The eastern conference conference finals continue on ESPN and abc. It's a true card show. That's why I tell everybody it's a true card show. It's not a. It's not an autograph show, it's not a corporate show. It's just basically cards. We got a great show for you. A big show, a king size show. Tell me more about it. Mike, you know what that's about? Do you know what that quote is from? Is it from West Wing? I forget how much of a child you are in terms of your cultural. Just not West Wing, just awareness. Can you tell me what it is from? I'd like to be educated. I can tell you the actor, I believe his name is. Oh, is it Kevin Pollock? It's 100% Kevin Pollock. I can see him saying it now. He's on stage, he's holding a pencil mic. That thing you do the o neater. It's the wonders banging the friggin microphone. I almost sent you a reel the other day. There was the pianos. On Friday night there's a band at a high school playing it. It was actually really good, but I didn't think like you'd care, you were out of high school. No, it was a real. Oh, okay. It was real. No, you're right. I couldn't kill. That's fine. That was a good one though. That was in Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh. One of the all time great movies by the way. West Wing. I'll give you a quick update. Oh, that's okay. I am on. I'm gonna start again, obviously, because I do. It's a nice thing about having back when Back when men were men. Literally back when TV shows were TV shows. None of this seven episode freaking seasons. Oh, go ahead. And Alan, you could. Well not. Alan has the fan on. Alan, stay out of here. Brendan, get in here for a second. We're going to get to card talk in a minute. I have a hot take on Wemby. You're going to love it. I have WIMBY on my notes too. Brendan, first of all, have either one. Have either one of you guys watched West Wing? Yes. Not Reese. Not recently, but back in the day. All right, Brendan, when's the last time you consumed West Wing? It's important. I started re watching it. Okay. Probably three months ago. I'm still in the first season though, because a bunch of other shows came out now. What other shows are you watching? I would like to know. Just. Oh, yes. Oh, I was just catching up on like all the Apple TV shows. Same Friends and Neighbors. Phenomenal. And by the way, I do love the Whatever happened to the Oneiders? Thank you. The wonders. That. That is a great reference to Pittsburgh. I wonder what happened to the one Heater. Okay. Yes. How many seasons do you think were in the initial the first season of West Wing? Jesse, how many episodes? Excuse me. Jesse, go ahead and take a stab at it. In the first season, I'm gonna say 21. Brandon? I'm gonna say 24. Alan, I'm based on this question, I'm gonna say 10 because it's probably the lower amount. Okay, that's a horrible guess. I will just say Alan is actually excluded. It was such a bad guess. 22 in the first, 22 in the second, 23 in the third. Whoa. I'm going to give you the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh in just a second. Hang on. We're going to get more. I mean 23. 23. That's what I'm talking about. Back when shows were shows, you couldn't binge a whole thing at night. You have to. It takes me months to watch this. When I am done with Matthew Santos being elected, I'm right back into season one with Jed Bartlett starting out. Thank you. Spoiler alert. I guess I'm not watching it now. Thank you, Aaron Shortman. Jeez, muscular dystrophy is not a joke. Thank you, Brandon. By the way, my 13 year old son discovered Family Guy which I never watched in its entirety in the beginning. And I actually think the show is hilarious. Don't let him watch that crap. Kids who watch Family Guy turn out like Jesse. They just like, don't do it. Hey. Whoa. Oh. Well, it was either that or Beavis and Butthead. I think it was better than Beavis and Butthead. Oh, my goodness. I watched so much Family Guy when it first came out, and I had the first three seasons before it got canceled on dvd. I bought those. I remember that was the first time in. That was like a non card flip that I could remember because you could flip those DVDs because everyone. It was such a cult classic and it was canceled and like people were like, oh, well, I can't get it anywhere else. The DVDs are out. I could go and flip it for like. Right. Yeah. That's the only person I've ever been. Back when I was actually in shape, I would get that occasion. I could see that doppelganger for seth. All right, McFarland. SCN Rewatchables suck at Simmons. We're coming for you. There you go. All right. All right, Brendan, we're going into cards now. That's enough. West Wing is phenomenal. My dad just started watching it, by the way, on. On hbo. Max. So very exciting. Wait, he'd never watch it? I don't think so. With all your talk of it, I just assumed this was everybody sitting around the pool watching tv. Might as well watch a good freaking show. Wemby hot take. Go sell your Wemby right now. Why e me d@lee. That's a six syllable word. It means now. Are you sure? Absolutely. His pricing. So I'm basing this on his prism and his Prism Silver psa. Tens of both. I've got both them pulled up already. That's weird. The prism silver I bought about in trade to about two months ago from Shep. I think I was in the 1900-2000 range. In the trade, they are now consistently doing 32 to 3400. One spiked at 38. Meh. Other ones involving three grand since the first win. Before that, there were 27, 2800. Mm. There's 5500, 5159 of them. 5105. Okay, first of all, you disagree with this. What is your take on women? So here's my only thing is if I. I pulled up him and I pulled up SGA and. Oh my God. Hold on. Don't. Do me a favor. Don't breathe for just a second and just keep holding. Do I say something? Can't hold. Your lungs are the size of a baby elephant. You can't hold your freaking breath. I had. Wait, a baby elephant's lungs would be Pretty big, wouldn't it? No. Would you know it? You also had. You all see we both. They're doing the same thing. They're doing almost the same money. Yeah. SG is a little bit higher. 32. 35 today. I mean, a little bit, but. But same ballpark. So my thinking there though, obviously pop counts different. 721. Okay. So much less. 20, 80% less. By the way, math. Thank you. The fact that Victor Wima though came in, I would say the Wimby train was so much hotter than anybody else. Right. We can all agree on that. If he is at 3,000 right now and they're. They have a chance to win, do you consider that at all? Are you considering them as a contender? Don't worry where I'm getting to my position. Just. Just represent yours and I'm gonna. So if they have the chance to win, I think there's still more room for that card to grow. This leads me into my overall point and I will get back to the specifics of it. The mic, the macro. After the mic. Is it micro and macro? Those are two. Yes. Micro is small and macro means bigger from a larger point of view. Yeah. Huh. You are the macro host on the show, so. Okay, here's my point with this go. You do not. People who wait to sell at the absolute top a lot of times get burned. I was thinking that, hey, Wemby is going to win the series and win a championship and all this. Here's what I would tell you. First of all, this is the Finals. Nobody is going to care about the Knicks or the Cavs. I say nobody cares. That is going to be the most lopsided line from Vegas coming out for a finals that we've seen in years. Okay. I don't think either one of the teams in the east can win more than one game against either of these teams out West. I think it is such a dramatic difference. Wow. Also, Wemby just played out of his mind. Game one last night. He was good, but obviously not anywhere near the game one performance. And if you look, by the way, through the playoffs, he's done this a hut game or two, kind of an off night. He's been unbelievable. I'm not knocking him, but I think this is the moment because I think people are like, wow, if he does this, it's unbelievable. If they beat okc. Yeah. I think his pricing is as high as if they win the championship. Wait, wait, wait. But if they beat okc, you're not thinking he goes up from here very little? No, you are out of your. Yeah, no, I