Our next live episode is going to be next week. Sometime either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. We'll post in the Facebook group which day it's going to be. Full disclosure, Johnny and I got caught in Florida due to the rainstorms in New York. It seemed like trees were falling down. It was windy, it was rainy. Our flight got postponed so we had to reschedule, which is why we didn't go live this week. But we promise we will get you a live episode next week. So check out the Facebook group for that and Pro WrestlingTees.com CAR Foundation Pod. Pick up a T shirt to support the boys. Yeah, I, I would have to probably say expect it Monday or Tuesday. Don't expect it Wednesday since Thursday is going to be an early morning and a long day for us. Oh, that's right. Yep. Thursday will be headed to the city for Fanatics Fest 2026. That'll be an early morning. Getting up and getting over there to pick up our, our credentials and all that. So I would say probably Tuesday is a safe bet. Which the date on that is the 14th. So June 14th, Tuesday night, throw on NXT and throw on CFP and we'll hang out and do a little Fanatics Fest preview. It's gonna be a big episode, a lot to talk about. Talking about a lot of the different, you know, autograph signings that are going to be there. WWE put out a post today that they're gonna have all exclusive merch for the event like they did last year. So all, you know, NYC themed shirts and stuff that you can only get at Fanatics Fest. I saw some of the vendors have been assigned their booth numbers. So we'll go through some of like the, the booths that we're going to be looking to hit up and, and we're most excited for. So it should be a good episode. Yep. Definitely looking forward to it. Definitely looking forward to Fanatics Fest. It's gonna be a great one. So yeah, we'll dive in next week and talk about it. So I'm sure that people want to know how was, how did Orlando treat you? It was good up until trying to be, trying to get home. Yeah, the parks were great. It wasn't, it wasn't like it was hot, but it wasn't like deathly hot. Nah. Two days it was hot. It was brutal. It was. No, it was hot. But I don't know, I, I had gone with Nicole like 10 years ago in August and that was hot. So I guess this time around I, I was. I don't know whether I was ready for it or whatever. Magic Kingdom was hot that day. I felt like we went through it a bit. Magic Kingdom felt like that, I think because there just wasn't a lot of room to like really breathe. Like there's not a whole lot of rides. The rides that are. There are pretty much outdoor weight areas. Right. So there's really no relief throughout that day when I did Universal Saturday, I mean having the flash pass was, was huge. But at least all like the stuff was indoor so it felt cool all day. Didn't have a problem there. And then what were the. You're gonna say the purchases for purchases. Yeah, we'll talk about that in purchases. Yeah. Back in the summer though, I think I'm ruling out. Yeah, any Orlando trip. I agree. I think the next time that we want to go, we want to go around Christmas time. I've never been there for when it's decorated for Christmas. Yep. So I think the next time we do go would be for that. It's also going to be when the baby's a little older and bigger. That way we can take her to Universal and she could do those rides and we could take her to, you know, she could do more of the rides in, in the Disney parks. But I loved Hollywood Studios. That was my favorite park of the whole trip. Yep, that was fun. That's a. The. It was the first time for me seeing Star wars. The Star wars, you know, that whole land and. Right. We got to do Rise of the Resistance and that was like, that was worth the whole trip for me. Aside from the baby. Like personally, that was like something that I've been looking forward to doing for years now. So getting to do that and, and see all that stuff, I was excited. So yeah, it was a good trip. Yep. We just ran into a, a buzz saw at the end trying to get home with the weather here. Everything just kept getting canceled into New York. There was nothing coming out of Florida into New York for two days. And even the, even the days that like I saw, even today there was a. Which, full disclosure, today's Thursday. There was a ground stop at the New York airports and cancellations across and delays across the board again. So it's that time of the year, I guess, where there's just tropical storms and a lot of things going on. Yeah. I mean for me, shout out to Michael's fiance's family for having a House in Fort Myers because without it I was not making a 10 hour trek to a different state to fly out that day like you guys did. So yeah, that was, that was rough. So Danny and, and Michael got to, they went down to, to Fort Myers where they have some family down there and, and they stayed for an extra day and we drove from Orlando to Nashville and we left around 7pm Took us nine and a half hours to get there. Got out of the car, dropped the car off at that. At the, at the Nashville airport. Hopped on a flight two hours later back to Newark, New Jersey. And then a car picked us up from Newark and we drove an hour home back to Long Island. So, yep, I gotta say that, I mean, aside from a couple like hiccups here and there, the baby kind of handled it like a champ. Six hours in the airport, 10 hours in the car, another two hour flight after that and like she was still running around Nashville airport