This episode is brought to you by Google Chrome. You think you know a browser, but Gemini and Chrome, that's new. It can help you with practically anything on the web. Like restoring a vintage motorcycle from a 50 page restoration block. Or finally break down that long article you've had open for weeks. Gemini and Chrome is here for it, ready to make anything online make sense. There's no place like Chrome. Check responses. Setup required. Compatibility and availability various 18 plus. Well, one of us was disseminating. Is that a thing? Disseminating? Don't say seminating. Disseminating false information. Last week, Jesse is alive. I thought it was 50. If Kelshi was taking bets, I think I could have gotten pretty good odds. But not astronomical odds. I think the odds of you dying would have been lesser than the odds of the USA winning the World Cup. That's a football term. They're out soccer. Excuse me? They're out. That's what I'm saying. So they already lost. You didn't die. Do you? Not an odds on. What did you tell people? I don't. I didn't hear it. Stomach thing. That's it. Oh, stomach thing. Okay. Yeah. Okay, so I kept it pretty. Bro, I don't know if you had a parasite or just your shot. Was killing you one of the two? Honestly, it's still up in the air, but more than likely it's looking more like it was the parasite. Really. So I could see you are a haven for parasites. From Sunday, Sunday afternoon last week till Friday afternoon of this. I guess this last Friday, I just was dead pretty much. I mean, like, so I wasn't far off. No. Like, if I, if, if I had to do anything, could I have done, like, could I have come and recorded a podcast? I could come in here, but I would Guarantee you I couldn't go an hour without getting up and leaving or. And I'm gone. I don't need to hear that. That bathroom is not far from this wall. But it's. It was. It's the craziest thing, guys, watch out. If it is a parasite, watch out for it, because I've heard some people, it can be weeks to a month before you. Here's the only thing they said, especially in Tennessee. It's very indicative of people reading fresh fruits and vegetables. Don't. That's not happening. That's why this is the shot. I was lit. I literally had had fresh. Fresh fruits and vegetables right before I got sick that last. And taking a shot right before you got sick. No, I did not. No, the shot was like. I had taken that almost four or five days before. Oh, yeah. Okay. So I. That's again, why I don't think it was necessarily the shot. It doesn't sound like it. It is brutal. It is the worst. Just stomach pain. I thought I was gonna have to go to the hospital, like, ER hospital. Sure. But emergency room. Thank you. And then I did go to the doctor, and here's what the doctor said. He said, all right, so it could be your shot, but more than likely that wouldn't be it because it's. It should have already passed by now if it was. So if it's the parasite, we. You don't have a fever, so you need to have the D word. I had. I don't want to say diarrhea on the podcast. You think people thought you didn't have that? I don't. You know, I think that it's implied. Most people look like that guy's probably killing it. So when I was exploding out my back end after so many days. Sure. I decided, all right. Worse than normal, by the way, because in general, you're pretty. Just. You're pretty vocal back there. No, I'm not. Well, just gas wise, but no, just a normal. Just a normal GI tract. It's a. It's all good down there. Everything, of course, but perfectly healthy. Last week was just a thing. So anyways, they said 14 days. You have to have that coming out of you for 14 days before they're going to send off for a culture. They're like, yeah, you don't have a fever. So what do they do if you have it, though? Like, it's not, like, do anything. Right. I think there's meds for it, from what I've been told, because other people have reached out and they're like, hey, I've heard there's some medicine and this and that. What if you took a piece of meat and dangle it on a. Like a fishing line down your throat and draw the parasite? I've seen people do that. It's called canoodling. Just noodling. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Canoodling is something that you and the Mrs. Are just like, cuddling. I think that's what that is. Canoodle. Okay. While you're fishing for catfish, did you try to noodle it out of your throat? I'd like to know what would actually try to come out of your throat if you did that. What's crazy is, I think the night before I finally started feeling better, I did have a dream that. That I, like, coughed like, so hard and there were, like, worms there coming out of me. Oh, I don't. Have you seen those videos of the bears walking and there's just like, string. That is kind of what I pictured. You all right? Sports car. Yeah. Hey, welcome back, everybody. Hobbies alive. Everybody's been here. Welcome back, Jesse. Welcome back to me. I. I've. You covered a lot of the. The stories that had happened that I really wanted to talk about. Okay. The tops removing cellophane thing, that was very interesting to me. But nothing Burger. You don't find those interesting? That's fine. I mean, it's still a pilot program, so it's not like fully going on. But if they were to do that, do you not worry that it would cut down on people buying? Because I. There is a certain no. Because if it just becomes irregular, if that is just a norm, just like it was back in the 80s and probably even early 90s, people just flip those boxes. You think that people would trust it just as easy. I think so. They shouldn't, but I think they will. Yeah, I don't think you should, but I don't have an answer to it still, so I have nothing useful to say. I'm glad they took a step to try to make mitigate some of it. Well, like I was. While I was sick, I had got a case of Marvel Blasters. For instance. For instance. So this is only. And it's not on hobby boxes. This is for Marvel or retail products that they would take the cellophane off of. So I am. I'm at home ripping these Marvel Blasters and hoping I hit something. Didn't really hit anything, but what I did find was. Oh, the card. The hit card, the good one is in the exact same spot, every single box. Box. Because there's 40 of them in there. After I went through like 20 of them, I'm like, yeah, okay, this I. I don't have to open. The packet was in. I just go in, I take the second pack of those boxes and I put the rest of the packs over to the side. And if I wanted to, I could just take the box that I just opened, I could take all those empty packs, resell them, knowing there's nothing in any of them. It's called hawking them. But that's what I mean. It's like that's where there is. That was like a. When I saw that article, I was like, I like the reason for it. Okay. But there's also like a part of me where I don't necessarily view flippers as completely bad for any hobby because I think it can help in some instances bring up pricing. Granted, maybe you don't want that, especially if you are a consumer who can't go to Target and get it because some flipper bottle all of it out. But I could see a positive there. The bots are still the biggest issue. Oh yeah. That is still. That is still 90% of the problem. You have to find a way to eliminate that. But it's fine. Step in the right direction. Cool. I shouldn't think it was a big deal, people doing like reactionary videos. I was like, guys, take a breath. This is not like they just bought the friggin NFL licensing. Yeah. Oh yeah. That news was not as big and especially because it's not like a. Oh, we're, we're definitely pushing this out. Everything. It was one skew. One retail skew for basketball, whatever. Yeah, I guess I would be just curious where it goes. But the upper deck thing with Michael Jordan, you covered some of that as well? Talked about and. Yep. Did you see the other bit of it where about good with Champions? I already covered it. Yes, we covered that whole story because the Jordan Redemption, I'm sure. Did you cover any of the other stuff that was going on in that product? Like as far as like the other signers and stuff, I actually think Goodwin Champions looks like a really fun product. Like overall it's fine as long as it doesn't go crazy in price. Well, the fact that you've got Jordan Autos, besides you got Jordan Autos and you've got of course, the out of 23 signed Jordan Pack Redemptions. That's really cool. But Bill Nye is signing here. He's got inscriptions. Is he alive? Bill Nye, the science guy, you know, just died. Speaking of science. I know. Sam Neill. Yeah. I know your wedding song. And then what you walk down the aisle too? Yeah. It is nice. It is. And nobody knew like how proud you. Well, I just. I knew well because I told you. I remember sitting there after my wife walked down with that guy who she didn't like at the time. Who I didn't like. Was it him or somebody else? It was another Jesse that I don't think you guys cared for as much. Probably a nice guy. I was just a. Yeah, he was