Here's the problem with Drake May again, this is when hype is always the biggest thing, but perception is the other thing. What would you say if I asked you? We'll turn this to Papa Gio off camera, but he's here. Don't worry, folks. What is the perception on your mind of Drake May? Just good, talented young kid makes good decisions. Okay. It was that. And by the way, you also had four games in a row to end last season where he looked terrible. Yu-Gi-Oh And then this. He played okay until that, but he could get the ball down the field and they scored 10 points. That's the other thing. And especially when your defense played as good. So. So again, hype number one. But perception now is maybe Drake May isn't runner up, mvp, Zebra bowl, losing quarterback, who's on this path? Maybe it's, hey, he looked really good because the schedule last year was terrible. It's going to now take time. See, this was one of the problems when you go all in on young guys like this. It's now going to take time in the hobby for he could come out next week and play unbelievable. And you know, people will say, oh, defense wasn't that good. It's now going to take time. It'll take multiple games before you can. Absolutely. And Yu-Gi-Oh he's still got. He's still very good. I'm not arguing that. But the hobby's going to overreact, as they should. You've played five now terrible games in a row. They gave that game away. Yu-Gi-Oh And if you play bad and one-of-one it's one thing. When you play bad and lose against Drew freaking Locke. It's a rough look. It's a long trip. Drake May played the whole season last year, right? Yes. Yu-Gi-Oh And AJ Brown, by the way, last year he threw like 10 picks total. Maybe not even. He had three yesterday, didn't he? Yep, yep. And AJ three in the fourth. I was gonna say three in the very last quarter. It was like three and eight at pass attempts or something. Ridiculous. And they were all bad. And also A.J. brown. Yu-Gi-Oh well, the one high ankle sprain Yu-Gi-Oh When's the last time a high ankle sprain healed? I mean ask Jesse Gibson circa 2012. Christmas 61622 25. I'm telling you I here's what I found last year and I remember thinking last year how it felt like it was the year before that as well. There are so many injuries to QBs that I was like why didn't I have more backup quarterbacks Just holding onto them because you're not going to see a big decline if they don't do anything. There's really just upside potential for most of it. So I honestly if you had Drew Luck if you went out and looked at card letter last night during the game and or like shortly after immediate not 10, not 50, hundreds of drew Lock cards sold on ebay. He didn't do much. I mean I, I guess I finished the game. They one-of-one I don't know what kind of stats but he one-of-one A guy comes out of obscure you don't expect him to play. So Yu-Gi-Oh as a Pats fan on the field I think the team will be fine. In the hobby though, this is when you start to say man, it's now going to take a while for Drake may to overcome that. So that scares me. I just want to talk about one other quick football note again because it's week one and people are going to overreact. I think there's a few things if if you were in this to flip. If you're just PC and stuff, you ignore the next two minutes doesn't matter. There's some pretty major matchups this weekend though. Like San Francisco is at Los S in Australia tonight. I was going to say I actually think Cam Ward though at home week one. I think Cam Ward is going to have a massive game. What's the line on that? Do you see it? Minus one and a half Titans. Which means they think the jets are favorites. What is it three points for the home team? No, Tennessee's minus one and a half. You said. Right. They're favored by one and a half. Right. Which means though on money because if you're the home team you pretty much get three automatically. Exactly. So people are actually thinking the Jets. Yu-Gi-Oh Okay. But I, I do. I think Cammore could have a good game. I'm Zebra interested in Lamar and Derek Henry. There's been a ton of off season stuff about those two. They're playing at Indy. It's a decent defense but I like Baltimore's a 3 1/2 point favorite. I, I think if they come out and have a huge showing you will see an instant spike to Derrick Henry stuff because we're looking for the next non qb. But Derrick Henry's just been. He's out there so long at this point I don't know how much he has to do to actually have an adjust too. Who's the Johnson? Taylor. Yu-Gi-Oh I mean that, that's a good not. That was a good game too Thomas. So that's a big game. Couple other ones real quick JTT in front of me. I would never. Chicago is at Carolina. Two young QBs crazy up. I mean I think no matter what something happens with Caleb's market. If he plays good or worse, his market drops. If he plays unbelievable, his market shoots up. Carolina was coming on at the end of the last year and Carolina's at home and Bryce Young's a weirdo. Bryce Young stuff is