happy as can be, just eating her bagel and laughing and so yeah, yeah, that was, it was a tough way to end the trip, but it was, it was a fun trip overall. Yeah. All right, well, let's dive into some news. A lot of news in wrestling this week, especially with what just occurred over on AEW Television. So. But we'll start things up. Wwe, CM Punk is now the champion once again defeating Sami Zayn, of course, in his hometown, Chicago. Why wouldn't I have thought anything differently? Well, what'd you think of, of Triple H pulling a Tony Cotton and taking the belt right away from Sammy and, and slapping on Punk? Sammy should have never been the champion. It shouldn't have even got to this. But I do feel bad that it did happen to him. You know, a nine day reign isn't, isn't, you know, like anything at all really. So. Yeah, but it's the right move heading into SummerSlam to have your top dogs have the belts and have marquee matches. You know, not that Sami Zayn's not a marquee player, but when you compare him to CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Brock Lesnar, even now, obafemi feels like a massive deal. Right. Compared to Sami Zayn, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins. Yeah, I, I don't think Sami Zane should be at the top of that card. So I'm assuming the title match is going to be Cody versus Punk, which has been rumored for a while that they were going to do something now and then. Obviously you got Rollins vs. Reigns, Oba vs. Lesnar. So it's shaping out if that holds to be a really massive SummerSlam. Yeah, I think SummerSlam's looking to be really big with that being set up. You have Roman and Seth, you have Oban and Brock, you have Live and eo. Yeah, I mean, there's a lot of big names in that and I, I think, I think WWE needs a big SummerSlam for just to keep the morale going, I think. What was that? And to get some momentum. Yeah, they got to get some momentum back. And I, and I think especially with what's Going on in aew, you're gonna have all. All in the same month and that's gonna be a big show with Osprey and, and. And Kenny Omega 3 for the belt, which we'll get to. But yeah, I just think that I feel like the momentum has been lacking a little bit in wwe and I think they're trying to spice things up and I think that's why they did the whole Sammy thing with Punk then coming out in Chicago and, you know, doing the challenge and they just need to kind of mix things up a bit. But yeah, I mean, it's looking like SummerSlam is going to be huge. So. Yep, yep. Certainly gonna be great. Definitely going to be tuned in and locked in for that. And then in the other promotion, Johnny just mentioned Kenny Omega shocking MJF to win the AEW Championship. Yeah. What are your thoughts? I'm happy. I think it makes sense to get Osprey Omega 3 for the belt in London. I think we all know where this is going, but this is one of those times, I think, where I don't really care. Like, I, I am looking forward to the payoff for this. I think it's gonna be a banger of a match. Yeah, I just. I'm really looking forward to that. And I'm glad they were able to give the belt to Omega now because he's got like a month plus to kind of now build this up again and build the storyline back up and, and do promos and, you know, really make this the big match that it's going to be. They can kind of focus on that show now going forward. But yeah, no, I, I thought it was a great match. I also loved Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher. I thought that match the other night was fantastic. Kyle Fletcher took the belt from Takesha, so now he's the international champion. So, yeah, I, Again, it kind of fluctuates, but I'm excited with where AW is going right now. Yeah, definitely happy for Omega. I mean, he hasn't won the belt since, I believe, December of 2020. So it's been six years since he won his last championship. And I know his first reign was about a year. I want to say he was out for a little bit with that whole. Was a diverticulitis thing. Yeah, I mean, he almost died, so, like. Yeah, you know, I feel like this is long overdue that he's had the title. And again, he's 42 years old, so, like, how many more chances is he really gonna get, you know, to be the top guy of AEW and be healthy doing it. You know, he's had injury concerns. He's had the diverticulitis. So, like, you got to pull the trigger now. What do you do with mjf? I don't know. Maybe they insert him in to make it a triple threat for the title at. You don't think so? I hope not. I hope they just let them let. Let this, you know, let it be the third match of the. Of the. The trilogy. I mean, MJF is still one of their top three to three, three or four men's. Yeah, I agree. Like, you have a big match, you know, maybe they pivot him to like a Kyle Fletcher. Just have a banger of a match and it's for the title. There's some stakes, but. Yeah, I. I don't know where you go with MJF from here. We'll see. Maybe takes a break. I don't know. Maybe he kind of takes a month or two, though. Like, how many he. I feel like he's. He takes a break a year. You know, he filmed P. Gilmore. He was out for that. He was hurt. He was out for that. That's. So is Roman. I mean, rumored hair transplant after that. The big names, they. That's what they do now. Yeah, but Roman's a little different. At least Roman you could count on to be healthy every single year. Like, you never hear about Roman getting. Yeah, because he wrestles five times a year. Well, that's. MJF