Suddenly the energy kicks back in, the night goes longer and the laughs don't stop because Pepsi brings out more flavor, more fun and more of the moment. Food deserves Pepsi. Grab a Pepsi. Zero sugar today. 30 years of Pokemon. We need to talk about it. Welcome back to the Packfish podcast where we talk about all things Pokemon, TCG and give you a little peek behind the curtain of what it's like to be a seller in this crazy, crazy hobby. And we have the 30th celebration set coming out very, very soon. Let's talk about everything we know so far and there's even some controversy already. There's already, we'll get to it. There's an elephant in the room. There's a lot going on. We got a lot to cover. We're going to go over everything we know so far. The cards we know, the products, the release dates, the classic collection, the futuristic rares and what you should, what you should buy. What, what are we thinking? What are we, what do we think about all this coming out? We've heard a lot of rumors about the print runs. We've heard a lot of rumors about accessibility and what's going to happen. Know we'll kind of get into it and, and see where we go. Yu-Gi-Oh well, I think we should. Before we get too far into the 30th, I kind of want to take us back a little bit and talk just briefly about the other celebration sets and the other anniversary sets that we've gotten in the past. Starting with the 20th anniversary. That was the first set that we got that was truly a anniversary set. And that's generations. It, it celebrated a whole lot. We, we got some insane products out of it. Some of the coolest promos that we've ever gotten in the hobby. I don't think they've even been topped to the to today. It's, it's aged extremely well. I love it. It's one of my all time favorite sets. If not my favorite set, then after that we got the 25th anniversary celebrations. I think celebrations is kind of a, you either love it or hate it. The more people talk about it, I either hear people saying how much they enjoy it or nostalgia and stuff like that. And then you get a lot of people who are on this other side that don't like it at all. I remember when it was released, a lot of people didn't really Enjoy it. It was everywhere. And it has a big old stamp on it that people seem to have a big problem with. And the cool thing with Celebrations, it was the first time we got the Classic Collection in a set. And this is reprints of fan favorite cards or just cards that were important to the TCG throughout the years. They have new holofoils and. And of course, the stamp on there. That's where it kind of ended. There was a few unique cards in celebrations. However, the 30th took that concept and really, really expanded on it. And it's. The 30th has really become, I think, combination of generations and celebrations. And then we've also just blown the doors off. Yu-Gi-Oh it's. I. For me, Celebrations. It really lived in the Classic Collection portion of it, for sure. 25 cards they came out with that were exclusive to the set. They're all right. You know, it's a. It's. It's a cool set. It's a fun set to rip. But the Classic Collection really, really carried the 25th. Interesting to see how they've kind of developed this. Right. 2016 generations. No real rhyme or reason to the set. They have the subset built in. You know, the red and blue collection boxes, like a little bit of nostalgia built into it. And then the 25th anniversary comes out, and they tie it more to, okay, here's 25 new cards, 25 reprints, keeping with the 25 theme. And now kind of similarly doing that with the 30th, with the 30 Pikachus, the. The 30 classic collection set. So it's interesting. See how they're kind of developing this pattern and. And coming out with what they're going to probably keep doing every five years now. So if they call this Celebrations, I feel like they're just gonna kind of stick with that every five years now. It seems like that's kind of what they're gonna go with. And it's. It's gonna be a banger here. It's gonna be a crazy day. And what is that day? September 16, 2020 worldwide. First time they've ever done that. Yu-Gi-Oh All sets coming out in every language. Cool. I'm excited. I am, too. Very excited. Real quick to note that September 16th is a Wednesday where most release dates are on a Friday for Pokemon. So why did they do that? I don't know. Yu-Gi-Oh hold on. Maybe just because it worked, because time zones and stuff, it probably falls on a Friday in some time zone somewhere. Technically, I have no idea. I'm not sure either. I wanted to look it up because obviously Pokemon came out 30 years ago in Japan in 1996. It was February 27, was the original release date of that. So wanted to double check and just make sure they weren't trying to like tie something in. But I feel like it has something to do with the time zones with it being the next day in part of the world when it's Wednesday here. You know, it's Thursday already over there and. Yu-Gi-Oh you know, just logistics. I would think it has something to do with that. Well, let's. Let's break down the product. Yu-Gi-Oh it's a very, very interesting pack. It's similar in a sense to Celebrations. The smaller pack, Right. You only get six cards. They're