cheap. Jesse, I hate to say this was onto him early. I bought some RPAs in the off season on your sage advice. That sounds like that's a team that's pretty good. I think it's like the Washington quarterback. He's small. Yu-Gi-Oh he just. He doesn't take hits as much as Jaden does. And the last game is which is a huge week one game. Buffalo was at Houston. Oh okay. That should be game. Josh Allen's almost the same as Drake May. If he has a bad opening week it's going to take three, four, five weeks in a row for him to recover hobby wise. I still think he's the best player on the planet when he's healthy but if he loses week one it's also a huge Coming? I think so, though, because, I mean, like, same as Drake May, he just has more. Because I think Drake May's different because he is a rookie in the fact that Josh Allen is. Or not rookie. Oh, is it third. But either way, the fact that he's so young and he doesn't have anything, not as much backing up his experience. Experience. I feel like Josh Allen would be more solidified as far as most people, like, have held on to him. And if anything, his pricing has gone up even though he hasn't one-of-one that Zebra bowl that everybody's been hoping he gets to. But, I mean, he's also played well, so that's just where I think. I don't think it drops, by the way. I think you're misinterpreting what I'm saying. Oh, I think of a hobby jump, though. If he starts off bad. Josh Allen already has a great resume. So you don't think fall, but you don't think maybe a slight fall. I mean, a slight fall. Because you got to remember, two people have been loading up for the last two months on football. Yu-Gi-Oh I think if he starts off slow, it's a small drop, and then it takes weeks to recover because we've seen the song and dance. We've seen him be the best. We've seen him be great in the playoffs at times even. And we've seen him one-of-one the mvp. How much of it do you think is dependent on how they lose? Like, if it's a very much close game, you know, or if it's not even their fault as a team, it's Zebra bowl or bus with them. It's. Yu-Gi-Oh because like I said a couple years ago, like, that was a whole big thing. They lost against kc, but he left the field on top and the defense stunk a couple years later. You don't remember that unless you're specifically thinking, like, wait a minute, but he's played well in the playoffs. Yu-Gi-Oh Not like Lamar. He's been totally different. Sure. But it hasn't affected his hobby value in that regard because, like, hey, he still loses. C.J. stroud is. They're talking about a lot of guys I know talk. I think they're gonna have a big comeback year. I don't know, baby. I'll tell you right now. Stroud wins Week 1 against Buffalo and looks halfway decent. As terrible as he looked against the Pats in the playoffs. They Beckett up that Montgomery kid. He'll have an immediate from the pricing. David Montgomery. Yu-Gi-Oh If they run the ball. They said they loaded Up Houston. They could be. So that's a huge one. The very. I said last one. This is the last one. The Monday night matchup is Denver at Kansas City. Two things. Number one, Bo Nix is going to get the same treatment as Caleb and Drake May. If he comes out and looks good, hey, maybe this is the time. Great defense. We get optimistic. If he comes out and looks bad, it's. Oh, wait a minute. We're going to take weeks to get back to where we were. I don't think there's any value with Mahomes, though. Either way, like, if he comes out and looks amazing, it's still Mahomes. If he looks terrible. Yu-Gi-Oh but he's coming off an ACL LCL injury. Yu-Gi-Oh fine. But I think there's a couple games that get really, really, like if Jackson dart looks great against the Cowboys. I think there's a number of situations where if you have been buying the last two to three months like I have, that's why I'm doing the show Sunday night. I'm unloading a ton of football I've been buying to sell now. It's like after week one, you will see a huge reaction to a lot of guys one way or the other. There's some good games this weekend. Yu-Gi-Oh pretty. Yu-Gi-Oh I mean, the whole schedule is pretty good. Do you see the Jackson Dart? I think it was the 2025 Prizm Black Finite Jackson Dart. Yu-Gi-Oh it's 101 PSA 10 auto. It sold for $204,000. Auto? Not an auto. No, no auto. $204,000. This was August 28th. Just to be clear, when your kids can't go to college in a few years, buddy, which if they got that person to Buyers Jeans, they're not going to college anyways. That's the reason you spent 200,000 bucks on that bum. Here's what I appreciated about this. I think it was like Fanatics collect made this post about it. But what I appreciated was how they kind of trolled Eli Manning. It sold for five times more than any other Eli Manning card. Two Zebra Bowls for Eli Manning. I mean, that's. That's what I mean. Like, is that not insane? Did he get a hall of fame? No, he didn't. He did get it right. He was low, too. But anyways. Yu-Gi-Oh that's crazy. Yu-Gi-Oh Just to be