I think Dan heard a little bit. Yeah. But you know what? I will pretend like this is the first time I'm hearing the story. All right. Just to make it, make it good content and good podcast. All right. So, yes, I know more. So we were going to head to Valley Fair. We thought it might be kind of hard to park. So let's just do our first way mo and it's. It was. If you don't know what a Waymo is, it's a driverless car. So very popular here in the Bay Area, starting to expand in other places. But we thought, hey, this is the first time us as a family, me being in my 40s and my kids being 11 and 8, we get to experience something together for the first time in our lives. Right. So you look at it that way, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's like we, you know, we've. I've listened to music before. My kids listen to music. I played baseball before they play. This is, we're experiencing this together for the first time. So it winds up being $20. The car comes, parks a little awkwardly across the street and we get in. It's. It's a Jaguar, it's electric based Jaguar car. And it's a little tight in the back for them 3. I'm in the front and immediately gives you instructions on the screen of how it's going to go. You can connect your Spotify change, the climate control, yada, yada, yada. Car's. It's going fine. We're like, this is kind of cool. Even though my kids and my wife are a little bit jammed in the back and you know they're not. Could you sit in the driver's seat if you wanted to? I don't know. That was a good. That's a good question. Okay, go ahead. That's a good question. That's. It's the only thing I was thinking of. When you're set, I'm like, well, what if you want to sit in the. Fat. In the. In the. In the driver's side. Right, Right. Then it's like, I. I don't know. Maybe I'll try it next time. Actually, I don't know if I'm going to get ano again after this story, but. So I put Valley Fair. A blanket. Put Valley Fair. I didn't put a specific spot. So it turns in to Valley Fair and it comes to an intersection. And if you're not from the Bay Area, I have to explain this to you. It pulls up to an intersection. There's about 10 cars behind me. And it can go left or right, but it decides to say, your. Your. Your ride is over. I'm like, we're like in the middle of an intersection here in the parking lot. So it gives me the option to say, do not do this here, right on the screen. Like, find another place. Right? So I'm like, all right, cool. So I press that button. It then drives. It gets out of the parking lot, goes across the street. It's now making a U turn by Santana Row. And I'm like, no, no, no. I just need to get out now at this point, makes a U turn, goes down another side street. And at this point, I'm like, I don't know if we're gonna get out of this thing. Everybody's kind of having anxiety in the car now. So there's a call support button. Guy picks up right away and he's like, what's the issue? We're like, we can't get out. He's all, well, the car doesn't feel like it's safe to let you out anywhere, so it's going to find the safest place spot. Does another U turn, comes around now. Now we're talking about five, 10 minutes in this car, and it still hasn't pulled over. And we're like, can you get this thing to pull over? We see another wayo in front of us that the guy gets out in the middle of the road. So he must have been dealing with the same thing. He just went, forget it. I'll do it. Take my chances. So we're like, can we do that? And he's like, sir, I don't recommend that. So. So it turns again, and we're like, can you just tell this thing to stop? And he goes, I don't have control of the car. I'm like, well, why are we talking to you at this point? Like, you can't stop the car, which is probably good because you don't want somebody that's mad at the world to control the car that you're in. So I get it. But. So he was just on the line for, like, moral support? Yes. I think he. He could see what was going on, though. He's like, you're right. He's watching. You're right. This thing is not pulling over. So finally we get to pull over on some residential street, and it's like, now it's a quarter mile away right from where we needed to be. So granted, they comped the entire ride because they felt bad about the scenario co. But lesson learned. This is like phase one of, you know, driverless cars. I would wait until we're like, five, phase five, phase six, before all the kinks are worked out, because it obviously does not have common sense when it's a crowded area of where to go. Moral of the story is that the robots are not quite ready to take over. No. Which is comforting. Which is comforting. I take comfort in that. Yeah. I mean, not bad. We were in San Francisco a couple weeks ago, and way mos are everywhere. I mean, waymos are everywhere. If you think. If you think getting the valley fair is tough, like, it's hard for me to drive around San Francisco. How to. How do the waymos get around? How do the robots doing it? The cool thing this is. You know what. And I'm serious. I was honestly a sucker for this. Have you seen the. I think it's called the zoosk is what it's called Zoosk. And it's basically. I don't know if any. Either of you watched Westworld that HBO shows on years ago, but I was one of the few people who kept watching it past when it was not that great. First season was very, very good. Everything else after that was. It was tough. So I was. I give you a lot of credit for sticking with it. I was deep into season three when they were like, okay, finally we're going into the actual world now. Because I kept waiting, like, this is the payoff. But there's a car that they use that's like their taxis, which are these sort of almost like mini buses where you can face each other. And I think they have those in Vegas. Yeah. And now they're in San Francisco. And they look really cool. I'm like. I thought they looked cool in the show. And I'm