So I don't want that, but I'm enjoying the stash. Other than that, we're trying to find, like, Pokemon content to talk about this week, and we couldn't really creep up a whole lot. So I think we're gonna be previewing Indianapolis and maybe talking some. Some trash about our boy Shay Gilgeous Alexander and his foul baiting. I think that's gonna be topic of the day. And I'm watching right now. And you'll have it. I have it on my tv. But yeah, we got the Knicks in the finals. That was very happy for them. And the Knicks fans, I think they deserve it. And I liked watching. I always enjoy watching those videos. Look, the Knicks fans outside the Garden or just in the city. Yeah, I mean, I actually think it would be a bucket list item for me to like, go, like, experience that, like, be there. Yeah, I don't think that's as embarrassing as you think it might be embarrassing at all. I think it's hype. I mean, like, I remember when the Raptors won. Like, our. Our fan is also crazy. But I mean, I feel like the Knicks, like, the way they take it to is another level. Dude, they're nuts. Do you see? You see Spike Lee and those guys got denied, like, courtside with Dan Gilbert. Honestly, like, I. I could respect that. I mean, that's the home court, right? Like, the owner wants the home fans. I mean, it's his arena. It's like, that's. That's Cleveland's team. I don't like it. I mean, bro, like, at the end of the day, like, I'm not like, shedding a tear that these guys, like, these rich guys or celebrities don't get to sit like front row. If they win a championship. If he wins, yes. I think was gonna say like 110 mil pay cut to. To play here. Impressive. Well, he didn't actually take a pay cut. He just signed his extension a year early instead of playing it out. But, yeah, he could have got 110 million more, which is respect. All right, let's see. New York Knicks fans can't sit courtside. I saw, though, that they had Timothy Chalamet and Kylie Jenner. They moved them courtside, like, the second half. Well, they're celebrities. I think it makes sense to have them courtside. I get why they don't want, like, the next super fans, I guess. Yeah. So, I mean, good for the Knicks. That's hype for them. I hope they win the finals, regardless of who they play against. I don't. I mean, they'll be pretty big underdogs regardless, but I think it's possible. I think they could win. Like, I don't think Oklahoma or, like, San Antonio are like, that good, to be honest. So it's like, it's possible that I'm really hoping San Antonio gets the business done here. I'm like, as much as I'm pulling for our Canadian brother, like, I think I'm gonna have seen enough of these guys by, like, 2030 that I just want to get it over with now. Like, let's just. They have, what is it, 11 first and second round picks between now and 2030. Like, they're not getting any worse, so. Well, if he's not wearing a Canada jersey, like, I'm not cheering for him. There's so many factors to this whole thing. It's just like, I like parody a lot. And, like, that's why I can't really watch soccer that much. At least, like, League soccer, like, European soccer, because you see the same teams win all the time. And when I see, like, they didn't do anything wrong, they just. They got blessed in the trade department. Right. Like, teams are giving them stupid amount of picks for no reason, so. But they're gonna be around for a while, and I'm kind of already sick of them, so I will be cheering against them for the time being. Yeah, actually, you know, you'll be proud of me. Last night, I was, like, I had a really long day, and, like, I had to do some, like, administrative stuff late at night, and there was no basketball to watch. I watched the Canadiens game. At the game, I saw them. They got battered. I saw the. They didn't get a shot off the whole overtime. I was like, what is this? Yeah, they'll. I think they'll fix it up, but, yeah, that wasn't a good look. The shots are, like, 33 and 12 or something at one point, so I'm hoping they fix up, dude. Yeah, we'll have to see if they get the dub. And also, Neil, I got sent this. This was for being the ambassador program. So I don't have to say gifted by Pokemon, but I'll say gifted by Pokemon, just in case. They sent me the first partner illustration collection and a perfect order etv. So I appreciate it. So you and I were debating if I should open this or not. Yeah. We said it's probably a bad financial decision to open it, but we're gonna do it. Yeah, let's just do it. It's a slow week. I'm. Honestly, I wish I wasn't. Like, to be completely honest. Like, I was out testing with the fellas tonight, and I was like, guys, like, please put me out of my misery. Like, we normally play King's Court, and we'll just go and we keep going. Like, I'll get like. I'm like, yo, I get into it because I'm trying to play, right? I'm trying to stay into it. And, like, so I'm sweating. I'm trying hard tonight. I was like, guys, take me out of this. I don't want to even play. This is miserable. No matter what deck you pick up, it almost feels like, it's like, I'd rather be doing anything else. So I bought a bunch of sticker packs instead. I bought a booster box of stickers instead. I saw you open that, actually. Yeah. On your