Yeah, And I was explaining that it's. It's a surprise, but it's also a about time kind of moment. Okay, so I got a little package in the mail today, and this is a card that I've been wanting for 10 plus years, but we finally got one. Ladies and gentlemen, 2009 Bowman Chrome. Mike Trout first Bowman Auto. Yes. Don't be a hater. It's a PSA7. I'm not a big baller, but I'm happy that I got one. Buy the card. Not the great. I know I texted you this. I was buying from the PSA ebay page earlier this week, and I bought an Otani swing for the stars orange from the Fanatics Fest. Exclusive boxes raw. They're doing 500 to $650, I think it is. I bought a PSA7 for less than 300 bucks, I think it was. Yeah, the card, not the grade exactly. And I. I've got a couple of them around here. But the little sharpie pens, I could just, you know, like, they cost two bucks and I can change that to an eight, you know, with this little sharpie pen. Or you just crack it. Yeah, true. And keep it raw. Or even better, you can toss it in and I didn't show you this. Hang on. You can also toss it into a Little Zion, which, by the way, you know, I know we've seen streamers. Talk about like, oh, like the back, you know, the fridge isn't real. I don't know if you've seen that clip. That's real. Those are real cards back there. You could also make a little custom. If nobody's ever seen it, Alex, I feel like you should make a video about it or post it on your socials, because seriously, that is one of the coolest concepts that I've seen. I think HGA did that, like, where they have, like, special. Yeah, HGA was nowhere. I mean, granted, HGA existed in the age before AI was really like a thing. So they. They had in house graphic designers doing things which like, hey, don't get me wrong, I would love to be able to pay a graphic designer to really do stuff. But the. The cost of doing it for individual cards here, I'm not a grading company bringing in revenue for that. This is just cool stuff that just helps elevate it. But, you know, it's a great way to take a PC card that I'm not going to grade and give it a custom little label to help elevate it. Yeah, might as well. But yeah, I'm just super pumped to have this trout. I mean, I'm a big trout guy, and it's well centered and, you know, like I said, I saw a 7, so I got outbid on an 8 the week before, and I was so bummed. But I mean, that's the thing. Sometimes patience WINS. Because a 7 pops up, you get it for cheaper. Like I said, I wanted to buy in that 7 to 8 range because of the price point. But yeah, I mean, buy the card, not the great 100%. And something that I think that you should absolutely buy the card, not the great on is a release that I know you want to talk about Dynasty. What's going on? First, you mentioned Dynasty versus Inception. Tell me first, what's kind of happening? Well, first things first. Trent's an idiot. And, dude, I was fully convinced that today was Topps Inception release day. Was fully convinced. I'm like, it's a Wednesday. Release days are on Wednesdays. Well, in case you remember, with Platinum Anniversary, that came out on a Friday. Well, Inception now comes out this Friday, June 19th. And I could have swore that it was today, the 17th on Wednesday, like normal. But no, today is Dynasty. Release day. And I mean, I think the viewers can put together two and two transpiring PSA 7s over here. I'm not a guy who buys Dynasty boxes. Now I've got a few Dynasty cards because they look awesome. But yeah, I'm not going to be ripping any Dynasty anytime soon. Have you seen. And I'm trying to find it. I think that the presale is down, unfortunately. I was looking on David Adams. Have you seen what 20. Oh, no, I found it. 20. 25 Dynasty. A case of five boxes. Oh, okay. Well, well, first of all, first of all, I think that that's different because I think it used to be a two box case. I think it was five. Oh, was it? Okay, Neither of us have ripped a case of Dynasty. No, no. And it's just the price point because I mean, I think like single boxes are always over a grand. But I mean, if you're telling me a five box case, it's release day. So I'm going to give a little bit of grace here. I'm going to say, I'm going to say it's like six grand double and give it to the next person and then some. Are you kidding me? $14,000 is market on a case of Dynasty. A single box is $2800. Oh my gosh. What's crazy, and that's where I think it's a prime example of buy the single is the Aaron Judge Dynasty that I showed off a week or two ago. That is a. If you hit an Aaron Judge, that is one of the, you know, product hits. Yeah. Other than Otani, it's basically as big as you're gonna pull. That's a 5ish, maybe a little more thousand dollar card. How many boxes of Dynasty are you ripping to pull that you're. There are a lot of cards that you're going to pull out of Dynasty that are going to be worth a lot less than $2800. I mean, I have a six Sodo that I know I've shown off. That's like $1000 card. Yeah. You're telling me that a Soto Ball Relic Auto to five from a multi thousand dollar box doesn't cover half the box price? I mean it's like a third. What are we doing? What are we doing? Like, yeah, it's, it's insane. And that's why like, you know, it drives me nuts. I mean, I've got, I've got a couple Dynasty cards, nothing insane. I've got like a David Ortiz Kershaw, you know, a Few like really good hall of Famers. It won't even cover a fifth of a box. But you know, at the end of the day, as we've said, it's. Can we objectively look at that and say that's crazy. Who the heck is paying that? There are people that are paying it because the market's not going to be there. If the, if that's, you know, I did not, I didn't see any 2 Alpha or whatever today. I didn't try for it. But you know, they are going to. I would, I would bet fairly good money that they did not come out on tops at $2800. That is the market setting a price and that breakers are able to sell it at that price or people are willing to buy it and rip it at that price and the market's going to market. I just think it's, it's the same thing for Transcendent. It's the same thing for Flawless or National Treasures. You look at these boxes and you say how, how does it make sense? But people do it and those are one card boxes too. So I, I hate to put you on the spot and do this. Can you see what a case of Inception