very nice. Yeah. I remember looking back then. I remember looking, being like what. What's going on here? I know this song. I remember Tim, your father in law, my uncle looking around like. Like just like a question mark in his face and he's like I don't. Where was that song from? I don't remember that. Yeah. RIP Sam Neill. So many people from that wedding are dead. Your grandparents. A lot of people have passed since the guy. The guy. Too far too. Oh, that's too far. Okay. Piece of crap. You're a piece of crap. I hope you get explosive died. I hate you. So other than the cards themselves, Jordan signing it and the like Tiger woods and a number of other signers in that product. It being $450 for outrageous for an upper deck product. It's a lot. But actually I don't know if it's outrageous in this climate in the card market that we are in right now. What is. Did you look at what those things are the last couple years? Oh, I'm sure. I know. But I would be guessing 200. Yeah, I'd say two. I don't even know if they were too. I don't even know if they were that much. I hope they come back down. There's always been upper decks claim to fame. The most affordable hobby boxes on the market. I think 4, 450 for a box that has some high talent in there. Especially MJ Autos. I don't think that's that terrible. But they're super. I hate. I always hate when there's a chase. The same reason I don't like the top scrum update basketball. Yeah. Came out as high as it came out. Yes. I could hit a $50 trillion upper deck debut. I mean rookie debut patch. Yeah. I'm probably not going to. Sure you are. Probably not going to pay to hit the Jordan. I don't like having to pay for the gamble. That's fair enough. I've never been a fan. I do actually like the look of the cards because sometimes I'LL look at a card and until I examine it for more than half a second, I'll confuse it with Alan and Ginter. They do look very similar. Is that Allen Ginter? Is that Goodwin? The stupid monkey thing? Oh, that's Alan Ginter. But that's exactly my point. Yeah, you would think that could be good one. So anyways, I do like it. Here's what I was noticing though. As I was looking, I was trying to see who other signers were in this. And I get down to the part about parallels and it's showing. So this is exactly what they have. I wrote it down. The parallels in that product are they have two one of ones, they have an out of 10 and then it goes from an out of 10 to an out of 99 then. And out of 1491-992993-99499 all the way up to the 499 is pretty high because I don't think Tops has a product that they're currently doing 499s with. But every Bowman and Tops product ever, they have 499s. Oh, okay. In the non sports side, they don't have a 499. This is my question though. That is what nine parallels. And two of. Two of those are one of ones. Okay, so it's nine parallels in there. Numbered parallels to, to be exact. Would you prefer that where you have out of 499s out of five nights, say it's a thousand, a parallel that's out of a thousand. Would you go with a parallel, a higher parallel or would you prefer how they do it now where you're getting multiple out of 25. There's like the orange wave and the orange true orange. You prefer that you don't really need an insert that's number two. A thousand anymore. I was cool back in the day, but I'm not saying you need it. I don't think anybody needs an insert. You're asking me my preference? I don't, I don't want. I don't need a high numbered insert. I prefer low numbered stuff. Even if it's a variation of it. Yes. Can I ask you, is that because of the breaker side or the collector side? The collector side. I don't have like the only stuff in my collection, my PC that's high numbered. Like that would be early Griffeys 1990. What is it, four or five leaf elite. Elite leaf Limit or whatever it was called back then. Number to like 5,000. I actually probably have some Griffey's number to 10,000. It was a big deal. Junk wax valuable at all. It's a ton of money in a high grade. Yeah, but again, junk wax error. Sure. I don't read something number to a thousand. Now, I would make an argument that you have a card that's out of a thousand. You sure? There's not going to be as much demand for that as there would be for lower numbers. However, you the reason why they have multiple out of 20 fives or multiple out of 99s or whatever the case is is because they are needing to fill these with a certain amount of hits, certain amount of numbered cards. Right. It's the same reason why you would have an out of a thousand. But they're doing it where it's like, okay, well you have an out of a thousand where it's like the turquoise out of a thousand card versus here's three different out of 99s. I don't know. I, to me, I feel like the. You're watering down. You're out of 99s. Your lower numbers. You're basically devaluing your lower numbers by doing that. I mean, a little bit, but like the trust why the true color always outsells everything else. Still, true color does outsell everything. So like that hasn't been watered down. I think it has been watered down. I think it's higher than those others, but I think it is lower than what it would be if there was only a true color. It's hard. You can't say either way, right? I think you could actually. I bet you there's probably some easy ways to double check as far as what are resales on those colors. Because just think about the fact of, oh well, I'm a newer collector. I don't even know what true color means. I'm getting in and I see an out of 25 that is up for sale and it's oh, that's $99 for this guy. It's a obviously a bad player. If it's out of 99, it's out of 25. But if it's $99 out of 25, I go and buy this speckle orange versus the true orange. Was call it $110. Well, I mine it's out of 25. I don't care. They're both out of 25. Why, why am I gonna spend more for that one when I could do this one? So inevitably do they have to lower the price because no one bought their true one? They went after the speckle one. I don't know. That's. I mean, that's a lot of hype. Like you're making a lot of assumptions. Most people just know in the hobby. New people, sure, but new people aren't coming in buying. They don't know the difference anyways. They're probably not buying it. In general, most people are established. The established guys are the ones who are still paying top dollar for the premium. And then young guys then come along. I think it's true for the bigger cards really for the bigger athletes and stuff, but for like someone who's maybe not as big, maybe middle tier, I don't know if they would necessarily put up as much of a fight for that. I mean, granted, if they could have sells always. Yes. If they wanted the true, they would go out or if it was available, they would go after it. Right. My question would be though, if it's a middle tier, it's. If it's an out of 25 and there's a, you know, less than $100, it's probably not that great of a player. So do they care all that much that it's this one I could get for 80 bucks and that one I would have to pay 100 for the true one? I would say. Yeah. I would say again, if you looked at data. Give me a. Give me a. Let's just stop hypothesizing it. Give me a mid level player in any sport, you think, Especially baseball, because that's where color is the most rampant. Most of you. Give me a mid level player in baseball. Let me think. So you're talking. You don't want to. You don't want to know, Tani. No, of course. You don't even want like a trout. Where's Crow these days? Pete Crow. Okay, sure, let's do Pete Crow. See, middle tier these days. Yeah, okay. Some pop. But like. Yeah, I'm just going to put in Pete Crow orange refractor because there's. And I would take it. This is all. This all applies to all the sports you've been breaking recently. All those cards would have multiple oranges, right? Sure. Almost everything these days. Yeah, yeah. So let me go with orange. I'm just going to put in 2024. Okay. Chrome because I want to try to get some examples of the same. I like this, I like that. We are double checking. Oh, Tom. Going to put in tops. Chrome is one of the first that popped up. So let me just put in tops. There we go. Yeah. So 2024, tops Chrome Pete Crow orange refractor. This is. See, this is limited edition. Orange is not. And it's a graded card. We need some raw stuff. Isn't everything limited edition? This is Ellie's. An actual brand. Okay. So from Update, for example, this sold on June 17th at auction for 170. 