story. Yeah. But so apparently the Ronaldo I pulled, I pulled this red Ronaldo, and I was like, okay, sick, right? So Ronaldo, apparently it's worth 400 bucks. So. Yeah, so, yeah, so we're gonna throw it on ebay. And dad's in super into it, so he's finding the stores to go hit and get these stickers or whatever. So, yeah, no, we've been having fun with it, but, yeah, I am going to Indianapolis. I do low key. Wish that. I mean, I shouldn't say that. I think it'll still be fun. It'll still be fun. Outside of the Pokemon. It's just like playing right now when you have nothing to play for. Like, like the position I'm kind of in where I'm like, I'm not going for stipend, but I have my invite. It's like, it kind of feels pointless at this point to play something you're not finding completely fun. But we're doing well, so I guess there's some merit to that, I suppose. Nice. Cool. Like, anything else random for us to talk about? Anil that happened? I want a challenge on the weekend. Oh, yeah? How'd that go? I mean, like, there was six people, and people are very. They're just like. They just like, bless me. So now I have finished my challenges, and then there's only one week in the cups. Yeah, it's over. I didn't realize. So I'm busy on Saturday, so I have one cup I can play on Sunday. It'll be super free for you, I think, because everyone's gonna be in indie, so you'll be fine. All right. Maybe I just play Dragon Pull. Hopefully I don't. Brick. Yeah. To be honest, I've always found those cups to be the hardest. Like, the last two that I won, I won one last weekend and, like, the weekend before, they were both, like, pretty big cups with world players and, like, it gets you up for the occasion because you're like, all right, I actually gotta, like, lock in a little bit. When you get to a cup and there's like eight mans there and you've, like, never met any of them in your life. I. I find those the hardest to win because I'm like, I don't know what's happening. Like, my opponent's going to have, like, slow king and just Knock me off the board or something. Like always some cheese in those cups, I find. Yeah, I agree. They, they just like randomness or like I'm gonna show up and like people are just all playing Garchomp or something. Yeah, that's how I felt when I went down to Buffalo for that league challenge. I'm like, I don't know what the hell I'm getting myself into here, but it can't be good. And I got absolutely farmed. So yeah, you never know. So as. Even though it should be free on paper, you never really know. So yeah, you got one more week of challenges and cups to get it done. I know there's a few challenges during the week. There was one tonight at Hobbies Villa. I didn't end up going, but there's definitely some opportunities. So hopefully you can get out there, get some more points. We'll do that and then, yeah, I guess we can move on maybe to talking about what actually happened on the weekend. This was very good episode length. Padding at the start. Neil, good job today, dude. Crazy padding there. That was like a world record of padding. Shout out Pokemon for the packs and for. Yeah. All right, so we had a regional down Under, Melbourne, Australia. 959 players. So these are like, you know, rookie numbers out here. Under a thousand. What's going on in Australia? I saw, I was at the. The OCIC venue the last time they had it and I actually went there when I played OCIC and they showed the photo and I was like, man, like this venue is so small compared to what we do now. It's a really nice venue. I remember when I went like the. They. They had like the small hall, it's like right downtown. Melbourne's really nice. There's a water that runs through the city. So yes, we had no surprise. We had a dragapult mirror match in the finals. So our weekend of no dragapult winning was short lived because I think there was also some tournaments around the world. There was one in Lima that was Dragonfall. I think there was one in might have been Singapore that happened that was also won by Dragon Ball from what I understand. So Dragon took it down. There was, you know, a few other decks and cut. We had our believa, Raging Bolt and slot box. So, you know, there was a variety. There's a slow King at ninth. That's fun. least kind of there. It has to be like four or five times this year we look at like limitless results and there's always like a slow king just Randomly in asymm or like top 16? Like, yeah, yeah, I do think that's happened more than twice. I think you're right. There's like been some sort of trend to that, so we got that there. All right, but we can maybe start and look at the overall metagame. So it looks like straight Pult or Pult Hammer has taken over as the most popular Dragon Pult list or build at 10% here with Pultener at 9% right behind. And then Dragonfall does a whole new 27% which is kind of. Or 26% kind of crazy to say. I actually think that's kind of low for Dragonfold are like. Yeah. What would you set the line at this weekend for Indy at the over under DragonFL meta spare percentage? Is it like a 30.5? Are we saying even higher? Lower? I was gonna say like 35, dude. Like 35. I don't know, I feel like it's like. I don't know. The more I play this meta, the more I realize it and I know other like players have said it too. It's like it's either you're playing dragapult or you're throwing like it honestly feels that way. I don't know why you'd play if you cared about this. I don't know why you'd play anything besides Dragon Ball personally. Which makes me like, it surprises me that these numbers are what they are a little bit. So definitely an outlier. A little bit. But Australia, I mean, it's a smaller sample size, right? Like these. These tournaments when they're smaller, you never really know and never really works out the way you think. So. Yeah. You also had Tim Danklin diluting the meta with all the rockets. I saw he even recruited as well this weekend onto the Honchkrow. So was he there? Yes, it was there. He got tough. 