think so. I think there's already hesitation because you look and say there's 5,000 of these. All right. No, sorry, I have to jump in. I'm sorry. There's. No, you are wrong. Because if Wemby. No, because you have two small market teams right now in San Antonio and Oklahoma City. Okay. If Wemby faces the Knicks. Wemby in Madison Square Garden during the NBA Finals with that global audience, I think his stock goes even higher because you've now made it a global icon versus. And the overhype of the Knicks. I get it. I'm not a Knicks guy either, but great. But Wemby playing in Madison Square Garden in the NBA Finals I think is massive. So I don't. Even if they get swept, I think it puts them on another stage that he's never been on in the NBA Finals. And I think his value in all his stuff goes up. That's my. I think this is the ultimate. It's already baked in because of how dramatic his pricing has changed the last couple of weeks. But that's the thing I don't think it's baked in, considering, is how great SGA also is. I think there's like a lot of fandom split right now as to whether or not he actually has the potential to win this. But either way, the fact that they won game one, I would sell him right now. I think it's a. Because there's the other. Well, I think you're now. You're now betting he's going to beat OKC and win a championship and stay healthy. Like last night, he hit the floor. I thought he broke his wrist. Yeah. So again, wasn't made of glass. He didn't break. That is my thing. I think the smart play is to take the win. If you've had Wemby cards for longer than a week, they are up substantially. Sell them right now. Because the other thing to take and keep in mind, too, it's kind of, again, to the macro point. It's easy for me to sit here and say, I've got Wemby. I'm going to sell him. Oh, he had a great game Thursday night. I'm selling him Thursday. We have an audience. We sell live everywhere. It's easy. The normal person in this hobby, though, it takes time. Either you have to send it to a consigner to list on ebay. You. You have to list it on ebay. You have to go through the motions of listing on social and going back and forth. I think you got to keep that in mind. And I do. I'm not convinced they're going to beat OKC first of all. Although I hope they do. Yeah, I don't think you could be. And I think, I think this is the. I think people are going to overreact so much to this series and are already doing that. I would sell them right now. I guess it's smarter. But you don't think a stock goes up over the next 10 days if they go seven games, I mean the next 10 days he's going to keep getting bigger. And by the way, you mentioned sga, SGA is not popular amongst NBA fans. He's the free free throw merchant. He's all these things and especially his last night, his interview throwing Hardenstein under the bus, which I thought was really interesting. But I think when I think Wemby stock, and I'm gonna strongly disagree, gets even bigger if he gets to the NBA Finals and plays in the guard on that stage. That's maybe my two cents again. I just don't think the. I don't think the juice is worth the squeeze. I don't think he's getting there. Actually. I shouldn't say I think it's a toss up if they win the series, but I do, I just think right now I would take the surefire win and sell the stuff. I don't think it's the worst idea to do it. I just think at this point in time I'm not even thinking of it as a flip. I'm thinking of it as a long term hold. If this is where he's at in what, his second, third year, what is this? His first year is 23. So yeah, fourth season at this point in time. Third season. He's doing so well. Granted he will get hurt at some point, but he hasn't yet. I don't know. Well actually he did. He did get. He had the thrombosis thing, right? He's recovered from that and he's come back and done this. I don't know, like. So here's my answer to that. If you're gonna hold him long term, I would still you. I guarantee if you sold this card tonight for 3500 at some point in the next four months you could buy it less than that. Name another athlete who has. Whose stuff doesn't tank, especially recently drop in the off season. Ohtani's the exception. Ohtani and Mantle. I've said for months, years with Mantle. Those are the only two people who are hobby exempt it does not matter what happens, barring something like, you know, Mickey Mantle becomes a pervert. But you would have to say from the grave it could happen. But you would have to think that with the hype that Wimby has in basketball, he would be the only thing that you could even say would be equivalent. It's not equivalent to Otani. Otani is still much. He could be the number two in all of sports. But yes, I would think that that, that gives credence to the fact that yeah, he could hold his value over the off season. We'll see. He's also not Ohtani, though. The other difference is Ohtani's won four MVPs now in championships and is doing something we've never seen. I mean, he's also one of the best pitchers in the league this year and having great. Wemby is excellent. I think Wemby is going to be the face of the league. I just think I'd be very cautious, honestly. I'm selling my stuff Sunday night. I have my show already planned. I am literally going to auction three or four of my big wimps that night. Let's actually flip it then going over to sga. Would you sell him right now because he's one of the second mvp? Yeah, Much, much safer. He's already got a championship. He's got a Finals MVP, has two MVP, two MVPs, a Finals win and a Finals MVP. There has never been a person with multiple MVPs in NBA history has not been a Hall of Famer. He's 28, so he's pretty much in. I mean he's almost a Hall of Famer now. If he wins another one this year, two and two. Well, how many players have done that all time? He also hasn't had that bike that Wimby just had. Just Allen's point. He's not popular, so. But he has the mid range game. Nobody cares about mid range. And he flops if he wins again, like if he wins this small spike. But I think his stuff already went nuts last year. Yeah, you have already matched your performance on the court. What you're now talking about is how does this guy take over popularity? I don't think he does. He's dull to listen to. He's not Ant man on the microphone. He's not Wemby on the court doing things we've never seen. Seen mid range guys. He's excellent at it. By the way, if you're starting a team, he's a top 1, 2, 3 pick. I think my he's not popular. My optimism for him is given the pricing at 3100 in the fact that like you said he's 20% pop count of Wimby right now so there's not that many out there in comparison. Sure. If he does better I think there's enough Oklahoma market let alone what you think there's even 700 fans in Oklahoma. I actually actually watching the game part of the game the other day I was just like geez that stadium looks kind of tiny. But no, in actuality yes. There's got to be enough out there who are going to be driving that up. Even if they're not huge OKC fans they still love sga. I don't just to push back. I mean Alan said any watching more ball than Bulldog. I where is this love for SGA? You don't think there's more than 700? I mean I know he's not a hobby darling but I still think there's going to be people he's not even a guy yet. Like he's just. I just think he's very, very unpopular. Not in a bad way. He is peaked. He has peaked 100. He has peaked. I think his peak was last year because it was the unknown. Here's a guy that didn't talk he's Canadian, he's good looking, blah blah Canadian after he's Canadian. Wow. Yeah. I take back everything. Haven't had an American born MVP since. But James Harden, he may have peaked performance. Well I don't even know if he peaked performance. No popularity wise it's the cap is in Oklahoma City. Like I've been to games in that arena. It is an amazing place to watch a game. But think about it, right? James Harden, Kevin Durant, a lot of these guys who came at Michael Westbrook, they became bigger at other teams. Right. Because they were in bigger markets. Oklahoma City is capped at where they are. So even if he wins two to three more titles, he's not going to be more popular than he is right now. Wemby is Sky's the limit because they're international factor. Let me SGA is just let's just call it just Canada. But I was with Wemby in Paris three years ago before anybody knew who he was. I did a documentary on him. Check it out on Sports Illustrated. And he was in the beginning of a global icon stage. Now he's going to reach that next level. I can't even begin to tell you how big this guy is. I do like the personality. I wouldn't be Too. The only pushback I'd say is if he goes on. If in three years we're talking, hey, this guy has two MVPs and three championships. It's different now. He's like, okay, Is he top 10 all time at the age of 31? 