I could see the, the hype at your. At your booth. We're gonna spend a ton of time at the front here so Brett can be a part of it just talking about the national everything. We'll get into some of the things that you, you actually ran into at your booth. But Yu-Gi-Oh it's my wife's birthday today too so that's kind of crazy. Yu-Gi-Oh So we're recording this. By the time you get there it one-of-one matter. Wife birthdays are important so let's just have a discussion. I didn't really put together like a true agenda here because I think we're all just going to riff on through what happened to us at the at different parts of the show. Ryan. Like just because I think you play an interesting role having a booth there, having sort of all the sales, buying and selling that you've done. Like walk me through sort of like what your experience was last week because I got periodic updates but even I haven't heard sort of like some of the in depth stuff that I'm sure you guys went through over at RBI crew at in that secondary room next to Bo Jackson's Battle arena. Oh Yu-Gi-Oh It was basically non stop. So we have two 10 by 15 booth essentially a 28 display cases full and 10 of them were WWE be designated. However we had backstock and I ethically failed. I had 21 two row boxes ready to go and there's three two rows I didn't get to and they were really, really really good. And come Friday a guy's like oh do you have a rock out? I was like Yu-Gi-Oh we should have five or six out. And he's Matt turns me goes no we don't. I go what do you mean? He goes you didn't give me any go. Oh they're one of those boxes. So I priced it Saturday morning and they were all gone by Sunday. So I think we would have actually done even more if I got to these. But they're all great stuff that I'll just piggyback till next year. So it was nonstop. We sold a lot of wrestling cards obviously. Bless was one of our bigger buyers. They did two Blaze online. They did two big purchases with us over the weekend. They came back on Sunday and then another rather large one. But the biggest thing was I what we always hear is there's so much wrestling here at this booth. Like there's so much and it's. It's a year long project. It's awesome to be able to do that. We one-of-one be able to dedicate as many cases next year. Probably cut to 8. Only reason is is that we're unfortunately have to move spots when you go to the booth Lottery, somebody can easily take your spot. That is a higher priority. We will be close. We're going to be set up next to sports car junction next year, but we will lose five display cases. So, you know, but again, we will still have the great setup. But it was just nonstop, man. I had two guys on it. There are very well versed in wrestling and Matt and Nathan Midwest, otherwise known as BSG nickname and my Matt one, Matt two so I got to talk to a lot of people, got to buy a lot of awesome wrestling, which I'll get to this week. However, it's get back, deal with product, deal with business here, card shop first, and then I'll get to share what we Beckett up. But the atmosphere is wild. The amount of people that came over for wrestling was absolutely insane. There was more people in it this year than there ever have been in the past. Man, that is so great to hear. I mean, that just. That warms my cockles of my heart. Right? As they say, your cock of your heart. All right, I like it. No, that. That's awesome. Here, Brett, what now? You. You were kind of camped out for the first two days at least at Card Ladder recording content. How did everything go for you? It was great. It's interesting to be a individual not behind a booth, but who is also working professionally at the event because you get mixed up with collectors, which the conversation with collectors were amazing. The collectors are there to collect, buy, sell, trade. And it's like, I want to be that person. I want to do that. But I also have priorities and meetings and all those things. So all of those things were good. There'll be content that'll be coming out on stacking slabs and meetings to kind of push the brand forward, all of those things. But the sliver of time I did have to kind of buy and look at cards, I just kind of just spent in the same area. And I was focused on wrestling cards, which was more prevalent than I can ever remember. I mean, you know, I can remember being at the national in 2021 and just like trying to shake trees to find something. And it was very different this year in a good way. I mean, not only were dealers like Ryan and RBI Crew 7 set up with tons of inventory, but the it was the home for some of the biggest wrestling cards of the moment. There was the John Cena WrestleMania patch auto, which appeared and is up for auction alongside. We'll get there for sure. Yu-Gi-Oh Alongside Darius, meeting him and seeing the Rhea Ripley WrestleMania patch auto, which was at Takeover and then ended up at Goldin next to the John Cena which was a sight to behold. But Yu-Gi-Oh for me it was just the connections and meeting all the wrestling collectors which I'm sure we'll get into Takeover, but man, if we do it again next year, which I want to speak it into an existence because it was certainly a highlight. The thing I was the most impressed of at Takeover was the insanity of high end wrestling cards that were in that room that night. It was like it blew my mind. So Yu-Gi-Oh man, I had a blast and I dedicated all my the fun non professional moments. Two wrestling cards and it was awesome. That's great. Yu-Gi-Oh just the number of wrestling collectors in that room was great. We'll get there in a second here. But just you like you said like Steve Pac was there with like all of his Absolute nuclear weapons worth of reference cards that he had. But Yu-Gi-Oh like to your point, like, like I didn't get to spend a ton of time at the show. There was just a lot going on. I got there early on Thursday, got to walk around a little bit on Thursday, got to go to Brian THC sports cards booth who had just some of the most insane wrestling cards from Flawless and stuff like that. And then going to Ryan's booth and seeing all the insane stuff that he had laid out. I mean it was like, it was like being in Toys R Us as a kid. And like you go to one Toys R Us and the next door there's another just as big Toys R Us full of wrestling cards. It was unlike anything I've ever seen before and just being able to sort of peruse there and, and like it was like a gathering spot like you said. So like it wasn't just that like Ryan and Brian and THZ had all this stuff in their booth. It was like every other wrestling collector at the show was hanging out around there. So you got to see everything going on as it was going through and just like connecting with, with everybody around that was, was so incredible. I've always said for the national convention is more about the people than the cards. This year it was kind of like I didn't expect it to be about the cards for me because I rarely find anything that I don't already have. I bought you know, like stuff there that from deals that I had pre arranged and I sold some stuff to RBI crew and, and Ryan's team to fund that. I sold some to Brian to fund that. Like it was just so much fun wheeling and dealing. Takeover just added that exclamation point. Got to meet some New people too. So like that was cool. Like when you're pulled aside in the aisle and they're like, hey Gman, I listen to your podcast and blah blah, blah, like that's the best feeling in the world, right? Like I'm sure, Ryan, you had people walk up to the booth and sort of talk to you and sort of highlight what you mean to their collecting experience. Like that was a moment for me probably six or seven times during the entire show where I was having 15, 20 minute conversations with people I'd never met before and they were just like, hey, like you've inspired me to do this or your podcast really helps me to navigate X, Y or Z. So that was really, really. Yu-Gi-Oh it's, it's an awesome feeling. And you obviously, you know, as many years we've done this now, you know, I basically had the staff there to help people and I want to talk to people, you know, and obviously I have meetings to step away from and you know, one morning I forgot to price all the one on one so I had to stay behind. Didn't get there till like two one day. But it's a great feeling. And the amount of people are like, we love listening to podcast and, and I did a big deal with Jordan Taylor. Awesome guys. Been a customer of our for years. He had his family with him, bought an awesome wrestling line. I actually showed you, Brett, some of the pictures. Think I showed you to Adam. He actually says he loves the podcast. Even his daughters came over and they're like, just so you know, our dad absolutely loves you guys. Podcast shout out. Yu-Gi-Oh they were at Takeover. Yu-Gi-Oh that's so awesome to hear that. It's a great feeling and it just, it's what it's about. It's, I love doing the show to see the people. It's, it's people in the hobby friends that, the friendships that I get to make for lifelong friendships, bringing people together for things we're passionate about. And again, I, I kudos to this. As much as I do other sports to collect everything, there's nothing like the wrestling card community. They're just the best people. They look out for one another. I look Brian, THC actually had a couple Randy Orton walk up to his booth, looked into me, wouldn't let make a dime off me. I kept, I was like, well then I'm gonna buy something else here. You know, I gotta, I gotta hook you up. And it's just the amount of stuff that walked up is cool and I gotta, I gotta do a shout out here to the story real fast. I got this picture here of Troy and Tim holding those booklet attitude eras. Real quick story. And I had One Parker pulled three years ago. Three of the redemptions. 25 we. This is the 20, 23 Immaculate Attitude Era. 25. Or is it 15 signature or 10 signature booklets? Whatever it is. Yu-Gi-Oh something like that. I can't remember. 