Not necessarily all guys that moved or were impacted during the recent MLB trade deadline, but more of a card impact at this point in time in the season to take a look at some baseball prospect cards. Did you hear that? As soon as I didn't hear it in my headphones, I was like, oh, no, this is. So I had to go in, reroute the audio, you know, so. So all you computer tech out there guys just know that us millennials don't always know what we're doing and we're just out here trying to do our best. I, I was sliding in sideways today, so I'm glad to be here. So I will say though, man, cards, it that like you said, it is my part time thing over the last couple Weeks though it has been my full time thought process. Oh, love that. Love hearing that. I just, I'm in a space right now where it's like my hobby Flipper page is like a dang golf course right now. There's greens everywhere, bro. There's greens everywhere. And I'm really excited about it. Yu-Gi-Oh let's go. It just seems like all the stuff that we're doing that we've prepared consistently for is, is really paying off. Me making a lot of smarter moves this year rather than, I think consistently doing the plays that aren't as risky has really helped me this year and so definitely had some, some losses this year for sure, but they've been marginal. Not my big plays. My big plays have been making good money and I've sold almost every quarterback card I have at this point. So football card selling season is officially here. Yu-Gi-Oh football card selling season is here. And I want to just piggyback on what you just said because I've noticed prices continue to go up for most cards and I think it's, I'll define most. I mean a lot of the cards that I've been looking at are like the goats, you know, the Jordans, the Kobe's, LeBron, of course, Ken Griffey Jr. I think it's actually a pretty short list. I think there's active guys, of course, like Shohei and Wemby that actually fall in that discussion. Not necessarily that, you know, that Wemby is a goat, but that their car, their card prices just continue to go up. And, and, and then there's guys, there's other hot players, right? There's hot players that maybe some of the younger quarterbacks like Caleb Williams, Drake May, etc. There's some of the, some of the base, some hot baseball prospects that we'll get into later on in the show. There's other NBA players that, you know, people are excited about other than just Wemby, of course. One of them. I'm going to, I'm going to talk about here in a minute that we all know. But timing is very important. I think timing, timing is the most important thing. When to buy and when to sell. And right now it's, it's the all time greats. And, and honestly, I think, I think it's really, I think it's a really short list. I think I kind of named all the guys. You know, I don't know, I don't know that you're going to find like other all time greats. Like, you know, we, we could go into like the Hank Aarons and the Willie Mazes and, and you know, other, other baseball all time greats. I don't know that you find their cards continuously going up. I mean, I'll be the first to tell you, I don't necessarily look at their cards all the time, but the all time greats that I've mentioned, Kobe, Jordan, LeBron, who's obviously still active, but he's on that list, then you've got like Ken Griffey Jr. Those guys cards like just continue to go up in value. A lot of the cards that we've talked about a lot on this show, it's, it's crazy to look back and say, okay, these are easily accessible base cards that have like doubled and you know, 1.5x, some of them even 2.5x in value depending on the card and the grade over the last year. And then there's some LeBron cards that I sold during the playoffs that are continuing to go up. And so I'm thinking, okay, does it make sense to try to get back into these cards? In what way, shape or form does it make sense to try to get back into these cards? What plays should I be making? And I think that to your point, there are some Zebra safe plays out there that just continue to make so much sense. And I want to continue to apply the lessons that we've learned over the last really five years. You know, the, the fifth year anniversary of the Sports Card Strategy show is coming up in about a month, which is crazy, but we've learned so many different lessons. And I think, you know, one lesson that we've learned is like when you hold say a Caleb Williams or a Jaden Daniels or a Drake May or even a Justin Herbert Jalen hurts like those Topps of guys in past week one of the NFL season, their value more often than not starts to go down quite a bit. And so, you know, that's why we're going to have that football card selling discussion here in a second, which I'm excited to kind of hear more from you. Okay, Lefty, I know one thing that's on everyone's mind before we, before we get into which cards and which players we're looking at buying and the lessons that we've learned and the wins that we're having and everything like that on today's show. Okay. Beckett announced Thursday, last Thursday, that they're pausing their base and standard level submissions until September 15th. I want to unpack this and talk about what it means and what people should be doing now based on this news. Because we started using Beckett about a year ago or maybe a little over a year ago, mainly for the PSA9 to BGS9.5 plays, but also for the trying to get BGS pristine Gold label and black label tens for some of the print on demand cards. So this does affect us for sure. But I want to just kind of unpack the news and again talk about what, what people should be doing now. And of course I'll have like a big high level takeaway at the end of everything. But before, before I launch into it, obviously you saw this. What, what was your initial reaction and then how have you sort of digested this over the last few days? I'm not surprised really. I think, I think I actually expected this to happen quicker because as soon, you know, like I actually saw a post the other day about how PSAs shutting off their, their value entries and things like that. There's. They took different people's takes on it in the hobby, like different influencers. And some people were like, oh, it's bad, you know, like it's just, you know, blah, blah, blah. Some people were saying it's actually increasing the price of slabs, which I agree with because they're scarce or there is a scarcity to some degree now. And then, then there was another guy that was like, there, this is just better off because people aren't submitting dollar cards. And I thought about that and I was like, well Yu-Gi-Oh but they're just submitting them to other places. So those people still are wanting to get grading done. I actually had a friend of mine reach out to me and said, hey, now that PSA vault is. Or now that their value submission is, is paused, where do I send these cards and it was like a bulk thing of 50 cards. And I was like, well, what value is it? You know, like. And I said, probably Beckett, but at the same time SGC is, is a good option. And I was talking to him through the different levels and I said, but I expect Beckett will probably soon stop their value grading submissions as well. I said this in a text and like three days later they shut him off and he texted, he. I actually found out because he texted me a picture of it and he was just like, dude, did you have inside information? And I was like, no. I just kind of expected it to probably happen considering they're owned by collector, but also knowing that if one value stopper is, is out there, people are going to continue to submit cards, they're just going to submit them to other places. And so I'd imagine the ramping of value submissions for BGS was going through the roof. And also BGS's value submission was actually fairly priced. It was way long out. Like it was like a 95 day turnaround or something like that. Mm. But it was like what, 17, 17 or something with subgrading. Yu-Gi-Oh that's right. Yep. You know, that's like, that's like $5 cheaper than PSA's value submission. So I didn't, you know, I think there was a bunch of people that were like, I don't care if it's 95 days out, I'd rather go with $5 cheaper if you're submitting 50 cards, you know, so it's interesting you mentioned that because you're right, that was very inexpensive. And I wonder, you know, I'm just kind of skimming the announcement one more time. Expected reopening is September 15, but they don't say anything about pricing. It says when services, when paused services return, availability will be managed on an ongoing basis and continue to align with incoming volume with processing capacity and protected estimated to protect estimated turnaround time. So it's interesting, like we've seen PSA obviously change their pricing. I wonder if Beckett will change their pricing. If it were me, I probably would strongly consider it. Just because again, to your point, like it would, it would deter some people from getting some Topps of cards graded. I will say, I think though, when they're back, like one-of-one PSA still be the, the value king unless they're cheaper? And I, and I did hear at the national from some reliable sources who claimed not to have inside information, but claimed to pretty much feel Zebra confident that this would happen, that PSA is expected to open up again on the services that are paused as early as like January 2027. And so if you think about Q1 2027, that's actually not that far away. I mean we, we should all be making plays that align with that time period right now. And so it's, it's really not, it's not that far away. So we could see like, I mean, just a few short months from now, we could have Beckett reopened, obviously, hopefully a month from now at, you know, maybe a different price point, but still have base and standard options. We could have PSA reopened. I would fully expect, even when PSA does reopen the bulk value and the, and the value, I would fully expect the turnaround times to be Zebra long still. Because I did also hear that the backlog at PSA has grown by over a million cards in spite of the pause. And so when I heard that. Is that just late mailing or what? No, I said, well, is it because to my source, I said, well, is it because of just people are just submitting at the regular level? And the source was like, Yu-Gi-Oh that's right. Oh Yu-Gi-Oh okay. I mean, I'm doing that. So Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh And we've, and we've like obviously at no off season and people who use the card analyzer and predictor tool, we, we're looking at cards individually and saying, okay. And in our rankings@noallseason.com like, okay, certain cards are going to qualify at a price point for regular and worse, making regular submissions regularly for our premium members and things like that. So Yu-Gi-Oh I'm not surprised. So my, my reaction, similar to yours, not surprised. Slightly bummed in that. And the only reason I'm slightly bummed is because I think what happens is that people who are newer to this don't want to continue because they, they're not sure. They don't realize that this is kind of normal. Like, we've been through this before. This is actually like a good sign. It forces all these