A massive 10 million card backlog has forced PSA to announce that they are officially shutting their doors for value submissions of all levels. We're going to talk about what that means for your collection, for the liquidity in the sports card hobby and so much more. Let's get into it now. Hey everyone. Welcome back to another episode of Cards on the Table here inside the Arena Club studio. Inside of Cards hq. You've got me teapot in the captain's chair today along with Scotty B. Carter. And we have some really, really big news and not really the news that a lot of people wanted to hear about. Guys, and it is official, I think you talked about this a little bit last week. Rumors have been swirling. PSA has announced that they are actually shutting down value service orders at the level of value bulk regular value value plus value max. Basically any of the more affordable ordinary channels that people submit their cards to psa, all of those are now being shut down due to a 10 million card backlog. This was announced earlier today and they're saying it's going to go to into effect within the next few days. Some are saying Sunday. That means that the lowest level now that you'll be able to send your cards into PSA is at 79.99, which is the regular service level. So that obviously has a huge, huge impact on all of these lower dollar cards. This is really big news. I want to get all of your opinions. Actually, Carter, I want to start with you on this because I think there's probably an impact to Cards hq. We've got the service counter, we've got so many things. What's your reaction to this? What do you think this means? I don't think anyone would have expected this for the ones, for the people that have been in the hobby since COVID when they last did their shutdown. I think PSA invested heavily then and everyone's like, oh, we're good for life. And it's crazy to think that we've gotten to this point and I mean we've 10x the hobby. We've 10x the hobby. We're going to 10x it again, right? That's what this shows, this type of momentum. So I'm very happy that PSA is making a move to try to help with the, with the turnaround times. I think they try to do a couple of weeks ago, make some adjustments with the minimums and stuff like that, getting the minimums up to 50 from 20 and it just wasn't effective. It just obviously wasn't effective. At all. People are still submitting at record rates, especially on the TCG side. Pokemon is scaling like crazy. It's multiplying. One piece is a huge player. It's out doing sports. So the TCG side of things is what's really flagging me. I'm surprised that they're not just shutting down the TCG side of things. They're just shutting it all down completely. I would hope that maybe sports could have kept going, but it seems like they're just so backed up. I mean, 10 million cards, 10 million cards is an unbelievable number. So I'm, I'm encouraged on the business side of things, you know, that things are going so well and you know, the fact that they got to do this for the better of the market and the better for themselves. I hope that they get out of this and I really hope for real this time this never has to happen again. And I really hope that they can handle 20 million cards at a time because that's what, that's where this industry is going. It really is like, I think grading and I think the opportunity that PSA has, I really think it's going to continue to scale even when we get out of the shutdown. So I'm excited for the future. I'm bummed out for the short term, but I think there's a lot of opportunity for collectors. You know, collectors adjust, collectors don't stop. We're going to continue to operate in the space. We're going to continue to buy, sell, trade, collect. So we'll see how things really shake up from the market perspective. But I think short term there's definitely going to be some changes and some adjustments. We've seen price increases several times over the last couple of years. You know, $2, $3 at each increment going all the way up. I think I looked right now, we had value bulk at 24.99 and then just regular value 32.99. That was like $22.99, like I don't know, a year, 16 months ago, something like that. So they've been raising price. They recently announced more increases to turnaround time and kind of left that more open ended and now this. Scott, what's your reaction to all of this? I remember when they first started increasing prices in the previous boom. I was like, I'll wait until this hype cycle's over so I can submit my cards at $10 a cardigan. That will never happen, guys. I hate to break it to myself, it'll never happen. It's Also funny, they waited till my collector's club renewed before they did this, which I'm super pissed about. And I think people should be pissed because the, the perk of the collectors club is you could submit it value at a better price. That's gone. So like what am I paying $150 a year for? And I think they need to address that because that sucks for everybody who's a member of that club. What can they provide me for that price, you know? But regardless, I am surprised they did it. But the more I thought about it, the less surprised I am