10, 12, something like that. Something like that. So Parker pulls three, keep one. We sell one to James. Good. And then I bring one to the national. Neil does a post. I had no idea. He did a post posting our one case and that was in there. So Tim sends me a text that night or the afternoon. He's like, hey, how much is the booklet? It's hard to see. I tell them how much it was. He said, okay, I'll come by. Then Troy text me two hours later, hey, I'm interested in that booklet. And by the way, they're friends. This is a cool story. So I tell Troy, I said, he's like, will you do some trading? I said, I'm down with whatever, but let me give Tim first crack. He asked about it. So Tim comes over and we do our big deal. He gets some other stuff. And while I'm there, a guy is like, hey, that booklet. I was like, Yu-Gi-Oh it's already spoken for. We're doing a deal. So we finish up the deal. The booklet's gone. This guy pulls me over, he goes, hey, can I ask you a question? I was like, what? Would you be interested in another one? I said, sure. He goes, I know you, I met you before, blah, blah, blah. It was really cool. So I buy that booklet from him. So I have another one now to replace. So an hour goes by, I finally get come to and I'm like, I better call Troy so I can't make this up. So I go to call Troy and he's not answering. I'm like, okay. I look up and he's just standing at my booth looking at me smiling. And I'm like, okay. Like, well, you. Your ears must have been Regan, because you're here. And I go, I got some good news and bad news. And he goes, tim got the booklet. I said, yep. He goes, all right. I go, but I got another one. He goes, what? I said, I can't make this up. One walked up to me as I was getting rid of that one. So him and I did an awesome trade and I had a cash. He did not realize I was a Seth Rollins collector as well. He had pulled the Cactus Jack from last year from Hobby Cactus Jack Zebra base 101. I got that from him and some other stuff. So really cool story to see them with that booklet dealing that. They both got it from me. One out of Parker's hands, essentially, kind of. And then one that walked up at the same time. That's what. That's just so cool to just have that moment with those two guys who are also really good friends. I got to hang out with them for a few hours after SummerSlam. They are the best guys. They. Troy helped tremendously in getting the. The event set up. Bought us pizza. Like, I mean, the guy was just the glue of wrestling card takeover setup. He was there the whole night, closed it down with us. Tim was there the whole night. Like, I mean, you can't state. Like, he had other stuff that he had to do. And like, he said, I'm purposely avoiding that so I can be here and take over. But that was really cool. It's awesome. Great guys. And I'm. I'm a raving fan of both of them. So awesome to see. There's a wrestling wrestler specific nugget that I wanted to toss out there and just get your feedback because we haven't talked about this, but there was several times where I was at the RBI Crew 7 booth or I was at with Brian. And sometimes I just like to meander. I like to listen to what people are asking and the questions. And to me, the name that I heard a lot, just asking, and it was higher end. And I also heard, do you have anything of this guy for $100 or less. But it seemed to me that at the national there was a hunger and desire. Probably maybe it's just going. I know at the weekend, but man, it was obafemi, Obafemi, Obafemi. All day, all weekend long. We left with this many obafemis. We left with not one obafemi card. Everyone sold. He was the hottest name for the week. I brought. I bought a bunch of them. Yu-Gi-Oh Like, I bought some from Brian every obafeme we had. Yu-Gi-Oh Obafemi was in demand at wrestling card takeover. He was in demand at the booth. And Brett, you nailed it. I know you bought some. I bought some. Like, we all walked away very oba. Heavy in Oba Femi. Benefit of getting there on Wednesday because I saw the Flawless base. In Brian's case, he had the. The base he had the ruby and the emerald. And I knew when they were staring at me in the face, I was like, these things are not going to last probably past tomorrow, so I. I better do. I'm surprised they. They made it to setup. Past setup. And we'll talk about this in the big sales, but the one of one Flawless gem sold during the show as well on ebay. So there. So that one, it will get there eventually. Before we get to the John Cena, because I want to spend a couple of seconds talking about that and Rhea Ripley with Darius who. Man, can I give a shout out to Darius as well. We're not to take over yet. That guy brought so much life into the room. Any room that he was in, that guy lit it up. He came over and we were talking about the Rhea Ripley. And he's like, listen, I have this for you. And he gave me a gold Refractor autograph of Becky Lynch. I'm like, darius, I. I don't want to take this from you. Like, please, like, let me give you some money for it or something. And he's like, no, I want you to have it. And just gave me this card. And I was just, like, floored by, like, his generosity. And, like, he's just the best sort of a representation of what this wrestling community is all about. And, like, during Takeover, like, everybody wanted to see Rhea Ripley. He took pictures of it with literally everybody, which I thought was the literal, coolest things, because he deserves every minute of it. But, you know, and then to see him consign it with gold. And he's going to get a record price for that card. Hope he does insanely well. We'll talk about it here in a second. But just wanted to give Darius just a huge shout out because he made that weekend so much more happy for me. I know you've shouted him out several times, Adam, but we gotta shout out Steve as well. Just. Oh, my God. Yes, absolutely. So I know he helped a lot with the event, but when. When the pizza came from Troy, this was one of my favorite parts of the weekend. Before the calm, before the storm, Troy brings in the pizza. I'm like, you're the pizza man. Shout out like, you rock. I was starving, and I just sat and ate the pizza while Steve let me go through his incredible Rhea Ripley collection. So I was like, this is what I want to be doing right now. Eating pizza, looking at just Absolute stunners. So shout out Steve as well. Steve. Steve was my personal MVP of the weekend just because he not only brought all the Energy similar to what Darius did. But I had a bunch of stuff that I had to do on Thursday that I'm not going to talk about publicly yet. We'll talk about it when it actually goes live. And Steve was. And his wife is so amazing. Like, I can't even say enough good things about. And if you're not following Sam, WWE step a mock. That's why dude helped so much, you know, just helped me out, helped the party out. Like, everything was just made better by Steve being there. I was so busy, I Goldin capture any content. Like, I was doing some work and doing some other stuff. And Steve was. And his wife were literally going around making sure everything was captured. All the film, all the stuff out, even outside the party. And that was just so helpful. Two of the best in the business overall. And not saying everybody else isn't, but, you know, they. They just stuck out. Let's talk quickly about John Cena, because when we were recording Brett and I on Tuesday, we were saying, like, I wonder what's going to happen that we're going to come back today and talk about. I don't think either of us knew that John Cena was going to the. The WrestleMania patch autograph. The biggest wrestling card potentially of all time was going to lie under the radar for a number of weeks from what I had been told, be graded at the show and end up in Goldin like, auction showcase without any fanfare, without any camera of it being pulled, without anything. It literally just showed up and everybody lost their shit. Like, we were like, what is going on here, Brett? What was like when you heard that the Cena was there? Because I think you were there the day before. I was like, what was your reaction to that? My reaction was I need to go see it as quickly as possible. Just as a fan of wrestling cards and a fan of John Cena, what a story for the National. I love the fact that it. There was no publicity, it was kind of under the radar and then just showed up at the National. I just think, what a cool story. What a moment for wrestling cards. Maybe we go back to maybe the size of this card. I would love to get your perspectives. I mean, we measure the value of cards through a lot of different things. Obviously the subject on the card matters. We like autographs. We like, you know, event Used materials. This car we like one of ones. This card certainly has all of those things. I know I. I made it a point to talk with some people about his retirement the end. And I might or might not have let the cat out of the bag that when he walked out shoeless there might have been a tear or two in my eyes as mine after, after that Saturday night of it and then we got to relive it and unreal. And I was like. I got emotional watching it on real because I was like you get to. Do we have to do this again? So there's like all of these emotions, these moments like John Cena obviously is an undeniable all time great. The period in the market right now is very, very strong. This card has all the elements. I just, I want to get your perspective. Like where does this card stack up when we're talking about biggest, best wrestling cards there ever has been. Like what are you guys thinking about this one? I really, I mean I think it's going to shatter the rock black. I think we're at a different point now. There's more eyes. This is a big name obviously being last. WrestleMania obviously wins. Number 17. This is going to shatter the rock. I really do. I think there's going to be some big time players in on this card. We know Cat's already one of them but do we get Mr. Wonderful in on this? Do we get, I don't know, Logan Paul. Does he bid with somebody else? I can tell you right now I may put my hat in the hat in the ring there and give it a go. I don't anticipate to one-of-one it but be kind of cool even though I'm an Orton guy one but again, I think you're going to see something insane. I think it's going to be fun to watch this one and the RIA as well since they're going to run them together. But I just, I don't see how this does not go well. Well over $150,000 with the potential buyers. And you got to remember we're going to see people