82. Oh, nice. Why was he there? My fourth? I don't really know. I think he just wanted to go. I saw he like last weekend was doing some like trolling Toad Australia eventually. Yeah. I mean, like, I don't know, Melbourne's a cool place. So I think he's only done Toronto and Melbourne this year, so I guess just doing some international travel. Okay. So I mean, you know, he might. I don't know if he's playing Naic, but he's didn't get his invite here, so he's got a clutch up at the nasc. He played Honchikrow. He started well. I think he started like 1, 2. Yeah, 7. 1 and then he lost the first two of day two. I don't know. Was this just Zapdos TCG list? Actually, if I go on Main Limitless, I can check. So. Interesting how like, these decks just kind of pop up. Hashgrow is so random. Yeah, it is. All right. He was playing the Zapdos list and you can see here a lot of people made day two with the list. So this might just be. If you guys go to India, you got to study this list. If your opponent flips over a murkrow, they're probably just playing this. Yeah, this deck is interesting for sure. Yeah, it's. I think this deck is bad News Bears for like everything that I'm considering. So I'm hoping it stays down a little bit. But yeah, I think most people are. I don't know. It's really hard to like plan for this meta, I find. Right. Like, there's so many different decks. Yeah. The problem is, like, it's easy to plan for Dragon Pull, but then like, every other deck is like a 5% deck. So it's kind of hard. You just pick and choose, like, which random ones you lose to. I mean, I've played Honchkro a bit more this week and I guess last week it actually is like better into Dragapult than I thought it was. I think the Pultener is really hard, but I think normal Dragapult, I think you can actually beat them. Like, you get stamped and it's like, all right, do I draw like Transceiver Ariana or Headset? If I do, it's like, I feel pretty good. If I don't, then, yeah, the game is kind of chalked. But yeah, I mean, Honchko's pretty solid fact that this is what we're doing now is insane. When you think about how great our format was now it's like, oh, I hope I draw the right cards. And you know what's funny? When I was looking at the win percentage of decks, Alakazam was actually one of the few decks over 50%. Even though Rocket's Honchkrow showed up in numbers this weekend, it didn't like, do that well in terms of like a high profile finish, but it had like an okay win rate. Al Kazam felt like it was in a good spot going into this weekend, to be honest, it did feel proper. And I think it still does. Like, I still think Al Kazam's in a pretty good spot. Yeah, I mean, I'm just like flipping through here. Like, most people didn't play The Rabsca Forest list that we saw do well in Brazil, where I think that list was pretty innovative. Pretty cool. This one list, I was randomly clicking on Ethan Sutton. He played 2. 2 rabsca and 2 forest, so I like it. Yeah, I think. I think that's a cool way to play it. I mean, I think, like, you have to respect Dragapult, obviously, so that was pretty cool. Anything else in the meta that was interesting? Not really. Actually, Zoric ended up being the second the most popular non dragon Pult deck. That is interesting. Yeah, really interesting. Actually, it did quite well, like, at the Campina's event, and it did okay at Ucheck, so not that surprising, maybe. But honestly, I find it shocking. I was gonna say, I was like, I completely disagree. I find it shocking. I don't. I, like, I want to believe in it so bad. I put in so many hours to it, but it just doesn't feel like anyone can crack it right now. So Christian was playing that. That list that got to, like, 2,000 Elo with that Japanese player. I don't know if you saw that tweet, but yeah, so. So there's this Japanese dude who got to, like, 2,000 Elo with Zoroark, and he didn't release the list. He's like, all right, like, Japan championship's coming up. Like, I'm gonna gatekeep this. Christian got it. I'm sure they're boys or something, right? And. And he played it, and this is the list. And this guy got to legit 2000ELO online with Zoric, and, like, everyone thought it was the craziest thing. So this is the list. You're going crazy trying to basically blow up everything, but it seems pretty strong. And I'm not gonna lie, like, it is a deck that, like, has kind of crept back onto my radar for this weekend, even though I swore it off a couple weeks ago because it just felt like the power level