grading companies to scale up to get things done more efficiently, hopefully faster, but also efficiently and accurately. Sort of re resets the market in a healthy way on a lot of things. Does it make slabs more valuable in the short term? Maybe to your point, does it make slabs more valuable in the long term? I would argue no, because there's this massive backlog. So I still think raw to grade is always going to be, you know, the, the biggest way to go here or the regrade strategy, but there's a lot of different strategies. So I'VE got a lot. I've got a lot to sort of put into, like, my total thesis here. But before I do that, I. So number one takeaway is this is not that big of a deal because we've seen it happen before. They've already given a date where they expect to reopen whether or not they hit that date. What. Whatever the pricing is. It's not like they're saying we're shut down indefinitely. We don't know what to do with ourselves. So it's pretty. Beckett. Beckett Beck. Yu-Gi-Oh Beckett has. Has. Has a date. They said September 15th. It's in their. Their news release. So you might see like, gloom and doom content out there about, oh, my God, hobby this or this or that or grading or whatever. Look, it's like not that big of a deal. It's like it's a business trying to figure out how to best serve their customers. The way that they've decided to do that is to say, look, we're just going to pause this. We expect to reopen in a month. And at the time of the announcement, it was like six weeks. September 15th. They've given an actual date. Literally. Their release on their website says September 15th. The other reason I don't think it's that big of a deal and I don't think no offseason.com premium members or anyone thinking of joining no offseason.com for this purpose should be scared is because the plays that we're making at Beckett are plays for guys that I've mentioned, like Kobe BRYANT, Ken Griffey Jr. Barry Sanders was one that I forgot to mention earlier. People are winning with the PSA9 to BGS9.5 strategy. Really, for the goats. A lot of Michael Jordan cards and. And guys that I've already mentioned. So it's not like we're sitting here going, I need my AJ Debance the card back right away from Beckett so that I can, you know. And now I'm screwed because of this strategy. No, in fact, we already told you probably fade those. Those NBA draft night cards because we knew this grading situation was happening. Like, we knew that the, the Mendoza and the Ty Simpson were probably going to be the last round of those kinds of print on demand cards until we get some sort of consistent return time for these. For these grading companies, really psa. But so the other reason why I don't think it's that big of a deal, and you've kind of already alluded to this, there are other grading companies that we can be using. We are pretty agnostic when it comes to, to what grading companies we use. We really just care about making money flipping sports cards. So we're not sitting there going, this has to be in a Beckett slab. This has to be in a PSA slab. Whatever we've had CGC Cards has been a sponsor of the show in the past. They're still a good option. I'm seeing more and more as I'm managing Hobby flipper and no offseason.com I'm seeing more and more sales for CGC slabs. I've got a submission of my F Men cards at SGC right now and I hope to have those grades back like any day now. So sgc, cgc. But also here's a new one. Lefty and I mentioned it on last week's episode from the national NBA. So Mike Baker authentication. We've added MBA as an option for no offseason.com premium members now. So if you want to grade, I mean first of all, you can still grade with PSA Regular. You can still grade with what's called BGS Express is still open. It's actually the same price as PSA Regular. So if you're not wanting to wait and you're wanting to submit any of those Griffeys or Kobe's or whatever, you can still do that through us. But also, you know, so you can still do psa, Beckett, sgc, cgc. But I said why not? Why not add Mike Baker Authentication? Two reasons. Number one, we've started to see the NBA sticker which has been around for a while. For those of you who don't know, Mike Baker was one of the, and I might get some of this wrong, but I think I'm, I'm pretty correct on this. Overall. Mike Baker was one of the first or one of the first best graders at psa. At some point in time he broke off and created his own company called Mike Baker Authentication mba. And so but what they have focused on traditionally is like these Yu-Gi-Oh appeal ratings that come in the form of stickers that go on slabs from other grading companies. So if you see say a Michael Jordan 1986 Flirty 57 card, go in and say a PSA 10 go for much higher than another PSA 10. Chances are it has an MBA sticker on it and it's really small. But it looks cool the way that it was this smart business move I think by Mike Baker to build his own brand this way. And they've, they've been known as sort of the Yu-Gi-Oh appeal experts and so from there, we've had other companies sort of try to do this Yu-Gi-Oh appeal thing. Well, Mike Baker Authentication also slabs and, like, grades cards and slabs. Them and their slabs look pretty cool. So I'm thinking, look, you know, I'm starting to see more sales for MBA slabs. So at Hobby Flipper, we plan to add other grading companies, some of the lesser ones, but also probably MBA in the near future because we're seeing more sales for those. So I think that could be a play. And the pricing and the turnaround time appears to be pretty reasonable and affordable. So, again, I think overall, Lefty, I'll give you a chance to give your thoughts on all of this in a second. But what this made me think of more than anything else is how many times have we talked about patience? Patience in making the play, completing the play, waiting on grading, waiting on maybe an already graded card that we bought to go up. It's almost. It's like a. It's a hurry up and wait game. You have to buy at the right time and then wait. You have to. You have to hurry and get something, integrating, and then you're waiting. You're waiting on an auction to end. You know, like, you have to have so much patience to make money flipping sports cards. I just want to. I just want to underscore one more time for our audience. And I'll keep doing this, but I probably do it once every six months. It's like the biggest thing you have to have is patience. So buying the players we want, which you have grown immensely in, by the way. Oh, thank you. Yu-Gi-Oh we used to joke. You're right. We used to joke back in, like, 2022 and 2023, like, for two full years, we used to joke about how, like, I had no patience. And. And honestly, that's when I wasn't making much money. Like, I was breaking even a lot. I was coming on the show. I mean, for those of you who don't know, this show has always been Lefty and I documenting our journey, and rightfully so. We. I kind of. I one-of-one speak for Lefty. I kind of sucked at first, right. And I would come on the show and just talk about, like, my losses because I was trying to learn how to do things the right way and make money. And for those two years, I mean, I was mid 2023 is when I really started winning, and I've developed a lot more patience. I think it's like, trusting the process. Yu-Gi-Oh it might be more trust rather than. I mean, like, patience is there for sure. But I think you're developing more trust that the sale is going to be there. Yes, exactly. The sale is going to be there. The prices are going to go up for the reasons that I think they're going to go up. I think I had a lot of fear of, oh, my God, I've spent 10 grand on sports cards in the last two months. I got to get some of that back whether or not I'm losing money or not. And now it's like, no, wait a minute. Like, this is. I'm going to make 200 bucks on this play. I just can't do it now. I have to do it six months from now. And so that's Right. So. But buying the players we want you buying, I think this doesn't affect it that much. And I kind of already hit that point. If, if you're taking risks buying younger lottery ticket type players, then I think you, like, you're likely going to need to pay more of a grading fee to get the card back quicker. Like, I don't think you can afford to wait necessarily. You're still gonna have to have patience. But I mean, if. We'll talk about this in a second. If you're going to make some Cooper Flag plays, I think you're gonna probably have to not buy Zebra inexpensive crap cards. I think you're gonna have to buy like a little bit more expensive cards and then that sort of justifies a larger grading fee. But that gets you the card back in time before he gets injured or before maybe he sucks in his second year and. And you can make money on that. So. So I think that's really my. My biggest takeaway is. But Lefty, what do you think before we. We move more into the. Into the Cooper Flag topic here? I think it's interesting. Like the Mike, the. The in the NBA discussion I think is interesting. I think I've known about his stickers for a long time. There's a guy that we conversed with quite a. Quite a bit that's like sold on the stickers, you know, and so it's like, that's where I first interacted with it. But pulled up his website and. And I can confirm that his website does say he was the first employee at PSA and serving as the grading director for over a. And he has apparently four to five generations, or what he would call decades of grading experience. So pretty cool. I. I don't know if I'm sold on going to an NBA slab just because, like, like we said, like, I don't want to. Oh, I don't want to have to convince somebody that it's worth buying. Yu-Gi-Oh Now I know that the sticker itself has some, look, some established sticker, has more of an established situation than the Slab. That's, that's a good point. I'm glad you, I'm glad you said that. But still, like with the sticker, it's like, man, I think sometimes they, those cards get looked at and don't even get realized that it's on there sometimes. So, you know, I asked Teapot at the national because he was actually the one who brought that up to me and because I was asking him about some more vintage basketball cards that I, that he and I both kind of liked. And, and, and I said, what would the play be for this? You know, and he's like, well, a lot of people are just submitting whatever cards to get that NBA sticker and then it's just automatically going up in value. And I was like, well, is that just for vintage? And he shared that he's seen a lot of cases where it's not just for vintage. It's like people just taking any, any old PSA slab and submitting it for a Mike Baker sticker and then you gotta, you got a value bump. And I don't, you know, I don't know. So I doubt that, I doubt that that's the case for cards that aren't desirable. I mean, I doubt if there's no. I mean, because you're creating scarcity. That's what you're doing with this. You're creating a level of scarcity on top of whatever level that slab's already at. You know, and if you have buyers that are willing to pay for said scarcity, then Yu-Gi-Oh it's going to sell for a bump. You know, if you're taking, you know, let's take