jumping into this space that are in other sports that don't collect wrestling because it's the John Cena because we're in the goat element of the hobby now. We're going to see people who don't collect wrestling. Let's be honest, I really wonder who one-of-one the Stone Cold Rock because that's top scroll with Zebra Could have been some guy collects basketball for all we know. That's like oh, the goats. It's Superfractor. First of its kind. This is a first and last of its kind. This is going to honestly be the highest selling wrestling card in history to date. When it sells, you mark my words, stamp it. Yep. I think Ryan, Ryan nailed it and Steve and I got to tape with it. So we started a trend. I feel bad. I'm sorry, I'm reach. I'm just say this, I'm sorry to the Goldin Team. I talked with Ken Goldin at the booth and I was like, hey, you know, it would be great. What I represent the wrestling community would be great if we could take the card out and do like a quick real with it or whatever. And he was like, Yu-Gi-Oh sure, like they'll unlock it and they'll get it out for you. We came back, they unlocked it, we recorded it and then literally there were like five to 10 other people that all did like pictures and stuff with the card. And so I'm sure they just kept the key in somebody's Beckett that was walking around the booth because like there were like so many people that took that card out. And I love that. That just represents how much interest there is in this card and how many people wanted a piece of history and just being able to hold it and take a photo with it. I think that's so cool seeing that we also have the Rhea Ripley running in the same auction. There's just going to be a ton of eyes on wrestling cards and I wrote about it on main event wrestling cards today. Just talking about like how this is going to impact our space going forward. Because even if it doesn't sell, for the record, both of these cards together are in one. One auction is just, I put up on the screen that, you know, it's, it's the biggest wrestling card auction of all time. And thank you, Liv Morgan. So I think like, you know, that's going to be really awesome to see. But real talk, in your opinion, out of all the patch auto in this set are these 1 and 1A, 1 and 1B or 1 and 2, like the number 1 and 2? Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh Do you think, I mean, like, I think punk could do 40 to 50. I just, I mean Cody I think could do 60 ish maybe, but I think this is maybe 70. But I think these are the top two ones in the product to get. I think then Goldin got both of them running at the same time. Yu-Gi-Oh Yep. I would be surprised after the excitement that we just felt at the national that both of these cards, I, I would say at minimum 100k at minimum on the Ripley, and I. I think maybe even double on the Cena. Oh, I think we're well over double on the scene. Like, I would. I would love to see. He. Like, it's not. I, like, could it get to seven figures? Probably not. But could it get close? Probably not. Could it get half? I. That's a possibility. Right? Like, I think we're. We're, like, we're having people talk about this, and it will be, to me, like, if it goes for, like, less than $100,000 for whatever reason, like, I just feel like that, that, that would be. Yu-Gi-Oh I know, but that would be, like, a huge disappointment. Right? So, like, I think because we're feeling that anything under six figures is a disappointment, that just shows how much ceiling there is on this card. But, you know, I don't know who pulled it. I don't know how it got to the show. I don't have any information. I was told it was pulled in a case a couple of weeks ago. They were planning on bringing it to the wrestling or to the show to get it graded and put in this auction with Goldin Like, all of that was done ahead of the show. And it's just, like, that's shocking. It's one of those cards that just showed up out of nowhere. And there were people who are still chasing it in breaks, too, which I. I think is interesting that, you know, they didn't have that information going into those breaks, but they have still spent $3,000 on a spot or whatever. But either way, like, this has the potential to redefine the expectations of what a wrestling card could potentially be worth at any time that happens, whether it's the Hogan that Heritage did or the Rock Black. Like, anytime that happens, it just sort of resets our own internal clocks of, like, oh, I pulled a card. It could be an $85,000 Superfractor that sells because it has the Rock and Stone Cold Fanatics definitely presents a lot of those opportunities. And what we just saw at SummerSlam with Roman Reigns wearing a patch on his pants for the first time, imagine what that card's like in one of the best matches of recent memory. Like, he's wearing a patch. And the same thing with John Cena setting a record or Jey USO winning his first title or any of the other huge things that happen at these events. So Dynasty is going to come out and they're going to have these SummerSlam relics there. Like, SummerSlam isn't a small event either. It's not the Zebra bowl, but maybe it's like, you know, a winter sort of battle between the Chiefs and the Ravens or something. I don't know. But either way, like, that was really cool to see. Being able to hold the card was cool because we only have 30 minutes left and I know this is going to take a while. Let's talk about takeover. Okay, 30 minutes left probably for Brad. How much longer we go with me today, buddy? Least at least three more hours. Are you in for? We're going Broadway on this. Like, imagine Fleer with his 60 minute wrestling matches. That happened. Like, we're going triple that. All right, anyways, so Takeover, Friday night, it was at the Embassy Suites. We had enough room for. For like 350 people to come. We bought a lot of shirts and they were all gone. Yu-Gi-Oh we bought 350 shirts. They were all gone. We had a room filled with, I would guess probably 400 people minimum. There was standing room only. And, like, it was absolutely incredible. All the work that the three of us put into this over the course of the six months leading up to it was well worth everything that went down. We did some incredible giveaways. We did. We talked. I mean, I had more conversations. Like, Ryan always talks about. He loses his voice at the National. Like, I. My throat was, like, very difficult at the end of the night because I was talking basically the whole night. But, you know, when we did the original one, like, you know, I said it was the best night of my collecting career. This is even further above that just because of what it meant to the community and how many people were there and all the amazing conversations I had. And just I forged, like, I would say, like, coming into the event, like, I knew what was the wrestling card community was capable of. I walked out of the event, like, with better, bigger relationships with just people that I've just talked to online because we had that experience together. I mean, you mentioned Troy and Tim from Wax Culture and Card Vault, Stephanie from Mama Breaks was there humongous thanks to Eddie for filming as much as he did. He just sent us the reel of sort of some of the clips that he put together. I didn't get to take a single picture with you guys. I didn't get to take a single picture with anybody. I walked out of the event with an empty phone. And thankfully there were so many people there taking pictures and covering the event. I felt good that it was at least, you know, memorialized for posterity's sake because I don't have anything of my own. And seeing what Eddie sent me this morning and what we just posted on Instagram, like, I'm glad that that stuff exists because I was too busy sort of having fun with the collecting community to really experience it and take the photos and do all that stuff. Steve took a bunch of photos, everything. It was just so cool. Overall. I'll let you guys Yu-Gi-Oh in because I'm sure I'll react to sort of what you guys are saying, but I don't have much else to say other than thank you to the community for showing up. Thank you to the community for showing out and just showing us the power of what wrestling cards can mean to the National. Yu-Gi-Oh I think it's, it was a Pulsar to be a part of it. There were so many kind people, people who said thank you for doing this, which is always awesome to get recognized. On my count, there might, might have been more, but four WrestleMania patch auto you had the AJ Styles, you had the RIA, you had the Ray Phoenix and El Grande Americano, which is crazy. Steve had his 22 black Prizm Roman Reigns, which I was just like, I was going for that one. Yu-Gi-Oh Shout Out Diamond Card Collector. Yu-Gi-Oh he had the Finite Roman. Finite. I mean, the cards were just insane. You had some big transactions happening. I talked to and heard from individuals who weren't going to the national, but just drove specifically, like, people. Yu-Gi-Oh Someone said they drove 10 hours just to be there and they weren't going to the national, which is awesome. And then I'll just say this, like, this is why I love in person and why I love events like this. Like, stacking slabs is really built and organized around activating specific pockets in the collecting community and the. I just got validation for the approach that we're taking here by an event like that. I think about, like a conversation I had in connection with just Josh Luber, like, never maybe traded a couple messages over time. He was there for a while. He was there for a while. I had long conversation with him. He talked about, like, his interest in wrestling cards and, you know, talked about his brand. But he was just like, so nice to like, break down the digital front that we're all behind constantly and just like meet people one to one and talk about cards and wrestling cards in the hobby and the industry. It was just very, very exciting. Adam, obviously I got to give you some roses. Just you worked your ass off in making this all possible. You were just a beast and we're all better for it. So I, I, it was just a hell of an event, man. I over exceeded my expectations is an understatement. Yu-Gi-Oh And. And first off, you know, for the record, I apologize. I. I was there. I got