just wrestled five times in the last month and a half. Look, say what you will, but Roman's been on TV pretty consistently over the past, you know, few months. Has he not? I haven't been watching. I mean, to do, like, promos and stuff. He hasn't wrestled. No, he doesn't. Yeah, but he's saving it for the pay per views. That's. That's what. That's a stick. That's what he does. But he's been on TV regularly for the past, like, four months. Five months. Yeah. So he's. He's still there. Fair share, but he's. He's here. I have a thing with the fighting champions. No, I. I think they should be too. I. I totally agree. I think the amount of matches that Darby had is definitely too much, but the lack of matches that Roman has typically is too less. There should be something in between. But, you know, again, there was another champion on a different promotion that, you know, when Cody was champ, he was still doing his thing and, you know, you make it work. Yeah, but it's not like it seems like AW's guys when they come in and out throughout the year, it's not because they don't want to be there. It's they're just always hurt. Right. They're either they're hurt or right. They have something going on. Right. So yeah, no, it should be a big, should be a big month plus for wrestling right now. You're gonna have, you know the build the SummerSlam right now on WWE side you have Fanatics fest this week or this coming week which is going to be big for content. It's going to be big for announcements. They're doing the SummerSlam press conference that weekend. All the talent's going to be there. Saturday night's main event is going to be at the Garden on Saturday. So you're gonna have all the WWE guys are going to be in town. Should be a big weekend for them. And then the lead up into SummerSlam they then aw on the same side you have, you know them the lead up to the big show over across the pond and you know those story lines are going to start to take shape now towards that show. So should be a good month plus of of wrestling. Yeah, for sure. So be on the lookout for. Did you see the rumor is most of if not all of the New York Knicks are going to be featured on the show. They were all invited for the official Danhausen uncursing of the Knicks on Saturday night's main event. Brunson's gonna be there. That should be fun. It's gonna be unbelievable. And I'm definitely gonna ride this next championship win until I'm in the grave. So. Yep. Hey everybody, lady luck here. And we're celebrating America's 250th birthday. Now all summer long I'm going to be celebrating by playing on spinquest.com which is an American owned social casino. And of course CM Punk winning the WWE championship card number 70 is out and available to buy for a limited time only. And there are autos that are up for grab so always got to chase that one of one. Yep. Sticking with tops. So this is a sale that happens this week. The Bianca Belair Wrestlemania patch auto did sell on ebay. Final bid was 29, $500. What do you think of that sale? I think it it's one of the more important ones. Why do you say that? Because you know what the big names are gonna get and you know what the lower, lowest of the lower guys are gonna get. But I thought Bianca was in a very interesting spot where she's not like a top tier talent but she's not like a, like a jobber that's gonna get like 10k. So I was very interested to see where she kind of fell in that. I thought, I mean 30k is pretty respectable for a Bianca Bel Air card. It's probably going to be the most expensive Bianca Bel Air card ever, like forever. She deserved to outsell Tiff. Right now. Probably not. I would agree. I would definitely agree because if you know with the sale according to card ladder, that would place her number two right in WrestleMania patches. And now of course that's without private sales and by confirmed sale. So it's not. I can't recall if there was any other non car ladders that have beaten Bianca, but the only other one that has so far was the Randy Orton. Yep. But again if you're a mega collector of a certain talent, someone's going to be willing to pay that price to make sure they get the grail of their collection. So like could some of these sales be very wonky in a way? Definitely. Yeah. I mean and right now you have the Charlotte Flair which is posted for 48k. Yep. So you know, if Bianca is worth 30. Is Charlotte worth 48? I mean with these are one of ones. So I think anything goes. I think you never know who is out there that just PC someone that will spend a ridiculous amount of money to get the person they want. Oh the only thing we could guarantee is that John Cena will be the number one. You know no question. Just because there's bounties and. And notable people are after that card. So. Yeah. So you have on car ladder the confirmed sales. Randy Orton won at 42K Bianca Belair 29.5 Tiffany Stratton 22 Jay USO 186 Ray Phoenix 6,300 and that's it. But we know obviously more of more of sold right? Just not those are just the car sales. Yep. Ray Phoenix is looking like a steel. Is it though? I mean like. I don't know. I mean I'm starting to think that like $6,000 is a lot of money. It is a lot of money. But I'm starting to think that none of these cars should sell for less than 10. I do. Because again who like why would an Eric or ivar be worth 10k? Because. Just because it's a one of one wrestlemania patch. Like who gives a think think about it. If WWE gave me a WrestleMania patch one of one and I walked