is pre selling for? I actually want to make it there. Hang on. Yeah, I want to make an argument for this. I actually made a video about it. One of my favorite cards that they started doing in previous years are the first milestones. First Milestones. Yes. They're awesome. I mean that is Trent's budget debut patch Auto. Yeah. It is a base relic from their debut from their first career hit. And it's a, it's an auto like I mean that's awesome. And those sell for dirt cheap. They are, I think they're, they're criminally undervalued and I mean even there's one of one logo men from the bases. Heck yeah. Let me get one of those. A case of, of Inception, which is way too expensive. I will add still. It's an eight box cases 2550. I mean that's a lot, that's a lot easier way cheaper than Dynasty. But you know, but, but the difference is, is that I think in my challenge is Inception is the same. It's you get your, you know, one maybe two numbered parallels, an insert or like a, you know, a green or whatever that's not numbered. Etc. I remember back in 2022 ripping some inception and saying this is a crazy. It's a high risk, high reward box. It was 130 bucks. Yep. And you pull a Big name and you're going to do great. And I pulled maybe $15 worth of cards out of it the floor. So did I. So did I. But I pulled one of the coolest patch autos that I've ever pulled and I still have it to this day. Gerard Incarnacion, Patch Auto. You probably don't even know who he is. I didn't know who he is. But it's a sweet Marlins patch auto. And it's four, four colors. Like it looks awesome. But, but case in point, it was $130 box 23. Inception. Yeah, it's, it's just. And you know, it's the same thing for Dynasty. No, if you are thinking about ripping it, know that it is a Inception Dynasty, whatever super high risk product. I think the main difference is the reward on Dynasty is way, way higher than the reward on Inception. So I'm going to give you, I'm going to give you a this or that option. Five cases of Inception, $1,000 in your pocket or one case of Dynasty. Which one would you rather rip? I'm gonna be honest. Don't. Don't do it. Don't say it. Dynasty. See, I'm, I'm going Inception personally. See, my problem is Inception is a lot of. Especially the patch autos. Inception is a lot of sticker autos. Yes. Inception is also something that bothers me about Inception, especially being that it's a later release. It used to be early in the calendar year and now it's super late. It's a lot of player worn memorabilia and not game use memorabilia. If I'm gonna go full degen and rip, just send it on Dynasty. So here, here's my argument of getting five cases of Inception. I want to do that and then take that thousand dollars and buy a Soto Dynasty card to five. That looks phenomenal. That would probably crush any other card in the Dynasty case. And, and then, you know, be a degen and rip five cases of a product. I and I, it's a very, very fair perspective. And from a like, fun perspective, you're gonna have so much more fun. Like one of my critiques of the change from museum collection from four mini boxes to a one pack. The amount of time that it's gonna take you to rip through five boxes of Inception or five boxes of Dynasty, you can do that in five minutes or less. Yeah, less. I mean, yeah, Inception, it's gonna take you some time. It's, it's. You're gonna do 40 packs. It's not gonna take you forever. But you It's a little bit, it allows you to enjoy the journey a little bit more whipping those boxes, which, you know, I get again though, I think if you're, if, if I'm gonna go full D gen, just let me send it and pray to get the Otani logo, man. And just. I'm rich. But dude, I mean, to be fair, like any logo, man, any Dynasty, one of one laundry tag, things like that I do own. I think I showed it off on the podcast before. Yes, I'm a degenerate and don't know where it is and no, it's not on the shelf. But I do own a one of one card from Dynasty. It's a Chris Bryant Nike swoosh. Do you know how much I paid for that Rockies, you know. Oh, God, I paid 300 wonder. It's not on the shelf, dude, 300 bucks. But it's a Nike swoosh one of one patch auto. Like, it's just a cool card. Yeah, but it's a rock. Yeah, okay, whatever. That's what I mean. Like, you know, you can still hit a one of one and like it not cover it. It's crazy. But hopefully if any of our listeners are like, you know what, these guys are idiots. They're just, they're brokies, whatever the word is Today, I hope that you hit like a Griffey Nike swoosh. One of one something insane. An Ohtani logo, man. I hope you hit something crazy. If you're wishing nothing but the best. Speaking of on card autographs, I teased this to you and the announcement happened I think a little bit before we came on the stream here. But something very, very cool that I saw scrolling through my Instagram feed, a sports themed TCG Bo Jackson Battle arena just announced their cover athlete and on card autographs that you're going to be able to chase in a release later this year. I think it's like their 2026 update, Patrick Mahomes. Ooh, that's a pretty cool get that. That is actually a huge get. Wow. Like, they. I like very much. So obviously, you know, Bo Jackson signs a lot in it because Bo Jackson, they've, they have a lot of former players that sign and kind of are a part of like, you know, actually like saying like this alter ego because like the way that it works is it's kind of like the tops Chrome alter egos if you think about it. But it is, you know, all these inspired superhero kind of alter egos of your favorite athletes and players. And some of them are active and some of them are retired. But getting, you know, they had the kid last year which was really, really cool to have. Ken Griffey Jr. That auto did like $73,000 on the one. Oh my gosh. But I'm super curious to see. It's just, it's amazing that you get the, arguably the biggest athlete in the biggest sport to come and be your cover athlete sign on card autos. That's, it's, it's going to be a pretty big chase, I would imagine. Yeah. I wonder if they have a specific license with him. You know what I mean? Like to where he can only sign in that. Is that how that works? Well, because I know and I know his deal with Panini is up, I think. But I can't imagine that it's an exclusive thing. But it's maybe that he just