there late, but I shut her down. I shut her down. I had a dinner with one of my distributor I've done for a very long time. And. And she had. I think I got her to get 10 of my staff to go. I kind of had to be there. I. I asked her to patch auto back a little later and she bumped it up. So I apologize. Everybody that I get to talk to during that time, I'm sure most people stop by our booth I chatted with, but I was there later. It was awesome just to go there and chat with everybody, hear how Beckett it was. You got me on record right now. I'm going to have to give her the double bird next year and say, sorry, I can't come to your dinner. I've been doing this for years with you. I skipped it one year for an arresting event and she gave me a hard time about it. But I'm going to give her a heads up once we dock it again. As long as we get approved by the national committee. But I can't think again. Adam and Brett, enough. Adam, you were a rock star with this. You ran with this. You got it all the room set up. You know, obviously we handle the back end stuff to get it done. Brett, the promoting, everything you did on your end, great job to these two, you know, caps off. Got to give credit to Neil. Neil was on it with the shirts with the awesome. Yu-Gi-Oh our shirts done by one of my guys locally, they turned out great. I'm wearing one right now. It's actually Frank's shirt. Steve Frank, if you know Billy Madison. But it was so awesome to see what I did, see and hear what I heard. And just knowing that the shirts were gone instantly. The amount of people when I woke up in the morning, the amount of Instagram tagging stories faking, oh my God, it was 38. And I was like, guys, I'm gonna be a while to get there. I have a lot to re repost and read. And it was just such, such an amazing feeling to know that Adam knows this. Where the first ever one went to, which was main event to what it is now was Yu-Gi-Oh It was like, I don't know, going wrestling, like in a. In a gym to going to wrestling at Madison Square Gardening. I guess this is a great way to really put it. And again, thank you to everybody that came out supported. The magic was in the air that night. The cards were in the air. Real quick. Chris here was Is holding a couple Zebra fractal. As he pulled from the national exclusives. He had pulled the Randy Orton Zebra auto at the event. The great story. Yu-Gi-Oh Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh Let's go, let's go. Sorry. One of my good. My kids baseball teammates and coach who coached my kid his birthdays, they gave him a free box of cards. So when they came in to give it to me, he's pulled like a 10 way booklet auto on there. Oh my God. Yu-Gi-Oh So he's just like showing me. So sorry because I can look through this. But where was I going? Geez. I got a little slight. Chris, Chris, Chris. Oh Yu-Gi-Oh So my phone started blowing up as I'm at this dinner. So then I'm like, I gotta step away. This is, this is more important than this dinner right now. It's like cold Adam. And I was like, here, I'm with this Chris guy. And then turns out he knows me. Way back in my YouTube days. So we had some really good stories. Turns out I get there, we do the deal. I'm like, hey, I don't have any cash. You got to tell the story. You just can't tell the aftermath. Well, that this card got pulled. Yu-Gi-Oh So he's. So you were. So let me tell the lead up here because your deal was awesome and the way that this all went down was awesome. You can remember better me, I'll leave it at that. Yu-Gi-Oh exactly. So Chris bought four of the national exclusive boxes. We'll talk about that here in a second. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh He ripped one of them ahead of Wrestling Card Takeover and pulled a Becky lynch red autograph. So he was coming to sell that card. And to me, outside of Wrestling Card Takeover, we did that deal. He comes inside to the party and starts ripping the other boxes. The first box he rips and we're. I'm over on the other side, like we're getting set up for some giveaways and all of a sudden I hear I got a Zebra I got a Zebra So naturally a hundred people just swarm him as he's revealing this card. So he starts pulling the card down from the top and we see the bald head and we're just like, oh, oh my God. And like he reveals it. It's Randy Orton's face. I'm like, oh my God. And then he reveals the rest of the card. It's the autograph. And everybody's like, where's Bannister? Where's Bannister? Where's Bannister? So we found nowhere to be found. But he got the Deal done. You showed up and he's a great guy. Chris Merck does a ton on social media with his shop. He then ripped another box and pulled the JR Jay USO autograph Superfractor, like literally back to back. And so that was really cool moment for the show. But Yu-Gi-Oh finish your story about the deal because you came in and you had this long conversation with him before the deal actually got done. Talked to him on the phone, on Adam's phone to him, and he's like, look, man, I been here, nothing. I know you are. You're a big randy guy. When you get here, we'll figure it out. And obviously I thought we came to a really good agreement. I end up throwing him, sold Ruka select second year or 24 PSA 10 in the deal. He would. He collects her gold to 10. He was Zebra pumped. He got some money. Then he came back the last day. We talked more. He bought some more stuff. He was awesome. And it turns out he knew some people that I've known the hobby for a long time. And he's like, dude, I used to do this and that. So I. I mean, it was cool just to hear that. And he's like, I'm so glad I pulled it. I love the wrestling card community. I'm not a big wrestling guy, but I'm starting to get into it. So it was great. And then of course he was like, well, I had people tell me, once I told him I did your deal, they would have paid me more and stuff. He's like, I don't care. I'm like, I don't really know if it's really worth more than what I paid, you know, but. But I was like, I appreciate you doing that for me. And it was just so cool to see that happen. And then the best part is the Zebra not auto walked up to Brian's table, the next guy, both of them. And Brian walks over, he goes, I just bought this because it got thrown on ebay. I woke up and everybody's like, it was on ebay for like 2500. I'm like, it's not worth anywhere near that. I bought it, came over, told me what he paid. I was like, let me give you more. Nope, nope, I don't want any more. I was like, I got to give you more. Like, let me give you more. You help me out. He's like, nope. So shout out to him. So awesome. I'm actually going to do a post. You're going to be listening this come Saturday. I'm going to be Doing a post this week of me holding that card with Chris and the other one with Brian and them together. Kind of just talking about the story a little bit, but what's about. And again, thinking everybody at the. The Wrestling Card Takeover there was like, ryan, Ryan, Ryan, he's your guy. And so cool, man. So cool. And funny enough, that was not the only time that one of our collecting targets was hit at Wrestling Card takeover. Yep. So my friend Keith Steele, who has been a WWE collector for forever, like back in 2019, we're talking came to wrestling Car takeover. He's come to the others as well. So he was one of the OGs that sort of came and was a part of this. I. I would. I met him at. At 38. WrestleMania 38 is at transcendent Party. Like all that other stuff. Like, he's been there forever. He has packs in the lobby while people are waiting. We're still setting up. So people are waiting in the lobby and they're ripping packs past the time. And I was setting up the T shirts with Brett, and I was setting up the T shirts on this table, and then we had stickers and stuff like that. And I offered to buy Keith's box because I was buying some of the boxes just to rip and have fun. And he was like, no, I don't want to sell. I want to rip it. And I'm like, all right, well, just let me know what you hit. You know, let's have a good time. You know, it'll be great. And all of a sudden, like, I'm watching him rip the packs and he pulls, and he's like, oh, I got a Zebra And I'm like, this is incredible. Like, in the. As we're waiting to get into the show, and he starts to, like, slide it down and reveal. And I see the red hair and I'm like, gotta. Oh, my God. Gotta be kidding me. I almost had that box in hand. I wish you had the box. I wish I had that box in hand. So he pulled the one of one base Superfractor. Becky lynch did the deal with me before the party even started, so was really happy to get that. I don't have the autograph yet. I don't know where that is, but I'm hoping to get it at some point in the future. But Keith's a good guy. Want to shout him out because we've been talking for years and years. He has the 101 transcendent that he still one-of-one sell me, but I'll hammer it out of his Hands at some point. And so that's the type of stuff that happens at these parties. But that's just crazy that both of those cards were pulled, like, hat or around the party was just insane. It's awesome. Give me. I'm gonna give one last shout out here, shout out to the national committee for allowing this. Yep. I was getting that wrestling company. Go ahead. Go on. No, no, let Brett before I have. I want to do that in the next game. I want to make sure we got that covered. I don't know what the. Ahead, you know. No, I know. I know. Go ahead, Burgundy. You put it on. I'll read it. Come on. There's a story. Quick story that I want to share, because as we were talking through it, it, like, flashed back in my mind. But I also want to thank Josh Calder, card collector. Yes. Who? He showed up, and he just came up to me, and we followed each other for a long time. He's a big WNBA collector. And I was like, oh, you're here. And he was like, Yu-Gi-Oh He's like, would you like to buy my 2025 centimeter Punk Black Geometric? And I just go, are you married to the price on the sticker? And he goes, nope. And I go, made him an offer. He goes, it's yours. And it was, like, nice to the price. So we got a deal done. So that was great. But, dude, I have to. I just can't stop thinking about this. And so there was a fellow, and I did not know him, but I learned, obviously met him