this, this F men card that, you know, if you have AN F MIN SGC 10 and it's got a Mike Baker sticker on it, it's like, well, it's still just probably a hundred dollar or a couple hundred dollar card at the most, you know, like, that's not gonna be a card that I would submit for that NBA review. But if you got like, like I've been buying the heck out of these out of 75 mercury. I know, I, like, I saw your Instagram. So I'm excited to talk to you more about that. And I think that could be a card that could, could fall into that equivalency, you know, and in terms of like specifically the mercury set has a lot of different variations. So it's like what is the rarity element to that? You know and numbered is a good way to do that. But you know, one-of-one so Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh I mean I think there's a lot to talk about in the future with NBA stickers and I, I don't think it'll be too long before I try it and then report back. There's also a company that I probably will talk a little bit more about in the near future that is grading that is like, that is could be a nice pre grading play for premium members of no offseason.com and we're starting to see some sales of their pre graded cards and what they do is they, they one-of-one grade. Like if you submit them cards in bulk there's going to be a bunch of cards that they just don't grade. They're going to look at it and they're going to be like we're not even going to grade this. And it's basically like their way of saying this isn't even worth anyone's time and it's not worth your money. And then they don't charge you for those cards. They only charge you for the. Yu-Gi-Oh they only charge you for the cards that you are that are either gonna get that are valuable enough to grade at a grading company and that you're gonna get a seven, eight or nine on and then that's a certain color or I think it might be more like a 5, 6 or 7 on and that's one color sticker and then there's a 8, 9, 10 color sticker. So they're basically saying like we think and so it's faster that way. So they don't charge as much. They get it back to you quicker. And the other thing I like about it and don't worry everybody, more info to come on this company. The other thing I like about it is they're smart enough to give it back to you in a penny sleeve and card saver with their sticker on the card saver. So they're basically saying like wink wink. We're a pre grading company. Grade this now, grade this now. And don't grade these others which I think is Zebra smart. So we'll. That's foreshadowing to, to a potential announcement on the sports card strategy show coming in the future. But for now I want to. What do you think about this? I have one more NBA thing. Oh Yu-Gi-Oh So I have, I have not sold my Kobe 9 fives. Yet going up. You're so. I know I'm just like, oh man. Like where you know And I'm, I don't. I'm not trying to be like top of the market or whatever. I'm just like I know I can wait on those. Kobe's market is continually going up. I think I actually am. And debating just sending them to the vault and then like slowly selling them as I need capital maybe you know, like it's not something that's necessarily going to. I've already made my money back basically with the nines so I'm not really worried about it. And so what if I sent one of the not or 95 all subgrades to NBA? See that would be the kind of card that you would want an NBA sticker on I would think. I agree. I think that's smart that card. So for example and the reason why I got all excited when you brought that up that you haven't soldiers is because I shout out to Josh B. One of our premium members who's been with us for a long time. He's not the only one winning on this play but he got his grades back through us through no offseason.com from BGS on his Kobe's one got a 9 and the other got a 9 5. And I will tell you that and this is where I sort of go off on card show dealers with their offers. So as I was shopping around my personal Kobe Bryant 95 which had the same subgrade true gem mint, same same subgrades as Josh's, I was getting offers for like 680 cash which that's a good one-of-one I mean I was only like 200 into that card. But Josh's card on through our no off season sports cards ebay account, Josh's card sold for 1050 25. Yu-Gi-Oh So in the auction. So for those of you that are like I'm scared to auction off my cards, blah blah blah like no, no. A well timed ebay auction for the right card. So the total GROSS collected was 11.69.48. So that includes sales tax and shipping. What? What the total earnings after the sales tax, ebay transaction fees and shipping label to the buyer and this. So I consigned this for Josh which is another service that we provide. So for those of you I'll plug nooffseason.com again real quick for our premium members we will grade your cards. We will either ship them back to you or we will consign them for you. So Josh, this netted $893.51 for Josh. And so that's $200 more than the offer that the same exact card was getting at the National. And so it just, it goes to show you that I know a lot of you want to sell to dealers and get the cash and all that stuff, but that's. That's more than $200 more net selling through an ebay auction for the exact same card in the same week. So. And then Josh's nine also did very well. So Josh netted quite a bit on his nine. I just don't have that pulled up right now. But one-of-one what would. What were the subgrades of his thousand? $1. True. True gem mint. So all nine. Five. So all nine fives. Yep. And that was the same. Let's go, dude. I got two of those actually. So I found Josh. Yu-Gi-Oh exactly. So send it. I mean, I think it would be interesting to look at sending it into NBA. What would that fetch? I know that could be, I mean that it should be, I don't know, 1500? I don't know. But the thing is we should, we should say this real quick. So back to. So Josh's 9 netted 21111 after fees, it sold for 242.51. Yu-Gi-Oh So that's doing very well. Now back to your point about the NBA sticker. One thing we should clarify. We there. There are different grades on. On stickers obviously. So it would be an interesting like. So you're in theory your. Your true gem mint Kobe I would think would get one of the higher I upgraded Yu-Gi-Oh appeal stickers. But you never know. I mean, we don't know because we've never done it right. So I think we need to do it and figure it out. But I like it. I like it. So that's those, those are huge wins for. I had similar wins with my Kobe 95 and 9. Josh had wins. So that was a good time to put those in. We also had Frank, one of our premium members sent me a bunch of his cards to consign. And it was interesting because as I was going through his cards to consign, I noticed there were a bunch of Tarek Scubal cards. And so those did better during the trade news than they would have had I not had I consigned them earlier or much later. So that was a, a nice, nice one-of-one for Frank with the timing of the Terex Google cards. But we don't want to talk about him. We want to talk about Cooper Flag. So Cooper Flag lefty for those of you who don't know, we have an amazing feature@noallseason.com called the My Athletes feature. And the way that it works is you get to follow athletes. And what that means is you get the top auctions on ebay for those athletes essentially fed to you daily, and you can decide whether or not to bid on those auctions. Now, in theory, they pretty much coincide with our sports card rankings, but it's just a different way for you to get the ability to see what we think the top cards you should be bidding on are. And one guy that I've waited until this past week to add to the My Athletes feature, but I think it's time, is Cooper Flag. Yu-Gi-Oh and Lefty, I'll pass it over to you, but I think. I think you can kind of give the audience a little bit of information on why I may have waited until now to add Cooper Flag. Yu-Gi-Oh I think we haven't added Cooper Flag because one of your big takes was all of his cards aren't out yet. Like, you were just like, it's, they're not out yet. They're not out yet. You know, like we were still dealing with rookie card print runs that were coming from print on demand stuff. We were still waiting for different releases to come out. Topps Chrome specifically was something that we were waiting on. And we've seen that come out. We've seen cards to some degree go nuclear as well, you know, so people would be like, oh, why have you waited? Why have you waited? And it's like you could have been at the forefront of this Cooper market. And it was like, Cooper's market is really just starting. Like, think about if we said, okay, wimbey is only going to be investable from 2022 to 2023 or whatever it was, if those were the right years. And then we stopped investing in wimby. That was just the start of it for us. I think this is. Again, well, this isn't just the start of it for us because we've been investing in Cooper in different ways for a while and we've made great plays on Cooper already. But there has been a lull where we have Beckett off of Cooper for the last at least eight, nine months at least. And we made some small raw to grade plays in terms of the print on demand stuff in season last year. At least me and Turner did. I don't know if Paul did. And so it was just like that was there. But we knew that there was going to be a time release on that where eventually we would be all in on moving towards Cooper. And I'm Zebra glad to hear this as well, because, like, I remember I said my Hobby Flipper has been like a golf course. Yu-Gi-Oh Why all the while, like a golf course? The green everywhere. There's green is everywhere. And Turner and I were kind of just talking shop, and he's like, dude, what are you going to do with all this capital that's growing in? Like, I have in the past, and I had. I have like, I don't know, maybe three or four grand worth of sales in the last two weeks. So it's like, okay. Which is a lot for me personally. Like, some people, that's one card. But for me, that's like, that's a good portion of my portfolio, which you can go check out on Hobby Flipper if you'd like. It is public, but for me, it's like, okay, what do I need to move that into next? I moved into a big Shohei at the National. I actually had a friend of mine buy a card at the national for me, which was pretty cool. Didn't expect that as a Shohei card. But I also was like, I think Cooper, I'm buying, obviously, a lot of wimby. We talked about that briefly a second ago. But I'm moving from my football cards into something different. And I'm not buying more quarterbacks right now. And at the same time, I'm not buying a ton of baseball cards right now because they are in season and they're, you know, and we'll talk about that in a minute. So it's like, for me, it's basketball and who am I looking for? For me, I'm looking at Cooper Flag and Luka Doncic, and that's what I'm trying to figure out, where I'm moving my money into outside of WIMBY or Kobe, you know, who knows? Maybe I just keep going there, repeating the Kobe play. Maybe I just keep doing that. Well, per usual, we're pretty aligned on this without even really having having aligned on it. We haven't really even talked about this, but