He said, oh, he put all of his money in one thing. Well, All right. That whole conversation we just had was inappropriate and will not be on the air. But we're back, and my voice is halfway gone because of my kid. He, dude, you're sick. I'm a little. Not bad. I'm coming out of it. And Jesse's. Every time he looks at me, I'm like. I'm, like, edging away. Just high five. Jesse's gonna die. Oh, first voice. There'll be a lot of voice cracks. By the way, Papa Gio's here. He's barefoot. Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh Can we show him? Let's get. Let's give the YouTube audience. Hold the cup up, too. Hey, show them the cup. Yu-Gi-Oh No shoes, huh? Cover your feet, for God's sake. Look at this guy. Look at this. Show the foot off. Well, we're. You can't see him yet. There we go. Show the. Show the swag. Ebay shirt. Show the hat. Dad, adjust the hat. Ebay live hat. How's it going? Sure. He's got the cutaway look. Guy looks great. Looks dynamite. Budweiser in here. He's walking all around town now. No license to walk it all around. EBAY live. He's a banner. Oh, that's just your title sponsor. This is what it buys you folks. You're welcome. All right, I'll see you. Yu-Gi-Oh All right, thanks. He's here. He'll be here all day. Folks, I have a couple topics I think you probably do as well. Yu-Gi-Oh go for it. I was gonna just set the stage a little bit. I want to talk a general rule with new product and the singles thereafter. Okay. I got a couple buys recently, I've been spending a little bit of money on the single side. Dying again. We have yu-gi-oh Bartel. We're finally talking football. I have some questions prepared. Mike is helping me get more prepared. I. Did you see what Brendan sent over? He sent over, like, in case you need it, topics, which didn't send it to me. Yu-Gi-Oh he did. It's to both of us. He sent it over. A couple of them already had on. I got nothing. It's in your email. Oh, that's a SGC pricing increase. Yep. Why are you so quiet? Am I quiet? Because I saw. I thought I said, why freaking Ray was over here again. It might have been that there was also the fact that Zebra came out. No, you're quiet. My mic is. My mix is all the way. Hey, say something over there, bozo. I. Hello? Yu-Gi-Oh he's loud. You say something? I sound loud. I sound low to you. You're a little better. Well, Brian came in and did some adjustments, but he said, like, it should be better overall, so I don't know. Well, this thing is freaking maxed out and I can barely hear either. Well, I can. You're okay. You know what? Maybe I'm just. Maybe I'll turn me down. I don't know if that. Actually, I could hear you guys fine. You can hear him fine, too? Yu-Gi-Oh Are me and on the same level to you? Do you hear everything? Oh, okay. Well, maybe it's me then. Okay. Maybe you guys sound good on my end, for whatever it's worth. You're sick. Brendan finally decided to speak. And we've all talked. Brendan, for the people. Say it again. I was saying you guys all sound good. Jesse sounds fine. He's usually a little bit louder. It might just be my head. Well, Yu-Gi-Oh but he sounds fine. Okay. Anyways, it used to be the Goldin rule was when the new product, one of two things, immediately sell because you're going to get the premium top dollar first to market. Get rid of it. Move it quickly. Yu-Gi-Oh And if you're going to grade anything, do that immediately as well. Because, hey, like, you got to grade it to get it back. Be fast. Be first to market the first week you have some grace period. That means leeway. Thank you. Yep, continue with the definition because again for the first week it's like hey, you still have some time, get things returned, be first to market grace in the sense of hey, maybe in three weeks this purple Refractor of the rookie is only worth $12 raw, not worth grading. But now for the first week it's worth 35. So hey, it is worth great. Yu-Gi-Oh used to be quite a bit of variance. I'm just going to tell you now. The entire playbook with what to do with new release products has almost, is almost completely out the window now really if you are ripping new product, you buy a box at your store, a break a digital whatever you're doing. Last week was Topps Chrome Black look trying to sell that crap. However, if you pull a single and you're like hey, what do I do? Here is your default rule going forward. You sell it right then almost exclusively. You can no longer grade anywhere for cheap, period. SGC is the cheapest at 50 bucks. Yu-Gi-Oh we'll talk about that soon. But like, and even SGC originally it was like hey, SGC doesn't sell as well as psa but if I can get it back three weeks earlier, first graded to market, we'll make up the cost. Not the case anymore. PSA is, is Beckett up and is $80 a car. Excited. I've got some pushback on this. Oh good. Zebra limited. So if you are now going ripping new product with the plan of hey, I'm selling the stuff I don't want if you're keeping it, do whatever you want. Sure. But if you are planning to sell unless and the other caveat I would say hey, if you're ripping Bowman Chrome, it's a, it's a crap prospect. Never sell prospects cheap if they're worth a dollar for an auto base auto, just keep it. Maybe the guy pops and does something. But for your established the stuff you know your goal is to sell and they have somewhat of a market now just do it, get rid of it. Because like always stuff sells higher the first week or two weeks. Y grading is kind of off the table now. Unless now value wise you pull a 500 raw card within reason even that though, like what's the cheapest level to get something back within a couple weeks? Oh, a couple weeks. You're talking like 200 bucks, aren't you? Yu-Gi-Oh but I mean like in most cases if you think it will 10, you're still going to probably net out better In a few months. I don't know that that's the case. So let's, so let's play the example of a 50 card or. Well, it's not a bad example, 100 card. Okay. Sell it raw for 100 release week. Okay. Well, in about two weeks. Statistics show about. I'm stealing some of this, by the way. About 30% drop just from the new shining off. Gotcha. So that's now a $70 card. I don't know what the first PSA 10 sells for. And you have, I mean with shipping everything, a minimum of $100 into the card and you're waiting. If you only go the $80 level, you're waiting two months. I don't know that it's worth it. The only thing with all of that is one, we're not taking into account the factor that like, for what it sounds to me like it sounds very much the play for all, like a lot of the non sport that I deal with. For you. I wouldn't have thought you would say this because there are so many factors with them actually playing the sport and or showing off performing in a way that causes their card value to go up. That would make me think like, okay, there's a lot of reasons to maybe hold this more than just the next week or two. Even if you do. That's the other caveat. If you think for some other reason on field it's going to affect them. But I'm saying like Trout is probably doing nothing this season to affect his pricing. Bryce Harper, like established stars, retired guys, hall of Famers, all that, of course they're not doing anything. And even like most rookies, prospects, if they're just going to go into the off season here in about a month. Yu-Gi-Oh Nothing else is going to affect their market. Pos. Now if you're telling me, hey, I'm, I'm loading up on, you know, the C list player from the brewers because they're going to go in as the one seed. Okay. That's different. You're prospecting. But again, I would lump that in with pro guys you think have upside immediately. But even then, if it's baseball, you are not grading baseball because you got to sell it during the playoffs. You're not going to get it back. Yu-Gi-Oh sure. I just think the whole mindset and again, I'm probably being too general. Yu-Gi-Oh But I do think like, man, it's no longer like, hey, I'm grading this, save that. If you're just moving at all anyways, almost all of it Needs to be sold quickly. The only. So the other pushback I guess I would give. I love this Jesse is just pushing back where I have. I, that is actually what you're saying is actually almost exactly what I've been doing for years. Years. Especially on the non sports side where it's like if there is something that I hit and it's a big hit and I think, oh, I, I, one-of-one the Po. You don't want that one-of-one the Pooh. My idea is I need to move this right away. Yep. However, I am now seeing the error of my ways. Well, in this. Now hang on. I understand what you're going to say, but I, what I was going to point out is in this resurgence of, of non sport and perversion in, in the assertions of non sport we are seeing. Oh my goodness. Had I only kept like just the base the refractors of these cards that I ended up in some cases just throwing them out because I was like, well, I just have so much base of this. What am I going to do with it all? Hogs, pigs get fed, hogs get slaughtered. There. There is a point that you, you should probably go ahead and, and discard some of this stuff. I, I'm not saying hoard everything. However, in the case where we have so many new products coming out and especially with TOPS now just, just now releasing the new basketball and football IPs, they're going to have like new inserts too. It's like, oh, people will look back and maybe just a couple years in some instances where it's like oh, that was the first instance of them doing this set and, or this insert and people are like oh well I got to have that. Even if it wasn't like that big of a thing. It's just all of a sudden that's the next what is deemed as the next Downtown or I think this is true in your world for sure. I've seen it. But your whole world is honest. This crazy spike right now, almost across. Sure. But I mean you could apply this to your world. Here's why it wasn't far as like an insert and or base set because. But none of these are new right now. We've already had everything's come out first year. Now we're getting some second year stuff. Well like the 2025, it was the first year of licensed basketball and football. Sure. So if you're gonna go back a year, fine. But I'm saying from now going forward because like I'm taking that out. We nothing everything now will be Second I second release on this new IP and. And sports. Again you talk about the maturity of, of the