all going to be foil. So every card is going to be a hollow. You get five TCG cards and then one Energy, all of its foil. And then one of those five cards is guaranteed to be a Pikachu. But it's not going to be the same Pikachu. There's 30 different Pikachu. They had 30 different artists come in and do their own rendition on Pikachu. There's a special holo foil on those Pikachu. It kind of gives me like legendary collection firework vibes a little bit. It's like a light version of that. I think the Pikachus are incredible. I can't wait to. To see what those all look like and just collect them all. I think that's going to be a really fun chase. And just like seeing all of the different artists that have such distinct styles do their own versions of Pikachu is awesome. Yu-Gi-Oh And I have some favorites. There is some absolutely awesome looking. There's some heaters. 30. Cannot wait to get into that. That is going to be. That'll be a fun, like just little side project collecting 30 Pikachus, 1 per pack. Obviously there's going to be so many packs. You know, I wonder if a couple of these will be short printed or if they're equally printed across the board just right. But like 1 in 30 is like, it's not an easy poll to hit like the ones that you want. Right. I mean, if you're ripping a lot of the product. Yu-Gi-Oh I'm sure you'll get there. But it's cool. It's a really cool concept. And I don't think that the. There'll probably be a few fan favorites that get kind of expensive, but I don't think they're going to be too terribly expensive on their own, especially on release. Right. Yu-Gi-Oh Something, you know, you get all 30 of them and in five years from now, this is a great kind of investment because they're only two to ten bucks a piece right now on release. And then, you know, five years from now in a PSA 10 set, who knows? Like. Right. Yu-Gi-Oh it might be. That might be something to keep an Yu-Gi-Oh on, actually. And then what do we got? We got the classic collection returns 30 classic Pokemon pulled from different eras all the way up until Scarlet and Violet. Yu-Gi-Oh With the Magikarp being printed in there. Yep. I really like the Magikarp with the gold border. It looks really cool. I think the first leaks that came out with the gold border, I think some people kind of thought it looked like glitter. I was like, oh, let's, let's see. You know, when, when we actually get these like in hand and like, people start pulling them and, and of course, you know, we'll get into it. But some product got leaked and I think the gold border looks amazing. Doesn't look great on every single card. Of course. It, you know, the gold will clash with some stuff. But that Magikarp looks phenomenal. Yu-Gi-Oh I like it a lot. And they're not going to be tournament legal reprints. They're just collectibles, which is nice for the collectors. Yep. You get all these cards, they don't have to worry about trying to change something for playability in today's tournament world. You're just able to collect these cards that are, some of them very hard to pull in today's world. Like, you know, all the way back to the Lugia, but. Yu-Gi-Oh exactly. Brutal to pull that. Brutal to pull it. And I mean, the cooper boxes are 200k almost now. So it's like, you know, the chances of any, you know, one of us getting an opportunity to just rip Aquapolis, but then on top of that, hit the crystal. Lugia is so difficult. So it's cool, you know, having an opportunity to get that in your Pandora And I do like that there is a distinguishing feature for these. Obviously there's a stamp, but you have that gold border and it separates it. It doesn't. I don't. My opinion, it doesn't diminish the original version either. I would agree with you. I would agree with you. Do you think when they're doing these reprints, you know, obviously they're. They're bringing the Lugia in, Do you think they should be putting gold stars or crystals like these very like, rare, hard to pull cards. You think they should be reprinting them? You Think that diminishes from the original cards or do you think it supports by creating these as like also expensive cards? Like we've seen what has happened with the Charizard out of celebrations. Right. It's just a reprint 25th anniversary stamp on it, a little bit of a different texture. Yep. Still holds good value just for, you know, being a Charizard. What do you, what do you think about that? I think it almost for some of these cards and I'll give you an example of one from the 30th in a second. I think for some of these cards it sheds a light on cards that maybe newer collectors don't even know about. Right. These, some of these older chases that, you know, I mean, I think a lot of these people who come into the hobby and have only been in the hobby for say a year, they focus so much on Scarlet and Violet and Mega Evolution. And there's a lot of cards and a lot of information and you know, not everybody's sitting here studying and going back in all these old sets. So I think it's a really cool opportunity for Pokemon to share a lot of their Heritage. And the example I'd love to bring up is the Gengar prime. Right. Like Heartgold Soul Silver is one of my personal favorite eras because I think it's so