like, it's the exact same one. It's just a cube, right? It looks like a little cube. It's a little cube. Yeah. With like, a glass cube and. Yeah. And you could sit. There's little benches where you basically, you can sit. It's like again, like a little mini bus where you can sit and face each other in the car. So I was a sucker for it. I'm like, I like to ride one of those, especially, you know, a date night or something. You know, you're going out with a significant other, you get to have a good conversation facing each other. That's a new experience. Yeah, exactly. I thought that was kind of cool, but. Yeah, I don't, you know, give me. Give me human powered cars for. For a little bit longer. Yeah, I'm. I'm on the. I'm on the AI. AI fatigue, man. Like the, the banners that people like, post. Welcome. God, it's just. Stop. Welcome. The brush strokes font on every single banner. This is the thing that's driving me. You just know it too. You see it. I think. I think Cody really likes this topic. I'm not gonna go all in again. You see me, I'll be at the National. If you get a couple of drinks of me, I will really tell you how I feel. Let's put it that way. Yeah, it's. We're gonna get into some world cup talk here in a minute, and I want, you know, you guys to thank. I got, I got. I. I feel the AI fatigue. I can. I can get into. Well, I think the problem is, like, perfect example, we went to. My wife. Went to Jamba Juice yesterday to get my daughter about made the smoothie. No, no, no. There was a person. There was a person in front of me, them that their order was $10.40 and the. The person gave them $20.40. Perfect. Right? Yeah, no, I. I get where this is going. They gave them $9.60 back and they were like, I should have a 10. And they're like, no, you gave me a 20 goes night. So it. It's like the person put in the 20 and had the math do it for them. But they didn't. They. They didn't put in the 60 cents. They didn't put the 60. The 40 cents in to get 40 cents. Yeah, yeah, 40 cents in. So then there was an argument back and forth saying, I didn't do it right. And like, you did it right. I just need $10. And then they wound up giving them a dollar, which actually now the counter would have been off because the change wasn't, you know, it couldn't figure. Sign me up for the robots. We're doomed. The moral of the story is, is I think that we Were like the. There's too many tools for people to allow to think for themselves. But that's just my opinion. Opinion. We'll see. We'll see 10, 10, 15 years down the line. That's. That's going to be the real test, isn't it? We're gonna. In about 15 years. Where will we be and when you have this new generation of AI hey, you know what, let's face it, I mean you don't need to do math anymore. You gotta, you got a calculator every, everywhere and you don't even need to do like, you don't even, you don't need to know how to spell. You have like spell check and AI and or like to finish your sentences. Would you write in emails, dude? Yeah, I, yeah, it's true. Yeah. I will say shout out to. I think I've been seeing Gary Vee's been on this tip lately of just like working. It's kind of in line with what we're talking about. Maybe a little less, you know, basically saying like analog and like going kind of going backwards a little bit is going to become in people and people are going to seek out those types of experiences. But these tools are making us dependent and lazy. There's that too. And it's not allowing us to be able to problem solve. Right now we're in the infancy where I think we are trying to weed out what is the useful use uses of this technology and what are the ones where it's like, I don't need this. Like, I think of that. There's the. Don't know if you saw this like a Matthew McConaughey Woody Harrelson commercial where he's like, he's sitting in the rain outside of a restaurant and he said, if only I had a I book my dining reservations, this wouldn't be happening. And I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a minute. What are you talking about? This is the weirdest premise I've ever heard. So you're telling me because you booked it by yourself that you couldn't then say, oh, it's raining, can I not sit outside? What are you talking about? So there's just certain things where I'm like, do you need AI to be doing this versus like, you know, I hear in medical journals and stuff, it's like, it's very useful in those cases. So anyway. But yeah, I mean I'm sure there's good use cases for it, but yeah, you can't lean on it. We're just, we're just Trying to figure it. We're in the infancy. We're trying to figure this out. Right. Basically, it's. It started to make some waves in the. In our world. A $3,600 Cooper flag rookie card was stolen by a USPS Postal Service member. This is the video. This is from KPRC2 in Houston. We're talking about a more than $3,600 basketball card this Baytown man ordered online and expected to come and pick up here at this post office. But now a postal service supervisor is accused of stealing it, then reselling it online to an undercover officer. Rodolfo Silvas has quite the collection of sports cards. They're like a piece of sports history memorabilia. Like, this is his rookie card. And earlier this year he hoped to add to the collection with this autographed Cooper Flag rookie card he bought online for $3,617. This card could be worth a lot in the future. In May, his girlfriend went to the Baytown post office to pick it up, signed for it and took home this box. The case that came in, it was taken out, it was gone. There was from ebay. The box had a tiny incision, he says, and he reported the card stolen to Baytown police, the post office and ebay, hoping it would turn up in an investigation. But you were the one that ended up finding it. Yes, I found it on ebay. Within weeks, he found it back up for sale and reported it to the United States Postal Service office of the Inspector General. An