didn't sign an exclusive deal. Like I assume that we're going to see Topps autos of his at some point in the future, but whether or not he signs an exclusive deal for his autograph in the future, you know, regardless, we know that you're going to be able to chase those in 2026 update, which is crazy cool. I was, I, I was intrigued to see who it was going to be because obviously they lean into Bo Jackson. They're doing the tech mobile release soon here. I think it's even tomorrow. But to get somebody that big like that's. Yeah, that's awesome. No, that's super cool. Yeah. Yeah. I, I have not ripped any Bo Jackson battle Arena myself but I do plan to do so because if there's an opportunity to pull some Mahomes autos, I'll dance a little bit. I mean what can I say? I got some. Got some non baseball cards on my desk already. Look at you, Trent. I'm expanding. Yeah. Expanding my horizons into things I know nothing about, you know, someone's football. Just the football market. That's my big thing. Like when people talk to me. If you want to talk football or basketball, I can talk. I know ball. I just focus in on the baseball market because you know, I think that it's really hard to know everything about everything. To be fair, you did call Nixon 6. I did. Didn't you? Or did you? It was in five, but yeah, I thought it was going to be. I thought the spurs were going to win at home. But the spurs are generational choke artists. See you never. We were talking last night on stream. I. The dip in Wemby prices is really, really interesting. Yeah. How much of it do you attribute. And I'm curious on your answer because I had a clear answer last night on stream and I will give my opinion in a second. How much of it do you attribute to it being that they lost and how much do you attribute to it being how he acted while they lost? So I, I think that it's a big. I mean, we've talked about this before. Manny Machado. Yep. Awesome player. Good chance he makes it into the hall of Fame. Yeah. Cards aren't worth much. Why? Because people don't like him. Because he's, you know, some people call him a prima donna. All this stuff. I mean, when, when like I literally just made the joke. See, you never. He had how many flagrant. Flagrant fouls? I mean, it's, it's like, dude, you're not, you're not the person that people thought you were. And so it makes it a lot harder for people to want to collect you when some people don't like you as a person or don't like your personality. And it's, you got to remember the kid is 22. Like, there's definitely some. And you can say the same thing for Manny Machado, because I do think that Manny Machado did do some growing up. Since he got to San Diego, he has not been the kid that he was in Baltimore doing some of the, you know, bush league stuff that he did, especially against my Red Sox. But it definitely, I think, hurt and I think that there's a little bit of image repair that he will have to work through. And I, I hope that it's the spurs we back with the talent that they have. I have no doubt about it, with the talent that Wemby is. I hope that they get better from it and I think that they learn from it. But I think I agree with you. I think that more of the drop is people saying, you know, I don't love how he kind of stormed off in some of his post game interviews and how he was acting on the court, being frustrated and kind of some of the things that he did. I get being frustrated. But you got to be better than that, I think. And I hope that he can learn from it and just be better in the future because he is a generational level talent. But you also are able to see here, we talked about it, you know, you know who's really, really, really likable? Shohei Ohtani. Well, because he doesn't like, I mean, I mean, what's the craziest thing you've ever heard him say in an Interview. Shoot, he doesn't even interview a whole lot. I mean, the person who I think of immediately, and I'm curious just because I am in no way a basketball expert, but I know, I've heard all like, you know, I get the clips on social media of Kobe Bryant and how, you know, he wasn't really like a likable guy, but he had the hustle. He put in the hours. He put in the hours, the mob mentality. And he like, when the time came, he did it, you know, he, he performed well every time. It's one of those things where you can have that like, you know, like ticked off attitude. You can have, you know, being mad and all this stuff, but if you can't back it up. If he, if they won the finals there and he acted like that, I feel like it'd be a different story because, you know, then people will associate it with. No, he's just know he's got that dog in him versus. Oh, he's a crybaby. No, he wanted to win the game. Like he wanted to win so badly. But you gotta, you gotta lose with grace. That's the thing. Yes. At the end of the day, I think that's the easiest way to kind of sum it up and wrap it up is I think that when you lose, you know, talk your talk on the court, do your thing. I have, I have no problem with getting chippy, chirping with people, etc. But when you lose and when it doesn't go your way, you just gotta, you know that, that is a reflection on. They like it or not, they were better than you or you just choked. If you look at the leads that they blew every single game, basically, like it's, they, they just, they didn't, they didn't make it happen. That's on you. That's not, you know, don't get frustrated with the refs or with, you know, your teammates or this or that. Yeah. Should the Aaron Fox have just dribbled it out and not tried to go for the layup that got blocked by og? Sure. But you know what? They shouldn't have been in that position, regardless. That's the whole thing. Like you want to talk about when people think about like, oh, when they blame a loss on a kicker in the NFL when he misses the kick at the end of the game. Sure. Should he have hit the kick? Yeah. That's your job. You should do it. Especially if it's a, you know, gimme. But the team perspective is we shouldn't have been in that position, we should not have been in a moment where we were putting the entire game on your back and saying, you got to hit this field goal. We should have been in a position that we were just going to win the game outright 100% now. But, you know, we'll see, yeah. Next year we'll see if the spurs go