was a little bit too low with that red card. But I guess we're making it work. What's the punk helmet for? Like, what matchups are you trying to use that? Not too sure. I mean, it probably helps a lot into Dragapult. You can fix a lot of good math there. I mean, it helps into, like, the big 330s and 340s. So, like, your Lucario is really good into there too. Hydrapple, probably. But you're getting one shot anyway, so I don't know how much it matters. I'm sure there's matchups where it works. The other thing, too. Does that trigger twice against Festival Lead? It does, but if they go bangle plus Kieran or Black Belt, like, they knock you out on the first swing. But it does trigger twice, I think, actually. So you could knock it out, I guess. Yeah, it's definitely twice. So I guess if they don't. Yeah, if they don't get that. But even then, I think festival is still cooks you. Yeah, I think so too. That's my issue. Like, I really do want to play this this weekend. I just don't know if I trust the fact that all these green stuff is gonna go away. There's just so much green stuff that you can't really deal with. And Dust Pulse not really too fun either. So I don't know. I'm actually, like, very conflicted, which almost never happens to me before an event. Like, I'm very, very conflicted. That's what I want to play. So this is definitely. It was definitely an interesting result for me to look through, too. Yeah. No, for sure. What was the other decks that, like, Law Punny? I mean, did it go up and play? Didn't perform as well this weekend as it did in Utrecht. We had Bolt. Bolt picked up a little bit. I'm not that surprised. Hydrapple actually reached, like, pretty much 5%. So, like, that's a pretty big uptick, I think. I wouldn't even be that surprised to see Hydrophil continue to go up. It might even be, like, the second most played deck in indie because, like, you know, people only had a week between Campinas and this event to learn hydrapple. So I think, you know, two weeks leading to Indy, like, that's a reasonable amount of time for people to pick up the deck if they want to give it a go. So I don't know, maybe hydrapple goes up and play a little bit heading into Indy. We'll see when we go through the dragonfl decks at the top, but a lot of them have adapted to start playing Moltres now. It's interesting. And I guess the other thing we're talking about, Drag Pulp, is it feels like Dragon Ball Blazing has kind of fallen off a little bit here. It's down to just, like 3.7% where the first tournament, the format, I think it was in Prague. Right. What was it at? It was that. Yeah, I was at 10.5. So it feels like it's really taking a backseat to just the hammer build. So it's funny, like, how quick a meta can shift in, like, basically like a month yeah, so, yeah, interesting and lame all at the same time because I thought Dragon Ball Blazing was a cool deck, so it sucks that it's not anymore. I think it's still, it's still an okay deck because you're playing Dragonfall and one of the main top eight, which we'll get to. Yeah, it's kind of falling off, so maybe we'll go through Top Cut. Actually, this is probably, I think, the second or maybe the third event of the year where x21 actually ended up whiffing Top Cut. Not even Asym. I saw some people not happy about that. I mean, I don't know, just like win more games. It's unfortunate, but win more games. I, I, yeah, I don't know. I think x21 is a brutal whiff to Asim, but I guess it's just the way the cook. I mean, there's only 12 rounds though this event. Right. So, yeah, most of the regionals we've been doing this year have been eight rounds. Day one, six, day two. Right. Like this one was like four. Yeah. Eight day one, two whole rounds less. Right, Right. So it's like, I don't know, like going X2. One, I think, or having to go 10 and two, I think is like reasonable when like all the other regionals you have to go like 11, 2, 1. Right. So it sucks, don't get me wrong, but I don't think it's like that big of a deal. Again, like, if X2.1 made a save, it would have gone all the way down to 19. So I guess these people would have missed as well. So. Yeah, yeah, I mean, I would like to see them just add the ninth round back. Like, you know how we used to always have the ninth round on the first day? Yeah. I think I'd be down for that to come back. And these D2s are too big now. Like, there's just like, there's too many people in day two and it just doesn't have the same, same luster that it used to have. Used to be like, oh, sick you day two and now it's just like, oh, okay, you day two. And then like the problem is on the day, like I've, I've always found that second day of Pokemon is just like a completely different feel to the first day. And like, you can go on runs, you can go ice cold. You don't really know. But I find that the meta changes. Like everything changes. And I liked the fact that more rounds were in day one and less than day two. Well, I guess phase one. Sorry, I should rephrase that. Just because it filtered out some stuff that maybe shouldn't be in day two. Like, there's a lot more random stuff. No, not even elitist, man. Like, I know I'm mad. I think there's a lot of. There's a lot of stuff that probably shouldn't be there. I don't