2024 Topps Chrome update Pete Crow Orange Refractor to 25. I got it right. Those are raw. I got to make sure that there's another. I think Update has multiple. But let me just make sure. So let's put an update. And you said that was true orange. That's a true orange card. June 17th. June 17th. It's the running version, and it was. You said 170. It sold for 170 bucks. Yeah. This is tough. The product came out in December and this is a Wave that outsold it, but it was six months before, so it's hard to say. Let me see if I can find a regular one back then, because that would give us a much more. Okay, yeah, yeah. Because I'd be very curious back then six months ago. What? Yeah, I want to find two that sold close to each other because. Yeah, that's where. And it. So. Oh, here you go. Here you go. So. So May of last year, May 27th. This is update. Sapphire to 25. Sold for $55 three days later. Wait, wait, wait. Does Sapphire have multiple versions of a Sapphire? Is a. Is an orange Sapphire car. Yeah, it's the same picture, same everything. It's just an R. It's a Sapphire. But. Or, but I just mean, like, in most. In my experience, Sapphire doesn't have multiple variations of the same. Like, there's not multiple oranges. You know what I mean? Multiple out of 25s. Sure. But again, it's a tops Chrome update Sapphire, you have a Sapphire orange, you have true orange, you have Wave, you have. Well, but Sapphire is coming from the Sapphire product. It's not coming from. Yeah, okay. Yeah, he only has one here. Okay. I'm trying to find something. That's. Because I do. I want some apples. To apples. And while you're doing that, I'll just make the. My final point of what I was thinking in general is I would. I think I actually would prefer a. You know, I don't want it out of 2,000 or 3,000, but, like, if we had to go all the way up to a thousand, so that would limit my. Out of. Let's call it out of 50 and below. I don't want an out of 50 and below to have multiple Versions. I don't want there to be the true gold and the true or and then the true gold and then a true wave gold or whatever you want to call it. Every other Go choke myself. Every other gold version drives me crazy. I just want there to be one. I get it. Yeah. So we have to do some actual research so I can find stuff that sells close to each other. Because Pete Crow just doesn't have a lot of stuff either. That's fine. Like that's what people want. Like. Right. Do you have upper. Honestly. So the. My answer is and buy a product that offers it. Right. Like Topps Chrome, Bowman Chrome. Those things are not going to. They're going to focus on lower numbered stuff and variations of it. I just can't. You'll sell the last product that came out where there wasn't a variation. Like there weren't multiple of an out of five or an out of. You get a wave, you get a speckle. Like and it used to be with Bowman. Bowman Chrome, Bowman Draft. So like Bowman would have like the orange shimmer. This one would have the orange and orange wave. One would have the orange and orange speckle. But now you see a lot of those even combined. Yeah. And I. Yeah, that's a personal preference. But I do wonder if that is a. If I'm the only one who thinks that way. You are. Absolutely not. I guarantee there's a bunch of think the same way. Yeah. That's why products like that do. Well. I just don't like the pricing of that product. It's always been a cheap product and you've always had Michael Jordan, Tiger woods autos. Sure, I know you've added this other thing, but it's a crazy hard hit. Anyways. I don't like it. I don't like it when any company does that. When box pricing. It's not even the company's fault. The secondary market is dictating the price. I don't like that I have to pay more for a Chrome update basketball box because one guy out of 88,000 trillion people is going to hit the Cooper flag and it's going to be worth $2 million. I don't like paying for the chase. I got you. Yeah, well. And that's why I think there's so many people who instead of buying the box they go and get on the break. Because then they don't pay for the chase. The spot is chase. See, I disagree with that. Because even then it's the same. Even if you're in a break. I have to Charge more for a dog crap team because the whole price of the product has to be higher. So it's not like the Mavericks are not just eating the entire extra $4,000 in the case. It's. Everything's more expensive when the. Yeah, always everything's more expensive. Everything. Because if a baseline team used to be 20 bucks because they have very little. Yeah, I guarantee you right now a baseline crappy team is 30 or 40 bucks because again, they have little. But at the products expensive, there's just a perceived value with everything. So everything is more expensive. So like when that. The tops put out The Toy Story 30 Year Anniversary Toy Story product, like the majority, I sold that by the spot. And sure, I grouped some of them, but the majority of the cost on all that was Buzz and Woody. Right. It was like the box, the case break was buddy buzz was like 800 and I think Woody was like $1,000 or something somewhere close to those prices. And everything else was about what you would find those spots for in every other case. And it was high because you're getting them signing as those characters is a big deal. And so that was what the chase characters were. And. But I don't know, like, the other spots, they went for what they would normally go to. So that's. But there's also not a lot of norm there. How many years have you broke Toy Story? Well, the characters are in multiple different sets, so that's. Different sets, sure. But that's. That's a different. Yeah, if it was the same set, it would be more apples to apples. I could do it better. That's what I mean. It's just a tough. Yeah, I just don't like it. I would like there to be some product that just comes out and stays relatively cheap, but you're never going to see it anymore. I do. It's sad, but I think those days are kind of just by the wayside now. Stuff just comes out super expensive. Well, I mean, for the more premium ones, but. And to be fair, even the paper stuff comes out more expensive these days. But at least there are options that are more affordable because it's like, do you. Do you not see the shift in the hobby from going from, well, if I want an affordable box, I'm never going to find an affordable hobby box. But now it's like, okay, well, yeah, that's the case. Then. That was it. There was no other option. But now it's like, okay, yeah, you can't afford that hobby box, but now you can go out and get a retail Or a mega. That's always been. I'm not trying to argue with. I don't take it that way. That's always been the case. There's always been retail megas and blasters of every sport. Those are just more expensive now too. When is there a time in the hobby when you couldn't go out and get those? You always could. I guess it was like probably what a blaster is probably 20 and now they're 30 to 40. Yeah, everything that's. I mean everything is just more expensive. Sure, but so is everything. I mean, but inflation is brought up everything. Hang on. I actually saw a great thing. I'm going to argue now this. I will argue about. Inflation on some things is up. Like I think I saw a thing the other day that is a gdp. Yeah. I don't even know what that is. Domestic product. Sure. They said something about inflation. I believe it was on. The GDP is 8 to 18% on. On like 97% of items in America over the last. God, I think it was four years or something like that. Inflation in the hobby has outpaced that 100. Like boxes that used to be 200 bucks come out at 600 now. That's not inflation. The market is just way more expensive now. Well, okay, so you can take those numbers. But it's kind of out of context because. Yes, those numbers are what, 20. Call it 20% inflation. That's what it should be. But you go to the grocery store, that's not the case. There are things that are literally doubled or more than doubled in price since then. Since all this inflation started. It's what. Yes, that's the overall idea is like, okay, all products, gross domestic product has gone up maybe 20% inflation wise. Sure. But that could be where some things are the exact same price. Some things could even be down in price. And that's not the case in the hobby or others are making it up. And I'm. I'm just saying. Yes, in the hobby it's even more than 20% I agree with. But there's nothing to your point though. Yes. Something stayed the same. Something's even dropped. Nothing in the hobby is cheaper now than for you. Well, when I say some things, I'm talking about categories of things. So like sure. Food. Every. Almost all food items are more expensive than they were a few years ago. Sure. I would say the car. I don't think. I don't think exact same. I'd say there's other parts of the market. It's the more the products that are More in demand. Those are going to be. Are you disagreeing, are you disagreeing, though, that everything hobby is way more expensive than it used to be? No, I'm not disagreeing with you, but I'm saying you think it's on pace with inflation, though. I'm saying that there are multiple things that are way more expensive than they used to be. And I'm not asking. I get that. Are you. I'm just. You can't just say, oh, well, the card hobby is overpriced. I mean, maybe you can say it, but it is. Is very expensive and it is doubled in price. And that's it. You can't just like, leave it at that. It. That's it. Because there's a lot of other things that are also doubled