unique. And them bringing the Gengar prime, which is such a great card, there's so many people who had probably never seen that card before is it's not the most popular era of some of the, you know, mid era vintage and stuff like that. So it's really cool to see that. Or like another example, same set triumphant, the dark rye Cresselia Legend. You have both halves in the classic collection this year. It's my personal favorite dark rye card of all time. I think it is stunning and again it's just people probably didn't get to see that card a whole lot. If you're newer into collecting or even if you collected long time ago, you totally forgot about it and you're like, oh my God, that card is so sick. And now I have an opportunity to get it. So I, I, I think it's, if anything it helps the original version. I could see that the perfect lunch combo. That first bite of your favorite sub followed by ice cold Pepsi. Add a couple of friends and now that's next level. Suddenly the laughs get louder, the stories keep flowing and the food tastes better because Pepsi brings out more flavor, more fun and more of the moment. Food deserves Pepsi. Grab a Pepsi. I could see it being supportive. I also, you know, it makes collectors be able to get into the card if they appreciate like that specific card or some of these grails at a much lower price point and they can collect that and add that and I think that there will just be residual value. Even like with the Mew Gold Star being reprinted in celebrations 25th, it's still sought after. Obviously it's not even near what the original is, but it has value. Yu-Gi-Oh Which is one of probably that might be one of the hardest ones to pull out of most of the gold stars. So from what we've seen anyways, or the fact that the packs can be like searched easier and harder to pull out of something like that, you know, get into kind of a new add on here. These futuristic rares, you know, Yoshi wrote and working on creating these, you know, the. The ones that we've seen so far, it's the MEW and the Mewtwo and then we've. And then the Pikachu's as well. And the Pikachu's. How do you. How do you feel what do you think so far when you've seen these? I continually go back and forth on them. I know how you feel about them, but I think especially the Mewtwo and the, the purple Pikachu I think look really cool. And there was one polled recently and seeing it with the texture and everything, it looks really nice. The MEW is not my favorite. I. I think again with texture and stuff, I think it'll probably help it a little bit. But I think they're cool. Right? Like they're. They're so different than anything we've really seen before. Would it be my choice for like the ultimate chase for this set? Not necessarily, but I. I do think that they are cool. I think they're cooler than the golds that we have right now in the current sets. Yu-Gi-Oh I. From what I've seen from like packs that have already been leaked and opened. I, I like the MEWTWO better than the mew. MEW was definitely a choice, in my opinion, for how they have it, how it looks. But I do agree in person, they will probably look pretty sick the way that they're designed. I just, Yu-Gi-Oh not my biggest, I'm not the biggest fan. I think the experience pulling those, like, they definitely look special. Right. Like, I think the experience pulling those, you're going to have a, like, they definitely have, like, the Yu-Gi-Oh factor of, like, oh, this, this feels like a special card. Right? Like, it doesn't. It has that little extra, which, you know, I can appreciate. It's just numbered. Like a normal secret. It looks like, with. Yu-Gi-Oh Maybe like a different rarity symbol at the bottom. Yu-Gi-Oh Stars. So interesting to see this along with what we just kind of seen the other day, which is more of a. Is it real or is it not? You know, this is crazy. I, I, I'm gonna be honest. This is like, I, for those of you who have not seen what has happened in the last couple of weeks here where we were, we've been about two weeks or two months before release, there's been some products leaking. Some people are getting it early, some people are ripping it. And there was a Whatnot seller in Australia that got a whole bunch of, I think, Pandora collections, and they ripped a whole bunch of it live. It's really like, the first confirmed examples of a lot of these cards that we got to see. And they opened one, and there's a card that wasn't leaked yet. It wasn't in any of the ETB booklets that we saw that were, that were leaked. And it is this blue and green mew, and it looks crazy. It looks like no other Pokemon card than that we've ever seen before. I immediately thought it was fake, but then it kind of. I don't know. I don't know either. No 30th logo. Right. No traditional set number. Instead, you get the rgb. Yu-Gi-Oh it says the rgb. Yu-Gi-Oh So obviously being the blue of the RGB would be insinuating that there's three cards. Of course, you know, I don't know. It looks fake because of that. You have no conventional, like, collection number. You don't have the 30th stamp. You haven't seen it in the leak checklist. It's a Zebra unusual foil pattern. It just, it doesn't look like anything that we've ever seen. Like, it