Institutions that thought the Clarity Act was going to pass were trying to index which tokens to own to get a high percentage of the volatility of all crypto. It turned out at that time, all you needed was Bitcoin and Ethereum, and you got 97% of the volatility. So everything else collapsed after that was discovered. The assumption inherent of that was that Ethereum would become the standard across all 11 sectors of the economy. That has not happened. So now people are trying to figure out, should I take a position in these other chains should they start to get wide adoption? The grail would be some exchange adopting one of these blockchains. That would be a watershed event because tokenization is going to happen through an exchange I think.