because there's no risk for them. In the past when they closed down, they had to worry about sgc, they had to worry about bgs, they had to worry about all these different players. CGC still is independent and they will be either benefiting from this or completely overwhel by this. We'll have to see. But honestly there's no risk for psa and maybe their thought process is we hired a thousand new people, we're going to. It gives us 10 months to train them so when we do open we can get cards out quickly and maybe that's their goal. But I just do think it's interesting how there is no perks to the collectors club, the actual people who are giving them like their annual membership fees. And it's just a really not great situation, if I'm being honest. Yeah, I would have thought there would have been a way, like you said, Carter, that they would have shut down cgc, tcg. Just that's where the glut has come from. Part of that's, you know, I think the partnership with GameStop's been very fruitful for them and a lot, a lot of TCG coming in and there's so many of these cards. Any of the illustration rare, special illustration rares, the Japanese equivalents, all of that, it seems like all of those are just being sent to psa. A lot of them are being sent in and then there's this huge price multiplier. So that would have been my hope is like create a two tiered system and kind of work through and maybe you have to bump the price up even from the 32.99 and have it not be 80 bucks. I just wonder what this means for cards that are, I mean, significantly less than that. Yeah, I mean it's a major factor. I actually think it's not just the cards, it's also box prices. I think people are going to realize here in the short term there's a ripple Effect, right. There's a major ripple effect when it comes to boxes, especially new release boxes. Especially in recent months, the market's been hot on both TCG and sports. And a lot of people rip and for them to either get their return or a good percentage of return, if they hit something kind of medium or like good rookies or you know, low value illustration rares, they got to grade them and that's where they get the multiplier. And you're not going to be able to do that. It's going to be much harder to rip and get a good percentage back because you're going to have to just sell those cards straight out if you want to cash flow from it. Because a lot of those cards are the highest in the early months. So I really think that's actually something that people are going to kind of not notice at first. But box prices I would expect actually to come down in result of this. I see regular service level estimated at 30 to 40 business days right now. The other question is, is that going to also push out? Is that going to be extended out to 60, 70, 80 days? It very well could. I don't know. My guess is they will. I think they'll actually still keep those turnaround times because now they have the ability to do so. They can have it closed down as long as they want. And then just if they get a bunch of submissions at that price, they might be making more money than if they had value open in the first place. The issue with tcg, we talk about this. First of all, I like tcg. I open up TCG packs half the time. So I'm not bashing tcg. PSA is a fundamental part or grading, but PSA in particular is a fundamental part of TCG collecting because the price differences are so large between a raw a 9 and a 10. And so for them, they raised the price like $5. They're like, okay, who cares? Raise the minimum quantity from 20 to 50, who cares? So this is really the only thing they could do to stop it at this point. But I am very interested to see what happens to the people who have have the guts to go in and send some lower end cards at the higher price. And what those new low pop PSA10s are going to be for the short term, there's going to be some cards that aren't rare but with like a pop 10. And there are people are going to pay crazy money for them in the short term and then eventually it's going to collapse. That market will collapse. So Maybe some advice is don't do that because you are going to be overpaying in the short term. Here's the real question. News came out today. They're saying the final submissions can come Sunday. How many cards in the next three days are going to be rush crammed into that 10 million and make it 11, 12, 13, 15 million? How many cards are going to. I have cards sitting on my desk right now that I was going to think about it. I'm not sending them. I don't think I'm going to now because I don't want to wait a year or more to get them back. I've played this game before and I just. I'd rather just have the cards and figure it out. Maybe I greet them with somebody else. Is that the truth? Does this open the door for CGC now? It does. It definitely does. It definitely does. I mean, Beckett as well. Obviously they're. You know, PSA has been reinvesting in Beckett pretty significantly and I see. I see maybe a potential jump in Beckett nine fives. I think, I think you could see a lot more people interacting with that here in the near term where Bega nine fives have really come down in the last