So like promised last week I said that we were going to look at the Lost Origin Trainer Gallery so I've got that queued up ironically, is very, very cheap. Oh, wow. It's. It's actually not too bad. I mean, case in point, the first card is not $800 like last week. Oh, yeah. So it's a far cry from that. Although if I had kind of mashed them together, like, figure out what's one, what's two, and blah, blah, blah. Based on this, I think, what, Last week it was 1500, give or take. So you're probably pushing $2000. If you had mixed the two together to figure out, like, which one's actually number one, what's actually number two, and. And go down the rank that way, you're probably pushing very close to $2,000 for the official top 10. When you look at Lost Origin and Lost Origin Trainer Gallery as a whole. So not a cheap set, apparently. Yeah. But number one, you're going to see a very noticeable way of this. You only have a couple Pokemon. The number one is Pikachu V. Number 16 in the set goes for a whopping $125.77, which I believe would have put it at number two, because I think number two from last week was around the 120. No, it was like 190 something. So it would have been like number three, because I think number two, number three in the official one or the standard set was like 125 or something goofy like that. Number two, though, is Pikachu VMAX. The next one in the set was. It puts it at number 17. Okay. It's $103.89. So right off the bat, you got 16 and 17, the V and the V maxes. And then this one was interesting because I didn't think it was an expensive card. And I guess it's. I mean, well, this is in us, so it's. It's up there. Number three is Gengar. Number six is $59.96. That's the one where it's like the controversial artwork where people are like, oh, the guy is blowing on a bong, and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. It's like you're a freaking. If you think he's blowing into a. Or sucking on a bong or whatever. Yeah, he's blowing through a piece of bamboo to add air straight into the fire. Yeah, like, you use your freaking heads, you dope idiots. My God. I mean, that's funny. I haven't even heard that. Oh, really? Oh, dear. It was all over the place. Like, I. I picked up that card a couple years ago, I think, from Comic Con here in town just because I thought I had it. And then apparently I didn't have it for my master set for, like, the Gengars. And even the guy's selling, he's like, oh, I. I know why you're. You're buying that. Like, oh, I. I doubt it. But okay, like, why am I buying this card? He's like, oh, because, you know, the guy's, you know, looks controversial. Like, I don't care about that. Like, I'm buying it because I need it for my Gengar set. Like, yes, that's the only reason why I'm buying it. And I think back then I paid like $10 for it. So. Yeah, I remember when it was that cheap at that. It was very cheap. I still thought it was cheap even now, but apparently it's. It's creeping up there. Number four, though, is Pikachu. Number five in the set. It's also $59 but 13 cents. So just a little bit below Gengar number five is Charizard. Number three in the set. It's $34.56. So it takes a nice little drop from the number four spot. Number six is Mew Vmax, the secret rare. Number 30. It is $33.36. Now, number seven and number eight are the exact same price, ironically. Yeah, number seven is Pikachu Vmax, the secret rare. Number 29 for $25.20. And for the exact same price, you can get Snorlax number 10 at the number 8 spot. So technically, I mean, you could swap 7 and 8 between each other, but yeah, Pikachu V Max Secret Rare and Snorlax, just a regular. Number 10 are the exact same price. Number 9 is Eterneus Vmax, number 22 in a set for $11.24. And finally, for about 8 cents less at number 10 is Nessa number 27 for $11.16. Okay. For a grand total of $489.47, which isn't too bad. Yeah, it's not that bad. I mean, yeah, V and V Max Peak 2 at the top there. You know, you're pushing over a hundred dollars. Everything else is like less than 60 bucks. I mean, well, the first two are just shy of 60, and then everything else is like 30s and then right into the 20s and 11s. Yeah, so it's not too bad once you get the Pikachu's out of the way. Theoretically. Okay, well, I alluded to this last week at the end of the episode. So today we're Going to look at why a man is suing Nintendo after his Pokemon professor application was denied. Oh my gosh. This 34 year old, so a year younger than me, is, is seeking $341,000 in damages from Pokemon and Nintendo as a combined. He's not just suing Pokemon, he's suing Nintendo as well. Because apparently Nintendo has to do with it. Good luck. Yeah, right. So this manchild, I'm going to describe him as a man child. He. You know what? Yeah, I'm gonna, I'm gonna kind of read this almost as par. So Mr. Kyle Lee Owens from Iowa found out the hard way that apparently your past does come catching up to you at some point in your life. You