With the World cup in full swing, we have some soccer cards on today's top five Cards list. But it is actually a baseball card that took the number one spot. Can you guess whose card it is? We'll let you know now. Hello sports card investors and welcome to another Top five Cards here inside the Arena Club Studio in Cards hq. Hope you are doing awesome out there. Hope you are enjoying the world copper. Maybe just enjoying a little bit of sunshine this summer. And if you are invested in cards, then you're probably enjoying that too because the sports card market continues to be hot. So let's talk about the cards that are doing the best. And of course, today's top five is sponsored by Whatnot. Whatnot has awesome live auctions every day and night starting at just $1 for packs, boxes, breaks, singles and more. It's a lot of fun and if you scan the QR code on your screen or use the special link in our show description below, you'll get $15 in free credit when you sign up for Whatnot. Okay, let's start the show by taking a look at the overall sports card market. With a market pulse by market movers, things continue to tick up a little bit over the last week. The SAI 500 index of 500 of the most prominent sports cards is up another 0.2%. It's up 3.7% over the last 30 days. It is up almost 28% year to date. Continues to be a hot market and soccer cards are actually driving the market up in the last few weeks. It is good to see the soccer card market helping the overall sports card market out quite a bit in what has been a very hot year. But now let's talk about the cards that are going up and down the most. It is time for today's top five cards. We're starting today with a cold card as we do every week, because it is a reminder that sometimes the hot cards featured on this program can quickly turn cold in the sports card market. So please, please invest carefully. And that is exactly what happened with the cards of Jakob Dobish, the goaltender for the Montreal Canadiens. Dobish emerged as an important piece from Montreal this season. He had quality goaltending. He helped keep the Canadiens in the playoff picture, but expectations grew as Montreal went on and on in the postseason. However, that postseason came to an end earlier than many fans hoped, and even though Dobas had several strong performances throughout the year, the playoff exit was highlighted by the challenge of carrying a young team against more experienced contenders. So whenever a player is Eliminated from the playoffs maybe a little bit earlier than many would have hoped. Oftentimes their card prices start to fall. That's exactly what has happened here. Let's take a look here in Market Movers. Here is Dobish's 2024 Upper Deck Young Guns base card in PSA 10 over the last 30 days it's down a little bit. It's down 8%. Last sale on that card of $472 in PSA 9 down a little more, down about 38%. Last sale of that card, $97. That was $158 card. If you go back 30 days ago, looking at it in raw condition, down about the same amount, down about $37. That is now sub $50. But 30 days ago people were paying more in the range of about $80 for that card. And then finally, let's look at Dobish's 2024 upper deck. The cup rookie patch auto number to 249 in raw condition. That is a $367 card. Now that one unfortunately is on its way down it seems as well. Now, hopefully Montreal will be back next season with another great year. Maybe his cards will heat up as we get into next season, but at the moment they have a downwards trend. But now let's talk about cards going up and we're starting with our investment card of the week. And man, this, this card today is one of your best investments of all time. It is the iconic Mickey Mantle 1952 Topps card. Perhaps the most iconic sports card of all time. Now of course I don't need to tell you that Mickey Mantle was one of baseball's most celebrated stars. Actually played for a long time, 1951 through 1968, all with the New York Yankees. And of course people remember him for his power, Speed, Charisma, his three American League MVP awards, and perhaps most importantly, his seven World Series championships. Unbelievable. Of course, he's a 20 time all star member of the 500 plus home run club. Iconic, iconic, iconic, iconic. And so is his 1952 tops card. Look at this. So the reason why we bring this one up today, we just had a sale of this card in psa condition for $1.8 million. And that is a very high sale. In fact, if we expand and look at the details, you can see that a year ago somebody bought a PSA8 for $1,000,000. And over the last year the average of this card has been $1.3 million. But we just sold at $1.8 million. So things are definitely trending up. Now, do keep in mind that vintage cards are affected by eye appeal, so not every PSA 8 is the same. But nonetheless, there seems to be a very nice trend lined up with these cards, and that is hard to argue. PSA7, we haven't. We've only had one sale over the last year, so we don't have a Trend