couple years. But back during the last shutdown, Bega nine fives were close to PSA 10s. So we could see the gap close a little bit. I don't think we're going to reach that point or nowhere close to it. But then I also think CGC is a big player. They've been growing a lot. They obviously have already a significant market share on the TCG side of things. So I think they're going to get completely flooded because people know that they can get their return value on CGC slips with TCG and Pokemon. I do think they see some massive increase in overwhelm on the sports side as well that I hope that they're prepared for or I hope they're ready for in a sense. Right. Yeah, I think. Did TAG just recently shut down too? They did. I think TAG shut down their submissions too because they were so. It's just cgc. It's everybody. And last time PSA raised prices, CGC within a couple days raised prices. Everybody thought because they're trying to combat. It's not a pricing thing. These grading companies truly don't like. They truly don't want to out price collectors. Yeah, I don't think they do. They really don't. I want to speak on behalf of all them. They definitely don't. They just have to control demand and they got to keep submission levels up because they want a good experience for the end collectors. And if you're waiting a year for your cards and you know they're stuck in a receiving warehouse before they even touch them for months on, months on end, then that's not a good experience. And so they're taking these steps. They put higher prices in place to curve that demand and then make sure that people are having a good experience from end to end. Yeah, another thing with PSA closings, they do own BGs. Well, not them collectors who owns PSA also owns BGs and SGC. So it's not a risk again in that sense because they can just funnel those individuals there and then just get some submissions out there. Plus the higher submissions at psa, it should be fine. But I think this is the rise of the one touch, the rise of the binder of, you know, you can have like those top loader binders. I think it's time we enjoy carts, what they are. We'll see. BCW may be yielding returns through all of this. Shout out bcw. All right, well, that's not great fun news by any stretch. It's pretty big news, honestly. And we're going to have to wait and see what the ripple effects are. But something that is fun. Let's see if we got any, any PSA graded cards with Arena Club, our sponsor. We did some Arena Club Slab packs. Home of the Slab packs. What'd you rip, Carter? I ripped to Emerald Basketball. Emerald Basketball. Let's see what you got. Hey, that guy's pretty good. There we go. There we go. Should be a five time MVP winner right there. He definitely should have been in the conversation. Kind of reminds me of. Yeah, you can make a case. What about you, Scott, what'd you rip? I went with baseball. I was debating baseball or TCG and I went with baseball this week. There was a really cool card that I wanted. Let's see if I got it. Set. Let's see. Oh, Aaron Judge. Oh, that's sweet. He's a beast. That's the complete set. There we go. Which isn't like his best, but still a cool PSA 10. Nice. All right, I went with football. Let's see who you got. Let's see downtown. PSA 10. That is the thing about the football. Slab packs. A lot of kabooms, a lot of downtowns. Wow, that's a decent card. That's sick. Whoever sits in that chair gets downtown. I swear. There you go. I need to sit there next week often. All right. So Arena Club, you can go check out arenaclub.com if you use promo code SCI, you will save 20% off on your first Arena Club slab pack at any price point. So take advantage of that and go check out Arena Club. Okay, let's talk about something a little bit related in our first mailbag topic here. Related to the main topic and that is sgc, obviously owned by psa. They've been largely dwindled down into next to nothing since being acquired. So One customer sent SportsCard Clubhouse on YouTube an email from SGC saying that their order was delayed due to increased turnaround times. SGC themselves have not officially reported this, but customers have recently noticed slower turnaround times in general. I can tell you that Nicholas from our marketing team had a submission that he sent in like November of last year and got it back like a month ago or something. It was. Things have slowed down at SGC for sure. So they're saying current turnaround for regular service is 40 to 50 days. His took much longer than that and we've seen their capacity plummet. We see the GEM rate numbers, we talk about those every few months and they are now doing like tag level volume instead of Becket and CGC level volume like they used to. So let's talk about what this means, especially in the context of the main topic with PS8 being shut down, how big of a deal is this? Are we disappointed in how this business model has evolved under collectors and kind of what's happened to sgc, which was a pretty reputable and respected brand? And is there any path forward to regain any market share here? Scott, SGC is down 70% year over year from last April to this April. Just goes to show when they