at the show Rage Port 28, who came all the way from Germany. Yu-Gi-Oh Yes, he did. He came with the AJ Styles WrestleMania patch. And I. I. I'm not gonna mention any numbers, because I don't know what's happening. But one of my favorite moments, Steve diamond, card collector, made him a. I thought was strong offer on the car. Yes, it was a very strong offer. And he just. He just looked at him, and he was like, do you have an Instagram? And he was like. He gave him the Instagram. And he's like, okay. And he, like, walked away. And I was like, oh, man, this kid is just playing hard to get with this card. But it was just like, Steve. After he left, Steve and I just looked at each other. Steve was just, like, blown away by, like, this kid's presence. But I don't know if they ever struck up a deal or a deal got done, but it didn't. Yu-Gi-Oh But no, that's an insane story. Yu-Gi-Oh Steve was trying to get that card, and you Know, it's, it's from another. It wasn't his. So like Rageport, that's not his card he was selling. He brought it there on someone's behalf. And like, you know, obviously we weren't intending for this to be like a deal making, you know, hub for the national. That's not what we've tried to do at this party. But, you know, Steve and Rageport, this is a unique opportunity to buy a card that's never available anywhere else, especially given that it's overseas. So Steve was trying to wrestle it away and it didn't work out. But that was a really funny experience. And shout out to Rage part. He came all the way to the show from Germany, brought a ton of insane cards with him. Young kid compared to the rest of us who are old veterans here. It was great to hear his story. Just decked out in John Cena gear. I loved it, so that was cool. I also want to give out a shout out to Wookie cards. Austin dressed up like Sting. Like, that was so cool. He was full cosplay the entire night. It got hot in there because there were so many people and he was still wearing the trench coat. Like by the time it got to be like 10 or 11 o', clock, I was, I got to give him a shout out for that. By the way. It took him 45 minutes to get all the face paint off his face. Oh, I believe it. He was, he had. He posted the process on Instagram and it was just like, I don't even want to know what he went through for that. He's carrying a bat around with him. It was perfect. Okay, let's, let's just. I do want to say thank you to the National Committee. I do have a slam trying to get this to advance, but it's not going to. Two things I want to do here. We already talked about, you know, sort of the roles that they played with us individually, but Troy was there again, set up to tear down, and then we went out afterwards with him and Timmy. Those guys were there the whole night. They were keeping people fired up. It was awesome to see Noah and the team from bcw, Tim from big Hat. Tim who you guys probably have seen him walking around the show with his. The giant baseball hat, did a ton of giveaways. They had special, like, mags for the show. They gave away supplies to anybody who needed them who was ripping at the tables. Like, you talk about just being there to support. That was a great thing. Brian THD Sports cards. Gave away a ton of graded cards, gave away some WrestleMania sets. We gave away a ton of stuff that ended up with these two girls that were there because people would leave and give their raffle tickets to those girls. So they actually one-of-one a ton of stuff, which was awesome to see. Did I forget anybody? I don't think so. Right. That's everybody. Oh, you said car later. Did you say Carl, I said, Carla, Yu-Gi-Oh they were. They weren't able to make it, but. But they, they were awesome. Lastly, thank you to the National Committee. They trusted us with this event again and they didn't have to. And they didn't even ask us to really give a ton of information or anything. They were just. They trusted that Ryan and the team would be, you know, stewards of their show. And we were. It was perfect. No one got out of line. There was no issues whatsoever. And we had a community celebration that will be talked about for at least another year. And thank you to them, thanks to Al, thanks to David Marino, thanks to all the guys there that have helped us along the way and Greg at campus housing. What an amazing job getting us this venue. Thank you so much. Ryan, anything you want to add there? Just because you have such a good relationship with them as well. Yu-Gi-Oh I want to thank Al for allowing us. He was with the bat and said, hey, you know, I want to make sure that Ryan gets the opportunity. So big shout out to Al. He made this possible going to them and saying, Yu-Gi-Oh giving easily President of the National Committee. And he really went to bat for us. And, and we were given this opportunity years ago, but this was bigger on a much bigger scale. And again, we Goldin go without the sponsors, without the National Committee. But more importantly, you know, Adam and I had a lot of conversations leading up. It was like, I hope everybody shows up, you know, I hope, Yu-Gi-Oh we turn out, you know, and. And I said, man, just in obviously the week of the national, just talking to people at the booth and stuff. I was like, this is going to be a big hit. This is going to be awesome. We got in that little Instagram group which everybody talked about it. I just got the vibe that this was going to over exceed all expectations. We put a lot of work into this, a lot of time obviously promoting it here on the Stacking Slabs network on book less as well as Brett promoting it constantly on his social media. Thank you to everybody all around between sponsors. Everything wouldn't have been possible without everybody. It was a cumulative thing of everybody group effort, you know. And again, I gotta tip my head off to both Brett and Adam who, who put in a lot of time in this as well and. And Neil on the back end. So Neil for sure. Shout out to Neil, man. He got us the standups, he got us the shirts like RBI crew was as much the bad. Even though you didn't able to enjoy it. He like the backbone of, of that sort of setup was, was all Neil, thank you. And Yu-Gi-Oh obviously watching Eddie's video today, I'm like, those cards were in that roof and I was at a dinner being okay, not next year. So again I, again I, I hope I didn't offend anybody by not being there early. I already let these guys know. I didn't know if there was going to be a chance I could. Unfortunately we didn't get out of the national until 6:20. Tim had a walk to our room, quick shower and had to be a dinner at 7 o' clock and we were 10 minutes late. 10, 15 minutes late one-of-one But again, I am so proud of everybody. I'm so blessed that this actually happened and went over better than we could have dreamed of in my opinion, from everything. Yu-Gi-Oh Just Yu-Gi-Oh I'm just, and don't take our word for it. It's not just us saying it. Everybody, everybody was saying, everybody was hanging us and people were coming up to me the next day and that was great. Five minutes for. I came on the podcast family that comes in with their boys, they love wrestling and I was just talking to them and they just, they go, how did Friday go? Oh, that's what they're getting at is resting card takeover. And I, I kind of told them like, it's like we get, you know, obviously didn't go but the buzz is out there because I get, I think they listen to the podcast as well. So it just. Cool man. It's really awesome to see what this has turned into from just the small beginnings to now and it's just awesome, really is. Any final thoughts, Brett, before we, we let you go here? Yu-Gi-Oh another hour to go. Yu-Gi-Oh I, I think the primary takeaway is even if it stunk, I think people would still be excited in putting us over because they got free T shirts and we, we fed them. That's the magic T shirt and pretzels. Let's go. Everything was free. Free non alcoholic drinks, free stacks food, free shirts, free stickers and then all the stuff that everybody gave. So everything is free. That's the best part. Yu-Gi-Oh as, as I get out of here, I just like there were a lot of things that happened. This national stimulation overload as both of you both, I'm sure are still coming down from. But when I look back on the 20, 26 national wrestling card takeover will be without a shadow of a doubt the first thing that comes to my mind when you both Started spinning up this idea shortly after this podcast started. I was like, are these guys for real? Like, do they. Can we really do this? And it happened and it happened and it exceeded my expectations just in terms of production. Everybody being so kind, getting the room together. So shout out to both of you and Ryan, definitely you and your team. It was. Thank you. It was. It was so great. So, Yu-Gi-Oh I'll listen to the rest, but appreciate you guys and everyone else listening. You, Brad. So I promise I one-of-one make this very long. It's not like we have SummerSlam to talk about. That didn't happen this weekend. Right? Exactly. So I think, like, for me, I left on Saturday morning because I had some stuff to prepare for at home that we'll talk about another time. But, like, the understanding here coming into SummerSlam is like, I can't believe that this event happened like the same week as the national because a lot of people who were at the card show went back to Minneapolis to go to SummerSlam. I was able to make it back to go to the Takeover store. So I got a bunch of autograph pictures. I got shirts and everything. I'm wearing one of them right now. It was awesome. But the main thing was Saturday night was really good. Sunday night of SummerSlam was even better. And that was, by happenstance, the one I was able to go to. Let's talk about Saturday night first, because Randy Orton is back of all like it out of nowhere. So what was your impression of sort of just seeing Randy come back and sort of the aftermath of night one? That felt great to see him back. It was. And he winked at you? Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh actually several people. Like, was that wink for you? Actually, long story short, I did text him welcome back on Monday with a picture of a car to God. And he responded, I will keep what his responses private is pretty cool. But eventually one day I could talk about it. Let's just go that route because I don't want to root to what it could mean to. But it was really awesome from a fan. You know, my kid, actually, my kids, I didn't get to patch auto with them because obviously I'm at the National. So last night I put that match on. Even though, like, go to the open match, go to the open match. I'm like, we got to watch the ending of this first. And my youngest, Blake is now obsessed with Randy Orton. So the apple hasn't fall far from the tree. But it was just awesome to see him back. I'm excited to see where the story goes. You can Obviously pivot off of Punk and Cody's done that. We're going to go another angle, but really cool moment to see that. And obviously I haven't got to watch every single match. I've watched a lot of recaps and dove in because I just haven't had the time. But overall, SummerSlam really kick butt. And I know we're gonna probably talk about Raw. What a Raw. But let's, let's keep talking SummerSlam. Yu-Gi-Oh So Obafemi and Brock Lesnar close out night one. Like what a match. I think like I. Brock announced his retirement on Monday or on Tuesday. Didn't announce it at the event. So I still, I stand by the fact that, that this whole program wasn't really necessary. But the matches that have resulted were, were definitely cool and awesome and I think the hell in a cell delivered probably one of the better matches that Brock Lesnar has had in a very long time. I was really happy to see that anointed by Brock Lesnar at the end of the match. I thought that was really cool. But you know, Cody versus Punk was a good match. I think everybody will only remember it because of Randy Orton and I think that's, you know, probably what they were hoping for. Very interested to see smackdown because at the beginning of Sunday night we had a massive return. We had. So I don't think so. We get to the show and we get into the, we get into everything. And the first match is this number one Contenders match for now we know it's Punk's title. And all of a sudden like Nick Aldis comes out and adds Gunther to the match. And we're like, okay, that, you know, they just had a match on Sunday night or on Saturday night. It was a good match. Great for Nick Aldous to be back. And he's like, oh, you only thought I was adding one person to the match. No, I'm adding another. And he brings back KO in the stadium. The pop was ear shattering. It was so great to see Kevin Owens back. Obviously he was going to one-of-one We knew he was going to one-of-one the second day that his music hit. But it was great to see. I love seeing Kevin Owens back. Smackdown is back up. Well, I was, let me see here. I was in the vehicle. They were trying to find all the stuff from Russian car takeover at the embassy. That took about 20 minutes and I'm like, I'm not leaving my vehicle. Of all the stuff. So I send my guys in and you and Brett had texted ko's back and I'm like, Crap I was going to list, you know, I'm like, he's, I gotta say, feel bad for two people in this situation, one being Finn Bauer finally thought he was going to get his chance to have his moment. I'm like, Yu-Gi-Oh he'll surely beat Savvy Zane. And also, I'm sorry Neil, your boyfriend Powers. I feel so bad. Neil Beckett up a lot of good one on ones at the event, but awesome. I have not got to go through and watch that patch auto I, I, we had such a, it's such a long week, but I'm gonna go throughout the week, watch a match or two with my boys. They, they love it. So we're gonna slowly patch auto throughout the week. But I've obviously gone on cheated, read social media, read watch highlights. But being seeing Kevin Owens back. Oh so so Neil, literally I told him we were at Portillo's having dinner. I go, Yu-Gi-Oh you might want to look. I said, you're, you're gonna be mad, but you one-of-one be as mad when you see he goes defin one-of-one see who came. Go watch, go see. And then he goes, okay, that's cool. But it still sucks. Finn should have one-of-one you know, but, but happy to see KO back. I, I love, I think they have an awesome storyline. Him and Punk on the mic are going to be incredible. I am pulling for Kevin Owens to take the belt off of him. I feel like he's gone through a lot to get back at this point. I would love to see them put the belt on him because I think him and Randy have some great paths that they can build on and, and again, not just me being a Randy fan, but I think there's more to where they can go with this direction and it gets somebody fresh on the title. Yu-Gi-Oh exactly. Fresh is key right now. So I would love to see KO get his another run at the end of the title he deserved. He hasn't had all but that one that he did back in the day with the red Triple H turned on Seth and, and that was on Raw too, which is great. Of all things, as if smackdown wasn't getting a bunch of reinforcements, now we're in the latter match with five women who listen, as much as I want Tiffany Stratton to one-of-one in her hometown, I don't need to see her one-of-one I don't need to see Charlotte Fleer one-of-one I definitely don't need to see Lash Legend or Jade Cargill one-of-one You and I both agreed and Brett agreed as well. Chelsea Green needed to have her opportunity and she got it in the best possible. The pop for Chelsea was almost as big as KO and I think that is so beyond awesome. You got to see the clip of her and Matt Cardona celebrating a ringside. Like, it was just such an amazing moment. Everybody felt for her sort of after that Michael Hayes comment, which I don't know if is a shooter or work, but either way, she shouted him out on the. On the post show. Good for Chelsea Green. Good for everybody. So just to give you guys a listening out there, a card market, real time. Chelsea Green, since the match ended on Sunday night, has had 170 cards sell. Obafemi since Saturday night has had 140 cards sell. She has sold more cards than Obafemi in that time frame. In the previous month, she's had like, combined like 100. So good for her. Like, the market is definitely responding. People are obviously already responding to Obafemi. Roman Reigns less than both of them, and he one-of-one on Sunday night in one of the best matches I've ever seen personally live. We were sitting with Jaden from Wax Culture, and we were back in the lower bowl in the 10th row, and we could see perfectly. We saw all the aftermath of them fighting for the crowd right in front of Troy and Tim from Wax Culture. They're on camera doing the Oba strut on Saturday night and then on Sunday night, right where Roman and Seth were fighting. So go spot them in the crowd on the broadcast. But that match with him and Seth we knew was gonna be a banger, and they absolutely delivered. Yu-Gi-Oh I want to touch real quick on the Chelsea match. So I was driving back, and this past week, Serious Radio launched the wwe. Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh So we actually listened to it all the way up, all the way back. So I was listening the match, and John turned to me for the match. He goes, who's your peg to one-of-one I said Chelsea Green would be the most obvious that I would put on because it's in the interim championship. She's done everything at this point. She deserves it. This is a title where they're doing this now, kind of like UFC she does. This should be perfect for her. Obviously, the obvious would be a tiffy in hometown, but I'm like, they're already. I knew. I had a feeling Chad was going to one-of-one as well. I mean, you already have somebody from hometown one-of-one so what a moment. But it's crazy. You're listening to. It's different listening. No, we're not watching. Okay. And they're describing everything. And it's Harping at ladder bats. Like, they're like, this is going on. This is all of a sudden the first time she gets up there and then me Chin and B Fab come up. But you could just hear the crowd going crazy. I'm like, john, this is where she's gonna do it. She's gonna one-of-one And then you hear, oh, no, here come B Fab and me chan. I'm like, okay, maybe she isn't gonna one-of-one And then all of a sudden they talk about everybody's out. And they're like, wait, Chelsea was playing possum. She's up. She's up. Like, gets up. Like that goes up. It was awesome to hear the crowd in the background. So I want to talk about that. And then obviously I shouldn't have done this, and I'm not condoning anybody, but I had to put that Roman Seth match onto my vehicle on my dashboard to briefly, at least listen to it live. patch auto briefly while I'm driving us back. Yu-Gi-Oh What a. I would have to say within the WWE and Triple A, the second best match of the year. I still rank the El Grande Americana match over this, in my opinion, but what a classic match all around. It was done right, no, obviously, the beautiful, beautiful storytelling. Just an all out, vintage classic match. And I obviously had a feeling knew Roman would one-of-one but way the way it happened, I Goldin have scripted it better. I thought they did a phenomenal job. You were there. And then the shield thing. The shield thing at the end got a huge pop from the crowd. That and then paying homage to Ambrose with a move. Beautiful. Just storytelling all the way around. Me being such a Seth fan, those guys can just. They can just work, man. They're wrestling soulmates, man. They're wrestling soulmates. They are. And it's. It's great. It was great to see live. I will say this. Roman has had two matches this year in WrestleMania and SummerSlam now that will stand the test of time long term. So, like, we always talk about, like, oh, this one match where they did like eight flips and through each other through 18 tables and whatever. Those matches never get remembered. These matches stand the test of time because they are built around these insane storytelling of like, you know, Seth and Roman being brothers in the shield and the eventual turns and everything. Like all the twists and turns from their journey. Finally putting that to bed and coming together at the end with that, with that shield thing was just so well done. I mean, everybody in the stadium was just jaw Tribute like, oh, my God, I can't Believe this is happening. I got to patch auto back on the broadcast. It was even better. You got to hear the trash