see, he submitted to become a Pokemon professor. Nothing wrong with that. Hell, I mean, I thought about becoming a Pokemon professor, not just because, you know, I want to host events at a store or whatever, but hey, I can go to a tournament and be. And work there or do whatever, you know, it's a nice little title to have. Right? So he applied to be a professor, passed the test, apparently with 100% aced it. Got onto the onboarding. They asked him, hey, so while we do this, we need you to submit to a background test or a background check. He's like, yeah, sure, yeah, no problem. So he submits that and then all of a sudden, oh, you're denied. He's like, well, what the hell? Why am I denied? So, you know, like I said, he passed the initial test with flying colors. But then the Pokemon company learned that Owens had a low level Illinois felony that was more than 10 years old, by the way, and a pending arrest warrant in another state for failing to appear in court on misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct for engaging in fighting. Also process processing, repairing or selling an offensive weapon. Oh my gosh. As well as criminal mischief through damage to property. Dear Lord. Dude, that is substantial. Yes, they're all misdemeanors, but dear Lord, that is like a miniature paragraph of charges that you got there. Yeah, so Pokemon company revoked his program based on the misdemeanors themselves. Not even the felony charge, just the misdemeanors. So, I mean, they were kind of nice in that sense. Now, in the lawsuit, which is aimed at both the Pokemon company and publisher Nintendo, Owens alleges that he is losing out on quote, unquote, economic benefits that come with hosting an event, among other things. The suit states that Owens no longer has commercial advantages, quote, unquote, such as, quote, unquote, product sales wow. You lost out on being a professor, and somehow that has prevented you from product sales and commercial advantages. How? Wow. How did you lose product sales for not becoming a professor? Seriously, Please explain that to the group Makes. Yeah. So Owens again is seeking $341. 3. Sorry, $341,000 in damages. To be instituted and also to be instituted as a professor. The Pokemon company's code of conduct states, quote, that professors are held to an even higher standard than average players, and failure to meet those standards can result in removal from the program without a chance to reapply. The terms also state that the, quote, unquote, unauthorized buying or selling of items is against the rules as well. The lengthy rule book does, however, note that some disciplinary actions are given a appeals process. However, Owens argues that he was not given a chance to make his case. Olson also believes that the Pokemon company's decision was unfair, as the failure to appear mentioned in the background checks refers to an event that happened a decade ago. He says he was not convicted and that the incident has no bearing on his ability to be a good Pokemon professor. The filing also accuses the Pokemon company of creating a monopoly over organized play of its own game. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. They are the Pokemon company. Yeah. They own Pokemon. It's right there in the fricking name. They can do what they want. Yeah. You're not going to see fucking Hasbro turn around, be like, hey, we want. We want part of that pie. Yeah. I mean, they mind you, they did back in the day, like, late 90s, early 2000s. Pokemon Co. Did team up with that with companies like Tommy and Hasbro, I think. I believe so, Yeah. I mean, they play. They played. They made the Pokemon Monopoly game. So that is. Yeah, Yep. So, yeah, they have teamed up and had collabs, but that's more of like, here's a big pie. We're going to split that pie. And down the center, Monopoly, you get a shit ton of money because you know it's Monopoly. Or Hasbro gets a shit ton of money because it's Monopoly, and Pokemon gets a shit ton of money because it's Pokemon. Yeah. So it's a win. Win. Yeah. When you stick Pokemon and Monopoly together, Hasbro and Pokemon win. So the plaintiff, or it's also quoted in the lawsuit or in the documents that the plaintiff suffered injury, including loss certification, lost business opportunity, lost customer traffic, lost goodwill, and subsequently damages. What damages? Yeah. Oh, Pokemon company hurt your heart? That's it? They broke your heart? Well, you know what, man? Pokemon breaks my heart. Too, sometimes, you know, you ever think that maybe when I open up a pack, back when I. Back when I opened up packs and I see that card that has, you know, beautiful, hollow artwork and it's peeled back because, you know, somebody fell asleep at the desk on qa. Yeah. You think I sit there and go, ah, that's a sexy card. No, I go, ah, that's a nice card. But it's literally peeled. Yeah. Oh, well, yeah, I'm not gonna do anything about it. Yeah. It's quality assurance. What am I