Now back to your show. Oh, we're not doing the music. Yu-Gi-Oh no music. What the hell? All right, we're in the new studio. We've been here for like three hours. I'm ready to go home. We haven't recorded a word. We've got this camera. We've got both. Is that both? There's cameras. Which one's both of us? That one, the middle. You got camera twos on us. That's what's on. What's probably what. I don't know what they're seeing now anyways because it's going to be edited so. Well, whatever you're seeing is what you're seeing. So this is the new studio. Looks good. We have some more lighting coming in. Will look better. Jesse's gonna put his pervert crap over here. Probably don't say that. So it's gonna be fun. This is. I really want everyone to be able to see what the whole studio looks like. We'll have to do like a YouTube walkthrough. Papa Geo's room is upstairs. You can walk through the bedroom. We'll do the extra behind the scenes. Wait for the camera. Dad behind the wall. Just wave to the camera. Just. Yu-Gi-Oh there. There you go. You wait. There you go. He said hi. You can hear him, but he said it. So this is. Who would have thought, six years later, this is where we're at. It's pretty good. It's a weird thing. Most of the studio. So Jesse's pretty. Pretty profunct with it. It. I will tell you the. What they have built. They. They have over engineered this because there is a time and hopefully a very soon time where we'll be able to do a lot of other shows in here. However, for now, for just what we do, it's. Yu-Gi-Oh Also, by the way, so many buttons. So this is new. There's a thing under the desk. I can turn the mix is what they call it. Oh, look at you go. I almost can't hear you. And it is glorious. Just turned it all the way down. I've never had control of anything in our studio, so this is nice. I know. Cups with the logos on it. There's going to be a trash can back here for. For all of you. Listener only. You are experiencing nothing new. This is the exact same thing for you. So you're welcome. Maybe. All right, I have. I do have topics. Can we do top. We got Brian coming in black gold. He. He one-of-one the high bid at the Jimmy V charity auction. And part of that was an Otani rookie. The other part was going to schlep on here with us. So it'll be. What is that we say 45. 12, 45. It's about 20 minutes from now. Okay, so we got time. End of the show. We're going to do you, Gary V. And Logan Paul. By the way, we'll do a little segment of that. You know, your boy Gary screwed you today. They released all those cuts. It is literally just Gary talking. The blonde idiot talking. Gary, blonde idiot. Where did they. Nothing in the middle. He posted something. V Friends account posted a ton of stuff today. You are cut out. Except the only reason I know you're there, other than the fact that I knew you're there. You can see a hand next to him and the thumb is about the size of his torso. So your sausage fingers made the cut. Nothing. V Friend. It is funny. They literally went out of their way to cut it and I was like, they're acting like these guys are cutting. It's so ridiculous. Here's the thing. I'm not going to give in. He. He's feeding the anger. He wants me to get angry. I'm angry for you. I'm going to try not to. I'm going to hold back until I see it. Well, I'm just saying it's. He made a couple comments about not wanting to be there. The guy was standing behind a booth. Now I know it's a lie. Okay, that part of it's a lie. What are your topics? Okay. Talk about something sports, cars related. I had talked about this earlier. I was curious what the trend would be after the National. We have this, like, historic meteoric rise before, which usually we don't. Normally we see things chill out, Shimmer down before the show because everybody's waiting to blow their money in Chicago, wherever the show will be. So I thought, it's only been four days. I grant you, I Beckett three. What would you Say are three of the most. Three examples of cards that we have talked to. I've talked about ad nauseam during this boom of the last one year. These goat type cards. Mantle, if you do Mantle would be. We never talk about that because doesn't sell enough. That's okay, we'll talk about it. Okay. Not on the list. We talk about goats. So I'm sure Tom Brady, which card you remember? Bowman Chrome. Thank you. Bowman Chrome PSA 10. Yes. That card was doing 33 to 35,000 by the way when leading up to the show. Oh, okay. Even at the show somebody sold one for 33 cash. The one person I spoke to, I'm sure others sold that card has come down 30 and 31 of the only two sales since the show. Oh, however the Jordan actually come down a little bit. The Jordans, however, the 86. 87 or. Yu-Gi-Oh 1986 FLIR PSA 7 PSA. I think the sevens are doing a 13 to 14. Okay, still are eight still at 20 has not moved at all. Not up or down. We're four days away. The other card, what's the baseball card? We've used to categorize this entire boom. I mean which Otani rookie are you wanting to do? Goat. We're talking goats though. Retired Griffey, Upper Deck. Thank you. 19. Sports boy. Where's the camera? I look in to say you're just look into all of them. All three times. Y. Sports boys. There it is. 6,000 bucks. Still $6,000. I thought there would be a very immediate reaction after the national. What did you. When you say immediate, you mean like a drop? Yu-Gi-Oh I thought the week after people like, hey, we just spent all this money in Chicago. Sure. A bunch of suckers got fooled into buying. By the way, deep dish Chicago pizza sucks. Now you. You've had only the one that they. What's the one around that. No, no, I had. I had the. No, the famous place. You were with me, dummy. What was the name of the place? I don't know, I wasn't there. What's the most famous Chicago pizza? Well, there's a lot of bombs here. There's Giordano's Gino. Oh, it sucks. They bring you a pizza that is thicker than this friggin glass. It's lava hot. You can't eat it for 90 minutes and then the inside is freezing by the time you can bite it again. I don't know what you're getting. You shouldn't. You got bad pizza, you go to Aurelio's. Anyways you deep dish in Chicago's overrated. Everything is garbage. No wonder people are shooting each other. Do not speak of Chicago. That is the gun violence issue in Chicago. The sucks. Buys cards all weekend and says Chicago's terrible. All right, well, we were in Rosemont, so not Chicago. But I did. I thought people like, hey, we spent all this money. When we come back, there will be a real lull. Yu-Gi-Oh By the way, Brady sold twice since then. It's not like this is like a trend. The next one can come out at 33, 34. I wouldn't be shocked. Sure. Some of the other stuff, though, the Otani, I don't know if you saw that one I showed on the. I think I showed it on the show. The Otani pitching 2018 Topps Chrome PSA, 10 base, rookie. Okay. It was doing 14 to 15. I did not get an offer above 1400 it at the show. Sold it this morning for 1550. Oh, you got. And some have actually done more than that. Where did you sell it, by the way? Right on Facebook. I made a little post. So you sold it for 1550. I would just argue that that is what people are buying it for on ebay when you include taxes and shipping and things like that. Oh, they're going for even more than that. So, I mean, like the last couple have been 1700, but before the show they were selling 14 to 1500 on eBay. They're selling more since the show. Okay. Granted, they got other two or. Well, flat for flat. Flat. And Brady maybe down. Only other thing I was going to mention about the show, I showed off that George Lombard red card I bought. He's a prospect for the Yankees. Okay. He literally got promoted two days ago, hit a home run. It was perfect. I Goldin sell it for a thousand at the show first. Why wouldn't you Just mic you up next time if you're going to comment. If you're going to. Next time, just get on the mic. This is why we built this here is it? Yu-Gi-Oh He's shy, but like that card, I sold that this morning. 1500 bucks. I was pretty excited. So where you're selling these all on like Instagram though, or something? I literally sold. I'm doing the big ebay live show Sunday night with everything else from the national. Those two big boys. I was like, hey, let me just sell these direct. Okay. So obviously there's going to be some people who have FOMO from the show. That's been my thinking is like there's going to be a lot of People who want cards that weren't there, they've seen all the content, they're like, oh dang, that was there. So I do wonder if we have like this week or so after, where things stay pretty much steady, maybe a little up in some cases and then we see maybe a little bit of a decline. And if we do, because I mean, I would say usually that's a. It's a normal thing. It's not unusual to see a decline in the market. But you also have what, Topps Chrome Basketball or Tops Update Basketball. Topps, Chrome Update Basketball releases that I got to go in. The pricing on that alone, by the way, it came out on blow at a 25,000 a case for delight. We just sold our. We sold the only three case we got at 20 grand. That's insane. It's very rare. I feel bad when I rip a kit. Like you go into it feeling nauseous because you know no one's gonna make their money back. This guy Brad's rip, it's a personal case. He bought the whole friggin thing. Why? Why? Because if you hit a Cooper Flag, it's. It's crazy money. But like a. Not even Cooper Flag, just like a low number hit a big num. Color number. Auto. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh Or you hit the. I think there's a thing out now. Hey, Brendan, I want to see if we can one of you jump up. Brendan, didn't you just text something about this? I don't know why he's texting during the show. Just talk. We one-of-one actually be able to see him, but we can hear him though. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh So the Mavs put out a massive bounty for the Cooper Flag. There's the first ice. What was the price? What was the price on it? 3.5. No, no, I saw a 2 million one. This is a. Use your words. Yu-Gi-Oh it's. It's more of like Mavs stuff. So you get two Mav season tickets for 32 years. Oh, oh. This is like the Pirates thing, remember the Skins thing? Who wants to go to a Mavericks game? They suck now. But there's. There is another bounty out there for 2 million. God's sakes. There's a jelly. Somebody named Jelly Bean who. I've seen some content about this already. Jelly Bean put out a million dollar on two million dollar bounty on Cooper Flag's debut patch. Not Jelly Roll. Jelly Bean is a different person. So anyways, I don't know if that is so what's really interesting is this person has like a card account. So there's another jelly who put out some content about this girl putting out the two million dollar bounty. This jelly's a girl. This jelly is a girl. So she puts out the two million dollar bounty. But you go to her page and she's only had this page for like a month and a half or something. It's got like 30, 000 followers buying a $2 million Cooper flag card. So there's some speculation of like, oh, this is somebody who's put up to put out a bounty. Yu-Gi-Oh she's like a big. Okay, I believe so. I believe she's some kind of influencer. You have a weird tone. And she likes. Well, never mind. So there's something unsavory about this person, I can tell. No, it's not anything about the person herself. It's just more of the idea that there's bounties being put up by people who aren't real fans and they're. It, it makes it feel like, oh, is somebody working this behind the scenes to like, hey, you should put up this bounty. Let me take a guess. This was an example of put a good looking. I'm assuming she's attractive. That would be accurate. Okay. In front of all the idiots who just came back from a convention full of guys. That would be accurate. Yu-Gi-Oh Okay. But I mean I, I don't care about anything about what she looks like. My bigger point is why is this a thing happening? Like if that's true, I just. Yu-Gi-Oh and that's exactly why it. I don't like it though, because Mike and Mike literally just told us we don't like. Well then I don't know who's putting her up to it either. So, Yu-Gi-Oh I can't. Yu-Gi-Oh we can't just openly blatantly say blame them. But there is something a little odd about somebody who wasn't in the space. Now they're in the space. Oh, and I'm going to put $2 million. I want to buy the biggest card. Now it could be like there's a lot of people who are coming into this space and they have FOMO because they're like, oh, wasn't in. And I want to get in and get one of these big, big cards. But I just, I don't know. Like, you have. What the. How much was the Otani last week? That was 2 million, right? No, it's 12. 12 million. Excuse me, $12 million on that Otani. But at least that creep is in the space. But I don't even care about the person who bought it, it's just the amount of money going to these ultra modern cards, these brand new cards. I, it makes me a little under. Yu-Gi-Oh I'm a little unnerved by the amount. Very unnerved. I'm a little unnerved. And I'm also. I need to turn my volume down too loud. I'm going to tell you right now, Jelly's not her birth name. I'm going to go out on a limb. You don't, you don't know that for sure. You can't say Jelly. What's the name? Jelly. Jelly Bean. Jelly Bean. You don't, you don't know what her real name is. Put her in the Travis Scott brand of people. People. I don't care about who everybody knows. Apparently she very famous. I again, have you ever heard of her before this? No, I hadn't. But that doesn't mean much. I mean, if I was Jelly Bean. You're asking your dad. Come on. Come on, Brian. Have you heard of Jelly Bean? Okay, Yu-Gi-Oh checking. I had a couple things on my notes I'm going through. My point though, just to wrap this segment up was generally we see a big drop off after the national as well. I think FOMO will carry it for a little bit like you're talking about, but I also think. Let's talk in 30, 60 days. What are your thoughts between now and the end of the year? Where. Where's the market going down and then up flat? I think we see a steady. Just the end of the year. I think we see just steady numbers. Really? Yep. I don't think it's dropping this year because again, now you start looking at timeline of stuff. The playoffs are coming, NBA is coming, NBA draft, by the way, and a bunch of these kids are balling out. Then the season's going to start. You're going to have a bunch of people chasing stuff. NFL season's about to start. Yu-Gi-Oh it's kind of a perfect storm. So I, that is what I think happens from now to the end of the year. Do you think like any of the releases towards the end of the year start affecting this? Because I'm trying to think if there's anything really big between now in the end of the year. Yu-Gi-Oh I mean, there's going to be a few, but. Well, your whole slate of baseball is still going to come out. 2026 baseball. So 2026 baseball, you're going to have, you're going to start seeing your first basketball, which will be. I was going to say, when is that? Like 2026 next few months. Yu-Gi-Oh B. Now, football is the only one that's going to be underwhelming. Flagship comes out in a couple weeks. Again, you get Mendoza and a bunch of guys no one cares about, but you still will have product coming out of a new draft class. Yu-Gi-Oh that's the way I think we'll. I will prop up the market. If there's hot enough prop. Hot enough products coming out between now and then, I think that will help maintain market stability. People still buying and selling and trading, because it is. It's very cyclical. If there's something good coming out, then people will buy it, then they're going to want to sell it and then there's going to be people who want those singles and it'll. People want to grade it and it'll go back out on the market and resell. It's all these things, different things. And I. I thought. I'm saying the goat stuff. The goat stuff is totally independent of what you're talking. Oh, no, I'm talking about just the market general. I'm talking about the. The hobby in general between now and the end of the year. Same question we talked about with Mike and Mike. You're not going to see stuff as hot in baseball or. Excuse me, in football. This class is very underwhelming in the hobby compared to last year's. But that. So you say that. Let me pause you there, because that will. I agree with you. Typically, if the class is not that great, then it would not do as well. However, with the amount of marketing that goes on right now with all of these sets, it does make me think we're still going to see boxes come out at $1,000 for a hobby. Have you seen anything about football come out yet? No. And flagships about to release. That's what I mean. That's what I mean. I don't think there's a whole lot of marketing. I know there's some marketing. I haven't seen anything where I'm like, now I'm going to go buy and I normally wouldn't. Well, usually they don't do a lot of marketing until they start announcing the product to begin with. And we haven't gotten an announcement yet. So what? Actually, I just said Flagship has been announced and released in a couple weeks. But in the grand scheme of things, Flagship's not one. They usually throw a lot of marketing around. But if we. That is the most. Hang on, wait. When J Rod did, like the whole chef thing in Phoenix, that was their big commercial. They played Everywhere. That was flagship last year when Ohtani was on the. Like, they usually market the crap out of flagship because it's the most attainable for baseball, they've done it for everything. Basketball, they've done it for all of them. Okay. That is, I'm thinking more of like a chrome or an update because those are the ones that you see a lot of marketing behind. And I don't know when they're going to put that out for 2023. Yu-Gi-Oh those are months away. Yu-Gi-Oh But flag every year is a crazy marketed thing. Okay. Because again, it's, it's easy. You can actually market to the kids because they can go get a box for 100 bucks, 200 bucks, whatever it is. Yu-Gi-Oh we'll see. I just think. Yu-Gi-Oh it's underwhelming on paper, which is tough. I'm not sure what you're marketing for the offensive lineman that went six, like, I don't know, like right now it's Mendoza and nobody. Basketball will help though. Like, dude, the basketball class. Those top four guys look awesome in preseason. So. Okay, we'll see. Did you have anything PSA related? Like, did you happen to look and see. Did you see, by the way, Beckett is now shut down all their lower tiers. That's what I was going to say. PSA is shut down. C. SGC has now either pushed the push their return time back or shut down some of their lower levels. And then SGCs are live still and I mean, I'm assuming, but it's just going to be a matter of time before SGC shuts down then. I mean, hobby has a problem with the amount they want graded. I'm no longer just pointing the finger at, hey, everybody needs to scale up. I just think we need to start buying raw cards again. Stuff that does not deserve to be graded and as a hobby. But it's not going to happen. There's still a multiplier. Oh, you want people to sell their raw cards? Don't worry about buy and sell raw cards that are cheap enough that don't need to be freaking great. Not every card needs to be graded. But that's the problem right now. Everything is being marketed as having such a value. I get it. And so it's like, oh, well, by the way, it's your people doing this. 80% of it. Don't even start. Why do you need a flying lizard in a plastic case? Because they. If you're an adult, you shouldn't be playing. I would say if anything, even though it's in a little Bit of a Downtown right now. I would say the healthiest market is probably Pokemon of all of this. Absolutely not. There's nothing healthy about you idiots pushing each other in