investigator working undercover connected with the profile Sidekick 2019 according to a search warrant affidavit and set up a meeting to buy the card for 700 bucks here in this parking lot. Ma', am, you're here for felony theft. Police recovered the stolen card and arrested 44 year old Christy Smiley. Smiley worked at the post office for more than eight years. According to court records, investigators took this photo of her desk, noting it's where Smiley appeared to take a picture of the card listed on ebay. And they're now searching her phone for evidence tying her to more possible male theft victims. I try to tell him I believe this had been going on for a long time. While it's being held as evidence, Silvas still doesn't have that rookie card and says his trust in the mail is gone. Do you expect for them to be, you know, do their job and be trustworthy and like anyone, like, you know, just do your job and not steal. Smelly has been released from jail on personal bonds. Yeah. So there you go. That gives you the, the rundown of. First off, I am shocked that this actually went as far as it did because I, I, we've, we've had more cards, more money than that stolen, and I didn't get this kind of attention. But kudos to the guy with the absolute perfect hairline, by the way. Shout out to his barber. Absolutely perfectly square. I need to hit up his barber. Name is right out of Dumb and Dumber man. I mean, Smiley Slappy Samsonite. But like, to get all of this involved, that was a man that was not gonna let this go. And, and kudos to you, Smiley Slappy. No, well, that's the person who stole it. Oh, Smiley was the person. Smiley. Kudos to the guy with the great hairline there that was perfectly manicured. So. Well, shout out to you because we had something very similar happened to us. We found the card on ebay. We found the card and then cards on ebay cards. And it took a year of litigation to actually get the card. Cards back in our possession. And at that point, they were far less. We actually still got them. We still have them still. Yeah, still here. Still here. After all that. Never let them go. But what do you say, I mean, what do you say to people that I, I guess I can't tell for sure, but anything that's sold on ebay that's over $250 has to go to PSA authentication. So it's not on them. PSA authenticated, is real. Then what do you, I mean, what do you do? How do you trust the mail service in this regard? I mean, I mean, I, you gotta just kind of tell yourself like, there's bad seeds in the bunch. Well, if you're in the industry and you have any knowledge of the industry, you know that that package has a card in it that's going to be worth More than 250. 250. Correct. Like you, you know, without even, without even looking at it. You know that that is going to be worth More than $250. Yeah. The, the tough thing is to just kind of be like there it. This is, this is part of the risk. Like this is going to happen, especially now that like that more people are actively aware of like what's going on. And especially a mail carrier knows this stuff better than anybody. Well, they said this supervisor, so. Right. This is a supervisor. That's what's really years of experience. Right. So you got to say. And I don't know the salaries out there, but you got to think that this person's probably making 70k. Right. Safe to say 70k. But you're messing with the United States Postal Service. Like that's a felony. Like. Right. That person's probably, probably doing some time. Well now that's what I'm saying. Like the risk and the reward. Obviously I don't have the mental capacity or the conscience to do anything like this. But you have to like, if you are of that mindset, you have to weigh out what you're doing versus what you're making. Right. Like, you know what I mean? Like you're not going to get. You just did this for 3600. Actually they were selling it for $700. So you just. Yeah. You just basically risk your $80,000 a year livelihood that pays all your bills for $700. 700 potentially parking lot and potentially going to prison for five years. Correct. So that's the moral of this has to be some type of value on your freedom. Right. Right. Not even, not just your annual salary through the post office. You know, at that point, is it even about the money or is it about the thrill of like. Because even like we all laughed when we saw like they were able to note that she took the picture of the card on her work desk. Like the, the. What are you doing? Well, it tells me that she's probably gotten away with a lot. True. More so like at this point she's probably like, I'm not gonna get caught. I mean it just looks like an old regular. I'm just gonna do it in plain sight. Well, that, that station probably knows all the claims of missing packages. I'm sure they didn't let obviously let that out of the bag because they didn't have to. But I'm sure this, that case connected a lot of dots. Oh yeah. And they're not going to go out and be like, oh, you think that one card's bad? We have like 700 missed packages from this fulfillment center. Right. So they probably finally were like, all right, we need to get the police involved in this one. And he just maybe was the beneficiary of. I'm just saying, allegedly of like a lot of stuff that they've already been investigating. They found this. They're like, she put it on. She put it on ebay. So easy enough, you can go through her completed ebay list. But then how did she meet somebody in the parking lot then? The old Best Buy parking lot deal. Yeah. That's where I think they showed the wrong thing because the car looked like it was $1,100 with bids left. Right. Well, that. The reposting of it. Right. Was 1100. And. Yeah. And then didn't let it finish. And it was able to work out a deal. Wanted to work out a deal on the 700 cash up front. I guess they're just like, yeah, sure, why not? Unless it was like something else. Some other item they had on their ebay. Maybe