back. We'll see if the Thunder can do something crazy. Who knows. But I think that we've got a lot of good basketball going forward. Yeah, it's. And it'll be an interesting off season. And yeah, I'm going to be very, very curious to see. We've got the Nashville card show this weekend here in Nashville, which by the way, if anybody that's listening come by, we'll be there. I'm going to be there all day Friday, Saturday, I think Sunday. I'm probably not going to make it. More traffic. We're headed to Iceland for a few weeks on Sunday. So flying out that night, I feel like I can't go to the show. I got to get some rest and do some packing. Going international with a 14 month old is going to be quite the adventure. Godspeed with that. Yes. So we'll see how that goes. But we have a lot of help so that'll be fine. But national show this weekend, I'll be there all day Friday, Saturday, walking around, buying, etc. I'm going to be super curious in Huntsville, which you know was when Game 7 or not Huntsville, Chattanooga, I always get them mixed up. That's when game seven of the Western Conference finals was. And Wemby, it was Friday night or Saturday night. Excuse me, it was a Saturday, Sunday show. So Saturday Wemby was super in demand because it's like what if they win tonight and then Sunday even more in demand because they won. I'm going to be very, very curious to see what things look like this weekend. If guys, if you see Wemby out at all, you know, some guys may just put it back and just say I'm not going to sell for low. If you guys see guys trying to unload Wemby, if guys are trying to, you know, I'm not getting in stream anymore this week. The do you have any Wemby cards guys coming in or not asking about him? I'm curious to see if we get that at the table. People coming up asking. So it will, it'll be a few weeks until I can report back on that, but I'll, I'll be able to report back some findings once I'm back from My trip. Yeah, please do. I'm very curious because, I mean, we saw what a 30% drop overnight. Like, that's. There is a lot of people who have some crazy stock of Wemby and it's a scary time. But I mean, that's the thing you said he's 22 years old. Yeah. It's got plenty of time. I wouldn't sweat too bad. Yeah, it's. And it's. I think a lot of people, to my point of, I think a lot of people are not going to put stuff out. It's the same thing when people have asked, like, do you think Ohtani prices will go down substantially ever? And my answer generally is no, because I think that most people have enough confidence in him and his market that if he were to get hurt or if something were to happen, that's a like not. It's not like him getting suspended for life for gambling. Like, if that happens, we got a big problem. That is markets going to tank. Every year that he plays, the floor raises. So that dip that you're expecting. Yeah, they're not going to sell it. I have so much stuff in my case right now that I was going through pricing and one in the last three weeks, stuff has gone up enough that I'm changing my sticker prices. And I'm also not going to be moving on price much because I know that it just keeps trending up and if you go and if you were to get hurt or something, I think that most people kind of look at it and you know, the big dealers with the big, with the big expensive cars, etcetera, will basically just say, I'm gonna put it aside because he'll be back and it'll be back to where it is. I'm not gonna take a loss on it because there's enough faith. So, yeah, we shall see. But we do have something fun for the viewers today that we have teased all last week. Very, very fun. So I don't know if you've ever listened to the show, but really the main premise of the Hobby Handbook is to kind of, like, teach collectors everything about the hobby, like, whether they're new, whether they're coming back for a while, things like that. I know that you have gotten into the hobby pretty deeply, you know, chasing your rainbow and, you know, with your Instagram and stuff like that. So I want you to give us a little bit of a background of you, like, hey, how'd you get into, you know, the sports card space and things like that? Yeah, so I never really was into cards, like, ever. My younger brother, he. He was in. In. In the cards a lot more. Or like, actually a few years ago, and I used to always be like, dude, like, what are you doing? Like, it's such a stupid hobby. Like, quit wasting your money. And then as soon as 2024 Bowman came out, that's when my first Bowman was released. And as soon as, you know, I started, like, seeing him surface online and all that. Actually, the first one I got was the Super Fracture. Someone posted that, and ever since I got the Super Fracture, like, I was like, all right, like, I'm gonna start collecting my own cards. I'm gonna try to get the whole rainbow. It only took a couple months. I got. I got that completed and I think just like, collecting my own cards. You know, I ripped a couple boxes of Bowman that year, and. And it was just fun. And then I started collecting other guys. And, you know, over the last year or so, like, that's just how I've started my collection. It's been mostly Nats guys or guys I played with in high school, just PC players like that. And then just like, holding on to cool, like some cool stuff that I'll get lucky whenever I rip. And kind of like that bench card that I sold and bought to you. Yes. Yeah. So. So for the viewers who don't know, so what, like, 8ish months ago. So obviously I'm a big Mets fan, but I bought a Carson Benz First Bowman auto from Travis on his Instagram. Funniest thing was, I didn't even realize it was you. I was like, oh, sick card 17. Like, oh, just a cool username, whatever. And I was like, I just saw it in your story because somebody sent it to me, he's like, hey, here's a really good price on this card. And so I messaged you. I was like, yeah, I'll take it. And then I was like, I saw your bio and you tagged you and I clicked on it. I was like, oh, shoot, this is pretty sick. And so we did that. And then what, a few months later, you're like, dude, I pulled that one myself. Can we make a deal? And that's how I ended up getting the card that's on my Instagram. I bought one of your true blues. And I was like, you can get it at the same price, but we're going to add a little spice to this