there. But PSA6, that one's up a little bit. A year ago that was 209, 000. Now it's 213,000. PSA5 up quite a bit. More. More sales of that card. A year ago that was 118,000. Now it's $200,000. As of the most recent sale, PSA 4 has jumped from 72,000 all the way up to $156,000 over the last year. And PSA 3 from 66,000 to $149,000. If you guys want to park money in sports cards as an investment, this has been one of the best investments out there. But now let's talk about players playing today. And in the number five spot on today's list, we're going with Giovanni Reyna, the midfielder for the United States national team. Reyna has been one of the key attacking pieces for the United States during the 2026 World Cup. He's helped guide the Americans into the knockout stage, which we will soon be in. Of course, Reyna has creativity, vision and the ability to unlock defenses. So how will the US do in the rounds ahead? If they succeed and make a deep run in the knockout stage, as many hope they will, Reyna will likely play an important part in that. And maybe some of that speculation is causing his cards to go up. Let's take a look here in Market Movers. We're looking over the last 30 days at a few of his cards. This is Raina's 2019 TOPS Chrome Bundesliga card. This is considered to be his rookie card. The base of this card in PSA 10 condition is a 35 card today. But if you go back a few weeks ago, you had the opportunity to buy that card for $10. One sale of that card all the way down at $10. How about Reyna's 2021 tops Chrome UEFA Champions League green refractor, neon green refractor number to 99 in PSA 10. Still a very affordable car. $26 as of the last sale, but that one's up about 18 over the last 30 days. Here is that same car. This is the gold lava refractor. PSA 9, 21 as of the last sale, but go back a few weeks before that. It sold for $12. So. So guys, we're talking affordable cards here. You can buy Reyna's stuff, his autographs, his low numbered stuff for pretty cheap, but it's more expensive than it was 30 days ago. And here's Raina's 2022 Prizm World cup blue number to 299 in PSA 10 condition. Last sale on that was $60, but you go back just prior to that and there was a sale for $29. So it seems there's not a lot of random cards out there, but the ones that are seem to be starting to heat up. Let's switch our attention to baseball. For the number four card today it is Bryce Eldridge, the designated hitter for the San Francisco Giants. Eldridge has continued to build momentum as one of the most exciting young power bats in baseball, giving San Francisco a potential cornerstone slugger. In fact, in his first 18 games of June, Eldridge hit.348s with 40 home runs and 12 RBIs, continuing to show why he is one of the top prospects in baseball. He's got a lot of power and prospect pedigree. So people are excited about his future with the Giants. Let's take a look here in Market Movers. You can see how that is reflected in his card prices. Look at the chart of how all of these have gone up over the last 30 days. And specifically we're looking at his 2023 Bowman draft. His first Bowman draft refractor card in PSA 10. This is 120 card today, but that is up 122%. That was a 54 card just 30 days ago. This is his. This is the first Bowman auto card non refractor in PSA10. $545 as of the last sale. That was $350 just a few weeks ago. And here is the same card in raw condition. Similar story, $206 as of the last sale. $115 if you go back 30 days ago on that card. How about his Bowman draft Sapphire edition? His first Bowman Sapphire in PSA 10 non auto is $140 card today. You could have scooped that up for as little as $87 a few weeks ago. Similar in raw condition, $26 today. It was 16 a few weeks ago. And then finally how about his 2024 Bowman's Best Best of 2024 Autograph Card in Rock Edition? This one sitting about $55 today. But a few weeks ago that was a $30 card. Back to soccer for the number three card today. And it is Falaron Balogun, the forward for the United States national team. Belogun has been one of the breakout stars of the 2026 World cup, helping lead the United States through the group stage with his finishing ability and attacking presence. In fact, in the tournament opener against Paraguay, Balogun scored two goals in a 41 victory, becoming the first American player since 1930 to score multiple goals in a World cup match. His performance immediately put him amongst the tournament's early standouts and showcased why he has become the US Men's National Team. The US Men's National Team's go to striker on the biggest stage. We're excited about this guy, right? We're excited about the US Men's national team. They may be able to do things this year they've never done before. Maybe they can advance deep in the knockout round. We'll see. But what we do know is that below guns prices are going up as a result. This is his 2021 Prism Premier League Silver in PSA 10. His rookie card. This card is $225 as of the most recent sale. You