Being a Pokemon card show vendor isn't for everyone. And what I mean is that the financials/economics of doing it don't make sense in some cases if you don't have the proper tools, mindset, and inventory. It's also physically demanding/time-consuming which I don't think gets discussed enough. This podcast dives into my personal experience after vending ~30 local card shows (100-400 vendor tables per show), as well as some example scenarios of what you might expect as a vendor yourself with varying levels of inventory.