I. I've been repeating the Kobe play quite a bit in terms just speaking basketball now, because I do think, and this will. This will go nicely into our selling football cards discussion. I do think now is the time to look at what basketball plays make sense to make. It's August 10th as we're recording this, which means. And I. I said at the beginning of the. The show, it's fantasy football season, so you're opening up espn, you're opening up, you know, Bleacher Report, whatever, however you get your sports news, whether you know the same thing with like on Instagram or TikTok or whatever, you're looking at those media outlet pages, right? And or other other things in your algorithm. And what you're seeing right now is you're seeing fantasy football, football highlights from training camp, the NFL preseason is here, all those different things. And so what that should indicate to you is it's time to move out of those investments and we'll talk specifically about that in a minute and move into what's next, which Lefty and I are aligned on this Cooper flag and Wemby and Lefty saying Luca I think is brilliant because he's another I think narrowing your focus to the top guys in the sport make a ton of sense. And so let's like if we just keep the discussion focused on Cooper for a minute. You nailed it. I mean the reason why it's time to add Cooper to the My Athletes feature@noallseason.com the reason why I'm I've already added most of Cooper's significant cards have been in Hobby Flipper since we launched Hobby Flipper back in July. But I just added the Topps Chrome Update Cooper Flag cards into Hobby Flipper. And the main reason why I think it's important to discuss this is because whenever there's a new release that comes out, the prices for that new release are always at their highest for the next several months, especially the next several weeks. So this then in turn makes the previous releases prices more attractive to people like you and I and the listeners of this show and the members of Nooffseason.com and Hobby Flipper who know who are smart enough to know when to buy and when not to buy certain singles. It is not time to buy this new Topps Chrome update release singles, even though they do look phenomenal. Yu-Gi-Oh I love it. I do believe it is time to take a look at buying some of the Topps Chrome Zebra Edition releases of the 251 card that's already been out for a while and then the other refractors and variations of the other refractors from the original Topps Chrome release because now we're several months removed from from those new releases. But we're at a point where we need to be able to make some of these moves and get them back from grading in time to sell them during the end of October or the beginning of the basketball season. And because it's Cooper Flag Even if we don't make them, even if we don't get them back until January, February, what have you. Hopefully we're in a situation where Cooper's prices continue to go up. But really what we're trying to do, what I'm trying to do, Lefty, and what I want to emphasize to everyone out there is what I think. What I think I'm trying to do is what I did with Paul Skeins a couple. A couple years ago, which was pair a RAW to Grade one-of-one with a performance spike. When you can do that, that's really where you make the most money. But even, even still, even if you. Even if I don't pair it with a performance spike, I still want the RAW to grade wins. I'm really. This is really a RAW to Grade play for me more than it is go buy a Cooper Flag card and hope that Cooper Flag has an amazing. I'm not sitting here saying that I think Cooper Flag is going to be a great basketball player. That's not. And I'm not. I'm completely uninterested. I know you already know this, Lefty, but other people don't. I'm completely uninterested in having a debate about how good Cooper Flag is going to be. What I know is there's still a ton of hype around Cooper Flag and I want to capitalize around that hype. But I want to count more on the Raw to Grade wins of it and I'm willing to pay that PSA regular fee to get there. So what cards are you looking for? The Topps Chrome Zebra Edition 251 base, I think is. Is a, is one that I'm interested in. And that's not cheap, you know. But also there are, you know, the, the cards that show up Highest in the nooffseason.com Raw to grade rankings for Cooper Flag. So if you go to no offseason.com and you go to the RAW to Grade rankings, you can just type in Cooper and Cooper Flag, obviously, and it's going to pull up the top return on investment plays. So just even the, like, I mean, I'll just tell you, like, the top Blue Ice the Topps Chrome Refractor 251. It's an average raw price of 241.13 and it shows an ROI of 88.43%. So you know, the Zebra Edition base that I talked about is the number nine Cooper Flag RAW to Grade play. It's got a slightly higher gem rate, but it's a more expensive card. So the gem rates 55.1. It's 906.50, which is more than what I bought it for a couple well, maybe about a month ago. And why I'm interested in that fact too is if I don't get a PSA 10 then for a card like that, I can crack it out and sell it RAW still for a profit. But there's actually 21 total Cooper flag cards@no offseason.com that show a significantly positive ROI for the for this RAW to grade. So if you want any more, any more suggestions, you got to be a premium member at no off season. But those are the, those are my top two. There you go. Yu-Gi-Oh I think what I was trying to get at is we've said don't buy the Topps Chrome yet, but still the numbers are fairly okay on it right now if you're getting that that fast Turnaround. Yep. I think, and I think that's why I wanted to talk about it on today's show is because I think with the update, with the Topps Chrome update release having just come out now, we're in a situation where it does make sense to go back and buy the Topps Chrome singles. Yu-Gi-Oh I think that's the strategy here. And I but I, but I hope everybody like listens to that carefully who doesn't know exactly what I'm talking about. Because really the premise here is you don't want to go in and buy the new release singles. You sure as hell don't want to go buy the new the wax for the new release or the buy into breaks for the new release, but you want to go back to the older releases and buy the singles there in auctions. That's exciting. We talked about this a couple of months ago on the, on the, on the sports card strategy show where I brought in and I talked about Jackson Darts Downtown and I was like, all right, I'm. There's reasons I'm pursuing this. I'm not worried about how good he's going to be. I just think the hype around it's going to be good. Ended up getting a 10 on a raw to grade Jackson Dart Downtown. Sold that for. I actually took the PSA offer for it. I didn't even wait for like that's how much margin I had. I was like, I don't have to worry about if this is going to sell for a price that I like. I'm going to get fees all the way down to it. I'm just like, this is so good. I'm taking this money right now right in front of me. And with the instant sale still $520 of profit, 53.1% profit margin. So I think that's really cool because people want to know all the different possibilities of what plays to make. And that was actually one of the things that really got me into doing this podcast early on, almost five years ago now, was I was listening to some other podcasts, and they would. They'd have like a play of the week segment, and it was all. It was all cool stuff, but it wasn't really repeatable. It was like I had this feeling about this tennis player that might do something, and then they did it. And then, like, I had this feeling about this soccer player, and they did it. And like Lefty, I mean, you remember we used to. That used to be a lot of what we would talk about is sort of like prospecting in different areas. And then that's where we were really, I think, breaking even or even losing slightly, because it's just so hard to do. Now we're in a situation where it's like we know pretty much what's gonna work and what's not gonna work, but it's still fun to look at what's working for everybody else. So that's. When you filter by sold date, March 6, 2027. You have already sold a Bryce Underwood gold foil in March 2027. Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh they put in the wrong date. That should have been March 2026, I bet. March 2026. Yu-Gi-Oh You know, I wonder what his most recent sales have been. I don't think. I don't think Bryce Underwood's gonna be that valuable in, In March. Let me, let me adjust that actually. Here it is right here. So I'm gonna go. And it's a good profit. And. Yu-Gi-Oh I see that. Okay, good call. March 2027. So I'm gonna go back March 2026 and change that. That is not a future sale. And there we go. So that's. That's human error. And, and that's why I was showing up as, as the number one on my. In my flips. It was the top one because of the. Okay, so it's originally organized by the most recent sale. Okay, cool. So speaking of the most recent sales, actually, good segue. Fernando Mendoza. So I've already made some Fernando Mendoza sales. Last week. I got 10 cards back from BGS two were pristine tens gold labels and the rest were BGS nine fives. That's so cool. The BGS nine fives have have. Some of them have started to sell for as high as $65. Some are selling for as low as $40. But the real reason we make that Blue Ice to try to go after the BGS either pristine 10 gold labels or Black Label pristine tens. And so while I did not get a black label, I got two gold labels. The one gold label sold for total net profit of $121.14. So the actual sale amount on eBay was 177. What ends up happening, and you'll know this if when you use Hobby Flipper is the total sale price will include all that you collect. But then the total take take home price will. You'll put in the fees. Right? But then also whatever you bought the card for and the grading fees that you paid will be subtracted from that. So the total ROI was 149.76%. So what I'm kind of doing right now just for the sake of time, not like boring you with all the sales on this card is it basically looks like the. Probably about half of the nine fives that I've sold so far are about at a break even. The other half might be a little bit of a profit. 110 that sold so far I've already netted. And then the other one is up on auction right now that's doing very well. I then over the weekend received my five Mendozas that I submitted to PSA in the believe it was called like a max value 15 level or something like that. one-of-one it was a little bit more expensive to get them back quicker. I accepted offer, so I got three nines and two tens. I accepted offers from PSA on the nines and netted $40 on each of those total net. So the grading fee was 45 and the car so that that was the level. So I paid. So you're like 60 or 50. 