32. But yeah, I just, I wouldn't be worried to sell him though, because again, there's not going to be a huge drop next year. He's still arguably worst case next year. He went to the Western Conference finals and he's still coming off back to back MVPs. But my overall point is just, I know everybody wants to sell at the absolute height. I think if you're smart, you take your win and you sell your WEMBY stuff now and if you believe in them long term, yeah, I'm in the off season, okay, but, but it will drop. And the reason I know it's going to drop or I really think it's going to drop, especially in the off season, but maybe even very little movement before that is people are already talking like, oh man, it's a prism silver card. Are we getting out of hand with, hey, this is a silver. This is a guy who hasn't won an mvp, hasn't won a championship. Even if he does, he wins one championship. How much of that is baked in nobody else with that kind of popcorn. Basketball sells like that. I understand wemby's an alien. I just start to worry like guys start to look like, man, but it's still literally just a silver prism card. I mean, nothing special. When you make the. What was it? It wasn't technically half court, but around half court shot. Yeah, it wasn't even, it wasn't the game winning shot, but it did help them to continue till they did win the game. Just those moments alone gather enough fandom and enough swell of pride in that player to make people go out and, and watch the clips in the clip to friends. And all of a sudden popularity continues to grow. I think people just want to see him perform well, even if it's not a, oh, he just won an mvp. It's like, oh, he just did something really fantastic. And plus, like you said, personality wise, the fact that he loves Star wars alone makes me a fan. But there's a lot of factors that go into why I don't think you see the same kind of drop off you're going to see with other NBA players over the year, over the summer. So I guess my real question is, is if they win, what is his peak pricing at any point in the next two weeks. And if they lose, what's the drop off in six weeks? Ooh. Should you write it down? I would actually be curious to go back and see because I think if they win this, I would not be shocked to see. So the card is averaging 33 on the last five sales. Yes. Yeah. I wouldn't be shocked to see those at 3750. So even that, though. That's what I mean. So. And you're optimistic. You're saying like another 500. Is it worth it? Not even 10%. Yeah. I'm just kind of like. I would rather just take the surefire win. What if they don't beat okc? It's not gonna sell for it was. It was 2700 bucks a week ago. Mm. I think if they win, I'll just say this. The peak of these pricing over the next. Let's call it 20 days, I think would be 4,000. Absolute peak, I think is four grand in the grand scheme of things, 10 to 15%. Whereas I think the drop off would be he goes back to where he was. If not before, I think he's 2500. Here's the thing. So that's what makes me nervous. Take the win with all of that is in October around when the season started. Two grand even, right? No. 900. $900 was what that card was quadrupled since then. That's what makes me. That's why all the things you said are true. He's popular. He hit the logo shot. Yeah. How much of that is already factored into a guy 4xing his freaking price. Yeah, it just. And again, let's say I'm even higher on him than you are at this point. 4,000, maybe 33. 34,400 today. I'm taking it. Like I would take that all day and just run with it. But Alan literally just sent a picture. He was with him. And to confirm. Oh, dang. He actually was with him. He wasn't just lying. Allen is nipple height. SGA is just weird because again, the popularity is going to dictate him going forward. So. You know what's weird too? I was looking at some of the pricing for Wimby and I looked at some Sapphire cards that have sold recently. By the way, I have cases of that crap still in my basement. 2023. Yeah, because we had a. We paid 600 bucks a box for it. Oh, this is 2025. Top, sapphire tops, chrome, sapphire. After they got licensing and all that stuff. You're saying the older I have 2023 rookie year. So what do you have pricing on the box of the single? No, no, not the wax. I'm talking about his specific card. So I'm looking at the. There's a red and there's a black. So red obviously out of five blacks out of ten. The red was a PSA 9 and the black was a PSA 10. Right. So red 9, black 10. Yeah. They sold on the same day, April 11th. I am curious if I told you that the black PSA 10 sold for 81,000. This is a. Again, it's an auto as well. I don't know if I mentioned that but it's an auto license, all that good stuff. And it's a 10. Sold for 81,000. What do you think the red would sell for? Same time frame they sold single day and red was a PSA9. Same auction in fact. PSA9, PSA9 clean autos on both. Nothing distinguishing one for the other one was 80. I mean so to me I'm going to guess I'm wrong here though. I'd pay more for the red. You pay more for the red? I would, I'm going to guess by the expression I'm wrong but I would say 105 for the red. 105, 63,000. I was kind of. Okay, I was a little shocked honestly I did not see that coming. I, I couldn't find another red that was a 10 to try and price compare. But I did find a black that was a nine and there was another black that sold about a month later. So Those were on April 11, May 9. A black sold for as a PSA 9 for 39,000. It's actually higher than I would have thought because a PSA 10 you would have thought would have been 40. Yeah. So here's a funny one. 2023 WEMBY Sapphire rookie year non licensed PSA dens doing about 1200 bucks right now. 12002025 though which is just a base card. PSA 10 one sold yesterday. 21st. Yesterday. Oh today 21st day 575. That's insane. Well that's. I mean it does go to show like this kind of what we talked about like what happens when they do get the licensing. So the rookie still three rookies, still two X that which I'm glad to see the rookie should be worth more. But yeah, I got to dust those things off. I told Eddie I gotta go find those freaking things. I haven't even seen them. I've forgotten about those. It was such a money loss. It Wasn't funny. We tried to sell those for 2,500 bucks a case, which came out to 250 a box last year at some point, because I was like, eddie, let's just free up the cash. And we couldn't do it. So really, at 2500, maybe 28. It was under three. I know that. Wow. But we paid 6000 a case. Okay. Yeah, I. I thought that was interesting. I did want to at least discuss pricing as far as, like, that. The whole 9 to 10 thing is just confusing to me sometimes because I do. I understand why people want tins. Yeah. I. I do. I don't PC stuff unless it's like vintage or like high end stuff. Yeah. But like, if it's new, I don't want a Brady. I mean, a Griffey PSA9. I want a 10. My only thing is, like, when it is that low of a parallel, when it's out of five. I mean, if you want the. If you say you wanted a rainbow or you say you just wanted an out of five, taste the rainbow, you could say, how you can't do anything about that at that point. Like, there's going to be five of them. I just. It feels like a five is closer to a Super as far as grading goes in my mind where it's like, oh, yeah, well, I would love a 10 in a super, but if I got a seven, what am I going to do? There's only one of them out there. Sure. With five. Yeah. You have a little wiggle room, but there's five of them. I'd rather have it wrong, I'll be honest with you. Would you? Yep. Now, if I was ever going to sell it, I'd say, okay, I have to get it graded because no one's buying that card. Raw. A lot of doubt around it. But I would rather, if I'm just going to keep it forever and display it, put in a nice holder, put in a one touch and then a big holder. Not to see a nine. Absolutely. Or especially a seven. But yeah, nine even. Yep. And there's no difference in price. So much hate on nines. I just don't think they're. We're an elitist, snobby group of hobbyists. That's really what it comes down to. You know what? A out of 50, it's called a goal. 10 sold for same thing. Sapphire Auto from this year. Yes. When did it sell? A little less than a month later. When? May 3rd. So the other ones were April 11th. This one sold May 3rd. Out of 50. 