sports space compared to how new you guys still are. Because it is a very new space. It used to be. It is like there's the 1990s and before we there were sets obviously there was not as. It was not as prevalent. Not even close. That's what I mean. You guys are just years behind us. Not in a bad way. It's an emerging market now. Well, I just mean to say like there's vintage we have that goes back early 1900s and stuff too. There's nobody like how many guys are doing that. And then RIP SpongeBob talking about. That's what I mean, that kind of the point. I mean we're getting away from the argument though. The argument of the new pro. This is the first time I would argue in the history of non sport. You are getting consistently over the past six months to a year even since when you started breaking, you are now getting more product more consistently than any other time. Oh sure. So that's what I mean. You were having a search. If you told me all that stuff goes up, I would not apply anything I said to what you're doing at all. I actually agree. But I think in the sports space we've seen this before. We have a track record. We don't have anything. There's nothing new under the sun over there right now. And with grading changing, I just think it's a. For sports at least. Yu-Gi-Oh I would just say if that is your play now, I would start to rely less and less on grading going forward. If you're moving stuff, you need to sell it and move on. My only, I guess the only additional pushback I would put out is with Topps Chrome. And I meant I've said this a couple episodes back where it does feel almost like there's a lot of new people coming in who view Topps Chrome as not only just the flagship of Tops, but it is. That is what I need to have as far as like my first card. Because you know we talk about like oh the, the non sports stuff is going off with these 23 and 24 and they are. But it's definitely not the first sets of Marvel or Disney that are. That these cards represent. However, it was the first Topps Chrome sets that came out and we're seeing unprecedented prices in some cases for some of the basketball and football that. Well, basketball specifically that's come out now granted it's a better class but at the same time I Do think there's some aspect. Hang on, hang on. That's not true. This is not impressive. Women. Yama stuff was more expensive than any basketball we'd ever seen before. As was old prison. Okay, maybe it's very, very high. All right, so, okay, let's not nitpick, but. Well, no, but you can't say that like that's a major statement. It's an expensive class. Sure. I mean we're talking about 2000, almost $2000 for a Zebra of box of Tops basketball update that just came out today. I would say I sold non licensed Wemby for a thousand a box. That stuff license would have been five grand. I know, but it wasn't, so. Well, there's a license, not Apple. But it's not. It doesn't matter. We're getting in the weeds. We are, but the point being is that if people are viewing Topps Chrome as a hey, this is like the first time it was out in this product. I think there is something still to be said of hey, maybe don't sell everything you got on the first week or maybe don't sell all of it period for the next couple years and just see if that takes hold throughout the hobby where people are like, oh Yu-Gi-Oh that was the first time. Because they are reinventing themselves as not just a card company, but the card company in a lot of ways. And I'm not saying that as a shill of Thompson. I'm saying that as the general representation of people in the market, it just seems like, oh well, they. You have this product that has the same character and or athlete and there's that product. But when it comes down to the. Yu-Gi-Oh but what's the Tops product? What's the Topps Chrome product that came out with that one? And that's where I see a lot of people going after those more preferably. So Yu-Gi-Oh again, I think it's probably true in your world. I don't see it as much in my side. Okay. It's a thing here. I mean Topps Chrome is a popular product. We also had Topps Chrome 30 years ago, so it's tough. There's no COD company even close to Tops, right? Not anymore. I mean Panini was the ones forever. Yu-Gi-Oh But they're the biggest. Upper Deck is the Tops of Hockey. Upper Deck completely owns the hockey space. But everything else, tops, right? Just about, Yu-Gi-Oh I mean, yes, there's a lot of offshoots. You could probably find name dozens of card companies. However, the one license though, the ones that like, if you can name it and. Or, you know, you've got family members who are not into cards whatsoever. And if you ask them, hey, who's a card company or a card maker, they're gonna say, tops nine times out of ten, I would say. I would agree with that. Yu-Gi-Oh See, I just think with. Grading has changed the game a lot with what we're doing with new and so that ties in with the SGC thing. I didn't see this coming. I didn't realize their numbers were like. They are. So SGC just jumped up to 50 bucks a card. And the return time, I think, is 50 business days. Is that right? I'm pulling it up as we speak. I think that's right, though. This is effectively a killer. The speed was the number one, like, nail in the coffin. This is. You just decided, hey, after we buried this dead fool and put him in the ground, we're gonna dig him up and now we're gonna put him in a. What do you call it when you get. I can't think of the word. Like. Crematum. Cremate. Yu-Gi-Oh Yes. So you already buried this idiot. Yu-Gi-Oh And now you know what? Just want to make sure old Larry boy's dead. I'm just pulling him out of the head. Right in the cremation device, the furnace, the. The kills it. I don't understand. The idea is it is 40 plus days is what they're saying. As far as return times, it is going up from 15 to $50, dude. Three and a half freaking X. I am curious though. Do you think they were actually getting them back out within, like, say, a week or two before this? I don't. No, no. It's been. It's been 40 days for a while. Okay. So there's really not much of a time change, but it's more. But the time was the most important thing in the first place. SGC doesn't sell as well as psa. Sure. If you're using them, it's like, hey, new release stuff. Okay. I'm going to get 75% of the same card, apples to apples. But if I sell SGC three weeks earlier than psa, Yu-Gi-Oh I'm probably getting almost the same money. Great. But that is not the case now. You're paying 50 bucks a card for a product that's going to sell for 70% of the other. Yu-Gi-Oh And I don't think it should have been a surprise to any of us because knowing that collectors has BGs, SGC and PSA all under the same house, they are pulling resources from each of them to try and help the other ones that are struggling. And now we know that by the way, I mean, they've said that before. Like they specifically were going to pull some people off of SGC to go pull. I don't know if it went to Beckett or psa, but Yu-Gi-Oh that was the idea. I'd be fine at this point if you said we're literally just shutting down sgc, we're pulling every resource and we're going to crush the PSA backlog. I'm kind of surprised they haven't. I'm just not sure what you're doing with SGC now. Like, I don't. What am I still in business? I don't. There's still people that like them. Yu-Gi-Oh there's people that like. I mean, but they're grading used to be quick. Now they're raising prices, they're slow. What's the point? Exactly. That's where I'm at. There's no point to me. If you said to me, what are you sending to SGC right now? The only. Well, the only. This is the only for me. I'm still missing the one Brady card and a couple cards from other sets. Those have to go because I have every other card in that holder for my set. Well, and I. Aside from that, I, I. And if you. And it's just take preference out of it because clearly something. The tuxedo look is a. Something a lot of people do like. And I get that. And plus the fact, like, we're negating the fact that we've pushed for so long that they are the go to for vintage for in a lot of cases. And I don't know if that's. I. And on the sports, I don't know if it's still viewed that way or not, but I know for the most part that's what we'd always talked about was no, my big push was the return times. No, it's not me. My big push was always. And that's why you did you talk like when we said like, really older. Older vintage stuff always did better in an sgc. Never outsold psa. And my big thing was when I was breaking, I was sending 500 cards a week taking crazy pills. I would love commenters. Dude, the SGC thing was, hey, if you're breaking, send it to SGC today because you'll get it back in a week. I know it sells cheap. That was always my business. That's not like vintage. I mean, vintage fine. Like, I would never send a Beckett for Vintage would I send to sgc? Sure. But. But with vintage is also not a big rush. Why wouldn't you just back then two, three years ago, why wouldn't you just send a psa? It's always going to outsell it. It is so weird because I swear that was never my big push. I swear that was also your push as well, but. Right. Because I mean like you timing was the biggest push always for new stuff. Great. There was. There's a mantle. A9.5 mantle sold for 12 million. Sure. Oh, I'm not saying. Yu-Gi-Oh That card will sell no matter what it's in like that card is. Is one of the highest Wagner SGC. Sure. 2. Nobody owns a higher end card. Babe Ruth. That Babe Ruth that sold for like 7 million. 