if you can inscribe something on here. And we made the deal. Easy peasy. Yeah. Now that was funny. I've never sold a card and bought it back, but for some reason, that card, because I wanted one of his cards, because all the hype he was getting, I was, you know, I almost bought like a true blue of him, but I ended up not getting it. And I was like, you know what? Like, I. I pulled one of the. One of his cards, like, I gotta try to get it back. And you had like 30 of them. So I was like, let's see if we can actually find the right one. All right? We don't get to out me, dude. Come on. Get a lot of them. This is a sick collection, though. Yeah. Alex, what are you thinking? I know you've got questions. You mentioned that you, you know, collect some of the guys that you play with, etc, who are some of the guys that you have found yourself drawn to buying their cards, whether, you know, you've seen how good Carson Ben seems to be and you think it's a goodbye. Who is it that you're kind of collecting right now? Like I said, it's more just guys that I've played with or just. Just kind of like form relationships with, like, you know, been friends. And we're just like high school players that I played with, like, all the scouting stuff. Met a lot of guys through that. But yeah, like the. The biggest chunk of my collection is just nats guys, you know, guys that I've played with in minor leagues or guys in the big league team that I've got to know. Like, that's kind of what I do. If. If it's someone I haven't really met yet, I don't really get their card. But if it's someone that I've got to know and hang out with a bit, then I'll get their card. And so, I mean, I have a pretty good stack of Nats guys now, and I'm just like continuously buying them and. You know, anybody, you know, like, there's certain guys, like I said, I play with in high school that have cards now, so I'll try to snag those. And, you know, just friends that I've had over the years. I'm sure it's a pretty good buy because. Not the Nats. One of the best offenses in the league right now and really, really good farm system that you are the number two prospect in, which is pretty cool, might I add. Yeah, I. I just bought like a Brady House, his rookie auto from this year's Bowman. It was like 20 bucks. I was like, dude, like, that's a steal. Like, there's a lot of great, great buys for the Nats right now, especially James Wood. And just a ton of. It's like, it works out well how all the, all the NAS guys are all. They're all way cheaper than they should be, so it makes it easier to get the collection. It's crazy how cheap James Wood's cars are. Yeah, yeah. It's absurd. The dude rakes. So, you know, we talk about, you know, bringing some information to collectors and stuff. I want your take on the do's and the don'ts of getting an in person autograph. Like, if I want to go get an auto from you at a game, you know, give me the best times, give me the worst times, you know, give me the rundown of, like, what will make you say yes to, you know, a collector trying to get a card signed by you. Yeah, so the thing about me is, I guess not all players are like this, but I love signing for people. Like, I enjoy just, you know, seeing my cards and then putting my signature on them. Like, it's. It's fun. So, like, no matter who, like, I'll always sign. But I'd say the one thing that, to me that's kind of like, all right, man, is when people will like, have a whole sheet of just like 30 of them. And then they'll be like, like, hey, can you sign these? And then they'll like, I guess, like fake excuses, you know, like, hey, this one's for my son. You know, this one's for my friend, and then this one's for my dog. And I'm like, dude, like, what are you talking about, man? Like, you have like 50 of them. Like, there's no way you're definitely just reselling them because it's like, dude, I saw that on ebay last night. What are you talking to? I'll see him pop up on ebay. Which. Which is fine. Like, I mean, I get it. Like, you know, that's. That's the hobby, you know, like, it's buying and selling cards. But to me, I'd say just like, the. The fake. The fake excuses are just like, you know, that. I guess because whenever I hurt my elbow last year, I would get mess. Or, like, notes from. Or, like, fan mail with, like, the cards asking him to get signed. And people be like, hey, man, her saw your season's going great, man. Keep it up. And I'm like, like, dude, like, I've been out for three months now. Like, that kind of stuff. Like, actually know the player. You know, don't say something because I. Like, I said I always signed, but for a while there, I actually was not signing the ones that would say, like, you know, keep throwing or, you know, keep doing well and stay healthy and stuff. I wouldn't sign those because I was like, you obviously, you know, don't know anything about me because I'm obviously hurt right now. But. Yeah, but I'd say the dues, you know, just I. I enjoy, like, when people, like, show appreciation for it. That's why I'm always, like, reposting, you know, like then, because whenever I sell cards or, like, you know, through. Through the mail signatures, like, people, like, post it and tag me, and I always repost it. It's, you know, it's just. It's just cool, you know? And I. I like to write. I love writing Bible verses on them. Like, I do. I do a lot of that because I think, you know, like, you know, when cards, you know, get po posted on the Internet, you know, there's no better way to spread. Spread the good news and have a Bible verse on there and, like, make that the most important thing. That's been fun. But I mean, people. Even if people, like, send me, like, you know, like, four cards to sign, they'll be like, hey, can you sign these? And here, you can keep this one or you can keep this two and give to someone else that's like, you know, like, that's. That's That's a lot of cards to sign, obviously. But, like, that, you know, that's a good deal, you know, like, I'll sign that and I'll give it to somebody else. So just, like, being respectful and, like, being a good person about it, not just, like, you know, hogging everything, you know. Yeah. Note to self. Just be A good dude. That's all it is. It's like just like full of the player. Look at what the player is doing. Like, yeah, that's wild though. Like, hey, keep