40, 27,000. Oh, that's what the super out of Sapphire me and Eddie pulled sold for. Oh, really? Yeah, it's when we sent to Gold and we sold it for one of our customers. 101 Papa Doshius, the pink auto out of Sapphire Rookies. Is that Jeff? Our guest, Colin. Oh, good. Jeff the card show guy. We're going to talk to him real quick. Let's bring him on. Jeff Roberts, thank you for joining the show. Mike and I are both here for this interview. I appreciate you getting on here. Tell us a little bit about the. How did you get started in all of this? Because I think that was one of the big questions both Mike and I had is how did you get to this point where you've got multiple shows? Now this June's gonna be even bigger. June's gonna be even bigger. I remember going to those show. Hey, Jeff, this is Mike, by the way, I remember going to those shows. First time I met Jeff, he saw me walking around with a Stupid look on my face, as I often have. And he says, hey, what. What are you doing? What are you looking for? I said, oh, it's super random. I think it was, man. Jeff, I don't know if you remember. I think it was 1955 Bowman football. I used to put together vintage football sets. And he says, oh, you're not going to find those anywhere. Except for it might. And he did. He had a whole stack of, like, commons and the stars and everything. I did have some of those. I do remember. That's crazy. Yeah. And I will tell you, too. The only time I've ever been around a show promoter, and again, it was a lot smaller. I think by the time I started coming, Jeff, it was like 2012, 2013. And there were like 30 tables. Yeah, 30. Yeah, 30 tables. About 30 tables. Lunchtime comes around and Jeff. I see Jeff walk around with like a little clipboard or a notebook or. I was like, what is going on here? And I had a table at this one. I was like, what do you. Hey, what kind of pizza you want? Jeff literally would buy pizza for the entire room. That's so cool. I'm telling you, Jeff, that still stands out to me to this day. I've never had a show promoter do anything like that and take that kind of a personal interest. I appreciate that, but as you can see now, I couldn't afford to buy everybody pizza now. Oh, you'd be bankrupt. Yeah, yeah. So, yeah, talk to us, Jeff, about the transition. We go from 15 to 30. I remember the late house even started. Yeah, I remember you started getting up to 100, then the other gym. When did the Nashville Fairground show launch the National? It was four years ago this. Well, no, let's take it back this March. 4. Well, five years ago this March. Well, this is starting our fifth year here, so I guess 2022 or. Anyway. But this is starting our fifth year here. Okay, and when you did the first show, do you remember how many tables? Right, that first one. Exactly. Yeah. We had 350. And then. And then it got bigger every show. I mean, it went from 350 to 450 to 600 to 700 in February. We had 1260 table. He said, so crazy. So, yeah. This is not even your full time job though, right, Jeff? I think I was. I was architect, but I just finally got to retire. I've been trying to retire for the last two or three years, but it's hard to tell clients you've known for 20, 30 years, goodbye. Well, you know, just tell them I'm done. Yeah. Right. So I am officially retired from it because these shows are taking all my time now. I mean, it's not. It's not a hobby no more. It's. I mean, it's 24 7. But, I mean, at this point in time, that you've got to be enjoying it still, I hope. I mean, if you're now committed. The main thing I enjoy about it is meeting people all across the country who is like you guys. I met y', all, and we've known each other now for probably 15 years. And I've got dealers been with me for 15 years and no friends from Los Angeles, New York. I mean, they're from everywhere. And that's what I like about just meeting. I like meeting people, being around people. What kind of. Do you have plans going forward with this show? Because, I mean, at some point, do you think you'll outgrow the fairground area? Well, I've already outgrown it. I mean, I've already told them. I mean. I mean, that's why. I mean, the feet, which I don't. But if I wanted to have autographed guys here, I don't have room for them. I'm glad you don't. By the way, Jeff, that is one thing I love about your shows. There's almost no autograph guests, very little, if any. And there's almost. Here's another thing, Jeff, that I commend you for. There is almost no corporate sponsorship money if you come and set up at a Jeff Roberts show. This is why, by the way, I've bragged about this for years. Not just because you're here. You go and you can get more business and more collecting. You can see more cards because every table is a dealer. It's not like, hey, here's a big PSA booth. Here's this booth. Can you kind of walk me through why you've kept it that way? It's just I do like having, you know, JSA and, you know, maybe Beckett until they got bought out. It's just. But there again is I want people here. I mean, it's more. Mine is a true card show. It's not. It's not autographed show. It's not a corporate show, and I don't want it that way. It's just because I listen to what the dealers have to say, and they don't want it. So, I mean, my dad told me years ago, you need to pay attention to what people, you know, say and want. And then. But they definitely don't work. I mean I have a few autograph guys but they don't charge you three or four hundred dollars a piece. You know, they're more like a deal when I do have them. But. But there again, to be honest, I don't have room for these corporate guys here at the fairgrounds. I mean I'd have to get a space twice this size. No, I think it's good that you, you've managed to keep it pure like it is. Because I think that's one of the things that Mike and I both really appreciate and I think others do as well is like they don't have to come through and wade through all the other things to find the card tables. The card tables are everywhere because that's all it is now. Yeah, it's a true card show. That's why I tell everybody it's a true card show. It's not a, it's not a mount truck. Well, like I said, it's just what it is. It's not autographed show, it's not a corporate show. It's just basically cards. So tell us the show that you've got this coming weekend. Myself Ray, we're going to do some non sports stuff at this show. Pokemon and all that good stuff. This starts Friday, goes through Sunday. Actually I meant to ask you when do like when is like the setup time for the dealers? Can they come today from 2 to 6 and tomorrow morning from 7 to 11? The show starts at 12 noon tomorrow and ends at 8 o' clock. Because I used to cut it off at 6 on Fridays and I finally realized if you work downtown Nashville and get off at 5 o' clock time, you get to the show, it's over. Yeah, right. No, that's great. Friday, I've extended the hours to 8 o' clock and I'll tell you that made a huge difference in February because we had more coming on Friday than we normally do because that give them three hours to shop instead of warn. Now do you find yourself having to turn anybody away at this point for either this show or the sports card shows? Well, yeah, the show in June is in October, sold out. Because I mean I've have. I get this, this is not exaggerating. Between 30 and 40 emails a day between these Pokemon shows, the big baseball card show I do here and the show I do at the school. And you can imagine, I mean it's