know. There's one more round or one last round. Really, like, filter it out that much? I mean, I think it's fine that day two is big. I think, like, there's definitely a noticeable difference between like, the top tables of day two and like, just like the normal tables, day two. Like, I. I feel the difference when I'm having a good run versus when I'm having a bad run, which part of the day two section I'm at. So I think overall it's like, fine that more people get to play day two. I just, like, I personally used to put a lot of merit in the idea of, like, if I see something on Limitless, it is worth trying or worth looking at. And I just can't put the same level of confidence into that anymore for my own testing. Just because, like, I do think the last round makes a huge difference. I do think the difference between 6:2:1 and 5:2:1 is huge. Oh, yeah, that would cut out probably like 100 people or something for. Yeah. And it's not a people thing. It's not saying, like, certain people don't deserve to be there. It's just like, there's a lot more meme decks in day two than there used to be. It's kind of what I'm getting at. But, you know, whatever, it's cool. I remember when the day two system came though, the first time, it was just top 32 made. Day two. Yeah, that's wild. We don't like that. And like to. Sorry to circle back on that too. Like, I think having day two have a lot of players is also a good thing for the fact that people can plan their travel a little bit better. Like, I knew like before, like, people would travel and they'd be like, all right, the odds of me making day two are so low. I'm just gonna try and leave early and then they make it and get caught or whatever. So, like, the fact that the tournament is a two day tournament more consistently is a good thing. Just. Yeah, we need more rounds or we need some sort of like, larger differentiator between the good and the great so that stuff like this doesn't happen. Yeah, I mean, I don't know. I think. I think just the next. The extra round is just like, more Pokemon is better. It reduces variance. Right. So there will always be bubbles, stuff like that, no matter what you do. But more Pokemon. Good. All right. So I think it's more. So like, if we're gonna have the extra round, you might as well put it in day one. That's kind of what I'm. What my thought process is. Well, but then they have to play six day two instead of the way we do it now, where we just play the first round of phase two the first day and play five the next day. But then you fade. You, like, weed out a bunch of things too, right? You weed out a bunch of people. Oh, yeah. Which I think is a good thing. Well, I think it still takes like almost equal amount of time to run the rounds on day two, so I don't know. I suppose. Yeah. I suppose less people doesn't mean that it runs smoother. Yeah, that's true. It's one of those things where, like, I don't think it's like that depressing, but it would be nice. All right, so we'll look at the list number. Hiromu Sasaki took down the tournaments took away in Oceania Auto Invite with Dragapult Hammers. I think the biggest adaptation. And we'll see it in the second place list as well. Just there's a Moltres in here. I mean, Hydrapple one and Campinas. It feels like Raging Bolter Swap box is on the rise a little bit as decks that have slightly favorable Dragon pulp matchups. So I think the Moltra is just like. Gives you that one prize option, you know, like you can just like there's. There's three boss in this list. You could play four just to like, I don't know, like, use a one prizer to trade up. Because I guess the Hydrapple deck specifically can't really function without the ogre pawns, like getting a bunch of energy in play. The slot box stuff can kind of do it. I think. It's hard, but so. And then I'm like, it's just dragonfl. Right. Like Dragonpool and Hammers is good to cover your bases against everything else. So I don't really have much to say about this. Listen, you know, I guess maybe the one comment I'd make is that it seems like, you know, Hedrick's list had that one. One that unsparce line. We see people kind of shying away from it a little bit or Putting some watchtowers in their deck. So my question for you, Neil is going into Indianapolis this weekend. Do you expect this to be the most played version of Dragapult? Do you think people are just gonna adapt this style? If I was going with the intention to win the tournament, I think I would be playing this style of Dragon ball, certainly. I think this is, like, kind of cleared itself a little bit at the top. And, you know, like, if. I don't know, again, if I was, like, tryharding, I think I would be playing right now. I'd probably be playing a double Watchtower build with moltres crushing hammers UV3 Christmas to bail you out of your opponent's crushing hammers. And you run with it like that. I think Moltres is too good not to play. There's, like, so many different adaptations for it. You can take. Take two free prizes on Ogremon whenever you want. You obviously kill badoo and you kill applin. Like, these are, like, relevant things that you can kind of do when you're setting up, too. Like, there are a lot of turns where you're like, I don't want hpan