line at Target. So first off, I'm not even that big of a Pokemon guy, so I don't know how I feel about all of it. When you are the mayor on pervert land, you just stop residents. You. You're using it too much again. You know how people feel about it. No, your three friends don't like it. And I don't want. When. When I hear from your people that they don't like it. It's my people. That's all I getting the. All right, so all the people that are. What? I'm getting some weird. Do you ever get that, like, when you go loud? This is something for Brian, our. Our audio guys. So it gets like a. Almost like a little staticy or something when I go loud. Oh, I didn't even hear it. You heard it just now you're saying. Yu-Gi-Oh I heard it on mine. And maybe it's because of mine. So it. Yu-Gi-Oh On my mic. Okay, so let me turn me down. Thank. Some of the best advice in the studio. I didn't even hear it, by the way. Yu-Gi-Oh also. Well, that's good. If you didn't hear it, then I'm hoping it is just the fact that mine's up too loud. He didn't hear it either. Either that or he's a liar. Interesting. When I started making fun of your creepy community all of a sudden. Oh, there's audio issues, you know. I know. I'm just saying, for all the people who don't care for it on the s. On the. The sports card set. Okay. Yu-Gi-Oh I'm getting. I'm down now, and I'm still getting it. Weird. Yu-Gi-Oh it's. I don't hear anything. Okay, so it's something definitely on mine. This is called guilty conscience, folks. This is what you're expecting. I have no guilty conscience now you're. Y. You. It's so weird when I go. When I go louder for you. I'm not picking it up. Yu-Gi-Oh it's something on my end. We'll. We'll pick it up and post. We'll figure it out. This is. Take care of that post, guys. Don't worry about it. This is a conversation not. I don't care about. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh I would like to. I think we can agree there. Yes. And my only pushback is do I want to see capacity grow? Sure. But I also don't need to see a junk slab era. I don't need all four grading companies having all time highs every month and having a ton of crap on the market and holders. It doesn't need to be. Some of this is on the box. So this is going to be on the grading people. I mean us, great. I mean obviously it's on us because we're the ones sitting in the cards. I think it has to come down to a better understanding of what holds value over time and. But it doesn't really matter if Yu-Gi-Oh my card's gonna go down in value over the next six months, but not right now. Who cares if right now I get it back and I can flip it? Yu-Gi-Oh I agree. But the TCG thing is new because like they haven't graded in volume like this. Not like they have this year the number. So I heard from one of the grading Companies it's like 25x what it used to be for TCG for the volume coming in, I would believe it. I mean real just knowing like there's so many of the cards out there. But it's such a big fandom. If you were to say take out all TCG from PSA 75 of their stuff. Yu-Gi-Oh you'd be fine. Like there'd be plenty of grading. But why would PSA and all the other collectors in general, nobody wants that. So it's like it's just such a massive, massive hobby that it should be a good thing. A lot of sports guys should appreciate the fact that they're in here because they wouldn't get a lot of the probably upgrades in the business if it weren't for the amount of money pouring in from tcg. I guess I'd be fine if you all left. I know you are right. And also I realize, here's what I've also realized. There are more sport guys that will also buy one or two teeth or like oh Yu-Gi-Oh than there are. The only reason I know this, I sat next to Funko. You can't see it. That's the pervert up there. And that fits in that picture. He knows. He, he sat next to me at the booth for probably what, three hours? The Mohawk dude, About three hours on Friday. Is that Friday? Thursday or Friday? Thursday or Friday. The amount of guys though that would go to my, my showcase all sport. And then look at his. I'm like, oh, there's one or two that sent me not like jumping and well, and he's not a Pokemon guy, but he does have Disney and Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh but the amount of People who went to him first and were like, only into the Disney stuff and then just walk by mine. Totally. There's way more crossover of a sport guy into yours. But there is some of your world that comes over as well. So I think it overall, it is a good thing. Well, right now, dude, I always say too, though, you guys are just behind where we are. We kind of went through this thing of great everything. No matter what. I think, I think the TCG guys will learn, like, oh, you know what? Maybe we also need to pump the brakes. But the multiplier is crazy right now. That's the thing. It's also I, I, I have fully committed to. There's not two sides of this hobby where it's sport and non sport. It is three. It is sport, non sport, and by far, it is tcg. Oh, yes. TCG is its own world. And it's because, and I say this because, like, doing hobby nonsense. I have really come to realize, I have really come to realize that it is a non sport thing that I talk about and it's a TCG thing that PO that Ray talks about. And when you start talking about these things together, there's a lot of like, oh, disconnects. Because it's like, oh, well, we don't usually grade it like that or we don't view it like, you should be able to sell that raw. And that's what's crazy too, is there is so much buying and selling of raw stuff on the TCG side. Do you guys think the TCG guys are creeps? Like, I think you're creeps. No, we don't. We're very welcoming. We. In fact, our motto is collect what you like. Oh, I'm sure. Acceptance. I'm sure that world that is, we, we are very much accepting. Hey, by the way, producers Brennan and Alan, when he, when Brian's here, just throw him on. So we know. All right, we're here. Black. So I teased the interview earlier. We're here with Brian and Brian Fees and Houston, that's one last name. And Danny. And then they got some goof over there. Paul, who I will have fired by the end of this show. Paul's having a great time. Brian is here, though, because Brian graciously was the high bidder on the Jimmy V Parody Auction, eBay Live. By the way, we got the confirmation today. They just sent the money, so that was nice. Oh, they did pay. Yu-Gi-Oh we did actually get the money. He one-of-one the Otani rookies and he one-of-one a spot on this illustrious podcast. Okay. Be honest. Which did you want more, the podcast appearance or the Otani? I don't think even knew. Did you know you one-of-one the spot, Brian? I. I didn't know that I one-of-one I had a feeling, but I was like. I was like, you know what? I'm gonna take this one down because I. I love Otani. I think he's the next. I probably actually made some money on that auction, but they went cheap. Yu-Gi-Oh At one point, I was like, hey, when you want to come on the pod? He's like, oh, what do you want to talk about? So you just one-of-one the auction? No clue. I could have gotten out of this so quick. Yu-Gi-Oh no, we just got the Ohtani's yesterday in the mail, by the way, so thank you for that. Oh, okay. Authentication, I was gonna say. They'll ship them. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh authentication, definitely. Okay. Are you looking at your monitor, by the way? I just remembered I need to look at my. Dude, I'm spot on over here. This is our first show in here, by the way, we have black gold sports cards. That's their name. Where are you guys at, by the way? I always say Wisconsin, but I don't know if that's correct. Yu-Gi-Oh we're located in a city called Pewaukee, Wisconsin. That's where, like, T.J. watt, Derek Watt, J.J. watt all grew up. Just outside of Milwaukee. It's about down Downtown. Milwaukee is like, 15 minutes out. What would you say the total wattage is on that triple? Somebody in post. I need a rim shot there, please. Thank you. Don't keep going. Keep going. Hey, we do want to talk. First, you guys got to talk about the robot thing. Bart the robot. This was actually pretty good. Was this. Whose idea was this? I feel like this was Danny's. I could be. So the whole origin of Bart, it started where, you know, we try to crush on our social media content and bring something new to the sports card hobby. And ebay knows this about us, so eBay kind of connected us with the Bart the Robot team to see if there was any overlap. And then we hit it off right away. Brian wanted him for as long as possible. Yu-Gi-Oh Brian, thank you. Yu-Gi-Oh So then from there, it kind of grew. All right, I. I need to know how many people are controlling this, first off, because I. My. My wife asked. Other people have asked, like, how is this, like, one dude, or is there multiple people controlling him? So Andre and Nick shout out to those two guys. They're a father and son, and it's only one guy. So Nick is the robot operator. He had his control panel, but he held it down and it kind of looks like a phone. Like nobody. He just blended in like crazy. And then he. He's controlling the movements as well as the voice lines. But then I was kind of feeding him voice lines to say based on what I know about some of these guys. And you guys were at Fanatics Fest with it too, right? So Bart was without our help. So he went on his own accord. So Bart has a mind of his own. I don't know how I feel about this. I know exactly how you feel. He made me bleed. I will say I. I am sending the medical bill somewhere. Was there any concern when Jesse knocked it over? So that came after. So we hadn't seen the robot fall at all until. Well, no, I was not the first one. Logan Paul, the blonde. Yu-Gi-Oh so. So he came in and kicked it and that was like. We did. He didn't ask to kick it. We had no clue he was going to. Oh, he did. Oh, my good. That's what I was wondering. I was like, they must have