it was that. I'm in the area. Do you think you can meet me at. Which by parking lot. Yeah. Which feels like maybe the more the Lee. The. The less suspicious way of just like, oh, I'm interested in another thing you're selling. And it's always the Best Buy parking lot. It's always the Best Buy parking lot. Always the Best Buy parking. Why can't it be a Starbucks? You know, get a little coffee deal. Exactly. Best Buy. You know why? Cuz who goes to Best Buy anymore? Let's be honest. I drove by a Best Buy the other night. Honestly, you don't going here anymore? Look, I. I used to love going. There's a lot of places I don't like. Best Buy is not one of them. I like Best Buy. Best Buy has good vibes. I used to love going to Best Buy. There's nothing better than just. Yeah, but you know what? They've turned. So at a stupid expensive price. But I got to go because it's right in my backyard. It has Yamal, it has Kevin de Brun, it has Earling Holland, Luca Modrick Neymar, Jr. Ronaldo from Brazil. So you got a mix of the Ev. Landon Donovan from United States, Zidin, Zidane from France. So that's got a mix of old and new. You got Pele, you got Maradona, you got France, Beckenbauer. So literally just stacked 42 color blast. You have Color Blast Duels, which I don't know if those will do as well because it's like Argentina has Angel Di Maria and Messi, right? It's probably better to just have Messi on those, right? Portugal has Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandez. Then you have 14 color wheels, which has Yamal on there, Erling Holland, Messi. And then you have. You have mangas. You have 30 mangas. You have Ronaldo, Jude Bellingham, Leo Messi, Estavo. I mean, it's. It's loaded. You're dealing with Yamal's first World cup card. You've got potentially Messi and Ronaldo's last World cup card. If you want to look at it that way. Messi may play in 2030. He'd be 42. But I doubt Ronaldo, at 45, will still be playing. So it's safe to say that Ronaldo is his last World Cup Portugal cards that you can ever get. It's. It's funny that at the beginning of this tournament, I think everybody just kind of thought about it like, yeah, this is probably it. It's probably the last Messi, Ronaldo, World Cup. And now Messi has scored all five of Argentina's goals. He had one that went off the post in a pit of penalty. He missed a pet. Yeah, he missed the penalty. He probably should have had six goals. Could you imagine two hat tricks in two games? And now it's like, he can keep playing. Like, what's the point of him stopping? I mean, again, four years is a long time, so a lot can happen. But right now, I don't see any reason. This is got to be the craziest amount of talent in a World cup. In the history of the World Cup. It has to be. And I mean, that's why this set, I just think is going to be massive. I mean, the fact that it's also. You mentioned the color blast. It's the first official World cup color blasts. There's a ton of legends that are in here just to. I mean, I think we've just seen it around here and I know that we are a stone's throw away from a World cup site, but just the interest in this and I. I've only been here for one World cup, but it was such a different vibe where it was in 1994. Right. Right. Or I was gonna say just here at the. At the shop during a World cup when. 2022, when it was in Qatar and it was still kind of COVID It was right there was. We were kind of coming out of COVID It's also the holiday. So it was a weird vibe. And I didn't. I didn't feel the. Yeah, it was like November. Right. It was the. The final ended the week before Christmas. The Friday before Christmas was the World cup final, if I remember correctly. It didn't have the same feeling, this being we're hosting it. And you're right. First time since 94 plus it's in the area. I just. There's a different excitement. There's a different feeling right now watching all the games. Like every host city, maybe not the first round of games. You can probably see some empty seats, like in the cheaper seats now you look at the crowd, there's not an empty seat. No. And yeah, I mean, it's every. Every host city, it's like the hottest ticket in town. It tells me that the more casual fans are, like picking up on it. And obviously there's been. I've got some sales data just in the last. Basically since the beginning of June, and the numbers are like, pretty staggering right now. Like Lamina, who finally got his first goal. I say finally, he's 18. It's. It's weird to say finally, but just Take a look at something I didn't play in the first game completely. Right. In the last week alone, this is what's really standing out. These are the biggest card sales. This comes via card ladder. Just look at some of those numbers right now. Sapphire, Pat Parasha, PSA10 just to shade under $327,000. A Merlin super fracture. That's his, that can't be a rookie card in 2024. I believe the 24 is considered his rookie. Yeah, no, 23, sorry, 23 would be considered his rookie. Maybe that's 23, 24 chrome. Right. I think that's what it is. This is always the thing too. And look, I'm sure soccer fans will be like, this is, this is the soccer rookie card. And it's something we haven't really talked about yet. And I, it's, it's not affecting sales, obviously. You can see these numbers. Everything here is six figures. But it doesn't feel like how in like baseball it's like, oh yeah, the Bowman, the Tops Chrome rookie. In football it's the Prism or it's the Tops or whatever. There's I know a few sets from like the Ronaldo Messi years that are like considered the number one. Now with a new era, I, I mean I'm assuming it'll end up being just the Tops Chrome now with Tops kind of taking over everything here in a couple of years. I mean there, there's going to be, it's crazy to say there's going to be so many million dollar cards coming out of this set. Like it's going to be ridiculous. Like the one on one black Lamina mall. I mean also