out to the ring and had a match as Danny the host of the car foundation. I deserve a ten thousand dollar card. No. In my head. Yes. Bless you. To others. No, probably not. Probably not. But you're also not Ray Phoenix. Look, I get it. He's super talented but is he the most popular on the main roster right now? Like far from it? No. We also know I mean there's others that are also at auction right now. Like I believe Damien Priest. I don't know what happened with in terms of his but I know that was at auction. I think it's probably gonna end at the end of the month because usually these big auction houses they're about a month. Was that Fanatics live? Yeah, I believe it was Flint Fanatics collection that card is being listed on. Yeah, I don't know what else is actively listed or not. Yeah, let's see. Let's see. But I remember the Priest was it was. I. I don't think it was expensive. I don't know. I'm sure he's going to be after it. So it's got two days left. The priest. Yeah. What's it at? 4100. Okay. So it's tracking to beat Phoenix. Yeah. 10 days. My guess is it's gonna ballpark end around 10. Around 10 max. Yeah. I'm gonna probably say 10. Yeah. So yeah, it's exciting to watch what these patches sell for though because again, these are the best, probably the best singular wrestling style car that will ever be put into existence. So one of one patch worn by someone at Wrestlemania that's hard to beat. So I'm sure over the next few years as sales pop up, it's going to be exciting to to watch and see and interesting. The Damien Priest was graded cgc. Well that's been happening a lot lately with a lot of big cards. So I think in my head what's happening is if you're auctioning a card at fanatics collect like that high end, I think it has to be slabbed and I want to say with the same boats for golden, you have to slab your card if selling at a certain value. Interesting. Yes. Because Carl Anthony Towns when he bought his one of one from Tops Chrome Cosmic had the same slab. CGC or sgc. I forget CGC or SGC slab. No gray just authenticated which is one, it's annoying because I think the slave is ugly. But two, it makes sense because if you're going to auction off a multiple thousand dollar card, it has to be authenticated by somebody. Yeah. You know, so. Right, that makes sense. So it is what it is. All right, Wells, so we got some Panini news. We are expecting a new set from Panini next week. 2026PMLW ring royalty. Expected to be released next week July 15th. The breakdown of this set is going to be 10 cards per pack, one pack per box, 16 boxes per case. You're gonna get two autos and six either inserts or parallels per box on average. Box art features killer cross, Mystico, Shotzi, Blackheart and Matt Riddle on it. It's funny because like this, literally like which auto is this? The portrait signatures looks exactly like WWE royalty. Yeah. Honestly the MLW card looks maybe even a little sharper. It's nice. It is very nice looking. I'm sure it's going to be a sought after card. The blank slates, which is a popular case hit for other sports does look kind of ass in my opinion. It's just like a blank gold background like that gradients into the wrestler. Yeah, but I don't know. It is, it's. It's interesting. But yeah. I'm assuming the checklist is going to come out soon. No official checklist yet, but we do see Ultimo Guerrero, Shotzi, Blackheart, Mystico, Kruger, Shoko Nakajima and Ric Flair as a bunch of the names that are featured in the product. Yeah. So if anyone plans on ripping any of that, let us know. Love to see what you hit and love to see what you're chasing. So that should be out next week. And then to round out everybody this week, got a little tops, little panini, and a little upper deck. So I'll protected release two new cards last week on their On Demand, uh, kind of E pack style. Mick Foley got a new arrivals card, and Hologram got a AW Faces card. So hope anyone that's chasing those sets were able to pick up the McFoley on the hologram. We are also expecting 2026 upper deck AW flagship soon, scheduled for July 22nd. So about two weeks away. I haven't seen a checklist yet, but hopefully this week we do get something that'll kind of solidify the release date for us a little bit. But again, yeah, we haven't seen anything and it was delayed once before, so we're hoping that that'll be it. And we got some new aw. I'm excited for that set. There's some cool chases in this one, I think. Yeah, I mean, I'm certainly gonna pick up a box once it's out just because. Yeah, I'll typically usually rip something of AW when it comes out new and who knows, maybe pop into a couple breaks. So, yep, should have some releases on the way. And in the meantime, we have to resort to our purchases off of ebay and onto the social. So let's open up some purchases from our Patreon members. And in the meantime, did you pick up anything? So, yeah, so we were in Florida. Picked up just some, like, random stuff from the park, some shirts and. And stuff from. From Disney. I got two new coffee mugs. I think you picked up the same one. The Starbucks exclusive, Magic Kingdom exclusive. Got that. And then I got. Picked up a mug from Hollywood Studios. I picked up some stuff from Universal. We went out to the city walk that night just to hang out and have dinner. So I got some. Some new stuff from there and then picked up the most random ass. I was so bored in the airport. I was like, just like making offers on random stuff that. It's been in my