54.99 into each card is what I have. And then 90 accepted offers of 94.21 per card. So total net profit of 3,922 per PSA 9. The other the two PSA 10s I have on auction right now. Lefty, I will tell you this. According to our card analyzer and predictor tool@nooffseason.com look at the Mendoza sales here. So there's one, one sold for $510. Yu-Gi-Oh Yesterday. But the others in PSA 1023-5229-2292-0750 and then a bunch that are at 199 in the PSA 10. So my auctions and I, I just started them last night. One's already at 135.50 with six days left and one's at 85 with six days left. Six days and eight hours left. So I don't know if I'm going to come in at the 510 mark, but hopefully I'll come in at the, you know, at least the 235 mark and then it'll be. I'll have a full report later. But the F men definitely a one-of-one so far. Yu-Gi-Oh my, my F mins are still at SGC. I sold all of. I sold 10 of mine raw and 10 of them went to SGC and I don't see any SGCs out there yet. So I guess I. And I think you're. You said you were. I have 20 at SGC that I'm waiting on still. Yu-Gi-Oh So there's not any that I've seen so far that SGC has not released any of them yet, which is kind of nice. That's encouraging, you know, that there's not people getting SGC sales without us having the availability to do so. I would imagine we got ours in dang near as fast as possible, you know. So, Yu-Gi-Oh hopefully we're on the front end of those SGC plays too. Absolutely. Now, moving into the football card selling strategy. So. And I did, I did warn you all that this was going to be in more love for Hobby Flipper, but this is the reason why we built the tool. It's so good though, bro. I mean, it's so good. Thank you. It's definitely the best tool we've ever made. I would agree with you on that. So when I go to my portfolio, all I have to do is click category football and then it basically shows me whether or not I should be listing my football cards for sale. And this is what I want everybody to do because I think most people will tell you, oh, you should sell all your football cards at the end of August. Well, we don't love blanket statements here on the sports card strategy show or@noallseason.com, because what if your football cards aren't the right ones to be selling at the end of August? What if you have an extremely valuable Josh Allen card and you know, your X amount into it and if you sold it at the end of August, you'd lose money. Right? Like, but if you held it later when it actually goes up in value, then you're going to make a lot of money. And so that's what Hobby Flipper helps you do when you manage your portfolio by putting all your cards in accurately. And then you get sell alerts at the time when it makes sense to sell the cards. So, for example, I'm looking at cards that are on the verge of sell alerts for me. Jaden Daniels, Optic Hollow 2020 PSA 10s. I've got a couple of those that I'm about $125 into each. Justin Herbert, Optic Hollow 2020 PSA10s. I've got three of them. Those, all five of those cards are up in value, but they're not quite up in value enough to where I'm actually netting a, a good enough profit. Like, would I maybe NET Literally like $2 each? Sure. But my question to Lefty is, and I had a thought about this while I was at the National, I think that the way that we've sort of honed in on our strategy over the last couple of years, where now we're looking at more established players and, and they're more established cards and we're not taking as many like penny stock risks or lottery ticket risks, I think that these Topps of cards are actually potentially my new lottery tickets. Because what I'm realizing is, and I've got another good example, I've got two Joe Burrow, Optic Hollow 2020 PSA 10s and I bought them all as PSA 10s and I think that's critical to this discussion because I didn't do anything to alter them as a product. Basically I was trying to buy low at a dip and then sell during a hype rise. The burrows are up as well. Like I could, if I sold all seven of these cards right now, I would make money, but I would probably only net $50 on seven cards. So my question to you is, do I go with the traditional sell all your football cards in August, at the end of August in auctions and net the $50 or do I consider these my new lottery tickets and do I hold these or hold some of these in case one of these quarterbacks has an MVP type season kind of early on, and then maybe their, their card, we have seen their card prices go up due to performance spikes. So I'm kind of, I'm kind of thinking. And then the, the fourth player here that I think is also very intriguing is Patrick Mahomes. I currently, if I just go filter by Mahomes in Hobby. There's another reason why I love Hobby Flipper. Just go filter by Mahomes. I've got. I'm holding six Patrick Mahomes cards right now, and I could sell. I could sell all of them and make a. Make a total net profit of probably close to $300. Or I could again sell some of them. Hold. Hold some of them. So I think I kind of know what I would say, but. But what? What do you think? Well, I'm actually in the same boat I was. So earlier this year, I was buying PSA10. I bought two PSA10s and I bought a CGC10 and I bought a BGS9. Five of the Lamar Jackson Panini Donruss Optic helmet on. And so I spent, according to hobby flipper, around 170, 180 bucks a piece on the PSA 10s. Those are like, I'm getting ebay offers for these right now. Like, ebay's offer is at like 205. So I'm making like, I don't know, 10, 15, 15 bucks a card. Now. Are you getting, Are you getting offers from psa? No or. Yes. Sorry, yes. Yu-Gi-Oh I said ebay. I meant PSA. So my PSA offers are around 2, 205 and so. And I've actually taken a couple of these because I think I had four and I'm down to two. So I've sold off two of them as basically breakevens because I thought going into August, Lamar Jackson would have a lot more hype than he's had right now. And so I'm like, okay, well, I will. It didn't happen like I thought it would, but there's still a really decent chance that Lamar Jackson has a good season again. You know, he's perennially in the, in the MVP race. Like, they've got new coaching staff, he's got weapons around him. So I like the possibility of him having a good season. I am much more comfortable at this stage in our, in our. In what we do in this stage, holding a $200 Lamar Jackson card. Even if it doesn't pop, then I would be prospecting on a Zay Flowers numbered that I'm trying to, you know, like, which is what you've. What you've been saying. This is now my lottery to ticket. If Lamar Jackson goes out and is destroying in the first month of the football season because his new coaching staff and all sorts of stuff and you know, all that, then this card is not going to be worth 205. It's going to be worth a lot more than that. Yep, exactly. And so I think I'm right there with you. So a couple different thoughts. One is if you're out there and you've got Drake May, you've got Jackson Dart, you've got, you know, Cam Ward and other other similar type names, now is probably a really good time to move off of those guys. Even like Caleb Williams, even maybe like Jaden Daniel. I'm kind of in a similar boat with Jaden Daniels where I'm down on some other Trevor Lawrence, a lot of those guys. If you, if you are, I think you want to be using a tool like Hobby Flipper to understand what am I into this card for? What's the current market value of this card? Let me get a sell alert right now. If you're, if you're, if you're holding. We've had premium members of no offseason.com submit to our card analyzer and predictor tool cards for guys like Malik Neighbors, cards for guys like other other wide receivers and running and like even some running backs. Now is the time where you want to, in the preseason when those Topps of players do something, you want to list those cards. You also want to list those cards. If, if, if you're, if any of your position players that aren't quarterbacks do anything at all in week one or week two, you want to get rid of those cards. And I mean, when I say list them, I mean list them in auctions because you want to get, you might get lucky and you might get a huge return on those cards considering what you paid for them. But beyond a shadow of a doubt, you're gonna get the most return for them regardless of what you paid for them. If you're selling, if you're selling those Topps of cards, meaning not your top quarterbacks at the end of August or at the very, very latest, like going into week two. Right. So I think that there's different football card selling strategies back to what, back to the type of cars that Lefty and I were talking about. I'm going to take a page out of my Anthony Edwards book here because what I did with Anthony Edwards last year, almost around this, this same time period, like August and September a year ago, I bought A total of five Anthony Edwards Prizm Silver PSA 10s from 2020. Most of them were, most of them I bought in September, some of them in August, and they were all around 850, none more than $880 in eBay auctions I sold two of them during the NBA playoffs for basically a break even in auctions. I kept the other three and I kept them lazily listed on ebay in a Buy it now, not even with the best offer, but as a Buy it now for eleven hundred dollars. Lefty in the last week I have sold two of them in Buy it now. And so that has netted me over $200 total in net profit for those two cards. That's great and I'm Zebra happy about that. So while that card may end up selling for over eleven hundred dollars sometime during this next basketball season, just strictly leaving them up as a Buy it now is not a bad strategy because I have now again netted over $100 total on each of those two cards. Really? And those are the top two sales. Like those are the top two sales of that card were me just leaving it up as a Buy It Now. So I think what I'm going to do with many of many, if not all of the cards that I just mentioned from a football standpoint is get them listed in a Buy it now right now at a price that makes sense to where I'm making the profit that I want to make, but it's not egregious in terms of what the recent comps have been. And then all I need to do is flip them to auctions whenever I feel like I need to flip them to auctions. What do you think of that? I love that. I mean, it's not hurting you to do that, you know. So it's like I've sold two cards this week that I've had on Buy it now on PSAs, so they've been in my vault, but I just put them up as Buy It Now. I've sold two of them this week and not for Best Offer accepted. They've just been binned. So. And one of them was a Aaron Judge Thomps Chrome and the other one was a Patrick Mahomes optic PSA 10. So he's talking specifically about a card that he's sending in for me to crack and submit. Can't wait to update Hobby Flipper when it comes back from grading. So there was a quick story actually going along with Mike Lefty that I wanted to just quickly let everybody know about. It's kind of a public service announcement. The psa, when you submit to psa. And again, you don't need to worry about this if you're going through no offseason.com for your submissions, but there is a Lefty, you'll be familiar with this. There, there's a submit to the vault, there's a ship on your own. So this is, this is when you're ending your PSA submission. They give you three different options for how to return your cards to you. There's a submit to the vault, there's a ship on your own, and then there's a third option which is like use a FedEx account. And I've never used