planned this ahead because he's just like drop kicking this thing. And he must have like known I'm not going to hurt it. Yu-Gi-Oh that was a real risk. He's got some cash, so if it broke, it totally would have broke. And I looked at the robot owner's face right when it happened and he looked like someone just, oh, God. You know, sucker punched his kid. Like his jaw was on the Fleer his face was just, oh, no. And then it slowly turned into, oh my gosh. This was the clip we came here for. Yu-Gi-Oh And then he pulls out his phone and he starts following around. And then Bart got back up. So I don't even know that guy. I guarantee he would have rather his kid gotten punched in the face to break the robot. I'm gonna tell you that right now. So I like it. That was fun content though, dude. Hats off to. Yu-Gi-Oh Like, I was talking to Brian about this and so Brian, your thing was just like, hey, do something different and make a splash for. For the sake of going viral type thing, right? Yu-Gi-Oh I mean, I was just thinking, how can Black Gold differ themselves from every other content creator that goes to the national or, you know, even look at Fanatics Fest. Like, it all started with Fanatics Fest and every content creator in their minds showed up to this thing. Not a bad thing. I. I like how every content creator did show up. I think it was good for the hobby to get everybody in one place. That's where your biggest viral Clips happen actually, if you think about it. Sure. So. So leading into the national, it was kind of a wake up call of how can Black Gold do something that is different than every other company that's in the game? There's so many people doing this content thing. How can you be different? How will somebody remember something that you did versus, hey, walking up to, you know, buying cards or buying singles or making that big buy or whatever. Walking around. It gets repetitive, dude. Like all these guys the same. Like I told Jesse, every podcast that's ever been done from that place, the biggest show we've ever been to. So we made a joke of it. Yu-Gi-Oh But it was like not every show is the biggest friggin. Not every deal is the greatest deal. I actually thought it was cool at first. Granted that was the biggest show. But I didn't think Friday, Saturday were. But that's fine. But I did, I do actually like you guys did something different at least and tried something and then you guys did some stuff with ebay live there, right? Yes, we did. Stage or what you do. Yu-Gi-Oh So we, we obviously had like the seller. They had two different areas. They had. I mean ebay's whole thing. It was massive this year. If you think about what was ebay space like last year and you look at it like this year it was actually like double the space, I think. And they had seller sweets, by the way. Yu-Gi-Oh it was cookies, water, everything. I had to sweet talk that. I don't know. She was like 20 years old. I was like, Yu-Gi-Oh I'm just going back there. I was like, what kind of cookie do you want though? And she. Wait, I don't remember. Were there cookies. I just got the peanut M M's, everything. Dude, upstairs in the freaking lounge. Oh, in the lounge upstairs right by her. After that I got her name. I was like high five every time. Gave her a cookie on the way out. High load. She gets a cookie and you can walk out with 10. Well, I sent dad back there, I gave him my bad. Gio was there with the badge, walked back there, came back with what, 50 things. It was great. Those, those massage hard massage chairs. Those were electric massage chairs. Dang it. Ebay. I didn't know that. That's awesome. It. When we were closing down our singles table on the last day, we actually saw there was a lady who took all the remaining snacks and just dumped them in her purse from the ebay seller lounge. She was ahead of everyone. She knew what she was doing. The baller move. She was playing in that Since Wednesday, she cut all the fatties. She's like, oh, you Want a cookie? $18. Catch him on the way out. All right, so other than Bart the Robot at the show, did you guys have any, like, other big mom moments that were memorable? Yu-Gi-Oh so we. We did the main stage on Friday, 4:30 to 5:30. We had tail and he was the 22nd overall prospect that was drafted into Kansas. Not drafted, but he went to Kansas. And he's going to be their starting point guard. He looks a lot like Lamelo Ball. People say he also created the 67 water. So he has the famous, like, you know, like he does that. And he went viral. And he actually, if you really look at it like, I was expecting Taylin to be, you know, like Zebra outgoing on the camera, but he was kind of a little bit of an opposite, which wasn't. Was it a bad thing? But let's make it tough though, dude. Live streams with athletes who aren't Zebra outgoing. You're sitting there like, hey, you going to talk here? Yu-Gi-Oh like, we wanted him to do the dance and he. He said he retired from the dance. Dude, you want a viral moment? You want a viral moment, Brian, you have Bart break three and a half his fingers and then he does that like a six or seven. Do I have six or seven that work? Imagine just like karate chop him. Just break. Your guys are paying some idiot Paul, who's probably a nice guy. Paul's doing nothing. I'm talking. I'm covered up with Goldin, if you have a freaking robot break that guy's hands. Live, viral, every. You want to talk about black gold? That's black and blue gold. That guy's hands are toast for a month. Paul's got Brian calling him from a phone. Poor outside somewhere. He's wearing a gray shirt, just muted in the background. Oh, my God. Maybe in the future we could get the robot to like, do a karate chop to a piece of wood or something. But knuckles. There we go. Yu-Gi-Oh All options. You guys break up there at all, by the way? Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh we. We ran the. We ran the national exclusive Topps Chrome packs, the NBA style ones. Those things were ridiculous. This year with color, did you get anything? Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh we. We hit an Ace Bailey auto out of 26. Actually personally bought it. Oh, dang. Okay. Yu-Gi-Oh sorry. You personally ripped the Cooper flight auto to 10. What? Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh The first day I was like, I have to see how these packs are. I have a weird feeling since it's like EQL this year. It wasn't like, Yu-Gi-Oh it wasn't like, bring all your top series one and rip them open and then get as many as you can. Bring the whole team. That's what I usually do because we're gonna break them on our live stream. But this year they're like, sign up for the EQL and maybe we'll pick you up. And so we got them the first day, and then I first. First NBA box. I hit a black Refractor auto out of 10. Cooper flag auto. I was like, stupid. Are you selling it or keeping it? So I actually owed somebody for a whole bunch of cases, and he just took $6,000 off of the case. So he bought it for 6,000? Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh Okay. That's not bad. I was gonna ask you too. We were just talking about Topps Chrome update that releases today. You guys are huge breakers. Obviously, I'm. We're small potato, small peanuts over. What are you wanting to say right now? I'm hear P and an N in the plural sound. P. Yes. Here's my thing. I don't hate the product. I don't like that almost nobody's gonna have access to it. Like, the pricing, Dude Delight cases are like 25,000 bucks. I don't mind because it's just like, one of a few. You've had a ton of stuff come out already if you want to chase Cooper. But I am curious. Like, as a big company, I'm guessing you guys are ripping a ton of this, right? Yu-Gi-Oh I mean, we're ripping whatever we were given for our, like, allocation. It wasn't. It was actually not as much as you would think people would be like, oh, black gold's gonna have tons of this product. No, it's not necessarily how this one came out to be, which was a little weird. Pygs or what are you doing? Personals. PYT's. We just run them at a dollar. I mean, if you want to. If you want to buy a personal, we'll. We'll sell you a personal. If you want to come in and buy it for that price, which I don't know how many people are going to want to pay that price. Crazy. My breakers are already saying, like, dude, these pricing, it's out of control. Yu-Gi-Oh it's like you're chasing, like, if you had Cooper Flag, great. But I feel like 99.99 except for this jelly idiot we just talked about. Otherwise, you're going to get smoked on that. Like, if you're chasing Cooper Flag. I mean, when the. When the one of one gets Hit does. Doesn't this product crash? Okay, I will push back on that. Here's my only thing. The Ohtani just got pulled out of Topps Chrome, dude. Topps Chrome Baseball has not come down at all. At all. Like, that stuff is still flying off the shelf and the price has not moved. I don't know. I think so many people are clueless, honestly. And that's what I think a lot of people were expecting. When Topps Chrome Basketball came out, there was like, wince. The Zebra auto and the Zebra for Cooper had been hit. I thought like, oh, this is going to tank. And it. No, I mean, that's the thing. There's actually like some other decent rookies in that class. So. By the way, I. I don't. I got messaged this last night. I don't know if you guys have heard anything about this. I would want to do a little bit more digging, but they said that the Breakers Delight cases of update you don't have or the odds up. The odds sheet got updated, so it does not show that you can hit that Cooper flag in Breaker's Delight. Does that sound. Debut patch auto are not available in Breakers Delight and I'm double checking as we speak. Let me just see rep right now. Hang on. Yu-Gi-Oh that's not good. That's not good. I need to scrap all this. Get Paul in here right now. Pr. So. All right. So here we go. Yu-Gi-Oh I'm about to call Paul right now. Tell