No, I've been, I've been too busy with Marvel cards over the last week that I don't even know what day it is anymore. I don't know what's going on. I'm in such a deep hole that we have to start a Marvel Card podcast. Yu-Gi-Oh this is the, the comic book card podcast. You, me and, and we'll get David Lloyd on here from across the pond to, to get the UK perspective because I know he's been neck deep in this stuff too, so. But Yu-Gi-Oh we'll talk about that more in purchases that this has been. Yu-Gi-Oh I fully, fully converted Danny to a comic book card guy. So. Well, full disclosure, I'm a, I'm, I'm big movie guy. I've been a list since day one. I am the creme de la creme. When I walk into a cinema, I get half off popcorn. Get five dollar popcorn everywhere I go for a large Beckett I am him when it comes to the cinema and Johnny got me on the gravy train when it comes to Marvel cards. And I am not looking back. I mean, because I, I think honestly, if you guys follow, if anyone that listens to the show follows entertainment cards right now, Disney Chrome, Disney Chrome from the first year they released base cards and refractors are going for like into the hundreds of dollars. I'm going back to 2024 Marvel, actually. I'll talk about what I just Beckett up in purchases as well, but a lot of Marvel purchases this week for me, but Yu-Gi-Oh certainly can't be ignored. Everyone just wants the first edition of everything. So right now I think a good Blue Ice going to be 2024, top score Marvel and it's going to follow suit to Disney. Yu-Gi-Oh it's. I mean, I think there are also a lot of parallels with wrestling too in a way where I think, Yu-Gi-Oh you know, do I think wrestling is going to follow Marvel and Disney? I think it'd be kind of silly to think that in a sense of like an IP perspective because Disney and Marvel are two of the biggest ips in the world. You know, we saw what, what happened this week with D23 and all the merch and everything that released. It was Absolute chaos in the secondary market for that stuff. Wrestling doesn't get anywhere near that. And now Marvel, with all the movies coming out, all the excitement around Doomsday and X Men and you know, all the movies coming out in the next two years, there's so much hype and buzz around, you know, Marvel right now in the mcu. And Yu-Gi-Oh it's, it's definitely interesting. I mean, I've been collecting Marvel. Not to get too into this, but I have Marvel cards going back to like the early 90s. I have a lot of the 90s impel set. I have a lot of the flir. Early 90s. 92, I have that full 94 set. I have a full 92 set. I think you and I went back and let's look again to purchases later. But we went back and looking at the 2001 tops Marvel Legends cards that we used to rip, you know, 25 years ago, you know, so I kind of go back pretty far. And I mean there's stuff that I was able to get for a dollar or two a year or two ago that I can't even touch that now. And it's all character based. Like Dr. Doom stuff is through the roof. Spider Man Two years ago, three years ago, Dr. Doom stuff was an afterthought. But now that he's the focal point in the next Avengers movie and Robert Downey Jr. And everything, people, people want to dive into to doom stuff. So it's definitely an interesting market and it's been a lot of fun to kind of teach you like the different sets and who to look for and the breaks and all that kind of stuff. And obviously you're a card guy so you know, you, you jump on fast to what you're supposed to look for. And Yu-Gi-Oh I know there's a lot of comic book fans and comic movie, comic book movie fans that listen to the show that we're friends with. So they'll, they'll appreciate this little five minute diversion. Yu-Gi-Oh All right, well, anything additional, follow us on socials, Instagram X and Tik Tok at card foundation pod and finally pro wrestlingtees.com carvot pick up a Johnny Johnny wrestling shirt if you're so inclined. Pick up Danny Drip Drip shirts still available. So hit those up. And of course busy week in wrestling cards. So why don't we start up the releases here? 2026 Upper Deck, Yu-Gi-Oh flagship. I haven't ripped any. Have you ripped any? No, I've been looking at some, just some stuff on ebay and some stuff on social media. I haven't ripped any boxes yet. Truthfully. That was my plan up until Friday when we went to the card show and I kind of dove into a million other things. My plan over the weekend was to, to get some of this stuff and it just didn't happen. But Yu-Gi-Oh I mean I like what I've seen so far. I think, you know, the, the favorite part of the set for us has been fanimation. Yep. And I think the prices, I've been pleasantly surprised in terms of like they're actually affordable. They're not going for, you know. Right. A ton of money. So it makes me happy because at least I can, I can actually go after some of this stuff. So Yu-Gi-Oh I'm actually, I'm pleasantly surprised with how the image variations are doing. Seeing sales. Mina Shirakawa had an image variation sold for 200 as well as Mercedes Monet who had an image variation solver155. I mean really strong numbers for, you know, what's a typical regular variation that's just short printed and it looks like the fanimation sales are doing pretty good. I actually thought they would have been higher. Same. Yu-Gi-Oh Seeing examples of Willow Nightingale going for, I believe it was like 80 something. 