The one thing that matters as it relates to trading cards is no matter what, there's one player you should buy. And if you bought, you would have probably 10x'd your money. And that would be Mr. Jalen Brunson. His cards have gone through the roof. March. His PSA 10s were selling for like 100 bucks. And at the end of May, they were selling for 350, 360. They're over a thousand. They're over a thousand now. I even saw today on Facebook, people are trying to get them on the secondary market already just to actually have them. These playoffs have to be seven games for excitement. It has to be seven. And the NBA does it well. NHL does it well. Baseball does not do it well. Logo Man Redemption sold for over $1 million. Crazy. Headline News is great for the industry. It's great for all of us. We're all helping each other build. The hobby won't build itself, so gotta uplift, everyone. Welcome to the Collector Nation podcast. Here on the Collector Nation Network. Whether you're chasing grails or calling bluffs, we take you inside the hobby. Here are your hosts, Ryan Alford and Brian Lut. What's up, guys? Welcome to Collector Nation here on the Collector Nation Network. Joined by Bella, Brian, and you've always got Ryan here. We got the BRB all in the house. Ryan's got. Hey, he looks powerful today. He looks like a CEO. Like, I don't know these. If you're at the desk, Brian, but it's like LX and Jordan above it. It's like the Oval Office cards. Exactly. The LUDX Oval Office. The worst dress or square ill T shirt. You know, Keep it real. Yes. Hey, I had a teacher, I threw this polo on. So if you're watching, if you're listening, you should be watching. If you're watching, you should be listening. And I put a polo on just for everyone. You know, just had to look spiffy today. You know, this felt underdressed with my T shirt, but I, I usually wear T shirts. You know, it's the joy of self employment and ownership, I guess. But we appreciate you are wherever you are, whenever you are. I, you know, it's. Whenever they are, we don't ever know when they're listening. This could be someone 10 years from now catching this episode. That's what's weird about content. You never know when they're going to see it. Like, it's here and now for us right now. Like this moment I'm talking is now. Yeah. We're, we're in infamy now. Yeah. So anyway, when the aliens take over, they'll, they'll see this. Everybody's like, shut the hell up. Just get some sports car talk. Yeah, we're not a. I generated because, you know, no, AI, this is real. Yeah. AI cannot stumble, fumble, mumble and you know, dance their way around this. I will say I was excited that we're, we might have a series again in the finals. It's been, it's been a dramatic and interesting series. I'll say this number one. And you know, we're going to be changing the format a little bit of the show getting a little more structured. We move along, integrate some things with ludx, some other things we're doing anyway, coming down the road. And part of that's going to be like transparency of like where we were right, where we were wrong. Yep. Yep. This series is ridiculous. I, I mean, I look forward to it every night that, that it comes on and it's high level basketball and it's a lot of threes, but there's a lot of non threes too. I mean, there's a lot of like, like intricate stuff going on. And if you really pay attention when we just. I mean, he controls the game on both sides of the floor. Like the dude, if he. I mean, he's a baby, you know, like we talked about. I mean, he's. It's unbelievable. New York better get him now. That's all I'm gonna say. His reach, like, just like he doesn't even have to do anything and he can block a ball like, it's just like crazy. I. He's so lengthy in just any direction. I like New York State team way more than I thought I did, I'll tell you that. And I was, I was kind of hoping the spurs would win. Um, but I've got some new respect for, for New York, their team as a whole. Even Carl Anthony Towns, who I've, I've beat up on more than I'd like to admit. Like, not personally, but just like, you know, Watching his game right now and I'm like, man, why is that guy, seven footer, shooting threes? And you know, he's super talented, but he stepped up defensively. They've all stepped up. It's just been a really good series. Harper's a freak too. I'm a, he's a rookie. And I mean, I don't know how whoever, their gm, you know, whoever's been scouting, like, get that guy a big fat race. Every, every player they've, they've drafted last couple years is, looks great. I mean, New York has enough going on. I mean, people love New York. If you want to. I'm rooting for San Antonio because I have, I, I have no allegiance to any team but the, the city of San Antonio. It would mean a lot more for them. And I don't think they'll like cars on fire. What New York will so see, New York's gonna light cars on fire regardless. Yeah. Because they're happy or sad. It's the weirdest thing. Yeah. Granger knows when you're a procurement manager for an office park, you're not managing one building, you're managing all of them. And to stay ahead, you need to see through walls and around corners. Lights about to fail, filters ready to clog H Vac on its last leg. If you wait until something breaks, you're already behind. Count on Grainger for quality products, easy reordering and 24. 