clear, that's when your family fortune went away, when you made that stupid decision. I mean, like, we're spending $11 million on Otani cards where it's just. It's him on both. Like, he signed them both. Like, it's just we're. We're living in a weird time where it's like these people. Granted, Ohtani has more. Like. It's. I'm not comparing Ohtani to Jackson Dart, but I am saying $11 million on a card that just came out, you know, that just hit the printing press, and now you have it in your hand. It just seems like, oh, Yu-Gi-Oh that seems interesting. And now we have. You know, there's just a lot of sales that are happening where I'm like, okay, I don't think it's like. I think they're legit. I think people wanted those cards. They think it's either going to go up in value or they just were a big fan, whatever the case. Stupid. Yu-Gi-Oh that's my. I'm just like, Yu-Gi-Oh but does it hold that value? It's like the Otani stuff, probably. Well, it's like the Mac Jones stuff. Like, I think back to the Mac Jones, like, sold for 100 grand. Yu-Gi-Oh exactly. And now, boy, Mac Jones, my boy. Well, you know What? When he's 70 bucks, I can take a Fleer on him. But, Yu-Gi-Oh it's. It's kind of crazy. All right, well, there you go. I feel like there's, like, a bunch of little things. I have marks on. PSA is one of them. Yu-Gi-Oh for sure. So PSA came out with the announcement that they are. I need it for that one. They've increased their output, basically. Production's up 39 from this time last year. Year over year. Yes. So it's. I would say, like, okay, well, the. The new facilities are hiring people. It's good. They're pushing stuff out. And at this point, they've decided, well, I guess as of September 14th, they're going to open up a new tier for grading. Now, to me, I don't view this as a new tier. I think it's just like. Oh, well, I thought it was called regular. It's called standard. Oh, this is standard. Okay. So standard is what regular was. Yu-Gi-Oh but they didn't get rid of money. Regular is just more prioritized now. Yes. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh So standard. No, no, Regular, I would guess would be less prioritized. No, regular. 79 bucks. Regular has a quicker return time. Oh, no, no. So that's priority. Priority. Oh, this is formerly. That's what. Okay, they're saying standard is new. Standard is. They're saying that's a new tier. And how much is it? $60, 59.99. Okay. 90 to 100 days. So that's what regular was. Max, the clear value of a thousand dollars. Okay, so just to be clear though, regular right now, because we're before the 14th, is the exact same delivery time, but it was 79. So you've made. You're using a new name, but it's a 20 cheaper level than it was, right? Yu-Gi-Oh but I don't. I thought regular was cheaper. Was it? Regular was always 79. Okay. All right. 79 level is now called priority. Yes. But it has a 30 to 40 day turnaround time. No, 70 to 80 days. Okay. So you're saving 20 days. So if you have it in at 79 bucks, the current regular, you're supposed to get an updated thing with a little bit quicker return. That's a one-of-one And there's at least a cheaper option. 60 is still crazy expensive, but there is now a cheaper option than 40. Former regular at 79 bucks. I actually need to contact PSA because you remember I. At the TOPS conference. That was Phoenix. Yu-Gi-Oh I was like, I think it was early April. I want to say I Tribute off like five cars getting those back and they said they were supposed to be shipped back in July, and I have not gotten those back yet, so. But that was a bulk level, right? That was. Yu-Gi-Oh that was back then. But Yu-Gi-Oh Breaking news, Jesse. Cards are not coming home. Not getting those graded again. This isn't the end all, be all. It is a good step. Production is way up. You now have a cheaper level. So now the next step is, hey, in a few months when the backlog continues to be lower, we need to see some sort of a. Whatever bulk level opened sub 30. If that happens, I will be Zebra happy. I don't know that comes back that cheap, but that is my hope. I. I was talking to Funko about this and I do think, well, what it. Well, if he grades more than you or what if funk will have 10, 10 other people combined and everybody you know, too. I think his hope is very similar. He wants a lower price level to open back up some kind of value tier. I just don't see it happening. It'll be very dependent on what we see coming from this opening of the 60 level. Because, like, sure, I think there's gonna be a ton of people who are like, oh, well, this may be the lowest it's gonna get. I'm gonna go ahead and submit all at 60. Is he doing a bunch of 60? So, no, he's only. He said he is not doing a bunch of 60. In fact, his thought process, I Think it was like 10 to 15 of his cards he said he was going to send in at that level. Okay. And he is now he's basically hoping that they do the same thing, they open up another lower level. I think that they may either do a opening up of, like, you