watch list. So I did pick up a sealed copy of WrestleMania 14 on VHS. I think I'm gonna start little VHS collection. See, just like sealed, like good, good sealed copies of stuff that I just want to put away. Like my favorite shows. Not. Not everything at all. Like, it'll be probably like 10 wrestling tapes all together. Just stuff that I love that I want to put away. So I started with that one actually. I got Same show, WrestleMania 14. I've never seen it before. It was the souvenir cup from the event. Oh. Popped up on ebay, held on to. Yeah, I've never seen it. It has a little crack along like probably. I mean based on the picture it looks like maybe like an inch or so on the side. It's got a little crack from the top but like nothing noticeable. I can, I could just hide it when I display it, but I'd never seen one. And how many of those could possibly be around at this point? So I scooped that up and then I picked up a. Just like a WWF vintage WWF shirt. One of the logo shirts from. I think I forget what year this is from. 96 or 95 or 96. That'll be one of my fanatics best shirts. I always try to wear a little vintage at Fanatics festival for you know, for wrestling to represent. So that'll be one of my, one of my shirts for the weekend and I think that was it. Nothing really card related. Oh, I did rip a. I ripped a blaster of tops Chrome Marvel that just came out. It's really a really sick set. I'm gonna try to get more of that and from what I heard retail is loaded. So I'm gonna try to hit some autos and stuff like that. But yeah, it's a really nice set. Really cool inserts and stuff. Actually went out yesterday for the first time in like two or three weeks to see if I could find any, anything. See what was even in Target. Like what was. I don't even know. I didn't know it was even out there. Yeah, and not much is out right now across the board. No, I mean Finest baseball just dropped so there might be some retail of that coming. I saw that at Barnes and Noble. Yeah, other than that, not much. Yeah, Target had like Series two baseball. Yeah. The same Prism Football blasters they've had for the last seven months. And you know, prism retail must have sucked if prison football has been on the shelves for this long. Like I see it in every Target I go to and it's awful. I mean I opened Megas and a bunch of blasters and I hit like one auto of like a fourth string running back that probably isn't even in the league anymore. Yeah, so it was brutal. I was actually in Target looking at, looking at the cards and some, some guy walks up and he's like, hey, man, what are you. What are you looking for? And I'm like, no one ever talked to me in the car aisle before. It sounds like a drug dealer. So I'm like, yeah, nothing. I'm like, I don't know. I'm just, like, looking at. Looking for anything new. I don't even know what's out right now. And he was like, oh, I just came from Barnes and Noble up the road. They had tops. Finest baseball. Love. That set just came out. I'm gonna probably go back and get some more of that. Okay. Why are you talking to me? He's trying to make friends, and he ended up grabbing a Bowman Mega. So. Baseball. Yeah. Which, like, again, that's another set where, like, I feel like those boxes in years past, you couldn't. They. They couldn't keep them on the shelf. Yeah. And now you walk into target and there's 15 of them in every. Every store. Right. Usually is a sign that people know what the hit rates are and they're not taking chances. No, retail's hot. It's. You're not gonna get it if it's cold. It's. You're gonna see him at plenty. I know you haven't been home the last couple of days. You've been busy. But the Gamestop by your house loaded with Pokemon, loaded with Magic the Gathering, which I know you're now a magic guy, so we'll sure you'll talk about that. Well, part of my purchases was ripping the Magic the Gathering Marvel. Yeah, the collector's edition. So those are. Those are expensive packs. Those are ripping, like 38 a clip. So I picked up a few of those. I have no idea what I got. I don't even know what to list them at because I. Is it new? Because, like, there's not a lot of sales on ebay of a lot of the I pulled people are holding. Interesting because, like, so in the collector's edition packs, a lot of the cards within the pack are hollow, and there's full arts that are not hollow or hollow. So I'm, like, all confused. It's tough to read the checklist because there's, like, alt B, alt A. And I'm like, I don't know what the. I'm looking at. So I'm just sitting on a stack of Magic the Gathering. If anyone knows about it, please tell me, and I'll send pictures to. To help me. Yeah. So magic is now getting into the. Not now. I mean, they've been doing it, but they collaborated with Spider man last year. Now it's a big set. There are some really big cards out of that. They've done Marvel, now they've done Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. So they're starting to, I guess, do more of these collaborations with their sets. And those are the. Those are the cards that people are after. I remember last year at Comic Con, trying to find those collectors packs of Spider man because there was a couple of full art hollows that I wanted. And actually I got one of the promo cards they gave out at the magic booth last year at Comic Con, and I sold it for, like, 50 bucks. It's pretty good. So, Yep. So I picked up a bunch of that. I picked up the Disney exclusive Larry o' Brien trophy pin that