said they acquired SGC, it was going to be a niche or boutique grading company. That was later. They meant their original message. Yeah, that was like six months after they acquired them and then it shifted. Everybody was worried that was going to happen and then that's actually what happened. SGC is an extension of PSA at this point. They're owned by the same company. I know that they operate independently supposedly, but how much are they? We don't know. We don't see behind the scenes. But it's one of those things where if PSA is slowing down, SGC is going to slow down. And SGC very interestingly actually tried to fill the gap last time PSA closed and they got so bogged down. Peter, who was the might be the CEO, the gm, whatever he was over there, he like would release a lot of really great updates. Even he was pretty silent for a while because they were so overwhelmed. Because people want to see submit their cards to grade and get that liquidity there. I am not confident at all that SGC will provide any relief for collectors over the next year. Yeah. In any way. Yeah. What about you, Carter? I'm disappointed. Like, I. Like I was one that was very high on sgc. I used to actually submit a lot when I was a dealer traveling to card shows really for just the quickness, quickness. And then, and then a lot of vintage too. Like, SGC is known for vintage. And you know, I've not paid attention to like a lot of the vintage markets, but I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of these vintage cards that have normally done near PSA values, right, for their grades are actually going, going down in value and they're becoming less and less because people want those PSA slabs. So I'm pretty disappointed. You know, I think, I think, I think SGC has gone away from their value in a sense of like, hey, we're quick turnaround, we're good service, we got a good slab. We got a different slab. Right? Up charges, no upcharges. Like, I mean, people like the tuxedo slab. There is a collector base that likes them. They have a fan base, they have a following. And I think for a while, I mean, I felt it at shows like people accepted SGC today. It's just not that accepting. I also think SGC had a big opportunity similar to CGC in a sense, where they could have gotten into tcg, very heavy, and they did it. CGC really took that opportunity and you can see that established today. I think SGC had that same opportunity a couple years back. And with the collector's acquisition, I also think that they had another opportunity to do it and they just haven't. And so because of that, they're just dwindling down and it's just disappointing at this point. Yeah, yeah, it is disappointing. And I think the biggest impact is to that vintage market overall, because when you couple these two topics together, if you have vintage cards, where are they going? You're gonna wait. No matter what, you're gonna wait. You're gonna either pay up to send them regular service with PSA or you're gonna wait with, you know, with SGC even longer. Disappointing news. I always really appreciated the transparency, the authenticity, all of those things that they once had. And I think they've just kind of largely been just kind of wound down into corporate, into obsolescence. Well, if you remember, they were a little bit ahead of PSA in some aspects, especially with like the scans on the slabs and getting them in your account and you could see them clearly like they were. They were ahead of the game in some aspects. And the PSA and even CGC just passed them miles and miles ahead. Yeah, door is open. I imagine even some of the smaller, smaller companies will also be seeing, you know, new cards coming in at those, probably at the lower levels, you know, lower, more inexpensive cards. And we'll see how they handle it operationally as well. Okay. There was a huge, huge sale on a somewhat controversial card here. And not controversial maybe in the way that people would think. So the Victor weMinyama Prism Black, one of one with the infamous black curtain in the background. It was kind of ragged on for a while. Fanatics Collect announced on Tuesday that it helped broker a private deal for that card for a $5.11 million transaction, which is the fourth most for a basketball card of any kind. The most, certainly for a Victor Weminyama card. His previous record was his Nebula one of one from the same product that sold in 2023 for $860,000. His Prizm Black Shimmer one of one I think did somewhere in the 5 to $600,000 range. So this is pretty unbelievable. He's obviously having a great playoffs. Remains to be seen if they're going to get past the Thunder or not. As of recording this, they're down 3 to 2. And the big controversy here is that this card was once kind of reported. Somebody who submitted this and got the grade thanked Kurt's card care on social media for their attention to this card. Now PSA has said that they've like banned the use of these cleaning products. And I don't know if they ever named Kurt or anybody, but they just said, they kind of said, well, we have technology to detect if anything's been done to these cards. Well, this one got through the cracks. It hasn't