gonna do? Go down to the US and be like, hey, Pokemon company, do better. They're gonna laugh at me and tell you to get lost. Seriously, they don't care. Now, the only difference is, you know, Pokemon Japan seems to care a little bit more. Or maybe they're just more strict. You know, maybe if you fall asleep in QA and in North America, they might give you a slap on the wrist. They might write you up. Maybe in Japan, you. You fall asleep on the. On the production line and screw up some cards, maybe you get fired. Yeah. Who knows? And Japanese people take their jobs far more seriously than anybody in. In the Western world. Like, I've heard stories of, like, you get fired from your job, you might as well become homeless because nobody else is going to hire you because it just, you know, word travels fast no matter where you are. Yeah. Whereas here, I mean, I've. I've got coworkers who, their resume is longer than a novel. Like, you know, they bounce from job to job, like, every couple months. Who gives a crap? Right? As long as you can find a job. But, yeah, good luck, man. Honestly, good luck. I did read this story, like, so this story was actually through a news article originally. When I saw it last week, it was on a Facebook post. Um, it did state somewhere in the comments, I, I believe it was the comments where it was assumed that the guy had previously or had scored a hundred percent on the test. But then it was later revealed in this, like, summary from wherever that when Pokemon company did a deeper dive, they actually found out that he scored an 80%, not 100, and they were using one of those or using that score as also a way of disqualifying them, which reading in the comments, someone mentioned, while 80% is actually still a pass, you can get 80% on the professor test and still pass. I don't know how credible that is. Maybe it is 80%. Maybe it's 85. I mean, I know some places, like, you have to get an 85 or a 90 to pass. That's crazy. Yeah. I mean, back in the day when I did my food handler's certificate, I had to score a 90 in order to pass. Wow. Yeah. And because, I mean, you're dealing with food, right? Yeah. So, yeah, if you didn't score a 90, you didn't get your food handler certificate and you weren't certified wherever the hell you were. At the time, I was, I was registered in Waterloo region. However, when I moved to my current town in Simcoe county, that certification went out the door. So, yes, I had my certification and I was certified, but I was not certified in Simcoe County. I was certified in Waterloo region. So I had my certificate for a whopping three months in Waterloo region before I moved up to my current town. Wow. Paid $200 back then through my school to get my certification. And it was also, you had to pass that certification in order to pass your exam for the course that we took as well. So it was like a double whammy. If you didn't pass a certification, you failed your certification, but you also failed the exam for your class. That's. So I paid 200 bucks, got my, my certification, moved up to this town three months later, went to go apply to be a head chef at a restaurant. And they said, cool. Like, yeah, you're hired. You just need to get your food handler certificate. And I was like, well, yeah, it's right here, man. He's like, no, yeah, that's. That's great if you want to work in Waterloo region, but if you want to work in Simcoe county, you need one for Simcoe county. So spent $200 and then three months later spent another 200 to get one for. So. But now I can work in any restaurant in Simcoe county or Waterloo region because I keep that one updated. And yeah, I'm fully certified even though I haven't been a chef or a cook really in 12 years. Wow. But I still keep it updated just because. Yeah. But up next we are going to look at the top 10 or. Wow. The 10 most underrated Pokemon cards in the 2026 TCG. So this is going to be interesting. Yeah. Because you know what? We all have our version of what's underrated, right? Yeah. Who are you to really decide? So there are plenty of modern cars that are highly sought after because of their stunning artwork and eye popping value. Like the evolving skies famous Moonbrian. Now any or really any of the Evolutions, sirs from Prismatic Evolutions. So for every card worth hundreds or even thousands of Dollars. There are dozens of great cards that fly quite underneath the radar. And this is. This list will discuss 10 underrated cards that will enhance any of the collectors collections. Number one or ten, I guess is Plasmos, Phantasmos Flames. Sorry, Piplup. It is number 98 of 94. So it's the sir. Four cards that feature the Pokemon tend to gain a lot of value. Especially starters from the Pokemon's first generations like Charmander, Bulbasaur and Squirtle. Piplup, however, is admittedly not as popular as these beloved starters. But the illustration rare definitely stands out. Not only does it feature gorgeous artwork, it also comes from a booster set that has been steadily growing in population. Piplup will sadly probably never be as popular as say, Squirtle. But on the current market, this card actually feels extremely undervalued. Players can pick up this illustration rare for less than $15. And it feels like a strong investment because it's a good chance that the value will increase over time. Yeah. Even if it doesn't. Though this is arguably one of the best Pip up cards ever printed. It is. And it's kind of nice. You know, he's just kind of sitting underneath a little rock shelf, I guess. Nice snowy mountain. But yeah. The market value is 1523. 