anymore. I'd love to just kind of get into the prize race. And it's really nice to be able to do that while you're setting up your dragon vaults. So I do think there's merit to this version. I don't, like. I'm still, like, kind of iffy on the crushing hammers. Like, I understand how important it is for. For mirror and some of your worst matchups. It's just like. I don't know. I don't like the concept of four dead cards in my deck, but maybe that's just, like, a hurdle I gotta get over. Yeah, no, fair enough. One other thing, actually. And a lot of Japanese players did this. They played two bedoo instead of playing one. I mean, we saw at the start of the format, everyone playing two. Then it seems like everyone went back to one. Now up to two. What do you think about two to do? Is that correct? Should we just be playing one? Not too sure. I think, like, it's. It's. Obviously, it's one of those things where it's situational. It's like, all right, great. My badoo's prize. Good thing I have the second one. But most of the time, I don't. I don't think there's a lot of worlds anymore. Like, I remember when I was playing straight Paul, like, last year, when it first, like, kind of came out, and, like, Vinnie was Doing well with it. I remember there was a lot of games where I would go in with Double Itchy Paw. Like I would have the time to be able to go badoo badoo and not lose the game. I don't think we have that luxury anymore with like how much Monkey Dory's around and like how much of a liability like going down four to six can be at the start of a game. I don't think we really have that anymore. So maybe that ship is kind of sailed and I think that's kind of why people went to one. But I guess two is not a bad thing because you prize one. I don't think you're ever using two, though. Yeah, I mean, well, I think there's some games used too against like aggressive stuff because this list doesn't play candy. So if your video gets knocked out right away when you go first, I agree you don't use two. Sometimes you go second. You two. And I guess like having higher odds to start it is nice. So I don't think it's necessary, but it might be an adaptation. We start seeing, like I said, a lot of the. I think like around half the Japanese players I was looking at in top 32 were playing it. And then second place, we had another dragapult with Gareth here. So his list similar. There's a second Watchtower and only one video. Also the Hammers, there's the Moltres in here as well. And then there's a fourth Fire Energy. So I mean, very similar idea. So it just seems like this is probably the best deck. They end up facing off in the finals. It was streamed. I didn't watch the stream, but I'm sure it was riveting. Yes. Then we had American player here. Sean got top four with Port Noir with a double Watchtower. So I think that's an adaptation we're gonna see a lot. It seems like just everyone Drag post is playing Watchtower now. I think partially in response to the Lawpunny deck and some of the slot box stuff. I mean, Utrecht, I played Double Watchtower anticipating some of that stuff as well. Otherwise pretty standard dragapult list. There's like a second Dusklops in place of the third candy. Double Bedew in this one as well, actually. Interesting, isn't it? Yeah. So we got that fourth place we have also Shun. Oh, both shun. Both Shuns. In top four we have Arboliva. And I mean this list is actually like literally the most straightforward Arbalie deck. No Noctowl, which Is I think a card that really picked up in Arboliva as early in the format, like when people are building the deck out. So deciding to forego that in favor of maybe some more like catch catching nets and like supporters. So I don't have that much to say about this. I mean, maybe Arbolivo has been slept on a bit just because, like, Shaymin has like, kind of like gone down in play a lot. I'm sure though, who do you lose to? Because both the other dragapults he lost to Hiromu. So I'm sure the moltres put a lot of work in this matchup. Made it tough because I guess this build. This build specifically, like, you have to attack with ogre pun into drag or pulled. And the moltres just kind of deals with it, right? So, yeah, a lot of these green boxes running around. And I don't think, like, I was thinking about this at dinner. There's not a lot you can do to like play around moltres with these, like, green boxes, like, kind of. It is what it is, right? Like, you got to play your ogre mons, and if you don't, your deck kind of blows. So kind of stuck playing down your ogre mons. And you just gotta hope they don't have boss moltres energy, I guess, a lot of the time. Exactly. Yeah, I agree. All right. Then we had a raging bolt in top eight. I mean, it feels like raging bullet and we'll get the slot box. Like, they just keep like one of them makes top eight. It feels like every single event and then they do. Okay. Actually he lost the ogre pond deck, But I mean, like, it seems like it's doing okay into dragon pull it. So, like, let's see. This is she faced one, two. He only hit four dragonfolds. Actually went three and one. But I mean, like, it's a deck that on paper is like solid into dragapult. So we saw last week, Jericho kind of had like the one raging bolt, like