Everybody loves PSA until you start doing the math. We got talking about grading at the show, and this is the part people forget. You’re not just looking at whether a card will gem. You’ve got the grading fee, the membership, the turnaround time, and your money tied up while you wait. If you’re talking about 50 cards at around $30 a card, now you’ve got real money sitting there. And the biggest question is always the same. What’s that card going to be worth by the time it comes back? Sometimes grading makes perfect sense.