83. I saw another name before that sold in like this. I think Swerve Strickland did like 72, something like that. So I'm, I'm surprised. I thought it would have been stronger for such a rare case hit, but hey, it just makes it more collectible and I plan on getting my hands on someone. Toni Storm looks like she sold for over 200, which is awesome. So, Yu-Gi-Oh 203 for Toni Storm again. And something we spoke about too. Like, I think if the checklist was a little bit better for that set, I think it would have warranted some better pricing. Yu-Gi-Oh you know, MJF and Mercedes are probably the two biggest names on the checklist. But you know, if you would have thrown Will Ospreay, Kyle Fletcher, Kenny Omega, you know, Moxley, or you know, some of the bigger names in that set, I think it would have done, you know, pretty well. Yu-Gi-Oh not saying, like there are Willow collectors, there are Toni Storm collectors, there are Swerve collectors. But, you know, that's the one thing that I, I think Tops continues to do very well is they recognize who needs to be a case hit, you know, and, and they provide that for the most part. Yu-Gi-Oh No, even the out of 25s out of that setter are doing extremely well. And I find it funny because like there's cards that are selling 50, 60, 70, 80. I'm looking at like Brody King non autographed to 25 doing that. Julia Hart and other names if you go adjacent to WWE. I mean, a Cosmic Solo Sokoa auto to 25 just did 70 bucks. A Jay Uso Cactus Shack orange auto out of 25 just did 62. Like, very surprising that we're getting such strong sales out of base. And I know it just came out, so that's probably why it's a little inflated. But like even Kendall gray out of 25 geometric just did 72. So a Brody King that just came out out of 25 outsold Kendall Gray, who's got a hell of a lot more potential and someone that, you know, her autos this year were selling for several hundred dollars into the thousand dollar mark. Right. So very surprising. But if they hold, I'll be shocked. But if they drop, you know, it could have been as expected, just fresh product just came out. People want to get their hands on their stuff. Yu-Gi-Oh No, first of all, it's good incentive for people to actually want to rip this stuff because the first thing you know that everyone's doing is they're going to car ladder a day or two after this comes out. Maybe the weekend after that comes out, you know, they're going to car ladder, they're going to Absolute listings, and they're seeing what this stuff is selling for. Because if it, you know, and this is, this is true for every product. It's something that I always do, you know, I'll take a look and see how things are selling. Because if things are taking a dive bomb and it's not something that I necessarily want to collect for the PC, I one-of-one even touch it. Yu-Gi-Oh So, you know, I think it's a good sign to see some of this stuff, you know, getting good pricing because it's gonna incentivize people to actually go out and rip it and not just say it's a stupid flagship product. Nobody cares about it. I'll wait until the next Allure or the next Metal Universe or the next, you know, SP game used or whatever. You know, it gives people a reason to rip a set like this. So. And the other thing too is, like, a lot of people complain, and we did in the beginning about, you know, Upper Deck and their choice to not give you an auto every box or not give, you know, some of these SP cards, you know, per box and everything like that. But look what it's done in the, in, like the photo variations. I think that's a. An SP that collectors will always chase after. It's important. And they're doing well in the secondary market because they're rare. You know, if you've got a photo variation in every box, or if you got one in every case or every half case, the big names are going to sell for decent and everybody else is going to fall to the wayside because they're not rare, they're not important. But Upper Deck makes those cards important. Tyler Redicure from 2311 Racing. The rush of racing. Nothing beats it. But Chumba Casino comes close. Although a protected have another botch. So the Lexi Nair card does not have Lexi Nair on it. Yu-Gi-Oh I saw Dave Nagel posted that. Yu-Gi-Oh Who is that? Do you know? It's Arcady Aura. I. I feel like. I feel like there's one of these kinds of boshes in every set. I mean even look at. Was it Mark Sterling's card got up the last time? Yep. Yu-Gi-Oh It seems like it's always something. Maybe they just. Maybe they should just keep the momentum going. Every year they should just up someone's flagship card. I think it's. I think it's funny. I think. I think they should keep it going at this point. Yu-Gi-Oh I mean unless someone who actually. That happens to. If they actually care, then Yu-Gi-Oh then it's a bad luck. Right. But if they don't. I mean it's funny because Mark was actually like hip to it. Like he, you know. Yu-Gi-Oh He knows cards. He's in that way. Oh. Because the major group and everybody hitting them up saying hey, we want to collect your cards and they just. They botched it. Yu-Gi-Oh So. But one-of-one also out pre order WWWE universe for 150 a hobby box. You end up getting anything on TOPS Obsidian, I. I don't. I mean we'll get into it in Car corner this week. Card Corner is going to be all about Universe and the checklist and the breakdown and everything. So I'll save some of that commentary for that. But Yu-Gi-Oh I don't. I don't know if this is gonna be a product I even touch. So I, I didn't go after it. Yu-Gi-Oh I'm not either. I'm probably just gonna honestly just scour ebay, see if there's anything that looks cool, interesting that I might look to pick up at a good price. But other than that I don't plan on ripping. I don't think I. I Have no excitement for the set coming out whatsoever. Plus I'd rather save up and load up for Stadium Club when that drops. If it drops. When it drops. Well, Yu-Gi-Oh