have an amount that you could send in. Like, say, you know, a hundred cards you can send in to get graded. A limit, but Yu-Gi-Oh some kind of limit that you could do. Sorry, tree guy, texting here. I got to stay on top of that. Oh, that's. No, that's important. But the other idea is like. Or they do it where, you know. And this is something that if you're just new to cards and grading, you may not remember this, but in the last year or two, they would do specials, right? Like, where it's like, okay, we got a special this month. Send it in at this pricing. And I think before they just open up a value tier, I think they do something like that to test the waters to see, like, how much do we get in? Does it set us back another three months? Okay, we're not going to open up a value tier, but we do it and it's like, okay, Yu-Gi-Oh that was good. It didn't set us back too much. Now we can open up a value tier. I think that's the only way that we're going to see that just open up out of nowhere. Yu-Gi-Oh I agree. But however, having said all that, I'm not crazy optimistic about the future of that coming back. Kind of like you. I agree with you. I'm glad that there is a 20 cheaper option. Yu-Gi-Oh Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh So, like, again, it's. It's a good. It's a step in the right direction. Yes. The next step is really the big one to me. But Yu-Gi-Oh it's at least something. And by the way, for the guys who are like, hey, we haven't done like, you don't. Why don't they just hire more 40 year over year? That's like a. That is a pretty significant increase. Like, they're grading way more than ever. So at least they're trying to ramp up. Well, and they're opening up new facilities. They've got the one in Germany that they're opening up and. Okay, see that I don't need, though. Well, you don't. But. No, but I'm just saying, why would you. I am curious why you would do that though, instead of just pouring all your resources into what you have. Because you think about, like, the market here is very saturated as far as People know about PSA and they've already established it as like a big grader or the main grader over in Europe. I think it, for the most part a lot of people still view PSA as king, but there's other grading companies out there that are still like ace grading. I know is very popular over there and it's not nearly as big, but they're expanding very quickly. And I think it's like, hey, we need to get a foothold even better than what we already have. And plus, it's just like that's a huge market. There's. Germany is the biggest card market in Europe, to my understanding, and then followed by like uk. So it's like we need to get as many graders over there as we can while at the same time expanding our US facilities. Yu-Gi-Oh So as a US like selfishly like here, I'm like, man, I wish you just put all the resources into working on this massive backlog. Yu-Gi-Oh I'm sure they probably ex like, you know, people and I know that they've been working on it because this isn't like the first psa, you know, relationship in Europe that they've had. But at the same time, this is definitely something much bigger than they've had before. So I bet you know the capital. Excuse me, what are you wearing? Oh, please. What is that? Is that a dog on a. But this is probably not even as big as the hobby could be. So what would it take for collectors as a company to say, okay, we have to coordinate these grading companies to devise a better way to serve the hobby? Okay, I think that's enough. Yu-Gi-Oh it's a valid question. I don't think that. I think they would tell you right now. They don't. They have not found a solution yet other than continue to ramp up activity. But like, clearly they don't have a solution because all three right now have shut down their lowest tiers or have dramatically increased pricing. Iesgc. I wouldn't say they don't have a solution. I think the solutions Goldin be fully implemented right away because I think the solution is. And they know, open more facilities, get more graders. Yu-Gi-Oh that's what I mean. Ramp up. Correct. So, for example, if it's a lower graded vintage card, like a two, are you looking for a clean surface, clean corners, clean edges? Get back to me. Thank you. So number one, centering. I was gonna say that's got to be the biggest. Like, you could have a one that's centered. That will outsell a two or two and a half even. Centering is absolutely the biggest thing. Well, because it's the thing that people notice, right? Like, if you were looking at a card that edges can be messed up, but, like, from a distance, it's. Sometimes it's hard to tell. Also from a distance. Okay. Also, you can have wrinkles, and if it's on the back, it's going to severely impact the grade. But if the front looks good, so Beckett. The back severely impacts the grade. If there's. I'm saying if you have a. So centering is number one. Yes. Number two is where. Let me put it this way. Where is the damage or where are