like I said, it's a full time job trying to keep up with which show, who wants what and a lot of times I will Forget or misplace one guys, name it. You know, it's just. I mean. I mean, I make mistakes. You know, somebody said, I signed up. And I said, well, I don't see your name. And then I go back, check text from six months ago. Yep. He did reserve tables. So it's. Wow. The bigger it gives, the more it's. Like I said, it's a job to keep up with. Does it shock you at all that we are at this point in the. The hobby where we are, you're selling out venues as large as this, you have that many tables, that many people reaching out, like, do you think this can continue at this level? Or is this going to be, you know, a flash in the pan? We come back down some. What. What is. What are your thoughts, Jeff? Well, listen to the. Well, I mean, since we got the Pokemon show this weekend, listen to those guys. They say they ain't dying. I mean, they've got one piece now, some kind of other cards coming by. Some one piece. Lorcana, you've got Pokemon, of course, and then you've got Ruto, Dragon Ball Z, all that stuff. Yeah, the Ball Z or whatever that's supposed to be the next hot thing. And. Yeah, that's it. Let's tell me that these Pokemon shows could get as big as my baseball card show. And. Well, I mean, it's probably is because November we had 180 tables for the Pokemon show. We're up to 285, and I could probably sold easily 300. But at just a point in time, you got to cut it off. Hey, Jeff, I did want to talk to you about one other thing, too. I liked that you did you. Because you're one of the first guys I saw do this. You know, I. I make fun of Jesse for the Pokemon and all the other stupid stuff he does, but I started to feel like, man, I'm going to card shows now. In every other table is Pokemon. And so I know for the show in February where we set up, you had the first two venues for sports only, and you kept. All the Pokemon guys had their own venue even then. What kind of. Oh, good. Yeah, they were in the. In room three. Now. Now, most of it's all sports and one or two, but I've got guys that have card shops. You know who I'm talking about? They sell both, so I can't kick them in the back room. But so basically, if you're a true Pokemon guy, you got your own room, which is Expo 3. And we had February. We had, like, 220 Pokemon tables. Just true Pokemon room 2. I had guys that sell sports and Pokemon. I'm trying to separate them, which I like, by the way. I think there's a consumer. So let me ask you this. Are you still going to allow only Pokemon vendors at the card sports show, or are you going to kind of tell them, hey, why don't you go to the Pokemon only show? Well, I mean. I mean, it's. I mean, it's. I'm trying. No, I. They do both. Because it's a Now. I mean, there may be a point in time I get more sports guys and Pokemon guys are going to have to just have their own. Like I'm doing now. I'm doing three Pokemon shows a year here to fairgrounds, and then I'm doing three sports cards, which has Pokemon. But. But it's just. But at the school, I've. I got two gyms now. One gym is all Pokemon, the other gyms all sports cards. And the dealers on both sides love that. That way Pokemon customer come in and you don't have to look at sports cards. And the other way, the sports card guys don't have to look at Pokemon. So it's worked out good at the school. Well, Jeff, I mean, I know. I know you said you didn't have a ton of time today. I know you're busy setting up all the Pokemon stuff. We appreciate you coming on. I did. I wanted to have you on because, like I said, I've known you for years and what you've built is pretty un. Unbelievable. I still say this is the greatest card show in the country if you just want a card show. So, yeah, I appreciate it. I mean, that's what. And I tell you, that's what I mean, I've got guys coming, you know, a bunch from la, and I mean, I mean everywhere, because they like it, because it's just a true sports card show. And then, you know, like I said, jsa, all people bring stuff, get authenticated and all that. But it's like I said, I appreciate you, Mike, because I know, you know, y' all talk good about it and then. And the thing is, is me, the best advertising for any show is word of mouth. And then it's. I appreciate people like you all. And, you know, I mean, it's just. That's why it's grown, because of my dealers. I mean, I don't go out posting. We're the biggest and best. I just let the dealers, if they have a good show, they let people know. And if they don't. They don't. Well, there he goes. I think most of them, most of them have good shows. Absolutely. Hey, so Jeff Robinson again, if you're in the Nashville area this weekend is the Pokemon and other. All the non sports show this weekend. Jeff, the sports card show is the 19th through the 21st, correct? June 19th, yes. Okay, awesome. So we'll hopefully be set up there for that one. Jesse will be around this weekend with Ray. They'll be dressed like some goofy Disney character. So watch out for that. I was going to tell you, we've now we do have a face painting lady will be here. And then also I got a guy, he's got a. He's got. He's gonna be able to make pitch. He was gonna do like Pokemon cards. I mean, I told him you can't do that. You get sued, you know, as far as the copyright. So he's got, he makes like baseball cards he could do while you're here. The kids, which I think is pretty neat, is you get their face painted up and then their mom, dad could pay him to make a, like a baseball card. But it's a Pokemon thing for him. And at the sports show, he's going to do it for the big cell in June, which, you know, if a kid comes out and gets picture made of on a bike, a baseball car, that's pretty cool. Kids or adults can do that, right? Jesse's gonna be pushing. It's not limited to just children. I told everybody I'm gonna have me as, as the, as the promote the dumb promoter. And I'm gonna have a more than one autograph and sell them for a nickel. I might make a $2. I'll buy one from you. That's right. You got two sold right here. Hey, Jeff. I'm absolutely. Hey. Well, we, we do, we appreciate the time more, more importantly, we appreciate the show and everything you've done for the hobby here in the Nashville area. It's been awesome. So I guess, Jess, I'll see you probably tomorrow then. Yes, sir, you will. We'll see you then. And Saturday. All right, Sounds good. All right, buddy. Thank you, Jeff. See you guys. Bye Bye. Bye. Bye. Yeah, literally one of the. And Jeff's going to be pushing 70, 65. 70, I would guess, right? I think so. Like, here's my favorite part. This last show in February, right. I think that's when I brought dad because I did the big setup. Oh, yeah, Ray was there. Yeah, I did the big setup. We had two or three tables and I was like, hey, dad, I need you to work this weekend. Like, man, the money. Always good with the money. And then he's kind of keep an eye on things. Yeah. And Jeff came around, was just talking and it was either this show or the one before. And after a few minutes, dad was like, who is this guy? I was like, that's the show promote like that. It's his show. Yeah. And his. His take is what mine is and I think is what everybody's like. Just like a guy walking around interested in cards. That's the thing. It's freaking awesome. The most down to earth guy who puts on one of the biggest shows you've ever seen. And I do, I think it is. I. For that reason. He has been like that since day when I met him 15 years ago. Yeah, it was, hey, let me go. He's making a few hundred bucks. Let me buy pizza for the group. You know, just different stuff like that. He goes out of his way. If you are trying to throw a show, I would say come to Nashville. See how he does it. And I do. I love that he separated the sports and non sports. I don't want to be in a room with you perverts. No, I don't want to be in the room with you old grouchy guys. See, I was very nice. I said aggressive. Was I? You said pervert. I'm sorry. When an adult male gets his face painted and dresses like a Disney character in public, everybody does that. Only me. Well, there you go. So, yeah, Jesse will be set up this weekend. I'm going to be set up June 19th. I think Eddie's