7 support. Call 1-800-GRAINGER click grainger.com or just stop by Grainger for the ones who get it done. But Wimby's card, still high, still selling well. Someone's market who I've thought has been interesting is castles because he, he, you know, he really helped Wemby and he's a young player. Direct tie to the long term momentum that Wemby's had. So I think that he's somebody that could really be a good asset and someone to look forward to if you're wanting to see someone progress. Yeah, you look at those guys, I mean, you look at any of these guys, right? Kobe had his guy with Shaq, Jordan had Pippen. He's going to have a guy that's going to be a Hall of Famer just based on that. And, but if you look at, it'd be interesting. I mean, Shaq's cards are fine, but Shaq's also pretty relevant. He's on the, on the talk shows and he's on commercials. But Pippin's cards haven't. Those, those really haven't gone up and he's a Hall of Famer and won all the championships. So I don't know card wise, I don't know if Castle's there, but he's definitely gonna be like, has a good chance to be hall of Famer. Yeah, he won a rookie of the year last year. You know, when Wimby Witts hurt, you know, he, he, he, he's. He wins the rookie of the Year. I don't know where Harper's going to finish, but they're going to have three rookie year of the year awards. I mean, obviously I think Cooper flags already won or winning, but I'm just saying. But could have like any other year if we went to Cooper flag gear. Harper's probably winning it and so crazy young team. Castle's a, is, is an exciting player. The guy's got like a 78 inch vertical or something like that. Not 78. No one has that. But you know what I'm saying, he can jump out of the gym and is exciting to watch. He's very good. I would love for his cars to go up because I've pulled like an out of 10 out of him and out of 50 the last week. The boys and I have been on a absolute heater on ripping some basketball. Hot. I mean insane. He'll send me a picture like once a day and I'm like, what? Yeah, how are you? Case hit Cooper flag on card. Magic Johnson auto out of a modern pack on card. James Harden on card auto. Let's see. That many? Yeah. 10 out of 10. Wow. What else? That's. I'm just getting started. Dame Lillard. Five out of five. Case hit out of tops signature basketball. You're one out of one a couple weeks ago. We need to get the team, they need to have imagery of all this playing. We'll get the images. I need truth. I need proof. Yes, exactly. I know I haven't seen them in, in the flesh. I don't know I can believe. And we filmed all of it. We saw some of it on the boat. We were doing a lot of it open on the boat this past weekend. We got backdrop and everything. All right, guys, Ryan and Bella, we're cutting in here late breaking we record. Look, we're transparent here. On collection nights. We record on Wednesdays. We're not an everyday show. We Tuesdays and, and Friday release days and sometimes recording the day before, but usually a couple days out. We had to break in here late breaking. It was too big of a game. The largest comeback in NBA history in the playoffs. In finals history. Get all my definitive superlatives and. And records intact here. Largest comeback in finals history, 29 points down. So just whatever we were saying was going to happen or not happen, this is what happened. Yeah, it was crazy. I mean, the chance that this happened, less than 0.5% chance. Like, it's crazy that they even came back. I kind of not gonna lie, I kind of gave up watching. I watched like I was doing some other work. Well, my laptop, the first three. I watched the whole game, but I was admittedly working and just going, oh, my God. Yeah, I can kind of check out a little bit. Then New York started to get. And I'm like, man, it's funny how in the Pros they all 20 point swings happen quick. And. And then it was halfway through the fourth and they were still down like 12. And I'm like, they're just running out of time, you know, like, they're playing better run out of time. And it was still felt that way. And then I'm like, but they're chipping away. I'm no longer working. I'm just watching, going. They're gonna somehow pull this off. And then at the end, unbelievable OG and an og. I have a hard time saying his name. And an obi. Unbelievable player, by the way. Don't let my bad pronunciation of oh, he is the OG now. Yeah, no, he is. And I mean like that. I can just imagine Brunson's like, as soon as he saw that ball not go in his soul, probably like just got crushed. And then he saw it get tipped in and it was probably like a euphoric feeling. Yes. So a little, you know, whether you want or not. Unbelievable New York. I said this. I'm going to continue to say I said my guess. Like, I had very little hope for New York in this. I just thought they were, you know, that San Antonio is a superior team. Young, but superior. And New York is some dogs. Like, they are some dogs. That's the highest compliment I can give you. Don't mean. That's not negative. This is fighting them. Yeah, they got some dogs