noctowl deck. This one's just more of a pure raging bolt. There's no knock towel. I mean, doing big numbers is good. This deck is decent into law putty depending on their build. They're also playing moltres though, so that's close. But I actually don't know if it is anymore because the moltres helps it a lot, right? I don't know. I play this, like, I play this matchup like a ton recently. And like, it almost comes down to if your low pony opponent gets the first hit on your Kangaskhan with a fan rotom. It's. It's not fun. Definitely not fun as a Raging Bull player. And like if they play spiky energy, it's also a little weird. But yeah, I'm definitely. I. I'm in agreement with what you're saying to an extent. And I think it's like kind of a coin flip too. Like whoever goes first has a huge advantage. Yeah. So yeah, no, definitely. But it's definitely a little bit more complex than people think. It's not just like boom, boom, boom. It's like there's. There's a couple layers to it, I think. Yeah. Depends what the other. I think it depends on the list and like. Yeah, like the order you prize map or who gets the first prize. For sure. And then we had Sota here in top eight. Only three Crushing hammer and then double Risky Ruin. So different from what we're seeing. And then respect. He just kept it a Dunspur. So that's what he used that space for. And heat that in there. So more focused on consistency. And I guess the monkey dory also moltres though. So all three pulled hammers and cut with the moltres. He just wanted his own limitless page. No sharing with anyone else who played three characters instead of four. I respect that. It's a hustle. This was probably the most unique deck in top eight from Taisei. Like the slot box. There's Monkey Dory and Rocket's Mimikyu and Baby Petra in here. I like it. So I guess really, really over indexing on beating Dragapult. You know you have the monkey and the Mimikyu so that you can do the phantom dive combo back on them. There's the Petch. So I mean like patch hits good numbers. Like anything that has 190 to 240. They get knocked out, come back into your turn. So I like having that package there and then like you know, just having all the classic slot box stuff. The simian very kanga. So I guess what do you think about the monkey and Mimikyu package? Is this overkill? Is this needed? Is this useful against things that aren't Dragon Pulse? I saw a list and I think I like the other list better. There's a list with evil tall patch. Okay. That essentially did the same thing with your monkeys. It was pretty sweet. Like the way that one worked was sick. This one if it. I think this one's a little bit more cute. But if it gets pulled off, it's absolutely like lethal. Right. If you get that phantom dive off. You're living pretty good. The other one was a little bit better at retreat locking, I think, and kind of creating those game states. Obviously your numbers aren't as good with Evil Tall as they are with Pecan. You kind of got to keep them there for a little bit longer. But, yeah, no, it's definitely interesting. And this is like another deck that, like, in the last couple days I saw this and I was like, maybe this is something I should be trying too. Like, it seems pretty cool and you have answers to basically everything. It just seems like this might be one of those decks. And what kind of shied me away from it is it might be one of those decks where you need a lot of reps to really understand what's going on with it, to know the patterns or what to go for when. Yeah. And you know the ironic thing, we have all this dragapult hate in the deck, and then he ended up losing Dragonflies and Tough Age. Yeah, it's crazy. It doesn't matter. It don't matter, man. Yeah. And then the last deck in top eight from Silas, we had the Pullblaze. Again, nothing too crazy. This is psyduck in here, which I don't think is that standard. This taking us to Shaman Slot. Otherwise just pretty much what we're used to. Actually, no. There was a baby blade skin, which actually, I don't think is that standard. I'm not a huge fan of Bladey Blaze. Again, I feel like it's kind of hard to set up, especially if only two Torchic. Yeah. But it's like a cool card if you pull it off for sure. And there's not that much shame in the meta, nor do I think your opponent would expect you to be playing this, so. Yeah, exactly. That's. That's half of it. And there's Double Watchtower on this list as well, so. Really going on the colorless hate. So that's top eight. A boring finish, but there were some interesting decks in there. I know. Let's take a look at the 9th place deck. This is probably the most interesting deck we're gonna look at. We have Slow King. Oh, yeah, look at this. Look at that. Some cool cards in here. We have the Cofagrigus. Actually, no. Do you know what this attack is called? No, I don't, actually. It is called Extended Damagrigus. Oh, very nice. I like that. Actually, they. They, like, really shied away from, like, the edgy attack names recently. We used to have some good ones. What's your Favorite attack name. Oh, that's tough. There's so many good ones. Yeah, I need time to think about this. I know. Me too. Off top of my head, I can't actually think of one that I love. Yeah. Come