true. Yu-Gi-Oh it's. I thought I, I do think though that, you know, the price point was good. It's exactly what I think. WWE collectors and wrestling collectors, they need that sub 200 box that they can rip if they want to get a hobby and not feel guilty about it. You know, it should keep break spots pretty cheap because breakers aren't going to have to make up, you know, three thousand dollar cases. They're gonna be able to make a nice margin but still keep spots at a, at a lower, lower price hopefully. So it definitely has its place. It's just for me it was too close to the universe set that we just got in terms of timing, in terms of design. I thought the design was very similar and we, we got that product less than eight months ago. So. Yu-Gi-Oh I didn't need a second one so soon. Right. But we'll get into it. All right. A new top snow card this week which is card number 88 featuring MFT winning the belts and Haku. Yu-Gi-Oh not surprised they came out with that. I one-of-one be buying, but Yu-Gi-Oh same. That's cool. All right, you PSA show. Let's get into some of this news. PSA released PSA because. Well, we'll get into it. I'm not sure. August 11th they released their latest backlog update. So they stated that the number in their backlog went from 12.4 million to 11.85 million. It's something. That's why you're a show. No, it's, it's ass. That wasn't a big, that wasn't a big drop off at all. But again the national ruined it. That's what, that's what killed it. So you still believe that they're going to get to 5 million by the end of the year and open things up again? What are we all recording as of August 19th? So August, September, October, November, December, four months they gotta do. No, I think they're gonna, I think it's gonna be like February, March bite. I guess I'm gonna save my hot take from next week's episode that we're doing hot takes but. Oh Christ, I got a bit of a hot take for PSA Bitter. Johnny's back. You should be like one of those Gary BV friends. They should call you like no sour push Johnny or something. It's got, it's got to be have alliteration so it's got to be like, Yu-Gi-Oh Jokester Johnny or Yu-Gi-Oh Jackass Johnny. There you go. Yu-Gi-Oh or Jolly Johnny with a big frown on your card. one-of-one no, it's. They got to do a better job. I know the, the national certainly didn't help when they were, you know, selling out and taking in cards all throughout July. So I'm not surprised. They barely made a dent in this one. I think what's going to be telling is the next two months how many cards they're able to pump out. If they could do 500, 000 to a million, at least the light is looking, you know, still at the end of the tunnel but still a far distance away. But at least it's something. You know, I'm gonna start getting excited when they hit like 7 million and they're only 2 million to go. You know, they'll be able to pump that out, I would think relatively quick. But Yu-Gi-Oh just a bad look that they were taking cards of national for people that were doing higher pricing. And I get it. Like, I still think they should shut down the 80 submission and 125 or whatever it is. They should just make it like premium, premium submission levels for, you know, people that get big cards. Which is still frustrating because like I saw, it was funny the other day I saw an article about like someone hit like a hundred thousand dollar card and they literally didn't have the money to grade it with PSA because the upcharge was like 10k for them to grade it or something or like 5000. So I think they had like a card shop like run it for them and basically said like when you get like the sale then. Well, I mean, I've thought about that. Or like you hit like, you know, one of these Cooper Flag Update Chrome cards or like a big like Dylan Harper or you know, even like, you know, you and I talked about first year Marvel Chrome and maybe trying to open some of that. And like, what if you pull like a, you know, a low numbered Spider man or something like that? It's gonna cost five grand just to grade the thing. Yu-Gi-Oh it's ridiculous. You know, it's. And I think that's gonna be the, you know, the new way to do things is like I saw this actually in a, a King of the cards YouTube video. I know that you, you're a fan of, of Kyle and King of the Cards and I've, I've slowly changed my tune on him. Oh, all right, well, we'll save that for the Hot Takes video or the Hot Takes episode. But I watched his night, one of his national videos and someone came up to his booth with a pretty big green pmg. I want to say it was like Jerry Rice or someone, someone big. It was a big card and it was raw. The guy had it since it came out and he never touched it. Yu-Gi-Oh Oh, I think I saw this video. Yu-Gi-Oh So he ended up bringing it to psa, paying for the grading and taking that out of the sale number. Yu-Gi-Oh Because I think that's going to be what's gonna happen. This guy probably saw the card and was like, like this is a fifty thousand dollar card. It's gonna cost me eight grand to get this graded. I can't afford that. I just want to get rid of this card. Right. You know, so I think that's gonna, I think that's gonna be something that we see more often where you know, people when dealing like really high end raw cards, they're just gonna try to maybe work that into the deal just to obviously guarantee you authentication and then just take that off the top on the sale price. Right. And that instance, like and that's a type of card where like every grade matters like the four to the five to the six to the seven, like that's gonna really determine value. So I mean it's kind of crazy when that does happen. Right. It's