the FedEx account, I've always shipped on my own. And so the. Oh, I'm sorry. You know what, I'm sorry I messed up one little thing. This is when you're shipping your cards to psa, it's not shipped to the vault, it's submit at a show. Okay, so it's submitted a show ship on your own and then. Or use a FedEx account. Apparently, according to Mike, there's a. If there's an option within the use of FedEx account to have PSA generate a FedEx label for you using their account that then you pay them for. Which would make sense if you don't have your own like business FedEx account. So if that is in fact true, what Mike saying happened to him, I Don't doubt what Mike saying happened to him. I just might be a little off with the details of how I'm getting there. Mike had a PSA grading submission lost on its way to PSA lost by FedEx after selecting the use a FedEx account. And the reason why he can't get the cards unstuck from the FedEx location that they're currently at is because it was shipped using PSA's FedEx account. So he can't retrieve it. PSA has to. It has to be PSA that retrieves it. And good luck getting them to do anything. I have a. I have a really concerning PSA story right now, if you want to hear that. I would love to hear it. So this is actually something that's pretty valuable for our. For our content right now. We're doing a lot of clicking that regular submission piece at when we're winning. Good. EBay auctions, correct? Yep. Here's a caveat. EBay. You're talking about the e. You're talking about the PSA grading option at checkout on ebay. Okay, yes. Which. Which is like cards over $250, which I just. Actually, I just believe that they just moved it down to $200, which is good. I think that's correct. But an auction, you one-of-one or a buy it now that you one-of-one you can. You can click go immediately into grading, and then it'll send it to grading for you from the buyer or. Yu-Gi-Oh from the seller. So I had a situation. There was a card that was listed as excellent, and I reached out to the seller and I said, why is this excellent? Is there anything that I need to know other than what I can see in the pictures? They said, I put excellent on every card because I'm tired of, like, people being like, oh, this wasn't near mint. And he goes, I do excellent on everything to give me margin if there's anything wrong with the card. He's like, I'm tired. I'm tired of that. And I was like, fair. I probably would recommend doing the same thing to people. So I ended up buying it because he said, no noticeable damage. No noticeable anything. I said, okay, I send it to grading immediately from ebay for, like that the grading regular 49.99 or whatever was. This is a Downtown Jaden Daniels. So I spend, you know, multiple hundreds of dollars on this card. Send it to ebay or send it to PSA. I get the grade back from PSA, PSA 5. Immediately furious. Because I'm like, okay, this somehow Passed authentication or. Or that it did level itself as an excellent card, but then got a PSA5. I reached out to the. The seller. They said, what am I supposed to know about who grades what card, what number? I was like, that's a chalk response. And you know it is. But I'm like, but, okay. So I reached out. But just real quick, did you expect actual good response from the seller? I thought maybe he would be a nice guy. He was not. Fair enough, fair enough. But I knew. I knew that if I was going to get anywhere with ebay, they were going to say, you have to reach out to the seller first. So I knew I was going to have to reach out to him. I said, I'm opening a ticket, you know, blah, blah, blah. And I was like, I just thought you should know. And he was like, never said anything back. So I opened up a ticket with ebay. Nowhere. Wasn't able to get anywhere. Got on the phone with ebay. I'm on the phone with ebay, which was awesome. I've never done this before. And the lady's like, okay, well, this is actually PSA's problem. I said, I knew you would say this. I'm gonna call PSA and they're gonna say, this is ebay's problem, and it's going to be caught in the middle. Because actually, when you submit something straight to grading from psa, it actually does not go through the ebay guarantee policy. It goes straight to PSA for authentication, but it does not go to an ebay listing. This is exactly what you pay for. So ebay has a problem. They have a hole in the system right now. I am currently trying to say, you have a problem that I have been exposed by for multiple hundred dollars. What are you going to do about it? They said, you need to reach out to psa. I said, they're not going to say anything. And she said, well, you do have to reach out to PSA before I can do anything else. I said, so you're saying once I reach out to psa, they don't do anything. I'm going to come back to you? And she said, yes, we'll try to make this right. Okay. So I said, can you send me that in a transcript? And she actually did send me an email saying that we've had a conversation and that I was going to talk to psa. So who knows where this is going to go from here? I don't have the end goal represented, but what I do know is if our cards are not labeled correctly, on the ebay listing, and you are sending them straight to grading. Just be cautious. You can be burned. Because, like, I think we have. I think we have. With the authenticity guarantee or with the. The way that they put it, I think, is the listing guarantee or something like that. Like, it has to be listed in the exact way that it's been described. And so I said, ebay, I know that you're not in control of a PSA 5, but you would also not say that that is an excellent card that's going in as a PSA 5, would you not? And she was like, yes, we would say, have to agree with you on that. And I was like, because that's not an excellent card. That would be good. Fair, maybe. Yu-Gi-Oh And I said, so there's been a problem here where that listing said, excellent. You are outsourcing. What? You've said that you are insourcing. You've outsourced it, and now you're liable. Yes, I agree with you. And the other thing, too, that's interesting about this is that there's some inconsistencies, because I believe both of us, in the past at least, I have had experiences where ebay has contacted me in this situation and said this would pass our authenticity guarantee. But we see that you have paid for the grading at checkout, and we believe that it would not. I don't believe they wouldn't. They wouldn't have ever said, like, what they think it would grade. But they gave me some verbiage that led me to believe that it wouldn't grade well. And then they gave me the option to handle just a refund right there and then that they would send the card back to the. See, this is hogwash. Yu-Gi-Oh So I ha. But now, that was very early on in this I statement to me last week. Yu-Gi-Oh Was that they don't. They. They're like, we send it straight to psa, and PSA does that. And they probably do. But I'm. I guess what I'm saying. So I'm agreeing with you that there's some inconsistencies in experiences here with customers. Right. Like, I've had. I've had inconsistent experiences because I've had experiences more similar to your PSA5, but then I've also had experiences better than your PSA5. And so. But what I do. What I do want you to do here is let. Let me know how this goes and give me all the documentation of it if it doesn't get resolved in a favorable way to you, and I will give it to the people at ebay that I have interviewed on this show who have talked to me about this, and I will just give them this information and say, look, this is what happened. What do you guys think? All right, and we'll see what happens. Here's. Here's. I think that this needs to be Certified in some way. If you're gonna send this clip. Stop the clip now, because what I want, I want to say ebay. Stop listening. Stop listening. Ebay. What I want. What I want to also point out is my Jaden Daniels Downtown raw value is up 200 from where I bought it. So I could. I. I literally have already sent this lab back to myself. I could just crack it right now and post and post better pictures of it and probably sell it for a profit. Well, I don't think ebay would be mad if you do that. I think ebay just wants you to be happy. Honestly, I'm not just saying that. I think everyone at ebay wants us all to be happy, and I think they do a really good job at that. I agree. I think your PSA5 is a horrible case of something getting lost in the process somewhere that shouldn't have happened. So I agree with you, and I would. I would think that everyone at ebay that I know personally would. Would 100% agree with you on that, which is why I think ebay said, go to psa. You have to do that. If they can't do anything, come back and we will try to make this right. Yu-Gi-Oh that sentence alone, I was like, I really feel like she's telling me the truth. Yep. So we'll see where it goes. I mean, you relaying it via telephone just now, I. I get that feeling as well. So graded cards, 5516 says I have. I will never send in a card for grading without having the card in my hand and being able to look at it over well myself. I mean, I have had great wins doing this as well. Me too. That my Jackson dark, your Jackson dart, and my Jaden Daniels that we just talked about a minute ago. I, I, it was a P. And so again, like, and, and I think it makes sense. I, I'm. That's why I'm glad we. We tell these stories too, because there are people that will be like, Paul. Yu-Gi-Oh no fear monger possible to blah, blah, blah. No, it's not. It's. This is what I have done for the last five years. I have figured out a way, lefty, too, to buy cards online on ebay with in many cases, never even looking at them and make money raw to grade, regrade, whatever. Now the regrade that I crack, yes, of course I look at them. But we always really. I would say there have been maybe, maybe two times out of the thousands of sports cards that I've flipped where I haven't completed the play. Like, I think I've, I have looked at cards and I've gone, that's not going to grade well. And it still goes in the grading submission. Now I don't really do that much anymore, but that's completing the play to me. So. Okay. All right, a couple of guys that we've added to Hobby Flipper this week that we'll talk about here in a second, but I'm going to hand it over to Lefty Top prospect movement at the trade deadline and card impact. This is Lefty show. Take it over, my friend. Yu-Gi-Oh I think so. Paul reached out to me last week and said, hey, trade deadline was pretty cool. There's a lot of stuff going on. There's, there's been movement in prospects that usually means that there's something we need to pay attention to. Can you kind of develop some stuff for Monday's show? And I was like, oh, absolutely. And then my first. So let me just say, like, where I broadly started at that, where I broadly started was there is not a prospect that was moved at this deadline that I felt like from a card perspective had to be discussed. So I think there, there, there are some guys that I'm going to talk about that were moved at the deadline. Three of the four guys that I'm going to talk about were moved in particular trades at the deadline. The one there is another guy that