SGC: $15 ➡️ $50. And somehow we’re surprised? 🤔 SGC Pete may have been the best leader grading ever had, and nobody can blame him for taking the bag when the opportunity arrived. But Collectors acquired SGC. Beckett followed. The same parent company now owns PSA, SGC and BGS…and a hobby driven largely by liquidity and flipping continues submitting to whichever plastic produces the easiest resale. So why are we shocked when the market keeps consolidating around PSA? PSA doesn’t have to force collectors into its ecosystem. We keep voting for it with every submission, every comp and every sentence that begins with, “Yeah, but what would it sell for in a PSA slab?” The real question: Was $15 grading ever sustainable—or did SGC just surrender the one lane that made it meaningfully different? Sound off below. Is $50 the end of SGC’s value proposition, or are you still submitting? 👇 #SGC #SGCGrading #PSA #PSAGrading #BGS