they were randomly giving out. I had to buy one just because the Knicks won the championship. And I visited Disney in the same year, so I thought it was a perfect fit. It's the Larry o' Brien with Mickey ears. So snag that. Didn't say anything about the Knicks on it, but I. Obviously, we won in 2026, and I'm just gonna hold on to it as part of my Knicks championship collection. So ended up grabbing that. Got the Disney 250 baseball jersey. That will also be just a hold. I will not take the tags off. I will not wear it. And in 25 years, I'm hoping it's worth a couple hundred bucks for, you know, Disney 275. So that's the plan for that. I wish I found the Disney 250 pin. They were completely sold out across all parks. And I didn't realize, but apparently there was a Disney250 Buzz Lightyear figure. Oh, no. That Broski posted that he got it. Wish I would have knew. I know we up. I haven't checked what it's selling for on ebay yet, but I. In all fairness, we went to two parks, and we spent two nights at and at Disney Springs, and I didn't see that once. Oh, well, they're selling over a hundred, and we weren't. We're in Hollywood Studios in Toy Story Land. Yeah, this is it. Oh, wow. Yeah. Yep. 250th anniversary Buzz Lightyear USA, which I'm sure it was available, and we just didn't see it. So. Yeah, drop the ball on that, because I think he's there now. I would have snagged like, two or three of them. Yes. We left. He got there. So might have been there, but I don't know. We'll see. Yeah. So that was it for me. And let's Take a look at our Facebook members and we're gonna start it up with John Thurman. 2022 AEW Metal Universe. Serena Deeb. Out of 10 auto. 2025 AW Flagship Serena, deep Red Neon monikers Aaron and Nunziata. Patience has paid off. Finally acquired one of the three 2022 MJF PMGs this week. That's the one with the Burberry scarf. Looks like entrance pick William Hackenberg. I've been taking Danny's advice and grabbing the cheaper spots and big breaks and have had some success. Fallon out of 25, auto from royalty. Izzy out of 10, patch auto from royalty and a kit number to 5 auto from cosmic. Those spots could end up paying off long term, especially with some. If you're, if you're a women's hunter, you never know who's gonna spring up and be top. I mean, you've, you've certainly learned this the hard way and I've seen it a million times. But just because you buy the most expensive spot in the in the break doesn't mean you're gonna hit anything. Doesn't mean you're gonna hit. Yeah, I've had my Ls. Yeah. Two more. Johnny. JB broke with Danny Medina last week and hit me a tops. Royalty 1 of 1 Brutus Beefcake Auto and Jonathan Francisco. I'm not surprised. Some sweet pickups. 2024 Starlight Kit, autographed ring worn mask and a super Rare pack pulled 2001 Noah Mitsuharu Misawa autograph. Nice. Yep. Pretty damn cool. Yeah. So that rounds out all of our purchases. All right. Yeah. So that'll wrap up purchases, that'll wrap up news. And let's head over to the final segment of this week's show, which is card corner. Welcome back to the final segment of this week's show, and it's a bit of a controversial one, so we're gonna get right into it. It's kind of an extension of the news from this past week, but I thought it was important enough to warrant its own little segment. So we are going to discuss the latest news from Tops, one of their latest decisions on trying to improve the hobby for the collector. So beginning this week with 2025, 2026, tops Chrome update basketball Mega Boxes. Tops is shipping all of those boxes that are, that are purchased on the website without the protective plastic seal around the boxes. This is, this is what they've has, they've said is a test to see if the, basically if this limits flipping on the secondary market and if it allows collectors to rip at retail price and more, you know, get into the, get into this product in a more affordable way. Definitely stirred up a little bit of a controversy around the hobby. We spoke about it in our group a little bit this past week, but it's time to address it on the show. So what do you think of. Of TOPS's latest decision? I think for retail, it's a really good idea because ultimately we know that retail obviously has less hits. So in terms of getting tampered with, I obviously, Tops is going to tamper their own ship. But even though they don't have a great track record of, like, having their own controversies with, like, missing hits and a whole host of stuff. But retail is supposed to be made to be affordable and to be ripped. It was never meant for a Mega box to be, you know, 25. Honestly, there's mega boxes. Back in the day, it used to be 15 bucks. Like, I remember we were opening 2018 Bowman chasing Otani for 15 mega boxes or 20 mega boxes. You know, now it's become where the mega box is, 40, 60, 80, and it's supposed to be available and it's supposed to be ripped. So the fact that these aren't going to resell for 100, 150, 200, 300 bucks, hopefully in stores, because people are just buying them in mass quantities on TOPS website, I think is an overall really positive thing. It's a good thing. I think it's gonna work. But unfortunately, I don't think this should go for hobby boxes because there's just too big of hits that can ultimately get messed with where there's a lot of liability involved. I mean, a pack, if packs fall out of the box and ends up in a package and they're all over the place, they could get damaged. You know, what if someone at