what you have to consider too is all these sales that we're looking at is club team, right? So, and this is a question for the soccer fans out there. Would you rather have the club team or would you rather have the Spain? Right? I mean, because to me the World cup is the biggest stage. It's every four years. It's, you know, the ultimate battle. You lose, you have to wait another four years. You know, guys like Memo Ochoa have played in six, but that's 24 years. You only play, best case scenario, Lamina Malls in six of these, right? Cause he's young enough, he could be in six of these. But this is his first. So how do you value this going forward compared to his rookie card? And then you got, then you throw in the fact that you won't have Panini, you know, after 2031, right? So you're not going to Have Prism World Cup. Is it going to be tops Chrome World Cup. So, you know, it's something to consider when buying this set and, and buying these singles. Is, you know, is this the Lamina Mall to get. Is this the Ronaldo to get? Is this the Messi to get? We know there won't be any more color blasts after 2031. So all these things considered is this is a thou. If you can get a box at eleven hundred dollars, is that a great buy? Now granted these case hits and stuff like that and these color blasts don't come out in every case but you know, just the shot at these. It just seems insane. I know there's only one autograph per box. Now when I'm looking at these autographs, it doesn't look like there's Ronaldo Inc. But there is a lot of messy to chase. Let me see if there's any yamals. He might be a tops guy now. I don't know. He does have autos he has under International Inc. Uh, he has autos in that set and he also is on a trio signature. So there's probably not going to be a lot of Lamina Mall autos in here. But you have USA. You have a tribute to USA the 94 set. And it's like Lawless and some of these guys which is probably not worth a lot but still kind of cool. There's just a lot that there's 2012 throwbacks. I mean it's a pretty stacked set and I'm interested to see, you know, how the market really takes us as we have, you know, comes out on the 26th and that gives us like 25 days of world cup still. Yeah. It. You could not have perfect like, like better timing with this release. It's yeah. Absolutely the most perfectly timed release. Right in the thick of it. It's match day three. Will basically be starting as this product comes out or right. Right at the beginning of match day three. Yep. To kind of answer your question, Doug of like what are we going to prefer? Is it going to be the first in their national team jersey or is it just their first card period Just by his just what history is telling us. Again, these are the most extreme examples. The number one messy card of all time is still his 2004 Mega Cracks PSA 10. A $1.5 million card. Now his first gold. You've got a. I believe this would have been 14. Oh my God. Which. There you go. A gold PSA 10 from the 14 World cup of Messi $522,000. I talk about it. Yeah, yeah, we don't need to talk about it. But still. But what it tells me still is the first card, whatever that is deemed to be of, like this rookie 2014. Yeah, we could sell that stuff in 24. Do you remember how much we had laying around? Yeah, just base. Nobody want to base. Do you remember the gold and silver packs that had all those parallels that were in there? Yeah, I don't need to show you. Do you want to see 2015 flawless soccer? Because I've got a sale of 2015 flawless soccer if you want to see it. By the way, to the flip side of it, this. This has more to do with kabooms. 2018 kabooms podcast. Isn't that great? This is not the best content we've ever put together. 2018 kabooms obviously, are kind of in a category of them. It is the biggest Cristiano Ronaldo card, the green kaboom at 1.35 million. But number two is a 2015 panini flawless one of one auto. We might have sold out dude for $420,000. But again, the one you're seeing also most consistently is his mega cracks. That's his very first card that gets the most consistent high sales. And. And, you know, not to just say woe is me as a breaker, but just to paint a little background for the listeners. We've been breaking since 2010s for those that don't know, and World cup flawless, and it's the. Actually the only flawless World cup that they've released. I think that's coming out this year. So 15 it came out, and we. We were just four of us at that time, but we were growing, and we're like, we need to get this flawless. They're like, all right. So in order to get 20 cases of flawless soccer at $2,400 a box, actually. I'm sorry, 2400 a case. A case. 1200 each. Briefcase. In order to get 20 of those, we had to buy 40 cases of Donrus regular, which actually is, like, way up now, too. Yeah, it had, like, I think polis. There was somebody in there. That's good now. Yeah, it's probably a $300 box now. So we had to buy 40 cases of that at, like, $50 a box. 20 bucks cases. And it was 20 box cases. And we basically use all the money we had at the time to do that deal. We were struggling to pay bills at that time, so we sold the World cup as fast as possible. I mean, we Were even opening some just to get rid of it, like, because, like, we're like, this is where all of our profits tied up in. We're not going to be able to sell this. Don Russ and I think a briefcase of those now is, like, 100K. And we had 40 briefcases. Jeez. But, you know, hindsight's 20 20, of course. But it's just, you know, when you're dealing with that. Well, they also came out with. Is it 2018 Eminence World Cup? Yes. That's another good one that we just went through. We actually. We actually sold. We. We had some Messi and Ronaldo cards that we sold for, like, three grand. Yep. To. To. To our buddy. Yeah. Well, look, this is something I. You know, this is something we like to. I feel like all we do is go, like, these podcasts. We relive these, like, where