in price that have gone up. That doesn't matter to me, though. We're talking about the hobby. People can now not afford stuff in the hobby anymore. Used to. I feel like you're. Are you trying. Do you actually believe this or you're just trying to play the opposing side? No, it's not even. I, it's not even a thing. I'm kind of confused as to. And maybe it's just that we're on different wavelengths. The hobby is way more expensive than any time in history. Coming out of the gate with product, paper, product used to be whatever, 100. So that's it. I know other things are more expensive. This is its own category. This is its own world. And if it's not okay, let's say it's in the grand scheme of everything, well, then you can't tell me one category. Food is up, but other categories are down. This as a category is through the roof, more expensive than most anything else. If you just put this in the GDP of everything, like I said, it's like 8 to 18%. This is a way outpacing that as well. Agreed. This is like, it's not even close. I'm. And I'm agreeing with all of your. What you're saying. What I am pointing out is most people are not that surprised by it. They're not. I mean, this hobby, like you said, is even more so it's up way more. But it's not as big of a surprise because people are just expecting to pay more than they used to on a lot of things, especially. Oh, that's. So that's what we. That are more popular. I got you. Yeah. That's where we totally disagree. I don't. You don't think people are expecting to pay more than they used to. No, I think people are shocked by how much more they're paying. Absolutely. You just said people are not as shocked by the price. Like, look at the amount of people who are like, no. Like, even the Facebook group, like, oh, we just don't do waxing. Like, I think the vast majority now is like, man, wax is outpriced, so. Has priced out so many people in the hobby now. I'm not disagreeing with you there, but I also think there's a lot of things that have been outpriced for people, especially entertainment. Things that they enjoy that they just can't afford to do anymore. Yeah, maybe. I mean, maybe I just. This. I think this is an extreme example of it. Like, movies are not $38 when they used to be 10, two years ago, maybe they're 18. Sure. But IMAX back then was 24 bucks. Now it's 32. Sure. Like, these boxes used to be three. And I'm not even. Again, I'm not even blaming distributor for it. Some of it's probably on Tops and on Upper Deck and on Panin. Fine. But the hobby just pays more. Like there. I just think I also have come to the realization, like you said. Well, hang on. Like you just said, there's a reason why it's up, right? It pays more. There's. There. There's value in it. Oh, I don't agree. That's the other thing. I don't think there's. I think there's some value. I think the ROI is worse now than it's ever been on product. Like, if you were to just buy a box. That's fair. Like, if you were to buy into a break, I think the ROI now is way worse than it used to be on average. You also now have the thing of. Yeah, you could go out and hit a red Buzz Lightyear or a red Cooper flag. That will outsell anything five years ago. But 99.99% of people are not going to hit that. So your one statement where you said on average. That's the part where I would disagree, because I think on average, it is. On average would mean it would be spread out among everybody, where you take all the losses, everybody who skunked in a break, and then the one guy who just made 10 grand. If you average it all out like that, 10 grand wasn't going to be the case before. Maybe it was five, maybe it was two grand. And yes, the other ones would have made a little bit more. And yeah, they would have. All together. The average would have been maybe a little higher. Your ROI was maybe a little higher. But when you're considering a ten grand payout on one spot, and yes, the other ones are not doing as great, it's still overall a very decent payout. ROI on the average. Yeah, I just, I couldn't disagree more. I don't know. This just to me is a very. I feel like I'm talking like a collector right now and you're talking solely as a breaker. That's all it is. Funny. No, I. What I'm talking about is just strictly numbers. Like it's you even that those are strictly numbers. 30 guys buy into a break. Yes. One guy might hit that $10,000 card. 99% of people, because they're paying more to get in, are going to lose money. That sucks for you. Because I. It's not my experience on this. Okay. I think, I think it probably is. I think if you went back and looked at the stuff, how many times you come in here after the fact, like, oh, this product stunk just like I do with sports. And hey, we broke 10 cases of this. Now I'm totally sold out and it's crap. Okay, you said 99%. Give a real number. What is the real number? Where you think 90, you think 90? How many people do I think lose money in a break? On a break? Absolutely. That sucks. Yeah, that's. I think, I think it's the same for. On every category of this too. No, that's the beauty. And that's maybe it's just the beauty of being on my side of things and not on the sports side, where on sports you are basically doing what, like you said 30 teams. You're selling to 30, call it 30 different people. Whereas I have 100. 150. I give away probably like 10 to 20. If I have like 150 spots in a break, I'll give away 10 to 20 of them. And. Okay, so take that number off then. That's just you giving it away because you priced it into the break. Let's say you're not giving that away. Like you've priced that into the reason why I'm doing that. No, I didn't price it. I, I put it out there at five bucks and nobody bought it. And so. Okay, well, I'm going to give it away. Let's say I didn't. Let's say someone bought it for five, ten dollars. If you get a numbered card, like in half the time, people are just randomly. There's just a random numbered card that's Going to be out of 10 or out of 25 for that character. Bam. Half the time. Yeah. You don't open a case and get like some random athlete, like a random player that you weren't expecting. But it was like you're saying like a card that comes out, it's not assigned to a spot, so it gets random off. No, no, I'm saying it goes to that spot. So. Right. Oh, sure. You just said though, you have 150 spots in a break. Sure. Let's say you get five of those. That's not, that's not half. You're not getting 75 cards that are numbered that go to spots. I'm just saying that's for like the cheapest of the spots for the other ones. Yeah, we're still pulling stuff for those. I mean, and maybe again, maybe this is from my genre of breaking and investing and buying into breaks myself. But I would say if you do it smart and you're not just like, oh, I'm going to go out and buy the most expensive spot in these breaks or even like the higher expensive spots in those breaks. Yeah, you're probably going to be overall pretty negative on your return. If not, if you're flat, I think you're doing great. But if you're just buying the most expensive spots, you're buying a lottery ticket. And people who buy lottery tickets typically lose until they finally hit one big payday. But most don't. So, yeah, those spots, those people buying into breaks, it's a, that's not the way you would make a return. But the people who are like, oh, you know what, I'm buying a couple spots. Even if I'm. I don't care about the team or the character in general. I'm just going to go out and buy some spots because they're low, low cost. But I could hit something that's going to give me better than my. What I initially invested. That is where I think people can make some money. And I've seen, that's the thing, I see a ton of people doing it. I don't think it's better than it used to be. I do think it is probably overall lower than it used to be, but it's definitely not 90% skunking or. I'm not saying not 90% not getting back what they paid. Yeah, I'd like to. I'd love to know. I'd love to see like a break that you think. So how many people do you think are profitable and break even or profitable in your breaks? I would say 25%. So again, so the vast majority, 3 to 1 are losing money still. I mean 75%, that's not. But we're also talking about the people who are losing money are losing maybe 40 bucks. So the thousand dollar Woody guy, what did he hit? I don't know. I mean that was, that's an example. I, I sure. But like it's the odds of the same over a five dollar spot and as they are for that spot if you're going to hit. But that's again where it's like, well if you're going after the biggest spot, you it the same thing applies. If you go after the biggest spot, you are probably going to be negative until the day that you finally hit that big one. It's just there's not going to be the return on investment for the biggest spots. But your, your argument of return on investment is 90% or less. That's where I would describe. I think 90. Yeah, I think 90% of people, I think lose. I'm not saying you lose 90% of your money. I think 90% of people that buy into a negative on their ROI. Correct. I don't care if it's a $5 spot and they only made four. That's a negative. I think at least 90% on any genre. Yeah, I would, yeah. And that's where I would disagree. 