USPS or FedEx or something, you know, breaks into one of these packages? All of a sudden they start stealing packs out of a box because they know they're open. Like there is some risk and liability involved on TOPS end. But if you keep it a retail, got no problem with it. I love it. Yeah, I love it. Because now it's, it certainly is going to limit the flipping. I mean, it may, it may eliminate the flipping on those, the products that this is featured in. Because at the end of the day, unless you're getting that unsealed box from Tops, you can't trust it from anywhere, anyone else, right? So anyone that's gonna buy it is going to want to buy it directly from them and it's going to be at their price. And you would presume that they're going to rip, rip it, because you can't even like, order it and then rip it on stream because how does anyone know you didn't go through it already, right? You know, so, like, it really eliminates a lot of problems a, with the, with the whatnot and the, you know, the live platform crowd that is buying all that stuff up just to rip it on stream. It eliminates the, the resellers buying up, you know, 50 mega boxes and flipping them for 100. So it's getting this stuff into the hands of the people that actually want to open the packs and collect the cards and that. I like what you said before. Mega boxes, blaster boxes, fat packs, all that stuff is meant to be ripped and it's meant to be collected. It's not meant to be flipped. It's not meant to be treated like a hobby box. It's not, it's, it's not. The hit rates aren't the same. It's not meant to be a 400 product. It's meant for the average person to go into a big box store and to be a part of this hobby. Yeah. So I love that they're gonna do that. And I, I've even seen stories of, of like hobby shops and targets and stuff. Like, you know, people doing this there where they're just cutting the seal. Yeah. Or they're just like slicing the front of the box or they're slicing the seal because once you do that, presumably you can't really flip it or sell it because it's technically been tampered with. So, yeah, the person that's buying that, they should be buying it to rip it and to enjoy it, not to try to profit from it. Yeah. And I don't think breakers and card shop owners should be getting rich off of retail. Like, that's not what it's meant for. It never was the case. Like, you shouldn't even get it. Well, and they should not get it. They should have to go and, and get it from Target and wherever else the big box stores, like everybody else does. I say hobby shops. Yes. Breakers, no. Hobby shops have to. Because think about it. If you're in an area where there is not a Walmart or Target accessible or those are always sold out, how do you expect people in rural areas to be able to rip? Okay, maybe there is a wonky hobby shop. They can get it, but it can't go over msrp. How do you police that, though? I don't know. You send out. You send reps out to these stores and you check their pricing. I've seen it. You can, you know, like, not gonna name any names, but we know someone that we used to buy cards from that was. They were buying it from a secondary seller because they didn't have a brick and mortar and reselling it in their. Their quote unquote store. And then they got shut down for it because they were not a. They were not a brick and mortar and they were not an authorized seller, but they were still reselling product. So they were. They were caught and they were shut down. And that's how it should be. But I shouldn't. I understand the middle of the country type thing where like, if you're four hours away from an LCS or you're, you know, you're an hour and a half away from a Target or something like that. Like, okay, fine, but you and I walk into our LCS, we should never see a blaster for $80. No, it just shouldn't be allowed though. That product is meant for the 13 year old kid who wants to go into Target and rip it that can't afford hobby boxes or, or even I'm 35 and I can't afford a 400 hobby box every week. No. So Blasters and Megas keep me active within the hobby and allow me to open new stuff and, and see what it looks like and you know, not. I'm not expecting that big hits all the time but it allows me to stay relevant and I shouldn't have to pay double that because some loser who owns a car shop went and sent his cronies to a Target when it opens, took all the product and is now selling for double the price. You. That's not what it's meant for. I agree. Do you think it should be the case for hobbies and jumbos? Hobby is tough because like what you said, there is risk of tampering. There is risk of stuff maybe not being packaged the best way and maybe packs get miss, go missing or they get damaged. I mean there's also, listen, not everybody is perfect and not everybody is a model citizen. And you know there are going to be people that work in those warehouses that you know if their, their job is to rip the cellophane or their job is to package uncellophaned hobby boxes and they know, oh, it was Cooper flags on the or Victor women Yama is on the COVID of this box and man, maybe I'll slip a pack here or I'll, you know. Yeah, I don't know. You don't want to think that that happens. But again, we live in a world where not everybody is perfect and I think that's too much of a risk to take with hobby when people are spending 4, 5, 6, 700 on this stuff. I think the only way you could combat hobbies and jumbos to where it's going to be more