back to me. I'm sure there's so many where I'm like, oh, I love this. Because, like, Pecan is supposed to be like, super irritable and like, it always gets like super vex. So, like Monkey Dory and the. The Merc Trio. And his attack is literally called Irritated Outburst. And I. I had some appreciation for that. He's like, I guess Pecan's like the ringleader and like, the other guys are his utes and like, he's just not. He gets irritated and just lashes out. I respect that. It's a good attack name. I like that one. Attack name 60 times. You want a prize card? Your opponent's taken. Okay. One of them I used to love was Righteous Edge. It's Caballian's Attack. Oh, that's a good one. And then had Steel Bullet. I think those are two. Two cool attack names. Yeah. I mean, shift gear, Clink, Clang. Obviously it's a respect that. Ditto. Vmax had an attack called Max Transform, which I thought was hilarious. Oh, you know what's a good one? Greedent. Max, give me. Give me. Oh, Max, Give me. Give me. Yeah, it's a classic. Like the. The Max before anything, I think is incredible because it just makes things sound worse. Yeah. I'm sure if I like picked up this stack of cards on my desk and just like, look through them, I'd find some, like, interesting stuff, but there's just so many. Yeah. It had Omega Barrage. And it was just like one of his attack was this. Discard the top card of their deck. And the other card is put a card from your discard into the. Oh, this is really good. Yeah, it was really, really. It was one of the better cards, this one. Oh, I remember this card, actually. Yeah, it was really good. Yeah. If I've told the story on shift, I probably have at some point. But, like, Worlds 2016, I was playing Vesper Vileplume and I played this card. And, like, I was playing against one of Jesper's older brothers. I can't remember which one it was. And, like, he was playing Waterbox and he was like, we were. He, like, Boston like, trapped my Vileplume. And the Vile Plum is ignited. Play trainers. And we're just draw, passing back and forth. And he had one more card in his deck than me. Or he had two more, I think. Right. So then I think he thinks he was gonna win. And I'm just sitting there being like, okay, I'm just, like, Just, like, stoic. Okay, I'm gonna lose. And then we just go draw faster. Draw fast, like 20 turns. Then I get. I draw my last card. My deck's at zero. But he's at two now. And I just go az. Which is like, Turo. And I put up Bunalby and I go, Burrow twice. And then I had zero cards, but he had zero cards, and he had to draw for his turn on the next one. So I won't stick Oz. For real. Exactly. But I mean, obviously it's doing well. I mean, I think Kira is just good. Like, no one's playing shaven. Like, if you high roll a Kirum, turn two, like, a lot of Dex just cannot respond. Like, Dragonfall if you just cure them. Turn two, like. All right, good night. Like, game's over. Yeah, they're not coming back from that. So I'm curious how he did against dragon. Let's see. One, two. Okay. He won his first three, and then he went 021 the last three. So a little bit 50, 50 there, but a natural tie to bump themselves out of cut. But with the Dunsparce, there's no Hariyama in this. I remember seeing this build a little bit initially when the format started. Nice people have come back to it now. It's kind of weird timing though, because, like, now everyone's playing Watchtower, but I guess it's kind of like there's a two wallies in here. So kind of like taking a page out of the lawpunny book, maybe going like cape Wally strategy. You know, the cape give you some more survivability, I guess. Less pulled chickens, less people playing Clefairy and Dragapult. The Genesect in here, I guess is trying to protect against stamp. So I don't know. What do you think about this, Neil? Is this the way to play Lucario is maybe Lucario slept on a bit. Could it come back stuff? Tough question because you. You mentioned like the. The Watchtowers run around too. Right. There's a lot of. A lot of weird things going on. Like Lucario generally struggles with drawing cards. And you're now asking it to find bosses orders as well, which is the car that you used to have on Hariyama. So not too sure about this one. Not my personal cup of tea. I'm sure people will play it. You obviously take an auto into bunnies, which is really, really good. And you're basically Lucario deck with extra steps. So I think Rahul is probably onto something. We've seen how powerful Wally is combined with a lot of hp, so definitely some merit there as well. Not much else to say about it, to be honest. I also really like Genesect right now. That's another card that I've really been high on. One of the texts that I put in my bunny deck to kind of deal with Dragapult is Genesect because you're able to block out stamp and like that one swing turn is no longer a thing. So Genesect is a card that I think is like has been slept on. Like, almost. I almost thought it rotated because I was like. In my mind, I was like, this card seems really, really good right now. Why is no one playing it? But I guess it's there and people are just kind of starting to catch on to, like, blocking, unfair stamp blocking, box blocking, enriching, whatever it is. So.