75% I would say from my breaks or on the non sport hobby. Yeah, you just said 25%. I think 90. We're actually not saying that drastic of a difference. I would say you just said 25%. Like no, I would, I would actually love to put some math to this and figure out where the ROI is because I mean the, it's not a secret that there's a lot of people who've come over to the non sports side for reasons just like that where they're like oh, I just see more value. They don't even care about collecting. They're not collectors of the sport at all or the non Sport, they just see more value in it. So they come over for that. Because you've said the same thing and many people said the same thing. Money's just not there unless you hit like a goat or a big player or big team. And a lot of people don't want to take that chance because they're not willing to do a gamble because that's what it's now feels like. It's a gamble versus before it was like, yeah, it's expensive but it's my favorite team. I'm still gonna buy it. Now it's like, I don't care if it's my favorite team. I don't want to spend a thousand dollars on a team and hope that I get an out of 199 card. You know, that's. That's more often the case, I think. Okay, that's interesting. I like the depth. I like the back and forth, the different perspectives. Oh yeah, me too. You want to do World Cup? No, I don't. I knew you did after. After a real discussion. I don't want to sit here and frickin. Well before we do World cup then I was just going to mention Fanatics Fest. So. Okay. SCN will be representing at Fanatics Fest. Will be on the first floor. There is going to be a breaking pavilion. Myself will be there. A number of the SCN team members will be there. Basically I'll be there every day for a period of time each day. Like the card combine. Card combine? Yeah. What did I say though? It's a breaking pavilion. Yeah, Card combine. It's basically to educate people who have not been in breaks before. I believe there's. I think just a hobby though. It's not just breaks either. Like I think there's a lot of other stuff to it. Oh, is there? Yeah, I hope so. Yeah. I don't, I don't. I remember Jeremy explained it where it was a lot to do with breaking. So I didn't. Okay, maybe it was. I. I shouldn't have spoke that. So that all being the case though, that's on the first floor. Come and see me. Come hang out. Let's do photos. Do something other than that. Ryan Reynolds is going to be there now on Sunday. I went through this and it. They've updated some of the members like some of the athletes and some of the celebs that are going to be there. I show Speed was not on there because he was there last year, but now he is. So he'll be there on Thursday. So I saw that. But then I saw there were some people who are not going to be there. Let me see. I still have it pulled up. I kind of appreciated that they showed, like, oh, here's the people that were on the list that are no longer going to be there. So just so everybody knows Springsteen on the list yet? Freddie Freeman, Bianca Belair, Belair, Debo Samuel, chet Holmgren, Drew McIntyre, Isaiah Likely, Randy Orton, Ray Lewis, Blake Snell, Will Smith, Roberto Carlos. Those guys will not be there, but they've added a few. Lefko is going to be there. Okay. Stephen A. Smith will be there. There's a, there's a number of, you know, other talents We've already talked about a lot of the people that'll be there, and none of those have dropped off. All the biggest names are still there. I think Will Smith's probably the biggest one that's not going to be. But that Will Smith the Dodgers player or the actor. Oh, that's a good point. Yeah. I'm going to go in a limit. That's probably, I mean, because I thought he was on the celebrity list. I thought Will Smith was on there. And maybe, really maybe I just read the name and I didn't see the picture because I think someone should be allowed to walk up to Will Smith, the actor, and slap him in the face and not get charged. He did that to Chris Rock. I think he has some retribution. If you do that, you get to come on the pod. I think if you go up to Will Smith and say welcome to Irf and then you punch him in the face like he was an alien, I think, well, I don't know what you get for that, but it would be cool, content, not the worst idea. It'd be fun. I don't punch him, though. Don't, you know, don't violence. I said slap. Don't violence anybody. No Eye for an eye. Now, Mark Wahlberg is supposed to be there. You hear? He's. There's talk about him opening some shops. Please don't. We don't need more of these Hollywood people. Come and open up shops, I believe. Just stay away. Say your friggin burger could be happening. Oh, God. And, well, some. I don't remember who I was talking to about this. Oh, this wasn't like secret information. So just share it. Let's go with it from there. But it was like he's supposed to be opening up a series of shops and they're going to be attached to Wahl Burgers like his. He's going. He has the fast food Wahlburger thing. I. That's my understanding. There's supposed to be a connection of him joining Stay away. I'm good. I mean, the fact that he's at Fanatics Fest probably is another sign that that's probably the case. The guy lies about doing pull ups. I don't. I cannot trust him. What do you mean? I can do 40 pull ups. You did like six half shrugs or whatever. Please stay away from the hobby. No Wahlberger out. How many pull ups can you do? I can't do any right now. I gotta get my arm surgery. I'm Amri Friday though. Hopefully get my surgery in the next week or two. Oh, really? Same surgery as a couple years ago. Get a couple chips of bone taken out. Say surgery before the incident. How many pull ups could you do? Be honest. Full, whatever. Yeah, I'm saying full. I'm not talking the Wahlberg like half and half. I'm talking all the way hanging extension to the chin over the bar. Chin over the bar. Six. Okay. I could probably do 12 to 15 or little half Wahlbergers. Yeah, I'm not much of a. I don't know. I have short arms and I'm chubby. I've seen you do a number of athletic things. I bench pressed 225 for 18 reps today. I was pretty impressed with myself. And then a guy walked in and took the 125 pound dumbbells and freaking warmed up like he was moving paper. And I was like, you know what? I'm going to do my podcast. Listen, you don't have to be better than everybody. It's okay. And that was absolutely the case. So fair, I think. Where's Funko? Is he coming to town so I can outlift him? That's so funny you say that. He's going to come on hobby nonsense today. We're going to talk about Disney. You want to join? I would rather get hit by a truck. Leave it there. Just get hit. Yes, I will say I do think, and we're not going to talk about this because this has been a recurring thing on here for months and for a month now. The hobby's up, everything's up. It's fine. The only other thing I thought was weird about that is this is almost always the slowest time of the hobby. The lead up to the national summertime people are busy with their. It's even more impressive and weird to me now that we have so many unbelievable gains right now on stuff. And like again, this is the only card I'll reference. I'LL leave it alone because it's a dead subject. The Brady Chrome Yesterday sold for 31 and 32,000. In freaking sane. The Brady Chrome. Those cards are doing like 8 to 10 grand a year ago. Wait, what was the number? PSA 10 Chrome 2000 rookie raw 2000 rookie BSA 10. Oh, the 2000. Ridiculous. Yeah, everything Brady is through the roof. Although there is one little discrepancy. The spx and the sp authentic Brady rookies. I own both as a nine. Five one's the number to 1350, one's number to 1250. I think the spx. And they're both the same red uniform. Like the practice Jersey. Yeah. The SP authentic outsells at like almost three to one. I think one of them's like 25,000. One of them's like nine grand. It's very weird to me. There are these little glitches where I'm like, huh, it's weird. Well, it does show preference because that's one of the things we were going to talk about on the other pod where it's. It's. People are paying more for an out of 50 of some of the Disney parallels than the out of 25. It doesn't make sense to me. I don't get it. But it's like. It's a preference thing. They like the gold. I. Yeah, but that makes sense for those perverts. Like you're buying an elephant card out of Disney. I'm just saying with these, they're both Brady's, they're both upper deck cards. They're both numbered, they're both the same grade, almost the exact same image. White border cards featuring him in a red jersey makes no sense to me. You're just saying the parallel is different. Not even different. No, I'm saying the brand is one's spx, one's sp. Two different brands. But everything