talking and stuff that they were doing during the match. Yu-Gi-Oh Roman is. Is proving with Seth that they are the two best wrestling storytellers that I think I've ever seen. And it's just every single time that they are together in a patch auto magic. And Sunday night was. Was no. Was no shock there. I think one last thing I want to touch on before we move on to some other stuff. The Raw after Smackdown or Raw after SummerSlam Summer Slam. Yu-Gi-Oh sorry. Was really freaking good. And Roman comes out. He's interrupted by La Knight. Fine, whatever. But before La Knight came out, like, Roman sort of paid homage to like everything that was going down. They were in Seth Rollins hometown, which I thought was interesting. And then like midway through the broadcast, like, Liv Morgan and Judgment Day start beating up. So Ruka and Becky returns to say, I'm coming for you. Cut Just a deep promo that I was marking out. Like you have nobody's business. Because it's not only Becky giving an awesome program, but she's giving the promo. She's cutting that promo on Liv Morgan, which has made it that much better. Liv is backing down the ramp and oh, Stephanie Vacair is back as well, which is so cool. So wwe, I put out on Twitter, it was just like, you've got KO and punk. You've got Obama Rampage looking like a king with that white flowing thing that he was wearing. And like just Randy's back and Becky is back and vec hair is back. And it's like I say put it back out there. We're. We're back up. Do you think that the WWE is listening to Book the last because we've talked about how horrendous smackdown's been. Now I'm like, I'm actually gonna start watching smackdown Live versus going on with all the storylines are going to go back up. I got to ask you, are they. Do you think Becky is going back to being a face out or do you think Liv's just that? Not like, I, I don't know, but I love the promo she cut and she's like, I've already made that title famous, honey. I'm not here for that. I'm here for this. And then she gave the whole all time and I was like, oh my God, sendir to come back too, which I called two weeks ago. I. I Goldin wait till she came back. So this is getting fun. I. I think, well, I. I think it's, you know, obviously SummerSlam kind of ends from. I would say rumble to SummerSlam. You got like the. The epilogue. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh So here we are. A new quote unquote season. And what a way to start. I am excited. They know what's on the horizon. The. With NFL returning. They know they got a lot of. Yu-Gi-Oh They've got to set it up. And right now what we're seeing and who's returning. I'm all in. This is great. I think absolutely flip the switch from the last time we were on to now. It's just. I'm excited for the next chapter of what wrestling and. And the biggest thing we're hearing is the future. We heard about the. We keep hearing the future. It's Tribute by all these people. Brock Lesnar. We've had other people in as well. Roman, all them. Seth, I think you're about to see the next generation in our eyes coming in the next year or two. And they're really going to be putting a lot of emphasis on the next generation, which I am all here for. I love it. Side to be a wrestling fan right now, Even Bron Breaker vs Obafemi had that face off on the ramp. Was great. Put that. Would you say last I put in my veins? Is that what you said? Yu-Gi-Oh I just put it directly in my veins. Yes. We walked out of the show. I ran into Tim Trout and David Sharp, who we had on the podcast. Great to see both of them at the show. Got to connect with them a little bit. They had early flights. They Goldin come out with us. Timmy and Troy, we ended up at a bar right by the stadium talking about wrestling for like two and a half hours. That's the best. Do you have some man sodas, too? I hate that you call man sodas. Like. Yes, we did. We had a lot. But is there no better hang on the planet than literally after the biggest SummerSlam potentially like I've ever seen, going and hanging out a bar with two guys like that and Jaden and just being able to hang out in trade war stories was like the best night I've. I've, like, I needed that so bad. When you did it on the Friday night as well. When we all hung out back in my hotel for a while, I was. That's right. Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh That's awesome. I'm so happy. Yu-Gi-Oh it is. And you just keep going on. It just. It did. The passion that wrestling fans have, you know, is unmatched in my opinion. So I'm glad You got to enjoy that time with him. A great guy. Awesome. Awesome. So I want to talk briefly just the national boxes. I'm. We're going to spend like 30 seconds on this because we got other stuff. Topps put out these national boxes. We didn't have quite the amount of detail on them coming into last week's show. These boxes were a blast to rip. I ripped about six or seven of them. I ended up with like a Blake Monroe autograph, Chad Gable autograph to five. I pulled five red refractors out of five. I got the Becky Lynch Superfractor. You got both the Randy's. Like, everybody was having a blast ripping these. They were going for like double the price of what they were being sold for because people knew that they were like so loaded with awesome stuff. I pulled a Dominic mysterio out of 10. So I gave that to Babyface at Wrestling Card Takeover. I have. I pulled Alexa Bliss to 10. Like, these boxes were so much fun. I don't know if you got it even got the chance to rip any of them, but they were. I got to do two. I only put it for one day. And then Corey got a box and then he traded me. I had something. I did a trade. I did pull anything great. But I think I hit a red of Seamus or black of Seamus. I remember I gave all my base cards and all the guys gave all their base cards to Brian THC because he wanted to be. Yu-Gi-Oh I got two for him as well. Whatever you don't need, just give the kids. You know, we were just happy to. To actually get to rip a few. And it was cool. I. I mean, three of the four cards in the product. If Seth has an auto I own now, so obviously the South. Oh, sorry. He does it got pulled. By the way, some of the set video. I would love to add that if I could, but again, if I don't, it's not the end of the world. I Beckett up another group of good stuff. So, Yu-Gi-Oh if you. If anybody sees the Becky Lynch Superfractor autograph, I'd like to have it just as a memory of the event. And I was happy to get the one that was pulled at Wrestling Card Takeover. So whenever I look at that card and be like, oh, that was that night. Yu-Gi-Oh it's with the Orton. It's awesome to. To have that memory when I see that car now. It's not just a card I bought online. There's a memory that goes through it and the conversations that you have and remembering where it came from. Nothing tops that when it comes to this type of stuff, Topps released a number of cards over the last three days. They did one for the one drop for night one, one drop for night two, and or drop for Raw, which was the Becky and Seth, Stephanie Vicaire on one card. I had to order a bunch of those. That was an awesome moment. They have an autograph of Obafemi, they have an autograph of Chelsea Green, and they have an autograph of Kevin one-of-one That's not the cards people need to chase. One of them is a dual autograph of Brock Lesnar holding up Obafemi's arm. It is one of the coolest cards that I've ever seen Brock Lesnar be on. It's just a moment in time that will is great. And then the coup de grace is Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns doing the shield pose with a dual autograph, which is just an absolutely sick card I had to order. I never order non Becky cards. My next question, how many did you order? I never order non Becky cards. I ordered a bunch of the dual Obafemian Brocks. I ordered a bunch of the Seth and Romans. If I get the card, great. But because I was there for that moment, like, I wanted to have that. And that card is just absolutely. So if you pull. Because I'm buying zero because, you know my tracker, your luck is terrible. If you pull the Seth roman dual autograph 101, are you A, keeping it or B, are Jameson and I gonna have to get a ring and go at it? You're gonna have. Okay, all right. I'm not gonna hold it from you. Yu-Gi-Oh Okay. Well, then Jameson and I are gonna have to. Have. Have to duke it out that if you pull it. I'm hoping he pull it and then we can have the match. Right? Oh, I know this is coming. This is. Yu-Gi-Oh So Tops launched their wrestling Instagram account. I'm gonna talk with the guy who runs it here coming up. But, like, for a while, the Topps wrestling handle on Instagram has existed. They launched it with these Top Now, Tops now card releases. Really great to see Topps creating a wrestling channel specifically for the wrestling content they get. They're giving away a John Cena card. The giveaway will probably be done by the time you're listening to this, but it's just cool that Topps is dedicating a full Instagram account branch off of their major tree here. So that was really awesome. We also got SummerSlam Patches are back. Obafemi, the one that I spotted it on early on because I Only watch. I was able only able to watch the last two matches and so I was really happy to see that they are making SummerSlam patches again. People had spotted them on many wrestlers during the course of night one, but there was one wrestler in night two who I saw wearing and I mentioned it earlier in the podcast. Roman Reigns has not worn a WrestleMania patch to date. This was the first time he has agreed to put one of these patch on his gear. And you can imagine when this comes out it would probably be Dynasty 2027 that these cards are available if the New York, New Jersey ones are from 26. So insane. This card is going to be insanely valuable just because of the of the circumstances of that magic. Agree. I am just more blown away that you know, Rome went from never wearing one to putting it so in plain sight. Yes. Like I go, John, I'm literally looking at the driving a vehicle. Shouldn't look at my phone. There it is. It's right there. I feel like I'm Leonardo Cappello. Yu-Gi-Oh exactly. You know, I'm like that's it. He's wearing it. And then Brett Texas because obviously did you see