The same card has received the following designations: • Beckett (BGS) – 9.5 • Beckett (BGS) – Authentic – Altered • PSA – EX-MT 6 • PSA – NM-MT 8 • SGC – Authentic – Evidence of Trimming • SGC – Mint 9 • CGC – 9 • TAG – Oversized – Do Not Holder • Arena Club – NM-MT 8.5 While the exact submission order is unclear, it has been suggested the card initially graded as a BGS 9.5 and later returned from Beckett labeled “Authentic – Altered.” The wide range of outcomes including altered designations from some companies and Mint-level grades from others highlights the variability that occurs in card grading, including DRASTICALLY different results from the same company when evaluated multiple times.