actually, he called me today. He's like, hey, kind of fly out for the show. He had a great time. Like, dude, fly out. The thing about the show too is you, when you go to the Nash, the national, the one in Chicago or wherever it's going to be, it does well, it just feels like more of a production if you. It feels very much like a big thing. Yep. This is a very, very big show. But it's like very relaxed. I don't have to worry about like, oh, you know, being prepared for it. I just go and I have a nice time and that's it. I don't know. And maybe it's because it's local, maybe it's because of how Jeff organizes it, but whatever it is, keep doing what you're doing. Absolutely. Yeah. I think he's great. So. Yeah. Excited. Just getting kind of back to where we were talking about too. So my other note I had was don't get caught up in the hype. We talked about that with Wemby. I think just within general though for new collectors and for seasoned people, hype I think is the worst thing in the hobby. That was the only other note I had about that subject is just there are so many guys. I had a guy message me today. You might have even commented on the YouTube video from last night. And he was like, hey, what about Dwayne Wade though? Like what do you. And like there's another example of Dwayne Wade has never been as hyped as Wemby or sg. Well, and SGA has accomplished more. Wade never won an mvp, but Wade does have multiple championships and was a top five guy in the league for years and is the third greatest shooting guard behind Michael and Kobe. And what does his sell for right now? I'm just looking him up. Exactly. Peanuts. Yeah. And he's also from an iconic rookie class.03 him, Carmelo Cris Bosh, LeBron. So you have all time greats. So even that like I just caution guys hype out does everything else hype and popularity. Because Dwyane Wade is better than almost anybody who's ever played the game of basketball. He's probably top 20, maybe top 25. How many guys right now have a will retire and be higher on that list than him? Just a few, but not many. Like I. Just for the math sake, just so you know, 2003 tops. Chrome. Dwyane Wade seems to be his rookie. It is. It's a PSA 10. PSA 10. Okay. So that LeBron is doing. I want to say Lebron's are climbing again. I want to say the LeBron's like why are they climbing? Because they were super low for. They. They got crazy high in covet and just came crashing down. Are they like eight grand? Ten grand? Oh no, they are way more. Almost eleven and a half. Oh, okay, okay. So eleven and a half. I'm gonna guess Dwayne Wade is actually there's. There's a Dwayne wave right there. PSA 10 tops. Chrome. I'm going to guess it's $300. No, no, less than that. Wait, where? The one in the far left. Far left. That's a Dwayne Wave. Jim's. Jim's head's in the way. I can't see it less. I'm going to say 220. Very, very close. 230. 235. Honestly, that's almost a comparison. LeBron to Wade as I make for like Brady to Payton, nobody says Peyton's a better quarterback all time than Brady. But Brady's Bowman Chrome is X and Peyton is a fraction. LeBron is obviously a better. But again, popularity hype. Yeah, it just. It's insane. Yeah. By the way, the refractor does a little better. Oh, yeah, those are tough. PSA 10. 1700. I was gonna say 15. So not bad. Okay. Pop count is 174. Actually, the Dwyane Wade is a higher pop count that I would have guessed. It's at 1150. But the LeBron is at 2500 as far as those tins go. So, yeah, 2500 pop count, 2500. I think that's 100,000 five. I wonder what the refractor for LeBron does. 68,000. I don't know. It's 37. Five. Oh, still ridiculous. Yeah, go ahead. I was. Okay, I'll go. Oh, I just had something about ebay live. Never mind. Okay, go ahead. Here's another thing I just want to mention too, because we've had stuff with psa. Obviously, PSA is brutal to deal with when getting cards back. Right now they're super delayed. Ryan came on here. He was not bashful, but saying it. Their delays are unbelievable right now. Tough to get cards back. Wax pricing, super expensive right now. Hard to buy into a break. Hard to buy wax because the pricing's gone. Even though it has come down on most products, it's still just expensive. I just made a quick note here. If you are in this for more than just a hobby at all, and I mean, if you're just in it, hey, I want to buy cards to flip. To buy a PC card. Yes. In my mind, this transaction is happening that's more than just a 100% hobbyist, because I don't think there's hardly any. Just 100% left. There's some, but most people do it at least that way. I'm going to trade up. I'm going to make, you know, transact so I can get the card I want. I think you have to be more so than ever now. Ready to pivot. Like maybe your thing for years was, I'm going to buy stuff and grade it and flip it. Yeah, well, grading is now really not an option for a ton of stuff. Two years ago, there was stuff you would absolutely grade. Or right now I'd say don't because of the cost and the wait time. It's not worth it. Just flip it raw. So are you prepared to say, hey, I'm going to kind of abandon that and go, or hey, I used to buy this kind of wax and sit on and then I'd flip the wax again. Recently that has not been the case. Like if you hold wax right now, at least recently, it comes down and rightfully so. It's expensive coming out. It depends on where you get your wax. If you, if you're buying it off of any site that is not like Tops Direct and. Or you have a plug who can get you a deal. Yes, I would completely agree. Yeah. And that's what I'm talking about. Our listeners, I mean,.001 have that. And when I say plug, I don't actually. I just mean like dealer net. Dealer net. You. If people go on there and bought something from them, that's typically going to be a little lower than what you get it for because anybody can set up a dealer Net account. So it's like, I mean, a little bit lower. But on the sports side, there's not much margin there either. No, there's not. That's the thing. It's the margins have gotten a lot tighter. So. So again, maybe that was your, your lane. Well, maybe you need to start going to, hey, I'm going to start buying collections for a little bit or hey, maybe I'm going to target specific players and do it that way. I just think sometimes we get super set in our ways and I get it. But at times it's like, man, if you want to stick around and be relevant, you have to adapt and adjust. I talked about on the hobby podcast this week and I mentioned this, so and I'll mention it again here. The value bulk, which is like, I think what most. If they submit at say, Sheps or a card shop, that is value bulk typically is what's being sent. It's 140 to 160 days. Business days. Business days. Which means if you send it off now, you will hopefully get it back for Christmas. Yeah, you'll probably get it next year. Well, Yeah, I mean, 150 days from like Monday of this week. Said it was like December 14th. So there's a chance it could be after the holidays. But it's just like it's weird that we have to start putting things in that time frame of like, oh yeah, I was going to try and like move some stuff at the end of the year. Oh, if I'm going to do that, I need to play now. Yeah, like that's like saying right now then you are going to plan on guys who are going to be in the NFL playoffs. Yeah, right. Yeah, Next December, January. Like that's what you're planning for, so. Yep. I'm just trying to think like I. Your show. You didn't have a show this last Sunday. I've got one coming up this Sunday. It's all Disney stuff. Disney Chrome's coming out. We talked about it already. I know you don't want to hear a ton about it, but it's a huge Disney show on ebay. Live this Sunday. I just want to let people know because they said they're going to send out a mass push, like in the app, which is very cool. Love to get a little promotion for it, but if anybody wants to just come and see what all the hubbub is about, it is kind of weird to see what the Disney World is doing. Not the theme park, but the. I'm interested. Me and Eddie talked about this. Disney and Gary V. We're both in the release calendar. I don't think we got solicited for any Disney. I think we got solicited for a little Gary V. Wait, you got solicited for Gary? I think we got a case. I haven't gotten any Gary Vee that. All right. I'm getting messages sent. I don't know, I'm curious what those do. Last year was the first year for him, wasn't it? Gary V's fury was. Oh, yeah, yeah. Wasn't it last year's Disney Chrome the first time? No, Disney Chrome 2023. Well, depends on how you define it. But 2023, 2024, was it the same as like what's coming out now? The 100 came out in 2023. It was technically Disney Chrome 100 and then regular Disney Chrome. Was last year 24? No, it was 2024. 