him to walk over. Yu-Gi-Oh maybe. I'm hoping he. Because apparently there was a different one up. Oh, this is the one that was up there previously. Let me go to the site and see what's up there. Now I'm hoping because the one that's previously did have it on there, but I'm seeing. So you're saying that there's. There's dashes on the odd chief making it so that you can. You literally cannot hit that card in. In Breaker still. We're gonna find out. I. I don't want to say it for. For sure until we have confirmed, but. Yu-Gi-Oh and Mike's gonna message the rep. But that's what. Someone had reached out to me and told me that, and I was just like. That was mentioned in the Facebook group today too. Oh, you saw someone else say it? Yu-Gi-Oh Oh, I don't like that. We'll see what they say. All right, I'm gonna take a look here. Yu-Gi-Oh you know, this happened a few years back. I forget what product exactly it was, but I did reach out to the rep and he Told me if it's on the odd sheet, it's real. So there's no, there's no debating it. Okay, well let's see what the. And right now the odd sheet says you cannot pull them. Well, I just now did. All right, so here's the one thing right now. Current so debut. It shows NBA debut patch autographs. It's in hobby, it's in jumbo. This shows delight. Okay, this shows. It does. I mean it's not in Zebra but it's not going to be in Zebra That's fine. Hey, can I, can I ask a question while you're doing that? Yep. Hey, so other question for you guys too. Again, big breakers. You also have the shop, the retail locations. Do you guys have exposure to every. You guys are exposing yourselves to all angles of the hobby, as they would say. I am curious. Football we just talked about a little bit. In general, football has been our number two sport. Like most of our guys who do baseball also do football. What do you guys think of this upcoming product? Like, it's not first year Chrome coming back. It's not first year license. You have a Zebra weak class. What is like your take as we start to lean into football season? I mean I think that it's going to be the same as all other years. I mean there's always been speculation on any product. Think about, think about a different product that had speculation. Did it, did it go? Did it do well? A major sport like this, like football, there's in my opinion there's just no chance that there's Fleer There's always a new hottest player that's evolving in the league and there's always going to be that new hottest card that hits the market and everybody does not have it. There's going to be hype no matter what, especially in the market that we're in right now, in my opinion. Now does it hurt? Does it suck that there's not a good player in it? Yu-Gi-Oh but that's not going to hurt in my opinion. The product and how much people want it. Because with every new product comes new cards and people chasing. Okay, Danny, where are you at on that? Well, I see. I mean I'm thinking back to, you know, Chrome Football and Jackson Dart being a big chase even after the season. I feel like those players markets have been seeming to hold like Jackson darts, Pluto for 30k. I think that's like massive and it's still, you know, that was a later release than Chrome Football and it was still had that high price tag. So I think you know, someone like Mendoza might be able to carry the product and guys pop up. Like, I think Mendoza will be good. But Yu-Gi-Oh I do hope we get some of the surrounding cat, because I am worried a little bit about the lag. Like, dude, I think guys, there could have been no rookies last year. I think people would have been all over 20, 25. Chrome them. Like, the license returns. Like, we're all about it, but. Right. Did you. Yu-Gi-Oh it actually seems to be good in the sense of the old. Odd sheet showed that it was like 1 in over 4000 packs to pull a debut patch, and now the new one shows one in 1500. So I'd say, if anything, the odds have got better on it. By the way, we just did said. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh okay, good. Confirmed from that. Yu-Gi-Oh Okay. I don't know how did that rumor get stirred? Because the data seems pretty set there. That's weird. All right, well, at least that's good to know on this product. What product do you guys break the most of? Like basketball, football, baseball, something like that? We break everything. So we have literally three, four, five streams running at all times. One stream or two streams are 24, seven. We're literally. We have a stream running football right now, basketball right now, baseball right now. We have soccer running right now. We had Disney Zebra running yesterday. Where's your. Where's your non. Sport? Yu-Gi-Oh we have. We have Marvel. I mean, Jesse, this is perfect. Right up your alley. So we have a market for everything. All right. Anything and everything. And we made sure. I. I made sure when I was building this that we would be included in every single new release of every single product. And if you're not doing that as a breaker, honestly, like, that should be a little worrisome because there's other breakers that can do everything. Brian, would you say, like, baseball's our main driver? Like, that's how you started with baseball. Right. And I feel like our baseball rooms are always pretty loaded. Yu-Gi-Oh I started this, all this whole thing doing baseball. And if you guys remember, if you go way back back on Whatnot, backyard wasn't ripping baseball. They were ripping football and basketball. Pole wax, football and basketball. I mean, literally every single one of the big companies was ripping football and basketball, but not baseball. Yu-Gi-Oh Now you guys. I remember you guys being baseball. Do you remember them on Card Shop? Some of the early sellers on Card Shop Live, by the way. Back then, Brian was like, him and like, one other guy was sorting and shipping. That's what blows my mind. No shop, no 20 or 30. However, many employees, tens and tens of million dollars less in sales. I'm curious. Yu-Gi-Oh What's like again, you have the shop now. You've got what, you have like 30 employees, 25 employees. I don't. 36 full time employees. 36. And we just hired three new full time streamers. Yes. So we're, we're inching in at 40 now and we have 45 interviews for live streamers. This like from right here till next week, Friday. That's crazy. What's been the biggest thing for you going like from again? Let's go from five years to now. What would you say the biggest challenge in growing the business to where it is today? I mean, obviously there's just like a constant fight for finding product. There's a constant fight for finding new customer relationships to, you know, know, be able to run your live stream. And, and don't get me right, like, don't get me wrong, I do lose. So if everybody thinks a breaking company, oh, they're one-of-one one-of-one one-of-one No, you have to fight. You have to, you have to build it. So take your losses and you take your wins and they all, I. You just keep on working your hardest and it'll all work out. You know what I'm saying? So everything kind of just fits together like a little puzzle in the end and keep your head up, work your hardest every day. Content has been something that from back then I didn't have content, if you really think about it. Yu-Gi-Oh My vision was, hey, we need to hire a full time person. But it needs to be the right full time person. Danny kind of walked right in here. He just actually walked right on in. I didn't even call him for an interview. Guy shows up at like, doesn't even work in the morning. It's like Kramer. He just keeps showing up. And then when you fire him, he's like, this is difficult. I don't even. Yu-Gi-Oh I literally. That's Cody, who's my general manager. I was like, cody, I'm not, not taking in another walk in for an interview. You know how many people have come in? And I'm like, this is wasting my time. So Danny comes in and I start hearing him talking. He's like, Yu-Gi-Oh I've seen. I've had like a million views on this and a million views on this. And I'm like, jesus, a million views. Did you verify any of those numbers, Brian? That's my only question. Yu-Gi-Oh he started whipping out his phone and showing My House Instagram online. It was 12 million. Let's let's clear. The error. It was 12 million, not 1 million. 12's pretty good. 12's pretty good. What would anything you would do different? Because, I mean, here's what's crazy is like what we were just saying about Brian being himself and another guy. And now he's got, however, 40 full time employees. It's only been, what is that, three years, four years or something, if that, like, is there anything you would have changed in that small window? I mean, there's. There's probably a list, a handful of things that I would have changed. All right. I'm not perfect in any way. My intensity. Some people get rubbed from my intensity the wrong way. Even though my intensity equals passion. You know this. I'm a real collector. And there's a lot of confusion out there that. Oh, his intensity. I don't know if I like that, but something feels fake. He's kind of a psycho in a good way, though. Yu-Gi-Oh I always say, Brian, why am I not getting more of this? Why am I not getting more of that? This doesn't equal that. And I'm not sure how to tell you, and I will tell you this every time I see you, because that's truly what I believe. It's not because I don't like you. It's because if you saw the operation and what I'm running, we should just get more. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh I got you. Well, that is cool. And so I. Yu-Gi-Oh that's where. Yu-Gi-Oh and. And I guess that's one thing I need to get like head massages or something where my eyebrows don't look so furious. I was gonna say even the look. Now he's got the shaved head with the mustache and the eyebrows dancing. He's young. Brian is mad right now at us for no reason. I've always liked Brian. He's never given me like. I think if I never talked to him, I would. I could see it. But once you talk to him, he like, he's a very nice, kind person. Yu-Gi-Oh well, hey, dude. Yu-Gi-Oh I'm very kind. Yu-Gi-Oh very. I mean it though, dude. It's been Zebra impressive to see the growth over five years. I love that you guys are like throwing all your effort. Not all, but throwing a lot of effort into content. I do feel like content in the space gets boring. Breakers are just yelling about hits. Like, the robot thing is totally out of the box. You get Danny and the other guy not be named anymore. Talk about Paul. Yu-Gi-Oh I just take it easy. Thinking about that was Paul, by the way. Paul. Blue Ice our software Engineer. We have a lot of big things coming with our website and like, consignment that mixes with ebay very nicely. Things that differentiate Black Gold from everybody else, honestly. So that's still. He's still working on horizontal version? Yu-Gi-Oh we're still working on that part, but we'll get there. Hey, so. So last thing. Where can people find Black Goldin Like, people hear this obviously. Where do they go to find you guys? Breaking. Yu-Gi-Oh So we are right now breaking on ebay live Black Gold sports cards. We're on Instagram at Black Gold Sports Cards. We have a shop in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. 2327 Silvernail Road, and that's just outside of Milwaukee. You guys can find us on. I mean, honestly, right now we are just on ebay and focusing our attention there, but that doesn't mean that we one-of-one be ever on any other platforms in the future. So you guys can find us everywhere. All the social medias. Okay, cool. All the social medias. Just like every other company. Sports cars, anywhere you want to find him. Awesome. Perfect. Absolutely. Well, hey, guys, like I said, I appreciate you having me. Heck. Heck Yu-Gi-Oh man. We appreciate the time. Thanks for the Bart clips. We're going to make Jesse famous and go viral. So let's go. Amazing. All right, so there you go. That was Black Gold again. It's just a cool story. They sell tens and tens of millions dollars worth of product. And we knew him when he was struggling to fill Panini One in 2022 on our app. That was a Fleer It does blow my mind, honestly, every time I think about, like, how big he's gotten. 36 employees is freaking nuts. Like, that's just a lot of people. Hey, I do want to address one quick thing. I got a comment on this. It was my video about the Bobby or thing. I was trying to buy a Bob, Bobby or Rookie. Everyone was just crazy overpriced. We had some stupid people in the comments, as we always do, but one dude was not trolling. He literally said like, hey, I get your point, but I'm asking seriously, how do comps go up if everybody just comps the card and you're just paying that or less? Like, how does a price a card have go up in price? Sure. So that was Val. So I'm gonna make this Zebra quick, number one valid reason reasoning to ask that question. So in general, something happens with the person, dude comes out, gets a. George Lombard just got a promotion. His cards will go up. That's one thing. The guy stinks. His cards will Go down, he does something on the field. So you've got hype news. Like with Lombard, a promotion, you've got guys who actually do something on the field that makes them more. More appealing to people. The goats and stuff like that, though. So sure, some cards can just go up, but like with the Bobby or card, you look at his market, it hasn't moved in years. That's not true. Hasn't moved in about a year. It's not. I'm not going to be the first guy to say, hey, I think this could be worth X in two years. I'll pay that today. So I could have missed the boat. Maybe the next comp comes out and it's higher. But the way goat comps generally go, there's not really any rhyme or reason. They just all of it. It's like a domino. The Griffey starts selling. I would say other factors would just be to include, like, if people start grading more of them, if they were to find them. But more than likely, if it's an old one, like as old as this. Yu-Gi-Oh You're not just going to stumble across a bunch of those. Right. So really what happens is like, hey, all of a sudden you start to see other cards in the player's market move. A set gains popularity, by the way. Or to your point, if the goat market increases altogether. But. And that's what I'm talking. So even there, though. So why would it increase? You have established comps. You just get people that come in, they want to make a show about buying new stuff or guys like myself get away from some of the new stuff for a while to buy the Griffey. Then the rationale is, hey, I bought a Griffey. I also love Jordan. I'm going to get Jordan. Well, I liked Bird. I'm going to get Bird. Well, I want the one hockey guy guy. Well, it's supply and demand, too. The more that people come into this hobby, the less Bobby ores that are going to be out there and available. Yu-Gi-Oh but again, I think it's a valid point. I just don't want to be the one that sets the next comp at 50% higher than it was. Sure. And I even made the point in the video. It's a $4,000 card. The guy said 4, 500 because it's kind of a nice copy and I'm in person. What was the grade? I don't even remember. It was a three or four. But I was just looking. That was my point. So anyways, there you go. Just want to at least address it. We've got some interviews. This is going to kind of be the last stuff from the national. There's some evergreen stuff but this is like the last timely national stuff for the podcast on the. If you guys gonna go nuts. Yu-Gi-Oh If you guys are interested in more of the content. We did a lot of stuff. In fact tomorrow's episode on Friday will be a lot of fun because we're gonna. We'll have. Well Papa Gio is going to be in there. Open up mobster cards with BJ Kroger. We'll have. Oh I can't remember a couple interviews. So we had like the youngest shop owner, brand new shop owner I could find and probably so a 19 year old kid and a. And a 60 year old woman who just retired from the. Yu-Gi-Oh Navy. Both open shops. That was cool. That's really cool. I think we've got the round table as well where you hosted that Doug Al Army Alex and then Alex from Clever Cuban Little Alex and big Alex. Yu-Gi-Oh we had them. That was a lot of fun and Yu-Gi-Oh So it'll be. If you guys want to continue to get more of this content for the podcast, we're going to kind of be moving forward but YouTube you can watch and listen to all of this stuff. Last thing. Last thing too before we throw it to one spots we haven't mentioned Arena Club. If you're looking to get into sport card repacks or non sport now they have TCG. They have everything. You can use the code SCN. SCN gets you the 20 off of 1010 I believe. Type in SCN and see what happens. We've. We have yet to actually ever get that ad read exactly right where we knew what it was. And the code effort. I will say though the new thing which I'm gonna buy today I'm. If you saw me at the nationals, my new obsession. I'm all into freaking watches. So they have the Series 1 Twilight. Series 1 Twilight are a thousand bucks a box for watches. Series one Noir are four grand and then you've got the series one Eclipse. So which one are you buying? What? Go ahead and throw it. Nope, you don't. Okay. Always accused. Nothing too. What's the word? Jerk. No. Loser. Handsome. I've always said that. But Yu-Gi-Oh if you're into cards, that's the thing. But the amount of crossover me and old man were talking about this. The amount of crossover of watches and cards, there's something on the desk I can't care for. It was pretty cool to see So I actually kind of like that they've done it. So repacks are your thing. Digital. You can use a marketplace. Yu-Gi-Oh Use the code. Instant access. It's pretty cool. The magical packs for the non sporters out there. Those are the magical packs. Actually, I've said it before and I say it again, it was amazing the amount of high end Disney stuff in there because it was 24 and 23 and that stuff is blown up and they didn't know you're blown up. Yu-Gi-Oh I wish your mic would blow up in your face. So let's throw it over back to back. We're gonna do the first thing we did, which was I got to do the interview with Gary Vee and Logan Paul up on stage. It was about. It started out as tcg, but it just evolved into a little bit more of collecting in general. So we're going to throw to a clip of that right now. So I've been watching a few of your weekly vlogs. I appreciate you being so transparent with what you've been collecting. I've seen a lot of Pokemon as of recently and I know Gary, you obviously have been big into be friends. But. But outside of those two TCG collectibles, what are their things? TCG or not that are you focused on collecting? Right now I'm really into Game Warren Game News memorabilia. I think it's. I think it's kind of undervalued at the moment. Not a sport guy you're still in. So I'm like, I'm like, I'm a casual fan. You know, when I injured my tricep funny enough, I started watching more sports. Like I had some time to watch more sports and I think I'm gonna get into it more because I mean the market's insane. Also I played sports growing. Like I like watching sports. I like playing sports. So I'll get into it. But Yu-Gi-Oh Game Warren sports. Best in class grails, Kobe LeBron, Jordan Curry jerseys. I have one-of-one Gretzky's final championship Game Hockey stick, which I thought was so cool. But Yu-Gi-Oh I think, I think Game Warren is still undervalued. Okay. Gary. It's so fun to be with such a cool wrestler on stage. I've been doubling down and I've been collecting for over a decade. Vintage wrestling cards. So hand Cut. Andre the giant rookie. The 82 series, which has Hogan and Fleer and Iron Sheiks Rookie. So vintage wrestling. And then we talked about this. The number one thing I did when I got here was looked for 1935 Mickey Mouse Gum Ink rookie card and 1940 Superman Gum Inc. I think vintage fictional. I, I will be on this hill for a while. 