throwing gas, dude. It's like, yeah, like looking at the sling, you're like, come on, man. Yeah, like I said, I love, I love signing for people and I don't want anyone to be like, oh, Travis is like one of those guys who complains about it because like I said, I'm a collector myself and I understand, you know, people like love collecting all different types of things, including in person signatures. So I'm not going to take that away from anybody. I just say it like, you know, know the player, you know, don't say something that's like obviously just like a copy and paste note that says something on there that like I just talked about with me being hurt, you know, like that kind of stuff. No, totally makes sense. You mentioned signing a lot. I want to. What's the, what was your experience like when you actually like signed your first Bowman cards that top sent you directly and kind of that like getting that I'm sure huge stack of cards that you had to sign. How was that when you had to do that for the first time? It was cool. Like I said, whenever I signed them for the first time, I wasn't actually into the hobby so I just kind of like got through them pretty quick. And every time I sign now I try to like make my signature, you know, pretty consistent and look well. But at the time I was just like, I was actually timing myself like how many can I get through in 20 minutes? And so you're trying to get those PSA 10 tens now. You're like, I'm getting the 10 autos now in my first moment. There's a lot of ones that are streaky. Can. I'll take full responsibility for that. I didn't know what I was doing, but it was very cool. I mean almost like when you see a big cardboard box, you know, if it's a case of hobby box, case of hobby boxes. That's what it was like with all my Bowmans. It was like multiple of those like big cardboard boxes with like the cardboard boxes with the cards just lined up in them like it was sick, you know, and the guy take them out and they're like super shiny and stuff. And like, like I said, anytime I sign cards now for tops, like it's fun. I enjoy seeing, you know, what the future cards are going to look like and just signing them. I love doing Inscriptions. Like, I. Every time I sign now, I'll throw inscription inscriptions in there. I try. I try to collect some of them myself. But also, you know, if I hog everything myself, it makes it not fun. So I try to, you know, leave some for everyone else, but. But yeah, I love signing, like I said, for in person people or Tops. Yeah. I feel like signing it would have been. I feel like I'd be like, it's awesome that you got your super fracture, because if Tops sent me my super fractor to sign, I'd be like, but I want this card. Like, so it's awesome that you were able to sign it and get it back after somebody pulled it. Yeah. Because you have that and don't you have. What were you saying? No. Don't you have your rose gold one of one as well from the mega boxes? Yeah, I got that one. I got Bowman for super. I got the Bowman mega rose gold one of one. I got last year's top 100 Bowman prospects. Insert super fracture. I actually had my pro debut foil fractor, but actually gifted it to my younger brother because he's a collector. So those are the four I've gotten. Every time now someone pulls one, they reach out to me. They're like, hey, are you interested in this? But, like, I don't know. I don't want to be that guy who has, like, all my super fractures. So I'm at the point now where I actually, I won't. I won't get them anymore because I want there to be, you know, cool cards of me out there in other people's hands. No, that's awesome. Yeah. But he'll always, like, FaceTime me, and he'll be like, teasing me. He'll like, grab the super fracture and be like, all right, I'm going to put this up for 100 bucks, man. And he, like, always messing with it. And he'll. He actually made a post the other day of him holding some of my. My big cards back at home. But, but yeah, they're, they're pretty cool live. So what are on ebay live? Yeah. So I'm curious. So like, obviously the clubhouse, you know, I've seen like Jack Caglion post about this and like Bobby Witt and stuff. What is like the clubhouse perspective on cards? I feel like some dudes might be in it, some not. Some are Pokemon guys. Like, what do you feel like the clubhouse perspective is on them? A lot of Pokemon. That's more common, I'd say. You know, if you're in our locker room with 20 people, I'd say probably seven. Seven or eight guys will probably be in a. Cards of some type. That's, that's kind of the percentage, I'd say. Like I said, there's always a good amount of Pokemon guys. But. But yeah, the baseball, the baseball stuff is cool, especially in the minor leagues. I know last year when Bowman came out 20, 25, there are some guys just like ripping boxes in the locker room because they're like chasing their cards and stuff. Which for me, you know, I'm like actually a collector. So like, you know, they like threw their base cards away and stuff and they, they like not top loading stuff and putting off to the side. And I was like, oh, guys, like, come on. But they, but it's, it's fun. You know, we'll, we'll always. It happens every season. You know, we'll be out in some random minor league city and we'll go hit up a card shop and go see if they have. But I think it's getting more popular as well. A lot of people are into it now. That's, it's, it's really cool. I really like that. Topps has done a lot of like, work on marketing to like get players involved. So you say that you go to card shops. I feel like Tops, if Tops is listening, I feel like they should be providing these players with some of these cards and some open because it especially like for you who has a card Instagram, like, that's some great organic content that is, that gets people motivated to say, hey, this is super cool. Travis collects. I want to chase his card because he's somebody that collects himself and I want to collect him. So Tops, if you're listening, let's, let's, let's hook up some minor leaguers with some cards. Don't let me keep my cards whenever. Like, they will let me even keep a base card whenever I sign them too. So if they're hearing this, let me keep one base card. That's it just one. It's crazy. I kind of want to. I kind of want to dive into, like a bigger perspective question