else about them. You could not find two more similar rookie cards of his numbered everything. So the same numbering. If there is one's outnumbered by 101, 1351's 1250. Okay, so there's a difference. So you're a liar. Okay, I didn't say there wasn't a difference. I'm saying there's. It's almost indetectable. And it's weird to me that there's that much of a difference on that card. What is the. Which one is the more expensive one, the SP or the spx? Let me pull it up and put card letter. Which one would have come later? That could also play a part of It. Yeah. I don't know. Something coming a month later, 26 years ago. No one remembers the fact that nobody remembers means. But you know how the market is. It's like if people determine that's the one, like you have to. Neither one of these. Right. Bowman Chrome is the one. That's his flagship. So neither one of these are. So the SPX is numbered to. To 1350. But just look at this again. I want you to actually see this. Yeah. Ooh. So you can see the card. It's numbered white. White border, red jersey. Good looking card. Yeah. 95 number to 1350. That card right now in my collection says the value is $9,600. This card is a little different. Sure. There's a hundred less of them. Again, I'm not saying there's no difference. It's a very similar looking card. White border, blue background, red jersey. That sells for 26,000 right now. That is weird to me. It's a big price difference for the fact that they are very similar. But they are still different. Sure. No one's arguing they're not different. Three to one difference on a card 26 years old. There's a limited. Brady Rookie. It's weird to me. One of two things will happen with one of those cards. I think one goes up or one goes down or what if. Stay away from. What if they stayed the same. There's a third option. You didn't count it for that. Stay the same. Also a very viable option. Yep. That's another one. I'm just going to tell you what I tell everyone I've been saying recently. I would just be very, very cautious what you're buying right now. Really? Absolutely. I think the same. I think about wax and breaks are very expensive right now. I think most of the singles are. Look at them. Look at the history on almost any of these cards. We're talking about crazy through the roof right now. The. The weirdest part about all this is win. Because I do think you're. I think you're absolutely right. I think most things are probably especially the goats. Especially like just the bigger players. I think everything is overpriced. Some is way overpriced. But we've also entered into a point in the hobby where we're seeing what we were hoping for five years ago, which is a greater acceptance in the community. Like not the hobbyists, but just the community of people at large, people who have disposable income. There are more people entering the hobby now than probably any other time. Maybe 20, 21. But I'd say even more than that. We maybe not faster than 20202021 but. But definitely more people I think have joined in this last. I agree this, this boom that we're experiencing over the last year. But with that being the case, you have that many more people there's going to be. Create more demand. Right. Because that means there's less cards to go around. Especially the rare ones. No question. Yeah. Just caution. I would just be cautious. Yeah. Like I've always had a card shows. If you see a card you like a fanatics or at the national like hey, I jump on it like buy it man. I. I almost am more. I would more. I would be more comfortable telling you trade into it if you have cards. Like I wouldn't buy a Brady out right. Right now almost no matter what. But what I would do is hey, this Brady's worth X. Okay. I will trade that into another braiding, add cash to it because at least then I'm getting. I'm not just paying out because I do. I just think at some point and I don't think it's happening next month but man, at some point it gets weird. I. Yeah. I guess my thinking is if it's. I think it's going to. I think it's going to correct. I don't think it's going to be a drop like a. What is it when it tanks a pop. I don't think the bubble's going to burst. I don't think it's something like that. I think there will be a correction. I think you're talking like 20 to 30, 20, 40%, something like that. Not like post Covid when you saw like 60, 80, 90%. Yeah, yeah, I agree. I don't think that easy. And yeah, I. I'm hoping that we are getting closer to it. And all I want is when I say closer to it, I hope we get to the point where it starts. I don't want it to be like oh, we're closer to it and then it just drops like tomorrow. That's what it is. I just want to see like a steady decline. Just like we've seen. If you look at like the on card ladder, you go to the indexes. Sure. You just look or a player index. I'm looking at Tom Brady's right now and you look over a year, there's no like huge spike up. It's basically just like a incline over the last year. Nothing where I'm like, oh well that's a huge spike you're gonna see Probably a pretty good decline. Pretty fast. None of that's happening. So I'm glad to see that. That's what I. And I'd be afraid if you saw something like that happen. I just went there to get you talking on the sport or non sports side? Both sides. I mean for the most part, yeah. I think if you looked at the three months of specific cards like these, the goats we're talking about, it's pretty dramatic. Okay, so when you're saying three months you would see probably bigger spikes. Right. A shorter time period. But if you look at that over a year. Okay, like go to. Can you show me one? Yeah, let me, let me, let me pull the Bowman Chrome because the card I referenced earlier. Let me just bring that card up. Oh, you want to look at this. I was looking at like the player overall. But yeah, I'm not saying there's not going to be prices that have spiked. I'm saying in general when you take a look at the either an index of WWE cards or a players index or something like that. Yes, they've all been trending upwards but nobody or there's not many. Just straight up spikes. I got you. I mean so Star wars is up 486% a year. That will probably see one piece is up 200. Make the argument 6%. Star wars was lagging behind some of the other. Not like it's been lagging behind Disney a lot too. But Disney is up 206%. Dragon Ball Z actually all your stuff is up away. The highest of sports is modern sports. That segment is up 115%. This is over a year. One year, yep. And here's the thing there, I love to see it. Do I think there's going to be a correction there? Yeah, I think if every player, the hobby in general has a correction, it'll be seen there too. But the thing that that doesn't show you is the fact of how much lower priced it was than everything else. Like those did not have any kind of real love for the majority of collectors out there. Now you're seeing sports guys buying into non sports. You're seeing the non sport movement spread. You're seeing actual marketing dollars going into pushing out. Hey, Disney Chrome is out. Let's get Tony Hale to come do a commercial for us about it. The fact that they mean Anthony. No, I don't know. I don't know who it is. So Tony Hill's forky and he's also on Arrested Development. He's a funny guy. Anyways, it doesn't matter, but the fact is they're putting money into it. So you are getting word out. And that's one of the. The reasons why it is boomed. But yes, I do think there will probably be a correction. Luke Skywalker up 708% a year. Dude, the Luke. Well, that's because of his rookie card. His rookie just took off. And once that took off, it's. It's one of those everything. Rising tides lifts all ships. Yeah. And then a bunch of people drowned. That's a. That's the rest of that. Nobody ever says that. Yeah. By the way, you said the sport that had been up the most was what modern is the highest in the index. I see. Oh, the mod. That's. So that would just be modern cards, not a specific sport. It looks like tennis is up over a year, 114%. So there you go. But you know, all of these. What all of those are. Are those smaller ones. It would be. It's a lot harder to lift. Mlb, NBA, NFL. Because it is already got a vast majority of collections. It takes more money to actually move. Yeah, Yeah. I don't. I don't disagree with that. So these are just. These are products and either sports or entertainment IPs. These are areas where there just have not been as many cards. Therefore, you get a number of people joining. Say you had a thousand people join the sports hobby and a thousand people join non. You're gonna see a way bigger impact. I also worry, though, because a few years ago when we saw this, those things are also so small, a couple people can manipulate it and go crazy. Yeah. So that's my other thing I always worry about, which I worry about with. Not on sports as a whole, because it's so much bigger. But you worry about with cards. Sure. Like individual cards in the sports side. Yeah. I'm like, man, this is. I just think you have