1966 Donruss. Is the 86, 87 Fleer basketball fictional? It's got Spider Man, Thor, Captain America. Oh, you know what? I, I actually bought one of those because you told me that was probably, that was probably the last collectible like advice you gave me. Fictional characters, I'm crazy on all that. And even some of the modern stuff, Shrek, you know, Buzz Lightyear, like, I, I just think Transformers, my best friend Brandon out there, I gotta get him an Optimus prime rookie card. I think 60s, 70s, 80s, fictional, even 30s, 40s, Felix the cat, Papa Smurf, Kermit the Frog. I don't think this world realizes that the Comic Con community is starting to bleed into cards. I think it is on people's radar here that Marvel and Disney and Star wars modern cards are doing well because of Topps, Chrome and Zebra I think there's a lot of misunderstanding of supply and demand of the original rookie cards of these characters. So, you know, I'm very bullish on that. As influencers, as public figures, what's your responsibility in the collectible space for talking up a card and the role that that then plays on the rest of those listeners to go out and buy it or not buy it, because obviously that could swing markets very greatly with your voices less than five years ago. The best thing going on here by far is that people have become dramatically more disciplined. And when a human being that has any amount of followers, whether it's a lot like him or somebody with a thousand over here, people are making many more decisions for themselves. People are taking far less high risk. People are being much more disciplined. There's a reason you're seeing Jordan and Kobe and LeBron and Mantle do so well. People are looking to be more investor versus Hyper I mean, I could speak for myself. It's been about five years since I've even posted a specific card because I have no interest in people making up stories of what I'm doing or not doing. So now I talk more in generalizations, like I just did fictional characters instead of, you know. But even if I tomorrow started posting again about a specific card I like, I know for fact because I watch everything, the market would move less than it did Pre Covid in 18 and 19 because the market has got dramatically smarter, more disciplined. And I think that's very healthy for the hobby. And I'm proud of the collective. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh you're right, the collector has gotten smarter, which is great. I take the exact opposite approach. I am so specific about what I'm buying because for me, I don't. I don't view it. I'm aware that what I show, what I do, what I say, and the stories I tell can have a ripple effect about how people feel about cards, and then perhaps money follows. But for me, I feel like what I'm ultimately trying to do is tell a story about a thing that I find fascinating, and it doesn't come from a place of, like, what, oh, sit down. Like, what can we talk about today? No, I get obsessed, like, clinically sickening obsessed with these quests that I go on. And I do that because, like, a story captivates me. I like to consider myself a storyteller. So by telling those stories, all I'm really doing is maybe, like, taking a big spotlight and shining it on, like, a dark part of the. Of the room. And so while I'm aware that, yes, there may be a ripple effect there, I don't view it as, like, a responsibility in the sense of, like, man, should I not tell this story because people are gonna go buy these cards? No, man, this. This is a story that deserves to be told. I mean, it's also, like, at some level, I have a lot of empathy for that. Like, we've got to get into a place in society around accountability. Like, I see unlimited things in my social media feed telling me to do many different things. But I'm a big enough boy to make my own decisions, right? For example, my wife would kill you guys for drinking this water out of a plastic bottle. Oh, no way. She would say, that is a disaster. Are you responsible for sipping out of this water, influencing them? And so I know I'm being a little facetious, but what I would say is a million people are saying a million things all the time. I think one of the worst things that's happening in society is that a lot of people are making their judgment based on another person. I think it's worse than politics, and I think it's really time that everyone, man's and woman's, up a little bit and own their own actions. If you decide to buy something because you think Logan is promoting it and you catch the wrong side of the cycle, where does his or your responsibility stop and start? And I think that we need to grow up a little bit in society. Realize you're a big boy and you can decide if you want to do something or not. And you're thrilled when you catch the rock fight cycle of it and you make a buck, but then you're Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh when you don't. And I think that hypocrisy is complicated. All right. There you go. That was a lot of fun. I'm not gonna lie to you. I've told this before. It was a little awkward with Logan at first. He's a tall guy. I don't know if I really realized that at first. He's, like, as tall as he. Really? Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh And. But he's got. He's got a guy. A bodyguard with him. I saw the arm, too. He's taller than me, and I mean, like, oh, Yu-Gi-Oh a good bit taller than me. And he is intimidating. Like, he's like, why don't you. Dude, I need you to back up, because I am getting uncomfortable. Yu-Gi-Oh he's an adult dressed as Buzz Lightyear. Sir Creep Star command has issued me to be right here. Thank you very much. I was like, sir, why are you sweating profusely? Well, just as a child's play thing, but we were all uncle. That guy wasn't even his bodyguard. We were all uncomfortable. Yu-Gi-Oh it was a. It was a weird thing. You should have brought me, dude. I would have intimidated him. Him. Yu-Gi-Oh I don't know. Well, you didn't spend any time at the national. It's fine. That's a true we. I just posted the pictures of us. Thank you. All right, You're. You've got a thing. Highlight for me for the national was the Gronk thing. We got to spend, like, 15, 20 minutes when we rip packs like a. He signed the one card. Eli sucks and signed it. And as we. She was rushing us out of the. The green room at the end. I. I'm almost positive I left that card in the table there. I've got a couple autograph cards we're going to use for our ebay live shows, but we got, like, 15 minutes with Gronk, courtesy of those guys, which was freaking awesome. Awesome. We'll play that for you now. Are we ripping a couple packs? Yu-Gi-Oh We doing this now. Well, we can do it now no matter what. By the way. Just a quick fan girl. Huge Boston guy, born and raised. So you and Brady. Freaking man crushes. A step below my perversion level for you. Thank you, man. I just want to make you uncomfortable sitting next to me, so I feel you're making me so comfortable. And you got such a man crush on me. Like, I'm not gonna ask you. Will you give me a shoulder massage? My shoulders. You want to. Oh, I need. I need to loosen up a little. Compare. Oh, my God. Yu-Gi-Oh those are tiny. Show yours. You got tiny hands. Hands. Dude, let it. Okay. Screw you. We're just on ebay. Live for an hour straight, man. I probably ripped about a whole box of these. I heard literally like 20 packs. A Brady rookie. Yu-Gi-Oh Brady rookie card signed auto. It's worth about $100,000 and they're going right now to get a PSA graded. Dude, that's freaking ripped it a lot. We ripped about 20 of these. And then I need to rip one all myself. And I. I ripped about like, like 12 of those packs, which was. Which was great. So I'm on fire right now. I am curious. We've been buying a ton of stuff. Buying. To sell on ebay live. You gotta buy any active football player right now to sell. Who'd you buy? Oh, active football player. Oh, that's a good one. Active guy. I would buy. Oh, I want to buy someone that's like. Has a. Has a low stock right now. Yu-Gi-Oh Upside. Oh, I would say, man, maybe like a quarterback that hasn't one-of-one yet, but has. Has a great possibility to one-of-one Okay, okay. Oh, you know, like momes already has all those Zebra Bowls like ships. Yu-Gi-Oh Josh Allen. Yu-Gi-Oh No, no, it hasn't. No, no, he hasn't one-of-one yet though, right? Oh, I'll go with. Okay. I'll go with. You know, the New England quarterback, Drake May. I'm gonna stay in house. Drake May. I mean, his. The ship hasn't sailed yet. I would say his card's probably, you know, medium price right now and has a lot of room to improve and grow. Absolutely. And they got some savage weapons and sh. Exactly. And he got so v. Balls out, you know, throws like 30 plus touchdowns. I'm telling you, his cards are. Are. Are just going up in value. I like it. How about retired? Same question. Retired guy you're buying. Wait. And it has upside still. one-of-one Upside. Just something is safe. No, Brady. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh No Brady. Yu-Gi-Oh Oh, ma'. Am. Oh, that. That's a solid question right there. I'm going to go with my. My. My favorite, you know, tight end. You know, growing up. I just love the way that he played the game. And he was just such a maniac as well. That's why I loved him. Jeremy. Shocking, really. Yu-Gi-Oh He's a one of one and that's why I want a one of one card of him. I would have loved to have seen him play in the passing era. I know. He was early 2002, I think. Draft. But, dude, him playing when you guys played, I think he was kind of like. So do you ever look at a guy like, man, that's kind of. You emulated his style? You kind of took. Exactly, man. I love everything about him. And my favorite story about him is when he got carried out of the pool party in Vegas and in at the Hard Rock. I remember that. That was, like, when the pool party started becoming big. I was in college. It was my freshman or sophomore year. I read the story, and I literally showed the article to my brother. I said, this is who I want to be. I want to be carried out of a pool party. Like Jeremy Shockey. Perfect. Yu-Gi-Oh So that dream did occur. I wanted to be a beast like him on the field and off the field, and that's who I looked up to. And, you know, and I appreciate his service because without him, man, I wouldn't have been inspired to be, you know, to be as great as I became, because. Because on the field and off the field, because what he did, he was a legend. I literally said that I want to be like this guy. I want to get carried out of the party, which I have before. Which I have. That's a big carry. Yes. Hey, can I get you to mess with one of these? Just mix it up a little. Oh, I got Brian cushion. I used to face, you know, face him at usc and when he was on Helmet Psycho. Yu-Gi-Oh You didn't want to get in his way. It was a guy I wouldn't want to mess with on the field. Dude, he's headbutting dudes with health. He was a sort of half out there. Yu-Gi-Oh he was headbutting people. People. I remember reading a story about him is that he liked to keep his helmet loose because then it would. It would. Like, when he would get hit, his helmet would come down and hit his nose, and it would hurt a lot, and it would piss him off, and then he would get more anger, and then he would play harder and play faster and play better. Like, that's a psychopath. You have, like, a bloody nose, and you just love it because you're taking the pain. It just elevates your game to another level. I mean, it's true. Like, when I got, you know, big. When I took big hits, it. It hurt. Like, it kind of elevated you to another level. Like, when you get anger out there on the field, it make. It makes you the best possible player you need to be. So I respect that. I respect, you know, keeping that helmet loose to have it come down. It basically break your nose. But he was a maniac. Oh, Antonio Gates, hall of Famer. Yu-Gi-Oh sure. What did Antonio Gates do better than you? Route runner. Okay. Yu-Gi-Oh he's a better route runner. Eli Mannings. We can throw that away. Let's just trash that. Yu-Gi-Oh throw it up. Out. Can you just sign that actually suck Eli, and we'll sell this on ebay. Yu-Gi-Oh let's do that. Let's do that. Suck it, Eli. Yu-Gi-Oh I've never hated a person in my life more that I haven't met before than Eli Manning. Probably a great dude, but let me tell you, Eli and Bowman, they're. They're recipes, man. I love them. I love them, actually. The loss versus Eli Manning. The Zebra bowl in 2012 in Indy, like the second time the Giants beat the people. Like the lost and Sting as much after I met Eli because he was such a great dude, really. But he still sucks. Yu-Gi-Oh suck it. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh Sucks, Eli. Absolutely. Absolutely. I wrote sucks, Eli. All this stuff. 2010 rookie premiere. Coach Belichick was so pissed by. You're going to the rookie premiere. You're missing practice. Like, I don't think you should go. I still went though, because, like, my agent was like, you know, egging me on the go because it's a big payday, you know, It's a nice little payday. And NFL loves it too, because gets the rookies out there. But Bill didn't like the rookie premiere. Hey, is there a bigger sham in sport sports as Belichick not making the hall of fame? That's a freaking joke. Yu-Gi-Oh that definitely a joke. Who gets in then? What happened to him? And just don't let coaches in. I mean, Andy Reid's a first ballot, but is he a first ballot? Not anymore, dude. Exactly. It was nonsense, bro, because horse cards, offense. What? It was. Yu-Gi-Oh Oh, my gosh. I didn't even see that either. Here, top. Hold on. We got a number card and we got like a four banger. Tim Tebow, Demarius Thomas, Dez Bryant and Sam Bradford. Did you really four banger, dude. That's a four way right there, dude. Hey, that was some nonsense. 400 way. Now this is. Tim Tebow has the most cult like following in the hobby. Like for a guy whose career was not like crazy long, that dude has so much hobby love. Yes. There's no doubt about everyone loves Tim Tebow. And just his college career alone is going to keep his fan base going forever. Nice. Yu-Gi-Oh One of the best college players to ever play biggest Hit of your career that you remember sustaining, because I got one. As a fan, obviously, we're stubborn. We're on the sidelines. There's one that stands out to me. I'm like, dude, Karonk is. Well, I'll tell you mine, and you tell me yours. All right. I was going up to Seamless. It was why I. I missed the Zebra bowl versus Atlanta Falcons that year, 28 to 3. But I had a great year, you know, and then I unfortunately got hurt. Like week 10 or 12. I went up to seam versus Seattle. I was looking at the ball. Earl Tyro, full, full speed. He's just a. He's a missile. He's a Tribute and he's a. Freaking me out. Broke my back, punctured my lung, bleeding all over the place out of my mouth, but had to get back surgery. But that was the hardest hit I have ever sustained. So I wasn't looking. So it freaking hurt. Yu-Gi-Oh How about you, dude? That was the one hit, dude, him. That hit when he lowered just because of the height. It's like a little dude, like me hitting you, him and freaking Cam. It hurt. I was having a heck of a year that year, too, by the way. I think you've told us before. You going to Tampa Bay, how did that happen? Yu-Gi-Oh it was one of the best, you know, moves of my career. There's no doubt about that. But I feel. I feel like, you know, I felt like if I had, you know, a little bit more in the tank, I was going to come back and play football again after. After that year off and, like, everything had aligned perfectly, and everything really did align perfectly as a team, you know, down. Down in Florida. I love Florida. You know, I love putting a T shirt on and, you know, and shorts and sandals and just going about my day. I don't have to worry about the snow or anything and love being on the beach, love the sun. So Tampa was a great spot. Everything just fit. You know, you check. You know, check the boxes. My mom lived two hours away, and the team, they had a solid team. Brady went down there with the connection. So it just all happened because everything aligned perfectly. I heard, though, you almost got traded to the truck. Detroit. I did actually get traded, but that was going into my last year in New England, I think, 2017 to 2018. I was kind of being a little douchebag a little bit. Bill would try to get a hold of me. I wouldn't answer it. So then he just traded. Traded me to. To the Detroit Lions to kind of get my Attention, like, oh, you don't want to answer my call? Okay, we'll trade you. And then when I. He traded me, I was like, can't trade me. I'm done playing the game of football. And that's how I asked to trade. And it wasn't too. Because it was to Detroit. I was just. Didn't want to go anywhere and just had to get on the same page. So then we one-of-one a Zebra bowl my last year in New England. So it was. It was the best idea. It's the best thing that ever happened. Passing the trade and then went to Tampa and one-of-one D. If you were on the team next year, I wonder if you guys repeat with Brady. I went to four Zebra Bowls in a row in my career. Three in a row in New England. Lost that middle one versus Philadelphia, then took a year off and then went to the Zebra bowl again when I came back. So my four seasons in a row, oh, I went to the Zebra Bowl. Three out of four wins. Three out of four wins. Correct. Holy. Holy. All right, so there you go. There's your interviews. A couple things, like I said, kind of wraps up our national week. Tomorrow will be a one off pod. Like the best of all the stuff you haven't heard here yet. And then YouTube stuff coming out for the next week or two. Honestly, the thing I'm looking forward to most is watching Papa Gio open those mobster cards because he's telling stories. What's. What's the percentage of guys you knew in there when they came out? And also, are you concerned at all about the stories you told? Oh, they're all dead. Dead. Do you. Do we need to edit any of the stories? Like, you're not gonna eliminate yourself, right? How many of those? I just don't want them to get in trouble, percentage wise. Did you know? 70. Oh, you do? 70. How many of those guys are dead? Oh, they're all dead. Yu-Gi-Oh Okay. All right. Okay. That's funny. Yu-Gi-Oh So I'm very interested, actually to watch that video. And then starting next week, so all the lighting, everything else will be done. We're gonna mess with the cameras a little bit more. I think you're gonna start seeing. We had kind of talked Monday be a little bit more of like the elevated. We're gonna try to make Monday almost like a studio show show, so. Which we're in a studio all the time, so. Yu-Gi-Oh but the other studio sucks. We haven't told them. We're giving them our note. If you're listening from Hunt Club, here's our notice. We're leaving in two weeks. If you're in the Nashville area and want to buy a ton of podcast equipment. Oh, dirt cheap, actually. So, Yu-Gi-Oh if anybody. Seriously, the whole package come in, so audio and video. We can hook you up with a love seat that's never been sat on. So maybe once. Like, we never use that furniture. That's true. It's been using here more than. And it's still over there. Serious though, if you're anywhere in the Nashville area and want a whole setup, mics, camera. I can't. We're bringing headphones because I don't need your buddy Ray sweating on my ears. Fair enough. We'll bring those. But other than that. Yu-Gi-Oh next week I think you'll start to see kind of the new thing. Have a little bit more. Well, whatever. We'll save for next week, but should be fun. So tomorrow, best of next Monday, Thursday, as normal. There you go. That's your show. First one from the studio. It's been a Pulsar Michael. Goodbye, Sam.