does. It doesn't look polished to me. Like, like Pokemon Cards are. But then things start to get weird when you kind of people have been digging into it. Right. Like, first of all, it was open live out of a pack. All the other cards were there. Initially people thought there wasn't a Pikachu because, like, the. The clip cut off, but I guess there was one. And like, the expansion code looks like it's correct. They're like. Looks like there's copyright. There's no good real pictures of it. The mew on it is like a mew design kind of that we've seen before. And then the artist that's credited is Yoshi Rotten, who is the guy who did the futuristic rares. So that's interesting. But then it gets even weirder because then the Internet did its thing. People did some digging, and years ago, Yoshi Rotten did a art project. It was called Phenomenon rgb. The things kind of start stacking up and stacking up and I don't know, it's. Yu-Gi-Oh I mean, the Pokemon Japanese website shows the futuristic rares, the day and night cards, the 30 Pikachus, the 30 reprint historic cards. And then it says, coming soon. Pokemon has an entire feature of 30th celebration. It hasn't revealed yet. It's possible. I mean, it's. It's definitely possible. It. As far as fake cards go, this is better than most or like fan art or Yu-Gi-Oh or whatever, you know. Right. This is closer. It credits a real Pokemon artist. It is designed similar to what a real Pokemon card would look like, minus, you know, the extreme color and the extreme, like, differences. Right, right. If this becomes a bigger debate, obviously, or becomes a real card in the set, I mean, I could see it makes sense, right? It makes like everything would click together. His work with the RGB back in the day, re bringing that out. It's a new rarity, I'd put it today. We're filming this August 12th. I'd say it's like 70% real, 30% fake. Kind of on that same vibe we were talking about on stream a whole lot the other day. Yu-Gi-Oh there was a few people in stream who I guess were watching the live stream when it got pulled. And they were like, adamant that it was real. And I was just like, I. I don't know. I like, it just feels so weird. Like there's just like. There's just some just weird, like, things missing for me. But then, like, you hear all this stuff and it's like kind of makes sense. I'm pretty good usually about like, telling what cards are fake and what aren't like, people on stream always will come in and be like, Yu-Gi-Oh did you see the new Rayquaza card? And like, that was like, for months leading up to the. Requires a step. And, like, it sent me a link. I'm like, bro, this is so fake. What are we doing? Like, you know, but this. I don't know for this to be. If this does turn out to be fake. It is. Somebody put a ton of work into this. Yu-Gi-Oh And then even like, all the way down to, like, placing it into a rip. And. Yu-Gi-Oh like, I mean, like, you'd have to place it into a rip in Australia where it's already far away from, like, where you would normally get the product. And like, there's just so many layers to this that it's just like, it. I don't know. It's crazy. I also don't know. We'll see. We're only a few weeks away from finding out the truth. And if Pokemon intentionally created an unlisted MEW as a Tribute to, like, the original mystery surrounding mew, it's awesome. It's a. That card is going to be amazing. Like a hidden subset. I mean, I mean, it's sweet, right? Like, in a long time. They haven't done subsets in forever. So. Yu-Gi-Oh And then it's like, kind of makes me sad if. If that is the case. It makes me sad that it got pulled for the first time so far in an in advance. Like in a random leaked rip. Right. Like, it would have been so cool if, like, all of it got held until release and then first person polls that and it's just like, oh, my God, there's something else. Right? Like, I mean, it was like when, you know, when MEW came out in the games, Right. It's like, wait, there's another one. Really cool. Yu-Gi-Oh I mean, this whole futuristic and then the RGB possible subset. It's. I mean, it's cool to see, you know, Pokemon taking kind of initiative instead of just like, oh, here's another reprinted Charizard, Right? Yu-Gi-Oh Which is there. It's in there, but it's just not. It's not just that they're adding more to it, which is nice. So, you know, what do you think about the. The confirmed futuristic rares in the MEW and mewtwo? You think that they're going to continue to create cards like this, or it's a one off for this set? I kind of feel like they're going to be a one off for this set. They've been doing that a Little bit recently with some stuff. I feel like these are a one off and I feel like they probably deserve to be a one off and just keep them special in the set and then you know, spin off and do something similar maybe in the future. But I think keep it to these I think would be the right call. I don't think that's like Pokemon, I think. No, but you know, it's futuristic. They're going to do some morphe. I mean they got just the three, you know they're going to do. I would say they do at least three to nine more maybe, you know, we'll see. We'll find out. You know, we will find out. Well, that's kind of the