been decertified. I mean, can you imagine if this transaction goes through and then at some point they're like, eh, we're gonna decertify that. We need to call it back for further investigation to see if there's any residue or anything on it. That would be a big deal. That sounds like a story that would happen to you. Hey, you never know. I don't have $5.1 million to see. If you did, they would decertify it. Yeah. So what do we think of this Wemby card overall? It doesn't have an autograph. It's the Prism Black one of one. Does does this impact Prism Blacks across the market which are already very heated? Scott, what do you think of the Kurt's card care situation? What do you make of all this? So the interesting thing about Victor Benyama is his rookie catalog is really messed up, right? When Panini had the rights to have his rookie cards with logos but not the ability to have autographs, Topps had the ability to have his autographs on his rookie cards with no logos. So it's kind of a weird rookie card catalog. And because of that, this is a unique situation where this black 101 is going to have major value and so it's going to be different than other black 101s and I don't think it completely will raise the floor for all of them. This is its own unique random situation. It's one of the situations too where just because this one card went for 5.1 million it doesn't mean like all of the lower end or mid end cards are going to be worth significantly more. I think they'll appreciate because he's playing well but not at the same rate as these really high end cards. But I think this is kind of an outlier. I think the card is kind of ugly as like a baseball card. Fan of the basketball. The black curtain. It really is. I looked at it and like this card is not like attractive to me at all. But the Mariano Rivera rookie card, it's like worse. It's like someone took it at my church gym. Like it's not a great looking card. But I think it's a unique situation and it's interesting about the Kurtz card. Carol. I'll jump into that after I let Carter talk about this card. Okay, Carter, what do you think of this? I mean my initial thing was like God, the Kern. The Kern got 5 million, the Kern got 5 million. I mean this is going, it's alive. I mean listen, like he hit, he hit it on the noggin with, you know, Wemby's catalog of cards, right? It is one of the weirdest times in hobby history with this transition. And for someone that's so significant and someone that's playing so well and his market is so hot. I mean I don't have anything pulled up right now, but I've seen the sales on the this year's Topps, Chrome Wemby autos and they are absurd for a non rookie. Absolutely unbelievable numbers are selling right now and so I'm not surprised by this so obviously the person that purchased this is a big Wemby believer. They've seen the potential. I mean they're down 3, 2 right now. Their odds look against them. But we think Wemby's going to perform for years to come. The risk though is his health, you know, and obviously we talked about that. He was hurt last year, had the blood clot issue. So we'll see how his career ends up being. But he still has a lot of time. Their team's pretty loaded. They're young. So I mean this, this is a purchase that is planning on or hopeful that Wemby is going to win a championship, if not multiple championships. Right. I mean, I, if you want to compare this card, right. To some of the other significant players that, you know their one on ones and what they would sell for. Right. I mean, I question, well, what does The Luka Black 101 now do right. When that gets discovered? Like, you know, some of these other big if. Right. Like, like. But there's some, there's some big players now. That's like, man, that's where I think it impacts other blacks. I agree with that. Now blacks as a whole. No, I agree with you. But I do think this is now setting a new market for this top echelon of basketball players in their prison Blacks. Because we haven't really seen those biggest sales, really. When I think of Prism Black and the significant sales that happened recent in history since COVID a lot of them are football. A lot of the big basketball guys have not sold right. And so. Or been discovered in a sense from the big rookies. So this is really the first, first massive. Massive one. I think that is really, I think market changing for that category. But it's a small category. Yeah. I'm old enough to remember when Trae young's prism black one of one did 444,000. Right. That was. I don't know if that's worth now, but I like the Nebula more personally. I've always liked the Nebulas as like my favorite parallel of anything. Well, it hides the curtain better. It doesn't match the curtain. He's like a space curtain. He's out there. He's in space. It's a project Hail Mary, but Scott. Well, okay, so let's, let's hear it about Kurt's Juice, as our friend Neo calls it. Kurt's Card Care. So first thing, I did run a poll on this because we had the Aaron Judge Super Fractor autograph that sold for about the same, right. Over $5 million. Adam Gray, friend of the channel, he actually ran a poll on his channel and talked about, like, is