and. And Jalen's a dog. All these guys hard to dog. OG's a dog like they came at. I just did not give many more talented teams than them have thrown in the towel with that kind of deficit against a team like Wimby, his team. With all like many a team have thrown that how and gone. We'll. We're gonna have to figure it out next game. We're gonna save our energy. Yeah. And they just didn't. I mean putting up 55 points in the second half while the spurs only put up 25 points. So if you go back and watch that play. I played basketball my whole life, was pretty good. All region. Should have played college. Blew out my ankle a couple times. That was that. If you watch the play, literally if one thing happens, they win the game. One thing. If Dylan Harper boxes out, which he should have OG he was coming down the lane because Dylan Harper was boxing out no one. He was there. He looked like he was in position. But you got super athletes that, that are NBA players coming down the lane. If he just bought puts a body on him, Stefan Castles right there to get the rebound. And that's. That would be textbook what you're supposed to do. You've heard and I know it's in the finals last month but that's when instincts take over, fundamentals take over and some of these athletes and look, I'm the biggest. I love Dylan Harper. I think he is a rock star in the making already. Really good. So this is not, this is not me knocking on him, but textbook block out, put your body in the way. OG doesn't get in there. Stephan Castle's right there. But instead he had the running start and he was, he's already. They're all freak athletes and so he's. He's over everybody else because he had a running start. Yeah. I don't care how good your vertical is. And there it was. And I mean like the time it, like it could not have. It could not have been more perfect. And I mean I think New York will be replaying that moment for, for years to come. So what does this mean from a collector standpoint? Well, I. OG you know, one play matters if the New York. New York's a big market. So one play does matter. And I do think the buy is what it was three weeks, two weeks ago. Whatever it was, I told you is Brunson. That's still the buy. They're now at three. One good chance they're going to win. And look. But I don't put it past the Spurs. This is so competitive and I think the spurs have the team. Can they hold it together mentally like just physically they can but mental like toughness, this young 22 year old, 21 year olds, if they can they. I would not put it past them to come all the way back. I think New York just, I don't know, has this edge on them right now. That feels like it. And if Taylor Swift shows up to Every game. You know maybe she, she'll be the good luck charm. Yeah. With her sneak Stevie Nick shirt and all. Yeah. She become a New York Knicks fan? Is this new? I don't know. To be honest, I don't really follow Taylor Swift all that well. But I did see Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner were there and Timothy Chalamet went up and hug Brunson and I thought he was like, he was like tearing up. He's like a long term Knicks fan. I'm pretty sure he's like from the Bronx. There were a lot of OG New York Nick fans there that have pulled from to the years. Yeah. It would be huge for them. I don't know if the city can survive it but be a good party. And I still think Steph Castles got a lot of upside on his cards too. Yeah. Look Castle, Harper Wimby, you will not go wrong holding those cards. But I really think OG kind of has some, some potential. I know it's just one moment but I think that that moment can give him a sense of confidence that he might not have had before because you know now, now everyone knows his name. Like even you know, even though Brunson tried the three pointer and he just tipped it in like he now has made his mark on the finals in the Knicks and in the NBA. Yeah. So we'll see. It's been an exciting series and we'll keep following it and keep telling you again. You know what, maybe we'll have the values next week. We'll have. I think we had them earlier in this show or at the end or this little insert. So get back to your regular schedule programming which is us talking probably about something interesting hopefully. Yep. We'll see you next week. The. We had a good episode recording. It'll go out next week. Icons.com. yep. The CEO and founder and talk about all things messy jerseys, all, all the soccer jerseys and all the. The madness that is the World Cup. Do you have any team you're pulling for? Brian USA all the way. That's. Yeah, of course. Okay. I kind of walked into that one, I guess. No, I don't, I don't like honestly like I think and I might take some heat from this. I've tried to watch soccer. I've tried to like be like totally like. I, I don't. I'm not putting any preconceived like notions in my head about if I like it or not. But on World cup last time I sat there and I said okay, I'm Just gonna watch this game for what it is, right? It's the most popular game in the world. Well, I, I have a theory why it's the most popular game in the world. And it's not a theory, it's a fact. The fact is it's really easy to get something round with two sticks and to kick