90 day low was 826 and the daily low currently is 1629. I gotta pick up a couple of those. Yeah. Number two is Team Rockets Houndoom. Number 191 out of 182 from Destined Rivals. So Team Rockets Hound Doom. Which came from the Destined Rival booster pack. And it's kind of a surprising this card isn't more sought after. You see dust. Destined Rivals is an entire expansion dedicated to Team Rocket, the fan favorite crime syndicate that dates all the way back to the original games. Team Rocket Sound Doom is an incredible card designed by artist Naga. Oh boy. Nagi Missile. And it features a fierce Houndoom leaping over its trainer with flames licking from its mouth. Currently this card is going for about $13. Considering the detailed artwork in the way that the artist committed to making this Pokemon look truly terrifying, it's shocking that it's not a more valuable card to come out of the Destined Rival set. Few illustration rares from this set can actually stand toe to toe with Rockets Houndow or Hound Doom. Sorry. And it is currently sitting at $13.90 for the market. $13 is the daily low and 620 is the 90 day low. Next is 151's needle king. It makes A tough Pokemon look actually pretty soft. This is 174 out of 165. The market value is 2125 with a daily low of 9.99 and it's the same for the 90 day low. So it's actually relatively low if you can get below market. Technically, yeah. So of course, you know, 151has gained a crap ton of popularity for focusing exclusively on the original Pokemon gen, which is arguably the most popular gem. Most of the chase cars from 150R151 are incredibly valuable, with their values only increasing over time. The Nidoking illustration rare though, has flown under the radar, likely due to the lack of hype around the Pokemon itself and Needle Queen. They're the first gen staples, but there's. But they're nobody's favorite Pokemon. No. Arguably. I mean, I do like Nidoking, but it's. Yeah, it is kind of lackluster. No one doesn't really seem to care about it. No, I mean there are better poison types in Gen1. Now, the artist designed this card to give a usually tough and imposing Pokemon a gentle glow. Nidoking is surrounded by beautiful foliage in soft shades of pastel green. Collectors can pick this card up for around $15 right now, but considering how popular 151 is, getting your hands on any illustration rare from the set when the prices are good is a decent investment. This card's worth will likely only increase over time though. Next is Giovanni's Charisma, which features Team Rocks Terrifying leader. Market value is 20. $20.12, daily low is 14 and a 90 day low is $10.75. Treiovani's Charisma is another card from 151 and it's a trainer card that depicts Rocket's leader. He is sitting with this famous Persian. Giovanni is associated with a few Pokemon like Mewtwo. Best person is perhaps the most iconic companion. Yeah. Now, Pokemon fans are always looking out for Team Rockets collectibles, so it's shocking to see that this 151 special sir is being sold for around $15 considering it comes from such a valuable set. It's a Sir and it delivers an adorable image of Giovanni's Persian from the art from a artist. It should realistically be worth a lot more. However, right now this card is definitely a steal. Next, this is. Wow. This is an old one. Shuttle Rider Calyrex V from Chilling Rain. Wow. The alt art. So this card right now the market value is 22.72. It has a $20.25 daily low and a $19.25 90 day low. That's such a weird Pokemon too. Yeah, I've never really cared about the Calyrexes. Yeah, really. Ever. I don't even think I picked up a Calyrex like in the game. I just didn't give a about it. I didn't either. Yeah. Now this set came out in June of 2021. Dear Lord, that was a long time ago, it feels like. Yeah, it's rarely talked about, but it does contain a few worthy cards. Shadow Rider Calyrex V is definitely one of the best cards in the entire set and is currently selling for around $21, putting at a price point that's slightly higher than many of the other cards on this list. That said, though, it is an alternate rare alt art. Wait, what? Ultra Rare alternate full art. Which is extremely difficult to pull. Yeah, especially when you're trying to find a ultra rare alternate art. Wow. All right, so getting one for around $20 is a great steal. The artist