this the most important victory? I mean, is this the most important Prism card ever made? I don't know about that. You guys know prison better than I do. But I think the comparison to the judge is very interesting. And 70% of my audience said the judge is better, but my audience is very baseball focused. What do you guys think, as collectors of more than just baseball, is the more significant? Judge has done more. Judge has done more. Absolutely. Absolutely. Yeah. At this point, I mean, same number of championships. This is hype MVPs, and this is a guy in his third strike. Yeah, you know? Yeah, I know. It's. Yeah. I mean, I think the judge is a lot bigger now. I think they're pretty similar. I think if you look back at 2017 and, like, the amount of cards those level of rookies got, then comparing it to this year's Wendy's in a similar boat when it comes to quantity of high quality rare rookie cards. Right. You know, that people care about because there's definitely some discrepancies and some opinions on the unlicensed stuff. Right? So, like, when you actually compare those years, you know, normally a 20, 23 years can be printed to the moon, and it was in a lot of ways. But because he didn't have the autos, he probably actually comparative, you know, outside the base cards and, you know, the higher pop, you know, parallels. But the rare stuff, the quantity is probably a little bit closer than people would actually anticipate. And so I'm not actually as much surprised as other people are that those cards sold for similar values. I do think the judge has more upside. I mean, Judge is a Hall of Famer today. Wemby's not a Hall of Famer yet. You know what I mean? Like, but he's still early. So, like Teapot said, this. This value is driven on hype. Judge is a little bit more established, and Judge probably has some more gradual upside. Wemby either has explosive upside with what the basketball market brings, or a lot of risk. Look at Trigon. Yeah. All right. I don't know if you answered the Kurt's Juice question, but we'll save that for another day. We've talked about that in the past. It's polarizing, I think. I'm of the opinion that there's cleaning and there's alteration, and one should be somewhat okay and the other one should not. But we don't even know what really happened. He just shouted him out. Kurt could have prepared it for him. Might not even have used any alteration tools. Who knows? Who knows? All right, next topic. EBay authenticity guarantee. And there's an issue. I've experienced this almost every time that I've had a card, a raw card, go through ebay, authenticity, and so many others. It's been on Instagram, it's been on YouTube, it's been on Reddit, it's been on X. It's been everywhere, anywhere people talk about cards. And the issue is ebay uses PSA to authenticate these cards. What, $250 and up, or $200 and up or something like that? I think it's 250. That's where I. You'll see it when you buy the card. It'll say, like, authenticity guarantee. On the one hand, this should be a really good thing. Protects you as a buyer. It does mean there's more delays. Your card goes in the mail, it goes to authenticity guarantee. That introduces more risk that it could get lost, stolen. Other things can happen. Damaged. Ideally, it passes authenticity. And then it comes to you in what presents very nicely. Little box. You open it up, it's got the thing in there. It should be protected. The problem is that most of the time, they're like sliding out of these semi rigids, halfway out of it, kind of shifting up into the team bag. And I've seen the card damaged. I have not had one damaged, but I just saw somebody do a video and say, I just bought this. I just bought this card, and now it's damaged. So I don't know how. What do you guys think? How does ebay. I have some ideas. How does ebay fix this issue? What do you expect from a shipping situation like this? How do they pretend this is not a new thing? It's been going on for a while. And is it ebay or is it psa? I think it's psa. I don't know. I don't know what the arrangement is. I don't think anybody knows the details about. I think they go to PSA completely. They do, but you don't know. Like, ebay might dictate the packaging. Sometimes there's the packaging and there's. Package engineering is a big thing. So, Carter, I'm going to start with you on this. What do you think about this? I've recently got packages from them, and I felt similar. Now, I haven't had, like, a poor experience, but when I opened the package, I'm like, man, I like, this could just be so much better. And, like, probably for not much more, if any investment really. So I would personally like to see them re look at this and relook at their practices around packaging. Now I'm really happy that ebay authenticity is a thing. I know people complain about like the delays and how long like cars, like, like I want like to make clear to the people and collectors like this was a proactive move in the industry. There are other industries that wish they had this. And today we've recently talked about a lot of fake cards. Yeah, it's like with the market exploding, there's going to be more of this. So