here when it comes to just being the life of a pro baseball player. So what is something that nobody told you about going into professional baseball that you wish somebody had told you? You see, I feel like in high school, because I was going to Texas, I love University of Texas. That was the number one school by far. But as much as I love Texas, I just love pro ball so much more. So I guess the way I went about everything was preparing myself as much as I could for pro ball. And I guess the way I worked was the way I trained in high school was, you know, how you go about your business in the. In pro ball. So I'd say I was pretty prepared. But the one. I'd say the one biggest shocker was just because everyone says, you know, like, you know, you're going to meet guys who are better than you. You're going to meet guys who are just as good as you. Like the, you know, it just gets the talent. Everything gets more narrow, you know, and weeded out. And I remember when I first showed up after the draft, and this is, this is just like backfields at the complex, you know, because I came out of high school and I was throwing upper 90s into 100, and I was like, man, like, I'm like a world record thrower. Like, this is like, I'm like, I'm top. And I show up the complex and I'm just watching a backfield game one day and there's just some random guy just, you know, ripping 100, and I'm like, like, what is this? Like, how did I never hear about this guy? Like, that's the one thing is just you truly have to be there, like, as a player, like, if you're a high school kid about to get drafted, whenever you get to pro ball, you'll. You'll see when they say, like, you know, the talent is just a huge difference. It's. It's insane the amount of talent these guys have. Yeah, that makes sense. I mean, because, you know, the way that I look at it is obviously I never played professional baseball, but, you know, you see the, the concept of just like, hey, you're like, you said you're just as good as everybody else there. So it's kind of like an ego check in a way of like, hey, like, you may be the top dude in your town, the top dude in your state, but there's people all over the world playing this game who have, you know, dedicated their lives to this. And you got to be able to go out there and, hey, I'm gonna put in the same amount of effort and compete with these dudes and hopefully beat them every day. That was the biggest shocker for me. And it wasn't like, oh, my gosh, like, I'm, like, so behind. It was just like, man, there are a lot. There are very talented guys out there that you've never heard of. And, you know, and also just like, natural talent, like that. That was. The biggest difference, too, is, you know, everyone makes it seem like, oh, these guys, you know, everyone works so hard to get there. And I, I, I'm. I've always been a worker. You know, in high school, I just put tons of hours in. I still do, but, you know, that I thought for everyone to be good, they have to put tons of work in. But I was actually surprised on, like, how just, like, naturally gifted some of these arms are. I'm speaking about pitchers, but guys who can throw 97 and they. They can just wake up out of bed, eat McDonald's for breakfast, you know, sleep five hours and go rip 98 miles an hour. Like, that's not me. I'm not able to do that. But there are guys who can do that. Guy's a horse. That's crazy. So I do want to ask one thing kind of based off that, you know, you say that there are plenty of guys that you feel like nobody talks about. Who's a guy that immediately comes to mind when you're like, this dude is super, super talented, but nobody talks about him. So if we're speaking in terms of talent, Jarlan Susanna, I'm sure people are aware of him. I don't even know. Like, that guy throws so hard. Like, I've seen him do things that I saw this hype about Mizarowski, how He is averaging 99.8 this year as a starter, and nobody knows, but Susanna, last year in the Minor leagues averaged 99.9 as a starter, and that's in the minor leagues. So I think that's what I'm saying. Like, people don't realize, you know, what's going on in the minor leagues. People get, you know, people forget about him. And I'm not going to sit here and talk about his numbers or anything that he's putting up because he's rehabbing as well off of a lat surgery, but he's putting up some numbers right now on bullpens that are even better than what he did. Last year when he averaged 99.9. So he's someone who wild. Yeah, y' all gotta look out for him. That guy. That guy is unreal. And I'd say as far as a hitter, Sam Peterson, that dude he always hits, he's super undervalued. I think more people are going to hear about him in the future. He's in Bowman this year. But he's. Yeah, I was about to say, I was like, I think he's in these bad boys right here. 26 bowman. Yeah, he is. He's. He's, you know, every. Every prospect that gets in the cards, you know, most of them are just like high draft picks, but some guys get, you know, get their own card by performing, and he definitely got his own card by performing. It makes me think of, like, Christopher Sanchez for the Phillies literally does not have a rookie card. I don't know if you knew that, Trent. No, I didn't. That to the point of, you got to get to, like, the fact there are so many guys that don't get a Bowman card or a rookie card, etc. And, you know, you got to get there and perform. And now he's got cards because he's, you know, up there with Cy Young. Yeah. Yeah. But, yeah, that's. That's. It's. It's got to be super cool to be able to see that. Like, I know that Matt Strom, I think it is, collects guys that hit a home run off of him, but it has. Have you ever pitched against anybody that you're like, oh, this dude is, like, super talented. I got to get some of his stuff. So everyone asked me this. The guy who I've personally had the most trouble with in the minor leagues. I'm not. I don't know if I'm saying his name right, but it's Angel Ganoa or Ganao. I don't know how to say it. Yeah, Guardians. With the Guardians. And I. I started facing him back in eight ball in 2024, and then I faced him in Double A last year, and he. He's good. Like, I. I mean, he's another one of those guys I see on a top hundred prospects list. But, like, his Bowman auto is like, his base is like 30 or 40 bucks. Like, it's