25. This will be the third year. Yeah, I'll be interested what those do because even the Gary stuff, I know the first year when nuts, you just flip into whatever. Yeah. I wonder how that IP does. Like second year. I don't know. Well, it's funny, during this, since we started recording, I got solicited for Disney Chrome. There we go. The. I actually was going to go back and see what they are offering box price now versus last year because I think I can still actually see that because I. It's not crazy. I will say that I thought it was actually going to come out higher than what they. They started at Disney Chrome last year. Of course, I'm not going to give you the price, but I can tell you if there's much difference, at least it was there we go fire. I think it's. I just think it's interesting because I actually it makes me happy when they don't jack it up like above what last year's was because that's what it's been lately. I feel like most releases have been higher than what the previous one was and that's not obviously the case as far as resale goes. So why are we doing that? Yeah, I'll have to keep looking. It's not just popping up for me. Yeah, busy. It is a busy week actually. We finally have a little bit of a slowdown this week with or leases thankfully. Oh, I found it. I did find it. All right, just to compare. Okay. So it's about a 20 difference in box price this year is more expensive. Yeah. Okay. So an extra 250 a case. 12 bucks case maybe. Yeah, 40. I guess that makes sense. Okay. Yeah. So honestly though, that's great. Like compared to what some of these other prices and the pricing on some of this has been. I kind of expected it to be much higher. Well, there you have it. I think I'm good. Oh, I mean I've got. We'll make this our last promotion. I get. I got my ebay live show Saturday, Sunday this week and do a little bit of both. Were you able to get your cards scanned in? No, I didn't use haystack yet so don't get upset, Steve. I have it put together. I will use it for my next show. I got home Tuesday, we flew in, literally got everything posted. That's in big cars. I want them posted. But yes, it's going to save me time. I got it working. The photos will be great. Photos will be much, much better than I'm taking on my phone. Oh, at least how I've been taking them and it auto lists it on a CSV CVS file. Your pharmacy. No, you don't have to do that at all. That's what's great. You just. It connects your. Oh, okay. I thought you actually did know CVS CSV is a thing too. Thank you. CVS out of business. Oh no, not Walmart. No, I. I legit had again I've said this before. I had my daughter do it all. She just scanned them all in and now the matching has actually gotten even better. I feel like I. I used to think like there were some cards where sports cards have matched very very easily in a lot of non sport cards will match. But there's a title you're saying? Yeah, like because it's like there's A lot of generates. You don't have to do much searching at all. And I feel like it's getting even better than when I first started just a few months ago. So yeah, it is cool to know like, and there's a guy who like I'll reach out to. It's like, hey, this, I don't understand how this works or how, how can I make this work? And it'll be like, oh, either this is how it works or oh yeah, let's look into that. And then they may deploy something new just because of that. So cool. Very active. I will be using that going forward. It's just been a weird schedule. So it was all the traveling and bull crap only of the ebay live note. I have tomorrow night. EBay. Let me just make sure I get this read correct. It's actually kind of a neat one too. Gordy's doing the thing with Golden Live. Our. Our boy Gordy Bonker is flying to Golden. That's. He might just be driving actually. Oh, it is. Where does he live? Is he in California? No, no, they're both New Jersey or close to at least. Oh, Golden. Oh, that makes sense. I don't know why I thought he was. Have you heard of Golden Auction, you child? I thought it was in LA for some reason. Maybe it's because he's gone so Hollywood. So a big vintage sports card through the eras Gordy's gonna host and be live at golden hq. So Ken golden and Gordy together. There's a bunch of stuff they've pulled. I have a note here though. Provide a clear direction to engage. That's what I'm going to do now. I'm going to provide you clear direction to engage May 26th. So I lied. That's Friday, not tonight. That was close though. At 5:30pm Eastern. A little early for my liking there. Kenny boy Live the shop vintage singles is gonna be a ton of good stuff. There's an 84 star that's on the golden 100. I think it's just ebay core. That autographed one. This is on May 26th. May 26th. That's 5:30, not Friday. That is absolutely not a Tuesday. May 26th. Oh wait, today is. It's 21st. This is a good read. Why do I have these dates all screwed? That is a Tuesday. Well, I. Jesse is killing it. The signed 84 Jordan is not an ebay live. It's gonna be an ebay core. That's a monster card. It's the signed Star rookie. How does that work? Like, it's on. I think they're gonna talk about it on the live while they're selling live stuff, but they're actually going to be selling them. Is it so end at the. Like during the show? Do we know? I don't know. Very curious. Excellent question. Good news. We have. We have another pod in between now, so I can get this read correct, but something at least keep your eye on. So, yeah, I'm happy for Gordy, though. Gordy's a great seller for vintage stuff, and him and kennel have a huge audience. I don't know how they got connected. A text message. Did you text? I had nothing to know. Gordy got this on his own. I have no clue. Oh, I don't. I don't deal with people that tall in person. Aside from you. Oh, I forgot. It's only because you're hefty. If you were skinny, I wouldn't speak to you. No, I know. I know that. I have often wondered what the deal is, because when I. I didn't realize that Nick Andrews was your. Like, I think you're taller than Nick. It's all, he's dainty. I'm definitely bigger than Nick. Well, yeah. Oh, yeah. I could bench press Nick's weight. Nick's body weight about 40 times. That's what's so weird about, like, social media. You never know how big anybody is. I didn't know Gordy was that big. That's weird. He's taller than you. I think he's real tall, dude. I think my shoulder. I. Who did you see, by the way? Like, who did you to get an initial X ray thing? Mri? Oh, I don't know, but the one I just went to for my legs, though, last week, the place on Saunders Ferry. Saundersville. Did you. Did your doctor have to call it in to, like, say, go do that? They don't even take you just to walk in clinic. Oh, really? Walk in? Urgent ortho. Is that what it's called? Urgent ortho? Whatever. It's. I think it's. It's next to Dina, where Dina worked. Oh, okay. Okay. Okay. Yeah. Because I. I want to peep that shoulder. Well, I went to the chiropractor, and she was like, hey, okay, well, do some of these things. My girl Beth. Yeah. Oh, yeah, I know. You know Beth. Does she come to the house, too? Works on me all the time. She comes to the house? Yeah. Oh, that's. I didn't know that you guys had Beth come into this. Oh, we've been using Beth before. You even knew when Hannah was pregnant? When we started using, I think. Oh, really? Yeah. But she did the tests, and she doesn't think it's, like, torn, like, rotator cuff. My rotator cuff? Because. And I also talked to Brian. There you go. Hold your arm out. Yeah. Push down your hand. Okay. Right now? Well, I can't. I mean, I guess I can push down on my own. You hold it up? Yeah. It's not torn, so I don't think it. But there's