card list, right? Let's talk about the products. September 16th in the US we are getting the ETBs, the Pokemon Center ETBs, the poster collections, Tech sticker collection, Sylvian and Greninja Ex boxes, two pack blisters and the knockout collection all in one. It's a lot of stuff, but there's still so much more to go. There is this is a. It's kind of going to be like send it here where they really just kind of drag the release out, which was expected because the UPCs were not going to come out on the same day. But they're making many more products that will be spread across which we'll get into the other ones here, original release date, key product ETB in the etb, nine booster box Nidorina promo and then all the other goodies that we're used to. Two additional packs with the Pokemon center stamp in the Pokemon center version. So between all the product releases coming out on the 16th, that's going to be your way to get the most packs at that time. Which Pokemon Center ETB is well sold out. You're not going to be able to get one of those unless you've already got it pre ordered. So you got the regular ETB nine packs. Everything else three packs, three packs, two packs, four packs. It's nothing's like printed with a high amount of packs off the rip. 2 to 4 packs in all the other SKUs 9 to 11 depending on your type of Pokemon ETB wave 2, you get the Pandora collections. October 6th, you get the Beckett Pandora and the 5 booster box and then you get the booster bundles. Obviously I think the booster bundles are going to be great. Six packs. That's going to be no promo, no accessories, just six packs, all rip. Obviously they didn't make 30th or 25th anniversary booster bundles. So this is going to be new to the Celebration lineup, and I cannot wait. One thing they got rid of from the 25th through the 30th is a lot of the products that they made contained other packs from the set. And it's like this is literally only just this. Just I think partially why they did that is Celebrations was such a small set, whereas this is a. Like a very, very fully fleshed out set. I mean, it's bigger than half the sets that we got the last three releases. I agree with that. It is. It is a big set. So October 2nd, we're getting binders, bundles. Yep. Mini tins. Yep. I can't wait. That's gonna be. That'll be a big influx in packs for everybody to be able to rip. That's going to be a good one. But then. Then we get into November 6th, and this is absolutely crazy. You got the Ditto Premium Collection. I mean, Yu-Gi-Oh right? It's a banger. It's a banger card in there. It is eight packs. But the real release of the year, I think this is going to be the release of the year. Thanks. So too the 30th celebration UPC. Day and night. Two different UPCs. Oh, my God. It's going to be unreal. It's crazy. 30 packs. 30 packs in there. This is essentially our booster box, but it's 29 regular packs and one classic collection booster pack. Yep. The only few. Yep. Go ahead. I'll let you say the only way that you can get the Classic Collection pack, you get one class collection pack, which I. I believe has three Classic Collection cards in there. It could be one, could be three. I can't remember off the top of my head, but that's really cool. It's the only way that you can get a guaranteed Classic Collection card. So that's pretty neat. They've never done that. The closest thing that we've seen of that before was in Japanese. The 25th had classic collection packs. There was one card in there. They were really cool. But the big thing for me out of this, aside from all the packs, is this. The. Both these UPCs, you get two incredible promos. With the. The day version, you get a Pikachu EX, futuristic rare, and an Espeon EX, which is stunning. And then on the 9th, you get a Pikachu EX, futuristic rare, AND an Umbreon EX, which is absolutely incredible. It is an unbelievable card. There's so many cameos of all these other Pokemon on both the Espeon and the, Umbreon. But it is. They're phenomenal. Some of the best promos we've had in a very, very long time, in my opinion. Agree. I just. I can't get over 30 packs. It's a ton. Crazy 30 packs. It's a huge value. I mean, these. I hate to say it, but these UPCs are going to be insanely expensive. Just I. MSRP will be wild if you can find these in the wild for MSRP. Yu-Gi-Oh you're crushing it because I would say four to six hundred dollars minimum for 30 packs. There's no way. Plus those promos are going to be probably $100 each. I wouldn't. I wouldn't be surprised. I mean, you have to buy a full case just to be able to rip one of each and keep one of each sealed. If they do the normal case size of four per case. Right. That's. I mean, their Pokemon is like deliberately making a sealed collector's item in this. It's going to be. Yu-Gi-Oh Crazy. Absolutely crazy. And then also on November 6, we have the Mew and Mewtwo figure collections. Figure collections. Usually pretty bulky. I mean, we've had the Pikachu figure collection that was tied to the 25th. So now getting these as well with, you know, it's five packs in there, I think, plus the little figure. I just. I don't know. Not a big fan of those. Usually very bulky. It's. I mean, it's cool, but it's like. I don't know. I