the imperfections? Is it a wrinkle that's only on one side and it's across the back of the card? That's a huge difference of a wrinkle across Mickey Mantle's freaking face. So how does the card look like? That is the simplest way. Does this look good in the holder like it is, or does it look better than the card next to it? So, like, rounded corners, by the way, probably the least. Like, I'd rather have a perfectly centered car that has really bad corners than a card that has fairly sharp corners. But it's crazy miscut. I'll say this. The thing about, like a lot of these vintage cards and they having like a wrinkle or something, because they will. But that seems to be one of the things that people feel like. Going back to the alteration conversation we had the other day, that is something that a lot of people feel like they can get out without damaging the card without adding anything or taking anything away from it. So people are buying those up whenever they can, and then they will try and fix it and then resubmit it. If you are wondering, hey, why did that card go for more than everything else that's one of the reasons. It's like, oh, the centering was great. Edges seem fine. Oh, there was this wrinkle on it. Oh, I bet I could probably fix that. And I'm going to get it regraded and I'm going to up my value. We're getting back in the restoration talk, and I don't like it. You can I. Those are ugly cards. 73 and 77s were my favorite. I collected until I was married and got out around 1992. Okay. Because the market became so saturated. I got out because I primarily collected Tops. That was what was readily available then Upper Deck, Flir, Donruss Bowman were all more available in 1989. And that ushered in as you guys know it and as everyone knows, junk wax area. Recently I came back to it. I am a boomer with disposable income. His name is Boomer. I myself even more frustrated because of the saturated market when you consider like tops, their flagship Chrome, Black Heritage, Bowman Draft, Bowman Prospect, Prizm in its many variations, Upper Deck, Goodwin Chip Champions, Panini, Fall Sage and what seems like a thousand variations of cars. Base which seems like a dirty word. Updates, reflectors, different color variations, Autos, numbered inserts, parallel. We get it. All of this and all of this across all sports. All this is so frustrating. I believe this market has pushed out the hobby collectors and 20, 30 years from now this era will be known as a junk wax area. Am I wrong? If so, change my mind. Yu-Gi-Oh let me, let me say this first of all, Boomer, I would say this, by the way, valid. I have the same complaint about a lot of stuff, even myself. Like there's not a ton of brand new stuff that I'm like, man, I got a PC, I can count on my hand the number of sets and it's three that in the last. I mean, so I have three newer sets. 2024 is the last year. It was two in 2024, one in 2023. Before that, the other set I collected was back to 2001. So it's not like every one of these sets. My point is, dude, if you don't like the new stuff, Boomer, I'm totally with you. I would say then go back and get the opici Ricky Henderson we just talked about. Like there's some awesome stuff from not new and not from the 90s, early 90s junk wax area or era, however you want to say it. I would say go back and get the stuff you want. Don't get burned out wasting your time on stuff you don't like though. Like I, I would not sit there and try to learn the freaking Zebra print and why the field level is better than the concourse and brand new select stick with this like stuff you like. Like, I don't think I would also just say skip the products too. Like you don't have to open it, I would skip the whole last 35 years. Like, I would literally go back to. Dude, go back to stuff you really. Like, you just said you got. You got into it in 72. Dude. There's some awesome sets from the 70s. You've probably never. I would go back and like, hey, let me go back and rekindle the passion I had. Yu-Gi-Oh that's. That would be my opinion. And then. Do I think this will be junk wax in 30 years? No, because the other thing you have to remember is, number one, I still don't think we're printing anywhere near as many cards as we did in the mid-90s. Like, early 90s. There were billions of cards being printed. It's not that much. Well, and also, those were all. Basically, you have to imagine the same amount of printing today, even if it is the same way left. It's all base cards. Cracked Ice if they were all base. Right. You didn't have numbered parallels. So, Yu-Gi-Oh Is there a lot of stuff in 30 years we're going to look at as, like, common junk? Of course. But a lot of the numbered stuff, the rare stuff. The market is not the market. The hobby as a whole. Like, how many more? For every one collector in 1991, there are how many today? Yu-Gi-Oh Like, has it 100X. And there's a difference between, like, the kids that were buying a pack at Kmart and the people who are actually