we lose. Like, everybody's like, man, the breakers just win. The breakers win. Well, we are a prime example of breakers. We don't win. Not all the time. And we win sometimes. We win sometimes, but we. Hey, that. That 2018 dynasty, that was just a sale for, like, 200 grand. But when we lose, we lose big. We go. We don't. We go big. Look, well, that's the thing when you're. I mean, most dealers will have the same story. You can't. You can't. Not a lot of dealing. Not a lot of dealers had 40 cases of it. No, but you can't speculate that. It's like, I can't be like. I mean, if I could get into a freaking DeLorean, go backwards right now and. And go 88, bro. Go to. Go over there off of Walsh, because that's where we were at, and say, hey, hey, dude, you might want to just hold on to, like, five or ten of these things. I could. I would do that. Yeah. Yeah. How do we do that? But. But at the time. At the time, you're like, we gotta sell this stuff. You know, we gotta sell this stuff and, you know, customers. That's how we grow a customer base, is that we do more breaks and more people are involved, so. Well, that's a waymo. I can get behind. If you can actually just put in a destination. Waymo. Well, yeah, you could just go back in time. Look, that'd be. Look, version five, maybe, of Waymo. Also time travel. Let's make it happen. Absolutely. I mean, and not even to mention, this is also. I mean, Erling Holland looked great in his first game, and he's got his first walk. This set is so stacked. I mean, I don't know how much they've made, how hard it will be to get some of these cards, but just the amount of color blasts that if Messi wins the Golden Boot, which he's, you know, he's already got freaking five goals, right? If he wins the Golden Boot, most goals in the tournament, then, then people are going to be like, this is the best color blast that you can get because it was during his golden Boot. And they say Argentina wins this year again too. And it's like, this is the card. Like, these sets only come around once every four years. I think people are sleeping on this. If you're not a soccer fan, but you're in just value on cards, like, yeah, get yourself some boxes. I mean, we've been talking for years of when is soccer going to have its moment, at least stateside in the hobby. It's happening right now. It's happening. To your point, Early Holland just had the biggest card. We just had the biggest Early Holland card sale on June 13th. $610,000 for his BGS9.5 Super Fractor rookie auto. Like it's happening. We're in the moment where soccer is connecting with the United, with the North American audience in a way it never has before, specifically in the US and obviously it's already been a factor globally and the international hobby market is as big as it's ever been, if not the biggest it's ever been. It's just the perfect convergence right now of everything is the stars are aligning. And what I love about this is because, you know, we haven't had it since 94 and US market is not really caught up to the world, but now, now they're seeing it, right? So young kids, I mean, you already asked kids who's some of the biggest athletes. They're going to say Messi Ronaldo because they see him on Tick Tock and all that stuff. Ishow Speed's been great at really kind of ushering in soccer too. But it's, it's just great to get this to, you know, to the States here and really show like, these guys are larger than life. These guys are bigger than your Jackson Darts, your, you know, some of your football players that you idolize or your, or your, your baseball players that you idolize. These guys are global. You can go to Spain and you can see the Lamina Malls. You can go to Brazil and see all the Neymar Payless. It's huge everywhere else. It's just the States is Behind. Yeah, there's. I think you could probably count on the amount of, of soccer stars who have like at least 50 million followers across social media is something like, you know, it's, it's something like 25, 30 of them, which is a substantial amount of stars. Well, you know who has the biggest account on Instagram? Yes. Ronaldo. Yeah, he has 666 million. And then like Messi is like second or third with like 450 something million followers. It's insane. Whereas I think you could probably count on one hand the amount of American athletes who can even hold who are in that bracket. Did you guys hear for that guy about the, the New Zealand. So there was this football influencer, I don't know who it is, football info influencer that went out and found the smallest Instagram account out of any player in the World Cup. It was a guy that played for New Zealand. I don't know if he was the goalie but he said he plays for New Zealand. He had 5, 000 followers. So they said let's see what we can do. He has 5.4 million now. There you go. Just from just saying like let's follow this guy. I mean look, the story of the World cup so far. The Cape Verde team who had another tie in. In a. And their goalkeeper. My favorite story of the whole, the 40 year old goalkeeper for Zino, I believe his name is, went from kind of the same thing. I think he went from like 15k followers to now he's at like 50 million. Insane. See by the way, you want to talk about all these stars, we're talking about all of these incredible sps. We're talking about. He's in this set. He's got a card in this set. You're telling me he's not going to vault to be one of the. I would. I'm going to go out on a limb and say I think he's like a top 10 chase in this product because I think people are going to be like in the moment be like, I want this guy. It's a great story. It's going to be one of whatever happens. One of the defining stories of this World cup is the performance that he put together and what that team put together. And that's going to be a very popular card. Yeah. And then you got Muhammad Salah who just had a great night last night for Egypt. I mean there's just