I'm going to talk about that I think has just entered a window that we've been waiting on that I know is another important thing to what we do here@noallseason.com. so I just want to take the caveat that probably the best prospect that was moved in any trade is River Ryan probably. And he's a pitcher that was, that was moved over. And so that is, that's not Relevant to us really. So the guy I want to talk about first is actually not in any of our trade discussion that we are, that we're going to talk about. So I know a lot of people pronounce his name a lot of different ways, but I'm pretty sure it's Jesus made. I think some people say Maday, some people say Maddie, some people. So I. People say Maddie. Yu-Gi-Oh Who are those people? There's just, there's a lot of confusion, I think, and speculation around how to say his name, but I believe don't know how to say his name either. Yu-Gi-Oh I think it's Jesus made. Jesus made is what we're rolling with here. Yu-Gi-Oh maybe if you can Google, while I'm talking, exactly how to pronounce his name. But I believe it's. I used to say Jesus ma day and I think, I think I was saying it wrong. So we are in a good position, I believe now, according to. Sorry to interrupt after all of that. Is it, Is it Maddie, matey? Well, this is according to somebody on Reddit, so who the hell knows? This could be just. When you go into, when you type, you go to Google and you type how to pronounce Jesus mate. The Yu-Gi-Oh overview pulls something from Reddit and it says it's pronounced Jesus, mate. Yu-Gi-Oh see, I actually don't think that's how it's pronounced, but we'll just go with that for now. Okay. I meant to go look at some minor league footage from Maid to Mad. We already switched it. It doesn't even matter. Just Jesus. Jesus. Exactly. Jesus here has a card that I think is entering a window here for us that is a viable window. This guy has been in circulation for us for a while. As you can tell from the screen, it is a 2025 Bowman Chrome Prospects card. So this guy has had cards out for a while. And the good thing about prospecting and what Paul and I have learned over the years is baseball cards specifically, we get access to players that we will want to buy way too early. Like we get access to their cards incredibly early. And we actually, like, we struggle if we buy cards way down the Runway because we are locking up money that we will make like that it will eventually go up. And Roman Anthony is a great example for, for this. I bought Roman Anthony maybe a year and a half to two years before he was sellable. That doesn't really fit in our 90 day window policy right now. Right. But if we want to get better about making baseball prospecting plays, which is why we have Beckett off of some of the baseball prospecting parts of our shows is the runways are so long for guys that are hot at the moment. You kind of have to buy them when their Runway is shorter. So Jesus here, or Jesus or Mr. Maid or however we want to say it is, he is entering a window that I believe he's buyable. I think over between now and December is a good time for us to buy this card specifically because this one also can be a raw to grade purchase. Now we're getting a raw purchase amount of $375 ish on this card. Some of them are going for a little bit more than that when they're truly centered. Well, but the, the regular grading fee can be applied to this card. It, it would also probably be flagged by the time December and January comes around, but maybe have an upcharge of over $400 value. But this is a card that I wanted to talk about specifically because it's, it's accessible right now. Plus it fits into our immediate grading strategy which is what we have been saying is something we're trying to do more regularly now. I mean I've sent, I just cover my own stuff and I have sent over 10 cards over the past month in regular grading. You know, so we are still sending cards in and I know that Paul's doing cards for everybody, so his numbers are a little bit different than that. But we're still doing regular submissions all the time. So Jesus is an obvious investment. He's the number one prospect in baseball. He's not a mid tier guy. This guy is incredible. He's 19 years old, shortstop at third baseman. He's the number one overall prospect in any org. But not only that, he's the number one prospect in an organization in Milwaukee that is pumping out massive stars over and over and over. There's two more guys that I think people are going to be like, well what about this Milwaukee player? Yes, he is going to be buyable and is going to be investable, but his Runway is too long right now. So that is the thing I wanted to focus on with this guy specifically. And this card specifically is. This is the card I'm going to be looking at and I have currently already been bidding on because the PSA 10 is in a nice Beckett The PSA 9 hasn't cover come back up yet. Like it hasn't fully gotten there. So there is a little bit of a risk handle on this card. I think you can actually make better some more smarter or safer plays with Cooper flag right now. But if you are a baseball only guy, your, your window for him is actually opening rather than previously we have just said don't touch this guy yet he's there. Any questions that you have about this guy Before I move on to the rest of the guys, just a couple comments on this because I think it's brilliant what you've put together here for us. And I'm just going to say that his PSA 10 is down $130 in the last 30 days according to Hobby Flipper down $70 in the last 14 days. So you are spot on in terms of like being able to one-of-one that card in an auction in PSA 10 and make money in the future which I would assume would be selling market for him could be March of 2027. Yu-Gi-Oh he's projected to make the major leagues in 2027 which is why I don't know if you guys remember back then or if you were a part of our community back then, but Wyatt Lankford was an immediate buy as soon as his cards came out because we thought that he was going to be a quick to the majors and his cards came out in December and he was likely going to make the team in April. And that's exactly what happened. And we bought at the time that everybody was like I can't believe you're buying at the peak of his, of his prices. And I'm like this is not the peak because he is not having a long Runway like all these other players. So when, when, when players are fitting in the end of the Runway section for, for baseball prospecting specifically, I like to say now's the time and you know, he is entering the end of the Runway quote unquote. And he is definitely young and he's going to have a lot of hype. And Yu-Gi-Oh there's, I agree. And there's Jackson Cheerio level of hype. And of course yes, he is also a brewer. Yep. And he's 19. And so there's also the other thing I want to emphasize here is Hobby Flipper when you click on his raw card the the Bowman Chrome First Prospect Auto it it runs the numbers for you automatically. So it says that there's a 21 ROI and it's a go for PSA. It also says it's a go for BGS. Not enough upside in an SGC 10. So it's a thumbs down for SGC. But no offseason.com obviously pulls in this data from Hobby Flipper in our sports card ranking. So if you go over to our sports card rankings. This card raw to grade is number 33 overall and the reason why I toggled over to no off season is because it has a 53.3% gem rate. That's according to gemrate.com for PSA. So the raw to grade play could. Could be there is there as well as the PSA 10 play and I think either one of the fact that you brought the 53% in there because that was a point that, that I was like I need to make this point and totally had forgotten that. Cool. So a lot of good, a lot of good data there on and his name is Jesus Made. So you got, you got a lot. He's got a lot going for him and he is Jesus made now. I mean I think the next guy a little is a. I probably. I'll just say this. I think I'm gonna make some Jesus made plays potentially. Yu-Gi-Oh I'm a good chance probably a guy that I'm not going to necessarily make plays on but that I may be very like following very closely for personal reasons is I believe the guy that got traded to Detroit. Yu-Gi-Oh Zaire Hope is my next guy. There was a lot of Detroit movement and this is where I like I just want to remind everybody the caveat here is these are guys that moved in trades if you are looking to make guys or like trades that are based on the last trade deadline. But I think this is not necessarily in the must buy window as if the same window as Jesus. But I told, I told Paul that I would give some structure around this. But Zaire Hope I think is a graded to graded play if you're going to make a play on him right now a raw to grade play doesn't make a whole lot of sense but he went from the Dodgers to Detroit in the school trade and he looks set for right field of the future in Detroit which I know you love that he an outfield of Max Clark, Riley, Riley Green and Zaire Hope has a lot of promise to it. He could get a residual rise just from being in the outfield with those other two guys. I think he's a Dodgers prospect that didn't really have any room to get into la but he's a guy that's been an Absolute stud at, at the at the minor league level. So he was a, he was a guy that was looking for a chance and he had a 132 WRC plus with the Dodgers this year at double a as a 21 year old under age there at the W at that level and a 237 ISO. So this guy's hitting bombs at a regular level. In 94 games he had 23 bombs. And so this guy's going to be a power hitter, which is, is good for the hobby. He's also his minor league numbers are good. He almost hit.300 as well at double A. So I mean that's really good as well. So I look to see this guy being really, really good. You know, we also have him in Hobby Flipper as well, although he's not as good of an investment. He is in there if you guys want to, want to go take a look at that. And Paul can pull up the numbers here. As you see thumbs down for psa. That's why I said it's potentially a graded to graded play. I the, the problem here with Zaire though is I think he makes a call up here this year. So he's not currently getting called straight up to Detroit, but I think they're going to give him a chance at this point. And so buying a slab at A$200 price is not like an overly ambitious sale. I think it's higher than 200 when he makes the majors. But you've got to factor in a lot of details here. So you got to be really shrewd on this play if you're going to make this play and you got to have a real attention to like where you're going to sell it, if you're going to sell it when he gets called up or you're going to sell it next year when Detroit is having a good run at the division again. My next guy is a guy that's a graded to graded play. Two is a guy that's a top prospect. He was traded from the Cubs to the Mets in an up and down system. Cubs number one prospect at the time. But the Cubs were a really bad farm system when he got traded to the Mets and the Mets basically sold everyone. So there's going to be like the Mets are going to be a prospect debuting machine over the next year because they have no veterans on their team. They actually have a guy on