collectors. Right. Like, I bought packs, but I wouldn't call myself a collector back in the 90s. However, today it's a much different story. I think there are a lot of people who are collecting, and it. You can collect for different reasons. There are some people who are collecting just because they like the cards, and there's some people who are collecting for the value of those cards. But either way, they are going out of their way to collect. Not just because it's like, oh, there's a pack of cards. I'm gonna buy that. So I do think there's a difference in clientele as well. Have you realized when you go back to nostalgic store buying of the 90s, Kmart is your go to. Is that on purpose? I just. That's where I remember buying. I like Whatnot. That's Main Street. Kmart. Main street where Kroger is now. Yep. That's where we would go to buy. I don't. I don't honestly remember buying anything else there. I don't know if they had a big and tall section. And that's why we Were going there to buy clothes or something. But I do remember we would go there and I would get a pack of cards. So it's a hefty little guy. I remember the same thing. Boston came out was huge when I was a kid. Really. I remember that's where my dad would take us because we. I don't know if we even had a hobby around there. Talk to Mark these days. Something I wanted to ask is looking at the gym rate numbers, it looks like CGC is really growing with a consistent turnaround time and better customer service, if you've ever experienced. When do collectors start getting serious about cgc, especially with the relationship of Fanatics and wondering what an increased relationship, so to say, would do with Fanatics to its competition with the collectors in psa. Thanks for the time and Danny, good call. Here's the one thing I do want to address. Number one, we hear about this Fanatics collection and Ruben's an investor. Yu-Gi-Oh Just to be clear, we've talked about this before. Blackstone is a minority investor in CSG the parent or CGC the parent company? Michael Rubin did not like throw his own money in there that we know of. It's the company. Like, what is Blackstone Venture Company? Venture capital company? I believe so. Investment fund. So. So that part gets brought up a lot. And I'm like, that is an overplayed. If Ruben owned the thing or was invested, you'd probably see a huge integration with Fanatics. There is some. There is definitely some. There's definitely some. But here's the other problem. Talk to guys at card shows, talk to shop owners. Shep will tell you this as well as other shop owners. I just saw Rob from Burbank talk about this too. Nobody is going into those shops and be like, oh, cgc, I want that. I know the numbers have increased a little bit on the sports side because the sport has not been dramatic. But like, I don't know. That's another one of those numbers I see. And I'm just like, it's wild there are that many people. Because you'd never see it or hear about it. I will say I think there's some validity to what he's saying at Fanatics Festival. Oh, dang. You weren't at Fantastic. So downstairs where we were meaning the. The card combine, there were a couple booths that you could go over. You could scan a QR code on your phone and you would get a free graded card. They were all SSGC graded cards. CSG or CSG. Excuse me. They were all CSG graded cards. And this was something that was like, oh, that's kind of interesting. What I had heard was, and I don't know if this is true, so I'm just going on off hearsay was that some people fnx they ripped a few cases of product and they just sent every single one of the cards to cgc. I said CSG before. Now I'm saying cgc. What is it? What is it these days? C S, G. So here's what they have to do is they're obviously getting, they're using them for certain things. I think that if Fanatics were to just come out and say, oh, we have a much larger stake in it or we are going to buy in or we're going to partner with them, I think you would see an increase in attention with that company. I do notice that like the. There's a recent Pokemon sale. It was an American card and it sold. It was a record selling card for any American printed Pokemon card and it was in a pristine 10 CGC holder. So I think there's more attention being paid to it. Again, pristine's different. I. I understand a lot of people view that as, like, a little bit higher than a PSA 10 in some cases. I think if we heard Fanatics come out and make some actual push, saying, we're backing this or we're getting invested. Sure. You would see the value of CGC graded cards go up. Maybe. I. I think you see the. The volume, the resale stills where I'm like, when does that catch on? I just. That's what I mean. I think. That's what. I don't think the. I think volume is already high, and maybe it does affect that, but I think the. The overall perception of the value goes up and therefore maybe people start paying more. I think. I think, again, that's. That's not one of those where it's