accessible and in people's hands is if you just limit the quantity on them. So instead of tops going online and saying okay, you could buy a case of this or your limit, you could buy up to you know, 10 boxes loose. Maybe just make it one hobby per order or two hobbies per order. That way you know that more people are going to get a crack at it and be able to actually win an EQL or you know, just outright be able to get it because how many bots can you send out that will be able to get like a single box per transaction? How many could you stack up on? Yeah, I agree. I. I actually spoke about this with David Lloyd over the Squared Circle Relics podcast. We were talking about it, and we were both talking about an idea that he had mentioned where there should be tears. And, you know, like, tier one is like the Breakers. Tier two are the hobby shop, you know, the hobby shop owners or the certified, you know, resellers or certified customers. And then the third tier is like Average Joe, like us. And there should be an allocation of a product for each tier. And once it runs out in each tier, it runs out in each tier. And you can only buy within your tier. But how do you police someone that owns a hobby shop now all of a sudden saying, well, I don't care. I'm just gonna buy from the other tier? I mean, you take the license, you take their. If they get caught, you take their. You know, maybe they have to purchase from an official platform. Do you honestly think of a Backyard Breaks gets caught doing that, they're gonna get stripped or like a filth bomb. Yeah, they should. No, they're not. No. They spend too much money for Tops to really give a. So then. Then that's life. Unfortunately. I'm not saying it's right or wrong. I'm saying that's how it is, though. How many accounts a year? But I think you can do it where the Shops are fighting against the Shops for allocation, the breakers are fighting against the breakers for allocation, and then you and I are fighting against each other. But I should not be. I should not have to compete with the Backyard Breaks to get product. It should just be separate. Yeah, well, I mean, you gotta. But you're right. I mean, at the end of the day, Tops doesn't figure out a solution. What's that loser's name from Backyard Breaks? Whatever. I don't know. Or the main guy that always gets in trouble is what stops him from creating, you know, whatever, baseball123@gmail.com account and hopping in with the rest of us. Yep. The only thing that would help that is limit on allocation. Right. So, like, say, tier one are the hobby shops. Maybe the allocation is five cases. Tier two, the. The streamers, their allocation is two cases. And then maybe the random people like me and you, we're only allowed one box per. Per transaction. That's going to limit a Backyard Breaks from jumping into our pool. Yeah, because what is he gonna do at one box, right? He's not even gonna want to bother you would hope they wouldn't want to. No, because it's not. It does. It's not Going to pay for them. Yeah. You know, where, where, you know, those guys make their money is in, is in bulk and it's having, you know, 25 cases of something and ripping it for five days straight, 24 hours a day. You know, that's where they get their advantage. Right. It's not the two hobby boxes that they're going to take from me. Yeah. Because then they're also gonna get private allocation distribution too. Right. So. But yeah, I mean, I, I like, if anything else, I like that Tops is acknowledging that this is a problem and they're acknowledging that they're trying to do something to help the average collector open product at their price. Whether it's going to work or not work, we don't know yet. But I like that they're actually trying and they're going to try something because it is a problem that certainly is. And I, I can't remember the last time I won a product off of like Tops's website for a hobby box. Yeah. And it's not from not trying. I'll tell everyone that. I mean, I haven't tried because it's. I hear your stories and I'm like, why even bother? Yeah, yeah, it sucks. You know, and I hope that this is a success and that everything goes well and that they extend this to all retail because, you know, it would be nice to be able to go on Tops website and get a Mega Box of Tops Chrome WWE at their MSRP and have it sent over and just. I'm able to rip that on my own and not worry about fighting people for that. Because you shouldn't. At the end of the day, you shouldn't be fighting people for, for retail. Yeah. It, it's meant to just walk into the store or walk on or go online and order at your leisure like that. For a limited time. Yes. Until it should sell out. Right. Until it's gone. Yeah. And who knows, maybe people don't care. And like, I'm sure the, the Tops Chrome update basketball, it's gonna sell out because there's debut patches in there and everyone knows what those did with baseball. There's, you know, so there's gonna be a lot of big basketball ones, especially as you have the Cooper Flag debut patch. Yeah. Is going to be a life changing card. Yep. So that product is going to sell out, but I'm hoping it's someone that, you know, it's a normal collector that pulls it from one of the Megas and not, you know, a Backyard breaks streaming 25 cases of it for, for five days. Yep. And it would be nice to see the Collector get a win for one. So yeah, I'm I'm very excited and happy that Topps did this. It just shows that they're trying. Yeah, I agree.