1914. That was also an SGC. Yu-Gi-Oh I mean three biggest card sales. Public guard sales. Where SGC holders. Sure. Look at the stuff people actually sell though. Those are three cars that no one's ever gonna own. I'm so. Look at like your normal 1961 mantle as a 5 grade A PSA outsells SGC all the time. You know what? Let's. Let's do that. Let's just check. Let's see. Let's fire up these freaking monitors, will you? You look good today. Something going on? You want to get something on the side? What's going on? What would he. Hang on. Let's explore that. What would he have on the side? What do you mean? You mean a lady friend? You know, something on my Taco Bell or something with a Sepia sandwich. I wouldn't do that. He looks like he's in love with something. I'll tell you. His wife. Oh Yu-Gi-Oh Bob Ross. The joy of collecting. I've got a Bob Ross shirt on. I think maybe that's what it is. I don't actually. Can you tell me who. I think you look terrible. Don't ask me. I gotta. Oh, and I got a haircut like James Bond. From the side we have to actually turn. I use your bulky shoulders. Just collect 2006. I think I got this at the national or Fanatics fest. I just found it in my drawer. It's not a bad shirt. It's a fun shirt. It's not an ebay. I mean he's got. I mean honestly. By the way, those are all large. None of those. Those don't even fit me. Never mind you so. Thanks. EBay. Live sponsor of the show. Got the hats and the cups. There'll be no shirts on this exception. That's fine. You Know what? Papa Geo is going to be flush with new merch and we will be doing ebay live, I think from here. Next week is the hope Big Bowman Chrome on Wednesday and then we're doing the 50k Friday night show. That has to be like I really. What about Patrick? Did he come in yet? Patrick sent the stuff over thing we'll have to see. Is that the box? Oh, the box. Was this the box? Was the ebay live swag? All right, let's go. I said 1952. No, no, no. 51. No, I said 62. Like a regular vintage card. Yu-Gi-Oh All right, 1962. Just any card. You want to do a mantle or. Yu-Gi-Oh I want a gold mantle. Like a four. Like a card that sells. Sure. All right, so while you're doing that, I'm going to pull up another one because I'm very curious. 1962 tight. Dynamite. What are you talking about, dynamite? I would say we all live. I'd wear that for the bumble picture. Dang it. There's not a. Let me do a more popular card so it'll have SGC grading as well. 19 here real quick. I just looked it up. A 56 mantle in an SGC six last sold for 12, 350 and a PSA. A PSA six sold for 8,000. Oh, 1950. That's not real. The 1956 mantle tops SGC. You said six. 1956 mantle. Yu-Gi-Oh I mean, Brendan, every sale before that is half. That's a clear, my friend. Yu-Gi-Oh so. So take that back like days before. Days before. So. So that card though, Brendan, if you're looking, sells for between 52. If we go back to January, it's come up. So let's go for the last two months, it's selling for about 6,000. A little less as an SGC average is probably 5,800. As a PSA 6, you are talking 7,868. Of your last two this month. You had one that was off center. Did 58, 59, 66, 73, 78, 85. So you're talking a 20, what, 1500 bucks on 5000. So about. About 25 higher for a PSA 6 on. On that card. Yu-Gi-Oh I'm guessing that's probably across the board. Yu-Gi-Oh if that would be the same case across the board. But I mean it sounds like the SGC 6 outsold it in that one case too. So it sounds like it's one to one one. I immediately regret doing this. I was on Mike's side too, for this was that Brendan talking. You did a hell of a job, Brandon. No, he didn't. He proved my points. No, he didn't. Terrible. Okay, I'll give you one more example. 1964, Topps got another example as well, but I'll, I'll be. SGC will one-of-one on this one. So as long as it's true data, don't show me a card that's sold for double on a different platform. 1964 Mantle PSA 5 sells for 750. Card letter value is 750 in SGC 5. SGC 5 is 6356-006505-50590. I don't remember all in August. 757. And these you're talking 600. That 19. Just because I pulled up that 1956 Mickey Mantle as well. But I pulled up a different grade just pulling up the PSA5. There's a PSA5 that just sold for 4900 and the SGC5 just sold for holder time. Oh, dang it. It did be it. But it was barely 48. 37. So they were essentially. Here's my point is, I do think that SGC and PSA for vintage do sell very similarly and in some cases and sec without. Without sell a psa. I'm not sure why you said that. What's the case that SGC is still very comparable? I mean, what's the case. Yu-Gi-Oh what's the case of it being better? The that there are still some sales that are higher just because, I mean, just because we, we pulled up three cards and one of them was. And the other one was tied. Well, the one wasn't. When a Card sells for 12,000 and there's three the same week at 55, can't you reasonably say, hey, that isn't a 12,000. Like, that's obviously a fake sale. You, you think that's a legit sale? I, I, I haven't, I do not have enough data to know whether or not all the data in the world. The card has been X amount forever. Right. Why? Everything's jumping. There's so many things I've jumped. I don't know anything. So you think in two days at two and a half X, I have Brendan. That's the team you chose, by the way. You're on. For the record, I wanted to be on your side. I was trying to be on your side. You wanted to be, but you weren't. This is just this dealing with that guy just offered me 3 million for this house. House is worth 3 million. Not the most sense. It's just whoever screams the loudest. And that's fine. You can. You can go ahead and make that argument. I'm not saying disagreeing completely. Either way. I want one example that you actually think is valid where SGCL tells psa. All right, so let's go ahead and pause the recording so I can actually start doing some research to find out. Because that's the way you find out an answer. You don't just say, oh, I found one. That's it. You're an idiot. You said different. We found every example we looked at. And I've been doing this for 20. It's the same literally every example. Yes. You're not gonna find one aside from the three you said, because the 95 is never sold as a PSA. Those were just the first ones I looked at. But whatever you did. Highest sales ever. Sure. By the way, I think SGC is a fine grading company. If you're using vintage, no problem. But they don't sell the same as psa. I. And I would completely agree with you for everything non vintage as well. But I would say there's still an argument and that's okay. So for next show, let's do this. I would love it. Let's talk about it. Give me some examples where you think it outsells bsa. Yu-Gi-Oh sure. I think that's fair. Like, I'll give you time to read. I'm just fine. I'm not trying to put you on the spot. I thought you just accepted it. Because this is a pretty generally accepted argument, but I'm happy to have the conversation. Yu-Gi-Oh I would like to actually do some more research to know. Because I'm not saying that you are wrong. I'm just saying I don't think there's a fact that it's been proven as of yet. Okay, no problem. What I just told you. I just. I understand. What do you want from me? You want me to say no? You are right. Before I do any research. Bingo. That's what he wants me to say. The data shows it. I'm not sure what we're even arguing. That's what he wants me to say. Okay, you're gonna. We'll give any. I'm not going to. I don't. You don't have to keep going. Next year, we'll try it. Our next show, I mean, we'll try it. I quit. Exactly. Quitting the podcast. There will be no future show. Is Joe here? Joe, why don't you say that again. I was just gonna say I'm happy to be on as a football guest with you guys just so we don't have to do any Dijon love conversation. How. How dare you guys both let that slip last week. Like or. Yu-Gi-Oh come on. Thank you. I will accept my share of the blame. Here's the thing. To be fair, he did fool a lot of other people. That's why he got arrested as well. So Jean loves a heck of a. Where. Where's he projected to go in fantasy? Can we go ahead and attack Brendan as well? Who knew the whole time that he was not a real football player and just decided. I'm not gonna say anything. He could have jumped. Not a real football player. I thought you were doing a bit. He thought I was doing a bit. I'll tell you. Brendan, Brendan, historically bad takes. He's on Jesse's side of the SGC argument and he thinks that John Love was a bit. Just terrible production work, quite frankly. Helen is not. Alan wasn't even officially gone. This show's falling apart. All right, Joe, we are here to talk some fantasy. We are. Opening night is less than a week away. Isn't it Wednesday? Yep, yep. And we have to get our cards in, I think by tomorrow for that, like. Oh, for the SCN fantasy challenge. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh we're doing. That's actually going to be a very cool show, the fantasy challenge, where basically all of us creators have a thousand bucks on paper to spend, buy cards based off the PSA vault and the card letter index, spend your thousand, and then whoever's thousand is worth the most at the end of the year wins and you can trade it in very much like fantasy. You have to be active players. Obviously we're going to do one hall of Fame players, like one retired guy. Oh, okay. That will just be. Brendan knows the exact rules. I don't want to get in the weeds here, but like, say you take. Hey, I'm going to take this Brady rookie. Sure. Whoever's that doesn't go towards your budget, but whoever has the highest increase in that will get like an extra $100 added to their overall number. So it's like a kicker, like a bonus. Interesting. Okay. It's gonna be pretty fun, actually. That's not why you're here, Joe. Joe, who are. Who are the big. Well, there's no real big quarterbacks, obviously. We kind of talked about that last time he was on here. As far as like big rookie quarterback Fernando Mendoza, I mean, he's not playing. No. So what What? What am I chasing here? Yu-Gi-Oh that's the problem. I mean that was the one we came on a couple weeks ago. I had concerns, you know, Topps is going to make this big push with NFL flagship being the start of it, I would assume. And you guys might know the checklist better than I do on product to come. You want this to be the big thing. And yet there really aren't a lot of highly touted prospects. You mentioned Fernando Mendoza. Kirk Cousins is going to be starting the season for the Raiders. We all expect Fernando Mendoza to play at some point this year. However, Tom Brady, minority ownership in the Raiders, has said on multiple occasions he believes that a rookie quarterback should wait. Like don't even play their entire rookie season. So we'll see what happens with Fernando Mendoza. I'm expecting like week seven or week eight. He plays when the Raiders are like two and two and six or whatever like that might be. But Jeremiah Love, number three overall selection, one of the highest drafted running backs in recent memory. He had a high ankle sprain, probably doesn't play week one. We'll have to see with the Cardinals. Cardinals also one of the worst teams in the NFL this year too. So how much do you really want to get invested in that? And then unfortunately, let me just recap. People love running backs in the hobby. Injuries are good and the Cardinals are a good franchise. Investing. Okay. Jeremiah Love is feeling the love. Thank you. Yu-Gi-Oh Joe, we'll see. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh Unfortunately Carnal Tate is serious with this attitude. Serious for years. Yes, that's true. I mean we could be with series right now. Then along Bill Simmons coattails. You see, you heard what's going on over there, baby. We'll talk about that a little bit. Yu-Gi-Oh God, we split. Yu-Gi-Oh Okay. Anyways. All right. I was gonna say, unfortunately, Cardinal Tate, you know, I liked him a lot this year. Bad preseason outing for Tennessee. Cam Ward didn't look very good either. I know that we're Nashville based here, so we don't want to really be bashing the Titans, but they might not be very good this season either. By the way, quick, quick Titans note. Talk about the most all time spineless. I believe the correct term is sackless move. A reporter asked Cam Ward, this happened like last year. He was like, how do you think you played? He's like, I don't know. How do you think I played? Which I've kind of always liked Camborg. They banned them, right? Yu-Gi-Oh Then he goes, he goes, not good. Like the reporter said that. Which, by the way, you were not good last year. You had moments. They pulled his credentials and everything. He's not allowed to practice. Nothing. Just spineless. Anyways, go ahead. I didn't mean to interject. No, no. I. I just. I have a hard time with the Cardinal Tate and I loved him during the draft process. I thought he's going to help Cam Ward and I. But to be clear, I like Cam Ward as well too. Like, I think the Titans from a coaching perspective, better off than a few of these other franchises. So it's just really hard. Like what, what rookies are you supposed to get excited for? Casey Concepcion, a late first round pick, but he's with the Browns. I think they could cycle through four quarterbacks by the end of the year with Cleveland. Like, that's not a great spot to be in. Kenyon Siddiq, who was the top drafted tight end for the jets, well, he has missed all of preseason and training camp with. With a lower body injury, he might be ready week one. But even then, like tight ends normally are, the position that takes time to develop too. Exactly. And they're bad teams. This is, this is a really, really tough rookie class to get invested in. I think you would typically say, like, if you're asking the fantasy sphere, it's going to be a guy like Dijon Stribling, who is the second round rookie receiver for the 49ers, was discussed as being overdrafted initially. I really liked him. And yet NFL teams kind of confirm that he was going to be going in that range. Well, with Mike Evans banged up Christian Kirk, banged up Christian McCaffrey having a lower body injury saga for all of training camp as well, right? Exactly. Like I think desean's dribbling is really interesting but I'll turn it back to you guys. How often does the draft pick value at least correlate with the card market right off the rip? As a second round pick you're probably, probably less valuable than a first round pick, right? Oh Yu-Gi-Oh and that's the thing too as a receiver like if a quarterback comes in and has one good game the hobby will explode and go crazy. As a receiver you're have to come in and do multiple things because the other, here's the other perception. Not a ton of hype coming in and you go into a team where when things are correct you're like a third fourth option McCaffrey you know, behind all these guys. So Yu-Gi-Oh I don't. Okay, so let me focus to this then. I, I actually think I haven't seen this played out a ton. Although the Caleb, here's what's weird. Caleb Williams and Drake Mays market over the past 60 days is outperforming Bo Nix and Jaden Daniels by a lot. I understand outperforming Bo Nix because I'm like I. Of the three I thought Bonix was maybe the most. I don't want to say game manager because he looked good. I just say if you're talking to me about upside I think Caleb and Drake have the most upside but if in terms of hobby value I've been buying Jaden Daniels like my thing is dude, he's coming off an injury. They have a pretty good team. They've brought some weapons over there. Can you what is your breakdown of those and real quick this is a long question. The reason I'm even asking is. Except it's sensible. The reason I'm even asking though is there's no one this year to chase as you just said maybe that will change but it's not. I think guys are going to go back and say okay then who was good last year? Not much there. Maybe Jackson Dart maybe maybe Tyler Shrug maybe. I think what guys are going to then do is okay, 2024 couple years some of these guys look really good. Who's the pick there? What's the play with the 424 quarterbacks? Yu-Gi-Oh and maybe we could expand further on just veterans because I kind of wonder if that's the market to go to as well given what you allude to. It's not just this draft class but last draft last draft class too just devoid of quarterbacks that have a lot of value and again Fernando Mendoza being the number one Overall pick this year. Well, his cards are already a hard chase one-of-one so it just becomes tough with those four. Jaden Daniels, Bo Nix, Caleb Williams and Drake maybe. I think that there's some order Drake made. Caleb Williams, undeniably Caleb Williams, the Madden boy cover. Right. We know hype makes a bit of a difference. The Bears unfortunately as a Packer fan had multiple crazy endings to last season. They're riding a bit of hype. I think the Bears as a whole are a team that's a candidate for regression, which would mean that they're probably going to be losing a bit more games than they one-of-one last year. They have a first place schedule as the NFC north winner. They're playing more difficult teams as in as is. And their defense was not very good last year. They. They just led by turnover differential margin quite a bit and that's not a replicable stat year to year. So I think the Bears again as a Packer fan, it's fine. Call me biased. I think the Bears might be a bit of a fallout. But Caleb Williams specifically does well because he's with Ben Johnson, the former offensive coordinator for the Lions, now head coach for the Bears. Like I think that offense will be good and Caleb Williams generates points. It'll be a matter of does the one-of-one loss record affects things. Same thing for Drake May. Right. They had a comically easy schedule last year. They are going to play. No, no. But I think it's a positive. It was, it was, it was Zebra Yu-Gi-Oh And you saw that in the playoffs. What'd they play? The top four defenses. Like four of the top 10 or something. Ridiculous. And you saw what Drake may look like. Yu-Gi-Oh And. But that weather was involved in what, three of those four games as well and like major weather as well too. And you had like that Texans game where CJ Stroud completely. I one-of-one say the words but you know, it didn't do like he poop. Yu-Gi-Oh exactly. He pooped the bed. Right. So like if you're Drake May and the Patriots offense, you don't have to do anything explosive because the defense already winning. I'm convinced that Drake May will look better this year because he's playing a tougher opposition and you have the A.J. brown part of things. Kyle Williams there, I think third round pick two years ago. He was excellent this preseason. Well, you have my guy. Romeo Topps Exactly. Yes. Yu-Gi-Oh So like I think Drake May is going to look really good this year. Unfortunately I'm worried about Jaden Daniels and this is a lot to do with the Injury risk part of things. Exactly. Literally. Look at Jaden Daniels just slinging. Hey, Joe, is Roy. He was going to say the same thing. That's what I mean. Is hiring. We'd love to get him some work. You hit him next week. Even some of the clips that Jaden Daniels had dating back to college, like with lsu, like, there are some massive hits that he didn't need to take that he would. It's not like Lamar Jackson, where he's just slippery and able to avoid contact all the time. It's. They're just different players. And then think about all the injuries Jaden Daniels compiled last year. I mean, Netflix had him on. Documented a lot of that during their quarterback show. So I'm worried. Not to mention, the offensive line for the Commanders has went through already some turmoil. Laramie Tunsil, who they trained a couple picks for a couple years ago, was an all pro tackle already at the end of his career. He's out for the majority of the season. They lost their starting center, Tyler Biotish. They cut him this past off season. The line's bad. Right. And the pass catcher is Stefan Diggs. Terry McLaurin. They're older. So Joe, was. Was Tunel his left tackle? Yes. Yu-Gi-Oh For the Texans. Yep, you're correct. Do we have to. I don't think he's gonna be running. He's gonna be running for his life. So what do you think about Nicks then? Because Bo Nicks, I actually think, has a little bit of room to. I actually think that's the best of the four teams to. I mean, Denver's defense is like a top three defense in the league. Yu-Gi-Oh I agree with you. I think you accurately described how. I believe Bo Nix is a bit more of a game manager now. People are gonna get upset with that term. He led the league in passing attempts last year. Like the Sean Payton offense will have Bo Nicks pass the ball. It's just that he does those Little Rinky Dinky 2, 3 yard passes all the time. That's how that stuff adds up. They added Jalen Waddle this offseason. And to your point, I mean, outside of a broken bone, Nick's ankle midway through that Patriots game, they probably should have been in the Zebra Bowl. Right. Like, I think that the defense of Denver is one of the best in the league. The only issue is that the Texans also have really good defense. And the AFC west in general, the division the Broncos are in has gotten better. I think Bo Nix's card value has the best chance of that. Four to Rise up. I agree. But he's the worst of those quarterbacks. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh right. Has the most. But I worry with the end they were losing in 15 out of their 17 games last year. Oh, Denver. Oh, that's right. Yu-Gi-Oh he just come back. But you agree with that too. If he doesn't break his ankle, if he plays against. I thought he was a good player in college, but I mean if he plays in the. Against the Pats and not. Yu-Gi-Oh it would have made a difference. They probably one-of-one the game. Yu-Gi-Oh Okay. Going through just some of the fantasy football. I, I'm on NFL.com and it's just showing like rotowire.com here we go. Tier 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. It's basically showing all of the, the quarterbacks, the starting quarterbacks for this year and where they line up in there. I'm. I guess I'm a little confused. So Josh Allen is the only one. He's the only tier one on their list. After that you've got Lamar Jackson, Drake May, Joe Burrow, Caleb Williams, Jalen Hurts and Jaden Daniels in tier two. Well, that's. Hang on a sec. Just to be. If you want to tell me Josh Allen number one. I'm actually okay with that. How is Jaden Daniels ahead of Matthew Stafford? Well and also why is Patrick Mahomes number 14? He's ranked 14. Well, come on, you can argue. Joe, come back to me some information here. Yu-Gi-Oh Is it just that I was wondering if this was gonna get mentioned with geo because like I know you get you've been buying Mahomes cards. I understand that premise, especially Josh Allen. Yu-Gi-Oh I, I get it. But from a fantasy perspective I have major concerns about the Chiefs offense. You have Mahomes coming off that ACL tear and was towards the end of the season. So like he's going to be closer to that nine to ten month range than the one year range of the recovery. You would theoretically not want your franchise quarterback who just renegotiate his contract to beat the Chiefs longer to be running around more. A lot of his fancy value was based off the 200, 340 yards rushing that he would get by the end of the season. So that's why he's lower on that list. But also I'm not convinced the Chief's offense will be very good this year too. They added Kenneth Walker this off season. But the pass catchers, I mean outside of Rashid Rice a lot. Correct. Yu-Gi-Oh I don't know if he's doing Taylor Swift montage dance in the Background or whatever. But like. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh Doing something. You could address that better on the show than I can carry on, Joe. No, I agree with you. I just, my only play. This is one of the few times I think fantasy has no connection to hobby. I think Mahomes could have a very average fantasy year. But if that team wins 11 games and he gets in the playoffs. I still think you fear Mahomes. Like Mahomes has that reputation. Guy's been to five Zebra Bowls. Like, I just think we need just a little bit of a reminder of Brady had years like that too where maybe it wasn't the greatest looking wins, but if you're winning games, it's like, okay, we kind of are reminded of greatness and, and Mahomes is great. I'm not trying to say he's not. I totally agree with you. Fantasy, probably. I agree. Right. And I get concerned that the defense doesn't live up to what you're talking about. I mean those Patriots teams. Sorry, I know Tom Brady's the goat, but we're carried by defenses more often than not to those Zebra bowl wins. I don't think the Chiefs can do that. And the AFC west division again with the Chargers getting better. We mentioned the Broncos as well too. I, I don't, I don't, don't talk about the Raiders. Come on. But I, I, I just don't know if they even make the playoffs. Even expanded format now, you know, that's my concern. Okay. Do you think, I mean this is my assumption at least because when I pull up like I haven't pulled up every starting quarterback, but I've pulled up a few of them and I'm pulling up just their PSA 10 Prizm rookie because that's majority of what they all have. And Caleb Williams is highest on this list as of right now of, you know, Drake May, Jaden Daniels, Jordan Love, C.J. stroud. I did throw on J.J. mcCarthy because I was just, just more curious what his pricing. $6. I'm going all in on that fantasy league. I'm getting every whatever thousand dollars of J.J. mcCarthy. I don't think that's a terrible play. I mean honestly, it's a percentage game. But Caleb Williams being from 1 to $2, that's 100% increase, bro. That's a deal. We're going by total, but no problem. It's percentage. You need to joke your math. Caleb Williams is at 255 for PSA 10 right now. Now I know the pop count is also a little bit lower when we are Comparing to say Jaden Daniels who has 5,000 PSA 10s. 5,700 actually. And C.J. stroud who has. I'm sorry, say it again. What was Caleb. He has like 900, 900 PSA 10s he has for his 2024. Why does he have 20 of Jaden Daniels? I. That's weird. He does. Yu-Gi-Oh I don't. I can't tell you exactly why, but it is he being the highest car. $255. I wonder if there's going to be some people like we just talked about at least for what we are doing which is, you know, determining who's going to be. Who's going to perform better in this season as we start percentage wise return on your investment. Caleb Williams doesn't seem like that one to me. But I do think he probably has. I don't know, there's at least enough demand out there to pump him up to 255. Oh, he's great. Yu-Gi-Oh But that's my thing. If you say, hey, do you like Caleb Williams the quarterback? Yes. He last year he had some moments where he's great. I think he's gonna have a good year. I don't like him because I don't think there's upside with pricing. That's the. Yu-Gi-Oh Like what's Drake? What is. What is Dr. B. Same card is. By the way, there's about 2600 Drake May PSA. So weird. There's that much of a difference. I know. I thought the same but in their same year too. 2024. They're all 24. Yu-Gi-Oh So what's Drake sell for? Drake is at 140. Yu-Gi-Oh I. I would buy Drake for $100 less a th. And what's Bo Nicks? I bet BO is even cheaper. Bo Nicks. Actually I Goldin get his up yet, so I'll have to check. I'm gonna say B Knicks PSA 102024 Prizm Stalling for time. I'm gonna say is $102. It was 2024. 2024 Prizm So just to recap, Caleb 250, Drake 140. Did you say Jaden? What it was? I didn't say but Jaden is at. Jaden's sitting at $65. But he also does have. He has way more. 6,700. Sure. Okay. So in the grand scheme of things, that's nothing for a Prizm PSA 10. Yu-Gi-Oh I'm. And then for Bo Nicks trying to find something that's not numbered, just a regular base Parallel. It's got to be cheap. Yu-Gi-Oh but I like Jaden. Like if, if you're telling me Jaden has that many more, fine. But Caleb should not be outselling him. I mean, that's four to one. That's crazy. I agree. I don't, and I don't know why. Maybe there just hasn't been a lot of these sold as of recently because it's all numbered stuff and, or refractors. But I mean, can I, I'll interject here because I, I guess this is kind of a question for time, Jo. So to me it's, it's a matter of production as opposed to the one-of-one loss record and you guys being in the industry, more like what does the end up generating the, the, the financial factor of these? More like, I, to me, I like Jared Goff was one of the guys I was going to mention. The Lions actually, I think have the third or fourth easy schedule and I don't always like those things because you never know what things are going to look like. Last year we didn't think the Seahawks or Patriots were gonna be very good. And they're the two teams in the Zebra bowl, right? Like, it's tough to look at stuff, but the Lions have the fourth easiest schedule. Jared Goff, at least from fantasy, has been a top 10 fantasy quarterback each the past four years. Like, to me, I think the Lions are going to be in a really good spot and they end the second half of the season at home or in a dome where Jared Goff thrives. Like when we're talking about the hype part of things, if the Lions are only, I don't know, like 11 and 6 or 10 and 7, that might not be enough to be like, Yu-Gi-Oh his card market's going to go crazy. But if he's getting close to 4,500 yards passing, things like that, like what would generate it more? The production of things, even if they have a lesser record or for the one-of-one loss record. So for Goff, it's both stats, right? Well, for golf though, it's both. Like if Jackson Dart comes out and throws to 360 and three touchdowns and they lose huge. He's a young guy. There's potential. With Jared Goff, he's been around since 2016 and we've never seen the Lions perform in the playoffs. Like the Lions would have to like he could have a great statistical season. He has to one-of-one multiple playoff games I think for his market to do anything significant. By the way, Bo nicks is like 75 to 85 to depending on which one you look at. Oh, he would be my buy of the whole of all four. Then Bo, Jaden, Drake, then Caleb. And I wouldn't touch Caleb. I would sell Caleb right now. I would hold Drake to see what he does. I would buy the other two heavily. There are a total 1700 PSA 10s out there. That is wild. There's. That. Is that a wild. It's very wild. I don't get it. I have one other question for yu-gi-oh, if I could. Well, two, actually. Deshaun Watson, hobby darling in 2017. Pervert. After that. Now he's back starting for the Browns. I mean, he should be loose. We could agree. You know what's nice, too? No HR memo on that one. Right. You're not gonna write one up for us? Well, remember we used to get that from the ringer, but we talked that we got one one time. It's like, we're not talking about desean Watson. We cannot talk about it. And part of it. This was like, my favorite part because it outlined. We don't want to, like, villainize him, and we don't want to, like, villainize the women. I was like, well, okay, maybe there's no villain. He's just a person. We're just talking about the card out of. Yu-Gi-Oh All right. Anyways. What. Is there any actual hope or upside with him? I was gonna say this is the. The first time that you have used the P word and it actually feels appropriate. Allegedly. Over the past, like, six months. Yu-Gi-Oh Jesse's crew earlier. I. I have zero hope, actually. This is one of the questions I get asked all the time. Mainly because, like, the Browns are one of the worst fantasy offenses. Hang on. That phone is so loud. Can you not hear that? That's your phone up there ringing. Why don't you go check that? Sorry, just. You got to shut it off because. Calling. We're picking it up on the microphone. Joe, can you hear the phone ringing? I can't. No, No, I. I'm not aware of it. Just take it. He's going to Tribute. You can't wait for. Please keep that. Go ahead. Do not take that out. Papa Jill's gone for the day. EBay live. There you go. We'll see him back. He'll be a little. Take the hat with you. There'll be a lighter. He'll be a little looser. He's not coming back. We're good. I think we're good for today. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh I mean, that. TV on, loud. This isn't hobby Nonsense. We'll have no background noise. Okay. No hope for desean. We got no Yu-Gi-Oh no, I I have concerns. I mean realistically I mentioned I think four quarterbacks for the bronze could start. You have Shador Sanders, Dylan Gabriel and then if we're talking about if there's one player that I'm trying to target again that would be very little Taylor Green, the sixth round rookie for them really tantalizing tools. Kind of like a Joe Milton who was on the practice squad will Levis as well too. Tantalizing tools. But I don't even think Levis is on a practice squad currently which is great. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh I I I I the Browns are going to draft a quarterback next year. They have multiple first round picks. It you shouldn't be investing in any of them. But realistically I think Taylor Green being the cheapest of that group and part of a product that will be pushed heavily like flagship maybe maybe something considers a sixth round pick just anybody else that we have not mentioned as far as starting QBs and or backup Q QBs that you're interested in. Yu-Gi-Oh I talked about Jared Goff which is one of those we had on the last show. Both KYLER Murray and C.J. stroud. I'm actually more convinced that Stroud's one of those guys that I'd look at given the Texans defense AFC south not very good. They'll, they'll have I think a chance to be a playoff Contenders and it could be just like Drake May last year straw doesn't have to do anything and still be in a position to succeed. So. Right. And it had had hobby success before. There's gonna be a lot of people talking about Justin Herbert. I understand. I would call it vitriol here but Yu-Gi-Oh like almost condensate a condescending tone with it. I get that entirely. If we mention hype that he's married or engaged to a pop star, a massive beer maybe that matters to a certain extent. It doesn't to me. Doesn't to the fantasy industry but I do think the Mike McDaniel offense for Los Angeles is going to help things and then it's it's expensive. But I think Joe Burrow could have a crazy season like four 800 passing yards if he's healthy he could have us and and we're talking about an investment now at this point where four or five years ago he was a crazy crazy card number that he is there now. Like I the Bengals have the easiest schedule offensively for the for the production this year and if Burrow is healthy. You have Jamar Chase, you have Tegans, you have Chase Brown. An offensive line that we think is good. It's not fun. We're talking about guys we mentioned five years ago, but I kind of think Joe Burrow could have one of those crazy seasons. Yu-Gi-Oh Well, there you go, Joe. Ro. You haven't. No, no, I, I think that's it. I was just going through and I was finding some of these, pricing for some of them a little surprising. But Yu-Gi-Oh we'll probably touch base, what, in a week or two? Yu-Gi-Oh I mean, can I just ask, is Josh Allen, is there any upside with his base PSA 10, 400 bucks being 480 bucks right now? I mean, here's the thing. He, he's another guy. He has to one-of-one in the playoffs and make a Zebra He has to accomplish so much to have a significant spike. Yu-Gi-Oh Cuz like, let's say that car goes up to 520 if you, if the normal per. I know we've had this argument before, but if a normal guy buys that right now on ebay. Yu-Gi-Oh With shipping fees, you're paying five and a quarter. If you then as a normal person go and sell it. Let's say it goes up to 550, you are still like losing money. That's what I mean. With like stuff like that, it has to go up so much significant. Now granted, if you're doing the card show flip, maybe, but even then I don't want to spend 480 and maybe make 20 bucks. I guess. Like, I, I, I've been waiting to see why, where he's at as far as his pricing goes. Like, I know he's expensive, dude. I know he has a huge fan base, but to the point of like, he hasn't actually one-of-one you know, never been to a Zebra Bowl. That's what I mean. Like, he hasn't been to a Zebra bowl, let alone one-of-one one. So it's like, and Lamar Jackson, by the way, is $425. Like, he's right behind him. Can I be the, can I be the devil's advocate just in this scenario? Because I, I think I agree with you guys, but could Josh Allen be the NFL's version of Victor, Victor one-of-one Like, you were right about that at the time to sell him. Nobody wanted to acknowledge it, but there was that hype period where you just as we got to the finals, that was it. Josh Allen during the regular season. I don't think there's anything to do. I would agree with you but if they one-of-one two postseason games, if they get to the AFC Conference championship, like, that is on the precipice of the Zebra bowl, that's very much achievable for this Bills offense. And there are a lot of people that like Josh Allen. He's probably one of the biggest, I don't know, faces in all of the NFL. And he got the Haley Steinfeld factors, like, top three. Could. Could there be like a. Could there be a moment where Josh Allen ends up being a sell high right now? Because at this point, right, like, that's. That's where I'm. I just advocate two weird moments. Like, let's say they go on some sort of weird run where they're 10, 090 and he's like the front runner halfway through the year for mvp. Sure. If it spikes. The playoff thing gets tough, though, because my. If you're going to roll with him through the whole season, through two playoff wins, it's like, all right, going to the AFC Championship, but I think he's going to the Zebra Bowl. I almost think people like that are going to be hard pressed to be like, well, I'm selling now because if you've wrote to them that long, I think he's going to the Zebra Bowl. I think he's gonna one-of-one Maybe, though I'm not. I'm not discounting it. I just. Yu-Gi-Oh I worry. I tell you last thing. By the way, the only other guy I've actually bought this off season is Bryce Young. Your boy Bryce Young is cheap. That team wins games and that's not a great division. So I actually think Bryce Young might have a decent little season for himself. The fact that Jalen Hurts is 39 is kind of shocking to me. But get. He's one of the few. When you go start going through all these QBs and you look at like their pricing over the last year, for the most part, it's a steady incline. Like they've just Tribute up over the last year. Now, granted, they one-of-one the Zebra bowl last year, so it's gone two years. Two years ago. Yu-Gi-Oh Wait, so then what is the. Oh, wait, did they one-of-one last year? No. Why? Can I remember who one-of-one the Zebra bowl last year? The Seahawks. Oh, Seahawks. Eagles blew out the Chiefs. So then, dude, I could. That's ridiculous. That's weird. Yu-Gi-Oh you said that. I was like, I know it wasn't the Eagles, and now I can't think of who it was. Yu-Gi-Oh Seahawks. Okay, so Darnold Jalen Hurts is then an outlier in this whole Scenario because he has seen a drop where everybody else. I mean Brock Purdy, Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson and on that list you have active right now. Are there only two active Zebra Bowl? Oh, three Mahomes, Sam Darnold and Stafford. Are those the only three starting quarterbacks? How dare you forget my Aaron Rodgers. How dare you. Is he still in the league? What a stiff. I thought he was yelling at Pat McAfee about vaccines or something. So four. That's what I mean though. That's crazy. The guys you just talked about. Dude hurts for most part. Yu-Gi-Oh The. Almost all of these have either been even and or just slightly up. Not Jalen hurts the city, not the team. But like they've got two Zebra bowl. He. I mean they one-of-one one Zebra bowl but they've been to two in the recent years. I just. I guess I'm just shocked. He is a robin. He's a robin on his own team. Yu-Gi-Oh Saquon is like has captivated the audience over there. Oh well. Anyways, Joe Rotowire, thank you. Yu-Gi-Oh no problem. Probably next week for the is a fantasy show next week on our YouTube. That's what I'm aware of. Yu-Gi-Oh that sounds about right. All right, sounds good. Thank you sir. We'll see you next week. Thanks, Joe. You want to do voicemail bag or you want other topics? Just two other Zebra quick notes. I had some other crap but I'll save it. Pardon the nonsense. That drops tomorrow. We're doing it every Friday night. That's a little debate show. Should be fun. Justin Steele, our boy made his first rehab start. His. Oh, his first rehab. He was fine. I mean I wouldn't. I wouldn't. It was fine. Wait, what do you mean? Justin? Not bad. It's fine. Maybe a little more gym time for Justin. Are you giving Justin? He's not even on. Maybe. I'm saying maybe I wouldn't be taking phone calls. I'm not the gym maybe. I have no idea. I don't even know what he did. Sturk told me because he's a Chicago guy. That's it. I'm kidding. Justin, we love you. You're doing great. I think you'll enjoy voicemail. Tell me Larry called in. Well, I think he did. I just saw it. Looks like there's a voice. Larry, I hope it's to accept our invitation to come to the studio. By the way, let's do a little sponsor shout out. Oh Yu-Gi-Oh please. Oh actually I do. Okay. This is a no good. Nope. I apologize. I didn't have anything other Than what we were gonna. The sponsor. So if you got something else, I actually have an update on Haywire it. Hey, hey, Stack. Haywire, the bad guy from prison Break. I have an update on Haystack. We met with Steve Sloan, owner of the company this week. They're a sponsor of the show. We talk about uploading the ebay stuff and all that, and it's great. I didn't realize they were doing this. They are now putting kiosks in card shops. Yu-Gi-Oh you go in, scan the card, and then you can get offers from people and from the shop owners going forward. That's actually a pretty cool thing. And I told him, I'm gonna call Shep. If you listen to this, you better. As much publicities we give. Shep, listen to the show, for God's sakes. I think we got to get one of these