it around and try to get through that goal. Right. I was in Africa and they were playing soccer. I'm like, of course they're playing soccer here. It's easy. But you know, there's some things the off size is, is ridiculous. The, like the only sport in the world that can't stop a clock, like just stop a clock. I mean, I think what's. Yeah, I hate to, you know, we, I think we already took some on the comment because we didn't know we were talking about on a messy card because like we had one detail wrong and I apologize for that. But I don't like there's, there's a lot of cards, a lot of niches and we don't pretend to be the soccer niche. We talk about its relevance and we're doing that here. It's the world's most popular sport. I have no idea why I don't hate it, but I don't like to watch it. I mean I don't hate anything sports wise. I just don't get into watching it. I've tried to. I just. A son, I had a couple sons are pretty good at. It just happened to be that they were good at several sports. So we put them in the most logical choice that wasn't that. I think what makes soccer special is just the culture and community that rallies behind it with. In all of these countries. Like if you like when I went to Prague and they had a, a game going on while I was there and you could just see and feel how excited everyone was to be there. And it's just such a different feeling and environment when you're with that community. And like I've just seen it firsthand, especially in like, like South America and stuff where those teams are super strong and there's a lot of like competition going on. Like they, everyone, all families and everything rally again like together. And it's just. I think it's something pretty beautiful. No, I think it is. I think that's well said and I agree and I have no issue with that. It's just in, you know, the Focus group of 1. My personal interest does not lie there. I. Well, I respect and appreciate all of that. I think it's you know, it's competition. I mean, like, what are, what are they also they doing and they're drinking bering frog and they're watching soccer. Period. Like, yep, pretty much. There's nothing else going on. So a question I posed to, to my buddies is last weekend we're sitting up there around a campfire. I said, do you know how good the United States would be if that was the only sport in the United States? And you got LeBron playing goalie and you got, you got the running backs playing, you know, strikers, and you got like, it. The US Would beat every team, hands down. Not even close. If it was the only sport in the United States like it is in many other countries. I had this conversation with, you know, a couple guys, I think it was last couple guests, one we talked about. It was actually on right about now, this business show, but it was about the youth growing up and that, you know, our best athletes just don't play soccer. You know, like they end up in something else because there's typically a clearer path to money and success and fame and all those things. So it's kind of like something like, what do they say? Like, programs are hard to turn around because, you know, success breeds success. You know, it's like chicken of the egg. Right. And I think that's part of the problem. And our best athletes are elsewhere. But you're 100% right, Brian. And I said the same thing, like fastest, best players end up doing something else. What, what else we got today, Bella? Well, in. Oh yeah, more fanatics news. They were so fanatics. The NFL, mlb, NBA and players association associations were getting sued over their exclusivity licenses and limiting competition. Not. Well, they are getting sued by Panini. But the specific court case I'm talking about was not through Panini. And in March it was dismissed. And then they were given time to come back and build a better case. And they chose to just say that was done. And so now they can't be recharged by these people, at least for this. For this crime. So. Well, not crime case, I guess crimes. Now who's going to jail over this? But what I do think is interesting is that the same judge that dismissed or that dismissed this case is the same judge hearing fanatics. And Panini's case. Yeah. Fair. Yeah. It could mean something. I think there's a lot more. One, the people suing the fanatics and tops didn't have a license previously. They just were like trying to say, I don't know, Monopoly, not enough competition. All that that's one thing versus, and I enter that the judge is right on some little, hey, well, you go buy the license, then you could, if you want. If you want to bid a billion dollars or whatever they paid for them, go for it. Yeah, so I think this is a little different with. But there is a judge that's ruled in favor of one company very quickly and he's gonna have to, you know, talk about them. There could be parallels, I don't know. Well, what about like, the fact is, like, I mean, the judicial system, especially in the court for business or, or, you know, monopolies. I mean, if you're going to take someone like that to court, you better have a shitload of money. Like, some of these are like, it's dismissed because they're like, bro, we're already in this thing for a million