designed this card to have an eerie and almost ethereal vibe. The Shallow Rider is surrounded by a haunted forest that many Pokemon cards just can't capture. This is the type of card that reminds players that the franchise does have some dark undertones and secrets. It's just a shame that this card came from such a undesirable expansion. Next is Scorbunny, the 225 of 217 from Ascended Heroes. It has a market value of 1188 daily low of 1050 and a 90 day low of $7.84. This score bunny illustration here is one of the newest cards on the list. Comes out from the Mega Evolutions. Ascended Heroes came out earlier this year and like the piplup mentioned earlier, this card features a starter at an incredible price. Currently this card is going for around $12, but since it's a full art starter from a relatively new set, it will likely increase over time. Now, who decided this artist decided to depict the adorable Bunny Pokemon joyfully flopping into a pile of leaves. Sadly, since Square Bunny is a starter from Gen8, it will never retain the value of starters from the first few gens. But this is still an incredible price for a beautiful illustration. Rare. Next is Cynthia's Rule 1. To be honest, yeah, it's. I mean it doesn't look bad, just kind of, you know, again, like one of those ones that just kind of flew under the radar. Next though is another card from Dustin Rivals. It is Cynthia's Rosarade number 184 out of 182 daily. Daily low is 1248. 90 day low is 860 and it has a market value of 1403. One of Dustin Rival's biggest chase cards is Cynthia's Garomp Exsar, which sells for hundreds of dollars. Considering how popular Cynthia's Garchomp is, collectors would expect that the Roserade would be more valuable. The artist Rika did a phenomenal job creating a portrait of Cynthia with one of her most majestic Pokemon. And since she is such a popular trainer, picking up this card might be a great alternative to the pricier Garchomp card. Yeah, probably. Well, yeah, I mean it's a fraction of the price. Next though is Vulpix from mega evolutions. Number 138 of 132. This is the one where it's kind of sitting in front of a fireplace. Yep. The 90 day low is $7.75. Daily low is 15 and market price is 1504. This is one of the newest Vulpix cards on the market and it's absolutely breathtaking. The artist decided to show Vulpix in a more mundane setting where it stands in front of a wood burning stove inside of a cozy kitchen. This artwork speaks for itself and it's definitely one to pick up now while it's still affordable. Next is Crown Scenes Lucario V star promo promo number 291. The 90 day low is $1.45. Wow. The daily low though is 12.99 and the market price is 1273. Currently, the Lucario V Star sells for around $10, making it one of the most adorable or, sorry, most affordable cards on the list. The artwork is breathtaking. Breathtaking. Sorry. Yes. But it is also extremely powerful card for collectors who actually play the game. This underrated card is invaluable in any deck considering. Yeah. I mean, even the V Star power. Well, it. I should reference saying that it was a powerful card use because you can only use V Stars, so it was a good card. I mean, the artwork is still very nice. We did actually speak about this card in our last episode with the most iconic Lucario cards. Yes. But finally, the last card is the Evex sir from the Super Premium collection promo. Okay. The 90 day low is 2261. Daily low is $26 even, and market price is 29.65. Prismatic Evolutions is one of the most highly sought after booster expansions ever created back when it dropped in early 2025. This specific Eevee Exsir promo currently sells for around $23, which is mind bogglingly low in comparison to every other sir to come out of Prismatic Evolutions. Yeah. This card is genuinely beautiful. It emulates the majestic air of the rest of the booster pack. So this is a great way to add some Prismatic Evolution flair to your collection without breaking the bank. Yeah, yeah. I mean it's. It's very, very bright and colorfully, but also has like a lot of white to it. So it kind of like counteracts each other in a sense. Yeah, it's kind of nice. It is a nice card. Yeah. And finally, our most iconic Pokemon cards of the TCG history. Today we are looking at Umbreon. Can you guess what the last card is going to be? Oh gosh. I wonder. Right? I wonder. Right? So the first Umbreon card ever. Well, it came from Neo Discovery. Jeez. It's a market price of $1,500. Wow. However, the market price is 15. The unlimited Holo currently right now is at 486. And the first edition Holo is at 610 63. So where are they getting its market value of $1,500? So Umbreon is the Moonlight Pokemon. It first appeared in the 2020. Or sorry, 2021. 