to be aware, you have to be very cautious right now because the stakes are higher, because the price is higher. Like, it's not even a discussion. Like, everything is higher now whether it's artificial or not. I think more is artificial than is true. Collector just coming in. I think there's a lot of that. I think there's a lot of people who are also just like, man, we're buying up everything no matter what, and we're going to maintain this bulk, this burst, or this boom as much as we can. Yeah. Look at this too. I just want to show this because I think we should go ahead and have Brendan on here in just a second to talk about soccer. But looking at the soccer index over the last year. Look, I mean, okay, hang on. Definitely 85% a year. Give me this one in three months. So this one I. So that's what I was going to say. Anything like once you break it down to the smaller fragments of time, three months. It goes from that kind of pretty. Pretty smooth line in most cases to. You have these jagged jumps. Hang on. But overall, 9% there. In three months. In three months. Yeah. It was 85 in a year. Sure. And we have the World cup happening right now. I can justify that. Stuff's up under 10% with the World Cup. Sure. Stuff was up 85% before that. Why? Because the World Cup. Yeah, I. Sometimes when you ask a question like that, I'm just like. I get flustered because I'm like, of course. You know why? Because no one's waiting. Not at no one. But people don't wait to buy once it's happening. They plan ahead so they can try and make money for once. It you think people are planning ahead 10 months ago for this, the football season, People have known the World Cup. I bought my tickets for Fanatics Fest in September of last year. Well, that's for travel. I'm saying I knew at the time that. That the World cup was happening in New York. I knew for a fact that World cup card or any soccer card where you could have someone in the World cup is probably going to go up in value. That's what a lot of people were talking about last year. No one does any of the sport though, just to be clear. Maybe soccer people buy football in August and July right before the lead up. The World cup started not even a month ago. So I'm saying three months. Who out there disagrees with that? Because I bet you there's a lot of you who disagree with that who are buying way earlier. Maybe they're watching draft stuff, maybe they're watching college performances. They're probably people buying much sooner than what you are giving. Some will. No, nothing is absolute. But you see the biggest spikes every year for football, it's July and August. That's. I won't do that. So this is the opposite. The biggest spike was a year ago. Over the past year, not over the past three months. It's just different than every other sport. That's the. Tom. I think the fact is it was somewhere around that time because, I mean, honestly, I know the super bowl is coming in February, but that's what I mean, like there were people. The super bowl is. You can't determine. Like, you can't just go out and buy something because the super bowl is happening. And plus the fact that it's the World cup, which is less. It doesn't happen as often. It's a much more big of a deal, especially when you consider the worldwide audience. I think that there's a good reason for people buying in that much earlier. But I mean, the numbers don't. Don't lie. That's when the people bought in. The biggest spike was back then. Yeah, that's. I mean, again, you're correct. Like the numbers show. It's just funny. No other sport has that kind of a lead up. While I was sick, I went to Arena Club because I wanted to. I'm not gonna lie. I just wanted to take a chance and see if I could pull something big. I think I spent fifteen hundred dollars on Arena Club. And I'm not gonna lie to you. I think I have almost broken even. And I 100% would have broken even, actually. I'd be ahead if I hadn't accidentally hit the accept offer as opposed to the let me think about it or keep it button or whatever it is I do. I will say this. I reached out to them. I was like, I think there should be like a. Hey, are you sure? Because like, you have the, like, you just hit one button and it's like, all right, done. Yeah, transaction done. And I'm like, screwed the pooch. Yeah, I accidentally hit and I reached out to him. They're like, once you've done it, you can't undo it because there was a card that was. It wasn't even. This is, this is my, my plug for Arena Club. It does not apply to all sport, at least that I know of. I know for this non sport, the Disney, the magical packs, whatever they call them, they have so many cards in there that their, their pricing thing has not accounted for. The Disney market has exploded so quickly, like within a month or two, where you've seen some really big increases, that it's not accounting for it. So your offer isn't as good. But what that also means in real world, you can do better, you're saying? Yeah, what that also means is that card is probably not considered as like one of the grail hits, one of the big ones in there. So you're going to see some of those Disney 100 PSA 10s pop up more often and the value on them is crazy. Like, one of them was an offer. I think I got an offer for like 500 bucks, but it was actually Valued. The last one had sold, like, for 1500. And that's the one where I messed up. Like, I hit the button on. So had that not been the case? But that's where I'm saying, like, yes, I'm not encouraging anyone to spend fifteen hundred dollars, especially if they don't have it on anything. But in this case, I was like, okay, well, I want to take a chance and see if I can pull one of these cards. And what I found was, oh, this isn't, like just a chance anymore. Now what I'm seeing is a continual pattern of I could get some really good Disney cards in these packs, these magical packs for, I think, a decent price, just because of the fact that the pricing hasn't been completely updated. Unaccounted for value. If you guys have never used Arena Club, you can't go out there and use as the code, you'll save 10% on your first purchase. So is it 10 or is it 15? I feel like I always. I thought it was 20. Is it a thousand? Just put it in. By the way, Just to be clear, the reason. It was a spike in September for soccer. There was the huge award ceremony, and then the championship league returned. It starts at the beginning of September. Ah, there you go. Okay. So probably that more than guys buying for the World cup, maybe. I still think there's probably a World cup because it's weird that you would see it stay up because, I mean, yeah, there was like, a little correction, but it didn't. It never came back down after that. Like, it didn't. You have that chart still? Yeah. I think you saw the next climb about three or four months later. I mean, like I said, just pull up the chart. Let's see. Don't have to guess. That's fine. I am. I'm trying to pull it up. I knew there had to be something. There's no way people are going to watch guys kick a ball nine months and buy it nine months before an event. I think that's what you found that you think is the answer. I don't think that's necessarily the answer. Let's see here. It's coming. Just. Just be patient, folks. There you go. Soccer. There we go. Last year. There you go. So, yeah, so it came down from those highs. Like I said, there was a. Like I said, there was a slight correction, but if you see where it started at the beginning of that year, what is that? 7200. And it never got down below. What was the lowest point after that? Sure. Like 10,000. But I'm right. You're absolutely correct. I just think that's the reason for the big spike. Yet two major events happen, the championship league and the award ceremony. So let me ask you this, then. Where is, like, where do you think this bike is? For people that were buying into World Cup, I think, like almost every other sport, it's two months, two to three months ahead of time. So that didn't happen, though. Well, look at this. Look. Keep going, huh? Yeah. I mean, again, this happened, like, less than a month ago. There was a. There was a spike right here. Sure. But that was June 19th, where we're already well into it. I also. It's no spike. I'm fine with that. I don't know the soccer market at all. I'm just telling you, I've never seen a sport where a year ahead of time, people like, hey, I'm going to start loading up for an event. Okay. Just never. Yeah, well, maybe that's. That's again, missed opportunity. Brendan on Thursday can chime in and see what he says. I would be curious. No idea. Taking a long freaking lunch. I think I've got. Those are, like, all the stuff I had. That's. Anything else you want to fight about something else. Are we good? No. It's a contentious show and I enjoy it. Yeah. If you've got anything else, I'm happy to. I'd love to talk about it. No, I had some other positive notes, but there's been too much positivity. I'm good. Has there? Kill it. What is your positive note? I want to know. Chill. Share