five. We're out of money. And fanatics never runs out of money. So, like, is it really, like, it's just an attrition game at some point and that, I mean, that could be. I don't know who the other party was, but I mean, Panini has money. They're going to fight this thing. Right. But I don't know if Joe Cool from down the street with this class action lawsuit had enough money maybe to not take this all the way. Yeah, it's hard to say. Probably. Hey, if we get a quick paycheck, well, we're willing to spend this to go get that quick paycheck and no, they don't. You want to put. You want to, you know, you want to go in again? I think we're good. Once again proving the lawyers are the only ones that get paid 90% of the time. Brian, am I right? Am I right? I got a check for $4 and 20 cents from Wells Fargo from a class act lawsuit that was settled. Oh, so you're rolling in it? I mean, it. It cost me more in gas to go to the bank. Well, now you could do it over your phone, but it takes me more money to go put it in the bank than it does. Your time is worth more than it takes to put it in the bank. On your phone you said. You said it better. Yes, so we'll see. I don't know when all that's coming to it. Yeah, all I know is, you know, Topps is releasing more product than the story can keep up with. I mean, like, truly, it's. I mean, they had two releases just today. Yeah, tops at V Friends. And then the newest V Friends came out today as well as Top Series two baseball. Yeah. We will have all varieties here and do have them. I'm excited for the V friends because they have Mr. Beast signed and then Livy Dunn who she was a college gymnast, now dating Paul Skeens. But she. I followed her since I was in high school watching her do gymnastics because I did gymnastics and then I watched her all throughout college. And so I'm like an actual Libby Dutton fan. So I think that that's pretty fun that they got her to sign. Crossover. Crossover influencer crossovers. Yes. Gary's, you know, he knows what he's doing. I Wonder if his 25, you know, being the first release if those sealed boxes go up, up, up, up. Yeah, affirmative. Already have. Already will. Brian's experiencing it firsthand. Yeah. And oh yeah, I'm watching. Yeah, I got him the sitting in the. In the archives. Those are in the. At home even. Actually I don't even have them here. 2026. I mean it's a different. It looks different. It's got an updated vibe to it. I was comparing. I think it's less playful like. Like kid like it's hard to describe. It's just a little more grown up but it still feels hip and cool. You know. I think it's a popular product we had. I mean it wasn't that many but at least two or three people have like asked for it which we don't get a. We tend to cover most the gamut. So people don't. We're making people ask for stuff. But that's. I've been asked as much about that as almost anything else. Yeah, it's been interesting because like compared to the super stickers over the Tops, like people really want the top. Like it shows you how powerful the Tops name is and that's. It's been interesting to see that. I mean it all comes down. Should be pushing the stickers that when this is releasing. Yeah. But it comes down to like people collect it because there's. They make money on it. I mean I've. There's boxes that I break and like the ROI and Garrett and Gary's. You know a hobby box of Topps Chrome last year. I mean you got your money back. Not all the time but like your average was higher than the. The floor of sports cards 100. That was true for me. I. I don't argue. They probably averaged out to more than what you know like the. The net average was probably like 110%. Like it was unheard of like comparative. And it was first year release and he's got, he had a lot of, you know, built in attention from what he's done the last 15, 20 years and all that. But you make a good point on the tops chrome stuff. It, it does carry weight and I know, I knew that. I know that. But to hear it and see it live, like it's, it's real. And I mean look, that's what 85 years of being a company does for you. Go figure. Branding works over time, ladies and gentlemen. We should take like a thousand boxes of Tops Series one or Series two baseball and a thousand Gary Vee's and open them all and then see. So if any sponsor wants to sponsor that for us, that do that. We'll do that. Yeah, exactly. We'll take one for the team, you know. Yeah. If my boys had any way about it, we would priority, you know, breaking them and he like start ripping, you know, getting high on our own supply. Yeah. The. I'm really excited for the Cosmic Chrome Football coming out next Friday though. Those look awesome, those cards. That's a fun set. The basketball set was cool. We've had a lot of good luck with signature top signature football and mainly basketball. The hits. I just said I've been a couple hobbies that that has actually been. I was doing the math. We've opened three hobby boxes of that basketball and the net. Oh. I mean we're, we're 5x what we have cost in them. Oh wow. I don't think that's indicative of everyone you're going to open by the way. So disclaimer buy Careful. This is not a financial advice, but just saying maybe it's just our store