it on the the Tron or did you know, I. Okay, so Brett was one that texted our group and I'm like holy crap, he's wearing it. I was like, because I remember seeing those at WrestleMania. They're promoting at the top thing. So Yu-Gi-Oh I mean Yu-Gi-Oh the OBA is going to be popular and I'm sure Jameson is going to break the bank just to bring the Roman home. So awesome. Very select few big sales during the course of the national. They were doing eBay live. RIP it is Logan Paul's company and he does Pokemon and a bunch of stuff on there. Rip it was doing auctions and they had gotten a hold of the cops. Now money in the bank. Logan Paul 101 foil fracture as a graded PSA 10 it sold on the stream for $60,300. Now there's a reason why it sold this high. One is Logan Paul's company. They had thousands and thousands of people on that stream. Secondly, this is may end up being Logan Paul's only official like tops card. Like they have struggled to get him into sets. It's happened more than one time where they've tried and just haven't been successful. This is the one of one and it's sold. It's the third highest selling minor wrestling card of all time. Well, and it is going to only be as ever even if they make more cards. This is his only rookie 101. Yes. Correct. This is it. It has the rookie card logo on it. Has a rookie card logo on it. For those of you just the listening on the second snaps network as much people like that's insane. I looked at this ago. I don't think that's insane. Especially if he can't get more cards but again he's not going to have rookie cards. They already did it in tops now back in 25. So if we get Logan Paul cards in 27 you can't slap a. Yu-Gi-Oh Triple stamp. A double stamp. You put a rookie card on it. This is it man. It's. This is it. So I got him to break character. I got it. Triple stab. A double stab. That's great movie buff here. So Yu-Gi-Oh I love it. I don't think this is crazy. I think, I mean people are like Ryan's out of his mind but things are happening man. Things are happening. More people in the space there's more stuff that we know that went down at Rusty Car takeover we can't really bring to light but Yu-Gi-Oh there's some card selling for big money in the wrestling scope big that are going behind the scenes and and we're aware of it but again we don't. We're not in the position to publicly announce that the one on one we mentioned this earlier. The Flawless logo or not The Flawless diamond one of one from 2024 Flawless sold on eBay. Best offer during like the last day of the show sold for $14,000. I think this is low first of all but I think you'll end up being low. I think it's probably like a little bit less than market value because it was listed at 75k. Obviously it wasn't going for that but hearing what some of the Prizm golds have been selling for this is a little low. What's your guess? 2025K probably. 2025. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh It's kind of what I thought. So anyways, so we mentioned it earlier but Oba's cards are going absolutely bananas. I bought a bunch of them at the show. Like a bunch of them. Brian sold me a few. Got some off ebay. I. I mean just what's not to like? The guy's a beast. There's a beast. He's the future. Yep. Last one we'll talk about here. The Roman Reigns Planetary pursuits Pluto. So the most rare parallel of all the planets. Highest selling planet to date $3,000 via best offer yesterday. So after the show, after the SummerSlam show like these cards are Cool. And stuff like that. And so I think people are showing the popularity. This is an unnumbered card. So it's just like you're kind of just guessing that at the rarity here, I've been told, you know, five or less. There's somebody out there said two. There's more than two, but less than five. $3,000 be a best offer. Huge number on that. It's the biggest one to date. Really awesome. Yu-Gi-Oh If you need to complete it, that. The whole set. This is. You just gotta buy it if you're trying to actually complete it. There were four people at wrestling cards or three people at Wrestling Card Tape Takeover that had the complete set there. One of them, Yu-Gi-Oh Birdman has Seth Rollins. Okay. Gunner Mathis has Cody Rhodes. And they had all the cards there with them. So I got to see. It was really cool. And there was one other one that had. I don't know if it was Joe Hendry or somebody else, but like, to see the completed solar system is. Is really cool. I. I love that idea. Birdman actually is getting it, like done. And his. Seth Rollins has like a frame where it's like, it has all of the individual cards, like around Seth Rollins and like, it's really cool. We're at the end. I. I didn't go too long. This was. Ryan, like you and I have talked every day for the last year, two years, whatever. And you, I talked to you about everything from life to wrestling cards. But like this week, I can't place another week in my life. And you'll find out why later on. Why this was even bigger than what we've talked about here. But like, I can't remember a week in my life where I've had this much fun. I Beckett up 5:1 on ones or 4:1 on ones at the 5:1 on ones at the show. Like, that never happens. Where I can get two soup three Zebra fractures, a black Prizm 101. Yu-Gi-Oh so I mean like, like I said, I can't remember a week of collecting of just sports fandom, like everything where I got to do all of these things at once. National convention follow SummerSlam or SummerSlam following national convention. Heading back. We're going to the Loons game tonight which is a WWE themed MNUFC MLS game tonight for my wife's birthday. I can't wait. It's gonna be awesome. There's. I'm sure there'll be a wrestler or two there. First of all, thank you for all of the support that you put into this party. People will never know kind of what we went through and nor should they, but you stepped up above and beyond and thank you and Neil and the entire RBI crew team for everything you guys did for the party. Picking up after, after we left, I had to duck out a little early. This convention was unlike anything I've ever seen. I don't know how we top it. And you say that literally every year and then it's like the next year it's like twice as big and you're surprised and it's just like, I hope we can do this again next year. I hope the national committee gives us the opportunity. But Yu-Gi-Oh I mean like, what a week, man. What a week. I don't know if you have any other final thoughts before we wrap up. Well, first thing I want to say is thank you to everybody. Came and supported us at our booths. Not only did Adam pick up several one on ones, I Beckett up several one on ones of Orton and Rollins on top of several cards for Parker. I had a lot of people drop off gifts. Thank you to everybody again for those. But more importantly, we wouldn't be able to do the record numbers we do the show that we do without not only my team who is amazing. I have an amazing team of six people under me that ran our booth to let me be me essentially to let me just talk to people, hang out. It was awesome. But again would not have been possible without everybody supporting us. May it be just coming by to say hi or selling us something or buying something from us. It's just great talking to people. It is the best week of the year for this. The sports card industry or just card industry. The hobby in general I look forward to every year. But every year I forget I get a little Older and older and it kicks my arse more and more. Yu-Gi-Oh we were all dead tired by the time it got done. We get it on Monday and we go non stop from Monday to Sunday. And I'm telling you, when I say nonstop from the moment that we leave, we may have an hour tops to get back to our hotel, freshen up, to go to something else. And that started on Monday. There was not a break at all. And then obviously, one-of-one Ryan maybe two of the nights put himself to bed at 11 o'. Clock. I'm talking the third person. I'm usually up to one or two o', clock hanging out, talking with people. I can't get that here. I can't. You can't get that anywhere. No, I can't. And it's just an amazing, amazing time. And if you've never been, you gotta go. It's in Chicago next year for 27, then it pivots to Detroit in 28. The national is like nothing else. Just like people say, Fanatics Fest is like nothing else. These are not the same thing. They're both doing amazing things for the hobby. But I've been doing the national since my first ever time setting up was in 2011. And it gets better and better every year. It has gotten better and better every year. I don't know how we're going to do the numbers we did this year, next year from this year. But I'm a goal getter. I like to overachieve. I love to put everything I have into this. So again, what a week. Thank you again for everybody and thank you ever again for coming out to support Wrestling Card Takeover. I hope we get to run it back again next year and that all hinders on if the national gives us the green light again, which I hope they do. Mike, Bev, Celtics, and a few others have wrestling. Griffey, Gaia have wrestling cards at the table. Seven out cards as well. I saw a little bit. That's not why you go. Like, if you're looking to just buy and sell wrestling cards, like, you can probably message Brian or Ryan or Chad or anything through the year and they'll tell you what they have or whatever, and whether or not it's worth it for you to do a deal with them on Instagram or whatever. But the tops experience that was at the show Panini. I got to talk with the entire Panini team again. Thanks. Shout out to dj. Congrats on your retirement, Lucas. All those guys at Panini were great. Like, we're trying to approach this from a different manner because for us, it means something different. And I think, like, for a wrestling card collector who's considering, do I make the trip next year, the answer is without a shadow of a doubt. You need to be here. And you need to be here because it's fun. You need to be here because of the people. Literally, like, the fifth thing on this list is the car. So, like, I think that's why we did the party the way we did. That's why we set it up the way we did is because it's about the people and it's about the community, and that's always our first and foremost sort of priority.