kiosks. And Sheps, we could. We could go check it out. When we were at the national, he had talked about that. I think we talked about it right afterwards. So it is something that not only are they doing at shops, but they're also going to be doing it at other card shows as well outside the national. Makes sense. Yu-Gi-Oh I think, like anywhere where it's like, oh, I don't have to have a table. I don't have to have a shop in order to sell my cards. I could actually have this access to this where it's like you scan your cards and it goes out to a network of buyers. I think that's amazing. And it makes. It cuts out so many other, like, you know, I don't have to ship. I don't have to do like all the other online fees. Advertise nothing. Yu-Gi-Oh Yep, that's good. So there you go. SCN voicemail this week. Brought to you by Haystack. Boom. Friend of the show, Ebay live this Sunday will be more. There will be more. I mean, why not just go ahead and bang them both? Because, I mean. Well, I just. I was using my haystack this morning, in fact, so it only makes sense that we cut right over to. So I got dressed up. No, I don't have to. Hey, I have to use my haystack. Don't touch me. But it will say the ebay live this weekend will be another ragtag event of non sport, mainly all Disney starting at 6:00pm East Central Time, 7:00pm Eastern. That is Mountain Time. Would be what? It'd be five. Be five. Yu-Gi-Oh How about Pacific Time? Obviously that's gonna be four. Okay, last one for you. Hawaii. I don't know that one. I don't got that one. That would be nine. Excuse me. Eleven. Five hours behind la, I believe. Is it really? I think so. Five hours behind now. Let's go. Doesn't matter. I can tell you what most isolated island in the world. I know that in the uk I could tell you what it would be. Yu-Gi-Oh because you're six hours ahead of us. They stink at seven. Isn't it six out of east coast? No, I think it's six out of US Central. Because I do time. They. They've got different time zones in all of Europe. Not. But you. UK and Ireland is the same one. I Goldin care about that island less if I tried. And it's not even an island. It's connected to Asia. So you lose on all accounts. SCN voicemails brought you by haystack front of the show. Here we go. Asia. What? Europe and Asia connected. Yu-Gi-Oh but I mean, it's not an island. They are island. I mean, Ireland's an island. That's not a continent. I'm talking about Europe. Okay, okay. I'm not arguing. Okay. I said UK before. You just want to push back today. I'm not wanting to push back. Jesse comes in with his freaking Bob Ross swagger. Hey, guys, Happy trees. Look at me freaking go in the hair. Yu-Gi-Oh he's smug. I mentioned the haircut. He said, oh, you're a good haircut. Yesterday I didn't smug about it. I can't help my stupid Funkles on there echoing like an idiot the whole time. I can just hear you and Sam going, that sounds fine. The only person that's fine. It sounds fine. Said in the chat. Whole chat. Yu-Gi-Oh Nobody had the heart to. Hey, guys, if you're in his chat, have just be honest with him. How are those voicemail coming? They're good voicemails. There we go. The voicemails. All right, fire it up. Voicemail. Larry this week. No, I don't want to break that wall with Larry. Yu-Gi-Oh that's why I don't think so. If he. If he doesn't want to talk to us, I think it's just like keep rocking in the free world, you know what I mean? All right. Yu-Gi-Oh That's for both of you. You're welcome, dad. Neil Young. There you go. You're welcome. All right, here we go. Play that voice. This message is brought to you by Apple Card. Larry, come to Nashville. I'm looking to. To sell. I got probably about. About thousand dollars in Caitlyn cards that I need to sell for that for a vet bill. And I'm wondering if I should wait until the. The playoffs start or if I. If I should bet on the fever winning it all and then cash in big or if I should do it before the playoffs start. So that's it. I have. Hang on. Before we continue. I just, I'm looking up. It's 602 area code. Don't. Don't ruin the. I just. I've got a fear. Off the. Off the record, please be quiet. Okay, Larry, I know that, that the big guy doesn't like when it, when this stuff runs over too long. So I love how I paused before he got to that point. We're not even halfway through by the way. I'll tell you right now, Larry, if this vet thing is real. I don't know if it is. I'm. You know what? I'm gonna assume it is. I will put up a GoFundMe on the SCN page. We'll pay the thousand bucks. That's a promise. By the way, side bet on that GoFundMe and we'll get electric bike for Papa Gio as well. Just I mean Zebra zero. Are we just doing one voicemail? Just Larry today. What did you just say? Say a little side bet on the GoFundMe and we get a little something for a electric bike. What's the bet? Why don't we just have the gofund, okay? If it's not real, let it go. The worst timing of all time for producer. Leave Brendan alone. I'm just saying you want him to talk more? He'll never. You got to come in loud. I can't even hear. He just mumbles. I'm just kidding, Brandon. The GoFundMe is 1500 dollars. 500 for an electric bike for the, for the drinking and fractor over here. Can I drink a bike and drive Drink and drive bike. Can you speak when you're not drinking? I'm not drinking. That's what I mean. Well, ding, ding. Electric bike for Papa Gio and Larry's vet bill. Anyways, go ahead. All right, we got like 80 seconds left on this thing. I don't know, maybe we do. I hope you guys answer this one and help me out a little bit. I noticed on the last calls there was a lot of, you know, poking fun and making fun and I haven't gotten, you know, any advice or anything like that yet. And I know one of the guys that you don't see on the, on the screen. You mean Papa Geo said he, he, he said, oh, he put all of his money in one thing. Well, when the president of the United States starts his own from bitcoin, I don't see how that's a, you know, how there's much risk in that. And so, I mean, I can, you can look back and you know, and say, well, that sometimes we don't have a crystal ball. He wants to know if he wants to bet. Wants to bet money on Caitlyn Clack. You do the best Larry. He wants you know how to bet on Caitlyn Clack on the fever, right? He's talking about Larry. Listen to me. Larry get Larry. You one-of-one We are pay. I don't even think the vet is real. Give him whatever. If the vet give him. Even if the vet is wrong. We are getting you a PC card of anybody, any, any WNBA star you want, buddy. You are the greatest caller. We are getting ready to rename this the Larry voicemail hotline. Have fun following that up. Larry, reach out to us. Our numbers are all over Facebook, all over the Internet. End it right there. No more voicemails after that. You want to top. You want to try? Give him a couple. He started late. Give him a couple. Oh, my God. By the way, thank you on. I hate to even commend this crowd who I've always thought are just. Just the worst deviants in the world. The YouTube crowd is crushing. I go, you know how, you know YouTube's good. Nick Andrews, who lives and dies by YouTube numbers because he's a child. Just kidding, Nick. You're a good person. He texted me and he was like, dude, your YouTube's killing it. Yesterday, out of the blue. Oh, I had. I looked. I was like, actually, for us, it is really doing well. So thank you. I saw like the other one was like, our last episodes are doing really well. I'm getting really sick again. It's not good. I swear to God, if you keep it doesn't hurt. All right. All right. Oh, my. Hey, Mike and Jesse, Tim Fraser here from the Whiskey Geeks. One time guest on the Hobby Nonsense podcast. Never been asked back. So, Nick, what makes you think we want to hear you here? They didn't suck. There's just not as much overlap between Whiskey and non sports stuff. But there was some at least. So. Yu-Gi-Oh right, Jesse? Just joking. I was amazing. one-of-one this is insane rambling. Quick question for you guys on the baseball front. Do you see a spike in the market around award season? Would people like Kevin McGonagall, rookie of the Year and possible Sky Young winners? Do you see a spike in the market in their cards? And when do you see that spike around award season? Thanks so much. I'll take my answer offline. Bye, guys. Thank you, Tim. Yu-Gi-Oh thanks. Here's a tough thing some of those awards are. One is, aren't those awarded after the playoffs? Yu-Gi-Oh MVP is for sure. Cy Young and Rookie of the Year. After the playoffs or. No, after the playoffs, but before the World Series, it's tough because everybody's like, oh, if they're not still there, like McGonagall, let's say he wins Rookie of the Year but they're not playing anymore. You know, that's why that's been like. That's a common thought. It used to be a thing. Hey, if somebody's winning an mvp, it's going to ramp up. But it's like, Yu-Gi-Oh if they haven't been playing for three weeks and then they one-of-one it and then we're going to the off season, there's not a lot of spike, so you have to be very, very careful. When have they been playing? All right, next up, hacking over here. Hey, what's going on, guys? So, GEO squared, what's going on, buddy? And then of course, Jesse, AKA Love Lightyear. So this is Donnie. Hi. All right. I'm just kidding. Kidding. Jesse, don't. Don't get mad. Don't go to the bathroom and cry. My own serious north here. I'll be very curious. I understand PSA is like the leader now because of the liquidity. Right. But when did that happen? What happened before Beckett was Becca was a big deal. But if Influencers or other people start pumping Beckett, well then Beckett could take over. Because if you hold the slabs in your hand and you didn't know any better and you were blindfolded and you said, hey, where would you put your most precious card or. Or your collectible? I think most people would choose the Beckett lawn because it, it feels a lot better. I do understand what he means by sure, it is thicker. It's thicker, it's got subgrades. Sure. When did it start, by the way? About six years ago. Covid was really the turning point. Beckett as a company just went like, just fell apart. Beckett lab over there. No, by the way though, back then there were not really. Jeff O. Was the only noticeable voice in the hobby. He had just come in and he wasn't really in here pumping up grading either. We came and