kind of. It's kind of low. But he's always been. He's always been one of those guys who every time I face, like, he just always seems to get the best of me. That kind of. I kind of want to keep in this. This lens of Sorry to bring up dudes who might be playing well against you, but I kind of want to think of, like, what is your grail card that won't. Like, not yours. Like, obviously, we can say, like, your Topps Chrome Rookie super when you make it to the bigs, but who's it. What's a card now? A debut patch. Trent, come on. Oh, excuse. Or your debut patch. That'd be pretty dope, too. But, like, what's it? What's, like, a grill card for you that's not your card. Like, obviously, we can all sit here and say, like, you know, Shoho Tani, one of one or something crazy like that, but to think of something that one day I'm gonna convince this guy to, like, buy it back. I'm sure you all heard of Kern's cards, but I. I actually sold. I pulled a first Sebastian Walcott first Bowman Auto, and this was the first hobby box I'd ever ripped when my. When my Bowman came out. But it was his true red first Bowman auto out of 2024 Bowman. But I didn't see the first emblem on it. And I was like, okay, it's not a first, but ob Was. And so I. I end up selling that card. I listed it on ebay for way too cheap. Probably like, 50 comp. Thinking it was, like, a high. Like, I listed it too high, and it sold. But I ended up actually, like, people were like, messaging me, like, dude, like, no. Like, cancel that sale. Like, you. You're like, you don't know what you're doing. I was like, yeah, you're right. And then. So I end up reselling it to. To Kearns. He currently has it, but one of those days, like that. That's the card I want to buy. I want to buy, you know, like, it's not like a, you know, insanely, insanely expensive card, but it's, to me, like, it's. It's a. I call that a big card. And the fact that I pulled it kind of, like, with you, you know, that Carson Bench, like, I just. Yeah, whenever you pull a card, you know, it's cool and, like, you kind of want it back. So if he's listening to this dude, I. I'm gonna buy it back from you one day. I already told him that. Yeah. Shout out Kern. Kern's an awesome dude. So I have. I have pulled two gigantic supers, and both times he's bought them. I've got his number and everything. Great dude. Sports card CEO, podcast host, super awesome dude. He just built an app Too. Yeah, he's a great dude. Huge, great prospect, mind. But, yeah, he's got some crazy stuff. So kind of I wanted to do like a rapid fire segment, but I feel like it's more fun if we kind of have it more of like a casual conversation with it because you can. You can tell stories like this. So I feel like you've been around plenty. You've been through multiple leagues and stuff, so you've been to plenty of ballparks. What's the best city that you've been to? Because I just got to Double A when I got her. So all I know of is kind of the lower levels of the minor leagues. But we did go to Columbia, South Carolina. That was a cool place. It was. Is in low way, actually, but it was the Royals low. A stadium. The Fireflies. Yeah. And it was a super, super nice stadium. It was in Columbia. It was right next to the campus. Like, that was one of those places where I wake up in the morning and I just, like, go on walks, you know, and go explore the city on my, you know, with my buddies and stuff. So that, that was a cool place. But, yeah, like, I haven't been anywhere big yet just because I just got to Double A when I got hurt. But as far as a ball, that was impressive. Well, if you ever go to the Pensacola Stadium at the Blue Wahoos, I think they're double A. It's a nice stadium. My parents live in Pensacola. Really, really cool. It's right on the water. It's a nice one. Yeah, it's right where the jets fly out of because that's where the Blue Angels fly out of. That would be pretty sick. Nice little unintentional Air Force connection there. No, Blue Angels are the Navy. Shut up, Alex. So, Travis, what is. If you could rip any product, like, let's say you had an unlimited supply of a product to rip, what would it be? Would you continue at 24 Bowman? Because I feel like you wouldn't because you already have, like, the super and the Red and stuff, what would be the product, you know, in the last 10 years that you're like, get me 10 cases, I want to go rip it. Me and my younger brother, our favorite product was 2024 Bowman Draft WE. We used to go to the card shop because, I mean, I don't know, I'm not like, huge on, like, going to buy a whole box, but they'd, like, pack out boxes and stuff, and there's like, three autos in the. In the box. So we go buy packs and we hit some, like, crazy stuff out of 20, 24 draft. And we always talk about it. If we could go get anything right now and just rip and rip and rip, it would be 24 Bowman draft. We had a blast. Those boxes are crazy expensive now, too. They're like a crazy box. It's absurd. Yeah, but, yeah, I mean, that's the thing is, like, there's so many good names in it. Yeah. Yeah, that was our favorite product. I had nothing in it that year, but, yeah, we pulled some amazing things out of there. Awesome to have you on. It's funny, I, you know, we. I've been playing in a dynasty baseball league for the last decade, plus with a bunch of my college and high school friends and I. One of the guys that I follow that just does, like, scouting and such, he called you out as a, like, breakout pitching prospect, like, before you became a top 100 guy. Kind of really blew up. And I was like, okay, so I guess we're picking between Ohtani and Ohtani. But whoever the audience picks in terms of the comments on my Instagram and TikTok videos will, I will give that card away. So it was super nice auto crops, which is super nice as well that like you don't have to do the whole zooming in and cropping your image like it's just the right size. So yeah, so I Post office is going to hate me over the next week as things slowly go out. Hopefully. Hopefully. Yeah. But you know, when you bring in, when you bring in a tub, you know, eventually they start being like, oh, it's this guy again. That's their job. They see us all the time. The amount of packages that I send out, it's ridiculous. But yeah, I mean, super easy to do. I'll probably list more here in the next couple weeks.