so many stars that it's just awesome to see. And people that are, are in fans of soccer, like, come on man. Why you keep talking about this? But yeah, we get to talk about it once every four years really. And, and right now is literally the heyday. But to end this podcast, we got some big sales from some Disney cards. Cody, tell me about what, what we're seeing here. I think on the entertainment stuff. I think just look, we, we've been on this tip for a while of like pop culture cards. Entertainment cards are like when, when is the tipping point of. Once again, kind of similar to the soccer stuff where it's like, is there going to be a tipping point where we're like, okay, this stuff is like legit huge sales. There have been some huge sales, but I just found it notable three big sales over the weekend or last week. First of all, timing could not be more perfect. We had a super fracture 20, 25 tops chrome Disney Woody Tom Hanks auto record breaking sale of $37,000. Mickey the Chrome Red and Black Wave PSA 10 sold for $62,000 on Golden. And that's number to 28. Yeah, that's the one that shocks. But it's from the first number to 28. And of course the number to 28 being what the commemorating the Mickey parallel. Right? Yeah. But maybe the most shocking one of one. Mr. Krabs from SpongeBob Sapphire Selection Super Factor at 12.4 K. Look, if you, if, if you've somehow been sleeping on the pop culture stuff, it's here, it's gonna stay. It's definitely been a little bit of in my head trying to like reason it where I'm like, I remember as a kid like the ultimate junk wax was movie tie and stuff. It was not sought after. Yeah, it was, it was the ultimate. Like there are they, they print this like there are 17 million versions of this. Yeah. And there was, there was no numbered. It was like you basically would buy a couple packs or a box to like build the base set and that was pretty much the only thing you can do. There was really no short prints, nothing numbered, no autograph chase. So yeah, it's definitely changed. Yeah, it's in. That's part of it is. It definitely feels like it just was, you know, somewhere where they, they realized there was a huge gap in an audience that's like crazy. That is absolutely there to like we want the, the scarcity in this pop culture stuff again. These are all three sets that you're looking at that are like. I think that Tom Hanks is the first version of that card. It's the first time bring up the Lorcana iconics if you can. Yes. Yeah. Because it blew my mind. I actually pulled a Moana out of a random pack at Disneyland. I went and got it graded. PSA actually was trying to buy it from me for 1500. At the time, the market was 2500. Well, it just. To the partner offers, right? Yeah. Not psa. Was trying to. Somebody. Somebody was trying to buy somebody at that was, you know, interested in that card from PSA was offering me 1500, but I looked at the time and it was worth 2500. So I said, hey, I'm gonna hold on to it. Week later, same cards, 4, 500. And so what's remarkable, what I'm about to show you this. And this is all just. Where do you like. So that's out of Lorcana. So that's like a tcg. It is. So they started with the. If Lorcana fans can correct me if I'm wrong, they started in set nine, and they print two Iconics for each set. The first one was Mickey and Minnie, and I believe the next one was Ariel and Pocahontas, I think. So there's only been, like, eight. So they only released two each set. And I believe they're one in, like, 300 cases. So they. The first eight sets, they didn't have the Iconics. The. The biggest one was the enchant. Those ones were only, like, three to 400. They could get up to a thousand, depending on the. On the. On the character. They introduced the Iconics, and I think that was the smartest decision they could have made because they're so rare. Like, mine has my PSA 10 has a pop count of 60. So it's like. That's why these prices are insane, because there's just not. Not many of them. Yeah, take a look here. This is. This is a. This is CGC10 of an iconic foil Elsa sold on June 12th for $27,000. You've gotten more. You've got the PSA10. I believe this is the Mickey Mouse one. That's a pretty iconic one you've seen. Not to be, you know, no pun intended. 24k. I'm not sure if it's. I'm sure it's the two together, the Mickey and the mini, but still 12k each. The Elsa, definitely the biggest of these, but, yeah, these are becoming. There you go. There's a Buzz Lightyear at 16K, also sold on June 9. So another one where I felt like out the gate, we were all like, oh, my God, get on Lorcana. It's Going to be massive. I wanted to start buying these a couple months ago and I wish I would have because it actually has quadrupled since then. It insanity the prices on these things and beings that they only release two per set. It really kind of keeps the rarity to a level that high end collectors I think are going to buy these. Yeah, a smart decision by Ravensburger. It's. Yeah, it's. It's been awesome to see the. I mean again it's. It's one where I kind of was just like waiting for the moment to be like when is Lorcana gonna have its. Have its moment? And I think it coinciding too with the pop culture stuff. I wanted to ask you guys because I. I thought the Woody one was interesting. Obviously the new Toy Story movie came out over the weekend. I don't think the timing of that Woody sale is a coincidence. Last week, Doug, I talked to Dan about it. I want to get your thoughts. The. There was like a Judy Hopps card that went from like $700 to like 10xing in like a. In like two years. Obviously what happens in between those two years you have Zootopia to be like one of the biggest movies of the year. So like it's the. For the first time I'm thinking you can actually maybe time these sales or actually say oh yeah, this value went up because this movie came out. Or like this property is having a moment like possibly. But I think it also