not like it's, you know, hopefully this gets a nine but you know, or hopefully it gets a ten. But we're, you know, we're thinking this is more like a nine. This is like I'm hoping for a seven. If it gets a six it's like $15,000 cheaper. Right. You know, so that, that matters and it's a big deal when it comes to this stuff, so. Yu-Gi-Oh But. All right, what else we got? So this is a pretty interesting one. The 20, Topps. Now Shohei Otani, John Cena Superfractor PSA 10 is currently at auction right now via Fanatics Collect Premier Auctions. It is currently at $25,000 on 27 bids. There are eight days left in the auction. So we'll next week. We should have an idea when we record of the sale price or close to it. Yu-Gi-Oh Could this be the most expensive wrestling card or a most expensive card featuring a wrestler? This was not autograph, correct? Just 101 Superfractor one of one base. I mean if it does break any records, all, all the wrestling fans should be thanking Shohei Otani for that. Oh Yu-Gi-Oh of course. Because he's the reason why this card is doing anything of course, but I think it's gonna pull somewhere between 50 and 100. It's Shohei. All of his stuff is just like. Yu-Gi-Oh Astronomical right now. I mean. Right. So you put pop culture with him on a card. Like it's just. That's. It's pretty epic. Right? And it's the only time you're gonna get that. Oh Yu-Gi-Oh Versus like 20, Topps. Chrome Zebra 2021 top scrum. Zebra 2022 top scrum Zebra Like Yu-Gi-Oh There's different years. Obviously they're all one of ones. But it's. It's still the base card from that set that year. So it's a similar card. Right. This tops down card you're never going to see again. It was a one time thing that was put together that it was for a moment that you know, that's it. So this card in the auto version, that's all you're gonna get. Yu-Gi-Oh Right. I think the autograph version is a minimum of a six figure card. Oh Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh I'd agree with you there. It's just. I mean Otani is just. It. It's a different ball game when it comes. So that's your, that's your guess between 50 and 100? Yep, that is my guess. You think it's. You think that's valid or you think that's justified or. Yu-Gi-Oh it's Shohei Otani. That's why it's justified. Guys got X factor rookie cards and PSA 10s going for 18k now slap a 101 on it. I don't care what year it is, it's gonna sell for 50 to 100. Yu-Gi-Oh I think what was the last time an Otani card didn't get that? That's what I would love to know. A one of one. It's a good question. I'll take a look right now. Actually a good indication. Just type in tops now. Shohei Otani 101 and let's see. See what kind of sales we're. I mean he had a one of one tops now auto for his a thousandth career MLB hit and it did 100 grand. 106, 000. So like you know, there you go. Like unimportant milestone. Right. But now this is interesting because actually in July he had a standard tops. Now it just. He had a lead off home run and pitched six innings and it only got five K. One of one. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh So that was pretty interesting. Now he also had like an off season one of one PSA nine of just like Yamamoto and Otani and it got 7, 300. So maybe John Cena has some star power on this. Maybe he does. I mean you'll never get to them on a card again. If this was a pack pulled card. I think it's. We're talking about something completely different. But Yu-Gi-Oh maybe. Let's see what's at the $50,000 mark. He's had a few few one of ones do 50k in tops now. Yu-Gi-Oh His NLCS card that didn't even his 3 home run 10k playoff game did 105, 000. That's not autographed. Right. Maybe it could do less than 50. Maybe it'll fall between 30 and 40. A lot of bids but a lot of time for that to sit still for another week, you know. Right. So true. Maybe 50 to 75. We'll see. Yu-Gi-Oh Some more news before we get into purchases. The another big card. John Cena WrestleMania patch auto 101. I wanted to give a little update. So last week I mentioned that it was sitting at auction and I mentioned nobody had bid on it yet. Apparently that was like some preview for The Goldin Summer 100. Yu-Gi-Oh But it was a little confusing because I had like a countdown clock and it had like a bid count and everything. And so for a preview card I don't know why they would do that. But it is part of the Goldin Summer 100 auction which is going to take place I believe starting like now and it ends in a month from now. So it's like mid September. It ends the Rhea Ripley WrestleMania patch. One of one is also in that. So I believe it's like, you know, they're one of their premier summer auctions. Yu-Gi-Oh So I guess we'll see in about a month from now what it ends up getting. But both of those cards are on there. So. Yu-Gi-Oh just wanted to give a little clarification. Cool. All right. Last but not least before we get to purchases the big event, we got a roster update for the next installment of the Big event New York show which is going to be in November in Brentwood, New York. And they have added Taryn Terrell, Rosemary Ally, Sean Waltman, Kaylee Ray. I don't know if I had mentioned the great Collie, but I thought he would have been an addition. Nikki Storm, TJ Wilson and Chris Van Vliet. Nice. Do you have an X pack BCA done. I do not know and best believe I will be getting one done. I was gonna say I believe you need to add that to the list. So you can, you can finish dx. You got that right, partner. Which one? You know which one you have to get with the red gear. Yu-Gi-Oh the black and red gear. The one I played with as a kid. Yep. Yu-Gi-Oh I have to. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh Me and my heater were going back and forth about because he was thinking to get the DX one with the DX gear, but I don't know, I didn't play with that one. So like there's no. I'm less sentimental towards it. Me, you and your heater need to plan a trip down to Pandora box before the heater has his kid. Because once that happens, we literally have like a month. Sayonara. So we need to figure out a Saturday or something where we can take the ride down and. Yu-Gi-Oh and do that because I have a list of stuff that I need to pick up and. Yu-Gi-Oh I'm not taking the chance on yellowing bubbles and cracked cards and I. I need to see this stuff in person. So you gotta hope they have the inventory though, because that's a long trip to not. I think, I think they do. I mean, Yu-Gi-Oh from the videos and stuff that we've seen, they have a pretty decent wrestling right, you know, selection. Sepia. All right. Anything else? Just purchases. All right, well, I got a lengthy little list of purchases. Yu-Gi-Oh apparently so do I. Yu-Gi-Oh So let's get right into it. So we didn't get to really talk about it much, but we did visit the east coast national last Friday in White Plains in New York. Got to see good buddy Harris Decker, Queen City breaks who of course always takes care of the boys, always hooks it up, always has the best wrestling card selection at the show. So we always say anybody that's looking for something specific in wrestling cards, Harris probably has like something. So my pickups from him Beckett up a Braun Breaker exalted ambient autograph on card number to 50. I Beckett up the Brett the Hitman heart star fractor number to 10, which in person the star fractures are beautiful. Awesome card. I love these. I'm surprised they're not more valued for what they are. And I believe they were towards case hit level. They were harder to hit. People have been. Actually I think they. People have been scouring for these. So I'm gonna. I'm gonna hold this. I plan on getting a few more. Just some of my favorite stars. But ultimately the big. The big boy, the Rock GPK case hit from Chrome. So now I have two of my all time favorites. I got Tiffy, I got the Rock and I'M very happy with that. I think the only three more I want to get, I want a Ria, I want an Orton, and a Roman. I lied. And also Cody, I need those four. And I'll be perfect with my GBK collection, which I'm surprised I even did this because I have no sentimental value or anything towards GBK's period. Yu-Gi-Oh but you love. You love the card. I just think it's fun, it's cool, it's unique. And that was a card that I knew you were gonna. You Goldin stop thinking about it. Yu-Gi-Oh And that's when I know, like, I mean, that's what anyone should know. When you're adding a card like that to your collection, that's when I think you kind of know, like, okay, I think I need to pick this up. It was like, you saw it in the case. And then throughout the entire show, you're just like, oh, that rock, that rock, that rock. You kept bringing it up. And then towards the end, you're like, all right, I'm gonna go. I gotta go talk to Harris. And I'm like, all right. And that's what ended up happening. So not to, you know, completely, you know, spend all our time talking about. About his booth, but I will say I mentioned this every time, and I will say it again. If you're listening to this and you're a collector and you're looking for wrestling cards, whether it's bulk, whether it's a specific auto or. Or a parallel or a case hit or a graded version of that card, I would definitely hit him up. He's in our Patreon group, so if you're a Patreon member, you can, you know, hit him up in there. Hit him up on Instagram at Queen City Breaks, because his selection is just. He's got stuff that, like, he just has a lot of it, you know, he had. And his value, you know, his quote unquote value boxes are most people's showcase stuff. Tyler redick here from 2311 Racing, Victory Lane. Yu-Gi-Oh it's even better with Chumba by my side. You know, like, he had stuff in there that I was like, this probably should be in a showcase. This should be in a showcase, you know, and it's. It's just amongst the other stuff because, Yu-Gi-Oh he just has so much of it. Yu-Gi-Oh So I would suggest if you're looking for a specific case, that if you're looking for a specific car, that you just. Maybe you saw it on ebay. Maybe you're waiting to pull the trigger. Maybe you're looking maybe to get like a brother deal or, you know, working into a bigger deal. Maybe you're a Whatnot seller and you want to load up some inventory. I would say hit him up because he's incredibly easy to work with and he's just got a ton of it, Sepia. But also, I mean, went down the Marvel rabbit hole. 2024 Topps Chrome Beckett up a bunch of refractors. I Beckett up like three Star Lords. I Beckett up like three Jean Grays because I'm gonna stack up on just base refractors and like, high numbered of like, just characters I like. Also from 2026 Topps Chrome Beckett up the Dr. Doom fanfare, which Johnny alluded to me that that's a gonna be a big set. People are digging the cards. The numbered cards of these versions are going into the hundreds. So I had no problem picking up a. A little base of Dr. Doom with the movie coming out and got it at a great price. Also went nostalgic. Bought a bunch of packs of 2001 tops Marvel Legends. I remember us opening those in Universal at Florida when we were like children. It's like six or eight years old running around. You know, I remember being on the flight home trying to trade with you guys. And so that means you were. I was seven. Yu-Gi-Oh So I vividly. That's like