your positive note. No, no. Yes. About the hobby, too. And I gotta listen to you shill it up. Absolutely not. I'm good. How am I gonna shill it? You'll find a way. I'm done. I would love to know. Share it. We thank you. We're not even an hour in. Fine. Nice, quick show. We're easing you back into the schedule. You're just off the ir. I'm ready to go. Unlimited minutes. We're just easing you back in. Let down. We're not doing that. Redown. We did the other one instead. I was here for it. I was ready to do it. You know what? I will say something good and bad. We did the Friday night show on ebay, live. The Jimmy V. The v Foundation. So 25% off the top of my money went to the V Foundation, which is fine. I don't mind charitable donations. Oh, like the money you made? Every card you sell, 25%. You could set the amount, minimum 25%, which is great. Mm. I'm all about. I actually watch that speech two to three times a year. Anyway, so much so that Hannah hears it, and it's like, what again? Yes. I love the Jimmy V. Greatest speech in the history of mankind. Modern mankind. Sports mankind, not the Sermon on the Mount. I understand. Take it easy, folks. Yeah. However, MLK lovers out there listen to this. Yeah. I had a dream speech. I think Jimmy V's is pretty good. Double down. There we go. Jimmy V. Keep going. Great speech. There's at one point, he's like, I got a guy. I have tumors all over my body eating through my body. I got a guy back here flashing a red light, telling me to hurry up. It's great. It's excellent. You're right. It is a phenomenal. You got to watch. You've never seen it. Actually, I think I did watch it with you. I played all the time. Anyways, great event. Okay. If I could have a little bit of criticism for it. If we're gonna do these live events or these big events like that, we should make them later in the evenings. Oh, what time was it? One was from four to. Well, so Eastern time. One was five to six. One seller. I was six to seven. Somebody else was seven to eight. It's a little early. Also, it was Saturday, right. Or Friday. Also, somebody from the ebay live team is listening. I had a lot of complaints after the fact. People couldn't find the show. I had trouble finding the Black and Gold sports card show. Brian T. Who we met. I think you met. Yeah. You know, Brian. I had trouble finding his show. He was live right after me. I threw my people to him. Very difficult lately to navigate the ebay live homepage. People are saying, there's fans for sure. Yeah, I just. That is a major area. I think you've got to make it a little more easily navigate. Again, they're a huge sponsor. It's not. It's not like an outright criticism, but it does affect things, and I think it's difficult to find shows. Well, I think Friday in general is like. And this is a. Again, I'm not basing it off of hard stats, but in my mind, Friday is a harder day to sell on a lot of platforms just because I think a lot of people are going out, they're doing something on a Friday, probably more than most days. Maybe Saturday is the only other comparable day. But, like, at the end of the work week, it's tough. I was off. Tonight's live. As soon as that show ended. I went over there, killed it. Did you really? Yeah, murdered. So that's what I mean, what product were you doing? Topps Chrome Black football, which is very average. Tops finest baseball, which had released on Wednesday. Unreal. Best product of the year. Yeah. I also sold personals. Eddie had. Eddie's. A big Friday night's a big day for. It's not that the timing is tough. You've got to start focusing, I think, on later events when people are around. Because if it's 5 o' clock eastern, you're talking 2 o' clock on the west coast. On a Friday. Yeah, any day. When are people at 2 o'? Clock? I just. I would like to see that and then get just a little more of a focus on that. A little easier to navigate. I'm all for giving away some cash to raise money. How much did you guys raise? You know, a good question. We ESPN and the ESPYs donated a Joel Embiid jersey. I think that was a little bit of a shot at me because Philly just ripped my heart up with Jalen. Sure. I only sold for like 150 bucks. 150 bucks for a charity thing. And it was a autographed autograph. I wouldn't. 50 bucks for Joel Embiid. Okay. But I mean, we probably sold close to ten grand, so a couple thousand bucks. Nice. But it was also just a very slow night. Like it was. Yeah, it was tough. So. Well, like you said, it's that time of period time where especially. Especially where this is the first time we're seeing Fanatics Fest and the national so close together. That's a. I. I wonder if we're seeing even more of a slowdown. Possibly. I just think timing is very important and I am all about being in on these events. I want to do more of them. Happy to help, but I think we have to focus on evenings when people are home. That's all. There you go. That's fine. Fair enough. Adam Iron's gonna text me now. Hey, canceled. That's okay. I understand the. I'm an Adam guy. We actually have extended the ebay live shows from. We were going to end it actually this last. Last Sunday was going to be the last one, but because I was sick, we have now pushed it in. All shows are going to be. We're doing three more shows with Funko cards. I'll continue to do ebay live shows too, but Funko will specifically have three more shows, which is all. When I say that, if you're not familiar, what does that mean? Funko cards. It's Disney, it's Star wars, it's Rocky, it's every non sport. A lot of. There's some Stallone Rocky. Oh yeah. Really? Yeah, yeah. I mean like it's the tops ones from like the 80s and 90s, but he's. He literally. There's so many cards where it's like, all right, pop one, pop two. And he's got the only pop one or pop two of a card where it's a PSA 10. So that's where it's kind of cool. Very cool. Funko, by the way, came in and bought a box of Inception football. We gave 100% of that one away. Chris Keller. He don't want me to say his name, but I don't really care. Chris. Suck it. Chris Keller sent like a thousand or fifteen hundred worth of stuff. I was like, I want you to sell this anonymously. Sell it at 100%. Which I kept 80% of that, obviously. Did you really? Yeah, no, actually I will give ebay credit for that. To do the charity thing super easy, you literally just like click the toggle, select the approved charity, which we found. I was on there. Oh. And then the fee on each item you want to sell. So for Chris's, we gave away 100%. It was pretty incredible though. Chris, top shelf breaks up in Chicago. Ishelf cards. Let me see what's on my head. Yeah, I was gonna say check. You have some sort of memorabilia over there from him. What's that? What's my top shelf? Sports cards. Elgin. She knows. Excuse me. Elgin, Illinois. It was extremely kind. I believe Chris had lost his mom to cancer. He was like. He reached out to me totally out of the blue the day before and overnighted something to us. Oh, that's cool. I'll tell you this, Chris. You ever have somebody deliver something to my house at 6 o' clock in the morning and wake up my kid again, I'll fly to Elgin and slap you. Was it just a guy in a dude UPS showed up, literally just threw the package and walked just enough to get the dogs barking. It was like 6:30. Theo never sleeps that late. You gotta be kidding me. What is the deal with UPS? Do you not get normal delivery package at 6 in the morning? No. Why do you think that? That's a weird. I think Chris was like, hey, make it happen. I'll just make it, get there early. Could have been. Maybe Chris was just. Next time don't send anything. Yeah, honestly, V Foundation's fine without you. It's not True. Chris is doing it was a very kind gesture. Very generous person as well. Funkle bought a box. I didn't that either kept it. But it was his donation to me. It was nice. That's a really. See, this is called humor, folks. You can have a little bit enjoy it. Careful. He do we know it's humor. Let's check tape. Go back and check all your things. Are you throwing up? What just happened there? I had a little. I just drink some water. Didn't clear my throat. I didn't see you drink water. I've been watching the cup the whole time. You didn't see me this? Nope. And I didn't hear it because you always hear those fat smackers. I've been doing this the whole time. If you haven't heard it, then that means I'm not. Hey, Brendan, go back and check Frank. He will be. He's gonna hear the recording. I'd like to know the last time Jesse took a sip before said that. There you go. Let him know I don't think the water. Please let him know I think you're lying. What time is it on the up a hairball 1:09 Central Time. 1:02. That's enough. That's your show. We're back on Thursday. Oh, you will be back. Solo, I believe. Going to fax and maybe from the new studio. Maybe Wednesday night. Maybe new studio, maybe whatever. Cool. I'd love to do it from the new studio. Okay, just relax. That's it. We'll be back sometime this week. That's all we have to say goodbye. Okay?