don't know. So what are you buying? What's going to be the best opportunity for us, you know, to pick up ETB Classic. I mean, that's a classic collector's item. ETPs good. ETB is really good in this product. I mean, the promo is great. You get a decent amount of packs. It's going to be hard to beat that. I think the booster bundle is nice just for pure ripping. And what is really great about this set, in my opinion, is there's so much to chase. Right. You have all the Pikachu's. The Chase. You have the whole class collection. The Chase. We haven't even really talked about the Illustration Rare in the S. Yu-Gi-Oh Which is awesome. A loaded set list, like over insane from what they've changed from the 25th to the 30th. It's absolutely like completely different. The. The Sir. Oh my gosh. That Gengar and the Pikachu. The perfect lunch combo. That first bite of your favorite sub followed by ice cold Pepsi. Add a couple of friends. And now that's next level. The mew is spectacular. It. I mean we go on, we probably have a whole nother episode just talking about the actual set itself. Cards, right? Unreal. This is gonna be. This set is definitely. They've been gearing up for this all year. Yu-Gi-Oh printing it all year. I mean the last three sets, kind of lackluster, very small sets, you know, still, still putting out what they had to put out. But this is going to be absolutely crazy. Which this year for Pokemon and subsets is. It's going to be so hard to top ascended heroes. And now the 30th for the second one is. Yu-Gi-Oh I don't, I don't know. I don't know where we go. Where do we go from? I don't even know what gets better than that. Like we'll see. I mean, we'll see what they do next. But that is, you know, you're getting a shrouded fable, you know, and then a 151 or something. You know, they're mixing it up, right? Something like that. For your two. This is crazy. Ascended heroes followed by the 30th is. And what they've done to the 30th is absolutely insane. Insane. So how do you think. So I have a question. Typically the releases are spaced out, right? You have Japanese usually a month ahead of time, then the English. What do you think that does for the market for everybody with all the languages releasing on the same day? I think it's going to be madness. It's. It'll be great because you're going to be able to rip everything. But if it all releases on the same day, you're not even going to be able. Like it one-of-one even be in America for at least two Days then till Friday, more than likely for Japanese products. For Japanese, right. Yu-Gi-Oh Because it's usually two day shipping to get to the United States. Right. So if they get it a little bit early, if somebody ships it over here a little bit early, maybe you get it on release day, a day later Thursday. I, I don't know. It's. And it's interesting too. Like normally, you know, Japanese ends up being a fair amount more affordable than English. But with this being the same release window, I mean Japanese products have been crazy expensive on release lately and then they, you know, taper off from there. I just like everybody was going to want to rip this set in every region. Yu-Gi-Oh So it's like, it's just, I don't know, it's going to be crazy. I think, I think they've been printing this for a while and I think they've been preparing to have as much product available as possible. I just like, I hate to say it, I just don't think that there is any amount that is enough to feed the demand. No. Even though they've short printed every other set this year and just been printing and printing and printing this, it's just there, there will not be enough. Everybody's going to want this set. They've made it too attractive of a set for collectors and every other like, obviously this is going to be a Zebra well perceived, streamable set. Right. This is going to be, Everyone is going to want this. Everyone will want this. The high end cards, the master set of this product. It's Unreal, unreal. The biggest thing is we're in such a hype market as well. Whereas Celebrations was kind of the end, the taper down in the 25th for, you know, the last market really went outside of the 30th. We had the, the last couple releases and then we got into Scarlet Violet. The market was at the lowest point of the last, you know, seven, eight years at that point. So now we're at the highest point. We've seen a little bit of a taper off with the market in the last like month or two. You know, it's speculative. Some people are saying that people are just waiting for the 30th to come out. Could very well be. You know, I think it's a, I think it's a combination of things, to be honest. Yu-Gi-Oh We one-of-one know until it happens, obviously. Yu-Gi-Oh With that said, are you pre ordering this at the crazy prices that they're at? I don't know. I, I can't believe that this set Breaks all rules and that it doesn't drop on release day. Right. Has to. There's no way that these crazy prices. It's too expensive. I mean, packs were going for like a hundred dollars. Yu-Gi-Oh I mean there's no way it sticks to that. I think, I think $20 a pack is probably where you'll see market sit on release day. That's my best guess. Yu-Gi-Oh I could see that too. It's, you