one of my early, like, card memories was These Marvel cards, I was like, I gotta get some. Didn't even know they had foils of these. So I ended up picking up a Spider man foil on ebay. Got that at a. Actually a pretty solid price that I plan on sending in to get graded. Spider Man's the king of Marvel right now, so I ended up picking that up as well. And then I Beckett up a Blaster and Omega 2026 top scroll Marvel. And I've gotten nice hits out of those. Hit a number to 10 of, I think, Luna Snow. Not the biggest character, but the card does sell over like 100 or 200 bucks. And then an out of 41 of arcade out of the blaster. But just really cool inserts, really fun refractors. So I'm. I'm definitely on the. I'm on the Marvel train now, so I'm proud. Thank you. That's my purchases. So I'll start with the show. I Beckett up a couple of 1990 Impel Marvel universe cards. I have a lot of these, but Beckett up a Spider Man, a. I want to say a Punisher, and I think a Dr. Doom or someone else. Not. I don't think they're gradable, but I just. I love those cards. So I just Beckett up my favorites out of the. Out of the set that the guy had. I Beckett up a bunch of loose, random packs. I've been picking up packs of cards of, like, IPS that my daughter loves, so. And all old stuff that I can, like, just put away for her or, you know, show her. So I found, like, an old Little Mermaid pack, an old Beauty and the Beast pack from, like, 92, and I think 91. I. I got a pack of. What else did I get? Dick Tracy, Jurassic Park. Yu-Gi-Oh you got some Wild. They're all cheap. They're all like a dollar or two. So I just Beckett up, you know, some of that stuff. I like opening that. Some of that stuff. I also Beckett up two blasters of Upper Deck Marvel Avengers Metal Universe. So rip those didn't really pull anything big, but that was kind of a fun rip. I used to rip that stuff, so ripped some of that. I ripped a mega of tops 2026 Topps Chrome Marvel as well. And then I also ripped three packs of 2001 tops Marvel Legends. As soon as you ordered yours, I. I went and got mine, and somehow I. I opened the right packs because I got the foil packs and you didn't. But I'm gonna put the whole set together of that. So I'm gonna go after all the foils going after all the base and all those. I'll save my pile of base for you because I got Topps and trips of like some people. Yu-Gi-Oh I'm gonna need, I'm gonna need to see you know, some of those. So see I did that then on ebay I Beckett up a. First year Marvel Chrome, a rogue card out of 299 blue Refractor. So I, I'm gonna be on a bit of a rogue kick I think because they announced that Indian Everett from what do you call Session Obsession is gonna be in this movie and she's one of like the hottest up and coming actresses in in movies right now. Fan of hers. So fact that she's going to be rogue, I started to pick up some rogue stuff. I also Beckett up a 2026 Topps Chrome Marvel Pete Alonzo formerly of the New York Mets, the cordially invited SSP insert. So it was a, an insert in 2026 Marvel where they included like athletes and actors and stuff like that. So Beckett up the one for Pete and I also Beckett up from 2026 Topps Chrome Marvel a fanfare of Emma Frost. Nice. So someone else that it was announced for that movie for the new X Men movie. So Yu-Gi-Oh I think those cards are absolutely beautiful. What they did with those. The artwork is great. It's like a 55 point card. So it's a little bit thicker, a little bit better card stock. Big fan of those. Oh and to go back to the show I also Beckett up what's going on here. I Beckett up a, a box of Upper Deck Yu-Gi-Oh metal universe from 2022 first year. That's right, you did. I, I mean I got it for basically the cost of a blaster. So I was like it's kind of hard to turn down opening a hobby for that. Right. And I PMGs are looking now out of metal. I think I paid 40 bucks or 45 bucks for a full hobby box. I mean. Yu-Gi-Oh worth a shot. I'll kind of, I'll do that all. I'll do that every day. Like that to me is like almost a no brainer. Yu-Gi-Oh And I hit a Daniel Garcia auto and a Jade Cargill palladium acetate. So those are the two big hits out of that box. Nothing crazy, but still, I mean so you can go get a blaster of top series one for 30 bucks and get nothing. Yu-Gi-Oh You know, so to me it was a no brainer. So Yu-Gi-Oh that was very long winded purchases for us. I think for the last couple weeks we haven't had much. And this week we kind of and had some fun, so. Yu-Gi-Oh I'm sure I'm gonna have more on the way, too, especially with Marvel. I'm gonna go down the rabbit hole now. What? Not and breaking. Yu-Gi-Oh I know. So. Well, why don't you lead us through the Patreons? Do I have to? Because I'm watching a mint break right now that I'm in. All right, I'll take care of it. Thank you. Who. Which one are you watching, by the way? Because I'm in one, too. I don't know. I'm in card shop and I have Iron man, so this is big. So far, nothing. All right, let me just. Yu-Gi-Oh Now Professor X wants to hit. But earlier in the day, I Goldin get that. Have to beep that out. Yu-Gi-Oh All right. Weekly purchases in the Patreon group. Kick things off with William C. Hackenberg. Grabbed the Dory Funk spot in a delight break in honor of his passing and hit the 1 out of 10 hall of Fame auto. Oh, nice. That's awesome. Dave Nagel. Julia Cosmic orange Refractor to 25. Matt Hoff Beckett up a 2017 Stardom Collection Yu-Gi-Oh Shri Auto with the ace inscription. That's sick. I don't think I've ever seen that card. John Thurman. 