2001's Neo Discovery Booster expansion initially appeared with two different cards alongside the first two printings of its counterpart Espeon. The second card was. I can't even read that. 32, I think. And 13. So again, you have the Neo Discovery umbreon. For the second one. This market value though, is $48. The first edition goes for 48, and ironically, unlimited goes for 67. Wow. Yeah. How does unlimited go for more than first edition? First edition? Yeah, it's weird. That's extremely weird. Yeah. So umbreon 13 was the original Moonbrian card. It features Umbreon standing watch in front of the full moon. That makes the moonlight Pokemon visible through what feels like a silhouette. Now, neither Umbreon card was particularly good or playable during the Neo format. At that time, Dark Energy was only available through special Energy cards, which meant that you could only have four Darkness Energy in your deck. Oh, that sucks. Wow. This made most of the Dark type Pokemon on playable useless, and they had a really low energy cost for their attacks. It wasn't until Gen 3 that we started to see Umbreon cards that were slightly more playable than the two versions from Neo. Discovery, which are. The to do list doesn't stop. Cards like Umbreon H30 from Skyridge and Umbreon EX112 from On Scene Forces continued the tradition of having Umbreon pose in front of the moon. These dark twilight scenes were perfect for showing off the foil patterns that could catch the light and contrast sharply with the rest of the artwork. Yeah, because back then they had more of the. What's the word? Galaxy Hollow. In a sense, yeah. Ish. But then we move on to Umbreon Star was part of the series of Pokemon cards that featured shiny Pokemon on them. And this one in particular was from Pop Series 5. Similar to how rare Shiny Pokemon are in the video games. You can only have one Pokemon Star in your deck at a time. This mechanic is similar to the modern Radiant Pokemon rule. Because Umbreon Star was a organized play promo only available in packs given out as prize support at official events, very few were ever printed, and fewer are still in mint condition today. Graded copies, even with a low near mint grade of eight, frequently sell for over $10,000. Now, at the time of writing, there's not a single copy on TCGplayer, though you can still pick one up. The reprint of this card from Celebrations Classic Collection. Which is ironic because the normal market price is $72 and $0.01. Wow. Yeah. But because they're so lacking in printing. Yeah, even a a near mint 8 can sell for about 10 grand. That's crazy. Now we move on to modern umbreon grail cards. Two cards from the 2020s are so valuable, they come to represent the entire modern era of Pokemon collecting. Base set Charizard aside, they might be the most popular cards ever printed in English. But before we get to them, I have to call out one honorable mention. The Altar Umbreon V from Evolving Skies is a rather slept on card. In my opinion. It since has overshadowed by its Vmax counterpart. I love the artwork though of Umbreon giving all the other Pokemon in the alley that kind of mean look. Yeah, it's really cool. Sadly though, as cool as the card artwork is, it isn't the most expensive Umbreon card around. And yeah, you know, market market price is sitting at 358.38. But honestly, I'd rather have that artwork of the movie. Yeah. Than the moon beyond. Yep. The second last card is Umbreon V Max from Evolving Skies, the Moonbrian. Now instead, the title for the best artwork or alternate artwork goes to the Umbreon V Maximum. Evolving Skies, also known as the Moonbriand. This card has a stunning illustration. It shows a Dynamax Umbreon reaching for the moon that it's always behind in its artwork. This card was even playable while Evolving Skies was in the standard format because it had a really cool, powerful effect. Similar to Umbreon EX that we mentioned earlier. Moonbron is one of the craziest Pokemon cards around right now because of how much the price has skyrocketed. When the card was first released, it was around $200. In early 2024, it was around 600. Now it's more than double that. Currently the market value is sitting at $1,944. 28 cents. Crazy. And ironically, even now, like, looking at this, I forgot that this was a Dynamax. I mean, well, obviously Ambian Vmax. So, like, Dynamax. I don't know how I looked at this artwork and thought, oh, okay. For some reason, I didn't click in that. That was a Dynamaxed Umbreon. Me neither. I'm not gonna lie. Me neither. Even though it's a. It's an Umbreon Vmax. Vmax means that it is Dynamax. Yeah, I. I never do either, though, to be honest. Yeah. I mean, looking back at that now, I was like, oh, my God. Was I seriously that stupid? Well, you're not alone, because, honestly, I. I. Yeah, right. Same thing. And finally, the final Umbreon card that we're going to look at now is the newest one on the block, a card that is giving Moonbrian a run for its money. The Altar Umbreon EX from prismatic evolutions, aka SunBrion. Which it shouldn't be a sun, because it's a moon. Yeah. This is the biggest chase card of Prismatic Evolutions, and one of the many reasons that the set