ties into the rarity level of that card. So say I don't know which one you're specifically saying. I'm assuming it's a one on one or I think it was number to five or number to five. So that I think these high end Disney collectors are trying to build rainbows of these two. So yeah, probably the timing of the movie makes the person that's selling it probably put it up. So. But there's probably always these guys looking for these cards and you know, we know a couple guys like Sean from High End Case Breaks. He's a. He's a big Disney guy. He's collecting stuff like this. There's a lot more competition for. For these as. As I think parents like to show these cards off to their kids and they remember these characters as kids. Maybe not Judy Hopps specifically, but you know, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, all these things. Yeah, I'm trying to find here the. Some. Some potential. Other to your point about like how much these are going up right now. I mean I'm seeing some. Here you go. A CGC 10 Elsa in February sold for $1,700. Again, that's now a $27,000. See, that's an insane jump. That's an insane jump. That's absolutely. That's what I said. My. My moana was like 2,000 and now it's like 5,000. So, yeah, I think that people were sleeping on of how rare these are, and now it's probably too late to buy them, so. Well, the thing is still with these Lorcana sets, I feel like they still are the boxes and the booster boxes comparatively, to still relatively inexpensive. Exactly. Yeah. So I think there's still. It's just what Doug was saying, though. It's so hard to pull these. Yeah, he said like one in 3,000 packs. It's. It's. Let's see. It's. It's pretty tough. Iconic Lorcana rates, pull rates. And look, I might get some crap for this, but, like, I will do the whole, like, I buy a box for me, and I buy a box to stash away when it comes to Pokemon stuff, when the show, when to go. One in 1500 to 2000 packs. Roughly one in 84 booster boxes. Okay, maybe not in the grand scheme of things, not as rare. Maybe getting a PSA 10. But maybe that's why, like. Well, it's funny because I just grabbed like eight packs out of gaming stack, just. And I was like, I'm gonna open these on rides. And I actually wound up opening that one in the hotel room. Nice. I wish I would open that one on a ride. I opened dud packs on rides, and then I had like, five left, and I was like, like, holy crap. And I thought it was an enchanted. And I was like, no, this is an iconic. And then I sent it to PSA. I just got it back as a 10. And yeah, I mean, it's. It's. It's actually. It's Mojo breaks card. But I have it, and I haven't decided if it's time to pull the trigger on selling it or wait for it to keep going up, because I also kind of like the card, so I don't want to sell it either, so. Well, it tells me that, you know, and I had some worry of, like, ah, as Lorcana just kind of find its audience and have its, you know, have its audience. And that's his. It is what it is. It'll never reach the heights of, say, the other major TCGs. This. This, though, tells me, no, we're at a point maybe where it's going to start to Flip around and yeah, like I was going to say, like, one to show, one to go. I'm. I'm. Maybe I'm at the point now with Lorcana sets where I'm like, I might be starting to think to do that. I mean, there was a Jeff Wilson take a million years ago, well, not a million years ago, but probably like five years ago, where he said that there was going to be a point that Lorcana was going to take over Pokemon. Now we're not. We're not at that point. No, because Lorcana has become a lot more popular than it was when it first came out. But Pokemon has gone absolutely insane with popularity. I don't think it ever does that. But it's got place. I mean, and like, I mean, One Piece is still very popular. I mean, what. What isn't hot right now? Nascar, unfortunately. Nascar. The greatest. The greatest sport in history of all sports. But I don't even let you go. They. There's an unlicensed company making Bo Jackson cards that is like the hottest cards ever for some reason. When I was there, I went to Pizza Planet to go get. And I actually thought it was a Star wars thing. I'm like, it must be something Star wars because it's like near Star Tour. Star Tours. And it's near the. It's right next to the store, but it's also next to the Buzz Lightyear Astroblast. It is Also as well, Pizza the Hut, of course, from Spaceballs. Yeah. So I, yeah, I didn't, I put that, I put that together while watching Toy Story over the weekend and I'm all, oh, Pizza Planet. I'm like, oh, that's a Toy Story thing. I thought it was a Star wars and now, and now I should just get cut this up and get blasted on social media. Now you can have fun thing where you can watch all the other Pixar movies for showing your son and they sneak Pizza Planet in to every single movie. I don't know if I want to. No, I don't. I don't know. Great. Most of them are great. Are they all great? I would say like 90 of them are great. Maybe 85. Toy Story is okay. No, come on now. Dude, that actually I had, I was crying in the theater. Toy Story. Yeah. You're crying at Toy Story because they, they're like, we're going to make an iPad a Toy. Toy Story 3. That's essentially what it is actually a good story about not not letting your kids, you know, play on iPads all the time because, you know, it's not, not healthy. So it's a good story. I will say Toy Story 3 probably did you guys, I haven't seen it yet, But Toy Story 3 is probably the most like, I'll admit this on Mike, the like the ugliest cry I've ever had in a theater. The end of that movie. I've heard that my, my wife said the same exact thing. She, she cried in the theater. There's a lot of ugly cried in that theater. It was, it was a lot. They ended. I, I am not a crier and I guess as I've gotten older and I have kids now, it's just, it's coming. It's exactly what it is. It's softens you up.