this is a good thing. But ebay needs to prioritize the cards getting to the customers in a good fashion. Right. And so, and it's for both, both sides. It's not just for the buyer, it's also for the seller, you know, if that card's got to be sent back and whatever. Like, yeah, ebay is going to take ownership but then it just, it causes this mess that shouldn't even happen. So you know, now there's a lot of it that's just inevitable. You know, we know USPS can just stomp on packages and run it over. Like we know those, you know, those horror stories happen. You know, they're far and few between, but they happen. So it's not 100% preventable. But they do need to take better steps because I, like, I've gone some packages recently and you know, it's okay. I've gotten slabs, I've gone raw cards. I haven't had an issue, but I just look at it. I'm just like, man, like I get packages nicer than this and just way less work into it too at the same time. Right. So I hope that they re look at this and I hope that, you know, they actually see these issues. And I would assume with the increase in volume of sales, they're seeing the increase in issues and they're adapting to it as we go. I mean I send Mike, we all send our cards to PSA and the other grading companies in these semi rigids. I don't know, I'd be curious to know from the grading companies how often those things are sliding out. If I've ever sent one just in one of those to somebody else or anything. I just put a little piece of painter's tape so it doesn't come out. And I don't know if they're not putting them in there far, I don't know what the deal is. What do you think, Scott? So painters tape is a solution I had or just get a little ebay sticker, put it right on there. That way the card literally can slide out. Literally. It's inside, you're totally fine. It seems like too easy of a solution not to do. But to them, they must not get that many damage claims. If they're getting a lot of damage claims, they would change it. So it must not be damaging that many cards. But regardless if the cards are damaged or not, it's a very underwhelming way to get your cards. Every time you buy a card that's very expensive, the service is great. Like you mentioned, I wish I could opt out on some of the graded cards, if I'm being honest, because I think it's silly to like they're grading the case, not the card itself, which is another conversation. But with that being said, we see all the different sales going on. A large quantity of raw cards are being sent through them right now and they need to fix it. It's super simple. Wouldn't take much time. Yeah, well, I'll send them some Scotty Picard stickers or SEI stickers and that can solve the whole problem. Yeah, I would be curious, I guess, how many claims happen, what that looks like, what that process is like. I will tell you. If I got a package like that without it protected properly in a semi rigid, mailed to me by an ebay seller. What I do is I typically look at the ebay seller and their feedback and how much history do they have. If it's a new seller, like a newer seller, and I see that, I like to try to help educate those people. Whether it's an issue like this or even something as less consequential but still really annoying as scotch tape on a top loader and things like that, I will DM those sellers and say, hey, got the package, thank you, everything looks good. However, you might receive negative feedback for this packaging or for how you sent this. Just want to give you a tip, good luck in your, you know, running your store or whatever. If it's a seller that's got several hundred feedback, a thousand feedback, whatever. I can see they sell a lot of items and they're just being negligent. I leave them negative feedback on ebay and like fix your process because this stuff, you're going to damage a card, something worse is going to happen. It's going to cost you a claim. You're going to have to refund somebody. You can't do that in this, in this scenario. I don't know. I don't know. Hopefully nobody ever gets left negative feedback on their transaction that they sold because of something that happened on the back end of authenticity. I'd like to see this get cleaned up. Can I say one more thing about authenticity that's important? I don't know if this is a real thing, but I saw on Instagram, so of course it's real. I saw it on the Internet. But there was a guy who bought like a. Sold like a $50,000 card, and it didn't go through authenticity guarantee. There's a couple ways that could happen internationally and a couple other things that can happen there. And they did like a credit card chargeback and ebay sided with the guy who charged back. So it didn't just protect the buyer, he got the card back? No, they did a charge back on the credit card. Did he get the card back? Nope. Nope. The card didn't get back and the guy got $50,000 and lost the card. So it's one of the situations where it is a good program. We just need to get this one thing fixed. Yeah, well, lots of big news, big sales, big news. What does that mean for grading? I guess we're going to find out. But if you want to check out Arena Club, go use promo code SCI.