we started working with SGC because we saw the same thing, like, hey, this company's doing good work not being talked about. So Beckett before that was the king. But about six years ago, PSA just ran with it. And then Beckett shut down and had weird corporate crap. And then sure, people started talking after that. But the resale value. I don't have a good answer, but resale value has been king ever since. And PSA is 10x. Going to. Back to his point though. Like you, if you did have one in your hand, do you have a preference? Because I know what I would Pokemon. I could make an argument for both. You the only one I don't like. Although. But I like it by visual. But like if I'm holding it, the SGC is too big for me. When you're holding it, it's like, Yu-Gi-Oh but visually like the Brady set. I put an SGC after our sponsorship ended. I like the look of that card. Otherwise. Yu-Gi-Oh like if you want the square, kind of bulky. Beckett, I'm like, yep, if you want kind of the skinnier, like, hey. I will say for RPAs though, patch auto deck is still by far the best. Really. I, I Goldin tell you about an RPA off the top of my head what that would feel like, but I just know what they. I was sorting through a few of my slabs the other day and it's either PSA or cgc. And I think CGC kind of copied PSA as far as like how they make theirs. There is something about the best glass. Well, plastic, whatever it is. The, the Beckett one just. I actually hate the feel of it. It. It. It does feel like the most protective of them. But I do not like the feel of it in my hand because it feel. It's got sharp. It's got. I shouldn't say sharp edges, but it's got a more sharp edge than all the other ones. And, Yu-Gi-Oh it's just the. There is a bulky weight to it that, yes, I get it's protecting the card, but at the same time, how many of us are putting it out, like, on the gun range, you know, like, I don't have to have that much protection. Nine times out of 10, I just wanted to be able to sustain a fall if it were to fall off a shelf or something. There you go. Second Amendment. Jesse over there. Great. I acknowledge the existence of guns. I do apologize. Thank you. All right, jeez. This one is a long. No, no, we're good. Fire off a couple shorties. See here? All right, Here we go. 25. Larry's the star of the show. Hey, guys, this is Ryan. I just wanted to reference Monday's show and ask Mike that you never invite a Kirk Minahan like, character to recur on a show. I used to listen to Yu-Gi-Oh back in the day all the time, and that dude was the bane of my existence. So Kirkman, old host, who has been inspired me to start podcasting in the first place, by the way, years ago. He's a psychopath. Zebra talented, Absolute psychopath. But one thing he was a genius at was developing characters. Here's my pushback. What was that guy's name, Ryan? Larry. Larry is now a recurring character, and I would argue the most talented guy on the show. Is that what he was talking about? Larry? Well, Larry's the only. I said last time when we got these developed. I think it's fun when the world grows. You get all these weirdos who become part of the world. Larry is welcome at My House anytime. You want to go swimming. I want to go for a diploma. Don't tell him. Anytime. Just. Just bring him on. Hannah, cook him a nice dinner. Larry's good. He looks cool. Oh, Larry's a Geo. Hey, if you ever go to Moby Dicks, Larry, you and Geo, anytime there's. I mean, if you want another one or two more commenting about your decline. Bench. Oh, is it Donnie? Did Mike just flex on how much he can decline? Bench. I have better shoulders, by the way. Sounds kind of like. Well, he spoke. He spoke louder. Oh, give him a break. I did. Like, dude, your arms are Zebra short. I'm sure of it. But, like, nobody goes to the combine and. Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh but did you see the dang Klein bench press. Like seriously, like seriously cool it on the flex. Hey, the real question though. Well, that wasn't a question. So let me get your guys thoughts on buying new product of Active Goats. This would be like the first year of like licensing. Is that a good long term play or is that cool as gold? Yu-Gi-Oh not bad. Jesse made the point earlier. I kind of co signed with that. On goats. Yes. All right, thank you very much. Let's see, we got one other one. Hurts the shoulders, man. All right, here we go. Hey, this is Craig Lloyd. Already. I don't know first names. I don't know but I'm excited. I don't know, it could be nothing. You can reach me at Craig Lloyd. Craig, Craig Lloyd dot com. Sorry. Doing it now. Give you that because I don't want my phone number on the air or whatever, but I got a project I'm working on that I think y' all might be interested in and if you can give me a call back, I'd love to share it with you. Oh, thanks so much. He caught himself. Is that it? 917. Can we call Craig real quick and just set up a time to talk about. We don't have time today. Can we just touch base with you want. You want to go ahead and call? Yu-Gi-Oh just a quick. I like to make one phone call per. We can't call him because he's sitting here. So. Although God knows we hear his phone. Craig at Craig Ed. I have it on Craig. Com. Craig@craigload.com. interesting. I'll put it in vibrate. Hey, this is Craig. I'm unavailable right now. Please leave a message and I'll get back in touch with you. I don't think we can. That's okay. I don't know the legality behind voicemails. Okay. I mean, it's a good one. We'll see. We have one more. I'll call it. Oh, sure. Here's my tip for the show. I saved all my wisdom for the very last by Aaron Judge coming back in a week. Oh, running away at the wild guy. I've been buying Aaron Judge stuff. It's down a decent amount. He's coming back and that team's going on a run. Even though I hate him, he's still not back next week. I think they're winning one-of-one Oh, that's what I mean. Yu-Gi-Oh Aaron Judge. By the way, guys, if you've been listening to this and you're like, hey, I could leave a better voicemail or I've got good questions, dial SCN413 is the area code. Dial SCN.413, dial SCN. All right, there you go. Last one. We'll call it. Hi, this is Sean from Champaign again. Apparently I'm your first bad caller. Also, Mike, Larry Bird on God's green earth is never going to be the goat. And I think you just need to accept that. one-of-one my question, if you want to mute that real quick. Better shooter than Jordan. Better clutch shooter than Jordan. Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh I mean, not even close. one-of-one three MVPs consecutively. Michael never did that. Swept your goat, Michael Jordan in the playoffs. Jordan never beat him in a playoff series. Never had a guy like Larry like Scotty Pippen playing next to him. So that's fine. I mean, not even close. Better passer. You think Michael Jordan ever cut his own grass? Please. So, I mean, that's fine. If your goat is a guy who shows up and beats a bunch of crap teams in the finals and then like a baby retires because he knows he's gonna get beat by Hakeem. Fine. And then goes to the Wizards to just deteriorate. That's fine if that's your goat. Some guys like that. Some guys care about. My goat is somebody who beats unbelievable competition at the biggest stage. Magic and Kareem. An aspect of your goat is also that they cut their own grass, though. I mean, he cut his own grass, paved his mother's freaking driveway, by the way. That's how we heard his back. Magic Johnson drove up to the house and he was on his track day. Yu-Gi-Oh I mean, that's cool. I mean that. I mean that. That's got my picture with Magic John. That's my definition of a goat. I mean, if your definition is beating a bunch of losers in the finals who never returned and never one-of-one aside from him, fine. I. I like mine to play great competition and, I don't know, one-of-one awards in regular. Good. So you like Larry? Yes, that's fine. But was. Do you think that Shohei Ohtani inserts are going to hold value in 20, 30 years? Just like the goat Michael Jordan's have. Would love to hear what you guys have to say on that. Okay, bye. Another stupid take by our boy Sean. Sean and Champlain. Ohtani is not the goat either. A goat. Right now Barry Bonds has seven freaking MVPs. I mean, I guarantee Bonds can take way more steroids and perform than Ohtani could. Good. Can we. Can we go ahead? Yes, they are. There's multiple goats and. Well, it can't be goat. That's the thing. It's an over greatest of all time. Ohtani is an Absolute legend of the game, and maybe he'll make a push for the goat to be fair. And I think, yes, his question is, is the answer is yes in 30 years. You know what Ohtani has, too, that Bonds, Ruth, none of these other guys have in baseball international appeal. His market is way more popular than any other baseball player. And if you said, hey, you know, we're bringing back. Gun to the head. Gun to your head. If I said, what is Otani's market size in terms of actual guys who like him, collect him, want to buy him, compared to whoever number two is, any other baseball player, I bet it's five to one. Yu-Gi-Oh sounds right. Maybe 10 to one. Like Otani's market is, you're saying currently popularity. Yu-Gi-Oh So why is he not a goat then? Or the goat? Well, because he's not as good a baseball player as Barry Bonds. Barry Bonds one-of-one seven MVPs. I mean, his stats are ungodly. He could get there one day. I mean, but Barry Bonds was using, though, right? Probably. Do I know Ohtani's not. That's what I'm saying. He's not there yet. Could he. Could he get there? Absolutely. But to answer his question, Yu-Gi-Oh I think his market is safe long term, just because I think it's way more popular than any other baseball player ever. To be fair, I would say the goats are Nubian, Alpine, and La Mancha would be the biggest goats. There's also boar and kiko in Spanish, but those are not as popular. Is Crow Armstrong gonna one-of-one this year? Larry, over here. Yes, by the way. Absolutely. These are all goats. They're literal goats and no one talks about them enough. That's right. So give them the respect they deserve. Pca fan of the show in the past. I sent him a message yesterday. I haven't heard back. Oh, no. He's grown in popularity a little bit since he was on here last time. So, Pete, I think I still have a thing or two signed by him. Oh, I guarantee you Pete was awesome on the show.