like, I feel very, very strongly about it, but it is just so odd thing to see Fanatics in every bit of the hobby right now, except for grading, and it feels like that would be the next step for them. I just wonder too, how much, like, at some point you don't have money to try to take over every part of the hobby. Sure. Grading, like, talk about something you have to throw a ton of money at and for how long. I would also want to see them change the name because it's like the fact that it is CGC or CSG or whatever. And I'm just someone who's been collecting for a couple of years now, but what I'm seeing is the wax prices going up and up and ordinary folk being priced out of the market. Agreed. And even if you're one of those people that saves a few bucks every month and buys a box or two, you're barely getting any return at all on that investment. You know, you can spend $2,500 on a box, get the case hit in the box, you still lost fifteen hundred dollars. It's to that point the boxes are. They're charging for these boxes as if the premier hit The 1 of 1 Victor Wembanyama is in that box. That's the price. And so by the time you actually. Wembanyama 101, you've paid 20 times, 30 times the cost of that. Excuse me, of that car. And it seems like rather than open wax for trying to get a case hit, you're almost better off just going and buying the hit directly. I know you don't get the same rush, you don't get the same adrenaline rush from doing it that way. 100%, by the way. Let's just cut you off, by the way. Excellent accent. That's an original Brooklyn looking good, by the way. If you're just talking ROI and you're on like a fixed income to a degree, a thousand percent. Don't ever rip a pack, a box, anything. Go buy the cards you want. You'll save money. And then what you do is mix in. Hey, I have the. Because he mentioned at the end, I still have the itch I want to rip a little bit. Go buy some retail stuff for cheap. But if you're looking, if ROI factors in at all, you don't mess with wax. ROI is for singles. I think the idea of the. We're tapping around breaking like. I mean, like, why aren't we just talking about that? Like you just go out and buy a pack or something. Because you're not guaranteed to get that either there. I mean, I. No, I agree. But at least you're going to pay a lot less. And my thinking is yes, a box that cost fifteen hundred dollars is, it's a lot of money and it's kind of crazy that we're living in a world like that. But we're also not living at the same time where the big hit was, you know, a few hundred bucks. There's cards that we're selling for a million dollars right off the bat. So I do understand. But the gap is you, you would at least agree. Gap is out of scale and it's not like there's going to be every box that's going to have of value over what did we say, like 5, 10 or something like that of what you paid for it. I, I think there's going to be a lot more people that would find it more valuable to themselves both in entertainment and in the overall impact of their wallet by just buying a pack at their LCs or getting into a break in either getting a spot or find maybe a break who's just selling out packs or something like that as well. I, I, or just buy the single like you said or Yu-Gi-Oh of course the singles. Okay, so we do agree. But I think like at least when you, when you get to still have that rush because I think that's a big reason, very big reason why people even go and buy product to begin with is they're looking for that treasure hunt and they're hoping for, you know, the Goldin ticket. I think if you can buy a pack and still open it, that's probably the best option as opposed to going out and buying a box. Agreed. Yep. So when I first got in the hobby a few years ago, I noticed that PSA9 sold for about the same as a RAW. At least for ultra modern. Even better before. And now it's just less the state of grading. I like to collect slabs. I like the safety of knowing that they're all. They're authenticated. There's no discrepancy on the grade itself. But I. It's just been a headache dealing with psa. The wait time, the cost. Sure. So I basically, I just. I don't buy raws anymore. I settle for PSA eights for nines cheaper than raw. You know, just as long as it's slabbed. Have you seen in the market, particularly at card shows, is it harder to move raws? Do nines outsell raws now? Do even our PSA8 even getting up in value? Yu-Gi-Oh it's an excellent question. It was cut you off. We'll try to get through a few of these. Number one, Tanner, you're absolutely correct. A nine is about equivalent to raw. At a card show, you might get a slight bump on a 9 over raw. Anywhere else though, online people will. It's crazy. Can I ask what that information that you're saying? Have you looked recently since the shutdown down? Because I have experienced where nines are selling better than they were because of the fact that people can't get their cards graded simply and they want their encapsulated. So I will say this.