and the ones we got. So. And when I'm not here, as long as it's open when I'm not here, you'll be good. Your chances are much higher for sure. When you're not there. It's like it's an uncanny phenomenon and I've just, I've. I've admitted defeat. It's terrible. Yeah. Pokemon remains hot though, I'll tell you that. I mean, hey, we, we sell more Pokemon than we do sports. You know, Pokemon in the last. Since like the beginning of the year past basketball in our scans and so like basketball was always, it was always baseball then you know, football, basketball and Pokemon was closed. Now I flipped and it hasn't gone back. Pokemon second after baseball it is third. It's after football. So. Okay. Interesting. Football, Pokemon, basketball. That doesn't surprise me one bit. I mean that aligns with the market that we See, in store, like, and our store sells more Pokemon than it does baseball. But I mean, I think that's just the nature of our location and how hard it is to get. I think can find some of the sports at retail. Pokemon, you're not finding a retail. I was actually. I was looking at our, like, because the business profile we have for Google, it, like, gives you analytics and what people search to find our store. And like, all three of the top searches had to do with, like, Pokemon packs near me, stores near me that sell Pokemon. Like, something along those lines. I just think that's interesting. Yeah, that's good. Our whole site's SEO optimized for those searches, too. That plays into it. That helps. Yeah, we got the magnet out there. It's like you're a marketing guy or something. Hey, you know, we got to get one thing right at least. I'm trying to. Yeah, yeah. Anything else on the list? And I saw the 101. Oh, yes. I mean, Shay's another million dollar card. Yep. Every week. Every week. Logo man Redemption sold for over $1 million. Yeah. I'll take two. Crazy. Only 101. It's all bad. News is headline news is great for the industry. It's great for all of us. Yeah. Now it is. I mean, we. We keep the motto building the hobby. Like, we, you know, we're all helping each other build the hobby. It won't build itself. So got uplift everyone. They should make couples. Like, they should do one, you know, two of two. So, like, so one for one and one, you know, like a couple's logo, man. Like, so the couples can each have one of two and two of two so that you're always together and, you know. Mary. Yeah. Like, couples that are into cards, you know, or bromance. That way when they get divorced, they don't have to cut the card in half. Get one. I'm just trying to save the cards, you know? It's time for this week's on it segment of the week. Hey, guys. Welcome to the on it segment of the week. It's the championship segment of the week brought to you by On It. Leonard. What's up, man? I know you're on the road show, getting some autographs, out there, doing your thing, but big week for on it. Yeah, big week for On It. For those watching on video, you probably tell that this is not the standard background. We've upgraded. We've upgraded the blank wall to a wall with a fireplace. But, yeah, huge week. I mean, Texas national champs, three teams in The Men's College World Series in Omaha, where I'll be over the course of the weekend. So once again, things are looking good for us here and it's been a fun journey, you know, to end spring sports this way. And basically the just the direct overlap with football season that I'm kind of doing right now. Exactly. One sports the next Texas takes out Texas Tech. Two. Oh, dominant performance. You know, I think you guys had both the teams, so there was no loser for audit, but Texas, you know, Tegan Caven. You know, I always struggle with her name. I want, I feel like I'm saying two last names. But what she is is far from last. She's at the front of the line because she's a badass. Yeah. Tegan Kavan, Women's College World Series Most Outstanding Player. I always want to say most valuable player, but it's most outstanding player once again. Second straight year that she's won it. She's the only player to ever win it two times. And the crazy thing is that she has another season of eligibility and she is coming back to NCAA softball next year. That's insane. Yeah, she's already the only two time most outstanding player in the tournament. She could legitimately win it a third time, which is crazy. And her numbers were just unreal. Like she threw 33 innings across the tournament, struck out 33 the last year. So I guess two years ago now she had like a 31 consecutive scoreless inning streak. So outside of giving up the couple runs that she did against Tennessee in the opener, I think she's thrown like 50 scoreless innings in two seasons across the Women's College World Series. And she signed with us this year, so she's been crazy. And she's in our Texas National Championship box too, which is live for pre order on the website. So that includes players like Tegan Kavan, Katie Stewart, Ashton Maloney, Reece Atwood, all the players who helped Texas become back to back champs. They're all in that national championship box that folks can pre order on the website. The box doesn't have any autographs in it, but it does have unique card designs and some