also, like, four different tendons in there, so you have to do a few different. Even do anything. How'd you hurt your shoulder? Sleep on it? Wrong. I did. I caught myself falling off of the. Oh, dude. It might have been the scooter. It was the scooter. By the way, I had my full checkup thing yesterday at the. The new concierge doctor. You were talking about me. I know, but nobody. Your shoulders gonna die. So is your heart. What do you mean? Go to the place on Saundersville, take care of you. They're great. What happened at your concierge service? I got an ultrasound on my arms and legs, and they found. I remember a couple years ago. Oh, yeah. I had. I had. Yeah. Because I had broken my elbow at some point along the road, and I had two pieces of bone floating around. They said they found a couple little pieces in there again. Was that around your wienis? It might have been, yeah. Yeah. Near the tip. Tip of that bone there. No, the. I understand. I'm talking about. This is your elbow. The tip of my elbow, yeah. That's what it is. That's where it was, actually, the tip. My elbow had shattered at one point, and nobody. So they said there's a couple little pieces floating around, but it was pretty wild. I did an eye test, an ear test. I feel like this is like Andy from Parks. Dude, it was unbelievable. I did a BMI, like, in depth. 50,000 different things. It was awesome. One hour in a room, can't see. Then I got stuck right here. Look at that. No bruising at all. Good phlebotomy. This lady stuck me, and I was like, this is unbelievable. Like, what? I was like. I. I would rather get elbowed in the face and bleed that way than get stuck with a needle. For the last five years, I've been super paranoid about it. She was phenomenal. Do you look away? I can't. I have. Oh, I have to. Yeah. But I didn't. I told her. I was like. That's the first time people say this, and they lie. Yes, I didn't know what happened. Phlebotomists are a dime a dozen, but a good phlebotomist is hard to find. Yeah, I was pretty sure you found a good one, so. Yeah, the ultrasound was weird. I got a bunch of other crap done too, so I've been in the Emergency room for 12 of the last 20 hours. Story top. In fact, as soon as we're done here, I'm going back over there, so I get to do that. I'm happy for you. No. Can I help? No. And you don't want to be in there to trust me. Dude, you are a bad person. I love Granny. My granny is in the hospital right now. She's 91 years old. Cutting jokes. Here's the. She is the healthiest 91 year old, as far as taller than I am, still by a good six. Granny is a Texas lady who has not been on any prescription medicines her whole life. Texas gal. She, to this point, she's still fine, but apparently she thought she was, like, dying. She was like, no, this is it. I'm gone. Like, that's what she was saying on Saturday. Way to do it. She's like, I'm going out. Just, you know, be there for mom. Hey, I've got this. Can you help her sell that when I'm gone? And I'm just like, granny, maybe you're okay. Like, let's just go to the doctor. But it's just a paper cut. It was like, she wouldn't go. And then finally we were supposed to take her on Monday. She wouldn't go on Monday. So we got her down there Wednesday because she couldn't hold her head up. She was like. Her head was just down and, like, wouldn't stay up. And I'm like, okay, well, let's just go. Let's get her down. I'm tired of, like, dilly dallying. And then they check her in and they're like, oh, yeah, your blood count, your hemoglobin's like a six. And it's supposed to be at like a. I think it was supposed to be like a 13 or 14 or something. It's. It was dramatically good. So I get to go back down there, give her some red meat, a nice taste. I was like, when was the last time you had some good iron? Not just Hubertis. Real teeth? Yeah, yeah, that's a thing. She's. They don't make them. Like, she's not even diabetic, but she eats candy like crazy. I don't understand. Don't. Don't word you. I. I don't even even know what you're insinuating. I know what you're thinking. I'm not thinking of thing. But anyways, that's. That's what I'm gonna go do. And then I'm going to the card show, and then that's what I'll be doing this whole week. It's. It's literally card show. Saturday, Sunday, then auction. Funko's gonna be here. Funkles in town. Your grandmother's dying. You at Funkle. You two idiots gonna be selling hot dogs and selling cars. I'm going down to Granny tonight. I'm going to ground down the Granny. What a piece of garbage you are. Just. You're in there. Just. You're in the. You and Funkler and they're literally just shotgunning hot dogs like idiots. Granny loves and her boy talking about, you know, Woody and Buzz like a couple of morons. Granny loves to see her little man growing up to be. Meanwhile, Granny's in there bleeding from her. From her eyeballs. Good for you. What a good person you. You are. Did Hannah tell you after, like an hour after I left last night, she fell out of the bed and hit her head on the ground. Did the ground break? I've seen her. Tough lady. Tough lady. She's okay, apparently. But she was thinking it was Friday and it was not, so I don't know. It's fine. That happens to everybody. I don't know what day. I thought today was two. That's what I was saying Tuesday. Yeah, no, I think that's. That's an excuse. Who's the guy coming on next week? The shop owner. You met Luke in Phoenix. Yeah. Tell me who it was because I can't remember. Is he older? No, he's our age. Oh, he is. Yeah. He's definitely. I think our age. Cards are. I went to the shop. Cards are. Yes, I went to his shop. I didn't even know who he was last year when I was doing the fam. The Montebello family reunion in Londonderry, New Hampshire. This is the guy who, like, knew your cousin? Yes. Was roommates with Lacey's husband. There you go. I can never remember Lacey's husband's name. I don't feel terrible. I've only met him, like, twice. But yeah, so. So last year he was, like, doing this thing where he's like, man, we got the shop. It's good, but we're growing kind of. I wanted to talk about that because now they opened the new shop a Few months ago. And maybe it's been more than a few months. We went. Me and Russ went there on Saturday. We brought Theo. Yeah. Unfreaking real like it is an awesome shop. And the whole other half of it isn't even open. It's all pokey. It's your little pervert cave. Sure, sure. Cave. Excuse me, but it's. It's new. Nice. Not just like. I'm not saying, by the way, it's not a paid promotion, but I ended up buying a bunch of cards. Awesome. Price on singles 101 didn't. Yeah. I bought a one on one Grant Hill patch. A super factor. And I bought a. I thought it was a good one. A Dylan Harper black serenity tops, chrome rookie number to 10. And then a cheap MJ slab. Dude also knocked like a hundred bucks off for no reason. Just to be kind. He had like some Fisher Cats players in there. The minor league baseball team. It's just a cool. Like I just want to. I like talking to people in the business here who have shops and he is like very aggressively building out. I think it's a cool story. So. No, that's all. And we can BS about whatever we want. But I did like, we can get Lacy's husband's name. It'll be fun. That guy's name. But yeah, I was. And again, not a paid promotion. I like that. I think it's cool. And I think he's also kind of at the point. I think. I think he still works full time, but is doing this full time. It's like a. That transition is interesting to me. How do you know when to pull the plug on one and really throw into this? Because they've already got a ton into this. So that's cool. Yeah, we're talking to him. He was good. It was nice day. Is it? So today's Thursday. It'll be Monday. We're having him on Monday. Yes. Okay. Thursday's episode will be same days, just different time on Thursdays. Different time. Yeah. Okay. We can be done. Bottomed out here. All right. We'll be back on Monday with Luke and Jesse. Myself, Seinfeld. I was like, geez, what is that one from? Yeah. Thank you. Wayne Knight signs in Toy Story. Have you thought about a guest host? I'll pretend I didn't hear that. Goodbye. Some follow the noise. Bloomberg follows the money. Because behind headline is a bottom line.