know, maybe dipping down into the 14:15 range for a little bit after like the entire influx of everywhere gets it. Yu-Gi-Oh maybe. Maybe going down that low and then, and then popping back up, you know, as it dries up. But this is going to be. The cards values are going to be astronomical on this. They are. They're too good. I mean like it, like legitimately there is more to chase in this set than there was in Ascended Heroes even. Yu-Gi-Oh well. And you're guaranteed a Pikachu, right? Like, what do we think the worst Pikachu of the 30 does? Three bucks. Yu-Gi-Oh Right. You're guaranteed a minimum of $3. And what does the best one do? 15 to 20, like packs paid for, you know, like what you're, you're automatically money back on the Pikachu card, depending, you know what it is. I just, I don't know how that looks. 30 cards, probably the top five pay for the pack. You know, I. It's. It's so speculative. I just, I don't know where it's. No, he. It could go so many different ways. Man. Some of those Pikachus are so sick. They are really good. It's, you know, I don't, I just don't see the Pikachu dropping down from like 1, 1 to $5. Like maybe, I don't know, maybe some of them. There's going to be a lot. Obviously. I see those, right. Like some of the, like le. Like less favorable ones being between. I'm saying, like I don't see the whole subset dropping. You're not buying every card in there for one to five dollars. If you are, I'm going to buy a thousand complete sets because there's no way over time that it's like that. If you could buy every single card for. If you could buy the entire subset for 150 bucks, I will buy a thousand subsets and keep them and grade all of them and hold them for five years. That would be the greatest investment of all time. No way. No way. We'll see. Hold me to it. If you're watching this and you see the Most expensive card in the subset Tribute to $5. I'll. I'll make a video of me collecting a thousand sets. Absolutely. I just, I don't see it. It's. And that's not even like the chases. We have so many like actual chases in the set that are. It's going to be just insane. I will say, watching these be ripped early. The hit rates, they're not that great. They're not great. It's tough to pull some of the bigger cards. Some of the Sirs, like you're watching just hundreds of packs get shredded. I think they made the Sirs the same hit rates that they've been making them. Like. I don't think they made them any easier to hit, which is wild. And, you know they're going to just print this to the moon. Yu-Gi-Oh it is. It's going to be printed like Prismatic Evolutions. Just like. I think, you know, you see better hit rates in ascended because they didn't print as much of it as they did ascended. Like they've reprinted ascended right so many times or prismatic so many times and they did it on purpose because it's so hard to hit. I think they're going to do the same with this. I think they're going to just print this. I mean, look at how much generations and look at how much Celebrations is still ripped in today's market like it is. It's hard to find enough to keep it in stock. So I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Crazy. There's, it's, you know, staggered release. I think on the second drop, you're going to have a better shot of getting product than the first drop, the last drop with the biggest premium products. That's they're going to be gone off the shelves. There's no way. Yu-Gi-Oh two full months of releases, potentially more supply reprinted after that. It's. I mean, Pokemon wants to sell cards. That's, you know, that's what they do. That's how they make money. So, Yu-Gi-Oh they didn't design 15 different products because they only wanted to print them at once. They're staggering it. It's very, you know, it'll dry up. Here's some more product. It'll dry up. Here's some more product then reprints. Here's some more of these. You know, let's get into some predictions. What do you think's going to be the most expensive single card in the set? Let's put them on record, you know, six months from now, outside of the could be real, could not be real Mew. Because if it is real, I think that is going to be astronomical. Outside of that, I don't think the futuristic rares are going to be as popular as people think. I. My prediction is that the Chase that everybody actually wants is going to be the MEW S. That is my. That is my pick for the top card. The banger. I mean, it definitely is. I really like the Gengar. The Gengar is incredible. I just. We've just had. We've had Gengar in ascended. We had two Pikachus in the Sender. We have two more Pikachus in this one for Sirs. Obviously, those are going to be popular. Obviously, they're going to be expensive. Any of those could be the top chase. Pikachu. Sirs are. They're banging. That MEW is. It's so good. The Muse. Incredible. So good. I just. Man, I don't know. I. It could very well be the Mew. It could be one of the reprinted cards. I think the Mew tops it. I don't think that the reprinted Sir's top classic collection in this one. Yu-Gi-Oh I. I would actually agree with you. It's. Man, it is so good. There's going to be so much value. Yu-Gi-Oh And PSA is going to be close to great at all. What is going