2026 Starlight Kid Auto acrylic from a Japanese retail store. Lucky bag. Also a 2026 Sukiban Saki Bimi. Thanks to Jonathan Francisco. I probably butchered that, but I'm glad I didn't have to read that. Last but not least, Brian Lyons. Lucky hit on Oba king of the ring to Topps now card. And two more decades breaks. First had a bunch of spots. Did okay with Farouk Auto and two cards. Number to 25. Looks like Steve Blackman and Road Dog the second only had the Dudleys, but I got what I wanted with the double auto number to 75. Nice. Which is actually a pretty cool card. It's. It's in the tops decade set. Looks like it's a dual auto of Devon and Bubba Ray. And it's got the ECW logo on there. It's got an image of them from ECW. So. And it's actually pretty cool. And then the two out of orange out of 25s that he hit was Road Dog Enter the War Zone and Steve Blackman Base Leave the weapon. That's my guy. That's with that pose of him. Him. And the Kendo stick is iconic. Yep. All right. So while Danny continues To cross his fingers for some luck on Whatnot. I will take us into the final segment of this week's show, which is Card Corner right after this. Tyler redick here from 2311 Racing, Victory Lane. Yu-Gi-Oh it's even better with Chumba by my side. That's homes@850.com all right, guys, welcome back. Welcome to the final segment of this week's show, which is Card Corner. So this week, as promised, we are going to discuss TOPS's latest WWE release, which is scheduled for September 11, 2026. And that is 2026 TOPS WWE Universe. Excuse me, 2026 TOPS WWE Universe. So I will take us through what to expect, the different inserts, all that kind of stuff. Everyone knows the deal at this point and then we will talk about the checklist. We'll talk about whether we're going to buy it or pass it. So in the hobby box, you're going to get 12 cards per pack. Megas, 12 cards for back value. Box, you're gonna get six. Hobby, you're gonna get 10 cards per pack. Mega six cards, six packs per box. I'm sorry, mega, six packs per box. And value, six packs per box. Hobby, you're gonna get 12 boxes per case. Mega is 20 boxes per case is a 300 card set. And you are expected to get two autos and one relic per hobby box. So the 300 card set features legends, smackdown and raw talent. NXT superstars. The first two 200 cards of the set are the traditional base cards, and then the last hundred cards of the set are the peak performance variations. Autos are on card, and those auto sets include Universe autographs, Legends autographs, Next level autographs, and anniversary sets dedicated to stone cold CM Punk, the Rock, the Dudleys, NWO Leader, and Trish Stratus. Universe Relics are the most common relic cards to find in the set, followed by WWE Authentics and then Ringside Relics. There are also Superstar Triple Relics, which feature three pieces of. Of a relic for a Superstar. There are 13 inserts in the sheer set the chase. Only three of them are returning, so the other 10 are all brand new inserts to chase. So the three. The three returning sets are dazzling debuts, Forever Factions and namesakes. And then the new inserts include to the nines, grand entrance. Lucha, Lucha, Lucha. Grander scale. We are nxt. Hit my music. Alias Slammed, Flashpoint and Echoes. Surprised that they didn't bring back men now and forever. Oh, we got Lucha, Lucha, Lucha instead. Lucha, Lucha, Lucha. That's crazy. I mean, where to begin? I. I would have rather talked about MLW ring royalty this week. Yu-Gi-Oh I'm. I have zero excitement for this. We just got it a couple months ago, and they haven't shown anything yet. That's like, okay, maybe I should dive in because this insert looks cool or, you know, this person has an autograph now. Like, I have zero excitement for this at all. I'm sorry, I just. I don't. Yu-Gi-Oh So I'm looking at the auto checklist now. Looks like a lot of the, you know, the names that we're used to. Does Danhausen have anything in this? He has car. He has base cards, but no auto. No. I'm gonna see. So. No, nothing. Universe Auto is like the base auto, I guess. Steve Blackman's got an auto. That's wild. So you're gonna have to get on that. Yep. Legends Autos. Obviously, he wouldn't be in that next level Autos we got. Oh, why would he be a Legends Auto? No. Damn. Oh, I'll say. The Lethal Weapon is absolutely a legend. Ken Shamrock has a Legends auto. Oh, that's cool. He's also a living legend, so those might be two spots I hit in the in breaks if I ever. If I do them. Yu-Gi-Oh because they'll be cheaper too. So if you hit an auto, you one-of-one Right. Next level Autos. Blake Monroe, Izzy Dame, Kendall Gray, Obafemi, Solruka, Trick Williams, Ren Sinclair, Zarya. Then we got this. Austin Anniversary Autos. Dudley, CM Punk, the Rock, nwo Alita, Trish, Superstar Relic signatures. Do we got a Danhausen? No. Yu-Gi-Oh So we didn't even get anything exciting of Danhausen in this. It's ridiculous. Worldwide Relic Autos. We got an Alistair Black. He hasn't even been with the company in how many months? It's crazy. Kyrie Sane. She hasn't been with the company in months, right? Nope. She's done like only fans now or something. She's doing something crazy. Let's see. Tag team Relic Autos. These are interesting. These are dual autos. Obviously. Solarukazari is pretty. Pretty cool. CM Punk, AJ Lee. That's probably gonna be a big one. Yu-Gi-Oh Punk fans will would want that. Yu-Gi-Oh Kyrie Sane and Oscar, Roxanne Perez, Raquel Rodriguez. Title marks, relic signatures. Those are all like the champions. Yu-Gi-Oh So Danhausen does not have an auto. Yu-Gi-Oh I'm not even excited about like the. The designs look the. Almost the exact same. Yu-Gi-Oh Like I know this, this horizontal card which I still can't make out what is behind it. So we got some rookies. I guess I'll read those and you can tell