special inserts and parallels that you can only find in those national championship boxes. So it's always fun when one of our teams wins and we get to make one of those. And this Texas team, I mean, has so much talent, so they're a fun team to root for. Yeah, well, we'll transition to College World Series. We got three on it teams to win it. West Virginia, Oklahoma, Texas. We're stay other than west gender state in that midway in the Midwest range where you're traveling. Leonard, three teams left out of eight. Good odds and an exciting tournament so far. Yeah, certainly has been a crazy run of upsets to kind of get us to where we are. Like, I don't think anybody thought that Troy was going to be in the in the World Series. I have them on my short list, so they're headed to Omaha. West Virginia's in Omaha for the first time. Like you said, we got Texas and we have Oklahoma joining them as well. Oklahoma with a big upset over Kansas. I'm going to be driving through Lawrence here pretty shortly. I know Jayhawks fans are mad about that, but I'm going to be in Omaha a couple of days over the weekend. So if anybody's listening to this and they're going to be in Omaha, come find me. I'll be set up outside TD Amerit Trade Stadium. I'll be doing some pack rips with on it stuff. So if you're going to the World Series, come find me if you want to hang out and chat on it. But really excited for the teams that we do have. West Virginia has been playing out of their minds. Oklahoma has really come on at the most crucial point of the season. And then you have a Texas team that's just been uber consistent all year. So I think any of them have a good shot. But Georgia also does scare me because that Bulldog team is really good. And I think if you go into it certainly by the national seeds, they are the favorite. And I would be shocked if a lot of folks money in those states where you can bet is on Georgia to win this whole thing. You need to go get those Texas boxes. That's the bottom line. Yeah, Texas is a dominating year. Yeah, Texas might win both. You have Texas. That'd be a feat. I mean, you know, we talked about UCLA having a killer year, which is another on it teams across at athletes and then Texas getting covered all the way around. It was on it. That'd be huge. Yeah, it would be. And whatever team, I mean out of those three, of course if any of them win the championship, we'll have a championship box for them. Dual Texas boxes. I see a spin off coming. A double. A double championship box. You know, that would be pretty sweet. Maybe we make three products. One, we do the baseball one and we do a combo. So that'd be pretty cool. Definitely. Texas has a shot, I think. I mean, like I said, I think Oklahoma has a shot. They've got some Just bats that have really come all together along with the pitching. I think the pitching was the thing that people were really questioning going into that Atlanta regional. You know, I think people thought that Georgia Tech was going to hang 15 to 20 on them like they did to pretty much everybody else. And Oklahoma just buckled down so. And we saw that again in the Lawrence regional. They held Kansas to basically nothing. So Oklahoma's pitchers are peaking at the right time. They've had the bats all year long to make it happen happen. West Virginia is a really interesting combo team of like styles because they do have the power, they do have the contact. They're like a five tool team. You know people talk about like five tool players. Like to me West Virginia is a five tool team. They just have multiple people in the lineup and on the staff. They can do a little bit of everything. Whether you need a crafty left hander to get guys out, whether you need a power flamethrower, whether you need a base stealer, contact guy, power guy. Like they have it all. And then Texas is the most complete team just in terms of star talent. So Carson Tinney leads that group. He signed with us this year. Just unbelievable what he does behind the dish. So. And they're familiar with Georgia, you know, in the sec like they've seen that before. They know what it takes. So if anybody can upset Georgia, I'm pulling for Texas. Well go to audit athlete.com they got those Texas boxes. Episode summary

Ryan Alford, Brian Ludden, and Bella Shafer are back with a fast-moving Collector Nation episode focused on what is actually happening in the hobby right now. They talk through Brunson’s Finals-fueled card surge, why Wemby and Castle still matter long term, and how playoff narratives are shaping collector behavior in real time. They also get into the Fanatics lawsuit news, what Topps Chrome VeeFriends is showing about brand power, and why Pokémon demand is still outpacing what many sports-first collectors expect. Brian adds the data angle through Ludex, Ryan brings what he is seeing inside Collector Station, and Bella helps keep the episode centered on the headlines collectors are actually reacting to. The result is a strong snapshot of a market that feels more blended than ever, where sports, TCG, sealed wax, search behavior, and technology are all shaping value at the same time. If you want a grounded look at what is hot now and what might matter next, this one delivers.