could have scooped that for $90 if you go back before the group stage started. How about his 2021 Prison Premier League pink ice in PSA 10? $275 as of the most recent sale. That was $190 if you go back a couple of weeks ago. And here's the same card but the base in PSA 10 from 2021 Prison Premier League $165 as of the most recent sale. $65 was the sale prior to that. So that. And here's the red ice. This one in raw condition. You can scoop that today for $50. But you could have scooped that a couple of weeks ago for $30. So it seems like all of these cards are on the rise. We're going to stick with soccer for the number two card today, but maybe we'll go to a different team. How about Lionel Messi? Well, we all know Messi, the forward for Argentina has turned the 2026 World cup into another legacy defensive defining run, leading Argentina through group play as the of course the defending champions. We all remember that Argentina won the World cup back in 2022. And here they are again. And in Argentina's opener against Algeria, Messi had a hat trick, three goals in their three nothing win. And then he followed that with two more goals against Austria, moving to 18 career World cup goals. And Becoming the tournament's all time score scoring leader. He's 38 years old but he is still getting it done. Creating historic moments on the biggest stage and driving massive hobby attention as a result. Here's some of that attention. Let's look at a few of his cards. His stickers have been popular of course. People love the Panini World cup stickers. This is from 2014 in PSA 10. Only a pop of 266 of this in PSA 10 despite, you know, zillions of these being printed. $280 as of the last sale. If you go back to May, you could have scooped it for as little as $190. So that one is up quite a bit. Let's look at his cards. This is his 2014 Prizm World cup base card in PSA 10. $450 as of the most recent sale. That's up 11% in raw condition. It's actually up a little bit more. $63 as of the last sale a month ago. That was $39. Let's look at his 2022 Panini Instant World cup from the last time he won the World Cup. Now this is a more common card. There are over 3900 of these in PSA 10, but despite that it's been going up a lot. $405 as of the last sale in PSA 10. $280 if you go back one month ago. And then finally this is Messi's 2025 Donrus Road to the FIFA World Cup Kaboom in raw condition. Most recent sale of that card was $3,800, but there was a sale as low as just over $2,000. If you go back 30 days ago, this is a nice month to have Messi's cards. All right, we've reached the big moment in today's show. It is time for today's number one card. Here we are with baseball for the Number one Card of the Week it is Jacob Mizorowski, the starting pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers. The biz was in last week's list, I believe at the number two spot, but he has continued to work his way up. Today he is number one, and with good reason. Jacob Mizrowski has quickly become one of the most dominant young arms in baseball, giving Milwaukee a true ace level presence on the mound. He currently ranks first in era, in WHIP and in strikeouts, showing complete dominance across every major pitching category. With league leading production and overpowering stuff, the Miz has become one of the hottest pitchers in baseball and one of the hottest cards in the sports card hobby. Let me show you what I'm talking about. Here's Market Movers we pulled out some different cards for him this week than last week. This is his 2022 Bowman Draft Sapphire Edition, his first Bowman card in PSA 10 condition. This one is now over $1,000, $1,025 as of the last sale. I bet you're gonna feel pretty silly that you didn't buy that card for $326. That's where it was just 30 days ago. And in raw condition. Six similar stuff. $185 as of the most recent sale, but you could have scooped that for $50. If you go back 30 days ago. Let's look at some of his newer cards. This is his 2026 Bowman final draft Super Short print from this year's Bowman Chrome in raw condition. This one has actually been selling as high as around $400. Last sale was $275, but 30 days ago that was a $220 card in raw condition. That one's nice. Here's his 2026 Topps Chrome Black base card in raw condition. Nice affordable card here, but it will still set you back 20 to $30 today, whereas 30 days ago it would have set you back more in the neighborhood of about $10. So that one is. That one's up a good bit as well. Here's his 2026 Topps Heritage Chrome refractor in raw condition. This one is now over $50, but 30 days ago, man, that was 10 to $15 30 days ago. That one is up a ton. And then finally, how about the Mrs. 2026 Top Series 1 Home field advantage in raw condition. $358 as of the last sale of that card. You could have bought it for $195 just 30 days ago. What a month for Mrs. Cards. What a month for the sports card market. What a month for sports sports in general. I hope you guys are enjoying it.