to happen? What do you think the most expensive classic collection card's going to be? I think most people would say crystal Lugia. I think it's a Magikarp. The Magikarp is absolutely. It's so good. It's. I like it a lot. The gold is, like. It just enhances the card, you know, minus the stamp on there. It's just. And there's just so many modern collectors that, like, aren't connected to the Lugia. Right. Like, the hardcore collectors obviously know what the Lugia is. They know the lineage. It's amazing card. I don't really think the gold looks great on it, but that Magikarp is a card that, like, people have been trying to chase for a very long time, and a lot of people still have not hit it. It's probably the most popular, if not one of the most popular artists. I don't know. I could see it happening. I might be a little bit out there to pick that, but I wouldn't be shocked. And the original Magikarp is so hard to grade. Yu-Gi-Oh So if this is an easier 10, I could see. What if they make it even harder 10 than the original Magikarp? Then it. I mean, by far. Who knows? That's. That is crazy. What about the Pikachu? What do you think the, the top Pikachu is going to be? I mean, it's probably the, the candle one, the. The Magikarp artist, I think probably takes the top spot. Me personally, I like the Squishy Face. Pikachu is my favorite one. That's great. I love the one in the staircase. The Squishy Face one. Is that the same? Yu-Gi-Oh Take back what I said. That is a great one. Yu-Gi-Oh I love that one. I haven't really seen them all. I mean, like, I've looked at them, but like, I'm sure there will be some that like, as I'm opening them, I'm just going to be like, I love this so much. Yu-Gi-Oh I mean, the one. Yes. Okay. I see why you call it the Squishy Face, but Yu-Gi-Oh that one's great. That one is absolutely going to be amazing. I like the one eating as well. They're amazing. It's going to be good. I mean, a lot of them are very. I'm sorry. There's the one where he's like at a picnic, kind of like eating. Then there's the other one where there's this like sitting in a couch with like pillows of other like Pokemon pillows and a Pokeball. That one's a banger too. I don't know. I just. There's going to be so many good ones. I would agree with you though. I think the, the Squishy Face stuck in the. In the staircase spindles. I really think that's probably going to be top notch. That's so good. We'll see once we, once we rip them all open though, and we can see all 30 of them up like, and compare them a little bit better. That we'll find out. But I would agree with you. What do you think the best sealed product to hold for five years is going to be? Upc. I mean, I don't think there's another choice for that. It's going to be outrageous, honestly. Six months after release, packs over. Under $10. Six months over. I agree. I don't think they drop unless Pokemon just falls off the map Again. I don't think there's a way this pack ever even touches $10. I don't think so either. Five years from now, 30th or 25th celebrations. 30th. You think it outperforms? I think so too. There's no way it's so much even close. I like celebrations a lot. I do as well. But I think this just blows out of the water. I agree. The 30th is a big deal. You know, kids are opening up packs. Who from cards like cards today that parents were opening up in base set. It makes it more nostalgic, more connected, you know, between your kids and yourself. The younger collectors and the older collectors. You have collectors who grew up with the ex, started during diamond and Pearl, kids who grew up during XY, people who entered during the 2020 boom. And then entirely new generations just opening up Pokemon right now. All of that into one set. 30 Pikachus, 30 classic cards. New Illustration Rare futuristic cards. Mew Mewtwo, Umbreon, Espreon, Greninja, Sylveon, Gengar, Pikachu. It's unreal. Two packs in a product, up to 30 packs in a product. Here's a question I want to ask everybody watching. Is the 30th celebration going to be remembered as one of the greatest Pokemon sets ever made? Or is it creating so much hype that it cannot possibly live up to this? Hmm. I don't know. That's tough. I'm excited to hear what people say. Let us know what you're chasing, let us know what you're not, what you're gonna skip, and most importantly, what card from the 30 year history absolutely should have been printed in that 30th collection, the classic collection. What should have been in there that they didn't put? What, what, what did you want to see that you're like, man, I wish they would have printed this card. Everybody's different. I don't know. What a. What a great product. I am so excited for this. I am too. It is going to be absolutely phenomenal. What else you got for us? You got anything you want to add on the end of that? I don't think so. I'm excited. I'm also excited. I can't wait. Good luck to everybody. It is going to be crazy. Yu-Gi-Oh I'm going to have product on my stream, so if you guys want to rip some with me. Carbohydrate will also have some on his stream. We will also have product available. It is already going to be tough to find. It is going to be. It is going to be expensive. I'm very sorry. I know.