me what. How you feel about that. So Talatanga rookie. He was in Chrome. It's probably gonna be all the NXTs from Chrome. Yu-Gi-Oh Saquon Sugars, Osiris Griffin, Dion, Lennox Cutler James, Lainey Reed, Joe Hendry, Uriah Connors, Kale Dixon. Same thing we've been getting. I think he was in Cosmic. Yu-Gi-Oh Nothing to write home about. So I will be passing on this. Yu-Gi-Oh Let's see. Yu-Gi-Oh So. I'm just looking to see if there's anything in the inserts that sticks out and that. Obviously we one-of-one really know what, you know, people like or whatever until the stuff starts to get open because we only have so many previews. We don't know what everything's going to look like. We don't know what people are going to want to chase until it gets hit and then. Right. It could change my mind. You never know. I. I always do say that. Forever. Factions this year. So I think they. They kind of did that. What last year was. They did a Factions card last year. I believe they did. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh So this year it's the Judgment Day. The Heart foundation, the Ministry of Darkness, Damage Control, mft, the Vision, Latino World Order, Alpha Academy, the Nation of Domination and the Heenan Family. That's kind of cool. I like how they kind of do a good mix of pain in the ass when you're breaking because. Right. That's a lot of people on the card. Right. Those are all gonna get out of the wheel. Yu-Gi-Oh Those will be randomized. Yu-Gi-Oh Namesakes. Well, you haven't said if you're buying or not. No, come on, just get us a Stadium Club already. For sake. Yu-Gi-Oh I mean, listen, this I like, like I said, do I think this is a set for me? Probably not. Do I think it's a necessary set? Yu-Gi-Oh it's nice to have a lower end. Although I'm looking at some of the secondary price market pricing of this and I mean it's. People are. Are listing boxes on eBay for 300. Well, they're gonna sit then. I wouldn't pay 300 for this. Not even close. I get first year people are excited and they want to spend 3, 400 on this. But like, my God, not second year. And they haven't even shown us anything good. Yu-Gi-Oh I mean, listen, they're gonna be people that hit like some of the preview cards. I'm looking at the solar Gazaria dual relic, dual auto card is beautiful. It's out of 10. That's gonna do well. There's a Tiffany Stratton title marks her Zebra fractal or foil fracture 1 of 1. She like Drew butterflies and all over it like, Yu-Gi-Oh that's gonna do. Obviously big, but those are like, those are the, the marquee cards. Those are the big cards. Yu-Gi-Oh You know, 300. And my autos are Alicia, Taylor, Brooks, Jensen and I got a relic like, Yu-Gi-Oh I might as well have just taken 300 and burned it. Right. But again, I do think lower end product like this does have a place. I. I may be on an island here. I think I'd rather a traditional flagship set. I would too, honestly. Because at least you know that the designs are going to change every year. You're gonna get fun inserts and stuff to chase. You're gonna get, you know, the chance at autos or short prints, photo variations, case hits like, to me, give me a version of like top series one baseball with wrestling, make it 150 bucks and I'm all in on that. I don't know if I'm alone there. I don't know if wrestling collectors kind of want a little bit more than that. And I think this is. That's what Universe is. It's like flagship plus in a way where like the design is a little bit more than a flagship, but it's not as pricey as a chrome. So that's probably where they're kind of going with that. Yu-Gi-Oh maybe. Universe is. This is the new Flagship, in a way, in my opinion it is. Yu-Gi-Oh They just haven't branded it as that because I think flagship has a bad connotation or it gives people a bad taste in their mouth because it, it correlates with cheap and it doesn't have to. Yu-Gi-Oh it shouldn't. It's just a different. It's not a chrome set, it's not a high end set. Not everything has to be a thousand dollar boxes and you know, high end chase cards there, there can be cheaper, you know, rips for people to enjoy. So. Right. Yu-Gi-Oh The only benefit of this was it was still two autos and one relic for 125. I mean, that's right. TOPS hasn't really been doing that for like anything these days. No. In any sport or any. Or any IP. I mean even flagship products now are one auto and it's like 120 a box and it's not even a guaranteed auto. Right. It could be an order. Baseball, football is an auto or a relic. So. Yu-Gi-Oh true. You know, it's, it's. Should be a little thankful for that. Yu-Gi-Oh definitely. Yu-Gi-Oh This, this almost just felt like, oh, we gave you universe. Here's like the part two of that. Like that's what it felt like. Right. It's not like an extended set, not its own release. Yu-Gi-Oh And I think too it's, it gets hard because like, like you mentioned Stadium Club a couple of times and like we start seeing the previews of those cards and that's all we want. So now every time they announce something and it's not Stadium Club, we're just like, all right, I don't care. I just want Stadium Club. Right. You know, that's what I'm holding out for now. I may be holding out until 2027 at this point. Yu-Gi-Oh But that's still the set that I want. So, you know, it is hard but you know, I think I feel like you where one of these inserts that are in this set that we haven't seen yet, it may knock my socks off and I may want to collect it. I don't think that's going to be the case. But it might. And which case, then I'll collect it. But if not, I think I'm just gonna sit this one out, let everybody else enjoy it and then see what, see what's next. Yep.