their team that was a 14 year drafted 14 years ago that just made his MLB debut. You know, so they're like there's some problems going on in New York, but Jefferson Rojas is a graded degraded play. I think that could be made here too. He has some appeal to some degree. His average PSA 10 right now according to the market analyzer and predicting tool, his last sale was around 150 bucks, which was when the trade happened. Yu-Gi-Oh August. Yu-Gi-Oh But the average sale is around $143. I would imagine you're not going to get a PSA 10 for Jefferson Rojas now because of the movement under $150. But I still think $150 for a Bowman Chrome auto for a guy who's going to be a good player for the Mets and getting a chance is worth an Absolute Fleer Still not a guy that I would be like these are guys that I would invested in three or four years ago. Not like in terms of my strategy. Three or four years ago. Not like three or four years ago is when I would have gotten in on these guys. I'm saying my strategy is not here anymore. So Jefferson Rojas is a guy that's moved from Detroit to. Or not Detroit, the Cubs to the Mets, but still not somebody that I think we should be investing in largely now. A guy that I am excited about that I do have three slabs of because he is so dang cheap. He. I've actually bought him before he got put in the trade this year, but Emilian Petrie is a second baseman in the Mets organization now, but was in the Rays organization. I found his numbers after doing some fantasy baseball stuff and I was like, Yu-Gi-Oh this guy is hitting the Absolute cover off the ball. He's at double A. I have no idea who this is. How do I not know who this is? He had a low K percentage, is Zebra high WRC plus his isolated power numbers were incredible or could use some work, but they have been incredible in the past. He's also moved at the deadline. So this guy, I was going to talk about him one-of-one Once I started looking I realized that he got thrown in to a trade as well. So I was like, okay, the Mets now have this other guy that I'm actually way more excited about and he's way cheaper. This is something that I think is if you're going to make a Fleer play on a guy, move to the deadline. This is the kind of move that I that I would recommend partially because if it doesn't hit it is not a lot of money. His PSA10 auto right now is last sale for 39.99. A PSA10 of a Bowman Chrome auto of a guy that I'm like, how do I not know who this guy is? Is 39.99. That happened one other time, Paul. That's happened one other time and his name was Andy Rodriguez and we made some pretty good money on that guy. I remember. Here's a good one. I really think that Petrie is in a position to not to not. He wasn't, he's not a household name, but I think he could be in the range of that Jefferson Rojas money next year. I think that 150 sale point for a Bowman Chrome auto for Petri is not out of the question. So what I did is I, you know, me, I like to test my theory and I like to put my money where my mouth is. So I went out and bought an out of 100. I actually bought three of them. I bought out of 100 PSA 10s Petri cards for $70 a piece. Out of 100 PSA 10 Bowman Chrome Autos. They are. I'm like, if you were to buy that for, for Jesus, for instance, you'd be paying several grand. Yu-Gi-Oh for sure. I'm paying $70 for an out of 100 Bowman Chrome Auto PSA 10 for this guy. And I'm like, if that doesn't hit, I am okay with it. But if that hits, that's going to be a massive return for me. So Petrie I'm excited about. I think people are going to say like, oh, you're just pumping, dumping right here. No, I'm not. No, he's definitely not. This is a 39 PSA 10 autograph. Like, this is not something you're going to go and buy a million of. And so just buy one and just have the dice roll. If you're looking for a dice roll. Good stuff, Lefty. It's, it's fun to see you get pumped up about baseball prospects. There's definitely money to be made here. I think the, the Petri Penny stock lotto lotto ticket is a great idea. Yu-Gi-Oh don't, don't buy like 10 of them because then you might as well have bought a better card. But if you can buy two, three like Lefty did, that's kind of a cool idea. The, the mate situation intrigues me because there's such a huge market for him and the raw to grade possibilities are, I think, pretty safe because I think again, if you don't get the grade you want at psa, you crack that out, you sell it in March one-of-one and you're probably not losing anything because his cards will likely continue to go up. Great stuff there. If you want to talk real quick about the last guy that you said doesn't have a Bowman card yet, sure I can. Yu-Gi-Oh I didn't know if we were running over time and so I was just Gonna leave that if. Well, I do have to pay, but other than that. Well, okay. So I also love the. The profile of Alexander Fry. Free us. He moved to St. Louis in a trade. I really like his profile, but he doesn't have Bowman cards out yet. And so, like, if he was on there, he would have been on this list instead of Jefferson Rojas in a second. You know, like, I wanted to talk about Petrie because, like, I feel like he's a really cool dice roll. Say your hope is the best prospect moved at the deadline. Jesus is a guy that we have to talk about. And then honestly, I just threw Jefferson Rojas in here. If Jefferson Rojas, he would have not even had a thought in my mind if Alexander had been had Bowman cards available. And I also wanted to add this point about Jesus as well. When I look at my hobby Flipper. You guys know that we've talked about this several times where I go ahead and add PSA9 value to the chart as well. The PSA9 chart value is not great for Maddie right now, but I do believe that, that that curve will continue to go. Like, there's just not a whole lot of nines being sold because his 53% gym rate is so good. Like, people are holding this. So I think if you do get a nine, you don't have to worry. I think the nine will make you money in April. But if you are selling, the last previous sale for a nine was underneath a raw value. But I don't think you have to worry about that per se because I do think that you can hold a 9 until April and still get your money back. Great stuff. And my parting shot for the show is, you know, if you're for whatever reason, scared of grading your cards for, like, just maybe scared isn't the right word. But you. You want to know like, you want to buy. If you just want to buy graded cards and flip them. I think we finally nailed the graded to graded rankings. It does happen. I think it happens. It happens often. It. It happened. I made a lot of, like, I just gave you an example about 30 minutes ago or 20 minutes ago, my Anthony Edwards graded to graded Victor Wembanyama and LeBron James. In the last six months, I've made a lot of money on their graded to graded. And I'm looking at. And so the. When it's hard to rank cards mathematically based on without, without like some sort of performance spike. See, the performance spike is always going to be the thing that brings an already graded card to its peak Value. But what I've tried not to do is predict those, because if I can figure out a way to rank cards just based on when to buy them and when to sell them without a performance spike, then that's better because then the performance spike is like icing on the cake. And I really, I'm looking right now at our graded rankings@noallseason.com and then they're now powered by Hobby Flipper, which is different than when they. What they've ever been powered by. So what that. It's great for me because it's essentially I'm not ranking them. The data is. Now, I set the parameters of that. I say include these players, don't include these other players. I say, let's look at 90 day windows or 30 day windows based on the time of year, things like that. But really it's, it's the data ranking them. And when I, I've never felt more confident in our graded rankings than I do at this very moment. As I look at them, because I, the, the names and the cards I see there, it's like, man, I think we finally nailed it. Look at number 12, bro. Look at number 12. Number 12. Jesus Maday, also known as Jesus made Bowman Chrome first prospect auto. There's a card on here that you were like, don't ever buy this four years ago. Look at number 10. That it is. That's right. Thanks for calling me out. That fourth word right there, ptsd, bro. I knew it. Like, that's how well we know each other and our, our history of talking sports cards with each other. I did. Like, I gave Lefty so much about that card. It would have been 20, 23. Yu-Gi-Oh When it first came out, I was like, don't know. Never. But it, it's actually, we've seen Lamine Yamal's prices come down since the World Cup. You know, a lot of Wemby cards are down. You know, Aaron, there's some Aaron Judge on here. And I just, I think those guys all make sense, you know, to be buying their graded cards. I mean, what's interesting is. Okay, so the cool thing here is you can go, you can search for a player. And you mentioned Luca earlier and we're about to wrap up the show, but I'm just going to type in Luca to see. So his Prizm green PSA9, his red, white and blue PSA9. His optic hollow PSA9. That's interesting. Luca. Some Luca PSA nines are down according to Hobby Flipper. This is in the last. This Is in the last cut. Is it 30 days or 90 days? Hold on one second. I gotta get this. I gotta get this right. Hobby Flipper rankings are based on the graded to graded. It's based on the let. It's based on what's down in the last 90 days. So. Nice. Yu-Gi-Oh bask. Here it is. It's all. It's all. All sports are currently set to 90 days. So there will be. There will be some times. And I will announce these@noallseason.com and on the. On the sports card strategy show, there are some seasonality windows where it makes sense to adjust by sport into like a shorter window or a longer window. I actually, the reason why Lefty wants me to say that is because. Well, probably many reasons, but it all stems from when I lived in Spain and I. When I lived in Spain, I first. That's when I first got back into the hobby. And the only cards I could find at retail. You're making sure. Shoddy drug deal type card purchases. Yes. The only cards I could ever find at retail that were even worth mentioning were mega cracks Panini. Mega cracks for. For La Liga on Su Fati Pedri Gavi had a mega cracks and had Jeremy Pino. But then, of course, Lamina Wall is the one we're talking about now. But there was but the word crack, in case you're wondering. Do you know what it means, Lefty, in Spain, crack, okay? Crack means like star. So mega. Mega crack is like all star. And so I was. I was coming to. I had just run a half marathon in. In Valencia, and I was coming to one of my son's soccer games. And I was. I was a little bit late, and I was still, like, in my running gear and everything. And as I walked up, all the parents were like, cheering for me because they knew that I had just finished the half marathon and one of the dads goes, edison crack. Edison crack. And it was like the best thing anyone in Spain ever said to me because he's basically telling me, like, you're a star, you're a star. So that's what crack means. So the mega cracks.
