From one of our many premium members who made this play... This is both a question and a humble brag about a win. First off thank you for all you do. My card flipping business has been in the black the past 2 years thanks to your guidance/advice. To the question: I bought 60 Topps now Mendoza draft nights and sent them off immediately (20 to PSA, 20 to BGS and 19 to CGC). BGS is the only one that has been mailed back so far (see pic); it was kind of amazeballs. Here’s the question: Do you see any scenario where I keep a Black Label waiting for him to do something (like start or win a game)? Or do I stick with my original plan to liquidate everything ASAP? The caveat is I did very well, I got an insert /50 which I immediately sold for $500 to cover cost of cards plus AND the grading at BGS went exceptionally well (yes that’s 6 Black labels, out of a POP 10 at this time!!) which will pay for that grading and all the other grading. So basically, I’m already ahead with 20 PSA and 19 CGC cards still to pop.
