LeBron James is the most undervalued athlete in collectibles today. His 2003 Topps 1st Edition PSA 10 rookie card (pop 135) sells for $50,000-$60,000. It predates his Topps Chrome release. That card sells for less than 1/8th the price of the 1986 Fleer PSA 10 Michael Jordan rookie card $400,000 with a 3X pop (almost 400). Moreover the 1984 Star Jordan launched 2 years earlier. LeBron James in-game gear, jerseys, shoes, debut tickets and virtually everything else sells at a fraction of Jordan. And while LeBron might not be your GOAT, he is the GOAT to so many in the younger generation… and those fans will manage the purse strings in the years ahead.