has been going since 2025. It is often that you look at a Pokemon card that is over a thousand dollars immediately on release. The massive price tag on this card, along with the potential for opening a God Pack from Prismatic Evolutions, make it kind of obvious why the set has always been hard to find. Umbreon is one of the most popular Pokemon right now, and for good reason. It has an awesome design. It has even brought a ton of new collectors into the guard game and Scalpers. Hopefully, it and other amazing Evolutions will continue to do so for years to come. And this one has a market value of $1568.88. So it is definitely catching up with the Moon Brion, in a sense. But now we're going to look at Team Rocket. Well, the return of Team Rocket for our next card to go into our binders. Yeah. Now, the reason why I picked this card, which is a very nice set, though, has the gold stars. Yeah, it has gold starts. It is a bit pricey, even just for standard cards. But the card that I picked, I didn't pick it because of what it does. It's a pretty standard card. I didn't pick it because of the artwork. I picked it because we have yet to obtain this item, and I want this damn item. And that is Rocket's Pokeball. You see, you search a deck for a Pokemon with the name Dark in It. Show it to your opponent and put it into your hand and then shuffle your deck afterwards. Pretty straightforward. It's basically, you know, just like any other freaking trainer card. Find a card, pull it, show it, shuffle your deck. Simple. The reason why I like this card is because I want that damn Rocket Pokeball in my inventory. You know, I want to throw. I want to throw a Rocket Pokeball at a Pokemon in a non modded game. Can we just get that, please? Can we like, you know, make it almost like the premier balls? Who gives a about premier Balls, you know? Hell, even in like the old games where you went free. What was that building? The Sith building. Yeah. Yep. Where Team Rocket kind of took over it. Yeah. Why the hell can we find a Team Rocket Pokeball there as like a. Oh, the. The grunt dropped a Pokeball when he ran. Yeah. Just give us one. Just one. I mean, it can be a standard Pokeball, like to have to have the same catch rate as a standard Pokeball. Just give us one. Yeah. I mean, like, I would trade a damn master ball for a Rockets Pokeball. Yeah. Just to see how it is. I just want the damn Rockets Pokeball and that's it. That's. That is why I picked that card. Simply because I just want that damn Pokeball. That's awesome. In a non modded game. That's pretty cool. But what did you pick for Team Rocket? So I chose the Dark R book, mainly because our book's one of the. One of the. What's the word I'm looking for? Nostalgia Pokemon. Of how, like Jesse has our book. And I also like how it's a dark and grass type. That's weird. I found that really cool. And it would go along well with the. The Rockets Pokeball. Yeah. But yeah, I think. And the moves too are interesting because one's just grass and it's literally. It takes 10 plus it's swallow up before doing damage. And the names are weird too. Count the remaining HP of the defending Pokemon and Dark Arbok. If the defending Pokemon has fewer remaining HP than Dark Arbok's, then this attack does 10 damage plus 30 more. So that's interesting. Yeah. And then the other move, the extra poison, is two color colorless takes away 30. If the defending Pokemon is a Pokemon Ex, the defending Pokemon is now asleep and poisoned. So two. Okay, so I like that it's. It's different. I haven't seen. Yeah. It's interesting though, that it's like it's grass and dark type. Yeah. That's what I Liked about it, it's weak against psychic, which is ironic because, I mean, you initially look at that and go, oh, it's a grass type, but I can whack it with a fire type. Right? Yeah, but it's also a dark type. But it doesn't have to natural or it doesn't have like the standard typing weakness. No, it doesn't. It's very, very odd. But I, I like how they did that card. But although, like, I don't know, it's kind of weird. Like you can kind of see how they, they sort of, sort of split the card from dark and grass. But like, it almost looks like they attempted to make like one section just dark type and then the other section grass. But it does where you, where you have your, your moves, they've kind of merged the dark and grass together into like this Sims. Reminds me of like swamp water. Yeah, it does, it does. It's kind of a cool one. But like, even the artwork just seems like apocalyptic. Yeah, it's really cool. Even though it's just a desert ground. Which is ironic because like. Yeah, why is Auerbach in the desert or in a dried up riverbed or. Yeah, normally it's in a forest or something. Yeah, yeah, it's interesting. Yeah, I like the sky too. It's pretty. Yeah. Yeah, there's a lot going on there. I feel like that's one card where you can look at that and just pick out different things non stop. Yeah, yeah.
